Sonic the Hedgehog and The Mane Six team up against the evil Dr. Eggman in this feature fanfiction
Dr. Eggman has arrived in Equestria and has taken over Canterlot. Ponies are being Roboticized and hope is dimming. The Mane Six team up with Sonic in this fun filled adventure to stop the mad doctor from claiming the power of the Elements of Harmony and conquering all of space and time.

The clouds part over the town of Ponyville, two Pegasi fly through the sky and over Ponyville.
TARA STRONG
Down in the town below, ponies of all types are seen conversing with one another. Socialising with one another and going about their day.
ROGER CRAIG SMITH
The Ponies days are interrupted by a cyan blue Pegasus who flies over them at high speeds over to a nearby cottage. Causing the wind to blow them back a little bit. They shook their heads and went on with their day.
ASHLEIGH BALL
She knocks rapidly on the cottage door. "Come on, come on, COME ON!!!" She stops knocking when a yellow Pegasus with a saddlebag on her back answers the door.
"Oh, hello, Rainbow Dash." Fluttershy greets with a smile on her face.
"Flutters, we have been waiting for thirty minutes!!! The train is about to arrive, what have you been doing?!" Rainbow asks frantically.
COLLEEN O' SHAUGHNESSEY
"Oh, I've just been making sure my animal friends have everything they need while we are away in Canterlot for the week. That, and to set some ground rules for Discord while I'm away." Fluttershy explains.
"Good idea, don't want him causing any chaos while we're gone." Rainbow replies.
TABITHA ST. GERMAIN
"Now let's get going!!! Don't wanna keep her royal highness waiting." Rainbow says with a smirk. Fluttershy giggles and closes her door and follows her friend to the train station.
MIKE POLLOCK
As the two Pegasi fly towards the train station, several ponies wave to them out of kindness and respect. The Cutie Mark Crusaders see the pair and jump up in the air and wave.
"LOOKING AWESOME, RAINBOW DASH!!!" Scootaloo exclaims happily. Rainbow waves down towards her number one fan.
"ALWAYS AM, SQUIRT!!!" Rainbow replies.
ANDREA LIBMAN
The reach the train station and land next to their friends, who send friendly smiles their way.
"Howdy, ya'll!!! Ya made it just in time." Applejack says with a smile.
"And I thought I was the one for dramatic flair. Who knew that it would have been Fluttershy who would show up fashionably late?" Rarity asks rhetorically.
KIRK THORNTON
"OOH, I'M SO EXCITED!!! WHO'S EXCITED? I'M EXCITED!!! I'MGOING TOTHROWAMASSIVEPARTYANDEVERYPONYINCANTERLOTISGOINGTOBETHEREANDTHENEVERYPONYWILLBECELEBRATINGTHESUMMERSUNCELEBRATIONBECAUSETWILIGHTWILLBERAISINGTHESUNINSTEADOFCELESTIAANDIT'SGOINGTOBEFANTASTICORIFICALLYAWESOMEAND-" Pinkie Pie was cut off by a hoof closing her mouth by Applejack.
"Sugarcube, relax. We get it. We're all excited to see Twi raise the sun. We're all mighty happy for her. But ya need to calm down, okay?" Applejack said to her hyper active friend.
"Okie Doki Loki!" Pinkie Pie replied.
CATHY WESELUCK
"Guys, the train for Canterlot is here." Rainbow exclaimed happily. The Friendship Express then pulled up to the station. The doors opened and everypony hopped aboard. The Mane 5 took their seats, except for Pinkie who was bouncing around happily. The whistle blew and the train then departed from the station and made its way to Canterlot.
WALLY WINGERT
The train whistled once again and Pinkie couldn't handle the excitement any longer. She pulled down one of the windows and stuck her head out and yelled, "CANTERLOT, HERE WE COME!!!"
"PINKIE!!! GET YOUR HEAD BACK IN HERE!!!" Rainbow yelled as she pulled Pinkie back into the train.

Meanwhile in Canterlot Castle, Princess Twilight Sparkle, the recently crowned ruler of Equestria, is walking down the hall with her Royal Ambassador, and Number One Assistant, Spike. Spike was holding a very large scroll in his hands and Twilight was listening to Spike as he checked off all the things needed for the Summer Sun Celebration.
"Okay, so the band is currently in practise, the dresses for the celebration are being delivered by Rarity tonight and security has been tripled for the day. Okay, aaaand that about does it!" Spike announced happily.
"Everything is in order for tomorrow?" Twilight asked.
"Yep. So now you can kick back and relax with your friends for the night." Spike replied. Twilight sighed in relief.
"Thanks, Spike. I really need a break. Ever since Celestia and Luna retired as Princesses of Equestria, I've had my work cut out for me. But now with the celebration all put together, I can finally relax and let somepony else worry about everything. And what better way to relax than hanging out with my friends?" Twilight asked.
"Well, there's reading the latest issue of Power Ponies, taking a nice warm bath, and-" Spike was cut off by a deadpanned look from Twilight. "That was rhetorical, wasn't it?"
"Yep."
"I will say this though, Twilight." Twilight raised an eyebrow at that as Spike continued, "I thought you would have pulled your mane out from all the stress already, but ever since that battle with Tirek, Cozy Glow, and Chrysalis, you've mellowed out a bit and been less stressed." Spike pointed out.
"Is that a bad thing?"
"No, I'm just saying that you've come a long way from the anti social bookworm you once were, and I'm proud of you." Spike smiled as he suddenly embraced by Twilight, who returned the kind gesture.
"Thanks, Spike. The truth is that without you or the girls, I wouldn't be where I am today. I owe all of this to you and the girls. Thank you, for being my friend, Spike."
Spike smirked mischievously, "Well, you hatched me, I kinda had to." He then received a smack on the back of the head from Twilight's wing. The two laughed and continued down the hallway.
"Smartalec. Come on, we gotta get to the station to see the girls." Twilight said as they opened the castle doors, causing the sunlight to shine through.
Meanwhile, in another dimension, a fleet of ships fly through space, towards an oddly shaped moon. Only it wasn't a moon at all, it was a battle station. The Death Egg Mark II.
As the fleet of ships drew closer to the Death Egg, the shields around the hangar bays dropped and allowed the ships access to the deadly space station. As the ships landed, The Egg Mobile flew out of the command deck of one of the ships and landed down onto the ground. A group of Egg Pawns made their way over and stood in a straight line and saluted their master, who was exiting the vehicle. The Egg Pawns made way for two hovering robots, one coloured yellow with a head the shape of a cube and one coloured red with a head the shape of an orb. They then stopped in front of their master, who was none other than Dr. Ivo Robotnik, or as he was better known as, Dr. Eggman.
"Welcome, doctor. We've been expecting you. How was the latest plan for global domination?" Orbot asked, although he already knew the answer.
"Grr, that blasted rodent can't go one day without sticking his nose where it doesn't belong!" Eggman replied angrily.
"Yeah, and he gets in your way, too" Cubot added. Eggman and Orbot both face palmed themselves due to the yellow ones stupidity.
"Well it doesn't matter anyway. For that was only to distract the blue nuisance for the time being, while my latest and greatest plan finally comes to fruition!!!" Eggman exclaims proudly. The mad doctor turns to Orbot, "What is the report, Orbot? Is it stable enough to travel through?"
"Well, about that...."
"What? What about what?!"
Orbot then bonks Cubot on the head, causing Cubots eyes to flicker for a second before displaying a projection of what looks to be a tiny rift in space.
"While the Death Egg Mark II has the means to expand the rift, I'm afraid to report that we have picked up a new piece of crucial information."
"And what would that be?" Eggman asked.
"You see, boss. The rift itself is anomaly in the space time continuum, meaning it shouldn't be here at all. Making it highly unstable to travel through. If you were to enter the rift- "
"My molecular structure would deteriorate at an accelerated pace, resulting in my untimely demise." Eggman surmised while cutting off Orbot.
"Precisely. Making travel through the rift, impossible." Orbot concluded.
Eggman then smiled evilly and shook his head. "You underestimate my intelligence, Orbot. I've already thought of that." Eggman said as he walked back to his Egg Mobile. He grabbed a metal briefcase with his insignia on it and walked back to his two lackeys. "To make travel through the rift possible, I'll need something so powerful, that it would have to make me indestructible. And lucky for me, I have just the thing!" Eggman then opened the briefcase, which held seven emeralds, each varying in colour.
"The Chaos Emeralds!!!" Cubot exclaimed.
"How did you manage to get them without Sonic noticing?" Orbot asked.
"You can thank these two for that." Eggman then pointed behind him as two hedgehog like robots landed behind the made doctor.
"Metal Sonic and Mecha Sonic?! How did they manage to find them all?" Orbot asked.
"While I was busy distracting the hedgehog down in the Ice Cap Zone. Metal and Mecha were using their new and improved Emerald Radars to scour the planet for the Emeralds. Now, I have a means to travel through the rift, and conquer whatever is on the other side." Eggman explained.
"Hey, boss. I have a question." Cubot said as he raised his hand.
"What is it, you dumbbot?!"
"Where exactly did this rift come from?" Cubot asked.
"Oh, great. Now he's going to go into a whole rant about how he used his 'genius' to find the rift" Orbot muttered.
Eggman looked puzzled for a moment, "Wow, you asked a genuinely good question. That's a first." Eggman then cleared his throat and began walking out of the hangar. Orbot and Cubot looked at each other before being pushed aside by Metal and Mecha. They recovered and followed their master. A metallic door slid open and they followed their master through a hallway as he explained how he found the rift.
"After my latest setback, I needed time to get back on my feet, to recover. I made my way to one of my old bases, Egg Base 0-1 to be precise. The hedgehog trashed the place, but it was still in working condition believe it or not. Anyway, while I was plotting, my computer picked up an anomaly, but not just one, multiple!!! I examined the anomaly and it somehow had the same energy traces from my time controlling the Time Eater. Meaning someone was messing with time. I had to be sure nothing changed, so in case someone messed with the time stream, I created a code that had all the previous events that had transpired until the moment time was changed engraved within the Egg Net. Just so I know what was different in this new timeline." Eggman explained.
They made their way to an elevator and entered it. Metal pushed the button and the elevator began to go up. Cubot then decided to speak up. "What happened next, boss?"
"I checked to see if anything had changed, but to my surprise, nothing changed. Everything that had happened prior to that moment, happen in the same chronological order without any change. I was stumped, what could have happened. I was interrupted when my computer picked up another anomaly. I checked to see if anything had changed that time, when I discovered nothing had changed, a thought came to mind. What if these anomalies didn't originate from our universe?" Eggman continued his explanation as the elevator doors opened and they all followed him into the command deck.
"What do you mean? Do you think that this rift originated from another universe?" Orbot asked.
"I don't think. I KNOW! It wouldn't be the first time we've dealt with other universes. Anyway, after a few minutes, my satellite picked up an energy surge in the outer reaches of space. I traced the energy surge and found the rift. I then had the brilliant idea to find this rift and see where it leads!!! So now you're all caught up." Eggman said finished his rant.
"Boss, did you ever find out what caused the changes in time?" Orbot asked.
"My best guess is that someone was changing time rapidly and it became too much for reality to handle, causing it to split. But thanks to their inexperience in time travel, I now have the opportunity to expand the Eggman Empire across two universes!!! And that miserable hedgehog will not stop me!!!" Eggman said as he walked over to a machine with places where each of the Emeralds would be placed in. "Orbot, how long until we are ready to depart?"
"We should be ready within the hour, sir."
"He he. Excellent. I will enter this new universe, make them submit to my will, and conquer their world!!! And this time nothing will stop me!!! I know I say that everytime, but this time, really nothing will stop me!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Eggman laughed as the machine began to power up. The eyes of the Death Egg began to light up, they then fired a laser towards the rift, once the laser hit, the rift began to expand large enough for Eggman's army to enter. Unbeknownst to them however, is that a certain blue hedgehog and twin tailed fox are on their way to stop them.
As the Tornado, currently in its Tornado X form, thanks to some modifications made by Tails, flew towards the Death Egg Mark II, Sonic and his twin tailed best friend Tails were going over why they were in space in the first place.
"So, Tails? Why exactly are we here? I mean, we already kicked EggHeads butt into next week back in Ice Cap Zone. So what's the big deal?" Sonic asked while tapping his foot on the wing he was standing on. Tails sighed and shook his head.
"Sonic, weren't you listening when I explained the situation back home?" Tails asked slightly annoyed.
"Bud, I was busy thinking about all the running I could be doing, and Chilli Dogs."
"Okay, let's go over this one more time. I picked up a strange energy reading up in the outer reaches of space. What perplexed me was the similarities between this energy reading, and the energy readings I picked up when we fought Eggman and his Time Eater." Tails explained.
"So, you think EggHead's messing with time again?"
"It's a very real possibility." Tails replied.
Sonic sighed and shook his head, "Seriously, can we go one week where we don't have to deal with someone messing with time, or someone messing with other universes? I mean, I enjoy this kinda stuff, but it can seriously get old real fast."
"I agree, but if that is the case, then I guess we now know what Eggman's real intentions were."
"Yeah, I found it odd too that he was trying to melt the entirety of Ice Cap Zone to supposedly 'flood' the world. Here I thought that his old age was finally catching up with him, not that it hasn't already, ha ha, I mean, have you seen Baldy McNosehair?" Sonic laughed alongside his best friend.
The laughter was cut short when Tails got an alert on his dashboard. He tapped the screen and saw that seven familiar energy readings were close by.
"What is it, Tails?"
"T...the Chaos Emeralds!!! Their nearby!!!" Tails exclaimed.
"How many?" Sonic asked.
"All seven of them."
"Seriously?! Whatever, we'll get 'em back while we crack that EggHead wide open!" Sonic exclaimed.
As the Death Egg Mark II came into view, they saw the galactic battle station fire a laser into what looked like empty space, they were quickly proven wrong as a massive rift expanded were the supposedly empty space used to be.
"Sonic, look!!!" Tails pointed out.
Sonic smirked and crouched down onto the wing, "Looks like EggHead has started the party without us!" Suddenly, an army of flying Badniks shot out from various areas from within the Death Egg. "look at that, Eggman sent the welcoming committee!!" Sonic then curled up and shot right off the wing and spin dashed multiple badniks. He landed on the back of a flying turtle badnik and jumped off and roundhouse kicked a wasp badnik into another, resulting in an explosion that destroyed the two. One badnik fired multiple missiles at the speedy hedgehog, Sonic just smirked and landed on the missiles as they passed one another, he then leaped off the missile he was standing on and kicked the final missile back towards the badnik. The resulting explosion sent Sonic back and if it wasn't for Tails, he would have been floating in space hadn't he landed back on the wing of the Tornado. Sonic smirked as he crossed his arms. He looked back towards his best friend, "Tails, could you take down those shields?"
"You got it!!!" Tails said as he switched the Tornado into auto pilot and pulled out his Miles Electric. He easily got into the EggNet and disabled the shields with no problem.
Sonic smirked and gave Tails a thumbs up. "Nice going, bud."
Tails replied with a thumbs up of his own and they made their way into the hangar bay.

Meanwhile in the Death Egg, Eggman slammed his fists down on a computer console in a fit of rage. After he was done with that, he walked over to Cubot and punted him across the room. "WHY?! WHY MUST THAT ANNOYING BLUE HEDGEHOG ALWAYS INTERFERE WITH MY MASTER PLANS?!" Eggman screamed in rage. He then turned to Orbot, "How long until the Death Egg enters the rift?"
"I estimate we should be fully inside the rift in 10 minutes, sir."
"Grr, Sonic could ruin everything in that amount of time!!!" Eggman exclaimed.
Mecha and Metal began walking out of the command deck and were about to intercept the blue blur but were stopped by Eggman, "No, you two go on ahead and enter the rift. But before you do." Eggman then walked over to where the Emeralds were placed and flicked a switch, a laser gun rose up from the floor and fired a green beam at the robotic hedgehogs. Their eyes flashed green for a moment before the beam ceased. Eggman then walked over to them, "I've temporarily given you enough of the Emeralds power so that you are able to pass through the rift unscaved. Your assignment is to learn everything you can about that dimension before my arrival. Is that understood?" The two robots nodded and flew out of the command deck. Eggman then began walking out of the room.
"Boss, where are you going?" Orbot asked.
Eggman turned his head and faced his two lackeys.
"I'm going to make sure that hedgehog doesn't ruin everything." Eggman said as he left the room.
Back in Canterlot, The Friendship Express has just arrived at the station where Spike and Twilight are waiting for them. The Mane 5 hop off the train and immediately spot Twilight and Spike. Before either one of them can get a word in, they are tackled to the ground by their friends. They each have tears in their eyes and are laughing happily.
"It's great to see you girls, but could you get off me?" Twilight asked.
They obliged and got off of her. They all then began walking and talking.
"So, what's it like being princess?" Rainbow asked.
"It's actually not as stressful as I thought, it can actually be kinda fun." Twilight replied.
"Shucks, sugarcube, I bet the food is nice." Applejack inputted.
"Not as good as the apples from Sweet Apple Acres." Twilight replied with a giggle.
"Twilight, I am happy to report that all the dresses have been made for tomorrow's celebration." Rarity said.
"Great! Where are they?"
"In my suitcase." Rarity replied.
"Thanks, Rarity. Honestly I couldn't have asked for anypony else for this task." Twilight complimented.
"You flatter me, darling."
"So, um, Twilight. Are you nervous about tomorrow?" Fluttershy asked.
Twilight arched a brow in confusion, "What do you mean?"
It was then Pinkie bounced in front of her and got in her face. "Oh you know, the fact that AAAALLLLL the attention will be on you and that this moment will forever cement how you raise the sun and moon in the eyes of your subjects and if you mess it up then the embarrassment will be unbearable and you'll probably become a party pooper for the remainder of the week. But that won't happen so don't worry about it." It was then that Twilight's eyes became pinpricks and she started to hyperventilate.
Spike pinched the brink of his nose and shook his head, "So much for a stress free week."
Rainbow then put her arm around Twilight, "Come on, Twi, you'll be fine. In fact, you'll make this celebration 20% cooler than it already was. So don't worry, EggHead."
Twilight then began to calm down, "You're right, come on. Let's have a good old fashioned Pinkie Pie Party!!!"
Pinkie then screamed in happiness and bounced ahead of the group while the rest continued to walk to Canterlot Castle.
Back in the Death Egg Mark II, Sonic and Tails have landed in the hangar bay. Several Egg Pawns tried to stop the landing, but Sonic quickly dealt with them with multiple Homing Attacks. Tails stepped out of the Tornado and walked over to Sonic with his handheld in hand.
"Sonic, I'm getting some strange energy readings from the command deck. I'm going to investigate, what will you do?" Tails asked.
Before Sonic could answer, Eggman's voice came over the P.A. System. "Sonic will be facing his long overdue defeat is what he'll be doing!!!" Suddenly, a door to their left opened up, "My face will be the last thing he'll see, before I close his eyes forever!!! HO HO HO HO HO HO!!!" Eggman laughed over the intercom.
Sonic stretched his legs before looking over to Tails. "Well I guess that answered your question, bud."
"Be careful, Sonic." Tails said worryingly.
"Don't worry. After all, what could possibly go wrong?" Sonic then dashed off into the hallway while Tails went for the command deck.

