The ponies have been stripped from Equestria and are now on Cybertron, they are unfamiliar with the barren planets landscape, and what worse is that their is no organic food source to feed them, without a way back home, the ponies best chance for survival is Earth, a planet similar in landscape and life, but their are two problems: The Decepticons leader Megatron is on that planet, and he will not hesitate to hunt them down for their secrets.
Cybertron, in a way peaceful at least, lifeless, but peaceful ever since its inhabitants left in order to help the planet heal. Cybertron was now quiet, dark, lifeless.
That is until a space bridge opened in high orbit and a intact Ark and a exploding warship escaped its vortex.

The Driller was doomed, all controls where loss, the cons where evacuating and Shockwave was no where to be found.
The Autobots where attempting to land the Ark in the one place it would be safe, Iacon, the Autobot capital where the ship first launched.
Despite the protest of the CMC saying they should go after Grimlock, Spike and the Ponies, they knew they landing was top priority now.
Grimlock was asleep, the experience of going trough a space bridge exposed and without a ship is something he should never do again.
He slowly opened his eyes and saw the he was flying trough space at a high speed he shifted his position and saw it.
Cybertron.
Grimlock thought back to the day when he was in Shockwaves lab when he was tutored to the point he saw visions of the future, Starscream unintentionally getting him out, finding his friends, biting Shockwaves arm, he had foreseen these thing and they came to pass, Grimlock declared that his Dinobots served only on thing "Cybertron".
And now he was home again.
He was getting closer to the planet, any second now the burn of atmosphere entry would take effect, he would survive given his strong armor.
Grimlock them spotted a bunched of colorful objects that where also tumbling trough the void, the ponies!
If they entered the atmosphere, they would burn up in 5 seconds.
Grimlock activated his thrusters and rocketed to Rainbow Dash, he grabbed her then placed him on his chest, then Rarity, Spike, Pinkie Pie, Flutteshy, Twilight, and Applejack all safe in his arms.
He them spotted two more ponies, a white colt with a blue main and a pink alicorn in a case.
Shining Armor woke up to a startle, he remembered now, he was in space! his oxygen spell was working thank Celestia,
Remebering why he was out here he looked around frantically (which is hard in space) then he spotted what he was looking for.
Cadence still in her cage, unconscious.
He tried calling out to her, but remembered Twilight saying something about sounds unable to be heard trough space.
All he could do was watch as the case entered the planets atmosphere and fall.
And his heart sharrtered.
Feeling the was no point in living Shining Armor waited to feel the heat of his death, he closed his eyes and waited.
But instead of felling burns he felt something grab him and hold him tight.
He opened his eyes to see Grimlock and the other ponies squished together as he somehow heard Grimlock say.
"HOLD ON!"
The ponies closed their eyes and Grimlock descended to the ground, the fire burning his back.
The landing was better then expected, with the Allspark in their possession they where able to repair the Ark to its original state and the Ark touched on the surface of Cybertron like a a good ship.
"This Jazz speaking exit doors are on the right, thank you for flying air Ark!"
Applebloom was the first at the door with her friends she wanted to see this new world, she imagined a beautiful metal city with many wonders.
The Autobot Hound picked them up and put them on his shoulder.
"Ready to see another planet?" Hound said
"Sure am I can't wait!"
The door opened, the CMC closed their eyes.
The sound of the Autobots exited the Ark and on tho the surface of the planet was the sign to open.
Applebloom opened her eyes.
And her smile faded.
The city was not as she expected it was grey, mostly everyting around here was grey, buildings where broken streets where sunken and their where no signs of life anywhere.
Twilight was dreaming, she dreamt about recent events, her Alicron status being striped, her firend flying trough space to who knows where, and in the clutchs of GRimlock as they fell to the surface.
She dreamt all that before finally awakening.
Her eyes Fluttered open, she got up and looked at her surrondings, as far as her eye could see their was a grey plain streching nito infinity to the east was the ruins of a highly advanced cit up she saw the lunar light of two moons.... wait she saw that right? TWO moons!
The moons had antanas that where visible, a coming fog covered the sky and conceling the ground.
This was unbelivable grimlock said that Cyberton was as oldder than she could imagine, she was supried that planet was in one peice if the war was that bad.
The she snapped out of the daydream when she head the sound of a farm pony calling her name.
"Twilight!"
the lavander unicron turned to see Applejack atop a cliff with Spike, Rarity, Rainbow Dash was Flying,and Fluttershy, while Pinkie was bouncing as ever.
"Applejack, Spike your all alright!"
She had never been more mappier to see her friends.
"Come on up!" Rainbow Dash said
It was a struggle given the steepness of the hill but she made it up.
"Wow, if I still had wings that would have been faster"
The mood darkened when Twilight said those words, the loss of her wings felt like all her acomplishments where for nothing. She felt powerless, especially on this world.
"Where are we?" Rarity said
The group looked around again at the dark sky.
"I think where on Cybertron" Twilight said
"Autobots home planet? It could be" Spike said
"Maybe Grimlock will know" Applejack said
"GRIMLOCK!" How could they have forgeten about him! "Where is he!"
"Oh no we didn't see him when we woke up!"
"Weve got tho find him!"
The group searched frantically, then Rainbow Dash spotted a large crater.
And their was a large metal being inside said crater
"I think I found him!"
The group converged on Rainbow postion and ran to the crater.
They wasted no time going into it and running up to their friend.
"Try to use C.P.R!" Applejack said
"He has no mouth!" Twilight said
"The Heimlich manuver?" Spike said
"Do you see how big he is!?" Rainbow said
"Wait I got an idea, it may be a long shot but it could work!" Twilight said
"What?" Rarity said
Twilight got up on Grimlocks chest and walked up to his center.
"What are you doing?" Fluttershy said
Twilight gentely pushed her hoof on Grimlocks chest.
Then their was a hissing sound and Grimlocks chest opened
"Woah, how did you that would work!?" Rainbow said
"I didn't, I just guessed!"
The chest moved and shifted parts until it reveled what Twilight was looking for.
The Allspark Matrix.
The ponies where drawn to the glowing Matrix, to them this was all that remained of the Elements of Harmony after Unicron had destroyed them, the perfect combination of the Magic of friendship and the power from another world to which they did not know.
"If we can try to connect the Elements again, maybe it will wake him up!"
"But remember when Celestia said that if the Elements are passed onto another user the former will lose its connection the them?"
"Weve got to try, he saved our lives, our world! Everypony we know, we owe him more then that, its the least we can do!"
The ponies looked at each other.
"She right we at least have to try" Applejack said
"Okay on the count of three, one ,two, thre-
The sound of something powering up was heard, the lights on Grimlocks body began to flicker on and he moved!
Twilight got off as Grimlocks chest closed and he began to get up.
Grimlocks optics flickered to life and he rose to his feet he was still dazed from the impact, but would manage.
He tried walking, but he felt 7 things grab him and cheer in girly voices.
When his vision cleared, he saw the ponies hugging him.
"Grimlock your alright!" Twilight said with tear in her eyes"
"I knew it all along!"
"Yeah right Rainbow, non of us knew" Applejack said
Grimlock was supried.
"Your all alive!"
"Of course, we got big brute Grimlock to thank for that"
Grimlock was relieved, but after doing a head count he counted only 6 ponies.
"Wait where is Shining Armor?"
Twilight widdened her eyes, her brother was unaccounted for!
"Yeah where is Armor?" Rainbow Dash said
Before anyone could answer. Their was a voice heard above them.
"Up here!"
The group looked up to see a white stallion looking down on him.
"Shining Armor, your alright!" Twilight said
"Its good to see you all in one piece"
The ponies got out of the crater and Twilight hugged her brother.
"Wheres Cadence?"
"Thats what I came to get you all for, her cage survived the impact, but I'm still supriesed she's still in one piece"
"Wow Shockwave must have made the cage to last!"
"Come on shes over here!"
The group ran over to a glass case embeded into the ground, and inside was a pink alicron.
"Stand back!" Grimlock said
The Dinobot walked up to the cage and ripped it open.
The alicron came out and embraed her husband.
"I'm so glad your alright!" She said
As the couple cared for another Grimlock looked up to the sky.
And saw the buring form of the Driller fall to the surface.
Their attention captivated by the deteriorating ship the group wacthed as it crashed into Megatrons palace.
Wait, Megatrons palace!?
Then it hit Grimlock like bullet
"Where in Kaon"
The ponies stopped talking and looked at Grimlock.
Twilight was confused.
"Whats Kaon?"
"Kaon is the Deceptiocn captial, and if I just saw right that was Megatrons palace that the ship just crashed into"
"Whos Megatron?" Shining Armor asked
"Megatron is the leader of all Decepticons"
"Wait I thought Shockwave was?" Twilight said
"No Shockwave is Megatrons commander he is someone you do not want to meet"
Twilight looked into the east and saw the remains of the ship and the building exploed in a huge ball of fire.
"Well I guess Megatron won't be needing his place anymore!" Rainobw Dash said
Grimlock started to walk.
"Lets go" He said
"Wait what?" Spike said
"Why, can't you give us a chance to catch our breath take a break at least?" Cadence said
"Cadence you heard what Grimlock said, where in enemy territory" Twilight said
"Twilights right, if their is one thing I have learned is that the enemy doesn't like it when you step into their home"
"Well what are waiting for!?" Rainobw flew after Grimlock "Lets go!"
The ponies still injured broke into a run.
Heading for the heart of enemy Territory.
Little did they know a pair of dragon like eyes where watching them.
The group walked trough the streets of the city, unlike the ruins they saw outside Kaon was in suprisingly good shape.
"How come this pace looks better then outside, I thought you said the cities here where decimated" Rainbow Dash said
"Thats because no Autobots where foolish enough to attack Kaon, this place was heavey gurded and armed to the teeth, their are tunnels that lead in and out of the place, but if we need to survive for now, we have to go to Shockwaves labs" Grimlock said
"Shockwave has his own labs?" Twilight said
"Yes"
Their was an edge to his voice, like he didn't want to mention it.
"Grimlock, you sound, unhappy, did something happen to you in those labs?"
Grimlock stopped in his tracks.
"You really want to know" Grimlock said
"Sure we won't tell anyone, Pinkie promise!" Pinkie said
"Heh its not really much of a secret, but its not pretty"
"Grimlock turned around.
"Sit"
The ponies all stopped and sat down.
"You see I didn't always turn into a fierbreathing dinosour"
"Whats a dinosaur?"
"I'm getting to that"
Rainbow listened with patience.
"Neat the end of the war me and the Dinobots where originally called the Lighting Strike Coaltion Force"
The ponies gave a weird face.
"I know not a great name, when we where about to luanch the Ark Swoop detected a energon signal that could prove vital to the war effort, so we went against Optimus Primes orders and went to look for it"
So Grimlock was not very respectful to his leader, given his personality Twilight souldn't have been surprised.
