Whoa, hey, it's been a while, hasn't it? Or maybe it's only been a month? Still, that's a long time, at least in this age.
I've been caught up in the rush and motion of a number of things, from trying to find a job to trying to get something of mine published to making new friends and all sorts of stuff. Writer-wise, I've been caught up in working on a series of short stories that sort of got away from me- they're not Pony-related, and they totally consumed my time and my art.
But now I've finished the last of them, so it's just Besides the Will of Evil and my novel on my to-write list. I'm going to keep it that way, too, because BTWOE deserves to be finished. We're more than halfway done with it, but the rest of the story is going to require all my skill.
All the same: I'm going to try and keep a steady update schedule from now on. Stay tuned.
Based on some of the lengths of time stories I have followed have gone between updates, yours hasn't even registered on the radar as being forgotten.
It's a dangerous business, picking up a pen. You start writing words, and if you don't keep your fingers, there's no knowing what story might result.
Also, hurray. I'm looking forward to BtWoE getting finished so I can give it a read.
I actually just got caught up with Besides the Will of Evil today so I didn't even notice it's been a while since an update.
Holy fuck I am hyped. I haven't even started reading Besides the Will of Evil, because I don't like to start fics before they're finished. (Thanks to half of my stories dying halfway through). If you finish this, I will slurp your dong and massage your cat. I've been wanting to read this for soooo long.
Take your time. I've got half a million words in Favorites to catch up on from pushing away almost all fanfics over the semester, and BTWOE is in that list.
I wish you luck in your endeavor to keep steady updates!

...I don't suppose there's any chance you could let me use that quote somewhere, is there?

I'm caught up with my favorites, but I have over 31 million words in my Read It Later shelf...

I can hardly keep a badly paraphrased quote from someone else to myself. Go ahead. Also, that much read it later? I'm only up to 8-9 million words.
You too? Zombies for un-life!

Thanks. As for the Read It Later, I just can't seem to stop myself...