Sonic dashed through the hallway and ended up in a massive battle chamber. He looked around for a moment before whistling, "Wow, I don't like the looks off this battle chamber."
Suddenly the floor began to split apart and Sonic took a step back. From beneath the floor, The Big Arms rose up with Eggman in the cockpit. The floor closed and the mech bashed its fists together as Eggman laughed.
"PREPARE TO BE SQUASHED!!!" Eggman yelled.
The mech smashed its fist to the floor in an attempt to hit Sonic, but Sonic leaped out of the way in the nick of time. As Sonic leapt onto a nearby wall, he then dashed back towards the mech curled up in a spin attack. As he was nearing the cockpit, the mech swiped its arm and knocked Sonic into a nearby wall, indenting it. As Sonic shook his head, he saw The Big Arms approaching, reeling back a fist. Sonic quickly jumped out of the wall and jumped over the fist and used a Homing Attack to hit the cockpit, damaging it.
"YOU LITTLE..."
As Sonic landed, the mech turned around fired missiles from the rocket launchers on its back, surprising Sonic.
"Since when could The Big Arms do that?!" Sonic exclaimed as he ran in an attempt to dodge the missiles.
"Since I upgraded this fine piece of machinery. NOW HOLD STILL!!!" Eggman yelled as he fired more missiles.
Sonic ran up the walls as the missiles caused explosions where they impacted. Sonic then jumped off the wall and tried to hit the cockpit again, but Eggman saw this coming and grabbed the hedgehog with one of the mechs arms. He then began to squeeze the hedgehog and pulled him closer to the cockpit.
"HA! I GOT YOU!!!" Eggman yells.
He then slams Sonic to the floor and reels back a fist to try and crush the hedgehog. Sonic quickly regained consciousness and rolled out of the way before the fist hit the floor. Eggman growled in anger as he moved closer to Sonic and smashed another fist to the floor, but Sonic dodged the attack and used another Homing Attack to hit the cockpit, angering the mad doctor even further.
"GRR!!! STOP. THAT!!!" Eggman yelled in anger.
"Aww, is EggHead getting cwanky?" Sonic mocked.
Eggman then raised the left arm of the mech and fired a rocket fist towards the hedgehog. Sonic's eyes widened as he ran forward and jumped over the fist and went for another attack on the cockpit. But Eggman sucker punched the hedgehog, causing Sonic to tumble to the ground. "Ow, that hurt a little." Eggman called the fist back and fired more rockets at Sonic. As the rockets made their way over, Sonic smirked and ran forward, dodging left and right as the missiles continued to miss.
"GRR, WHY. WON'T. YOU. DIE?!!!!" Eggman yelled in fury.
Sonic then curled into a ball and knocked the last missile directly back to The Big Arms, causing it to be knocked into a wall. Sonic landed and bowed, angering Eggman even further. The mech got out of the wall and charged forward.
"YOU'RE MINE, HEDGEHOG!!!" Eggman yelled as he charged forward.
Sonic smirked as he ran forward. The Big Arms reeled back a fist and Sonic leaped into the air and curled into a ball. The fist missed by just an inch and Sonic used a Homing Attack to plow right through the cockpit and land on the other side of the mech. The mech began to explode as Eggman's Egg Mobile hovered out of the now destroyed mech.
"I'LL GET YOU YET, HEDGEHOG!!!" Eggman yelled as the mech finally exploded and landed onto the floor in a heap of rubble.
As Eggman flew away, the room then began to shake, "Woah, what was that about?" Sonic asked to no one in particular.
Suddenly, Tails spoke through Sonic's earpiece, "Sonic, I found out what Eggman plans to do with the Emeralds. And I can't stop it!!! We're about to enter the rift!!! HOLD ON TO SOMETHING!!!" Tails shouted in urgency.
The Death Egg Mark II then began to enter the rift, Eggman saw this from a small screen in his Egg Mobile and laughed maniacally. "BWHAHAHAHAHA!!! TOO LATE, HEDGEHOG!!!"
The Death Egg then entered the rift and made its way towards the location on the other side. Equestria.

Meanwhile, in Canterlot. The girls and Spike have just made their way to the castle doors. But while they are enjoying themselves, they fail to notice two metallic hedgehogs on a nearby building staring right at them.
"DESIGNATED ASSIGNMENT: GATHER INFORMATION BEFORE THE DOCTOR'S ARRIVAL." Mecha Sonic stated.
Metal then stepped forward, "COMMENCING ASSIGNMENT IN 3, 2, 1."
A massive rift tore open in the skies of Equis, through the rift a giant metallic moon entered through. The Death Egg Mark II has entered Equestria. Inside the battlestation, Sonic stumbles to his feet and looks around. He touches his earpiece and tries to communicate with Tails. "Tails? Bud, you there?"
"Yeah, I'm here. You okay, Sonic?"
"I'm okay, pal. You have any idea what just happened?" Sonic asked his friend.
"When I first discovered the anomaly, I thought it was something related to time. I am correct in that assumption, but the relation is not what I had hypothesised." Tails replied while Sonic scratched his ear in confusion. Tails continued, "I thought that going through the rift would send us through time, but now thanks to the new data I have, I now know that instead of going through time, we have traveled to another universe."
"Okay, and how does messing with time factor into it?"
"I believe that whatever caused the rift in the first place was a result of someone messing with time and it became to much for reality to handle." Tails finished. Sonic was about to say something but was interrupted by a blaring alarm. He looked around for a moment as the room flashed red.
"Tails, I guess we'll have to figure out where we are later, right now we gotta get outta here! Meet up back at the Tornado!" Sonic said as he dashed out of the battle chamber.
As Sonic dashed through the hallways of the Death Egg Mark II, several enemies fired at the speedy blue blur. Sonic leaped from wall to wall dodging the blasts and landed back onto the ground. He then boost through a horde of enemies, destroying them on impact. As he made his way through, the doors leading to the hangar bay began to close. Sonic then boosted forward and slid under the doors as they closed. He made one final push towards the hangar bay and reached the Tornado, where Tails was waiting for him.
"Alright, Tails. Let's get outta here." Sonic said to his best friend.
The pair then hopped into the Tornado just as a bunch of Badniks entered the hangar and started firing on the Tornado just as it began to take off. The Tornado then flew out of the hangar bay but before they could escape completely, a Badnik shot at the wing and hit it. Alarms began blaring in the Tornado as they began plummeting to the ground. Sonic held onto the wing for dear life as they drew closer to the ground. "HOLD ON!!!" Tails shouted as they crashed onto the ground, knocking them unconscious.
A few hours later, Sonic stirred awake and slowly opened up his eyes. He sat up and rubbed his forehead with his hand and shook his head. He looked over and saw Tails unconscious, his eyes widened as he rushed over to his best friend's side and shook him. "Tails? Are you okay? TAILS!!!" Tails' eyes stirred open and saw Sonic with a worried expression on his face.
"Sonic? Where are we?" Tails asked groggily.
"Hey, bud. Glad you're okay. And to be honest, I have no clue. I don't even know where the plane is." Sonic replied as Tails sat up. Tails gave a deadpanned look and pointed behind him. Sonic arched an eyebrow and turned around to see the plane badly damaged. "To be fair, I was more concerned about your wellbeing, okay."
Tails chuckled and got up to his feet, "Thank you for your concern." Sonic got up as well and they both walked towards the plane. The plane wasn't damaged too badly, but it would take some time to repair.
"Well, guess we're not going anywhere for a little while." Sonic said as he kicked the plane.
"Can you not kick my plane please?"
"Sorry."
Tails walked over to the pilot seat and picked up a toolbox that was on the floor. He then walked to the side of the plane and opened a hidden panel. After he surveyed the damage, he sighed and turned to Sonic.
"It's probably gonna take me a few hours to get the plane working again." Tails explained.
"And Eggman can do a lot of damage in a few hours." Sonic replied.
Sonic then got an idea, "Tails, while you fix the Tornado, how about if I go for a run a get a lay of the land. You know, look for hidden dangers. And, y'know, stretch my legs."
Tails deadpanned, "You've been watching too many Sci-Fi movies, but I get your point. Try and learn as much as you can about this place and what Eggman would want with it."
Sonic gave him a wink and a thumbs up, "You got it, pal." Sonic then crouched down into a starting position, "I'll be back as soon as I can." Sonic then dashed off into the distance while Tails got to working on his plane.
Meanwhile, in Canterlot Castle, The Mane 6 were eating in the dining hall.
"So, how are things in Ponyville?" Twilight asked.
"Well, things have been ah mighty quiet without you, Twi." Applejack replied.
"Business at Sugarcube corner has been fantastic!!! Plus, since I'm not going on as many adventures as I used to, The Cakes can look after their twins while still making Bits thanks to me being there full time!!!" Pinkie exclaimed happily.
"Things have been marvelous at the Boutique, darling. I've been getting orders from all over Equestria and let me tell you, I'm enjoying every second of it." Rarity inputted.
"Well, Discord and I have just been taking care of my animal friends and drinking tea. Been making sure he hasn't been causing too much chaos." Fluttershy said.
"Well, besides being a full pledge Wonderbolt, I've been hanging out with Scootaloo a lot. So, things have been pretty quiet for me as well." Rainbow said.
"What about you, darling? What's it like being the Princess of Equestria?" Rarity asked.
"Well, aside from the flank loads of paperwork and documents, all the meetings and courts I have to attend, and not to mention keeping peace between all the countries and Equestria, things have been pretty calm. All that's left is to raise the sun early tomorrow morning." Twilight explained.
"Twilight, didn't Celestia and Luna say that when they retired, that there would be no more Summer Sun Celebrations?" Pinkie asked.
"Pinkie, I already explained that in the letter I sent all of you. But if you must know, since this will be the first time as a princess that I will be raising the sun and moon, I wanted to officially end the Summer Sun Celebration with my raising of the sun, to, y'know, signal the start of a new era in Equestria. And Celestia and Luna thought it was a great idea and a great sentiment." Twilight explained.
"Oh, okay. I was just wondering so that we could actually explain it to the viewers, or readers if you want to get technical." Pinkie replied.
Everyone tilted their heads in confusion but just shrugged in response.
Meanwhile, in the Canterlot Archives, Metal and Mecha Sonic have snuck in and are currently walking around, looking for anything of use. Mecha's visor glows red and he walks over to one side of the archives and begins to scan everything, processing the information in the various manuscripts and books into his system so he could give it to Eggman. Metal began to scan the other side of the archives, also processing any valuable information to give to his master. Once their scans were completed they began to walk out, Mecha then turned to Metal.
"DESIGNATED MODEL: METAL SONIC MODEL 1993. MY OBJECTIVE IS COMPLETED. THIS UNIT IS RETURNING TO THE DEATH EGG MARK II. WHAT IS YOUR OBJECTIVE AT THIS TIME?" Mecha Sonic asked.
Metal turned around and face his partner, "DESIGNATED MODEL: MECHA SONIC MODEL 1994. MY PRIMARY OBJECTIVE, IS TO DESTROY ALL OPPOSING FORCES FOR THE EGGMAN EMPIRE. STARTING WITH THE MEATBAG NAMED PRINCESS TWILIGHT SPARKLE" Metal' eyes glowed a viscous red. Mecha Sonic nodded and flew out of the archives while Metal walked into the shadows.
Meanwhile back in the Death Egg, Eggman was laughing to his victory over Sonic.
"I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!! Not only did I manage to make it through the rift, but that meddlesome hedgehog has finally kicked the bucket!!! Now nothing can stop me!!! HO HO HO HO HO HO!!!" Eggman laughed in victory.
Orbot and Cubot just shook their heads.
"Uh, he does know Sonic has survived worse, right?" Cubot asked his friend.
"I think he does, but I think he is in denial." Orbot replied.
Eggman then turned to the two dumbbots and glared at them, "SHUT UP AND LET ME HAVE THIS!!! A MAN CAN HOPE!!!"
Suddenly, Mecha Sonic walked into the command deck and bowed to his creator.
"Ah, Mecha Sonic. Did you gather the information I required?" Eggman asked. Mecha Sonic stood up and walked over to the computer console and place his hand over it. His fingertips opened up and small tentacles containing the information he stole slid into tiny holes in the computer. His visor then glowed green as the information was being placed into the EggNet. Eggman walked over to his console and began reading the information that was being displayed to him. Eggman smiled as a certain piece of information caught his eye, "The Elements of Harmony? Now you've peaked my interest."

A few hours later, it was time to finally raise the sun. Twilight and her friends walked through the throne room and made their way to the balcony. Twilight looked nervous, she didn't want to mess this up. She then felt a hoof being placed on her shoulder. She turned to see Pinkie, who was giving her a kind smile.
"Don't worry, Twilight. After you raise the sun, we'll have a massive party to celebrate just how fantastic you were. You'll be great!!!" Pinkie said.
"She's right, sugarcube. Relax and you'll be fine." Applejack said, giving Twilight the boost she needed.
She turned around and hugged her friends. She let go and smiled, "Thanks girls. Without you, I'd be a total wreck."
"When aren't you a total wreck?" Rainbow muttered, to which she got a hoof to the ribs by Applejack. Twilight sighed and walked out onto the balcony.
"Let's do this." Twilight muttered as she stood to the edge of the balcony. Her horn began to ignite in a violet aura as she focused her magic. She put her all into it, until finally, the sun was raised. She looked and saw it, it was beautiful. She sighed in relief and then smiled proudly as the band below began to play. With the trumpets blaring and the ponies cheering, she felt proud of her accomplishments.
The rest of the girls walked out onto the balcony and hugged her, but Rainbow quickly left the embrace and noticed something in the distance. "Hey, what's that?"
The girls walked over to where Rainbow was standing and saw something in the distance. Twilight squinted her eyes, it looked like it was coming right for them. Her eyes widened as Metal Sonic charged right towards her.
The Mane 6 gasped as Metal began to squeeze Twilight's neck. Metal then threw her to the floor and began to charge up his chest blast. He was interrupted by Rainbow Dash as she slammed him right into a wall. Metal recovered and readied his claws. Metal and Rainbow charged at one another and met in the middle, Metal had a grasp on Rainbow's hooves as the two struggled to overcome one another. Rainbow clenched her teeth and furrowed her brow, she had a look of determination on her face as she tried to overpower the metal menace. Her eyes widened as she quickly glanced to Metal's chest and saw it began to glow. She was then blasted across the room by Metal's chest blast and hit the wall and landed on the ground. As she struggled to get up, Metal walked over menacingly towards her.
"OBSERVATION: YOU DELAY THE INEVITABLE, EQUINE MEATBAG." Metal said coldly.
Metal then flew over to Rainbow and kicked her in the chest, sending her flying through the wall and into the air outside. As she recovered, Metal dashed forward and kneed her in the chest and karate chopped her neck, sending her crashing down below. Rainbow shook her head and flew back up and Metal flew down towards her. Metal went to punch her head, but she ducked out of the way and hit him in the chest. She went for another hit but he caught her hoof in his hand and punched her right in the face, sending her flying through the air. Rainbow shook her head and smirked at the robot.
"Is that all you got?" Rainbow said confidently.
Metal then dashed forward towards the rainbow maned pegasus. Rainbow then flew away, causing Metal to give chase. As the pair flew in the air, Rainbow looked back and to her surprise, Metal was catching up to her. Her eyes widened as Metal flew right past her and did a quick U-turn and close lined Rainbow Dash, causing her to lose control and be sent crashing into the street below, digging a trench as she slid across the street. As she tried to get up, Metal landed right on top of Rainbow with both feet. Metal then reached down towards her and grabbed her by the neck. His eyes then glowed as he punched Rainbow right in the face and sent her crashing into a nearby house. Metal then began to walk towards where Rainbow landed.
"STATEMENT: YOU HAVE LOST THIS ENCOUNTER, EQUINE." Metal said coldly.
Suddenly, he was tackled by Rainbow and they both crashed into multiple houses as they flew. Rainbow kept punching Metal Sonic in the face as they continued to cause destruction in their wake. Metal then fired a chest blast at Rainbow, which sent her flying into the air. Before she had time to recover, she was then punched in the gut by Metal, he then grabbed her forearm and began to swing in a circular motion before letting Rainbow go, sending her crashing onto the ground, creating a crater where she landed. Metal then began to charge another chest blast, his eyes glowed as he glared at the Rainbow maned pegasus.
"STATEMENT: DIE!!!" Metal shouted before firing the blast towards the crater. Rainbow quickly came back to her senses and saw the beam heading right towards her. She then quickly flew up and avoided the fatal blast, which caused a massive explosion in its wake.
"Let's see what else you got, you tin can!!!" Rainbow shouted.
The pair then flew towards each other and exchanged blows with one another. The ponies down below began to evacuate the area, not wanting to be caught between the battle. Rainbow punched Metal in the face, to which he replied with a kick to the gut, Rainbow bent over in pain, giving Metal the opportunity to get behind her and kick her right in the back, sending her crashing down to the ground. As the smoke began to clear, Metal saw Rainbow trying to crawl away. Metal then landed right in front of her and glared at the pegasus. He raised his hand and reading his claw like fingers and prepared to finish her off.
"QUESTION: DO YOU NOW SEE HOW OUTMATCHED YOU TRULY ARE?" Metal said.
Metal would have ended the battle right then and there, but a rope tied itself around his wrist, preventing his finishing blow.
Metal turned around and saw the rest of the Mane 6 standing there, ready to back up their friend. Applejack kept a firm grip on the robotic menace.
"Ya better leave our friend alone, you varmint!!!" Applejack yelled.
Metal then pulled onto the rope and in doing so, pulled Applejack towards him. He then grabbed her by the neck and slammed her to the ground. He then prepared to stomp on her but was hit by a magic blast by Twilight. She then tackled him to the ground and tried to restrain him.
"Why are you doing this?!"
Metal responded by firing his chest laser at the alicorn, sending her into the air. As he flew up, he noticed something heavy on his back. Pinkie then got in his face and slammed a cupcake onto his visor, blinding him, but not for long. He then reached behind him and grabbed Pinkie by the neck and threw her down to the ground. He then wiped the cupcake off of his visor. He then landed back onto the ground and dashed towards Rarity, who placed up a magic shield to protect herself, but it instantly broke when Metal punched it, which sent Rarity sliding on the road. She then fired a magic blast, but Metal activated his jet booster on his back and slid out of the way and then charged forward at Rarity and grabbed her by the neck. He then raised her into the air and began to squeeze. He would have finished her off if it hadn't been fir a certain yellow pegasus.
"HOW DARE YOU?!"
Metal turned around and saw Fluttershy with an angry look on her face. He dropped Rarity and began to walk towards her.
"YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!! APOLOGISE FOR HURTING MY FRIENDS!!!" Fluttershy then began to stare into Metal's visor. She expected him to feel bad, but to her surprise, he seized her by the neck and slammed her down on the ground. What she didn't count on was the fact that Metal was a robot and didn't feel emotions. Metal reached down for her again but suddenly, Applejack's rope wrapped around his neck and he was swung into a nearby building. Metal then flew out of the rubble and tried to slice Applejack with his claws, but she ducked underneath it and prepare to buck him. Metal saw this and activated his Black Shield. Applejack bucked the shield and then screamed in pain and fell to the floor. Metal then deactivated the shield and prepared to fire at the cowpony, but he was blasted by Twilight in the back. Metal turned around and saw her with an angry look on her face.
"YOU WILL NOT HURT. MY. FRIENDS!!!" Twilight yelled in anger.
Twilight then flew up and Metal followed. Twilight fired multiple magic blasts and Metal fired multiple chest blasts. They both used their flying acrobatics to dodge the attacks, causing explosions down on the ground below.