"But went we got to the location, a place called the sea of rust, we where all captured b Shockwave and his insecticons"
"What's an insecticon?" Fluttershy said
"Cybertrons version of bugs, unlike your vermin their far more dangerous and bigger"
"Oh my, this planet has bugs as well? I starting to dislike this place even more" Rarity exclaimed
"Rarity, don't be rude, this place is all Grimlock has fought for"
"Thank you Twilight, now we where taken to Shockwaves lab and we where all literally torn apart"
"Really?" Spike said
"Yeah and the worst part was is that we where all aware the whole time"
That was when all the ponies gasped in shock.
"How could you been torn apart and still be alive after that? No organic species survives dissection while still awake"
"Well Cybertronians are not organic are we?"
This fascinated Twilight, Grimlock species could really take punishment!
"Wow you must be pretty tough to go through all that and still walk fine, I respect that!" Rainbow Dash said
"Believe me you would not imagine what Shockwave did to us"
"We'll tell us more!" Shining Armor said
"When Shockwave was done with opening me up he mixed my C.N.A (Cybernucalic Acid) with D.N.A of a creature from a distant world to which he called Dinosaurs"
"Dinosaurs? is that where you got Dinobots from?" Spike asked
"You could say that, eventually with a little help I was able to break out rescue my team mates, destroy Shockwaves space bridge and bite off his arm"
"Wow, that explains why he has a cannon for an arm now" Rainbow said
"Eventually we made it back to Iacon where but the Ark had already left through the space bridge along with Megatron and Optimus, the most we could do was help Ultra Magnus with the remaining Autobots escape"
"So that's why you didn't want to come here" Twilight said "To many painful memories"
The ponies where Shocked when Grimlock said those word.
"Kaon is your home!?" Twilight said
"You where a Decepticon?!" Rainbow Dash said
"No I wasn't a Decepticon, I was a gladiator who fought in the arenas, I left to join the Autobots becuase of how I saw Megeton was using his power for, that why I left Kaon"
"Oh, sorry" Rainbow said
"Its fine, my knowledge of this place will help us navigate through it quickly and quietly"
The ponies where glad they had a friend like Grimlock on their side.
"Lets go!"
The group walked quietly trough the dark city careful not to trigger anything that might make their presence aware.
Eventually they made it to Shockwaves lab where Grimlock busted dwon the doors( which he had done 60 million years ago)
The ponies walked trough the wrecked rooms of Shockwaves lab, Twilight was looking at the scrath marks and broken equipment that was everywhere.
"What happened here?" fluttershy said
"I happened"
"You did all this!?" Rainbow Dash aid looking around "You must have been really mad"
"You have no idea"
Grimlock walked up to a tall, yellow console with a symbol.
After starting it up the thing spoke.
"Grimlock, leader of the lighting strike coaltion force, you are awsome"
Twlight had her shocked face on her.
"This is Telletran 1, the computer that regulates all Cybertranian networks, it recognizes every individual, but it can't identify which fraction they belong to due to a glitch in the system"
"Cool" Spike said
After pressing a few more buttons Grimlocks hand changed into a weapon that resmbeled a glowing Letter "Y"
"Okay I have and energon Harvester and full heath and ammo, where ready to rip!"
"Okay girls lets go!"
They came into another room, fillied with a bunch of other consels.
Pinkie walked up to one, and much to her interest she touched it.
"Ugh Pinkie maybe that not such a good idea"
But the pink party pony had already ressed the button and the vocie of Shockwave was heard.
"Shockwaves log: the target world has evolved over the pass millennia, the sentiant species that dominate it are called humans the Nemeis have arrived as planed as well as Optimus, but the Ark is nowhere to be found"
"Shockwave!" Spike said
"It one of his aduio logs, he records them for historical purposes" Grimlock said
"So in other words these are his diaries?" Applejack said
"Yes"
"Sweet lets see what juicey stuff we can dig up!" Rainbow Dash said
Twilight walked up to the main panel and when she pressed the button a picture of Grimlock was displayed.
"Shockwaves log: I have injected Grimlocks cybernatic body with the alien D.N.A., this process have proven to be extremely painful to the subject, but I ahave modified all ceribral circetry to combat related efficiency, franlky I'm supried he can still talk"
"Wow, so you actually smarter then you appear huh Grimlock?" Twilight said
Rarity touched a panel and a picture of a beetle was displayed.
"Eeemp!" Rarity was frightened by the projection
"The insections appaer to follow the original trio Sharpshot, Kickback, and Hardshell, however the Queen has recently sufaced, controlling her was a snap"
"So that what they look like" Applejack said
"Wait these things have a Queen?!" Twilight said
"It would appear so" Grimlock said
"I wonder what would happen if these guys met the Changlings" Rainbow Dash said
"What are Changlings?" Grimlock asked
"Changlings are pony like creatures that feed of of the love force that sentiaent species give off" Twilight said
"Really? weird"
"Yeah an army of then tried to ruin my wedding with Cadence, their Queen kidnapped her and tired to marry me" Shining Armor said
"Wow what happened?"
"Me and Shiny used our combined love to repel them" Cadnce said
"Huh deafeted by the one thing that they came for, Ironic"
"Yeah it was" Shining said
The ponies listen to a few more logs, Twilight was amazed the Dinobots held up so well, Pinkie luaghed when she saw a buch of Decepticons dong jumping jacks, Rainbow was insulting the Seekers saying she was faster, and Appleack was intersted in them energon farms that once paved Cybertrons surface.
Finally the came to a door that was sealed of but Grimlock stated he could easily knock it down.
"Whats in their?" Spike asked
"Shockwaves holding cells, thats where he keeps his test subjects until hes ready to experiment on them" Grimlock said
"Whoa, I wonder if anyone is still in their?" Twilight said
Then Grimlocks device started to ping and he held it up.
"I think their is!"
They all looked at Grimlock.
"I'm detecting over 300 lifefroms in their"
"Autobot or Decepticon?" Shining Armor asked
Grimlocks device pinged again
"Organic"
The ponies and dragon stood backas the Dinobots tore down the right part of the door and slide the other on in.
The room was dark save for on planel which parilty illuminated the center.
PInkie PIe walked up to a blinking red button.
"I think I found the light switch" She said
Grimlock walked up to her and examined her finding.
"Your right"
"Then lets light this candle!"
Pinkie pushed the button and the lights lit up the room.
And the ponies mouths dropped too the floor(mostly Pinkies)
Their dozens of pods and cells that lined the room.
Celestia walked trough the giant room that appeared to be the foir.
"Well you Cybertronians certainly have a vast collection of history and data, even if it isn't readable"
"Yes books are old so we use data pads for reading and learning" Jazz said "I worked here once with"
"So who is this head librarian where suppose to meet?" Luna asked
"He's right there!" Jazz said
The sound of footsteps was heard and the ponies looked in the direction of the sound, out of a corner came an old looking bot, he had a beard and looked ancient, he looked older then Celestia, of course everyone here was older then Celestia and her sister.
The Changling Queen gave a seductive smile that creeped everyone out, except Grimlock, he had seen worst.
"My my, I spy with my little eye Shining Armor and Cadence, have you to had any fun yet?"
The couple held each other close, Shining shielding his wife
"What are you doing here!?" Twilight asked in demand
"Oh just hanging" the black creature said
"The whole truth!"
"Tell you what, release me and my subjects and I will tell you!"
"And why in the name of Celestia would we do that!" Rainbow Dash said
"Oh give me one reason you shouldn't"
"Well first of all you tried to steal my brother and ruin his wedding"
"Then you kidnapped all of Ponyville" Rainbow Dash said
"Then you held Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootallo hostage!" Applejack said
"Then you held us captive!" Rarity said
"And you tried to absorb Twilight's Magic using the Secretariat Comet!" Spike said "Did I mention I had to fight giant cockroaches!?"
"Okay those are good reasons"
(Note: the events that the ponies mentioned occurred during the comics that took place during the gap between seasons 2 and 3)
"but at lease I didn't kill anyone yet"
"But you attempted to kill the CMC!" Pinkie said
"And their just kids!" Rarity said
"Okay fine I'll tell you" the Queen said
The ponies kept their hateful eyes on her( and their surroundings)
"It first started a few months after you foiled my plans for revenge, we where minding our own business in our new Kingdom, you should have seen it we had all we need the neighboring Saddle Arabia provided us with the love we needed to survive"
Twilight kept her face on while Grimlock just listened.
"But out of no where these metal bugs show out of the sky and start to attack us, at at first we thought we could take them but then they displayed the ability to change form just as we could, this was surprising we never thought another race could change form like we could so we where caught off guard and easily overwhelmed"
The queen lowered her head, "We lost so many Changlings that day"
"Well serves you right!" Rainbow Dash said
"Hey we may be evil but you ponies are lucky not to lose any lives when we invaded you!"
Grimlock didn't know much about the changlings but clearly this Queen cared for her subjects just like Celestia cared for her Subjects and Grimlock cared for his friends.
"Anyway I was approached by the leader who identified himself as Kickback and where taken to this place where we have been kept in the dark, both literately and secretly"
Grimlock didn't need to her anymore.
"So you got attacked by Insecticons and taken to here to Cybertron" Grimlock said
"Yes how do you know?" Chrysalis asked
"Because I'm from here"
"Interesting what you name?"
"Grimlock"
"A strong name, I like it, so where is this Cybertron?"
The room was silent for a moment.
"If you look trough your telescope and see a metal planet thats grey and lifeless you use since to pinpoint its location"
The Changlings in the room fell silent.
"You mean where on another planet!?"
"Yes, and did you know that their are barley and lifeforms on this planet and that its been abandoned for millions of years?" Twilight said
Now this was a problem for the Changlings, if their where no lifeforms for them to feed off of the would starve.
"Where gonna die!" a Changling said
"No peoples mean no love which means will starve!" another said
Pretty soon the whole room was in turmoil, someone was gonna hear the noise.
"You had to tell them my planet was uninhabited" Grimlock said with his hand on his face
Everyone was looking at Twilight with an unapproved face.
"Sorry" she said in a sad voice.
Despite the commotion Grimlock knew their was one way to calm them down.
The Dinobot trusted his sword into the ground and smashed both his fists into the floor his legs twisted up to form a tail and a head erupted from underneath with two stubby hands.
And Grimlock let out a mighty roar which shook the whole foundation of the room.
The Changlings immediately stopped their fussing.
Grimlock transformed back.
"Now can we all stop babbling and get this over with?"
Chrysalis looked at Grimlock with interest.
"So you can change form as well, I like this one"
"Tell you what If you agree to corporate I will set you free for as long as you agree no to do anything to the ponies, got it!?"
