Minor recommendations, ahoy! Titles go to the stories. Names go to the authors.

    Season 4

I never quite watched all of Season 3. I haven't watched any of Season 4. It occurred to me while writing for personal amusement that I won't feel comfortable posting any pony stories I happen to write until I've caught up on the episodes. At the same time, I feel a strange trepidation about watching Season 4.

    Ponyfinder

Apparently, I at some point ordered a copy of Ponyfinder. Or something.

Between this event transpiring and my receipt of my actual copy of the book, I forgot that I'd ever done it, and in fact forgot that Ponyfinder was a thing that existed. In case anyone reads this and doesn't know, Ponyfinder is a thing that exists.

First Chapter of Gleaming Chains Done, Maybe · 1:10pm Jul 10th, 2013

It's certainly a chapter-like object. Yes, it is distinctly chapterish. I am not sure if it is the actual first chapter of Gleaming Chains.

6,500 words, half of which were written while arguably delirious. Somewhere around 2,000 words were trimmed off in dead offshoots and spot-rewrites. I haven't edited yet. I think I'm going to move on to writing Gleaming Chains Chapter Two before I even offer up Chapter One to the usual crowd. It's just a little... odd. I need to chase the characterizations a little farther. If they don't break down, I'm probably good.

Perhaps you should consult an expert in Chapterzoology.

Chapterzoology? What is that?

1202749
Why, the study and cataloging of all the different species of chapters, old sport! These hard working individuals are widely valued for there ability to distinguish between what is a fully matured chapter, and what is still in it's larval form, known as a WIP (Work in Progress, to use the layman's term). In addition, the best in the field of Chapterzoology are capable of assisting in a WIP's development, weeding out flaws and helping an author to nurture it and allow it to grow. Indeed, many writers will have several such individuals working together on a single project. Though many Chapterzoologists are writers themselves, it is not an ironclad rule.