Meanwhile, Sonic was running just outside of Canterlot. His ears suddenly twitched and he turned to the cause of the noise. It sounded like explosions. He ran a little closer and saw a familiar looking robot fight an alicorn. Sonic smirked and ran to intervene.
Twilight then crashed onto the ground and groaned in pain. She then tried to get up but Metal stomped his foot on her chest. He glared at the alicorn and prepared to finish her off.
"STATEMENT: PREPARE FOR TERMINATION." Metal said as his chest began to glow. Twilight closed her eyes and braced herself.
Metal was about to fire, when suddenly he was sent flying down the street by a Homing Attack.
Twilight opened her eyes and saw a blue hedgehog standing over her, looking at Metal with a confident smirk on his face.
"Long time no see, Metal. Still as ugly as ever I see." Sonic said to his metal duplicate.
Metal clenched his fist and charged forward towards his loathsome copy, Sonic then dashed forward and jumped over Metal. He then turned around and hit him with another Homing Attack, sending him tumbling down the road. The Mane 6 looked in awe of this mysterious hedgehog. By the look of it, he was just as fast as Dash, maybe faster. Metal then fired a beam from his chest, Sonic ran forward and moved to the left to avoid the blast. Metal fired another one, which Sonic avoided by leaping into the air and curled into a ball and hit Metal right in the chest, sending him through multiple buildings.

Sonic looked and saw the Mane 6 with their jaws dropped. He chuckled and ran over to the group.
"You guys, okay?" Sonic asked kindly.
Before anyone could answer, Rainbow dashed up to him and screamed, "THAT. WAS. AWESOME!!!"
"Well, I don't like to brag, but, yeah it was." Sonic replied.
Twilight then smiled kindly and walked forward towards the blue hedgehog. "Thank you for saving us from that... thing. I'm the Princess of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle. These are my friends. Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Spike."
Applejack tilted her hat as a kind gesture while the others waved, "Nice to meet you, I'm Sonic. Sonic the hedgehog."
Pinkie then began running around in circles, "OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH!!! A NEW FRIEND, I HAVE TO THROW YOU A 'THANK-YOU-FOR-SAVING-US' PARTY PRONTO!!!"
Before Sonic could reply, a shadow began to loom over Canterlot. Sonic looked up and his eyes widened as he saw a certain battle station with a fleet of ships in the sky. The Death Egg Mark II and the Egg Fleet have arrived in Canterlot.
He then saw a familiar egg shaped doctor fly down in his Egg Mobile.
"HO HO HO HO HO HO HO!!! Citizens of Canterlot!!! I am Doctor. Ivo Robotnik!!! And by orders of the Eggman Empire, I hereby declare that this city is under my rule!!! And there is nothing that you can do about it!!! Surrender peacefully, and I might not Roboticize you!!!" Eggman announced.
Sonic cleared his throat and Eggman looked to the source of the noise and saw his arch nemesis standing there with his arms crossed.
"Sup, Eggman?" Sonic said, which caused Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie to burst out laughing at the name while Eggman's arms simply dropped to the sides and he sighed as he brought his hand and slid it down his face.
"Y'know, I had hoped. I had seriously hoped that you and that twin tailed freak had perished in that plane crash, I really did. But no~ You had to survive, didn't you? It's like the universe hates me!!!" Eggman shouted.
"Aw, come on, Baldy McNosehair, you know you can't get rid of me that easily." Sonic said as Rainbow and Pinkie wheezed.
"Grr, well it doesn't matter!!! My latest plan will not fail and this dimension will be under my rule!!! And you can't do a thing to stop me!!!" Eggman declared.
Twilight then stepped forward and glared at the mad doctor, who looked confused at the pony, "I am the Princess of Equestria, and I demand that you cease this attack this instant."
Eggman looked puzzled for a moment before bursting out into laughter. He held his sides as he continued to laugh, Sonic rolled his eyes while Twilight's brow furrowed.
"Hahahahahaha. Wait, wait, wait!!! You think that you, a mere pony, can order me around?! Hahahahahahaha. That's hilarious. Please, humour me. What are you gonna do to stop me?" Eggman asked.
"I'm going to seal you in stone with magic if you don't cut it out." Twilight declared.
"Magic? HA! Magic is just science that hasn't been discovered yet. You're not going to do squat!!!" Eggman declared.
"Watch how you talk to her, Eggface!!! I think you need to see that she isn't alone." Rainbow Dash said.
"Yeah, she's got us!" Pinkie said as the rest of the Mane 6 stood beside Twilight.
"The day I get beaten by Ponies is the day that I retire." Eggman said.
"Seems like this is over before it's even begun, EggHead." Sonic said confidently.
"DON'T BE SO SURE!!!" Eggman yelled as Metal shot up from the rubble. Suddenly, the ships began firing upon Canterlot, Badniks and Egg Pawns dropped down from the Egg Fleet and started attacking the city.
Everyone gasped at the destruction while Eggman laughed maniacally. Sonic clenched his fist and grinded his teeth.
"Oh, Sonic~ Don't forget, I still have the Emeralds, so, no Super Form for you this time!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Eggman gloated.
Sonic then turned to the Mane 6, "Girls, I"ll handle Metal, do you think you could help out the civilians?"
Twilight nodded and turned to the girls, "Let's go, girls!!!" They all rushed off to do their assignments.
Sonic dashed towards Metal and they interlocked hands and struggled to overpower one another. Sonic then fell on his back, causing Metal to bend over, giving Sonic the chance to kick him in the chest and get him off of him. Sonic then dashed down the street and Metal flew in pursuit.
Meanwhile, a group of Egg Pawns were approaching a group of civilians and were aiming their blasters at the group. It wasn't until Rainbow Dash destroyed them all by plowing through them at high speeds that the civilians were safe. While Rainbow wasn't looking, she was shot in the back by a wasp Badnik. She fell to the ground and turned her head to glare at the Badnik.
"Cheap shot."
Rainbow then flew up and destroyed the Badnik. Meanwhile, Pinkie, Spike, and Fluttershy were being surrounded by a horde of Badniks and Egg Pawns. Fluttershy and Spike cowered behind Pinkie, who pulled out her Party Cannon and fired a massive cake, covering the robots and sinking into their circuitry, disabling them.
"That's what you get, you meanies!!!" Pinkie shouted.
Applejack was busy bucking every Badnik or Egg Pawn that came near her. She then threw her rope around an Egg Pawn and spun it around, knocking down every robot it hit. She then let go of the Egg Pawn and he was sent flying into a wasp Badnik.
"Thanks for the ride, partner." Applejack said.
Rarity and Twilight were firing magic blasts at any robot they saw. But no matter how many they blew up, more just seemed to take their place. Twilight released a burst of magic that wiped out the whole group. The pair smirked at each other before running of to meet with their friends.
"Nice job, darling." Rarity complimented.
"Thanks, Rarity." Twilight replied with a smile on her face.
The Mane 6 regrouped in the centre of Canterlot before they were surrounded by a horde of robots.

But before they could react, a red ball of energy struck the ground and the six ponies were separated. They then saw something land in the middle of them. They looked and saw Mecha Sonic walking out of the smoke.
Sonic raced down the street with Metal in hot pursuit, firing lasers at the blue blur, who just swayed left and right to avoid the blasts. Sonic then turned his head and rasp berried the metal duplicate. Metal charged forward and slashed at the hedgehog, who just slid under his robotic duplicate and let him pass him. Sonic took this opportunity to use a Homing Attack and hit Metal, causing him to roll and tumble down the road, allowing Sonic to pass.
"So long, loser!" Sonic mocked as Metal got back up and charged forward. "Uh, oh."
Metal flew ahead and fired a laser from his chest, breaking it apart as the laser tore through the road. Sonic then leaped out of the way and jumped onto the buildings on the side of the road and ran on their roofs. Metal saw this and fired another chest laser, causing Sonic to jump over the beam and slide to a stop on a rooftop. Sonic then leaped off the building and tackled Metal to the ground and began pounding his face in. Metal caught his fist and punched him off of him. Sonic recovered and dashed down the road, causing Metal to give chase.
"STATEMENT: I HAVE YOU NOW, MY LOATHSOME COPY." Metal said as yellow electricity began to surround him.
Sonic knew what this meant, he was going into Maximum Overdrive. Metal began to spin and shot forward and tried to hit the hedgehog. Sonic just curled into a ball and jumped over Metal, once he had to cool off, Sonic took this opportunity to spin dash his back thruster, causing Metal to stumble and roll back down the road. Metal grew furious and dashed forward and tried to tackle Sonic, but he simply moved to the side and let Metal pass him. Metal turned around and charged at Sonic, who responded by racing forward and curling into a ball and using a Homing Attack to hit Metal in the chest and send him flying into a nearby building.
"And he's outta here!" Sonic shouted as he dusted himself off. He looked to the sky and saw that it had darkened thanks to the smoke from all the damage from Eggman's forces. He then ran off to find the girls and Spike.
Mecha Sonic glared at the Mane 6 and they glared back. His hand then turned into a gatling gun and he began firing at the group, causing them to split up. Rainbow flew towards Mecha, who simply flew above her and then flew back down and stomped on her back as she was passing under him.
"RAINBOW!!!" Twilight shouted.
Mecha chuckled and dashed towards the princess and punched her in the face before she could teleport away. She was sent tumbling down the road and she skidded to a stop. Spike used his fire breath but it had no effect. Mecha turned around and punted him away. Pinkie threw multiple cupcakes at the mechanical menace, but it did nothing to him at all. He dashed forward and grabbed Pinkie and threw her into Fluttershy and Rarity, who were rushing forward to aid their friend. Applejack tried bucking him, but his armour was too strong and caused her a great deal of pain in her back legs. Mecha backhanded her away into a building. Mecha turned to Twilight, who had tackled him into a nearby building. He kicked her off of him and fired a laser from his hands. Twilight teleported to the sky and fired a magic beam at the robot, but he simply slided away to the left.
"TOO SLOW!!!" Mecha shouted before blasting off into the sky towards her. Mecha tried to punch her but she teleported behind him and contained him in a magic bubble.
"That's enough out of you." Twilight said proudly, thinking she had won.
Mecha simply chuckled as he began to build up energy before releasing it, breaking the bubble. The blast sent Twilight flying back, Mecha then flew forward and grabbed her by the neck and leaned in close to her face.
"I'VE LET YOU LIVE LONG ENOUGH!" Mecha said as he punched her to the ground.
Mecha then prepared to finish her off but was then hit into a building by Sonic, who had arrived just in time. Mecha landed on his feet on the ground and glared at his foe as he helped Twilight up. Sonic then cracked his knuckles and prepared to charge forward, but not before a certain metal copy of himself landed right next to Mecha.

Eggman then floated towards them in his Egg Mobile and laughed as more and more robots began to surround the group.
"BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Nowhere to run, fools!!! Now, you'll all be destroyed!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Eggman laughed.
Sonic then heard a familiar voice in his earpiece.
"Sonic, can you hear me? I've tracked your earpiece and I'm on my way to pick you up." Tails said.
"Thanks pal, but I'm not coming alone. Meet up at the edge of the city." Sonic replied. He then turned to the girls and Spike. "Guys, I have a plan. But we need to reach the edge of the city." They all nodded and followed Sonic as they ran to the edge of the city.
"DON'T JUST STAND THERE!!! AFTER THEM!!!" Eggman ordered.
They all gave chase, with Metal and Mecha in the lead. The heroes made it to the edge of the city and saw the horde of robots approaching them, with Metal and Mecha walking in front of them.
"What do we do now?" Applejack asked.
"On my signal, we jump." Sonic said.
"WHAT?! ARE YOU INSANE?!" Rarity yelled.
"Just trust me." Sonic replied.
Eggman floated down and hovered in front of his nemesis.
"Nowhere to run, hedgehog." Eggman said.
"Sonic, jump now!!!" Tails said.
Sonic smirked at his nemesis. "Don't be so sure, Eggface." He then turned to the girls, "NOW!!!"
They all jumped off the edge and screamed. Eggman looked shocked and peered over the edge. Only to be startled by the Tornado flying upwards with Sonic and his new friends on the wings, hanging on for dear life.
"Grr, METAL, MECHA!!! AFTER THEM!!!" Eggman screamed. The two nodded and flew off after them.
As Metal and Mecha began to catch up, Sonic turned his head and saw them approaching.
"TAILS!!! WE GOT COMPANY!!!" Sonic yelled.
"I've got just the thing!!!" Tails said as he flicked a switch. Suddenly an EMP blast dispersed from the Tornado and hit the robots, causing them to short circuit and fall down to the earth below.
Rainbow cheered and stuck her tongue out. "EAT DIRT, LOSERS!!!" The plane then began to fly away out of Eggman's reach.
Eggman growled as he saw his enemies get away. But he then sighed and smiled. "It doesn't matter. You may have gotten away, Sonic. But you lost the capital of this land, and you are still clueless about my real intentions. Once my plans are complete, ALL REALITIES SHALL BOW TO THE EGGMAN EMPIRE!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
The Tornado began to descend to the ground below and landed in a nearby cave where Tails had set up shop. As everyone got off the plane, Pinkie began to bounce everywhere looking at all the cool things that Tails had.
"WOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!" Pinkie screamed in excitement.
It wasn't until Twilight had teleported her back to the others that she began to calm down. Rainbow then stepped forward towards Sonic and Tails. "Okay, first of all. Thanks for saving our flanks back there. Second of all, who the hay are you guys?" Rainbow asked, to which she got a smirk from Sonic and Tails.
Sonic pointed to himself with his thumb, "As you already know, I'm Sonic. The fastest thing alive."
"I'm Miles Prower, but my friends just call me Tails." Tails introduced himself.
"Why do they call you that?" Fluttershy asked.
Tails then jumped in the air and began hovering in the air thanks to his twin tails. The ponies and Spike looked on in awe as the young fox not only had two tails, but the fact that he was flying in the air. Pinkie had the biggest grin on her face.
"THAT. IS. SO. COOL!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO THROW YOU BOTH A 'NEW FRIEND' PARTY!!!" Pinkie exclaimed as Tails landed.
"That's extraordinary." Twilight said happily.
Rainbow scoffed at Sonic's earlier comment, "'Fastest thing alive'? I believe that title belongs to moi."
Sonic raised an eyebrow, "Really? How fast can you go?"
"Up to Mach 5, faster than most pegasi." Rainbow said arrogantly, "What about you?"
"Heh, I can run so fast that I can travel at lightspeed without even breaking a sweat." Sonic said confidently.
"You've even exceeded it on your daily runs without even trying." Tails said, backing up Sonic's claims.
Rainbow's jaw practically dropped to the floor. She shook her head and crossed her forelegs over her chest, "Okay, after we beat that Eggman guy, you and I have to race."
"Gladly." Sonic replied.

