A Lapse in Judgement. · 6:14am Jul 30th, 2013
Ok, so I'm officially retarded. When I got my laptop, I neglected to buy the actual edition of Microsoft Office. So, I only have until the first of August to use my free trial, and I can't go into the city to buy it for a while. It is possible that I could write the story here directly on the site, but a lack of auto correct could leave me with alot of typos that could have easily been avoided. And I would like only my best work to appear on the site. I have made the decision to not upload anything to the site until I have the capabilities to write the best story I can. Also, I am currently hitting a writers block that refuses to move, and I am having no luck with wording my sentences. I will post another blog entry when I am sure I can produce satisfactory results in my writing, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
On a completely unrelated note, what classifies a brony? I think I am, but does a brony have to like the show to be called such? 'Cause honestly, I can't stand the show. I just can't watch it. But then again, I love the universe of MLP. Does one have to like all aspects of MLP, the show, the universe, the characters, to be considered a brony? If I'm not a brony 'cause I don't like the show, then what could I be called? Is there a special term for that? Please leave your thoughts in the comments section below!
Regarding your unrelated note- I'm somewhat in the same boat.
I like the show, but that's not an unqualified thing. For instance, I hated Magical Mystery Cure. Hated it, hated it, hated it. It was badly written, had too many songs, and the plot twist at the end was infuriating. I'm also not a fan of the premise of Equestria Girls. It looks offensively stupid. So I'm not a Hasbro fanboy. They screw up a lot.
But the show really can be endearing at times. *shrugs*
The main draw of the fandom for me is this website. It's easily the nicest online community I've ever been a part of, and gives me at least some audience for what I write.
