    Project/Blog Update

Unfortunately, I was unable to complete the three part Fiendship is Manic intro. A couple of job opportunities took priority this week and my personal projects had to be set aside. I will working on both Phases 1-3 of Fiendship is Manic ad the next chapter of Nightmare Knights between now and the Winter Solstice (which could also easily be related to Nightmare Night, as the Princess of

Fillysophical Friday: Notes on my philosophical perspectives.

I had mentioned in my previous post that these philosophical hypotheses will often be presented in character, so I wanted to clarify some of my terminology, since words such as Epicureanism and Hegelianism won't mean much in Equestria. Subsequently, I will say a little bit about my personal philosophical perspective, as well as Mysty's. Once again, these will be dissimilar only insofar as the

New Blog Schedule; Whatever Wednesday: IC vs. OOC

In order to make my convoluted series of thoughts, musings, and rants a bit easier to follow, and in order to motivate myself to keep up with stuff here, I have decided to begin a schedule of three weekly posts, and attempt to post something each of those days.

    Filly-sophical musings on Pinkie Pie

As I'd mentioned, I will be sharing my philosophical musings on many of the more prominent figures in Equestria on this medium. To begin, I wish to explore perhaps one of the most complex and perplexing of the six ponies I affectionately refer to as the Knights of Celestia: Pinkie Pie.

    Introduction of Mystic, the Philosopher

In my previous and introductory post to this blog, I explained my sobriquets, but also introduced myself as a Pony Philosopher, upon which I will expound momentarily. A brief introduction of myself as a pony seems well in order first.

Fillysophical Friday: Notes on my philosophical perspectives. · 4:10am Oct 25th, 2014

Once again, these will be dissimilar only insofar as the context of life in the two societies will influence them. Hopefully this information will be useful in placing my hypotheses into proper contexts.

Regarding terminology (to be updated as necessary). I will provide a simple glossary

Numerical Metaphysics = Pythagoreanism
Systematic Hedonism = Epicureanism
(Neo-)Proto-Idealism = (Neo-) Platonism
(Neo-)Proto-Nominalism = (Neo-) Aristotelianism
MetaIdealism = Thomism
Contingent Survivalism = Macchievellianism
Cognitive Rationalism = Cartesianism
Systematic Idealism = Hegelianism
Humanistic Nihilism = Nietzschism

Regarding my own philosophical system, I will try to expound in later posts. At its foundation the system I am using to analyze existing philosophy and postulate new ideas is based on asking questions generate problematic answers and create new questions. I believe that question is the key of philosophy, not answer, and a continual motivation. I am interested not only in synthesizing spirituality and phenomenal reality, but in doing so seeking new ways to conceive questions, as I believe it is possible insofar that there is nothing beyond this journey to disprove the possibility. As such I am an Existentialist. No absolute equals endless possibility and that is the potential of ponykind.