"Excuse me, but can we possibly get back to the matter at hand?" Tails said with his arms crossed
"I agree. For starters, I believe some explanations are in order." Twilight said.
Sonic and Tails looked at each other before Tails decided to speak up, "As you can probably tell, we're not from around here."
"That's obvious." Rainbow muttered before being elbowed in the side by Applejack.
Tails cleared his throat and continued, "Anyway, we actually come from another dimension, and live on a world called Mobius."
"Wait, wait, wait!!! You're meaning to tell me that Multiverse Theory is real?! That's amazing!!! I've read about it in my studies but I never actually believed that it could actually exist!!!" Twilight said excitedly. "I have so many questions to ask you after this, but please continue."
"Well, on our world, we live in peace. Well, we do when Eggman isn't around to try and take over the world." Tails continued.
"Yeah, we kick his butt nearly every week. I mean, the amount of times we have travelled between dimensions or travelled through time, it's like a hobby or something." Sonic inputted.
"So, you deal with this guy all the time?" Spike asked.
"Yep. But let me just say that EggHead isn't a push over. Once he sets his mind to something, you can be sure that he will do whatever it takes to get it. He once blew up half of our moon just to prove a point." Sonic replied.
"AND WHAT POINT WAS THAT?!" Twilight asked frantically.
"I don't know, that he can blow up the moon?" Sonic answered.
"Can I continue, Sonic?" Tails asked, slightly annoyed.
"Sure thing." Sonic said with a smirk on his face.
"Anyways, after our most recent battle with Eggman, I discovered a space time anomaly in the outer reaches of space. It turned out to be a rift into your universe. Eggman used the power of the Chaos Emeralds, 7 mystical gems with infinite power within them, to journey through the rift and come here to your universe. What I'm stumped on was what created the rift in the first place. I know it had something to do with time travel, I believe that someone in this universe messed with time on a grand scale that it caused reality to break." Tails surmised
Twilight's eyes widened as she realised what caused all of this in the first place.
"Eh heh he, I might have an idea what caused the rift to appear." Twilight said nervously.
"Oh?"
"Yeah, a few years back, a friend of mine, who was evil at the time, travelled through time, multiple times to try and prevent me and my friends from ever meeting. Thus, creating multiple timelines, each one was worse after the last. I eventually stopped her and she reformed, but I never took into account the damage that could have on reality." Twilight explained.
"Well, now we got a cause, now we just need to figure out our next move to stop Eggman." Sonic said. He then turned to the Mane 6 and Spike, "You guys in for an adventure to save your dimension?"
The Mane 6 and Spike looked at each other for a moment before Twilight walked up to Sonic and offered her hoof, "We'll be happy to. Friends?"
Sonic smiled and took her hoof in his hand and shook it, "Friends."
"So, what do we do now?" Applejack asked.
"Well, now we come up with a plan." Sonic replied.
"Why don't we head back to Ponyville and form a plan there?" Twilight suggested.
"What a marvelous idea, anything is better than this garish place." Rarity inputted.
"Alright, then it's settled. Tails, get the Tornado ready. We're heading for Ponytown!" Sonic exclaimed.
"'Ponyville'." Twilight corrected, to which Sonic just let his arms fall to his sides and walked away slowly, not really caring.
Meanwhile in the Death Egg Mark II, Eggman was typing commands into his computer console. Orbot and Cubot were lifting a cable from one side of the room to the other. Once Eggman's computer beeped, he smiled evilly. He turned to his two idiot lackeys, "WILL YOU TWO IDIOTS HURRY IT UP AND GET THE POWER SOURCE CONNECTED TO THE EMERALDS!!!" Eggman ordered, causing the two robots to pick up the pace.
The two robots saluted and connected the cable to the compartment where the Emeralds were located.
"Emeralds connected, boss." Orbot said.
"He he, excellent." Eggman walked over to a big blinking red button and raised his arm into the air. "Firing Roboticizer, NOW!!!" He slammed his fist down onto the button. The bottom of the Death Egg Mark II opened up and revealed a giant laser gun. The laser gun fired a beam directly into the heart of Canterlot and a massive explosion engulfed the entire city. Once the light cleared, most of the city was Roboticized along with its civilians, while the rest of the city was in ruins.
As Eggman laughed, Orbot and Cubot looked in awe, "Wow, and I thought he was crazy before." Cubot said.
Eggman then hopped into his Egg Mobile and began to take off. His two lackeys jumped on just in time before he took off to Canterlot Castle. He landed down in front of the castle doors. He exited his Egg Mobile and walked right in. He made his way to the throne room and saw a mechanical throne waiting for him.
"This is perfect." Eggman declared before taking a seat on his mechanical throne. Metal and Mecha then walked into the throne room and kneeled before their master. Eggman didn't look happy, "Y'know, I should have you both scrapped for failing me in capturing Sonic. But since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you another chance. I have an assignment for you two. Orbot!!! The map, NOW!!!" Eggman ordered.
"On it, boss." Orbot said as he hit Cubot on the head, bringing up the map.
On said map, four locations were marked on the map. The Badlands, Cloudsdale, The Changeling Hive, and Seaquestria. "I want each of these locations under my control by sunset tonight!!! I have plans to build factories and a new Chemical Plant to aid in my conquest of this dimension. I want you two to make sure that everything goes according to plan, understood?" Eggman asked, the two robotic hedgehogs nodded and flew out of the room. The map shut off and Eggman began to monologue, "Heh heh. Everything is going to plan. Once I have the Elements of Harmony, I will harness their power and I will become the ruler of the Multiverse!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
"Um, boss. About that. We did some further digging, and we have learned that the Elements of Harmony have been, um, destroyed." Orbot revealed. Eggman stopped laughing as soon as he heard that sentence. He looked at the robot with a stunned face.
"You mean to tell me, that the very sources of power that my entire plan hinges on, are destroyed?" Eggman asked very slowly. Orbot nodded. Eggman stood there for a moment before drop kicking Cubot across the room and flipping a nearby table over. He then began to stomp his feet on the ground, "ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME!!!!!" He then fell, on his back and panted.
Orbot then floated up to his master's side, "But fear not, boss. I do have good news."
Eggman sat up and listened closely, "And what would that be?"
"Even though the Elements are no more, it seems as though that their magic is still very potent in six ponies only known as 'The Element Bearers'. It seems that these Bearers are essentially the Elements themselves. Therefore-"
"I can still use them." Eggman cut Orbot off. He then smiled evilly as he got back onto his feet and laughed evilly. "So, all I need to do is find these Element Bearers, drain their 'magic' and my plans can proceed! All I need to do is find out who they are."
"That might not be a problem boss." Orbot mentioned.
"Why's that?"
Orbot then displayed a picture of The Element Bearers and it was revealed to Eggman that the ones he was looking for were those ponies that were with Sonic. Eggman smiled in victory and walked back to his throne and sat atop it.
"This worked out perfectly. All I have to do is wait for them to come to me. And they will eventually. Sonic has just made my job a whole lot easier. But in the meantime, Orbot, Cubot!!! Go to the gardens, I read about how sealed prisoners are held captive as statues in the gardens. Bring me the ones called, Chrysalis, Cozy Glow, and Tirek."
Orbot and Cubot brought the statue of The Legion of Doom onto the Death Egg Mark II. They struggled as they set them down on a platform in the centre of the room. They huffed and puffed as they floated away from the statue. Eggman smirked as a claw like laser descended from the roof.
Orbot hovered over to a computer console and prepared to flip a switch. He looked to the screen on the console and then turned to his master, "Chaos Energy fully implemented into the laser, sir."
"Excellent. FIRE!!!" Eggman shouted as Orbot flipped the switch.
The laser fired down onto the trio of villains and the stone began to crack. The statue then finally broke and the laser ceased fire and The Legion fell down to the floor. The claw like laser deactivated and The Legion stood up in a dizzy like fashion.
"Ugh, I feel like I was mowed down by an Ursa Major." Tirek said groggily.
"Golly, my back feels stiff. Is that normal?" Cozy asked.
Chrysalis then saw Eggman, who had his hands behind his back and had an evil smile on his face.
"YOU THERE!!! WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE ARE WE?!" Chrysalis demanded as the other villains got into a fighting stance.
"I am Doctor. Ivo Robotnik. And I just freed you from your stone prison." Eggman said as he bowed politely. "As for where you are, you are in my battlestation, the Death Egg Mark II."
"Battlestation? What do you mean?" Tirek asked cautiously.
Eggman then pressed a button on a nearby console and the wall behind the villains began to lift up. They turned around and saw that they were up in the sky. They also saw the newly Roboticized Canterlot, they looked on in awe as they also saw The Egg Fleet and multiple robots.
They turned around as Eggman chuckled, "As you can see, I have already taken over this dimensions capital, and very soon my Empire will overrun the rest of this dimension."
"You say 'this dimension' as though as you are from another." Chrysalis pointed out.
"Very astute. Yes, I come from another dimension where I have attempted world domination multiple times. I have recently discovered your dimension and have opted to add this world to my ever expansive Empire." Eggman revealed.
"How did you manage to free us, mister?" Cozy asked in a way that just infuriated Eggman to the core.
"With these." Eggman then showed them the Chaos Emeralds and the villains were intrigued nonetheless. "Behold, the seven Chaos Emeralds."
"What do they do, exactly?" Tirek asked curiously.
"They are seven mystical gems with infinite power within them. If you have all seven, you would be unstoppable and achieve near omnipotence." Eggman explained.
The villain's eyes widened at the sheer power of the Emeralds, "That still doesn't explain why you freed us." Chrysalis pointed out yet again.
"My aren't we impatient. I have a proposition for each of you. I will grant you each a piece of this dimension in exchange for your help in my conquest to rule both this dimension and my own. You will have access to the most advanced weaponry to ever grace this dimension and no one would be able to stop you. What do you say?" Eggman asked, although he had a trick up his sleeve.
The villains all thought of this supposed proposition and huddled up, "Well, doesn't this sound familiar?" Cozy asked.
"This is just what Discord offered us when he posed as Grogar. I think we should take it." Tirek said.
"Are you insane?!" Chrysalis asked.
"Think about it, we'll let this fool believe that we will serve under him and then when the time is right, we will take those gems for ourselves. Then we will use them to conquer not only this dimension, but his dimension as well." Tirek smirked evilly.
All the villains smiled evilly and broke the huddle, Chrysalis then stepped forward, "We accept your offer, doctor."
"Excellent. Oh, Cozy, could you come her for a second?" Eggman asked.
Cozy glanced at her partners, who shrugged at her. She then flew over to the mad doctor, "Yes?"
Suddenly, a glass tube fell over the platform, trapping Tirek and Chrysalis inside. Cozy was about to act but was then grabbed by Metal Sonic, who was hiding in the shadows the whole time.
The villains smashed against the glass tube but couldn't break it due to their weakened states from just being freed from their stone prison, "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" Tirek demanded.
"Oh, did I forget to mention? I knew you would only pretend to be loyal to me just so you could get your hands, or hooves in Chrysalis' case, on my Emeralds. So, to make sure you stay loyal, I'm going to have your free will removed from the equation entirely. HO HO HO HO HO HO!!!" Eggman laughed as he walked over to the console. The claw like laser then switched itself out for a Roboticizer laser, and it was aimed directly at the two villains.
"YOU DARE TO THIS TO ME?! I AM A QUEEN!!!" Chrysalis shouted.
"And I don't care." Eggman responded. He then put his hand on the switch and smiled at the pair, "Welcome to the Eggman Empire." He then flipped the switch.
The Roboticizer fired and the tube as well as the villains were engulfed in a white light. Cozy could hear their screams of agony as they transformed. Their screams became more robotic as the light began to dissipate. The Roboticizer ceased firing and the tube lifted. Once the smoke cleared, Cozy saw what became of her allies.
Eggman then turned to Cozy, "Oh don't worry. I didn't forget about you."
"What are you going to do to me?"
"Nothing, in fact, I have a little gift for you." Eggman said as he walked into another room with Metal following close behind with Cozy in his grasp. Once they entered the room, Metal released Cozy and Eggman walked over to a panel on the wall and pressed a button. Suddenly, the floor began to split apart and a giant robot began to rise up from the darkness below. Its shadow covered Cozy as she smiled widely. Eggman noticed this and walked over, "What do you think, your kind of style?"
"It's perfect." Cozy said evilly.

Back with the heroes, Tails has just landed the Tornado in front of the Castle of Friendship. Everyone steps off and Sonic eyes the castle and whistles. "Not bad, princess. You used to live here?" Sonic asked.
"Yep, after an old villain of ours destroyed my previous home, the Tree of Harmony created this as a replacement." Twilight explained.
"The Tree of Harmony?" Sonic questioned.
"Basically where the Elements of Harmony came from." Rainbow said.
"Elements of Harmony?" Sonic questioned further.
"They were the most powerful artifacts in all of Equestria and our last line of defense in case all else failed. Unfortunately they were destroyed by an enemy of ours, King Sombra. But we learned that we are the very Elements we represented. I was the Element of Magic. Rainbow was Loyalty, Rarity was Generosity, Pinkie was Laughter, Fluttershy was Kindness, and Applejack was Honesty." Twilight explained to the speedy blue hedgehog.
"Cool." Sonic said simply before eyeing the School of Friendship, "Hey, what's that building over there?"
"That would be the School of Friendship. Twilight decided in order to protect Equestria, we should teach all creatures big and small what friendship is really about." Rarity explained.
"That's a very good idea, Twilight." Tails complimented.
"Thank you, Tails. Now come on, we have some planning to do." Twilight said.
As they were walking inside, suddenly a voice shouted out to them, "WAIT!!!"
They all turned around and saw a Hippogriff land in front of the group. She looked exhausted and had bruises all over her body. The Mane 6 recognized her, "Princess Skystar?" Twilight asked surprised.
"Guys, I need your help like, really badly." Skystar said in an alerted way.
"What's wrong, sugarcube?" Applejack asked.
"Seaquestria and Mount Aris have been taken over."
The Tornado flew through the storm clouds surrounding Mt. Aris while Rainbow Dash and Princess Skystar flew beside the plane.
Rainbow looked back to the plane and asked, "So, what happened exactly?"
"Everything was fine until we all felt a sudden earthquake, which was weird since we don't get earthquakes. Suddenly these large ship things hovered above Mt. Aris and two robots that look like your friend over there showed up and started destroying everything." Skystar said as she pointed to Sonic, who clenched his teeth in anger.
"Metal and Mecha." Sonic seethed.
"Then the ship things fired a laser type thing and everything turned into metal, including some of our citizens. Mother and I were lucky that we were near the pearl when the laser thing hit. It's power prevented us from being affected like the rest of Seaquestria." Skystar said.
Tails and Sonic's eyes widened in shock, "Eggman's using a Roboticizer!!!" Tails exclaimed in panic.
Twilight looked confused, "What's a Roboticizer?"
"A Roboticizer is a device that transforms anything organic into a machine. Eggman has turned a lot of Mobians into his personal robotic slaves to do his bidding." Tails explained.
"Whoever is Roboticized loses any form of free will and must obey EggHead's commands whether they want to or not. If they fail, Eggman destroys them." Sonic continued.
The Mane 6 looked horrified at this information, how could someone be so cruel and evil?
"That..... That monster!!!" Twilight exclaimed.
"That's just sick!!!" Applejack inputted.
"Believe me when I say that Eggman has done a lot worse. Not to mention that he uses animals to power up his Badniks." Sonic said.
Fluttershy's eyes widened and then turned into a furious glare, "THAT MONSTER!!! HOW COULD HE DO THAT TO THOSE POOR ANIMALS?!" Fluttershy yelled in anger.
Twilight placed a hoof on her shoulder, "Don't worry, Fluttershy. We'll make sure he pays for his crimes." Twilight gave a reassuring smile. Fluttershy seemed to calm down a bit after that.
Tails then got a notice on his dashboard, "Guys! We're approaching Mt. Aris!!! Get ready!!!" Tails said, the others nodded in response.
Once in clear view, the heroes saw what Eggman had done to Mt. Aris and Seaquestria. He created another Chemical Plant.
Sonic looked annoyed, "Really? Another Chemical Plant? Seriously, EggHead, come up with something original."
"Sonic, look at the water." Twilight pointed out.
Sonic looked and saw that the water was turned into the colour purple due to all the pollution going into the ocean thanks to the Chemical Plant. Sonic looked angry, "That sicko!!! Doesn't he know that there are living beings down there!!!"
"SugarHog, why is it bad that the water is that purple colour?" Applejack asked worryingly.
"Because if that pollution continues at the rate it's going, all the Seaponies are gonna die." Sonic said sadly.
This shocked the Mane 6 even more.
"So, if we don't stop this plant, then there will be no more Seaquestria?" Spike asked.
"Yep, but don't worry. We'll make sure that this plant gets demolished. Tails, I'm gonna head down there and start trashing the place. You guys find a place to land and start doing the same. Hey, Rainbow, care to join me?" Sonic asked.
Rainbow smirked, "Heck yeah, in fact, let's make it interesting."
"What'cha have in mind?"
"Whoever trashes the most robots, wins." Rainbow declared.
Sonic jumped down from the wing of the plane and skydived down towards the Chemical Plant. He tucked and rolled into a ball and performed a spin dash once he landed to gain extra momentum. He plowed through multiple Badniks who were guarding the plant. He skidded to a stop and dashed forward, Sonic made his way by leaping from the edge of a platform and started grinding on the rails. He noticed spikes on the rail he was on and jumped to the one next to it. He then jump dashed forward and used a Homing Attack on some wasp Badniks that were firing upon him. He hit each one and landed on the floor below and continued forward.
Rainbow Dash saw Sonic had started without any notification and smirked. She flew down and tore through a horde of enemies once she reached the ground. She then flew upwards and flew through a nearby pillar, destroying it. It landed on a nearby platform and crushed some Egg Pawns that were scouting the area. Rainbow then continued down the track and flew through any enemy she saw, smiling the whole time.
"AW, YEAH!!!" Rainbow yelled.
Up above, the Tornado picked up some some ships close by and Tails decided to form a plan, "Twilight, there are some Eggman ships nearby. They could cause some trouble, I'm going after them, could you teleport everyone down there and help out?"
"You got it, good luck, Tails." Twilight then turned to her friends, "Everypony ready?" They all nodded and Twilight focused her magic and teleported her and her friends down to the Chemical Plant. Tails then activated the thrusters and boosted after the enemy ships.
Once Twilight had teleported everypony down to the Chemical Plant, Twilight turned to her friends, "Everypony, let's trash this place." Twilight smirked as everypony nodded. Spike hopped on her back as she flew off and the rest spread out to help in anyway they can.
Twilight flew through the sky and saw some wasp Badniks in the sky. They fired at her immediately, causing her to sway left and right to avoid the shots. She then fired a beam of magic at one wasp Badnik, destroying it. Spike then jumped off her back and flew towards another wasp Badnik. He then breathed green fire and hit the Badnik, destroying it. Spike then stuck his head up proudly and flew back to Twilight and landed on her back. The two winked at each other, "Great job, Spike."
Spike gave her neck a quick hug before Twilight flew faster and started firing magic blasts at the Chemical Plant.
Applejack ran on the walkways of the Chemical Plant, dodging every blast that came her way. She got her rope and swung it in the air and then wrapped it around a nearby Egg Pawn. She then smirked and started swinging it around, causing it to hit the nearby Egg Pawns, knocking them down. She let it go and it fell into the water. She then ran up to one of the Egg Pawns and bucked it in the chest, causing it to collide with the other Egg Pawns, destroying them. Applejack tilted her hat forward and continued to run forward.
Pinkie was swinging around on a nearby crane, throwing cupcakes everywhere, hoping to hit some of the wasp Badniks that surrounded her. She then laughed as she jumped off the crane and landed on a wasp Badnik and was sent crashing to the ground. The Badnik blew up while she just bounced on the ground, completely fine. She then heard some footsteps behind her and turned around to see a horde of Egg Pawns, only these ones looked different.
She giggled as she quickly dashed away as they fired upon her. They looked around before hearing something big behind them. They turned around and saw Pinkie in her Party Cannon. She fired and collided with the Egg Pawns, destroying them. She rolled around and landed on her rump. She turned around and giggled as she continued to bounce around happily.
Fluttershy ran away as several Motobugs drove after her. She led them on as they continued to chase her. She then reached the edge of the walkway and was trapped. The Motobugs reeved their wheels and sped after her. She shrieked as she took to the air, letting the Motobugs fall into the water. She sighed but didn't realise a nearby caterpillar Badnik behind her, charging up a blast from its mouth. It was about to fire but was then destroyed by Princess Skystar, Fluttershy turned around and smiled kindly at the Princess, who smiled back.
Rarity was cornered by a mob of Egg Pawns, she had no way out of her current predicament. She then began to charge her magic and teleported behind them and began to run away, the Egg Pawns giving chase. She then turned behind her and smirked as she quickly stopped and faced the mob.
"TAKE THIS YOU RUFFIANS!!!" Rarity screamed.
She then fired a blast of magic at the mob, destroying them instantly. She huffed and continued forward.
Tails dodged and weaved several shots from the armada of ships. He smirked as he pressed a button on his dashboard, he then fired several missiles at the ships, severely damaging them. He then turned around dodged some more of the shot their cannons fired. Tails did a barrel roll and fired more missiles at the ships, finishing them off for good. He then made his way back towards the Chemical Plant.
Sonic and Dash were running, or in Dash's case, flying on some blue and yellow pipes and made their way towards the main computer of the Chemical Plant, which was located in an area called the Space Port. The two smirked at each other as one final Egg Pawn stood in their way. They both dashed forward to try and destroy it first. They reached it at the same time and it blew up from both of their attacks. They both stopped at the Space Port and began tallying up the scores.

