It's always been a pet peeve of mine to see a good story that's highly under rated. So, I'm gonna start promoting them on my page, starting with this one!
The Unity Pact, by Truthseeker
A surprise storm shatters reality for several hundred young college students. Follow the actions of the members of a small dedicated group of people as they strive, compromise, and sacrifice in the name of survival and hopefully, a nonviolence truce with those whose nation they have entered.
This story is an interesting take on HiE, and I loved EVERY second of it. It is very well written, and for once, doesn't involve the mane six, but rather a refreshing cast of OCs, so yourself a favor and check it out!