"Are you crazy, I'm not gonna lets those things out after what they did to us!" Shining Armor said
"Yeah let them sit here and rot for all I care!" Rainbow said
"Harsh" Chrysalis said
"Twilight I'm not gonna leave them here to rot" Grimlock said
Twilight raised and eyebrow.
"I have seen what Shockwave has done to his "captives" he will tear them apart until he discoverers what makes them work, he did the same to me, I will not let that happen to any one else, no one deserves that kind of torture"
Twilight was still unsure.
"I will keep an eye on each and ever one of them, promise"
Twilight was still reluctant, but she knew the Changlings didn't deserve this kind of punishment.
"Fine let her out"
"Twilight!" they all said in disapproval
"If Grimlock can trust them then so can we"
"Yeah thats reassuring!" Rainbow Dash said
Ignoring that comment Grimlock pressed the button that opened the cages.
And the Changlings poured out on to the floor while some where floating.
"Ah it fells good to be out and about again" Chrysalis said with a smirk
The ponies huddled together as the Changlings all eyeballed them, it was obvious they where hungry.
Grimlock let out a sigh and transformed into a large tank
The back door of his form opened,
"Get in!"
The ponies, confused entered Grimlock, being so big he fit all 9 of them perfectly.
After Spike got in Grimlock transformed back to his robot mode.
"He who turned out the lights?" Rarity said
"Interesting, you can carry them inside you while still being able to function and not digest them" Chrysailis
"Grimlock I'm impressed" Twilight said
"I didn't know you could carry other beings inside you!"
"Its a little tight" Rainbow said from inside
"Would you rather be out here with you Changling friends" Grimlock said
Rainbow shut her mouth.
"That what I thought!"
"Okay so where's the way out?" a Changling said
Grimlock made for the back door and opened it, he started down the hallway with a dozens of Changlings in pursuit.
They then came across another room that contained the Wonderbolts Spitfire, Soarin and Echo Fleetfoot, they could not fit inside Grimlock so they just had to fly.
After a few more hours of walking they made it out of the city in one piece and surprisingly without drawing attention( and thats saying a lot considering you have dozens of shapshifting Changlings on your tail.
Grimlock then said that they would make their way to the Crystal city, the most spectacular city on Cybertron, the place Shockwave created his combinders.
The journey their was a long one Crystal city was a few miles from Kaon but it was a long walk.
On the way the Changlings complained about hunger and wanting food, luckily they the reason they survived this long was do to the fact that they fed off of each others love for another, maybe theses creatures weren't so different from the ponies that much.
Grimlock pasted the time by listening to the conversations inside him, Twilight had accessed his memory bank and was watching the events of my past life, from me breaking out of Shockwaves lab, to biting off his arm and running my sword through Ser-Kets brain, after a while they came to the site of the lifeless Crystal city.
"Where here" Grimlock said
The ponies got outside and beheld the metal city.
Shining Armor was surprised how much the city resembled the Crystal Empire (which was destroyed) it had a tower in the middle and a bunch of other buildings surrounding it, he could even see a stadium!
"Wow, this almost looks like the Crystal Empire!" Twilight said
"Well they didn't called this place Crystal City for nothing" Grimlock said
This was starting to make Twilight wonder, how could a city on Cybertron resemble a place in Equestria?
"Well lets go in" Chrysalis said
Grimlock held up his hand.
"No, you and your Changlings will stay outside and guard the place while we go and try to contact me friends"
"And Why should I listen to you?"
"Well aside from the fact I just saved you and your subjects from a terrible fate, a lot of being will attract attention, I need you to stay in the shadows and keep watch, that shouldn't be to hard for you now right?"
The Queen gave a look.
"Fine, Changlings do as he says"
The black creatures recreated into the shadows and waited.
The Autobot and ponies entered the city, the place was worn down and wrecked, like something rampaged trough here.
"What happened here?" Twilight asked
"Shockwave used this place to built his first combinder, Bruticus" Grimlock said
Twilight remembered that name, Bruticus took the lives of many ponies.
"So what are we looking for?" Applejack asked
"A com station, we used them to communicate between cities, but many where destroyed in the war, I don;t even know if any here are still intonational"
"Well where can we find one?" Rainbow Dash asked
"I don't know, it could take a while for us to search the whole city"
"But that would take to long!" Rarity complained
"Quit wining Rarity, we have to find on of those things"
Twilight thought for a moment.
"Hey I got an idea!"
All eyes where on the former purple alicron.
"What?"
"We should split up, that way we can cover more ground"
"Thats a great idea!" Spike said
"Yeah we could definitely find a station faster!" Rainbow said
"I don't know, splitting up is dangerous, you don't know whats out their" Grimlock said
"Oh come on Grimlock, you said it yourself this place has been abandoned for eons who else is here?"
Twilight had a point, but Grimlock still didn't like the idea
"Fine, but if anything happens to one of you its not on my head"
"thank you and don't worry none of us have died yet!"
Twilight turned to the group.
"Okay well pair off in groups of two: AJ with Spike, Cadence with Shining, Rarity with Rainbow, Fluttershy with Pinkie, and I'll go with Grimlock, while the Wonderbolts go and watch us from above.
The group was in full agreement and set off in different directions.
Twilight and Grimlock came to the stadium.
"Wonder whats in here?" Twilight asked
"A good question my little pony"
Grimlock recognized that voice.
They both looked up and saw the form of Shockwave sitting on a platform.
"Shockwave!"
The Decepticon mad scientist didn't show any emotion, like always
"Grimlock, you look surprised to see me"
"It thought you where dead" Grimlock said in a deep voice
"Oh no I am very much alive now, you see lord Megatron has contacted me and wants my help in conquering the world which you tried to keep him from"
Grimlock knew which world Shockwave was talking about, the energy rich planet that Optimus id probably now fighting to defend, he had to join him.
"I have made some creations that prove invaluable in defeating the Autobots, but I have decided that you and your friends shall get a prelude of whats in store for Optimus Prime"
"What?"
"Oh believe me you have dealt with his kind before"
Shockwave stepped aside to revel a pair of glowing yellow eyes in the darkness.
"Breed in the laboratory"
Their was the sound of a stomp.
"Cloned from fossilized remains"
The stomps grew louder.
"I present to you, my pet"
A claw stepped into the light.
"The Ultimate"
A head came out
"Autobot"
A wicked tail flinged in the air.
"Hunter"
It roared a roar like no other, everyone in the city could have heard it.
Grimlock was able to recognized what species this creature belong to, he had faced its kind before while rescuing Ultra Magnus.
Twilight was in complete shock, their where many similarities on Cybertron and her home, but this creature existed on Equestria, how could it exist here!?
Twilight was shocked at the sight of this creature, it had all the aspects of a dragon yet dragons where exclusive to her planet.
"How can a dragon exist on another planet!?" Twilight said
"Thats no ordinary dragon" Grimlock began "That is a Predacon"
"Whats a Predacon?"
"Predacons where an ancient race of Cybertronians that took the form of beasts, mostly dragons but they where the most fiercest beings on Cybertron before they went extinct"
Twilight looked at the Predacon again.
"They should have stayed extinct"
Shockwave motioned his pet.
"Oh don't be so surprised Twilight, has Grimlock not told you about when he faced these wonders before coming to your world?"
"Wait you face one of these things before?" Twilight asked
"Unfortunately yes, I managed to run my sword trough their leader, Ser-Ket "
"Yes and even though that was a loss, I have no intention of Predaking face you in battle, yet" Shockwave said
"What do you mean?" Grimlock asked
"Since Predaking is just taking his first steps I thought I should get him back in the spirit of hunting"
Predaking flapped his wings as if he was about to take of.
"You know who to kill, go do it"
And with that Predaking jumped from the platform and flew of in the east.
"He going after the others!" Twilight said
The Predacon flew like a hunter going after its prey.
"We have to warn them!" Grimlock said
The two made their way to the door, but predictably it closed on them.
"No!" Twilight banged on the metal door but to no avail, she bucked and kicked but nothing would budge.
"I can't let anything happen to them!" Twilights friends meant everything to her!
"Your to late" Shockwave said "Their fate is sealed"
Twilight looked at Shockwave with a mix of anger and horror.
Rainbow Dash had just been informed that a dragon was seen heading for where Cadence and Armor where, a first she didn't believe it, but after hearing a roar, she had all the ponies rounded up minus Twilight and Grimlock and where running in their direction.
They where almost at the area, just behind the building.
"Armor Cadence their a dragon around here we need to-
The ponies stopped in their tracks when they came across the scene of a a dragon pinning a pink alicron to the floor. ______________________________________________________________ Predaking looked at his prey with content, nothing could ruin this moment now.
"Any last words pony?" Predaking said in a deep voice
Cadence tried to get one last look at her husband if this was her fate, but alas the rumble blocked him from view.
"No words fine"
Predaking summoned a breath of fire from his lungs and put it in his mouth, he held it for a second.
Cadence closed her eyes and waited for the end.
Predaking was about to breath and destroy his prey.
When a cannon shot struck his side, sending him into a building. ______________________________________________________ Rainbow Dash was about to do something when a blast struck the dragon in his side blowing him away.
"Who did that!?" Spike asked
The ponies even Shining Armor who got himself loose, looked to the north.
And saw Scattershot holding a nucleon shock cannon.
"Looks like I arrived just in time" he said
"No better timing Scattershot" Shining Armor had never been more happy to see the Elite Guard Caption.
"Shiny!"
Armor turned to see his wife began to run towards him, he ran in response.
The couple embraced each other.
But they never did.
Predaking Swooped his prey into the Air, all eyes watched as the dragon slammed his prey into, the ground creating a Shockwave as he did, when he lifted his hand, he breathed the fire his was saving onto the corpse.
Shining Armor stopped moving when he witnessed this, tears swell up in his eyes.
Then the Caption of the Royal guards heart shattered, and he stopped breathing.
Predaking looked at what remained of his prey, the burning corpse was hot to the touch, no one would want to be near that thing
Then he felt shots being fired at him, he turned to see the white unicorn with tears in eyes and the face of a very, very angry person.
"Murderer!" it scream at him.
Seeing how his work was done, Predaking flew back to base, out of sight, but not out of mind.
The was a dead silence as Shining walked over the Burning corpse of his wife, her burning body laid in the metal ground, he could not get close enough to touch he wife's body, and even if he could, he could not hold the burning husk, all he could do is cry, cry for the lost of he wife, he would never find anyone else like her.
The finality struck him again, but he still couldn't take it, his wife, his love, his happiness, was gone, they could had have a family, kids, memories that would last until forever, but all that was taken from him by a metal Dragon.
It was going to PAY for what it did.
But Shining couldn't keep the rage up as he collapsed down and cried again. ____________________________________________________
The Stadium.
A scream echoed throughout the City, even the Changelings heard it.
Grimlocks audio receptors lit up.