"HAH! I got 135 robots!!! Beat that!" Rainbow gloated.
"Same. Guess it's a tie." Sonic said.
The two bumped fists/hooves and turned around to see the others approaching. Sonic and Rainbow waved at their friends as they arrived.
"Alright, girls. And Spike. This must be the main computer, it powers this entire place. If we destroy that-"
"Then this plant goes BOOM!!!" Pinkie interrupted the blue hedgehog.
"Exactly." Sonic responded.
"Well, what're we waitin' fer?" Applejack said.
Twilight stepped forward and prepared to fire a magic blast from her horn. But suddenly, Tails spoke to Sonic through his ear piece.
"Sonic? Can you hear me? I've dealt with the ships but my radar is picking up something big headed your way." Tails informed.
Just as she was about to fire, a missile exploded just in front of Twilight, if it wasn't for Sonic, who used his speed to quickly move her out of the way, she wouldn't have been so lucky. Suddenly, something big landed in front of them. They all looked up and saw a metal centaur standing before them with an angry look on his face.
"Wait, is that?" Spike said before Twilight finished his thought for him.
Lord Tir-X fired a barrage of missiles from his missile launchers on his shoulders. Everybody spread out to avoid the devastating attack, explosions were going off everywhere as chaos consumed the Space Port. Sonic skidded to a halt and charged up a Homing Attack, he then used said attack to try and hit Tir-X.
"EAT THIS, CHROME DOME!!!" Sonic shouted as he spun towards Tir-X.
Tir-X growled as he backhanded Sonic away, causing Sonic to tumble to a halt on the ground. Tir-X then began charging his horns as he snarled at the speedy blue hedgehog. Tir-X then fired a yellow beam from in between his horns, causing Sonic to think on his feet and quickly speed out of the way. The resulting explosion tore apart part of the Space Port, Tir-X then fired some more missiles at the hedgehog, creating even more explosions on the Space Port. Sonic smirked as he ran ahead of the explosions behind him. He then saw one final missile heading right towards him, he then ran forward and kicked it back into Tir-X's face, causing the metallic centaur to stumble back.
Tir-X shook his head and was about to attack when suddenly, he was struck in the back by a blast of magic. He turned and saw Twilight behind him, charging up another attack. Tir-X charged forward and brought back his red fist and brought it down to where Twilight was standing, had she not teleported out of the way, she would have been seriously hurt. Tir-X was then shoved in the back at high speeds by Rainbow Dash.
"HAH! TOO SLOW!!!" Rainbow shouted as she took to the air.
Tir-X then looked up to the sky and saw Rainbow flying, he took this opportunity to fire a barrage of missiles at the cyan pegasus. Her eyes widened as she had to maneuver through the barrage of explosions that were in the air due to the missiles. She then turned around and flew right towards Tir-X, but he smiled as he fired another blast from his horns. Rainbow was then struck by the blast and was sent flying through the air and landed harshly on the ground.
"RAINBOW!!!" Sonic shouted in alarm.
He then gritted his teeth and dashed forward towards his enemy. Tir-X then raised his arms and opened his palms, he then fired two red blasts from his palms. Sonic moved to the left to avoid the blasts and got closer to Tir-X. Tir-X then stood on his back legs, raising his forelegs into the air. He then roared as he brought them back down, creating a red shockwave that knocked Sonic back and sent him rolling on the ground.
Tir-X then turned around and was cupcaked in the face by Pinkie. He wiped the delicious treat of his face and snarled at Pinkie, who just stood there with a smile on her face. He then fired a blast from his horns to try and hit the pink coloured mare. He smiled but as soon as the smoke cleared, he realised that Pinkie was gone. He looked around for the random pony, only for his attention to be brought behind him as he heard someone whistle. He turned and was hit by the cargo attached to a crane. It sent him flying off the Space Port. Pinkie cheered but it was short lived as Tir-X rose up, the underside of his hooves a blaze as he floated in the air.
"Uh oh." Pinkie said as Tir-X flew forward and shoulder charged the mare. She was sent to the edge of the Space Port and was close to falling into the polluted water.
Tir-X floated over to her and landed right in front of her. He then raised a fist to finish her off, he brought it down, but missed her as Sonic quickly dashed over and picked up Pinkie Pie and carried her to safety. The pair fell over and tumbled to the ground.
Tir-X lifted his fist from the ground and looked over to his enemies. He was about to charge over there, but was suddenly encased within a bubble, courtesy of Twilight. Tir-X then turned to see the alicorn, her horn lit up from her magic. Tir-X then began punching the bubble, causing it to crack. Twilight struggled to keep the bubble together as each punch caused the bubble to crack on impact. Tir-X then gave the bubble one final punch and caused the bubble to shatter. Twilight fell to the floor in exhaustion and panted heavily. She looked up only to see Tir-X charging over to her, she then received a punch in the face and was sent flying over the edge of the Space Port. She would've fell into the water if it wasn't for Princess Skystar, who saved her just in time. The two landed on the Space Port and fell over, rolling to a stop.
Twilight looked to see Sonic running circles around Tir-X, but was then backhanded away, "How do we stop him, he's even more powerful than before?!"
Tails then flew down towards Tir-X in the Tornado and fired multiple bullets at the metal centaur. He raised his arms to cover his face from the bullets. The Tornado flew over them as Tir-X turned around and fired a blast from his horns. Tails just barely dodged the attack by maneuvering out of the way. Tir-X then fired multiple missiles at the Tornado in hopes of destroying it. Tails activated the Tornado's boosters and flew out of the way of the missiles. He then turned around and fired a missile at Tir-X, only for Tir-X to catch it in his hand and throw it back. Tails' eyes widened as he lifted up just enough to dodge the missile.
Applejack then ran towards the centaur with her rope in her mouth and threw it over one of Tir-X's horns. She then tried to pull him down with all the strength she could muster, but it was for nothing as Tir-X simply grabbed the rope with his hand and lifted it off of his horn and tugged the rope, sending Applejack flying towards him. He then headbutted the cowpony to the ground. He then raised his forelegs to try and crush the mare. Applejack quickly rolled out of the way as Tir-X brought them down. Applejack then stared the centaur down and Tir-X did the same. Applejack then ran forward in hopes of at least doing something to him. But Tir-X simply grabbed her by the throat and raised her into the air. He then punched her in the chest and she was sent flying through the air and landed harsly on the ground.
Spike flew around Tir-X in the air and breathed fire at the metal centaur, but it didn't appear to do any damage whatsoever. Spike flew in front of the centaur, only to be backhanded away.
Fluttershy then shrieked as Tir-X turned to her, she was shaking as his shadow loomed over the kind, yellow pegasus. He smiled as he began charging up his horns. He was about to fire when suddenly, a wave of magic pushed him back a few metres. Fluttershy turned to see Rarity, who had just fallen to the ground from over using her magic. Fluttershy quickly ran over to check on her friend, Tir-X saw this and began to run over to them to finish them off. He was close but was brought to a stop by Sonic, who had Spin Dashed him in the chest. Tir-X stumbled and glared at the hedgehog.
"You want someone to crush, come and get me!!!" Sonic yelled.
Sonic then began running around Tir-X in a circle. Soon enough, he was running so fast that a blue tornado formed around the metallic centaur, blinding him from seeing anything outside the tornado. As he looked around, he was suddenly struck in the face by Rainbow Dash as she flew into the tornado and out of it. She repeated this multiple times, each time hitting him harder than the last. Sonic then skidded to a halt and joined Dash in hitting the centaur with multiple Spin Attacks. The tornado disappeared and Tir-X could only get a quick look before being hit in the face by both Sonic and Rainbow Dash. The attack from the two speedsters sent Tir-X sliding back towards the edge of the Space Port, only stopping before falling into the water.
The heroes then regrouped as Tir-X stared at them, Twilight then spoke to her friends, "Nothing we're doing is working. We hit him and it doesn't even bother him!!!"
Rainbow then had an idea, "Maybe we're not hitting him hard enough. Applejack, Pinkie. I need you two to wrap his legs with Applejack's rope. Sonic, think you could blind him again?"
"You know I can." Sonic replied.
"What are you goin' ta do?" Applejack asked.
Rainbow smirked as she took to the air, "I'm gonna give Tirek a taste of the rainbow." She then took off to the sky.
Tir-X then fired a barrage of missiles at the heroes and stepped forward away from the ledge. Applejack and Pinkie had the rope in their mouths and began running around Tir-X's legs, limiting his movement. Sonic then ran around Tir-X, creating another blue tornado, blinding him.
Rainbow reached a high enough altitude and then turned around, "Here we go." Rainbow then boosted down towards the Space Port. Tir-X then had had enough and used his strength to break the rope around his legs. Sonic then skidded to a halt with a smirk on his face. As the tornado disappeared, Tir-X saw a a wave of Rainbow in the sky, Rainbow Dash had performed a Sonic Rainboom. She then flew towards Tir-X at high speeds and slammed into him, causing part of the Space Port to break off as Tir-X was sent crashing into the depths below, finishing this battle for good.
As Tir-X sunk to the bottom of the ocean, the group all came together and posed at their victory.
"Too easy." Sonic said.
"Didn't even break a sweat." Rainbow inputted.

Tails then landed the Tornado on what remained of the Space Port and hopped out. He then walked towards the main computer and began typing it. The others walked over to see what he was doing.
"What are you doing, Tails?" Fluttershy asked.
"I'm hacking the EggNet to see if I can gather any further intel to what Eggman is planning." Tails explained.
"Hacking?" Twilight asked.
"I couldn't explain it even if I tried." Sonic said, shrugging.
Tails then gasped at the information he saw on screen. "Guys, we have a problem."
"What is it, Tails?" Spike asked.
"According to this, Eggman has already taken over 5% of Equestria. And he's only been here for a few hours. It says here that he has multiple factories stationed at seperate areas of Equestria. He has turned a place called 'Cloudsdale' into a Badnik production facility, he set up a weapons factory in a place called the Badlands, and he's turned this 'Changeling Kingdom' into a camp where prisoners are taken to be Roboticized." Tails informed the heroes.
"HE DID WHAT TO CLOUDSDALE?!" Rainbow shouted.
"Sounds like EggHead has been busy." Sonic said.
"Well, what do we do?" Rarity asked.
Sonic then turned to the group, "We smash every factory and camp and free those areas from Eggman's grasp. Then once we do that, we take the fight to Eggman." Sonic said, the group looked at each other and nodded. Sonic then turned to Skystar, "Think you can keep an eye on things here while we save the world?" He asked.
"You bet! Give Eggman a punch for me." Skystar replied.
"Well, then we better get going." Twilight said.
"Hang on." Tails said as he finished typing on the console. Suddenly, the screen turned red as numbers counting down from a minute appeared on screen. "We better get outta here, this place is about to blow." Tails said.
The heroes then gathered at the Tornado and began their escape. Everyone was ready to go and Tails took off into the sky while Skystar flew away at a safe distance. The numbers reached zero and the Chemical Plant exploded, being taken out of commission.
As the explosion went off, Tails asked his friends, 'Where should we go first?"
"CLOUDSDALE!!!" Rainbow shouted.
Everyone shrugged as Tails put in the coordinates. "Cloudsdale it is."
The Tornado then boosted as the heroes made their way to Cloudsdale.
Meanwhile, the doors leading to a room on the Death Egg Mark II opened, letting Eggman step inside. Orbot and Cubot floated in after him.
"Sir, I just got reports that the Chemical Plant has been, destroyed." Orbot informed his master.
Eggman chuckled as he walked over towards two shadowed silhouettes, "It doesn't matter. They won't get far."
"I have also been informed that they are heading towards your Badnik Factory in Cloudsdale, boss."
"Well, what a perfect opportunity to test these two out." Eggman replied.
The two silhouettes then stepped out of the shadows and it was revealed to be Eggman's latest creations.
The Tornado flew through some clouds and boosted forward towards Cloudsdale, meanwhile Sonic and Rainbow Dash were talking to one another.
"Wait, wait, wait. So you're telling me that you pegasi control the weather?' Sonic asked.
"Yep." Rainbow replied.
"That is awesome!!!" Sonic said.
"Well how does the weather work on your world?" Rainbow asked.
"The weather usually does its own thing. No one controls it on our world." Sonic replied.
"Huh, weird."

"Guys, we're approaching Cloudsdale now." Tails informed the team.
As they flew forward, Cloudsdale came into view, only it didn't look like Cloudsdale anymore, instead was a floating factory in the sky that had Badniks coming in and out of it. Rainbow gritted her teeth in anger, "When I get my hooves on that EggHead!!!"
"Calm down, Rainbow." Fluttershy said.
"We'll tear this factory apart, just like we did with the Chemical Plant, don't worry." Twilight said.
Sonic then smirked to his best friend, who smirked right back at him. Sonic then ran to the other side of the wing and crouched down, "I'm gonna get a head start, meet you all down there!"
Sonic then ran off the wing and air dashed in the air and landed on the metallic flooring of the factory.
"SONIC, WAIT!!! WE NEED A PLAN OF ATTACK!!!" Twilight yelled.
"I have a plan. Attack!!!" Rainbow yelled as she zoomed forward and broke into the factory.
Twilight shook her head in annoyance, "They're just as bad as each other."
Twilight then turned her head and saw a horde of flying Egg Pawns heading their way.
"Uh, Tails?" Twilight asked worryingly.
Tails then turned his head and saw the Egg Pawns heading their way. He then turned the plane around and began firing upon the squadron. Each bullet destroying an Egg Pawn, one of them opened their mouth and fired a missile at the Tornado. Tails then looked to Twilight, who charged up her magic and used it to redirect the missile back towards the Egg Pawn, destroying it on impact.
"Mighty fine job, you two." Applejack complimented.
Tails then spotted some wasp Badniks and more flying Egg Pawns exiting the factory and headed their way. Twilight then jumped out of the plane and flew through the sky and began firing beams of magic at the newly deployed squadron. Tails turned the plane and began firing at the squadron, assisting Twilight.
"Thanks, Tails." Twilight thanked.
As Tails smiled, he suddenly got an alert on his dashboard. It showed four red dots approaching them, "Guys, we got incoming!"
Twilight was about to ask what was wrong but was suddenly hit in the chest by a red beam. She fell and crashed into the factory. The one who shot the beam flew in after her while another flew into another part of the factory. Tails was about to give chase when suddenly he saw Metal and Mecha flying towards the factory. Metal entered the factory while Mecha flew towards the Tornado.
"Uh oh." Tails said as he gulped.
Mecha then boosted right towards him and shot a red beam from the palm of his hand, Tails out maneuvered the blast, but Mecha landed on the hood of the plane and began punching the glass that protected Tails. Applejack then saw enough and got out of her seat and leaped at Mecha Sonic, knocking them both off of the plane.
"APPLEJACK, NO!!!" Rarity screamed in alarm.
Applejack continued to punch Mecha, but he simply grabbed her body and flew onto the roof of the factory. Applejack rolled to a stop while Mecha skidded to a stop. He glared at the cow pony and launched right at her, she rolled away from the attack and continued to do so.
Tails then had an idea and turned to the others, "Hold onto something!!!"
"Why?" Spike asked.
Tails then flipped a secret panel on his dashboard and the Tornado began to transform.
The newly transformed Tornado then flew down towards Mecha and punched him with its giant fists. The punch sent Mecha flying through the air, he quickly recovered and got into a battle stance as the Tornado came in for another strike.
As Twilight rolled to a stop inside the factory, she looked up and saw who had hit her. It was a robotic version of herself. The metal duplicate landed and its razor sharp wings folded back into the robots sides as the sides of its body shut.
Twilight stared wide eyed at the robotic creation, "W....what are you?"
Mecha Twilight then responded by firing a red beam from her horn, Twilight used her wings to quickly move to the left to avoid the blast. Twilight then flew forward and fired a beam of her own. Mecha Twilight simply jumped over the beam as her wing emerged from her sides and flew towards the alicorn.
The two tackled one another as they rose up further into the air, Mecha Twilight punched Twilight in the face and then fired multiple missiles from her hooves. Twilight put up a shield to protect herself from the missiles. The impact sent her flying back and she hit a wall.
Mecha Twilight then flew forward to try and hit the alicorn, Twilight quickly teleported away as the robotic duplicate hit the wall with her hoof. She turned around only to be hit in the chest by Twilight's beam of magic. The impact sent her into the wall, the beam continued to hit the duplicate in the chest, Twilight wasn't letting up. She then used more power and it resulted in Mecha Twilight being blasted through the wall.
Mecha Twilight recovered as red electricity began to swirl around her, she was going into Maximum Overdrive. She then rushed forward towards her predecessor at high speeds. Twilight's eyes widened as she flew higher into the air to avoid the overcharged robot.
She continued flying as the robot continued to give chase. They flew all through the factory, but Mecha Twilight was catching up to her. Twilight had to think of something, and quick.
Twilight then stopped mid air and turned around and began charging her horn to extreme lengths. Mecha Twilight was charging right at her, Twilight grunted as she couldn't hold in the energy anymore. She released a massive beam of magic directly at her metallic counterpart. The beam hit Mecha Twilight, resulting in a massive explosion. As the smoke cleared, Twilight saw Mecha Twilight fall down into the darkness below, putting it out of commission for good.
Twilight sighed as she floated down to the nearest platform to rest.
As Rainbow was plowing through the factory, she was suddenly struck in the side, causing her to fall to the ground. She shook her head and saw Metal Dash hovering right in front of her.
"What the heck is this?" Rainbow asked.
Metal Dash then tackled Rainbow through multiple rooms and threw her to a nearby platform. She rolled to a stop and glared at her metal counter part.
"Okay then. You wanna go? LET'S GO!!!" Rainbow shouted as she charged right towards Metal Dash.
Metal Dash fired a beam out of her chest, causing Rainbow to sway to the right to avoid it. She came close to hitting her counterpart, but Metal Dash quickly uppercut the rainbow maned pegasus. She then quickly kicked her in the stomach, and then hit her in the chest with a chest beam, sending her flying across the room.
Rainbow recovered in mid air and quickly moved out of the way as Metal Dash charged right towards her. Rainbow then flew off with Metal Dash giving chase.
Metal Dash flew over Rainbow's head and hovered in front of her. She then turned to the left slightly and readied her wing. She then threw several razor blades from her metallic wing at the rainbow maned pegasus.
"WHAT THE HAY?!"
Rainbow swayed left and right to dodge the attacks. Metal Dash then fired another beam from her chest, but Rainbow ducked underneath it and boosted forward and hit her metallic counterpart in the chin. She then grabbed her back leg and swung her around in a circular motion. She then let her go and the robot was sent flying into a nearby wall.
Before she had time to recover, Rainbow charged right into her chest and sent her through the wall of the facility. Rainbow then started attacking her from all angles at high speeds. She then stopped in front of the robot as she began to malfunction.
Rainbow smirked as she boosted forward and plowed right through Metal Dash's torso. The robot then blew apart as Rainbow turned around and smirked.
"Nothing can be as awesome as the original." Rainbow said.
She then turned to see the Tornado in battle mode fighting Mecha. She then smirked as she boosted forward.
Mecha fired another blast from his visor and the Tornado almost got damaged by the attack, but Tails was quick enough to see the attack coming. Mecha then had had enough and began charging up his Maximum Overdrive. Tails was about to act when suddenly, he saw Rainbow Dash charging right towards him.
Tails smirked as he knew what Rainbow intended to do. Just as Mecha was about to finish charging, he was suddenly pushed in the back at high speeds by Rainbow. He was sent flying towards Tails, who used the Tornado's giant fist to punch a hole through Mecha's torso.
Mecha started twitching as electricity was protruding his body. He then exploded right in front of the group of heroes, Rainbow landed in front of the Tornado as Tails used it to give a thumbs up, to which Rainbow winked back at the fox.

Sonic was running down a very large hallway, dodging giant buzzsaws and flying Egg Pawns.
Suddenly, a familiar metal hedgehog passed him and hovered right in front of the hedgehog.
Sonic smirked as he continued running, "Hey, Metal. So you wanna go for a second round?"
Metal then clenched his fists and glared at the hedgehog.
"I'll take that as a yes!!!"
Metal then fired a beam from his chest towards his loathsome copy. Sonic had to switch lanes and hit Metal in the chest with a Homing Attack. Metal recovered charged directly at the hedgehog, Sonic jumped over him as his metallic counterpart passed him.
Metal then turned around and fired another beam at Sonic, who moved to another lane again to avoid the attack. Metal's eyes glowed as he charged forward and was ahead of Sonic once again. His hands then started to glow a blue purplish colour, as did the walls. Metal then pulled his hands to the front of him and pieces of the wall came off.
"Well, that's new." Sonic said.
Metal then threw the pieces of the wall at Sonic. Sonic had simply jumped and landed on the pieces of the wall and used them to get closer to Metal. He then used a Homing Attack to hit Metal, causing him to fall to the ground and roll down the hallway behind Sonic.
Metal then quickly recovered and dashed for his loathsome copy. He tried to attack him from behind, but Sonic saw this coming and skidded to a stop before backflipping over Metal. Sonic landed and then curled into a ball and started reeving. Metal turned around and charged at him once more with his right claw ready to slash him.
"Game over, Metal!" Sonic said as he finally dashed forward and hit Metal right in the chest, sending the robot high into the air before exploding.
Sonic untucked and skidded to a stop and turned behind him. He saw Metal's head roll to the floor, he then drop kicked it away before running down the hallway.

