What's next for Flare Blitz? · 8:16am Aug 3rd, 2014
It's come to my attention that some of you might be wondering what happens after 'Flames and Twilight' and some are a little confused by the ending.
This is a little clarification for those individuals. (Yes, I'm looking at you Karsap)
Okay, so number one. Flare Blitz is not an Alicorn now. He never was to begin with. His transformation into Knightmare Nova simply gave him wings made from flames. He wasn't a 'true' Alicorn and now that Nightmare Moon has been revived as Dreamy, he's back to being normal old Flare.
As far as where they are compared to the canon storyline... It's still around the end of Season Three, but before Twilight ascends. Flare's presence has altered some things and Twilight becoming an Alicorn might not happen in quite the same way, if it even happens at all.
As for Dream Catcher. Some people have said that she's like Nyx... I had to research who the hell Nyx actually was, having never and still have never read 'Past Sins'
From what I have seen, the only thing Nyx and Dreamy have in common is that fact the they are a reincarnated Nightmare Moon. Nyx is innocent, naive and has no idea of her origins. Dreamy is snarky, still evil(At least she thinks so) and knows she is Nightmare Moon.
As for what will happen next? Well telling that will be spoileriffic and we all know I never spoil. I will say that some Season Four events may occur... but not in the same way. I have plans regarding a few things and TheLetterJ knows some of them (Hell, he gave me more than half of them) We haven't seen the last of the Pokemon World either. There will be love (Yeah, icky, I know) action and adventure. But more that anything else... there will be Dreamy being the most adorable thing on four hooves~
Hope that clears a few things up. I plan on writing A Brave New World for a bit and hopefully The Princess and the Human should I get the motivation.
I also have a new crossover fic in the works and it should be pretty damned good.
