Introduction to the Aubade Veil

I am Mystic Morning, the Aubade Veil; the Other Purple Unicorn; the Pony Philosopher. I will be using his post to introduce myself, before diving in depth into the recesses of my mind. I will be using this blog primarily to log my philosophical musings regarding the inhabitants and goings on of the realm. Firstly, though, allow me to elaborate on my odd appellations.

The Aubade Veil: The Dark Veil over Morning. Aubade also means the sad song of morning. I am named for the morning mists, but also for the mystical darkness it carries. Too often ponies forget the beauty of the night, but also it's darkness, danger, and gloom with which we all must live. This dismal darkness is in itself beautiful, much as a blank flank, it's an emptiness longing to be filled,and while in the end emptiness will return, why should we not frolic in the forest of possibility of what can be while it can be. The cold dark morning mists allows us to carry that darkness into our days, just as we should carry our light into our nights.
And while I do not sing, play, nor compose music, at least not yet, my aubade is in poetry, which I may also share on this medium.

The Other Purple Unicorn: While I have not had the honor of meeting Princess Luna personally, she is the diarch to whom my allegiance is . I have great respect for the regality and wisdom of Princess Celestia, and for her authority, but to me the sisters rule equally, and Luna continues to lack the respect and recognition she is owed. I consider myself a student of Princess Luna's wisdom, and a disciple of her authority. My nearly obsessive study and admiration of the Night Princess has lead some to compare me to another purple unicorn, former unicorn at least, and former protege of Princess Celestia. Thus did I recieve the moniker of The Other Purple Unicorn.
