Two years...two years it's been since I started the biggest writing project I've ever undertaken-
Volare: Two years and a week, you belated turd! Plus you haven't updated it in months-MMPH!

Actually, I have been!
9,800 words on the newest chapter and counting! Progress was majorly slowed when I took a read-through and decided I REALLY didn't like the tone of everything, so...I quite literally blew up most of the chapter and started from scratch. I like it much more now-better flowing, more informative without being overly long-winded, and just...better overall. ^^ I'd say I'm about 70% done with it (gonna cut it in half because otherwise, it's gonna be huge-I'll split it off into the next chapter instead).
Also, somepony around here created a TV Tropes Page for Blue Angel here: Blue Angel.
I have ZERO IDEA how to use this site in regards to editing the articles, but ya'll are free to mess with it if you like. 
I've also been delayed by the preparation and participation in Animation Celebration 2014 (originally Bronyfest 2014 but that's another story). Had a load of fun, met a buncha new friends, joined a new brony group on Meetups--DFW Bronies--to go with my current group--North Texas Bronies--join up if ya wish, they're a buncha awesome folks!
Goofed off with members from those groups as well as Quillin Words here on Fimfiction and the ever-awesome Drawponies.
Dressed as Doctor Whooves during the convention and good lord, was it fun! So many photos and people saying they were happy just to meet and run around with me and Princess Derpy.

Let's see...I promised to give you guys some stories from the mechanic shop, and I've yet to deliver on that.

Ahem...yes, about that. Here's a good one that happened over Spring Break a few weeks ago:
A gentleman purchased a 2001 BMW Z3 roadster as a surprise for his daughter's birthday. This sorta car: 
Problem was, like many cars its age, it needed some work to be 100%. So after agreeing to the repair procedures, I began to gather the parts needed for the work. Then the fun began...
Two days after the estimate was made and four days before the parts were even set to arrive from BMW, we got a call from the father. He sounded almost panicky. Turns out his daughter came home from college way too early and had nearly found the car in the garage. The dad asked if we could help sneak the car out of his garage and hold it at the shop till the repairs were completed. And so followed the adventure of coordinating with the dad and his dad of taking the daughter out to lunch while the dad sneaked back to the house and let us take the car back to the shop, all without the daughter knowing about it.
Fun times!
Anyways, we held onto the car and finished the repairs on schedule. Man, you should have seen the grin on the daughter's face when she picked it up at the shop! It's moments like that that make this job worth it
So....what else. Oh yes, the new shiny things in the title of this post haven't been touched on yet!
Got another raise at my job, so yay! (Actually exceeded the sales projections by over 40%, so seriously, YAY)
Today, I'll finally be getting a new laptop to replace the one whose video cars crapped out (another Toshiba, this one with a better keyboard that actually has a shift key larger than the other keys-Lenovo rent laptop, you suck! Should make writing A LOT easier though), a new phone (sorry HTC Inspire, it's been a fun four years, but the ride is over buddy), and finally, a new and improved User Page design for my profile here.

1979622 I'm actually thinking about being a pilot once this term is up, but otherwise, I never was. I'm an artillery coordinator as of now, but yeah. As for the Warthog? Surely you mean the A-10 Thunderbolt II... I think that they should keep it as air support, which was it's original purpose, and also work on a new design for it that is much more effective rather than mothballing it completely. Also, don't dis the Raptors. The Blue Angels were in fact F/A-18 Raptors, and I loved said airshows.
1979977 i'm talking about the F-22. if the make only one less f-22 a year, they can keep the A10 in action. (slight exaggeration) but seriously, all they need to do is cut back on like on or two planes, and they can keep the A10 flying. and i'm not dissing the Blue Angels. one of my favorite stories on this site is about them, and an, can they fly some crazy stunts.