Sonic then reached the main reactor of the factory, he placed his left hand on his hip before smirking. He then curled into a ball and hit the reactor several times with multiple Homing Attacks. The reactor then began to explode as Sonic dashed out of the reactor room.
Meanwhile on the roof, Rainbow was about to head back inside when suddenly, they all heard an alarm go off. Twilight then teleported to the roof but fell to her belly out of exhaustion. Rainbow and Applejack then rushed over to check on their friend.
"Twi, you okay?" Applejack asked.
Twilight nodded just before Sonic made a hole through the roof and met up with the others.
"Hey, guys. So this place is about to blow and we don't wanna be here when it does." Sonic informed the others.
"But what about Cloudsdale?" Rainbow asked.
"Don't worry, we'll help with the repairs once we stop EggHead. Now come on, let's get outta here." Sonic said, they all nodded and ran towards the Tornado.
The Tornado then took off to the sky as the factory exploded, hindering Eggman's plans even further. Sonic stood on the wing of the plane and turned to his best friend. "All right, where to next?"
Tails was about to respond but was interrupted by a green laser coming from behind them. The laser just barely missed the plane so luckily no one was hurt.
"What was that?" Rarity asked.
Sonic turned around and saw what had attacked them. It was Eggman, in a new dragon like mech.
"You're not getting away that easily, hedgehog!!!" Eggman exclaimed.
"Hey, EggHead. Finally decided to come out and play, huh?" Sonic retorted.
"Joke all you want, hedgehog!!! But none of you will be laughing when you are all destroyed by my latest creation. The Egg Cybernese!!!" Eggman shouted.
The mech roared and Sonic simply smirked, "All right then, Eggman. Let's play!!! Girls, you ready?"
The girls nodded and Sonic smirked. Twilight turned around and glared at the mad doctor.
"Let's play, Robotnik." Twilight said as she readied for battle.
"Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho!!! Prepare to be skewered!!!" Eggman shouted as the Egg Cybernese roared.
The mech then flew forward at high speeds towards the Tornado. Tails, thinking quickly, boosted the Tornado and did a barrel roll to dodge the incoming mech. The mech then quickly turned around and fired a green laser from its mouth. Tails dodged the attack and fired upon the mech with a barrage of bullets. The mech simply swayed out of the way at high speeds, quickly moving left and right to dodge the attacks.
"It's gonna take more than that, fox brat!!!" Eggman shouted.
"Time to throw in my two bits!!!" Rainbow shouted as she flew forward at high speeds.
Eggman smiled as he moved the lower half of the mechs body to hit Rainbow with its tail. Rainbow was sent flying through the sky and began falling to the ground.
"RAINBOW, NO!!!" Sonic shouted in distress.
Rainbow quickly regained consciousness and began flapping her wings to regain flight. She then scowled at the Egg Cybernese.
"Oh, it's on!!!" Rainbow shouted.
Rainbow and the Tornado flew forward towards Eggman, who simply smiled as he raised the first set of the mechs hands and fired a barrage of green blasts at both the Tornado and Rainbow. They moved left and right to dodge the blasts with great difficulty. The mech then roared and fired another green laser from its mouth.
Tails moved the Tornado to the left while Rainbow moved to the right to avoid the incoming laser.
"Fly all you want, I'm still gonna incinerate the bothersome lot of you." Eggman said as the mech charged forward.
Sonic then smirked and ran off the wing of the plane, much to Twilight's shock. "SONIC, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Sonic then curled into a Spin Dash and hit the cockpit of the mech as it neared the Tornado. The attack sent the mech spiraling back through the air while Sonic flipped through the air and landed safely on the wing of the plane.
The mech recovered and roared, "You little..." Eggman seethed in anger.
The mech then shot forward and spread its multiple arms out to its sides and unsheathed its claws. Its torso then began spinning in a circular motion to try and hit the plane. Tails then quickly transformed the plane and hit the head of the mech with the Tornado's giant fist, sending the mech back.
"Ha ha! Direct hit!!!" Tails said happily.
"Don't get cocky, brat!!!" Eggman shouted in annoyance.
Rainbow then flew forward to try and hit the mech, but Eggman simply ducked under the rainbow maned pegasus at high speeds. Rainbow stopped dead in her tracks and turned around, only to be grabbed by the left claw of the second pair of arms. Eggman then began to squeeze and cackle as Rainbow screamed in pain. Twilight then flew out of the plane and charged towards the mech.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!!!" Twilight shouted in anger.
The mech roared and raised the right claw of the first pair of arms and fired a barrage of green blasts at the alicorn. Twilight dashed forward and outmaneuvered the attacks. She then fired a blast of magic at the mech, but the mech dodged the attack by moving to the right at high speeds.
Tails then began shooting bullets out of the Tornado at the Egg Cybernese, distracting it long enough for Twilight to encase the claw that had its grip on Rainbow and made it release her.
Eggman saw this and slammed his fists onto his console, "HOW DARE YOU!!!"
The mech then tried to swipe at the pair with its second pair of claws, but they simply flew out of its reach and flew towards the cockpit. Twilight fired a beam of magic from her horn and hit the cockpit, damaging it even further. Twilight then moved out of the way so Rainbow could dash forward and hit the cockpit with extreme force, sending the mech back once again.
"HA! TAKE THAT, EGGFACE!!!" Rainbow shouted.
"GRR, YOU DISGUSTING WENCH!!! YOU'LL REGRET THAT!!!"" Eggman shouted in anger.
The Tornado then turned around and headed towards the mech while Rainbow and Twilight were flying around it, giving the team the distraction they needed. Sonic grinned as the Tornado flew around the mech and ended up behind it. Sonic then jumped off the wing again and landed on the tail of the mech.
Eggman turned around and noticed a familiar blue hedgehog running up on the mechs torso, "OH NO YOU DON'T!!!"
Eggman then moved the lower arms of the mech and tried to grab Sonic, who simply jumped over the left claw and ducked under the right. Eggman then growled, but then he had an idea. Suddenly, the mechs torso began to spin, causing Sonic to lose his footing and fall right off the mech.
"SONIC!!!" The group of heroes all shouted simultaneously.
Sonic looked around and saw the Tornado heading for him, but the Egg Cybernese fired another laser at the plane, causing it to go off course.
"NO!!! TODAY, HE DIES!!!" Eggman shouted.
Sonic looked around for anything that could help him. His eyes then widened when he saw the remains of the Badnik Factory. Sonic had only one shot at this, he had to time it just right. Sonic then curled into a spin dash and shot through the air towards the factory. Sonic then untucked and reached his hand out and by just, he grabbed onto the edge of the factory's roof. He pulled himself up and looked to where the Egg Cybernese was fighting his friends.
Eggman then turned to see that his nemesis had survived, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Eggman shouted as he piloted the mech towards the remains of his factory.
The Tornado then began to give chase, only for Sonic to wave him off, which confused the heck out of the ponies.
"What's he doing?" Fluttershy asked.
"He's letting me know that he wants to fight Eggman himself." Tails replied.
"WHAT?! HE'S GOING TO FIGHT THAT MONSTROSITY ALL BY HIMSELF?! THAT'S INSANE!!!" Rarity shrieked.
"Meh, he usually handles stuff like this alone anyway." Tails said.
"Well he ain't alone now!" Applejack said as she unbuckled her seatbelt and jumped out of the plane.
"APPLEJACK, WAIT!!!" Tails shouted.
"Tails, bring us down." Rarity said.
"But-"
"Tails." Rarity gave him a stern look.
Tails then nodded and began to land the plane.
Sonic saw Applejack falling from the sky and decided to act fast. He ran up and air dashed towards her and caught her in mid air. The pair landed on the roof and looked at one another as Sonic set her down, "What are you doing, Applejack?"
"Not letting you fight that varmint alone." Applejack replied.
"I can handle this." Sonic argued.
He then turned to see the Tornado, Rainbow, and Twilight land on the roof. They all then walked over to him, "We know you can, silly. But that doesn't mean you have to do it alone." Pinkie said.
"Yeah, don't think you can hog all of the action!!!" Rainbow said.
"We're with you until the end, darling." Rarity inputted.
Twilight smirked and walked closer to the hedgehog, "In other words, you're stuck with us."
Sonic sighed, but then he smiled, "Alright then, let's do it, to it!"
"Aw, how sweet." Eggman said as the Egg Cybernese approached the factory. "I was hoping to finish Sonic one on one, but if you wish to stand together..." The mech then roared as everyone got into a battle stance, "THEN YOU CAN DIE TOGETHER!!!"
The mech then dived down and and its torso spun in a circular motion with its claws outstretched, trying to hit the heroes. Everyone jumped out of the way as the mech passed them all. The Egg Cybernese then shot back up into the air and roared. It then began charging up a mouth beam. The mech fired the beam and it tore straight down the middle of the roof, everyone either rolled or jumped out of the way of the laser.
Rainbow and Twilight then flew up and got right in the mechs face, Twilight fired a beam of magic from her horn and hit the cockpit, while Rainbow uppercutted the mechs chin, sending it back and landing on the roof on its back.
"NO!!! GET UP, GET UP, GET UP!!!" Eggman shouted in desperation.
As the mech tried to get back up, Applejack made her way towards the cockpit and bucked it so hard the glass cracked, angering Eggman even more.
"YOU COUNTRY HICK!!!" The doctor shouted in anger.
Pinkie then fired her Party Cannon at the cockpit, covering it in confetti, blinding Eggman.
"WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?!!!"
Rarity then shot a blast of magic at the cockpit, damaging it even more, while Fluttershy got right in Eggman's face and stared. Eggman for some reason felt pity, but then shook it off and screamed, "GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU WITCH!!!"
The mech then shot upwards and roared, "YOU ALL THINK YOU CAN BEST ME?! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU ANNOYANCES!!! THIS. ENDS. NOW!!!" Eggman shouted as he went for another spinning attack, only this time, the machs palms were open and each of them fired a green laser beam.
The heroes each had to duck, jump, or roll out of the laser's way so they wouldn't get hit. Once the mech had finished its attack, Eggman growled in anger because none of them were dead.
Sonic then looked to Tails, "Hey, bud. Get me up there."
Tails smiled as he grabbed Sonic's hands and began spinning his two tails. As the pair floated up towards the head of the mech, Eggman smiled evilly, "Finally, at last. Just you and me, hedgehog!!!"
"Awe, you do care about me, EggHead." Sonic smirked as Eggman growled in anger.
Tails and Sonic reached the head of the mech and were facing the mad doctor, who growled angrily, "SHUT UP AND DIE!!!"
The mech then began charging its mouth beam. Tails then began swinging Sonic around in a circular motion before letting him go. Before the mech could fire its mouth beam, Sonic curled into a ball and hit the mech inside of its mouth with a Homing Attack, disabling the laser and causing green electricity to surround the entirety of the Egg Cybernese.
"You. You! You.... YOU HORRID LITTLE HEDGEHOG!!!" Eggman shouted as Tails caught Sonic again and began spinning around again. Tails then let Sonic go and the hedgehog then hit the cockpit with a Homing Attack, finishing the mech off for good.
Tails caught Sonic and the pair landed down on the roof and regrouped with their friends as the Egg Cybernese began to explode. Eggman growled as his Egg Mobile departed from the exploding mech. As the mech fell down to the ground below the clouds, Eggman glared at the group of heroes.

"Hmph, it doesn't matter anyway. Once Phase 2 is complete, you will all be erased from the face of reality!!! I swear it, just you wait." Eggman said to the group of heroes.
He then flew away in his Egg Mobile as the heroes looked to each other confused, "Phase 2? What's Phase 2?" Twilight asked.
"I don't know, but it can't be anything good." Sonic said.
"We'll stop that meanie before that happens, right guys?" Pinkie asked hopefully.
Sonic smiled and gave her a thumbs up, "You bet! Come on, we gotta get to this 'Changeling Hive' and shut down that Roboticizer."
The group nodded and walked towards the plane. Everyone hopped aboard but Sonic stopped and looked at the group with a smile. Twilight was right, he didn't have to beat Eggman alone and he was stuck with them. And you bet that he sure is glad that he is.
The Tornado landed just on the outskirts of the Changeling Kingdom on a nearby mountain. Everyone hopped out of the plane and began walking towards the edge of the mountain cliff. Sonic glanced to his left and noticed a look of uncertainty on Twilight's face.
"Hey, you okay, Twi?" Sonic asked concerned about his friends wellbeing.
Twilight gave him a kind smile in return, "I'm fine, Sonic. I'm just wondering what Robotnik meant by 'Phase 2'. It's been eating at me ever since we beat the Egg Cybernese."
"Whatever it is, it can't be good." Tails inputted.
"I'm gonna admit somethin' to y'all. That Eggman fella kinda scares me." Applejack admitted.
"Really? Why?" Pinkie asked.
"Well don't get me wrong, we have faced our fair share of villains in the past. But there's something about this guy that actually makes me worry if we can beat him or not. The only time I've felt like this was when The Legion of Doom attacked." Applejack explained.
"I.... know what you mean." Rainbow admitted, sort of embarrassed.
Everyone looked at her in shock, Rainbow Dash just admitted that she felt scared at what Eggman could do to Equestria.
Rainbow blushed in embarrassment, "What?! Look, the thing with EggHead is that he has weapons and machines we have never seen before. The kind of stuff that could seriously damage, or worse, destroy our home. And Eggman seems like the type of guy to do anything to win. And I mean, ANYTHING."
"You're right about that. Back when we first met, Eggman's main goal was world domination. Don't get me wrong, it still is, but nowadays if I'm in the picture at all, he will risk everything to make sure I'm dead. Even if there is a chance that we will both die from our battle, Eggman throws survival out of the window, he's main focus is to win. And trust me when I say, he as at his most dangerous when he has that kind of mentality." Sonic said.
The ponies stared at him in shock. To think someone could hate so much, that they would put their life at risk to make sure that their most hated enemy died.
"It seem that Eggman really hates you." Fluttershy stated.
"I didn't even know somepony could hate someone so much." Rarity inputted.
'Well, we've been doing this little dance of ours for nearly 30 years. I'm surprised he hasn't had a mental breakdown yet." Sonic said.
"I have theorised before that the only thing that keeps Eggman going is his hatred for you. I mean over the years, Eggman's robots have become more deadly than they were before. It's like the thought of seeing you dead keeps him going." Tails said.
"Huh, that actually makes a lot of sense." Sonic said as they continued walking.
They eventually made it to the edge of the cliff and saw what became of the Changeling Kingdom. It had been completely Roboticized. The cave leading up to Thorax's throne had become a fully functional Roboticizer with Roboticized Changelings and other creatures exiting the entrance.
The Roboticizer was being guarded by an army of newly upgraded Swatbots.
The ponies gaped at how fast Eggman had set all this up, "How could he set all this up so fast?" Twilight asked her hedgehog friend.
"You think this is fast, you should see how fast he builds a Death Egg. What was the record time for how fast he built a new one after we destroyed an old model, Tails?" Sonic asked his best friend.
"I think it was a week." Tails replied.
"Woah, look at those robots down there." Pinkie pointed out.
"Swatbots, haven't seen those in a while." Sonic stated.
"It looks like he upgraded them." Tails pointed out.
"Yeah, that armour doesn't look easy to break." Sonic said.
Suddenly, the one in charge of this Roboticizer flew down from the top of the former cave and landed down near the Swatbots. The ponies gasped as they saw it was none other than a Roboticized Chrysalis.
"Chrysalis." Twilight said in a hushed whisper.
"Seems like she got an upgrade." Rainbow said.
Chrysalis turned around to see a Swatbot approaching her with King Thorax seized by his throat. The Swatbot threw him down to the ground harshly. Thorax looked up and saw Chrysalis glaring down at him.
"C...Chrysalis?" Thorax asked in a confused tone.
Chrysalis then moved her newly weaponized tail towards Thorax's throat and held it there. Her eyes glowed as Thorax's eyes became fearful.
"She's going to kill him!" Applejack yelled.
"We have to save him!!!" Spike yelled in a hysteric manner.
Sonic had seen enough and dashed down there to save the Changeling king. The rest of the group then followed his example and rushed down there.
Thorax then closed his eyes and braced himself. Chrysalis was about to finish him off, when suddenly she was struck in the side by a Spin Dash and sent into a wall.
All the Swatbots turned to see Sonic standing there in a battle stance. Sonic then turned to Thorax as he opened his eyes. Sonic extended a hand to help him up, "You alright?"
"Y..yes, thank you." Thorax then placed his hoof in his hand and was helped to his hooves, "Who are you?"
Sonic smiled, "A friend."
The rest of the heroes arrived and regrouped with Sonic.
"Girls?! What are you doing here?" Thorax asked.
"Saving your flank, that's what." Rainbow said as she smirked.
"PRIORITY ONE HEDGEHOG SPOTTED. PREPARE FOR TERMINATION. " All the Swatbots said simultaneously.
The Swatbots approached and raised their right arms, their wrist gauntlets raised up and a laser gun emerged on each of their wrists. They opened fire upon their enemies, the heroes spread out to dodge the blasts.

As Sonic looked at a horde of Swatbots approaching him, he failed to notice Chrysalis rise up behind him and glare. He was then sent flying by a whip of Chrysalis' tail. He landed on his feet a skidded to a stop and glared at the robotic Changeling. Twilight saw Sonic was about to battle Chrysalis and decided to do something, "Guys! I'm going to help Sonic, you all deal with these things!" Twilight shouted over the loud footsteps of the Swatbots.
They all nodded as Twilight flew over to Sonic, who briefly glanced at the alicorn.
"What are you doing here?" Sonic asked.
"Making sure you don't get killed." Twilight said as she smirked.
Sonic chuckled and then turned to face Chrysalis, "Good enough for me."
Chrysalis then flew forward and swung at the pair, who simply jumped or flew out of the way. Chrysalis turned to Twilight and shot a beam from her horn, Twilight placed a protective shield around herself, which took the hit from the beam. Sonic took this opportunity to hit Chrysalis with a Homing Attack, which sent her skidding across the ground.
"Anyone got any Bug Spray handy?" Sonic joked, which caused Twilight to slightly giggle.
Chrysalis then took to the air and opened her mouth. She then spat out some green acid at the hedgehog multiple times, Sonic simply dashed from side to side, avoiding the attacks. As Sonic moved, he blew her a raspberry, he yawned, and he tapped his foot impatiently.
Twilight then flew towards the robotic Changeling in hopes of tackling her to the ground, but Chrysalis saw this coming and whacked her with her tail, sending Twilight to the floor.
"Ow." Twilight said as she got back up.
Sonic then leaped into the air and tried hitting her with another Homing Attack, but Chrysalis swayed to the left, avoiding the attack. Sonic landed and turned to see Chrysalis heading right towards him. Sonic then backflipped, kicking her in the jaw in the process. Chrysalis was sent through the air, giving Twilight the opportunity to knock her to the ground with a beam of magic.
"What a combo!!!" Sonic said excitedly.
Chrysalis then shot up into the air and clung herself onto a nearby wall.
"This isn't over yet!" Twilight said.
Chrysalis then aimed her tail at the pair and fired a green beam at the two heroes. They spread out as Chrysalis shot another beam at Twilight, then at Sonic, then at Twilight again, then Sonic once more. She then leaped off the wall and flipped through the air and landed on the ground, creating a green shockwave that sent the two back.
Chrysalis then took flight once more and fired a beam from her horn which tore through the ground. Twilight teleported behind the robotic Changeling and tired to hit her with her hoof, but Chrysalis ducked under the attack and blasted Twilight with her horn, sending her to the ground.
Chrysalis then flew to another position and fired a beam at Sonic, who was currently running forward towards the Changeling. The beam ceased and Sonic leaped into the air and hit Chrysalis with a Homing Attack, sending her to the floor.
Sonic ran over to Twilight and helped her to her hooves while Chrysalis got back up and glared at the pair.
Meanwhile, the heroes were struggling with the Swatbots as their armour just wouldn't break. No matter what any of them did, they just wouldn't break apart. Tails then took to the air and pulled out his Miles Electric and scanned the robots for any weaknesses. The Miles Electric that the specific armour they were using was weak to lightning. Tails then got an idea, "Rainbow, you said pegasi control the weather, right?"
"Yeah, so?"
"We need lightning, now!!!"
Rainbow nodded and flew up to the sky and gathered up as many clouds as she could, while the Swatbots all regrouped and began walking towards the group of heroes. Rainbow smirked, "This is about to get real shocking!!!"
Rainbow then stomped her hooves on the clouds and lightning shot from said clouds. The lightning hit the Swatbots and they began twitching as electricity surrounded their bodies. The Swatbots then shut down and collapsed to the ground like ragdolls.
Rainbow landed as the group turned to her with deadpanned looks on their faces, "What?"
"Dashie, leave the jokes and puns to me, okay?" Pinkie said as Rainbow pouted.
Meanwhile, Chrysalis smacked Sonic away with her tail and blasted Twilight away with a beam from her horn. Chrysalis took flight again and fired more beams at the pair. With barely any time to recover, they struggled to dodge the attacks but managed, barely.
"What do we do?" Sonic asked.
Twilight thought for a moment before turning to her friend, "We don't give her room to think."
"How do we do that?"
"By attacking at the same time."
Sonic smirked and nodded as they both rose up. Chrysalis then charged forward and landed in between the two, she turned to Twilight, only to be hit by a Homing Attack. She turned again, only to be blasted from behind by Twilight, launching her towards Sonic, who roundhoused kicked her into the air. Twilight flew up and punched her in the face, sending her through the air, Sonic hit her with another Homing Attack to the gut, launching her into the sky.
Twilight teleported into the air and began charging up a beam as Chrysalis approached her.
"Chrysalis, you're grounded!!!" Twilight shouted as she fired her beam below her, sending Chrysalis down towards the ground at high speeds.
She crashed onto the ground and a crater formed where she landed. As the smoke cleared, her eyes ceased glowing, she was down for the count.