"What was that noise?" Grimlock asked with concern
"What just happened out their?" Twilight asked
Shockwave just stood their in complete contempt, the screams of
Before anyone could respond, their was a roar and Predaking flew over head and they all watched as he flew back to Shockwaves lab, for reasons unknown at the moment.
"What did you do Shockwave?" Grimlock asked in anger
The Decepticon scientist responded.
"I did nothing, Predaking did"
Twilight widened her eyes, and with it came tears.
"If your pet dragon hurt one of my friends I swear to Celestia I will!"
"Do what?" Shockwave interrupted. "Attack me with the Alicron power you don't have?"
Twilight wished he would stop bringing that up, sure she wasn't an Alicron anymore and she couldn't use magic, but she could fight, the question is, how?
"While you figure that out, I will leave you to my pets"
Twilight wondered what he meant by that.
Then the answer for her question came from out of the shadows.
5 mechanical beings walked into the light, each one was a different color and they where each unique in some way.
The yellow one had four legs and a green tail, it had two frighting yellow heads and red eyes.
The red one that was next to it also had two heads, but it stood on its hid legs and its arms where small, much like Grimlocks beast mode.
The blue creature was shaped like a gorilla, but it looked more like a cross between a bear and a lizard, its body was large and ape like, while its head was that of a reptile.
The fourth creature was the most interesting, it had visible wings and a bird like head, its wings where attached to its arms and it body was somewhat skinny its colors where green while its wing where purple and its head was dessert grey.
The fifth and final one was a lizard clearly, its was blue with a appearance of a walking reptile.
Allow me to introduce you to the 5 Predacons who have a special ability for destruction, I named them after the reanimated zombies that are a result of dark energon.
"Wait, you guys have zombies?!" Twilight asked, Spike would want to know this.
"Terracons, transform!" Shockwave ordered.
They 5 Predacons transformed into their robot modes.
"Twinstrike!"
The yellow dragon's heads became his arms in robot mode, he sported a silver hammer.
"Hun-Gurr!"
The red dragons heads became its legs and its weapon was a buzz-saw.
"Blight!"
The blue ape became more slender as its reptile head became part of its chest while it was replaced by another smaller head, he also had a hammer.
"Windrazor"
The winged beast transformed and became a more upright, he then pulled a metal crossbow out of nowhere.
"And Rippersnapper"
The final Predacon just stood on its legs while its arms grew out and he also pulled out a crossbow.
The 5 Terracons all looked fierce and powerful, even Grimlock would have a hard time dealing with them.
Before anyone could charge and fight, girly voices where heard behind the duo.
"Twilight!" a familiar voice said
The two looked behind them to see the rest of their friends and surprisingly Scattershot enter he scene, all except the Elite Guard Captain with worried looks on their faces.
"Whats going on here?" Spike asked
Just as the last pony stepped in, a realization hit Twilight.
"Wait don't come in!"
But it was to late, the second Applejack stepped in the doors slammed behind her.
"Whoa that was close!" The orange farmpony said
"Great" Grimlock thought, now where all trapped in here.
"Terracons, test Grimlock and his friends"
The Predacons obeyed their master and charged with weapons ablazing.
"Oh great" Grimlock said "Its gonna be one of those days"
The Dinobot leader unsheathed the Chaos Edge sword and charge.
"Just another day at beating up bad guys" Scattershot said
Shining Armor witnessed as the Captain of the Elite Guard threw a short stick into the air, then in a split second it extended into a highly advanced Cybertronian Spear!
Scattershot caught the spear and twirled very fast like, it hit the ground a few time, creating small sparks, the Autobot then charged with Grimlock into battle.
The Capetian of the Royal Guard watched as they headed into battle, and saw Twilight and her friends cowering in fear as the battle commenced, then here remembered why he became a Royal guard, and how here rose the become their leader.
To protect and serve.
The white stallion picked up a spear from a fallen Autobot.
Celestia looked at this very old Autobot called Alpha Trion, form the looks of it he was older then her, way older.
Her was purple and bearded, her had his arms behind his back Celestia then noticed he had a Quill at his side, this surprised her, the entire civilization was highly advanced, yet he still used a Quill, she expected these Cybertronians to use a more highly advanced from of writing then this.
But for some strange reason, she felt a power emanating from the Quill, like it had the power to bend time and space.
"Greetings" the old bot said "I am Alpha Trion, the master Archivist of the Iacon Hall of Records"
The two princess then addressed themselves to the Prime.
"Its an honor to meet you, I am princess Celestia"
"And I am princess Luna Celestia's little sister"
"Its is very nice to meet you Princess Celestia and Luna, Scattershot has informed me of you condition and your predicament" Alpha Trion said
The next thing Celestia wanted to ask the old bot was uncertain, but she came up with a response.
"So Alpha Trion we have come to this planet on a accidental event, me and my sister merely wish to find my Subject and be on our way home"
"I understand, I shall send a search party to find them, Scattershot take as many as you need and use the groundbridge to get to where you need to go"
"Yes sir Alpha Trion" Scattershot said
The Autobots went outside and began to round up volunteers.
Then Celestia and Luna where alone with Alpha Trion and Alchemist Prime.
The bearded bot gave a warm smile.
"While we wait for any news, shall me and my brother give you both a tour of our ancient library?"
Celestia also gave a smile.
"We would love to"
And the four founders of Two powerful civilizations began their walk down the hall.
The battle was going both ways while Scattershots Spear would electrify and stunt one Predacon another would attack and give his fallen comrade time to recover.
Grimlock was having a problem too, he could seem to get close to a dragon without them shifting to beast mode and getting the advantage on him.
"They got us outnumbered!" Shining said
The Terracons had them now, them all lined up and fired their blasters at once, Grimlock flinched, Scattershot defected their shots, but Armor to a hit to the side and was flung to the wall.
"Shining Armor!" Twilight ran to her fallen brother, the wound wasn't deep, but it didn't look good.
"Aim for the four legged one!" Hun-Gurr said
The Terracons raised their weapons and aimed.
But before they could fire each one has hit in the chest from shots fired above them.
Twinsrike held his head as he got up.
"Who did that!?"
Grimlock turned around.
And the mouth inside his faceplate grinned.
The Dinobots stood on the stadium with a groundbridge portal behind them.
"Ready for your orders Grimlock!" Slug said
The four Dinobots jumped down to complete the team, now they outnumbered the Terracons.
"These guys are finished!" Swoop said
"Grimlock" Shockwave began "Remember when I said my Terracons a have a special ability for destruction?"
Grimlock didn't like the sound of this.
"Well allow me to show you"
The Terracons got up with suspicious grins on their faces.
"Predacon Terracons, combined and form, Abominus!"
The Terracons leap in the air and transformed.
Blight and Rippersnapper transformed into legs and hit the ground, Hun-Gurr's heads face downward and connected to each of them, a Windrazor flew into his right side and became an arm while Twinstrike became the left just as Hun-Gurrs head was replaced by a different one.
When all was said and done their stood the very first Predacon combinder.
"Can you and your Dinobots match the power of Abominus Grimlock?" Shockwave asked
The Dinobots, even Grimlock was unsure if they could beat this enemy.
"We need more power if where gonna take this guy down" Sludge said
"Much more" Snarl said
"But we can't contact their others without distracting him first" Swoop said
"So what do we do?" Slug asked
Grimlock thought for a moment, then a thought crawled into his mind, a thought that hadn't been thought in a long time, a very ling time.
It was a weapon of last resort, used it was never used before, and for good reasons.
"Tiers only one thing we can do" Grimlock said
Slug knew what he was talking about.
"You don't mean?"
"I do"
"You know we may not come back from this" Sludge said
"I know, but we have no choice" Grimlock said
The Dinobots lined up, and at their enemy with hopeful looks.
.Scattershot is the Caption of Cybertrons Elite Guard, as leader of this force Scattershot is dedicated to Optimus Prime, he also has his own team which he calls the Technobot which have the ability to form Computron
The Dinobots got into position as Sludge and Snarl transformed into what appeared to be legs Grimlock connected with his new appendages as Swoop formed the right arm of his body and Slug his left hand, finally Grimlocks head was replaced by a new, and more intimidating one.
The ponies stood in awe, they had just witnessed the Dinobots form a gigantic combinder.
"Wow, Grimlock never said they could do that!" Rainbow pointed out.
Extinction stood before Abominus, the two titans prepared for battle as their optics glowed a dark red.
"RAGGH EXTINCTION, DESTROY!!!"
"BAAAGGGHH ABOMINUS CRUSH EXTINCTION!!"
Shockwave was very well pleased, the Dinobots had unlocked their full potential, and now his two creations where going to prove which was the more powerful.
"I will leave you two to your business, may the best combinder win" Shockwave transformed into his new tank mode and speed out of sight.
Extinction sucker punched Abominus, who in turn breathed fire on the Dinobot, Extinction fire some ion cannons on his shoulders sending the Terracon back, Abominus got back up and tackled Extinction to the ground, the Predacon began to squeeze the Autobot in a fit of rage, but Extinction proved to be stronger he used the power of the Allspark Matrix to blast Abominus of his chest, Extinction got back up and used said Matrix to repair his wounds.
Exctintion got back up and brought out his sword as Abominus met it with his own.
"AUTOBOT, DIE!!"
Abominus slugged Extinction in the chest and sent him into a wall and once again pinned him down.
"WHEN YOU DIE AUTOBOT, YOUR FRIENDS DIE"
"NOT QUIET!"
Extinction kicked Abominus between the legs, causing him the flinch in pain.
Extinction then lifted Abominus and threw him into the tunnel which caused and explosion that engulfed the Predacon combinder.
Extinction let out a cry of victory that somewhat scared the ponies.
"Now that was awesome!" Spike and Rainbow said in unison.
The combinder then separated into the Five Dinobots that made him up.
Grimlock then walked up to the ponies.
"Is everyone alright?" The Autobot asked
"Don't worry where all safe" Twilight said
The ponies all nodded in agreement
"Not everyone"
Twilight turned to a mopping Shining Armor.
"Why whats wrong Shiny?" Twilight asked
The white pony looked up his eyes puffy, like he had just been crying.
"Wait wheres Cadence?"
Twilight turned to her friends, they all had the same upsetting expression on their faces.
The answer was all to clear.
"No, no....NO!"
Twilgith cried with her brother, the day had been won, but at a unacceptable loss.
"Hey guys what I miss?"
Everyone turned to see the changeling queen Chrysalis in the air looking down on the group.
Shining Armor gave a look of hatred at the changeling, once she found out about what a hppend to Cadence, he would never hear the end of it.
"Never mind that" Scattershot said "We need to get back to Iacon"
"Right we are needed their, Scattershot call for a ground bridge, Chrysalis round up your Changelings"
"As you wish Grimlock"
The queen flew off to gather her subjects.
