Huh. That title doesn't work as well as I thought it would. *Shrugs* Whatever.
Anyway, this is just gonna be a general update as there are a few things I want to cover.
First and foremost, Chapter 7 of Look Twice is a bit slow going, right now. There are number of different situations in it, many for characters that I've never written for, before. I won't say who, but I will say that I'm not quite happy with what I have yet, and I refuse to post it until I'm satisfied. Quality over quantity, and I think you guys are going to appreciate that in the long run. Until then, I'll try keeping you guys and gals informed (I keep saying that, but I never do. Distractions, damn you, say I!).
Second and perhaps paradoxical, considering the "quality over quantity" remark, I've been drafting a new story for a little while now. I think juggling two projects would be beneficial, especially when it comes to my writer's blocks. A change of pace and all. I was thinking of calling it Shattered Harmony, but I know there's already a miniseries on the site with the same title, and I really don't want to cause any more confusion than I already have, so I'll be rethinking the title until I finally release it. Incidentally, I've gone through a few drafts of outline for the story itself and I've finished the Prologue, but I don't want to release it until I have a few more chapters done, just to avoid the same issues I've been having with Look Twice, that is to say, second guessing my work and being unable to change it significantly after publishing (read: unwilling, more for your sakes than for mine). So, there's that to look forward to.