When Twilight landed, Sonic walked over a raised his fist for a fist bump, to which Twilight bumped with her hoof, "Heh, heh. Grounded, nice." Sonic said.
The rest of their friends approached the two and regrouped, "Alright, that takes care of those ruffians. But what about that horrid Robot thing?" Rarity asked.
"The Roboticizer is still dangerous, we have to make sure it isn't used again. But I don't have the proper tools to shut it down, they're back at my workshop in Mobius." Tails said.
"I can take care of that, my Changelings and I can make sure not only that this thing isn't used again, but we can also make sure Chrysalis doesn't go anywhere." Thorax said.
Spike walked over and hugged his friend, "Thanks, Thorax."
Thorax returned the hug and smiled at his friend.
Sonic then turned to his friends, "Alright, the bug's been zapped and the Roboticizer has been taken care of. We have one more factory to take care of, then we take the fight to Eggman."
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's trash it!!!" Rainbow exclaimed.
Thorax waved the group goodbye as they approached the plane, Twilight thought to herself and smiled, "Watch out, Robotnik. I'm coming to claim my kingdom back."
Tails flew the Tornado through the sky leading towards the Badlands, Sonic was standing on the wing, Rainbow was flying next to the Tornado and the rest of the group were inside the Tornado. Tails then picked up a signal, they were getting closer to the Weapons Factory.
"We're approaching the Weapons Factory, get ready." Tails said.
Sonic smirked as he could see the factory in the distance. This Factory had a unique look to it, it looked like a mechanical Pyramid.
"Okay, I would really like to know how EggHead manages to build these giant factories and facilities so fast!!!" Rainbow shouted in annoyance.
"I have to agree, it doesn't really make any sense." Twilight inputted.
"Well duh, it's like that so the plot can move along." Pinkie blurted out.
Everyone looked to her in confusion, Sonic looked to Twilight for clarification, "We stopped questioning it, years ago." Twilight said.
Sonic shrugged and looked to Tails, "Alright buddy, so what can we expect from this place?"
"A lot of fire power. According to my scans, this is the most fortified facility yet." Tails informed them.
"So, expect a lot of bad guys?" Pinkie asked.
"Yep." Sonic said while nodding his head.
"Gotcha. So, what're we waiting for?" Rainbow asked.
"She's right. The longer we take, the more time Robotnik has to enact 'Phase 2', whatever that is." Twilight said.
"Well then, let's wreck the place." Applejack inputted.
"Couldn't have said it better myself." Sonic said.
Suddenly, the eye of the pyramid opened and a swarm of wasp Badniks and flying Egg Pawns came flying out of the pyramid. Tails boosted the plane forward and Rainbow followed, the robots fired a multitude of shots at the Tornado, but Tails swayed left and right to avoid the shots.
Rainbow boosted forward and plowed through some of the flying armada, Sonic used a Homing Attack to destroy some of the enemies blocking their path and landed back on the wing of the plane. Tails then fired two rockets at the group of enemies, destroying them instantly.
The cannons on the ground aimed towards the Tornado and began firing. Tails had to swerve left and right to avoid the projectiles. Rainbow then dived down and plowed through the cannons, destroying them.
"Tails, the eye of the pyramid's closing!" Spike said in an alarmed tone.
It was true, the eye of the pyramid was closing, Tails then boosted forward with Rainbow following behind. As they flew, secret panels on the pyramid opened up and revealed several laser guns. They fired at the heroes and said heroes were having difficulty getting through.
The eye was almost shut, Tails then gritted his teeth and boosted forward and Rainbow did the same. Swaying through all the lasers and cutting it real close, they just made it in the eye of the pyramid as it shut.
"WOO HOO!!! THAT. WAS. AMAZING!!!" Pinkie screamed excitedly.

The Tornado and Rainbow Dash flew through the Weapons Factory and eventually found a platform to land on. Rainbow landed first, obviously, and the Tornado was set down gently. Everyone exited the plane and walked over to Rainbow, who was looking around for any hidden dangers.
"This place is scary." Fluttershy said fearfully.
"I know, this place gives me the creeps." Applejack replied.
"Golly, if that's how you feel then you aren't gonna like this next bit!"
Suddenly, a shadow loomed over the heroes, they looked up and immediately moved out of the way. The giant robot landed harshly on the ground in a crouched position. The robot rose up and glared at the heroes.
The ponies gaped at the size of the robot while Sonic and Tails simply glared at it.
Suddenly, the robots visor opened up to reveal Cozy Glow, who was piloting the robot, "Hey there, Headmare Twilight."
"COZY GLOW?!" The ponies and Spike all screamed in shock.
"You all like my new toy? Courtesy of Mr. Eggman. The Egg Juggernaut!!!" Cozy stated to the heroes.
"Wait, back up a sec. Is that a kid up there?" Sonic asked while pointing towards said filly.
"Yeah, that's Cozy Glow." Spike said.
Sonic stood there for a moment before bursting out into a hysterical fit of laughter, much to everyone's confusion.
"HEY!!! WHAT'S SO FUNNY?!" Cozy asked angrily.
"Wait, you're telling me that one of your arch enemies, IS A KID?!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Sonic continued to laugh hysterically, much to everyone's annoyance.
"YOU'D BETTER STOP LAUGHING RIGHT NOW OR YOU'LL REGRET IT!!!"
"Ahaha. Kid, isn't it past your bedtime?" Sonic said while giggling.
"THAT DOES IT!!!!" Cozy screamed as the visor closed.
The mech opened its palm and fired a laser at the hedgehog, who simply sped out of the way. The mech got into a battle stance, as did the heroes.
Tails then gave Sonic a deadpanned look, "You had to set off the psychopathic filly, didn't you?"
"Hey, in my defence, it was really funny." Sonic said.
The Egg Juggernaut then flew into the air and then stomped back down onto the ground, creating a massive shockwave. Everyone was sent back by the shockwave but recovered. Sonic and Rainbow began to run and fly around the feet of the mech but Cozy stomped its foot on the platform, sending the two back.
Cozy then flew into the air and flew a little distance away from the platform. She then raised the wrists of the mech and opened its palms, the fingertips opened and fired a multitude of heat seeking missiles.
"HEAT SEEKING MISSILES!!!" Tails exclaimed.
"What does that mean?" Rarity asked.
"IT MEANS THEY FOLLOW YOU, RUN!!!" Sonic exclaimed as the missiles approached.
Everyone then spread out as the missiles followed each of them. Cozy smiled and dashed forward and got closer to the platform.
Sonic saw this and got an idea, "Guys, head for the mechs chest and then move out of the way!!!"
Everyone nodded and made their way towards Cozy.
"What are you doing?" Cozy asked.
Once everyone was close enough, Sonic quickly turned slightly and tackled everyone out of the way as the missiles hit the mechs chest, causing it to tip back slightly and then lean on the platform as it began to recharge.
"HEY!!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
Sonic then began hitting the mech with a multitude of Homing Attacks, Rainbow was hitting the mech from all sides at high speeds, Pinkie was throwing cupcakes at the mech, Rarity was firing some magic from her horn, Fluttershy stayed back a few metres, not wanting to get hurt. Applejack bucked the mech in the chest as hard as she could and Twilight, Tails, and Spike were flying around the mech, firing blasts from an arm cannon, firing blasts from an alicorn horn or breathing green fire at the mech.
"Keep going!!!" Sonic shouted as they all attacked the mech.
The mech recharged and slammed its fist down onto the platform, sending everybody back.
"THAT WASN'T VERY NICE!!!" Cozy shouted.
"Oh, please. You're the last pony to be lecturing us on being nice!!!" Twilight shouted.
The mech then flew back away from the platform. It then charged back, but it was positioned for a shoulder charge. Cozy shoulder charged the platform, causing everyone to fall down.
"Golly, this sure is fun. But I'm ending this!!!" Cozy said as she raised both fists into the air and brought them down on the platform.
Sonic saw this coming and jumped in the air as the fists were brought down onto the platform. He then air dashed onto the left fist and ran up its arm.
"HEY!!! GET OFF!!!"
Sonic jumped onto the shoulder and then curled up into a ball and hit the visor of the mech with a Homing Attack, damaging it even more. As Sonic untucked in mid air, he then curled up again and hit the chest of the mech with another Homing Attack, damaging it even more.
Sonic landed on the platform with the rest of his friends. The mech was badly damaged and began to lean on the platform again.
"THIS USELESS PIECE OF JUNK!!!" Cozy shouted in annoyance.
Twilight then flew up to the head of the mech and encased it in a bubble, she looked back and saw Sonic and Rainbow race to the opposite edge of the platform. The two then smirked at one another as they dashed towards the mech. Sonic curled into a Spin Dash while Rainbow pushed her forelegs forward, the two then plowed right through the mechs chest as Twilight used her magic bubble to pull the head of the mech off.
Rainbow caught Sonic as he was falling and placed him back on the platform. The mech exploded and fell to the darkness below.

Twilight placed the head of the mech on the platform and used her magic to open it up. Cozy turned and smiled nervously at the group of heroes who were currently glaring at her.
"Uh, you wouldn't hurt a little filly now would you?" Cozy smiled nervously.
Twilight then charged her horn and Cozy was encased in a bubble and was lifted out of the mechs head.
"It's over, Cozy. You lost." Twilight said.
"I would agree, if it weren't for this!!! IHATETHATHEDGEHOG1993!!!" Cozy shouted.
Suddenly, the alarm started blaring throughout the factory, signalling for everyone to get outta there.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Twilight shouted.
"Golly, I merely just activated the detonation code." Cozy smiled evilly.
"WE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE. Y'ALL!!!" Applejack shouted.
Everyone made their way to the plane and hopped aboard with Cozy in custody. Tails then took off as fast as he could, as they flew, Sonic turned around and saw multiple explosions behind him.
"WE'RE RUNNING OUTTA TIME HERE TAILS!!!" Sonic shouted in alarm.
They reached the eye of the pyramid, only to see that it was closed. Tails fired multiple rockets at the eye of the pyramid and it exploded, giving them their needs of escape. As they flew out of the pyramid, the entirety of the factory exploded in a blaze of glory, destroying the last factory in Eggman's arsenal.
Rainbow flew next to the Tornado and looked at Twilight, "So, all the factories are destroyed. Question is, what do we do now?"
"We make sure Cozy doesn't go anywhere, then we take the fight to Robotnik." Twilight replied with a determined look on her face.
The group of heroes walked inside the doors to the Castle of Friendship, with Cozy Glow following behind in her bubble prison. They walked into the Cutie Map room and the girls, plus Spike took their seats while Sonic stood next to Rainbow's chair and Tails stood next to Fluttershy's chair. Twilight set Cozy Glow to the side and begun the meeting.
"Alright, we have destroyed every single one of Robotnik's facilities. This should hinder his plans long enough for us to strike and reclaim Canterlot." Twilight stated.
"Well, what are we waiting for then? Let's go get him and end this!!!" Rainbow said impatiently.
"I agree with Dash. Let's crack that EggHead wide open!!!" Sonic agreed.
Tails shook his head, "I'm afraid it's not gonna be that simple, guys."
"Why not? It's just like every other time we fight Eggman. He creates a nearly impenetrable base, we head over to said base, trash it, Eggman reveals himself, unveils his plan, we stop said plan, Eggman comes back in a giant robot, I go Super and trash said robot, I hate that hedgehog, and BAM!!! What's different this time?" Sonic asked.
"Well for one, we don't have the Emeralds." Tails deadpanned.
"Oh yeah." Sonic said disappointedly.
"And two, he has his whole Egg Armada with him to back him up. If we are gonna have any chance of beating Eggman, we need to play it smart, and work together." Tails explained.
"That's not gonna be hard, I mean, we beat every single one of Eggman's Egg Bosses and absolutely demolished his facilities by working together. I think we got that in the bag." Sonic said confidently.
"Trust us, with our awesomeness combined, there's no way that EggHead is gonna beat us. We got this." Rainbow inputted cockily.
Tails and everyone else gave them both deadpanned looks. Tails and Twilight turned to one another, "The similarities are killing me." Twilight said as she rubbed he forehead with her hoof.
"Tell me about it." Tails agreed while pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Look, y'all. We're gonna need to come up with a plan if we're gonna have any chance of takin' Canterlot back, yer hear?" Applejack inputted to the conversation.
"I concur, darling." Rarity said.
Sonic and Rainbow Dash turned to one another and sighed, "Fine, we'll come up with a plan, but we're still gonna look awesome." Rainbow said as she huffed.
"Probably best we do come up with a plan anyway." Sonic agreed.
"Okay good, cause I think I have a plan." Tails smiled confidently.
"Alright, Tails, you have the floor." Twilight said.
Tails nodded and cleared his throat, "Okay, the thing we should focus on before even thinking about going after Eggman is getting the Emeralds back. Which are located in the Death Egg Mark II. This way we can kill two birds with one stone." Fluttershy flinched at that, causing Tails to chuckle awkwardly, "Heh heh, sorry. What I mean is, we can disable Eggman's battlestation and we can get the Emeralds as an ace up our sleeve."
"Then we take the fight to that big fat egg meanie pants." Pinkie finished.
"Exactly. Eggman loses his greatest weapon against us, and we get the Emeralds." Tails said.
"Pardon me, darling. But, why don't we just destroy that ugly moon?" Rarity asked.
"Because it's our only means of getting home. We were only able to come here in the first place thanks to Eggman's technology and the Emeralds power. If we were to go through without the Emeralds and Eggman's tech to harness their power, then we would be torn apart atom by atom." Tails explained.
"Yeah, i'd like to stay intact, thank you very much." Sonic said.
"Once we have the Emeralds, then we take the fight to Eggman himself." Tails said.
"And finish this once and for all." Twilight finished for him.
"Um, excuse me? But what do we do with Cozy Glow?" Fluttershy asked.
Twilight glanced over to the sociopathic filly and then turned to her shy friend, "I'll let Starlight keep an eye on her until this is over."
"HEY!!! I CAN HEAR YOU!!!" Cozy shouted.
Completely ignoring the evil filly, Twilight spoke to her friends once more, "Okay, our path is clear. We head to Canterlot, find a way into the Death Egg, take the Chaos Emeralds, and then stop Robotnik."
Everyone nodded and Twilight smiled before replacing the look on her face with a determined one, "Let's finish this."
Meanwhile on the Death Egg Mark II, Eggman was overlooking Orbot and Cubot, who were typing code into their monitors. Orbot then floated over towards his master, "Sir, I've just been informed that all your facilities have been, um, destroyed."
Eggman then smiled, "Hehehehehe, OH HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO!!!"
Orbot and Cubot looked at each other confused
"I think he finally lost it." Cubot stated.
"Heh heh. Those fools may think they have me beat by destroying my facilities. But what they don't know is that they did exactly what I wanted them to." Eggman revealed.
"You mean you wanted them to utterly humiliate you, like Sonic always does?" Cubot asked.
Eggman glared at the cubed shaped robot, "NO, YOU DUMBBOT!!! I needed them distracted so I could get the preparations for Phase 2 in order. Granted the Egg Cybernese wasn't supposed to fail, but I digress. Now, Phase 2 is finally ready to launch. ORBOT, LAUNCH THE SATELLITES!!!" Eggman ordered.
Orbot saluted and pressed a big red button. Outside the Death Egg Mark II, multiple satellites launched from the battlestation and flew up into the outer atmosphere of Equis. They then spread out across the planet and stopped when each satellite hovered above their assigned position above the planet. The satellites then opened up and came online.
Back inside the Death Egg Mark II, Orbot got an alert notifying him that everything went according to plan.
"Satellites are fully operational, boss." Orbot informed the mad doctor.
"Perfect." Eggman said as he walked to the centre of the room, where a cylinder containing the seven Chaos Emeralds rose up from the ground, "Now, begin overcharging the Emeralds."
Orbot floated over and pressed some keys on the command pad. Once Orbot tapped the last key, the Emeralds inside the cylinder were surrounded by red electricity, then the Emeralds themselves began crackling with red electricity. Eggman laughed maniacally, "OH HO HO HO HO HO HO HO!!! Once the Emeralds are overcharged, my machine will be fully charged, and Phase 2 will be completed!"
The two robots clapped at their master's success, he turned to the two and bowed with a wicked smile on his face.
Eggman then stood upright and looked as Orbot, "Orbot, did Squadron 5 find the remains of Metal Dash and Mecha Twilight?"
"About that, boss. Mecha Twilight was found, but was extremely damaged. But we were able to repair her and she's fully operational. Metal Dash on the other hand was damaged beyond repair." Orbot reported.
"Eh, she was a prototype anyway. Meant to be tested while the real thing was being completed. Speaking of which." Eggman then walked over to a computer console and pressed a button.
Suddenly, the door leading into the room opened up and six red lifeless eyes glared into the room. The mechs then stepped into the room.
Eggman smiled evilly as The Metal Six stepped forward.
"Behold, the very things that will give the Element Bearers a run for their money. The Metal Six!!!" Eggman announced, "These six will keep the Element Bearers and that annoying hedgehog distracted long enough for Phase 2 to be completed. They all should be here very soon. I WILL HAVE THE LAST LAUGH!!!"
Orbot looked confused, "Have the last laugh? What's good about that? Isn't that like being the last to get the joke?"
"I laugh last all the time! And people look at me like I'm an idiot." Cubot added.
Eggman glared at the dumb robot, "That's because you ARE AN IDIOT!!!"
Eggman sighed and face palmed, "Oh lord, help me." Eggman dragged his hand down his face, but then smiled evilly at the thought of his victory, "That's right, hedgehog. Bring me the very things I need to win."
The Tornado flew through the dark clouds in the sky, thunder and lightning roaring in the sky the heroes flew through. Sonic glanced back and saw Twilight, who looked a little disheartened. A look of worry appeared on his face as he looked at the alicorn.
"Twi, what's wrong?" Sonic asked.
Twilight sighed and looked at the speedy blue hedgehog with sadness etched in her eyes, "I'm meant to be the Princess of Equestria, the pony everypony looks to for guidance, to lead them into the future. But as soon as I step into the role of princess, I lose the capital of Equestria and a madman is on a warpath for the conquest of not only one world, but two!!! And I feel like I'm not enough to save one world, let alone two. Some Princess of Equestria I turned out to be."
Sonic looked at the mare, who had tears brimming the edge of her eyes. Sonic sighed and looked down to his feet.
"You know, when Eggman first appeared. No-one could stop him, he just took and took and no-one did a thing to stop him. I decided that enough was enough and stood up to him. I made sure to send him packing. But when he came back with newer Badniks, I thought that this would be too much for me to handle. But that's when I met Tails. He and I bonded and worked together to stop Eggman. And we've been doing that ever since." Sonic said as he turned to Twilight.
He smiled at the mare and continued, "My point is, Twi. Is that one hedgehog or pony alone is never enough. That's why I have Tails and my other friends. That's why you have your friends. That's why you have me."
"You're never alone, sugarcube." Applejack said as she smiled kindly.
"We're with you until the end, darling." Rarity said.
"I'll always be there for you, Twilight." Fluttershy said as she also smiled kindly.
"Yeah, you're one of my bestest, most best friends, Twilight!!!" Pinkie Pie beamed happily.
"Yeah, you know I never leave my friends hanging." Rainbow Dash said.
"I'm here for you, Twilight." Spike said as he hugged Twilight.
"I've got your back." Tails said.
"We all do." Sonic finished off as he gave her a thumbs up.
Twilight cried tears of joy and smiled. She then wiped the tears away and continued to smile, "Thank you. Thank you all. I couldn't ask for better friends than all of you."
They all smiled in return as they continued forward towards Canterlot.
Meanwhile, Eggman sat on his throne on the Death Egg Mark II, staring at a monitor in front of him. It displayed the Tornado, approaching Canterlot at high speeds. Eggman then stood from his throne and turned to the Metal Six.
"You all know your assignments!!! Make sure nobody, and I mean NOBODY, interferes with Phase 2!!! Do not fail me!!!" Eggman ordered.
The Metal Six nodded and each flew out of the room.
Eggman then sat back down and pressed a button on the arm of his throne and belayed an order, "RELEASE THE EGG FLEET!!!"
Outside the battlestation, several ships flew through the storm clouds and hovered above Canterlot, ready for the incoming battle.
Eggman saw this on his monitor and stood from his throne, "Heh heh heh heh. OH HO HO HO HO HO HO HO!!!"

