Most Recent ... as of Sometime in the Past

Note to self, think of better blog entry titles.

So, that "Shattering Update" thing, yeah, things when wrong, as most of you (who actually read these) can probably tell. Spring Break (which ended two weeks ago, so this is WAY overdue) was surprisingly stressful. I additionally had to deal with insomnia for about two weeks total (the entire week of Spring Break and about a week of school thereafter), so I didn't get ANYTHING that wasn't school-related done.
That being said, during the past week, I've decided to postpone Shattered Harmony, renamed Sundered Harmony for convenience as discussed previously. I also seem to have entirely lost my ability to type quickly almost overnight and there's no (major) reason for it. I hate laptop keyboards, they're too small for my comfort. The reason for postponing the aforementioned story is primarily continuity-based. I want to fully rewrite Chrysalis's invasion plot and the subsequent Trinity War (that will not be the final name of it, but there will be three major combatants if you count an international military alliance as a single combatant, but "Shh, spoilers") in order to fully implement the technology (alternate universe with World War I tech powered by Unicorn magic, Pegasus micro-thunder storms, and Earth pony ingenuity) and develop the backstory. I want to avoid rewriting as much as possible this time 'round.
Speaking of rewriting, yes, I will be rewriting Look Twice. I've been massively second guessing everything, and I've recently come across a handwritten "test chapter" that involves Double-Take's journal well before the incident with Perjury, documenting her fears. Along with that, I uncovered one of my original Freytag's pyramid outlines and its accompanying point-by-point plan, and I've already deviated massively, some of the better, others for the worse. So, that's going to stop for a little while until I rewrite it up to "current." I'm really sorry for the inconvenience in that regard, but I just don't like everything I've done with it (Cloudchaser and Flitter serving NO purpose other than possibly finding an injured Double-Take inside "Starlight's" house and saving her life by taking her to the hospital, at which point she's exposed to Ponyville and word travels to about half of Equestria, leading to a massive incident involving Luna and the Hunters Deceit). Damn, do I want to rewrite? ... Yes, albeit reluctantly. Also the ghost in the Everfree (and it was a ghost). I've entirely forgotten his purpose. In the rewrite, it's mostly gonna be longer (additional stuff, more consistent chapter length, better pacing, et cetera).
Long story short, I need to get my act together with writing.
