Oh man you guys have no idea how awesome it is to have connections. Alright so… imagine that you are invited to a dinner party with your favorite celebrity. You’re in the line and the bouncer is letting everyone through. Now, let’s say you end up at the front of the line, and the bouncer looks at you and says, “Your name isn’t on the list.”
That’s you.
I, through my fanfic ingenious and complete master of the nsfw genre, in ways that would make darf kiss my foot, have garnered the attention of knighty. Fun fact: Knighty loves LunaMash, and yes, that ship pairing is now trademarked. If you use that pairing, I’ll cease and desist you so hard, Hasbro will look to me for guidance. So knighty made me a moderator.
So yeah, back to the story. The bouncer not letting you in is your life. Whereas I, was invited to the party. I get to go to the party, and you don’t. My name is on the list, and yours isn’t.
Alright so, the moment I was handed (hands, not hooves… we’re humans… come on) the reins to becoming a moderator, I immediately suggested some things that I feel need to be culled from the fandom for a while now. Simple fact is that Fimfiction and Equestria Daily are the epitome of fanfiction quality. I would know, since I’m a moderator. Here are the changes to Fimfiction:
1. A second Feature Box is being made for mature stories, and it'll replace the current one if you have mature stories enabled. That way, when you want to be friend zoned by your waifu and read stories where you will never get laid and everyone else will, there’s a box for that.
2: Going along with the first change, the regular feature box is being scrapped altogether and replaced with an EQD feature box. Since EQD is the prime source for high quality fanfiction spotlights, we've decided to just make our feature box display whichever new fics are posted on EQD. Now, the boxes will be nothing but quality 100% of the time.
3: Foalcon is banned. It's been a tough decision all around but after a late night conversation with the staff, we've agreed to drop support for foalcon stories. All of them will be getting removed tomorrow, so you should save it while you can. Also Luna Gets Her Button Mashed doesn’t count because he’s aged up, and that isn’t foalcon. Also I don’t need to delete my stories since I’m a mod.
4. The no meta rule is finally going away! Stay tuned for my fic about Digibrony being molested by Molestia. That will probably be the only time that hack is gonna get laid. I’ll release it sometime today.
So yeah, those are the main changes. I’m gonna go to college now, because I actually have things to do rather than stay on this site 24/7 like half this community. If you have any respectful disagreements, make sure to take them to /mlp/ since they might care more than I ever would.

So that means only people who manage to get a story through to EQD and then be on the top of their list get into the featured box. Does anyone else see the issue with this? EQD has RIDICULOUS standards. We can't all be freakin Pen-stroke, and I understand its not about EVERYONE, but seriously? You're going to end up with a featured box of maybe 8 stories that never swap out because no one will ever reach it for months on end.

At first I thought you were serious, but then I got doubts when you mentioned EQD, then more doubts occured me when you mentioned foalcon is banned and then I remembered that it is April Fools Day and only on that day someone can be such a dick without getting a shitstorm
