300 Followers, and 5 Vectored OCs · 3:30am Feb 6th, 2013
Yesterday, I got my 300th follower. I gave up thanking everyone on a one-on-one basis, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the credit that everyone gives me by following me.
I really don't know what else to say other than "Thank you, and I will try to keep my writing as good as it's been."
Moving on, Wento has been kind enough to provide me with some high-quality vectorized art of my OC cast. I've resized them to fit in this blog post, so apologies for any quality degradation. You can find them below, after the break.

Are these pretty much the official looks of the characters, or is there a little bit open to interpretation?

They're... mostly official. Like, I had a good deal of back-and-forth about the colors of them with Wento while he was doing these. But at the same time, hair grows and ponies' style preferences change, so the manes aren't 100% set in stone anyway (kind of like the show, with them getting trussed up for the Grand Galloping Gala). Also, Sherry's cutie mark is slightly wrong (it's supposed to be a "sword with a dagger instead of a hilt," not just a sword).

Alright. :3 I just wanted to make sure I get the mane-styles right before I actually finish anything. X3 Especially for characters like Maxie or Comet, where the style isn't very specific.
As for the Sherry cutie mark, the hilt of a sword refers to everything that isn't the blade, so...it doesn't have a handle?
Or are you referring to the pommel, the little weight that's at the end of the handle, where it would be a blade instead? That was the only thing I couldn't decipher while I'm working on the fanart of the story.

Nope, it's straight-up supposed to be a sword that, if you were to hold it, it would cut you as much as it does your enemy.