"And Shining Armor go get the body"

The 10 ponies Changelings, Scattershot, Grimlock along with the Dinobots exited through the ground bridge portal and into the Ark, the Changelings where restless due to their new surroundings.
They came out of the ship and into the sunlight, their stood before them all a ruined city which looked like it had better days.
"Where are we?" Twilight asked
"Icaon" Swoop said, the Capital city of Cybertron"
"Wow, nice place you got here" Chrysalis said in a sarcastic voice.
"So what now?" Rainobw asked.
"Now we make our way to the one place where we can all discuss the situation" Slug said
"And where is that?" Spike asked
"The Icaon Hall of Records" Grimlock said
"Whats that?" Twilight asked with interest
"The Hall of Records is the biggest library on Cybertron, containing the sum total knowledge on Cybertron.
"A LIBRARY!?" Twilight shouted with glee. "Why didn't you say so?!"
"Ugh I just did"
"Well what are we waiting for?!. Lets GO!"
Twilight sped of into the distance. Grimlock gave the ponies a look.
"She was always fond of books and smarts" Spike said
"I see, well lets go"
The gang walked to the Hall of Records, passing by working Autobot soilders who where already busy clearing the roads, as they spotted the Changelings some gave a look of interest while others gave a look of disgust.
"Let me guess these are your friends I presume?" Chrysalis asked
"Yes, just tell your changelings to keep their distance, they can be more then fight for themselves.
"Very well" The queen turned to an armored changeling "Strika tell the changelings to behave and that we are a guess on this world"
"Yes my queen" The changeling commander relayed the message to the swarm.
Twilight walked closer to Grimlock. "She seems to respect you Grimlock"
"Yeah, but I don't know why" The Dinobot said
"Its probably because you can transform" Twilight suggested.
Grimlock pondered on that thought, it was possible.
"Well figure that out later where here"
The group came up to a library, Chrysalis told her changelings to wait outside while the rest of them went inside.
The first thing Twilight expected was a foyer that was a gateway to a number of books and archives of history and information about an entire planet, she daydreamed that she would spend the whole week reading out of shelves chock full of cybertronian science and medicine.
Of course upon entry she was beholden to her fantasy.
The Hall of records was a giant spiral of tablets that glowed and shined the very library itself was a majesty to behold.
They followed the stairs which ascended to a room when Twilight reached the top she found Princess Celestia waiting for her.
"Princess!" Twilight ran up to her mentor and embraced her.
"Thank the stars your alright Twilight!" Celestia responded
The ponies shared a moment of love, something Chrysalis fed off from, and a good thing to, she was starving.
Every since they broke out of that prison they Changelings where in a state of famine, should they not get food soon, many would start to die off.
Celestia and Luna then noticed her presence.
Celestia broke the hugs and walked up to the Changeling Queen.
Ser-Ket was once a Decepticon, but Shockwave crossed her C.N.A. with that of a Predacon and was put in charge of a group of Predacon/Decepticon hybrids called the "Forge" a task force sent to capture Cybertronians and reforge them into Predacons, she is loyal only to Shockwave.
The to Royal leaders of both races of equines eyed each other, Twilight thought that all Tatarus would break loose any second now.
But instead a conversation started.
"I know that your Changelings are in a bad shape" Celestia said
Chrysalis stood their for a second.
"Yes, and what does that concern of you?"
"If you corporate throughout the rest of this endeavor I will see that the Changelings crimes are pardoned and granted amnesty.
Twilight could not believe the words she was hearing.
"You can't be serious!" Rainbow Dash said
"And I thought reforming Discord was a bad idea but this is the Queen of the Changelings where talking about!"
Ignoring the conversation A.K.A. argument, Grimlock thought back to the days that lead him to where he is now.

"All...hail....Shockwave" the words came from Swoops mouth like a zombie, or a posseds person.
"Don't look so surprised Grimlock" Ser-Ket said
The Dinobots had just rescued Ultra Magnus, and now they where in the process of Rescuing Swoop, or at least, trying.
"Oh no, Swoop!" Snarl said
"What did you do to him Ser Ket?!" Grimlock asked
"I simply enforced Shockwaves original programing!"
"All...Hail...Shockwave" Swoop muttered again, Grimock noticed that his dino head had an eye patch on the left eye.
"I may have gone a little to far, but who are we to fight out source code?" Ser-Ket added
"You scraphead!"
Slug transformed into his Dino mode.
"I'll melt your plating off!" Slug started to breath fire.
"Slug wait!" Grimlock block him off.
Ultra Magnus laid a hand on Grimlocks shoulder.
"Grimlock Swoops gone. We need to save the bots we can and-
"Switch off Ultra Magnus!" Grimlock remarked "This is Dinobot business"
Grimlock unsheathed his sword and shield.
"One fight. One outcome Ser-Ket! You.. and me! I win you fix Swoop let us all go. You win... we all submit just like Swoop"
"And why would I agree to that when you are so clearly outnumbered?" Ser-Ket pointed out
"Bigger the battle, more chance we ALL die, and dead Dinobots...not so useful to you, Or you master!" Grimlock responded
Slug stepped forward. "Grim, wait we can help!"
"Already have" Grimlock said
"You really think Ser-Ket will fix Swoop if you win? We can't trust her!" Snarl said
"Maybe not, but shes the only one who can get him back"
"Done commiserating Grimlock!?" Ser-Ket said "The more we wait the more anxious my brothers become"
Grimlock and Ser-Ket got into battle position. Sek-Ket powered up her fails and energon sword.
"Don't worry Grimlock, I promise to reattach whatever I cut off!"
"The time for talk is over, Dinobots! Give me room!"
The Dinobots breather fire around the duo encircling the area around them with flame.
"Impressive a fitting backdrop!" Ser-Ket said "For your fall!"
Sek-Ket and Grimlock clashed weapons, even with his damaged processor Grimlock was able to see the obvious about his foe.
"So fast" he thought to himself. He bash her face with his sheild.
"Her tail, she uses it like a weapon", Grimlock processed this as her tail met his face. "Need to get her off balance!" He concluded.
"Too slow brute" Sek-Ket said, but those words where nulled when Grimlock slugged her face.
"Come on Grimlock, change to your beast form, your TRUE form, the form OUR master gave you!"
Grimlock tried not to listen.
"You know its the only way you'll be strong enough to defeat me!"
However Grimlock knew this was true, Ser-Ket was a formidable warrior, the only option of winning the match was through his Dino form, but if he did that, he would likely loose control and give into the rage the fueled him.
However Grimlock was pulled from this flashed back by the sound of a pink ponies voice.

Snapping out of his daydream Grimlock saw Pinkie Pie looking up at him.
"Come on the groups leaving"
Grimlock looked as the group was heading to the entrance of the Hall of Records, he and Pinkie gave pursuit.
Upon catching he was update by Jazz, apparently the ponies had calmed down and Chrysalis had accepted the alliance for peace between the changelings for a s long as it was mutually beneficial, also they now going to discuss the current situation. Alpha Trion spoke first.
"With the Allspark back where it belongs Cybertrons population is saved from exciton"
All the Autobots nodded in agreement.
"But with the lose of the Omega Lock, rebuilding the planet and restoring it will be even harder"
Then the Autobots look at each other in confusion.
"Whats the Omega lock?" Ironhide asked
"The Omega lock was built to restore Cybertron less it was brought to this state, it is activated be its special four omega keys, sadly the lock and its keys are now loss"
"How did this happen?" Hot Shot asked
The lock was destroyed in a battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron.
The Autobots optics widened.
"Optimus and Megatron where here?" Scattershot asked
"Indeed, I had sent Optimus a message and a list of coordinates detailing the location of the Omega keys and the lock, unfortunately the Decepticons obtained the same codes and also learn of the locks existence, the final battle resulted in Megatron using the lock to build his fortress on Earth and Optimus destroying the lock to save Earths lifeforms"
The Autobots where in disbelief, but they understood why their leader did what he did, had they had the choice between saveing their world or another, they would not abandon the living over the desolate.
"How do you know of all this?" Swoop asked
Alpha Trion did not answer.
"That is a story for another time, for now our main focus is assisting Optimus in defeating Megatrons forces on Earth"
"Okay, you the old and wise one" Grimlock said "What do you suggest we do?"
"First of all we must use the Allspark to restore Iacons defenses and rebuild the city, without the power of the Omega lock the Allspark cannot use its full power, but we can use limited pockets of its energy to rebuild what little we can"
"Then its settled we will get Iacon battle ready and build a space bridge that can take us to... where is Optimus and his team?" Grimlock asked
Alpha Trion look at Grimlock, then at the group.
"They are on a planet called Earth"

The group split off into groups of two, an Autobot was paired with a Changeling while soem had ponies Jazz worked with Pinkie, Rarity worked with Tracks, Applejack with Ironhide, Fluttershy with Beachcomber, Rainbow Dash with Grimlock, Twilight with Perceptor, Scattershot with Shining Armor, and Alpha Trion and Alchemist Prime oversaw the work with Celestia and Luna.
Hot Shot is an inexperienced Rookie and often jumps into a situation without thinking, however he is one of the most valuable and determined Autobots around, his minicon partner is Jolt
"At long last we are reunited, you represent my greatest achievement, GRIMLOCK! The Beginning of a new species. You almost ruined it all when you escaped, but fate as it seems has allowed me to correct that error"
Grimlock, the Dinobots and Ultra Magnus, had confronted Shockwave just as Grimlock killed Ser-Ket in battle, now they had to deal with the one who gave them their powers.
"I have to finish the work I began on you"
Grimlock unsheathed his sword and shield
"You might 'a changed our forms Shockwave... but we still got our strength" Grimlock responded
"DINOBOTS, ATTACK!"
Grimlock swung his sword at his foe, only for a force field to block his swing.
"Attacking without stopping to think, acting on instinct rather than reason..."
Shockwave shot a blast at Grimlocks hand, stunning him.
"It appears you evolution from Autobot to beast is almost complete"
"ARRGG!" Grimlock took the shot badly
"DINOBOTS keep up the attack" Ultra Magnus ordered
"The Dinobots know nothing but brute force, but I expect more from you Ultra Magnus"
"Grimlock are you okay?" Snarl asked his leader in concern.
"HRRr, fine Snarl.. it takes more than one shot to keep me down"
The Dinobots unleashed all their integrated blasters one Shockwave, only for his force field to come back up.
"Enough of this pointless game" Shockwave said
He pulled something familiar out of him.
"I have learned what I needed to know, I have seen how much work I have left to do on you"
Shockwave threw the device up in the air.
"What is that?" Sludge asked
"I hope I'm wrong but it looks like" Slug continued
"Its an!"
The device activated releasing a surge of electricity.
"E.M.P. !" Grimlock finished
The Electro magnetic pulse engulfed the Dinobots and Ultra Magnus, paralyzing them.
"The mine does not affect me of course, what would be the point of freezing my own circuits along with yours?"
