For those of you who might be interested in SciFi....

If you might remember, back in Feb I posted a blog saying I was working on a SciFi fic and in my most recent Blog I said that I had decided to put my previous fic on hold until I had made a good inroad into it.

Well I've posted up the first chapter of the story. It's called Brave New Worlds and I am very eager to work on it, seriously, I've been daydreaming about this setting for freaking ever. Backstory, plot, and casts of OC's (Some ponies, others massive kilometer long starships) to fill out the universe trust me when I say that I have been looking forward to writing this up for some time.

For those of you who are interested you can expected to find a universe that is vastly different than the equestira you know. No Elements, no Ponyvile, no background ponies. Aside from some location name drops most of the story takes place on completely alien worlds, on alien super structures that span hundreds of thousands of killometers. If it weren't for the fact that Twilight, Luna and Celestia are in the fic it wouldn't even be a fanfic. In the Imperium of Equis gender, race and species are simply guidlines, a body can be changed like a pair of pants. Seriously, this thing has 'humans' (except not really cause earth isn't a thing) it has anthro, it has...something with tentacles?....the whole setting is very much an Alternate universe.

Without spoiling the plot, Luna and a spaceship steal each other and go for an interstellar adventure, Celestia reminisces about Equestria and tries to reconnect with Twilight who a couple of thousand years ago put her and Luna on ice and took over.
