Seriously though, for everyone that's stuck it out for and with me, I think ya'll from the bottom of my heart.
There will NEVER be a wait this long between chapters ever again (mainly because there won't be a chapter this complicated to put to paper for a good long while again). 
However, the likelihood of any super chapters (30k+ words) happening again is rather unlikely due to me not having the time to sit for hours and hours and type without losing my train of thought or repeating myself.
That said, I'd like to be on a release schedule of about 1 chapter (or maybe more) per month from now on, depending on my workload at my job. Still way better than 4 years, am I right? *dodges tomatoes* 
For those who have stuck with me, please feel free to voice your opinion in the comments. I'll read and reply to them all soon. I'm going to this little get together known as Bronycon 2018!

And for those that would like a recap (and who wouldn't after being paused for 4 years! 
), here's a quick summary of all the recent Blue Angel events prior to this next chapter (some of this is also a rehash of the LAST refresher, so skip ahead if you want)
LAST TIME, ON BLUE ANGEL!
*We found our protagonists Volare, Twilight, and Scootaloo in Canterlot, along with Trixie, Octavia, Lyra, Bon-Bon, Shae the osprey, and Faber the Scoltspony among others. Twilight and Volare are there for two reasons: one for them to work on their planet theory, and two for Volare to finally meet Princess Celestia.
*Rainbow Dash stays behind in Ponyville to learn how to spar under Cloud Kicker's tutelage, in order to better "occupy" Volare's time while she wrestles with her feelings for him.
*But during their first day in Canterlot, Scootaloo is accosted by Prince Blueblood for the crime of...muddying his hooves of all things. Trixie defends Scootaloo and during the fight, they all learn the truth about Trixie: that she lost her place as chosen student of Celestia due to her desiring revenge against Blueblood for his horrid treatment and bullying of her during Magic School.
*They all have dinner at Cadance and Shining Armor's home, while Luna reveals the potential dangers of the crystal that Volare carries with him, the only thing that allows him to be close to Twilight as it blocks the influence that his magically created body produces, allowing Twilight's emotions to remain stable while in his close presence.
*Luna scries into Volare's mind in a dream, determining that his mind has indeed become dependent upon the crystal. By law, she should end his suffering before he loses himself to its influence, becoming just like the Dark King Sombra in the past. But she can't bring herself to do it, and instead speaks at length with Celestia, formulating a plan of action around Volare's situation, his relationship with Twilight, and his potential danger to himself and others. Should they kill him now and end his suffering, or take a chance that he may be different from those that came before, that he can fight the crystal's influence and learn to live in harmony with it?
*Twilight and Volare prepare to perform their planetary theory experiments the following day after Volare tells Twilight what he saw in the scry-scape.
*Meanwhile, it is revealed that Prince Blueblood is secretly and agent of The Boss/Nyctos/Corvus, and his eye on the throne once Celestia is defeated. Little does he know that he is only being used for his money and influence, that once Celestia is overthrown that Blueblood will lose his worth to them...
------Important things to remember:
*Twilight's feelings for Volare may have been reawakened with this hope of being together again because of the crystal, but is it right to base a relationship on such a tiny, fragile thing?
*Nyctos' speech is represented and remembered with a green color, but not when shown speaking in person, while Sombra's is remembered and represented in red. This is done in lieu of being able to convey voice tone via text.
And now, in the previous chapter (Princess and the Pebble):
*Twilight and Volare continue their experiments, with Twilight finding a large map book displaying all the known lands of their planet outside of Equestria.
*While studying the map with Luna ( as well as coming to the conclusion with the Moon Princess that she can't have a healthy relationship due to it relying on the fragile crystal), Volare is sent on a mission by Luna to find a book called The Rhyme of the Equetic Mariners. But in truth, this "mission" was a ruse to separate Volare and Twilight so that Celestia herself could investigate Volare's state of mind
*During this meeting, Celestia learns of the destructive capabilities of humans and, in a fit of PTSD-fueled paranoia (from her past encounter with Sombra, which Volare reminds her of for a moment), she declares that humans are a lost cause and that Volare cannot return to Earth. This follows up with her threatening to take Scootaloo away and ultimately to threaten to burn Volare to cinders for lashing out at her snide remarks. Only the timely intervention of Shae the osprey saves Volare from certain death, while Celestia realizes that Volare isn't the monster here, SHE is. Ashamed of her actions, she gives the Rhyme to Volare, who hurries back to Twilight with it.
*He keeps what happened to himself, no about to be the cause of another violent rift between two ponies, but Luna senses that something is amiss. While Volare heads to the marketplace to find Spike and Scootaloo for lunch, leaving Twilight to study up on The Rhyme Luna launches a personal investigation into the matter!
And thus we are all caught up! Enjoy and again, thank you all so much for your extreme patience.

Nice summary and all and I'm glad you're back but... it's been four years. FOUR YEARS! The only information I retain about your fic is that he was a pilot, egged on by RD and nearly died and Twilight was forced to turn him into a pony or he would have lost his life and now he stuck there and there's this weird group of ponies trying to get humans there and Scoots is an orphan (best Headcannon, I don't care what anyone says)
...I need to re-read this.

Definitely was not expecting this. Went back and read the previous blog you made in regards to why you'd been gone so long, and I have to say, I feel you on MSL, man. For a while I was actually doing a continuation of it but that sort of fell to the wayside when I discovered my own writing style and started producing my own writing content (a good bit of which I think is poorly received, but not for lack of effort), but same, dude. SAME.

A while ago, probably around the time I joined the site, maybe a year following that, I started reading your story. I specifically remember that I was reading it on a trip up into some mountain. I remember reading it in an eating area. I don't remember what I ate, but I remember that I drank warm cider there, and that it tasted nasty.
I've only read about 40 chapters of your story. I eventually stopped when I got tired out from reading a singular story, and I never came back because you hadn't updated in a while, so I assumed that it was just going to forever be unfinished.
Guess it's time to start reading it again. From the first chapter, of course, as a few years erodes the memory.
It's so great to see you back. Funnily enough I introduce my mother to this story years ago, and just a couple days past she asked me if you ever updated this. Now I'm glad I can tell her the story goes on.

Well damn, this is quite the surprise. Honestly gave up on this story ever getting revisited.