Shockwave walked up to the Dinobot leader.
"But don't think of this as defeat Grimlock"
He was now a few feet from him.
"Think of it instead"
He aimed his hyperflux cannon at his head.
"As redemption"
The cannon fired, and Grimlocks optics went black.

"..wwwhh...Wheerrr, wher am I?"
"Back where you belong Grimlock"
Grimlock regained consciousness only to see himself strapped down to a table with Shockwave looking down at him.

"Grimlock!?"
A feminine voice called his name.
Grimlock looked down to see the one called Rainbow Dash motioning him to move.
"Come on, that Alpha Trion guy said we have to get something called the decagon back online?"
Grimlock remembered Alpha Trions first task was getting the Decagon, Iacons communications tower back online, and Grimlock would play a key role in this, since his Allspark Matrix had the power of the Cube itself he could help repair any broken consoles or elevators that lead to the control room, and with him was Rainbow Dash for Ariel view Twilight came along because she wanted to see more of Icaon and Preceptor was here for examination.
"Very well lets go" Grimlock said
Grimlock transformed into his tank mode and Twilight and Rainbow got in.
"Acording to my calculations and my downloaded map the Decagon is one clic away, the only stable way their is the speedway" Preceptor said
"Then lets roll out" Grimlock said
The two destroyer class Autobots bolted towards the building.
Chrysalis was partnered with Amalgamous Prime and someone named Brainstorm to help clear roads and help clean up the streets, meanwhile her changelings where helping with a group of smaller Cybertronians called "Minicons" these creatures seemed to get along very well as she passed some of them she heard her subjects communing with the Minicons, the Minicons however spoke in beeps and noises that even she could somehow understand.
Chrysalis had accepted Celestias peace proposal mainly because she was right about her subjects starving, and she for once wanted to get love energy without going through all the work of invading and taking, and while she agreed she wasn't completely reformed, she still had some enmity towards Celestia and her student for stopping her plans in the past.
So far the only ones she was getting along with where the Autobots, she admired their ability to change form, while they did not have the ability to take any form they wish all the time, she found them to be a civil race, and a powerful one at that, Chrysalis admired powerful figures.
"Chrysalis" a voice called her name, she turned to the one called Amalgamous Prime gave her usual smile.
"Can you move those debris out of the way"
While Chrysalis was not one to ordered around she respected this one.
"Very well" Chrysalis used her magic to levitate the heavy savage out of the way.
She liked Amalagmous because unlike his brethren he could take any form he pleased, much like a changeling but he could take the form of any species he chose, while changelings where limited to transforming into equines, and even though sh didn't admit it she enjoyed his occasional jokes every now and then.
"Alright looks like where halfway done" Brainstorm said
"Good I wish to take a much needed break after this" Chrysalis said.
The three of them continued their work while the Minicons and Changelings helped.
Omega Supreme and Sigma Supreme where using their gravity powers in their spinning hands to lift and move wreckage while Metroplex and Broadside worked with the significantly heavier stuff.
Assisting them on where they needed to go where Alpha Trion. Alchemist Prime, Celestia and Luna.
Luna and Alchemist commanded Sigma, and Broadside, while Alpha Trion and Celestia ordered Metroplex and Omega.
"Sigma lift that bridge back into place" Alchemist said
"OBJECTIVE UNDERSTOOD" Sigma lifted the structure into place.
"Luna, do your thing"
"With pleasure Prime" Luna said. using her magic the bridge welded itself back to its original form, almost like it was never destroyed.
"Your powers are most useful Luna, I am glad to have you here"
"Please, thou has shown me and my sister such hospitality, it is the least we can do"
"Yes you have our sincerest hospitality"
The two continued their work, while doing so they began to talk about their lives and discovered their where similar in many ways.
"Me and my brother Alpha Trion founded the Cybertronian civilization, we have help rule it for many millennium"
"Really? Me and my sister founded Equestria and helped it to be the land it is today, are you the younger brother?"
"Yes, and I suppose you are the younger sister?"
"Indeed"
"But my time one Cybertron was cut short for a while"
Luna's expression changed. "How so?"
"I was given the task of hunting down our traitorous brother, Liege Maximo, and due to this I missed most of Cybertrons golden age"
"Oh, I see"
Alchemist noticed Luna's change in demeanor. "Is something wrong?"
Luna knew she couldn't hide it forever, so she spook her heart.
"Its just, 1,000 years ago I became envious of my sister for getting most of the love and attention of her subjects, and so i became corrupted and revolted against my sister, in the end she had to banish me to our planets moon, and I missed 1,00 years of Equestrian life"
Alchemist felt sorry for his friend, it seemed they had both missed out on alot.
"I am sorry, you must feel terrible"
"Yes, if it weren't for my sisters student and her friends I would never have been freed from my dark influence and returned to my former self"
Alchemist smiled. "Your sister is fortunate to have a sibling like you"
"And your brother is lucky to have a brother like you" Luna said
"If only I could revert my brother Megatronus back to the friend I knew him to be"
Luna put a hoof on her new friends shoulder, to which he accepted.
Then the two leaders continued their work in rebuilding Iacon.
Celestia sewed up the cracks in the building as Metroplex put the top back on it, in an instant the building looked as good as new.
"Thank you Celestia your help is appreciated"
The Alicorn flew back down to the elderly Prime of the thirteen.
"You are most welcome Alpha Trion"
Trion gave a nod and continued down the path of ruins.
Celestia thought highly of the Autobot from what she heard he helped found the Cybertronian race, an achievement she could never do, but founding a kingdom of ponies was very similar to it, she thought of more way they where in common.
They duo came to a bridge which was out.
"Well I guess I'll have to fly you over their won't I?"
Alpha Trion turned to Celestia and smiled.
"Their will be no need for that"
Confused Celestia saw Alpha Trion pull out what looked like a book and....a Quill, a simple Quill, this dumbfounded her, for a species so advanced she thought they would use a more advanced method of writing.
But before she could ask Alpha Trion wrote something in alien language and them waited, for a while nothing happened.
Then Celestia watched in amazement as space distorted around the area of the bridge and a bright light emitted.
And when the light died their in front of them stood a shiny new bridge.
Celestia looked at Alpha Trion with great interest and amazement.
"How did you do that?!"
The Prime turned to face her.
"This dear Celestia is called the covanet of Primus" Alpha Trion held up the book. " And this is called the Quill"
While she was still Intrigued by why the metal feather was called just "The Quill" Alpha Trion continued.
"Together these tools allow me to alter the very fabric of time and space, by doing this I can change the future to a certain degree, in this case, I wrote that a certain bridge was repaired"
Celesita was greatly impressed at the power this being impressed, surely his powers suppressed even her, no where on Equestria was the power to alter the future.
"However because the future is a strange and mutable thing, the effects of the Quill are not always permanent, so we may want to cross the bridge now"
"Oh, really? okay"
The two crossed the bridge and to the other side, but the bridge remained, this must have been permanent since a bridge wasn't a very big thing that affected the future.
"So I hear from the other Autobots that the one called Optimus Prime is your faithful student?"
"Yes indeed" Alpha Trion responded "I knew Optimus had potential from the day he entered the Hall, I took him up as my personal protegee and trained him to who he is now, he became one of the top librarians and archivists in the Hall, during his after hours I would find him learning about Cybretrons history or hanging out with his friends"
"Really!?" Celestia said in surprise
"Indeed, and eventually I saw Optimus had a greater destiny ahead of him, and after a speaking with Halogen and the council, Orion Pax was coronated as Opimus Prime, the newest leader of Cybertron"
"Wow, it seems we have more in common than we thought"
"Really how so?"
"My student Twilight Sparkle, had potential when I first met her, never before had I encountered a unicorn with such raw energy, I took her as my personal protegee at my school for gifted unicorns, and she excelled in her studies and became the most studious and loyal student I had"
"Sounds wonderful"
"Yes but while learn much she didn't understand friendship Twilight, so with the return of my sister I saw this as an opportunity to help her understand what friendship meant, and she indeed found the Elements of Harmony and made many friends and I allowed her to stay in the village of Ponyville as its librarian, something she took great interest in"
"Wow, it seems we do have alot in common"
"Yes Twilight accomplished many great things and so proved she was ready to achieve he destiny"
"Which was?"
Celestia smiled.
"After she passed her final test I coronated her as Equestrias newest princess granted her wings and raising her to my species and Alicorn, it was truly a great moment in Equestria history, I was so proud of her"
Alpha Trion was not surprised at this, for her knew most of this information through the Covenet of Primus.
"But when I met your student she did not posse any wings what so ever, why?"
Celestia stopped in her tracks, he expression changed to a very sad one.
"I didn't want this to happened, I never expected this to happen, but our creator, Unicron awoke on that same day the Decepticons tired to ruin my students coronation and after finding out that he created us for evil we tried to stop him"
A tear grew in Celestias eye.
"But when my student and her friends used the Elements of Harmony to defeat him, Unicron just...just destroyed the Elements, turning them into fragments of themselves, he also took away Twilight's wings and said that she could never ascend to the alicorn race ever again, and sadly I knew this in my heart to be true, I can never ever give Twilight wings again"
Celestia sniffed.
Alpha Trion placed a hand on Celestia, giving her a helpful smile.
"You have my condolences" Alpha said
Celestia smiled again.
"Thank you, we should probably keep going"
The two teachers made their way through the Iacon ruins, repairing anything they came across.

Grimlock, Twilight, Preceptor and Rainbow Dash arrived at the Decagon, surprisingly this thing was still standing after so many years.
The two mares stepped out of Grimlock and Twilight looks at the ancient building.
"So this is the Decagon" Twilight said "Looks nice"
Preceptor transformed and help Grimlock move the wreckage out of the way, the four then made their way inside.
Twilight was in awe as the ceiling was very high even for her metal friends.
"So what are we suppose to do?" Rainbow Dash asked
"We need to repair this equipment and get communication back online, once this is done we will be able to talk to any Autobot within Iacon and the surrounding area" Grimlock explained
The group came into the central room, which was mostly hollow expect for a few elevators the transported the energon to the levels above and machines that worked the place, their was a mechanism in the center of the floor that appeared out of place.
Grimlock went up the said device and spun it into place. then he use this Allspark matrix to repair the mechanism and power immediately surged back into the Decagon, giving access to the elevators.
As the rode them up Twilight thought about how Grimlock no held the Elements of Harmony in a single object that was blessed with the power of another world, in a way Grimlock was now a Elemental Bearer, and although they hadn't known each other for very long, Grimlock and the Autobots felt like very close friends to the ponies.
"Maybe us meeting them was for the best" Twilight thought to herself.
The group reached the top and they began work restoring the consoles and the computer.
