Imagine this: I'm sifting through completed SB fics when I stumble across a story with the same cover art as Scion of Chaos and that caught my eye. Then the premise drew me in. (See cover art does do something.)
It's: The Unicorn's Apprentice
'The Unicorn's Apprentice' is based on the classic number from Disney's Fantasia. Which, to me, immediately brought forth feelings of nostalgia. So without further ado, I opened the music in a separate tab and got to reading.
Now the reason I picked this story was simply because the writing was extremely well paced. By the time I finished reading it, the song had just finished. It was a short and sweet read that played to my feelings of nostalgia in a really great way as well as having a premise that seems feasible, enough that I could see something similar being an actual episode in season 4. If you enjoy the song 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' and the story that goes with it, then I think you will find something enjoyable here.
Sure there were a few parts that could use a bit of proof-reading or editing to prevent the reader from stubbing their proverbial toe. Regardless, I found this to be an enjoyable 9-10 minute read.

I have read that one. I thought it was decent, but a little too fast-paced.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait...wait...wait, THERES A PONIFIED VERSIONI OF THE DANCING MOPS SCENE?!?!?! And it's SWEETIE BELLE!?! And it takes about as long to read as the song takes to play?! Holy crap! I have to check it out right now!!!
