Hello everyone. I hope this year has treated you well.
I have been working on this rewrite for the last year and was making good progress. Unfortunately an event in my personal life two weeks ago has made me unable to continue working on this for now as I'm now dealing with a mental health issue.
I don't know if or when I will be able to return. If I determine it won't be possible I'll be uploading a summary of the rest of the story as the last chapter.
Life is a bit cruel sometimes and this feels like one of those times.
I don't regret writing this story, only that I must put it down. Hopefully, once this has passed I can return. I really want to.

*hugs* I am sorry to hear that. Your health takes priority and I think you're making the right choice.
I've recently been suffering from some intense burnout for the last ~2 months. It hurts me not to be able to pursue my passions, but I've also got to give my body and mind time to rest. I think you've got a great mindset and hope you feel better soon. I certainly hope I'll be back on my feet in a matter of weeks, but I need to be willing to relax which is hard.
I hope things get better for you soon.

Not really. I'm getting help from friends and family. I have faith I will be able to heal and overcome. Which is an improvement for me

Shucks, I do hope you get better. Life has so many hurdles and it seems we trip on a few or a bunch, but those long stretches are oh so good. Seeking close friends help and talking about it to them helps. "Bruce, why do we pick ourselves up?"

have youve shown anyone the rewrite or is it a private between friends thing ? i have no idea how far along the rewrite is but id die happy if you made a one chapter prologue that cover the rest of the story so at least we know the ending and wont be left on a cliffhanger forever, honestly i only know of one fic where a author did that which is crazy. best of luck to ya and hope you get better and dont think of rushing it, your health is more important

Currently I have 8 chapters written. It covers the up to the party king and is about 80k words. I only have about 3 more after that to finish the rewrite
A few have read it they tell me it is better and enjoyable
Real life comes first.
I hope things turn out alright.