Rainbow Dash help reconnect wire that where out of the reach of the Autobots with the help of Preceptor, Grimlock and Twilight repaired the consoles and Twilight's mind grew in smarts as she studied the cybertronian tech that made up the room.
Finally they where able to reconnect the room with Teletran-1.
A voice that startled the ponies at first sounded in the room.
"Teletran online. connection the Decagon reestablished."
"This is very good, now Alpha Trion can direct orders from all around the city" Preceptor said
Grimlock used the com link to reach the old bot.
"Alpha Trion, this is Grimlock, the Decagon is back online"
The Prime responded.
"Good work Grimlock now report back to the Hall and help with bringing the defenses back online.
"Yes sir"
Twilight stared out of the window and onto the view of Iacon, even though the city was in shambles it looked like a masterpiece of technological mastery.
Even though they where far from their home, even though their families where worried sick about them, they would press forward, they would continue the fight.
Slug is one of the most enduring and strongest Autobots whose rebelious personality can be compared to his commander Grimlock, although he is the Dinobots taction, he is probably the only one who could rivals Arcee's sharpshooting skills, and while he beat opponets into submission he preferes to melt them into slag, his favorite weapon is the Path Blaster with random Destronium slug rounds that explode on impact.
Grimlock looked over the ship that would take him and the Dinobots to the planet named Earth, and from what Alpha Trion said, Earth was very much like Equestria in many ways.
Ultra Magnus volunteered to go first for he knew that he was needed there, but Grimlock had to stay a little longer. Alpha Trion had to show him something.
The Dinobot leader waited for the old bot to tell him what his orders were.
The words echoed in Shockwave's mind as he gave Onsluaght command of the Decepticon forces to return to Equestria and eradicate all the remaining ponies so that when Megatron was done with Earth, he set his sights on other worlds.
It had been three Earth years since he had last spoken to his master. After the space bridge incident with the Autobot Cliffjumper and Arcee, Shockwave was left on Cybertron with no one else, it was by sheer chance that Decepticon forces returned to Cybertron in search of weaponry. Shockwave assumed command of these soldiers who acknowledge Shockwave as temporary leader, and after rebuilding his space bridge, Shockwave planned to take his Decepticon forces to Earth, but that was before he remembered that the Dinobots where still on the planet he sent them to, the one with rich energon reserves.
After a change in plans, Shockwave took his Decepticons to the planet Arion in hopes of regaining control of the Dinobots. But look where he was now, still no Dinobots to command.
Seeing a change in plans, Shockwave gathering the surviving Decepticons and told them to go to Equestria and hunt down the remaining ponies that would oppose them and pave the way for Megatron, he sent Abominus with the small Decepticon army to help with the slaughter, while the sacrifice of his Predacon combinderwas somewhat at a loss, Shockwave knew his creations would have better use hunting equines.
Shockwave had watched the remaining Decepticons disappear through the space bridge portal, and that's when it happened.
If turns out that the bridge was on its last legs and exploded as soon as Shockwave shut it down, he did not have the resources to build another yet, and the Autobots space bridge was heavily guarded.
Once again Shockwave was alone and with no one but his experiments, and with no way of reaching Megatron Shockwave resumed his work, waiting for the day when someone would show up.
"Logically, Megatron has to return to Cybertron sometime?" Shockwave grumbled to himself.
Suddenly Shockwave's instruments detected something. He walked over to them. A powerful surge of energy was coming from the edge of the sea of rust, the location of which it was emanating from would take a few days time via tank mode.
But It would not hurt to take a look, would it?
Wasting no time, Shockwave transformed and rolled out.
Ultra Magnus packed his ship with weapons for reason Alpha Trion would not explain, Trion told him that he was "needed first, and that other Autobots would join him soon," Magnus did not question the orders of a Prime, but did as he was told.
The Wreacker leader was about to get into his ship, but before he did he turned to the other Autobots who were about to watch him leave.
"Autobots, I know that you are all more then capable than taking care of Cybertron until I return, but know this when Alpha Trion gives the word then and only then will the selective few of you join with me and Optimus Prime on Earth"
"Yes Sir!"
Ultra Magnus then faced the triple changer Springer and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Springer, I'm leaving you in charge of the Wreckers until I return."
"But Magnus, I'm just a soldier, I don't think I'm worthy," Springer said.
"And neither was I, but I believe you will do a fine job."
"Yes sir."
And with that Ultra Magnus went into his ship which then powered up.
Alpha Trion the opened the space bridge to send the Wreacker commander to Earth.
Ultra Magnus flew his ship into the scaled down space bridge portal, he had witness Alpha Trion use this portal to send an Autobot named Chaindrive to assist Optimus, so he was confident that it would send him where he was needed.
Alpha Trion watched as the space bridge activated and in a flash Ultra Magnus was gone, headed for earth.
"Grimlock" Alpha Trion said
The Dinobot turned to face him.
"Follow me."
And with that the old bot led Grimlock and his friends into a room in the Hall of Records which they were joined by their pony companions.
"Where are we?" Slug asked.
"What you are all about to see is a very important device that has kept the entire history of Cybertron in its mind like body, for the Autobots you will recognize this, for you ponies, you are about to see something you may see once in a lifetime."
The old bot pressed his hand against a wall and it opened like a door.
"Now, follow me."
The ponies and bots followed him down a stairway to a bottom and upon reaching said floor another door opened to Alpha Trion's presence.
The room inside was a bottomless hole and in the middle rising from its non-visible bottom was a chamber that must contain something important.
"Where are we?" Twilight asked
"You are all in a room that is sacred to our kind, what you are about to see will fill you with awe"
Alpha Trion stepped forward, a panel came up from the ground and when the old bot put his hand on it and reacted, then their was a strange humming noise.
The linings on the floor above the chamber began to glow and the floor opened.
What happened next, made the ponies jaws drop.
From within came out a glowing sphere expect the sphere had three rings that spun around it in perfect sympathy, the ponies were dumbfounded by what they saw.
Meet Vector Sigma, the repository of the wisdom of the Primes.
Celestia for the first time in a while was amazed, this thing was a like an eternal library in the form a glowing sphere, never in her life could she imagine that something like this could exist.
"Grimlock step forward."
The Dinobot did as he was told and when he got close enough his chest opened to revel the Allspark Matrix.
Then the rings on Vector Sigma came to a stop and a beam of light shot from the sphere and into the Matrix.
"Whats going on?" Grimlock asked
"While you do posses the power of the Allspark and the Elements your Matrix needs to be charged with the power of Vector Sigma to be used in certain situations that may be needed."
Understanding what was happening, Grimlock let Vector Sigma fill his Matrix with Wisdom.
When all was said and done, the super computer retreated into the depths.
After coming back to the surface the Dinobots and ponies where ready to go to Earth.
The Autobots managed to commission a ship in which to take the Dinobots and the ponies to Earth.
The Changelings and Chrsyalis decided to remain on Cybertron, the friendship that had formed between the minicons and the bugs would be enough food for them to feed of on, the ponies had to go to Earth due to the fact that that Cybertron did not grow organic food.
Twilight and her friends had been told that Earth was very similar in terms of appearance, geography, plant life, and wildlife.
But to the ponies it was the start of a brand new adventure with friends larger then life.
Alicorns where the first race of ponies made by Unicron the Chaos Bringer, bless with the power of logveity, allowing them the guide their pony subjects for a long time before dying of old age, Alicorns each posses an ability to combined their power with that of another alicorn to survive a feicre conflict or event. Alicorns generally live for up to 1,000 years or more before their life force expires.
Megatron sat upon his throne atop his perch of Darkmount for which he named after the fortress that existed on Cybertron.
But right now he was giving a certain human a load of crap.
"A new power dominates your world. Any further attempts to attack me will be met with even greater force. You, as leader, should know that my fusion cannons possess enough firepower to decimate any densely populated area of my choosing. I would in all likelihood set sights on your nation's capital for starters."
In a base at an undisclosed location the Human receiver responded.
"...Point taken. Now what do you want from us?"
"Nothing, Agent Fowler. The Decepticons mean no harm to humanity, we only desire a place to call home."
"No offense, but I'm having a tough time swallowing all this since you seem so bent on plastering humankind under molten steel."
"Agent Fowler, I admit that war brings out the worst in me, but the conflict with the Autobots is now over, and our quarrel has never been with your kind. Now that the one true enemy of the Decepticons is no more, my only wish is to coexist on this planet with the human race... peacefully. Together, Agent Fowler, I believe that you and I can make that dream a reality."
The call ended and Megatron rose from his seat.
"You have such a way with words, I almost believed you myself!"
The dark lord gave a triumphant chuckle.
"Earth is our planet now, Starscream and we shall finish what we started, Humankind has no idea what lies ahead for them."
"But there is one thing that concerns me, master."
"Oh and what would that be?"
"That Omega beam did cause a bit of a light show, and given the energy readings it created, any Autobot within a thousand light years would have detected its energy signature. We should scan the space ways for any incoming Autobot ships."
"You make a point, Starscream, but you missed one crucial point."
"And that is?"
"If Autobots could sense the power of the Omega beam, then so would a Decepticon, if both con and bot were on their way here, my Decepticons would surely destroy any Autobot ship that would try to land here and do us harm"
"I suppose so."
"Besides, the only way an Autobot could arrive on Earth undetected is with spacebridge."
Somewhere around the world a tear in time and space opened. If you where a human walking through the area, your first thoughts would be that your world is being invaded by aliens and that you got to snap some pics and show the authorities.
But there is nobody in the area, and aliens did not pour out of the portal. At least, not the ones you thought you'd see.
For what came out of the vortex were thirteen colorful ponies and a baby dragon.
The ponies along with Spike were ready to depart, the changelings and Chrysalis would remain on Cybertron due to the fact that they did not need organic food to survive.
The ponies and princesses would be accompanied by the Autobots Hot Shot, Huffer, and Trailcutter in case they ran into any trouble along the way to Optimus Prime.
"Okay, here's the ground rules. One: you will not stay out of my sight for one second when we're on Earth. Understand?" Huffer said.
"Yes sir," Rainbow Dash said Sarcastically.
Honestly, Dash wasn't very 'thrilled' on the whole idea of going to another planet just for food and water, even though Twilight had told them that they were going to help the one called Optimus Prime. She just wanted to go home, her father may be worried sick about her.
Twilight on the other hand was preoccupied with other matters.
"Has anyone seen Shining Armor?"

A certain white Unicorn was crying his heart out.
It had been nearly a day since Cadence was killed by that robot dragon. He loved his wife just as much as he loved his sister. They where going to have a life together, a family, if they had a daughter they would have named her Skyla.
Except all that was taken away when those Decepticons showed up and ruined their life. They killed ponies, they destroyed the Crystal Empire, and they had the audacity to ruin his sister's coronation.
But when they killed the pony he loved, that's when he completely lost it.
Ever since they arrived, Shining Armor had hid himself in a corner and laminated on these past events.
