Delays and Annoyances

Hey everyone, Nick here.
I'm sorry to report that Chapter 2 of Equestria Fallen has been delayed. I'm guessing it's gonna be another week until I have the chapter finished. It's taken far longer to finish that I anticipated because of a few reasons. Paradoxically, I'm least productive over vacations because I have to deal with other people, namely my younger sister. She's gotten back into The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and is constantly requiring help. Every half hour or so, she has a question or is stuck on a puzzle and can't be bothered to look up a strategy guide/walkthrough, so she comes to me. I'll be writing and she'll interrupt my train of thought unapologetically, becoming increasing obnoxious if I refuse to help, and trading insults with me when I am helping her. Before I turn this into a rant, I am going to say that I am not exaggerating. I have documentation that she's actually as bad as I'm making her out to be.
So that's been ridiculous and has delayed me immensely. I am annoyed by this.
Also, insomnia! I think I'm becoming nocturnal. Which might be good, I'm most productive late at night (which is also when my younger sister is playing video games and asking for help). Unfortunately, this conflicts with the current things I have going on (which include a job search and driving lessons), so I'm on an awkward schedule that reduces my time for writing. I'll generally write and have my train of thought broken very quickly. It's gotten to the point where my hobby (writing) is now as stressful as my A.P. classes during this previous school year.
On a side note, I graduated high school several weeks ago. I am bad at updates.
I felt that 1) you guys and girls deserved an update and 2) I needed to vent, so that's all for this (slightly ranty) blog post. Until next time, try to take it easier than I am, and stay awesome.
