Hey all. It's been a while huh.
Honestly, I've no idea where to start on this so I guess I'll jump right in. Let's start with story updates... Or lack there of.
Princess and the Human - This one has been a real thorn in my side. I started it as a thing to update every now and then. As a tracker of how my writing progressed as an author. I honestly never expected people would like it as much as they have.
I've started the new chapter but... I honestly don't know where to take it. I had a few ideas but most of them were really fucking stupid or cringy and they were all scrapped. So... Yeah, kinda stuck with this one.
Dragon King Bahamut - Another one I'm partway through. The next chapter has the penultimate fight for this arc. It *was* finished. But the fight was super short and unsatisfactory to read. So right now I'm trying to figure out HOW to write two seperate fights happening simultaneously.
Brave New World - Yeah... A lot of drama within that group at the time murdered my motivation to finish it. I've reread the story and, honestly? I could probably do better. I bogged it down with too many crossovers and honestly dragged that thing out for way too long. I've actually been toying with rewriting like I did with the Flare stories.
Speaking of... The third Flare Blitz story.
Honestly, I think I wrote myself into a corner. I've been thinking I might scrap the whole 'limited lifespan' thing I inflicted him with. Maybe it was dumb...I dunno. Thoughts from fans of the story maybe?
What else... Oh! Let's Go Woona.
I actually love this story a lot. Next to Coffee in Canterlot, I think it's my favourite and my personal baby. It's why I want it to be perfect. I've started the next chapter, but it's been scrapped and rewritten a lot.
Another contributing factor is that my laptop is dead. The hinges holding the screen on have snapped and this is the second laptop it's happened to... I'm honestly sick of them. I'd like a desktop... But I have neither the room to set one up, nor the money to make/buy one. So all my writing is done on a tiny phone...
My anxiety and depression are still a thing... Not quite as bad as they used to be. My wife and a few very close friends have helped keep me grounded.
Yeah... I can't think of anything else right now.

you can always find a group of people and bounce ideas around or pick a how you want the story's to end up and fill in to get it to that point.
you have several vary good story's that i am watching so i have every bit of faith knowing you will get things moving over time.

I have a yet another Newverse fanfic, but of my three ongoing fanfics, it's the one I'm least interested in writing. I'd be interested in reading a rewrite of Brave New World, but it would probably be too much of an uptaking and screw with continuity.
Pretending it was never a thing is probably not gonna go over to well with most people, so I would recommend that you try to see if you can come up with a decent way for the characters to solve the issue first before scraping it... not the easiest thing to do I know

Just curious is the changling gotta love em all story canceled or just on pause? Cause it's actually a great idea and I would love to read it now mater how it's wrapped up.
I know you probably get this a lot, but can you please tell me what happened to all the writers of the “A new world, a new way” universe? And why they all stopped being updated around the same time? Sorry for the inconvenience, Best of luck.
5376858 - I don't know sorry. The only ones I've stayed in contact with finished their stories like ZeusDemi and Thadius. I haven't been writing because my PC died late last year and I can't afford a new one. Plus my real-life has just been too busy.