And to make matters worse, she and her subjects were here, and if she found out what happened to Cadence, she would never let him hear the end of it.
Emotionally exhausted, Shining cried himself to sleep.
"...Shiny?" a familiar female voice called his name.
Not looking up, a hoof was placed on his shoulder.
"There you are, I have been looking all over for you."
The pony looked at his sister with his puffy eyes.
"I haven't exacty been wanting to be found," he muttered
Twilight pulled her brother into an embrace.
"I miss her too," Twilight said tears beginning to form. "She was the closest thing to a sister I had."
"No one can ever replace her. I never forget, Twilight. Never."
"I know," Twilight said breaking the embrace.
"But now we have to go, you'll die of starvation if you stay here, and we can try to do something about it. Alpha Trio said that the dragon who murdered her will probably go to Earth, and we can help the Autobots take it down for good."
The promise of avenging his wife was the one time he smiled that day, but he knew he would probably share the same fate.
On the bright side he would join her in the afterlife, on the downside he would be leaving his family and friends.
Either way he knew he had to come for one particular reason.
Grimlock and his Dinobots had elected to remain on Cybertron in order to protect to remaining Autobots that stayed here, just as they had done in the past.
The ponies stood before the space bridge that would take them to Earth.
Twilight turned to face the new metal friends, it was sad, just when they began to know them, they wanted to spend more time with the aliens they had become attached to.
Twilight and Rainbow Dash both walked up to walked up to Grimlock.
"Well looks like this is goodbye for now," Twilight said.
Grimlock was not one for heartbreaking goodbyes, Shockwave had made that modification to his brain so Grimlock would hold no remorse for killing his enemies.
But Grimlock had somewhat become attached to these ponies, they had shown devotion and resilience, despite the fact they had just begun to know each other, Grimlock did not know why, but he felt he should protect these ponies just as he protected his fellow Dinobots.
Rainbow Dash the flew up to the big robot.
"I don't say this very often...but I think you are one awesome dude."
For some reason Grimlock felt touched by this ponies response, she shared many traits that he liked in her.
And he respected that.
"Well...its been nice knowing you," that was all Grimlock managed to say.
"Okay just don't miss us too much, I don't want a creepy fan chasing after me."
And with that Twilight pulled Rainbow Dash by the tail and rolled her eyes with a soft smile.
Rarity parting ways with tracks was a bit to overdone in a sense.
"Just remeber to wax your hood every now and then darling," Rairty said.
"Yes and you remember to wash that beautiful coat of yours dear," Tracks responded.
Slug and Applejack's goodbyes could have been better.
"You take care of yourself okay Slug."
Slug barly looking said "Yeah I will."
"Okay partner don't be too sad to say goodbye," AJ said with a sly smile.
As Applejack joined the others, Slug look over his shoulder and gave a warm smile.
He hadn't done that in a long time.
Pinkie and Swoop said goodbye in a orderly fashion.
"Don't worry Pinkie just remember to keep on smiling."
"Yeah and you remember to keep on partying!"
The happy duo bumped fists/hooves before going their separate ways.
Fluttershy and Sludge's goodbye was probably the most heart warming.
"OH please Sludge don't go! I don't wanna face that dragon!"
"Fluttershy please, if you stay here you'll starve."
"Well I think I'll manage."
"Listen, when you see that Predacon just face it like you did that dragon one time."
It was a little reassurance, but enough to convince this yellow pegasus.
"Okay I'll try."
Celestia and Luna as well as Alpha Trion and Alchemist Prime wished each other the best of luck.
"Despite our being from difernet worlds Alpha Trion I never knew so many similarities in our histories," Celestia Said.
"Yes its like out worlds are connected, I am proud to call you my friend Celestia."
"And I am glad to have met and have gotten to know you Alchemist Prime."
"Same here Princess Luna."
And with that, the dual founders and Rulers of two civilizations shook extensions and said goodbye.
Finally all the ponies where rounded up and ready to go.
The selected bots and ponies stepped into the activated space bridge, and since this was their first time going through a "space bridge" that was not unstable, they wondered if it would be much better then their last trip through one.
Twilight stepped in, followed by her friends and royalty.
Then when the last pony went through the bridge closed behind them.
Twilight fell face first in the soft green grass that greeted her, after getting up her friends and bot guardians followed suit.
When her vision cleared up Twilight got a bearing of her surroundings.
They where in a lush forest, trees and flora stretched as far as the eye could see.
When he ponies pulled themselves together they got a good look at their surroundings.
"Woah" Rainbow Dash said "there are trees in this place?"
"Well Alpha Trion did say that Earth would resemble Arion in many ways."
"Also it doesn't make you curious that this planet is named "Earth" and their are earth ponies on Equestria?" Rainbow continued
"Well worry about naming coincidences later," Trailcutter said "Right now we go to locate the Autobot base."
"I'll activate my homing beacon, but for now we should get moving."
As the ponies walked along they began to marvel at the similarities that existed on this would and their own, Fluttershy poined out the wildlife that lived here (particually rabits and bears) while Rainbow Dash wondered how the clouds where moving on their own, meanwhile Twilight was trying to devise a theory about how this planet gets its day and night without the help of magic.
The fog was unsettling as we walk to the refugee camp set up by the royal guard, some of us try to ration and find food to provide to the survivors ever since Canterlot was destoyed when that giant metal monster came out from beneath the city itself.
But the Castle and much of the capital was destroyed by those metal machines, so it didn't really affect us that much, at least thats what I feel.
With all of our Princess and Captain Armor gone, Prince Blueblood took leadership of what remained of Equestria while the royal guard second in command Silver Hide took control of the royal guard.
"While we guard were not upset with our new commander, the citizens of Equestria were not to happy with that self absorbed Blueblood leading us all.
To tell you the truth if I was in charge I'd rather try to contact other kingdoms for help instead of hogging all the good food and drink in my royal quarters.

"Shockwave! This is quite an unexpected turn, I though you perished on Cybertron?"
"Yes, yes as did we all?" a very worried Starscream said
"Reports of my demise were greatly premature," Shockwave recounted the story ( at least, the way he remembered it).
"A pair of Autobots infiltrated my facility on Cybertron, sabotaging my space bridge. I gave chase, but failed to calculate the outcome, I awoke in the rubble, blinded, it soon became clear that I was marooned on our dead planet, with no means of communication in time, I resumed my experiments. The solitude allowed me to make tremendous advances in my research, until one day my instruments detected a surge of unidentifiable energy. I went to the source at the edge of the sea of rust, where I encountered your salvage team and the smoldering wreckage of the Omega Lock, leaving one unanswered question."
Celestia looked at the grass plains that outstretched as far as the eye could see, wild life gathered at a lake to drink from it. this planet so very peaceful.
From what she learn from the Autobots, Earth got its day and night through a cycle called "Planetary Rotation" from which all "normal planets got their day and night and that the forces something called the water cycle distributed water throughout the planets life and finally Earth got its season through a year long cycle called "Revolution".
"Now if Arion were more like Earth, that would take A LOT of work of our shoulders" this is what Celestia thought to herself.
Twilight Sparkle wished she had her note pad, much life on this world was very much like to wild life on Arion, from bunnies to bear, and from Eagles to whales, the list went on and on.
Rainbow Dash was trying to figure out why when she tried to sit on Earth clouds she just fell through them like they where thin air, at first she though the clouds on this planet where jacked up, but then she remembered that this was not her home and just enjoyed that fresh oxygen that the trees of this world produced.
Fluttershy was playing with the animals of this world and while she could talked to them these creatures they relied mostly on instinct rather then socializing which gave Fluttershy a clear understanding of the wildlife of this planet: they where more focused on their life then friendship.
And it saddened her.
Rarity was absolutely bored.
Their was nothing to do on this planet, while the scenery was pretty she had nothing to entertain herself for the past few days while her friends enjoyed what this world had offer she slumped all day complaining about how she forgot to pack her eyelash.
"The sooner we get back home, the better," Rarity Mumbled to herself.
Spike was hungry, all he had to eat was fruit and grass scone he came here, but their was not a single gem in sight and now he was too beginning to become bored, the only thing that kept him going was Rarity, his undying love for the unicorn was what kept him going.
"If only I had a plate of baby blue sapphires," he said to himself.
Applejack was more happy then she had been in a while for when they stumbled across an apple tree the farm pony shouted with glee, whether it was pure coincidence that this world had apples didn't matter, they had food.
When night fell Luna's attention turned to this planets full Moon, she envied this world for two reasons, one because this planets Moon was absolutely stunning, and two because it had a moon to admire, while their planets moon was now in pieces and the inhabitants supposedly dead, this did not settle well in Luna's stomach.
"When I get back to Equestria, I shall begin the task of mending OUR Moon."
These what she thought as she fell asleep and began to observe the dreams of humanity.
Trailcutter was at first not to pleased at babysitting a bunch of ponies, but orders where orders, normally he would trek this planets jungles like a badass with his impermeable force field but for now he was content with the task he was given.
Huffer was busy all night fixing his identification beacon to send a signal to the Autobots on this planet, he didn't have time to fix it back on Cybertron, so now was better than later.
"Finally!" Huffer congratulated himself as he got the beacon working again, now every Autobot around the world would receive this signal.
This is Grimlock log report 415, this is day 5 of our retreat to the underground of Cybertron, the Autobots have duly elected me "King" of this makeshift city they, rely upon me to settle their disputes and problems and while most of us where against the idea Alpha Trion had to relaunch the Allspark into space again, claiming it was not "time" for it to return. Sludge goes out daily with his hammer to find beasts that he can drain their energon of and use for fuel and lifeblood.
In other news the city of last Sparks leader Ariwave has refused any interaction with us due to the fact that he didn't accept me as a worthy leader, to the pits with that guy, he can rust for all I care.
Autobots including Jazz and Ironhide have left to the stars in order to find other Autobots out their and bring them home with the message that Cybetrton will be resorted soon.
But given the situation I don't see that happening anytime soon
"We have enough food and supplies t sustain most of Equestria for the following month or two but without the Princess to raise the sun and moon we are stuck in an eternal Sunset not much light, but not much darkness either, recent dragon attacks have done a number on civilians it has been reported that elderly Apple Family died in a recent raid, from what I heard she was one of the ponies who help found Ponyville, I give the family my condolences. While the aliens have left our world with their leaders I am surprised that they have made no demands or ransoms, i just hope that things will change for the better, because so far its all downhill from here.

The Decepticon scientist turned to the surveillance chief.
"Excellent Soundwave. Give me a visual."
hacking into on of Earths satellite, Soundwave projected on screen where the signal was coming from.
If Shockwaves optic could widen, it would have at the sight of not the bots, but the colorful creatures that where with them.
"Soundwave, do me a favor and do not mention this to anyone, I will deal with these Autobots, personally."
