Introduction of Mystic, the Philosopher · 10:09pm Oct 7th, 2014
In my previous and introductory post to this blog, I explained my sobriquets, but also introduced myself as a Pony Philosopher, upon which I will expound momentarily. A brief introduction of myself as a pony seems well in order first.
My name is Mystic Morning, born and raised in New Horseleans. I am a unicorn, and my special talent is in the telling of stories. I dabble in many intellectual fields, however. As well as a fiction writer of short stories and adult fiction, I am also a student of archaeology, lingusitic hippology, linguistic philosophy, philology, history, and of course philosophy, and a poet.
Regarding my philosophy, much of it will be detailed in future posts here and elsewhere. My personal philosophy is one of Existential Nihilism, but with a goal to synthesize idealistic philosophies. While this seems inherently antithetical, Idealism is based on the applying the antithetical toward synthesis, and Existentialism, especially when applied to Nihilism is bleak. As I stated in my previous post, them emptiness is forever, but thus begs to be filled, but in the end what joy may we reap within our own spirit in the knowledge that the spirit will disperse. To answer this question will take a lifetime, for thought is the essence of life, and a final answer is finality for the spirit as well. Still, I suspect an answer lies in the Ideal dialectic, and using the dialectic as as a thesis to Existentialism's antithesis, which is ironically the meaning which I choose to apply to my own essence of thought and bring to the world in musing and myth alike.