The Tornado was getting close to Canterlot, in fact they were so close that Canterlot was in view.
Rainbow Dash looked determined, "This is it." She then looked back towards her friends, "You guys ready?"
They each gave a nod while Sonic gave a thumbs up. Twilight then teleported out of the plane and flapped her wings next to Rainbow, keeping her in the air.
She gave her friends one last look before turning around and looking at Canterlot, "Let's finish this!"
The Tornado boosted through the sky with Rainbow and Twilight leading the group towards Canterlot. The heroes gazed their eyes on the Egg Fleet, their faces had a look of shock before it turned to a look of determination. The Egg Fleet flew forward and began firing on the heroes. The Tornado swayed left and right and returned fire, Rainbow boosted forward and tore through multiple cannons on one of the ships in the Egg Fleet.
Twilight fired a beam of magic from her horn, it tore down the middle of one of the ships, tearing it in half. With one ship destroyed, the Tornado boosted through and fired multiple missiles at the Egg Fleet, doing severe damage to the fleets weapons.
The Tornado flew over one of the ships and Sonic jumped off the wing of the Tornado. He did some flips and landed on the ship, with one knee on the ground and one knee in a kneeling position. He then stood up and dashed forward, the cannons on the ship fired on the hedgehog, Sonic swayed left and right to avoid the multiple explosions around him. He then leaped into the air and performed multiple Homing Attacks on multiple cannons, destroying them. Sonic then continued running and trashing the airship until he had had enough and jumped into the air and performed a Homing Attack on the command deck.
Sonic then landed back down and saw that the ship he was on was beginning to explode. He decided to think fast and run to the edge of the ship and jump off of it. He curled into a ball and dashed through the air and landed on the closest ship.
Rainbow moved up and down through the ship, causing several explosions as she plowed through. She then tore through the ship and flew out of the end of the ship and hovered mid air. She turned around and saw the ship she tore through begin to explode.
She smirked and was about to make her way to the next ship, but she was suddenly tackled to a ship below her. She landed harshly, bouncing and rolling to a stop. She looked up and saw the one who had tackled her. It was an improved version of Metal Dash.
The two glared at each other, "Oh, look who's back. So, you wanna go for another round, huh? FINE BY ME!!!"
Rainbow then flew up towards her metal copy.
Meanwhile in the Tornado, Tails saw Rainbow and Metal Dash charge towards each other. He was about to assist, when suddenly, Mecha Twilight landed on the wing of the plane and charged her horn, ready to kill Tails. She would've succeeded had it not been for Twilight, who tackled her to the ship below.
"WHAT IN TARNATION?!" Applejack yelled in confusion.
They all glanced down to the ship below and saw a sight that shook them. They saw the Metal Six, glaring at the plane.
"Eggman made metal duplicates of you!!!" Tails stated.
Applejack then turned to her friends, who each had a stern look on their faces, except for Fluttershy, who had a worried look on her face. Applejack then turned to Tails, "Tails, take us down there. Spike, stay here, ya here?"
Spike nodded as Tails flew down towards the ship. Tails couldn't land the plane, unless he wanted to risk being shot, so he opened the glass that protected them and dived down just low enough for the ponies to jump out. They each jumped out, Applejack landing on her feet while the rest tumbled to a stop.
They looked and saw Pinkie coming down with a parachute with her face on it. She landed down as her friends stared in confusion.
Rainbow then came crashing down and landed harshly next to her friends. She got up as Twilight teleported next to them. They all stood together and glared at their metal counterparts.

Pinkie then decided to break the silence, "Imitation is the best form of flattery."
Rainbow then gritted her teeth, "Let's trash these posers!!!"
They all nodded and got into a crouched position, ready to fight. Sonic saw this from the ship he was on and was about to help, but decided against it and continued destroying the remaining ships, this was the girls fight.
The two teams glared at each other before charging at one another. The two teams met as thunder struck in the background. They met in the middle and spread out, each fighting their respective counterparts.
Pinkie bounced as her robotic counterpart landed with force. Metal Pinkie's hoof suddenly changed into a gatling gun, she raised her hoof prepared to fire.
"Hey, that's random!!! He got me just right." Pinkie said before bouncing away.
Metal Pinkie fired her gun and followed Pinkie as she bounced, each shot she fired missing. Pinkie then pulled out a barrage of cupcakes and hurled them at her metal counterpart. Metal Pinkie shot at the tasty treats, destroying them. She then changed her hoof back and flew forward, Pinkie then somehow bounced so high into the air that she jumped over the metal mare.
"Missed me!"
Metal Pinkie landed and turned around to face Pinkie. Suddenly, two cannons emerged from her sides and she fired at the party pony. Pinkie then ran forward and slid under the cannon balls and leaped into the air and slammed a cupcake in Metal Pinkie's face.
Pinkie then turned and bucked her across the ship. Metal Pinkie rolled to a stop before getting up again. She then flew up into the air and fired lasers from her eyes at the party pony. Pinkie bounced around as she dodged the laser. Pinkie then pulled out her Party Cannon and fired at the metal pony.
Metal Pinkie was then wrapped in wrapping paper, limiting her movement. Pinkie then reloaded her cannon and was for some reason in an army uniform.
She saluted and fired a massive cake at the metal creation. The cake hit the metal mare, the frosting falling into her circuits. Metal Pinkie began to short circuit as yellow electricity began surrounding her. She then exploded in mid air, ending her for good.
"Thanks for the play date!!!" Pinkie shouted.
Mecha Rarity glared at the fashionista, Rarity doing the same to her metallic counterpart. Mecha Rarity fired a shot from her horn, Rarity casting a shield spell to protect her from the attack.
The shield dissipated as Mecha Rarity flew forward and attempted to punch Rarity in the face. Rarity quickly teleported away as she attacked.
Rarity appeared behind her metal counterpart and fired a blast from her horn. The blast hit Mecha Rarity, who skidded to a stop. Suddenly, two giant blue diamonds flew out from her sides and flew towards Rarity. Rarity fired a blast from her horn in hopes of destroying the sinister diamonds.
"Uh, oh." Rarity said as the diamonds approached her.
She quickly teleported away, but not a great distance away. The diamonds turned around and flew towards her again. Rarity was about to teleport again, but not before she got an idea. She then teleported away and appeared in front of Mecha Rarity.
Mecha Rarity swung her hoof in hopes of hitting the mare, but she ducked under it and smirked.
"This will be a blowout, darling."
She then teleported away as the diamonds approached her. The diamonds then hit Mecha Rarity instead, exploding on impact. Mecha Rarity tumbled to the ground, her body singed from the explosion. She tried to get back up, but Rarity appeared in front of her, her horn flaring as she prepared to end this.
"Take this, you ruffian!!!"
She then fired the blast from her horn and it hit the metallic mare, destroying her.
Applejack jumped to the side, avoiding the Superman punch from Metal Jack. Applejack then swung her rope around in the air before throwing it towards Metal Jack and wrapping it around her hoof. Metal Jack pulled her hoof closer to herself and Applejack was pulled towards her metal counterpart.
Metal Jack was about to attack, but was punched in the face by Applejack. Metal Jack stumbled a bit before glaring at her opponent.
Applejack smirked, "Havin' fun, partner?"
Metal Jack then raised her hoof and fired a grappling hook from underneath her hoof. It grabbed onto Applejack and pulled her in. Applejack was then punched in the face by her metallic copy. As she was flying through the air, she was pulled back by Metal Jack and punched again, and again, and again.
The grappling hook released the cowpony and she tumbled to a stop on the floor.
Metal Jack then decided to finish this and flew towards her. Applejack smiled and got up and turned around. As Metal Jack reached Applejack, Applejack bucked her metal copy right in the face, the force of the buck taking her head right off her body.
The head bounced on the floor as the body landed on its back. Applejack tilted her hat slightly forward and smirked.
Fluttershy flew away from Mecha Shy as she pursued the shy pegasus. Mecha Shy fired a laser from her eyes, Fluttershy swayed to the left to avoid the laser blast. She continued to evade the laser blasts that came her way.
"STAY AWAY!!!" Fluttershy screamed.
Mecha Shy flew ahead of her and turned around and charged her right in the chest. Fluttershy fell to the ground, whimpering in pain. Mecha Shy landed a few feet in front of her and glared at the yellow maned pegasus. Fluttershy tried to get up, but she couldn't muster the strength.
Mecha Shy walked closer to the pegasus, her eyes beginning to glow red as she charged up another laser blast. Fluttershy then mustered all the strength she could and got up just as Mecha Shy fired a laser blast from her eyes.
Fluttershy quickly flew up in the air and dodged the blast. Mecha Shy then flew up towards her, causing Fluttershy to scream and fly away. Mecha Shy gave chase, firing more laser blasts at the mare.
Fluttershy then swayed left and right once again, dodging the lasers. Fluttershy then thought to herself, she thought what would happen if Eggman won. She thought of all the poor animals that he would use for batteries. She gritted her teeth and turned around, she then charged right into Mecha Shy, sending the robot in the crossfire between a cannon and the Tornado.
The cannon fired and hit Mecha Shy, blowing her to bits. Fluttershy sighed and landed on the floor below.
Rainbow and Metal collided in mid air. Rainbow threw a punch but Metal ducked underneath it and and upercutted Rainbow, sending her back. Rainbow then gritted her teeth and charged forward, Metal did the same.
They both drew back punches and once they met in the middle, their hooves collided. Rainbow then flew back a few meters to get some distance between the two. Metal then threw some daggers from her wing towards the rainbow maned mare.
"Heh, nice try."
Rainbow flew forward and swayed left and right to avoid the deadly projectiles. Metal Dash then flew forward and tried to tackle Rainbow, but she dodged the tackle by moving to the left as the robot passed by.
Metal turned around and threw some more wing daggers at Rainbow. Rainbow then flew upward to dodge the attack. she then charged downward and tackled Metal to the ship below. Rainbow was laying into her with multiple punches. Metal then kicked Rainbow Dash off of her and flew upward into the air.
Rainbow then flew after her and tried to punch the robot, but Metal simply dodged the attack and punched Rainbow in the gut. She bent over in pain, giving Metal the chance to fly around her and kick her in the back, sending her to the ship below. Rainbow got up and then for some reason, flew away from the robotic mare.
Metal tilted her head in confusion, but then glared as she saw Rainbow flying back towards her. Metal then charged forward, Rainbow smirked as she performed a Sonic Rainboom and flew at high speeds towards Metal. When Metal and Rainbow met, Rainbow tore straight through her torso and finished her off. Metal exploded in a blaze of glory and Rainbow crossed her fore legs and smirked.
Twilight and Mecha Twilight both shot beams from their horns. The two beams collided in a blinding flash of light that sent both mare, organic and robotic, back a few meters. Mecha then raised her hooves and four claws emerged, she clenched her new claws and flew forward.
She slashed at Twilight, but the alicorn ducked under the attack and fired a beam from her horn and hit the robot directly in the chest. Mecha stumbled, but she recovered and opened the palms of her new claws and fired two rockets, one from each claw.
Twilight then smirked and flew forward directly towards the rockets. Just as she was about to hit the rockets, she teleported away, confusing Mecha. Twilight appeared behind Mecha and tapped her shoulder. Mecha turned around and was punched in the face by Twilight.
The rockets turned around and locked onto Twilight again, just like she planned. Mecha slashed at Twilight again, but she tilted her body to the right to dodge the attack. Twilight went for another punch but it was caught in Mecha's claws. Mecha then seized Twilight by the throat and began to squeeze.
Mecha then readied her other claw and prepared to strike. She was then confused as Twilight smirked. Mecha turned around and saw the rockets coming straight towards her. Twilight then flared her horn and blinded Mecha with a bright light, causing her to release Twilight from her grasp.
While Mecha was blinded, Twilight then fired a beam of magic from her horn and hit Mecha in the chest, sending her towards the incoming rockets. When the two collided, a massive explosion filled the area Mecha just occupied. Once the smoke cleared, Mecha was seen, but she was badly damaged. Twilight then flew forward and stabbed Mecha right in the chest with her horn. She then charged up her horn and released a wave of magic, destroying Mecha for good.

The girls all sighed in exhaustion and regrouped. They all smiled at each other and joined together in a group hug. They then heard an explosion and saw the rest of the Egg Fleet falling from the sky. They all saw Sonic air dash towards the final ship, the one they were standing on. He performed a variety of flips and landed next to the girls. He got to his feet and smiled at the girls, who smiled back.
They all then saw Tails approaching the final ship, Sonic knew that he couldn't land, and so did the girls. So they recreated what they did when they first met, they jumped off the edge of the ship and grabbed hold of the Tornado. Twilight and Rainbow flew next to the Tornado and helped everyone into their seats. Tails fired a bunch of missiles and destroyed the final ship in the Egg Fleet.
The Tornado then flew upwards, towards the Death Egg Mark II.
Sonic smirked and turned to the girls, "Alright, girls." He then turned and faced the massive battlestation, "Let's go get those Emeralds back."
The Death Egg Mark II fired multiple lasers from its underside directly at the Tornado. Tails did a barrel roll to the left while Rainbow and Twilight swayed to the left and right to avoid the incoming projectiles. Twilight then teleported away to avoid an incoming laser, she reappeared and continued to fly forward.
Tails continued to outmanoeuvre the lasers sent out from the Death Egg Mark II, Sonic crouched down on the wing and gritted his teeth. Tails then boosted forward closer towards the Death Egg Mark II. Rainbow Dash and Twilight nodded to each other and flew forward at high speeds towards the battlestation.
Sonic then stood up and crossed his arms and turned to his best friend, "Tails, you know what to do."
Tails smirked and set the plane to auto pilot. He pulled out his Miles Electric and began hacking into the EggNet to disable the shields leading to the hangar bay.
Tails noticed that Eggman upgraded his security, so this was gonna be harder than before. As Tails was hacking the EggNet, Sonic and the ponies noticed that they were heading right towards the shields. Sonic turned his head slightly with a worried expression on his face.
"Uh, Tails? Now would be a good time to take down those shields." Sonic said, anxious that they weren't gonna make it in time and crash directly into the shields.
"Hang on." Tails said, sweat starting to fall down his forehead.
"Sugarcube, you might wanna hurry it up." Applejack said worryingly.
"GIMME A SECOND!" Tails shouted as sweat was drizzling down his forehead.
"TAILS!!!" They all said in unison.
Tails then cracked the last of the EggNet's security and the shields collapsed. Tails quickly set the Miles Electric down and took control of the Tornado and boosted forward towards the hangar bay, with Rainbow and Twilight following behind them. They entered the hangar bay and both Rainbow and Twilight skidded to a stop on the metallic floor as they landed.
Tails landed the Tornado down safely and they all exited the plane.
(Pause song)
Sonic jumped off the wing of the plane and put Tails in a headlock and gave him a noogie, "I knew you could do it, pal. Never doubted you once."
Tails laughed and broke out of the brotherly gesture. Twilight and Rainbow walked over to the group and smiled.
"Nice job, Tails." Twilight said kindly.
"Yeah, you were awesome!" Rainbow shouted happily.
Tails rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment and chuckled nervously. Spike then spoke up, "So, what do we do now?"
Twilight faced her assistant and gave him a determined look, "Now, we get those Emeralds, and stop Robotnik."
Suddenly, the ceilings opened up and a horde of Badniks and Egg Pawns dropped down from the holes in the ceiling. They surrounded the heroes from every angle.
(Restart song)
They all got into a battle stance and glared at the horde of robots.
Twilight then stepped forward, "FOR EQUESTRIA!!!"
"FOR EQUESTRIA!!!" The rest of the heroes shouted in unison.
They then all charged forward and started attacking the robots. Twilight encased a group of Badniks and Egg Pawns in a shield bubble and crushed them with it, freeing the innocent animals trapped inside. Twilight then took to the air and blasted a horde of enemies with a blast from her horn, destroying them.
Rainbow and Applejack were working together, destroying every robot they saw. Applejack bucked one robot into the air, giving Rainbow the opportunity to swoop down and destroy it. Rainbow then charged at another robot and pushed it towards Applejack, letting her buck the robot to smithereens.
Pinkie protected Fluttershy by pulling her Party Cannon from out of nowhere and firing a massive cake at the horde of robots that approached the two mares. The cake got into their circuits and they malfunctioned and collapsed to the floor.
Rarity fired magical blasts from her horn at the robotic horde while Spike flew around and encasing the robots in green flames. Rarity then created a barrier and pushed it to a group of Badniks and Egg Pawns and crushed them against a wall. Spike then landed in front of Rarity and breathed green fire at the last of the robots that approached them, destroying them.
Tails fired shots at the robots from his arm cannon while Sonic ran around and dashed through the multiple robots. Sonic then ran to Tails, who took flight and disabled his arm cannon. He took Sonic's hands and they began to spin around, forming a double Spin Dash. They then landed and mowed through the horde of robots that approached them. They untucked and high fived each other.
Sonic then noticed a door slide open, revealing a hallway.
"Alright, EggHead. You obviously want me to go in there, and knowing you, you have a trap set up just for me. Well, game on, Eggman." Sonic said as he dashed down the hallway.
Twilight noticed this and her eyes widened, "SONIC, WAIT!!!"
She then flew after him and went down the hallway. The others tried to follow but a swarm of robots fell from the ceiling and blocked their path. They got into a battle stance and took on the robots. For now, Sonic and Twilight were on their own.

Sonic reached the end of the hallway and arrived in a room with a giant glass cylinder in the centre. Inside were the Chaos Emeralds, encased in red electricity.
"What the?" Sonic asked.
Twilight then reached the room and landed next to Sonic.
She scolded him, "What were you thinking? Going after Robotnik alone? Are you crazy?"
"He's not crazy, but he is really annoying!!!"
They looked up and saw Eggman float down in his Egg Mobile with an evil smile plastered on his face.
"Welcome to Phase 2!!!" Eggman shouted.
Sonic furrowed his brow and glared at his nemesis, "What are you doing with the Emeralds, EggHead?"
"Oh, you know, nothing much. Except overcharging them to power up the very thing that will destroy you all!!!" Eggman shouted as he clenched his fist.
"And what exactly are you charging, Robotnik?" Twilight asked angrily.
"I'm glad you asked. Behold, THE WORLD ROBOTICIZER!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Eggman laughed as Sonic and Twilight's eyes widened in shock and fear.
"W...WORLD ROBOTICIZER?! YOU'RE GOING TO TURN THE ENTIRE PLANET INTO YOUR OWN ROBOTIC NIGHTMARE?!" Twilight asked in hysteria.
Sonic growled in anger, "That's low, even for you."
"Heh heh. This all turned out perfectly. With you all distracted by my factories, I had enough time to prepare my greatest creation to date!"
"Wait, so those factories.... were only made to distract us?!!!" Twilight asked in fury.
"Precisely. Why else would I only conquer 5% of the planet when I have the means to conquer it all?! As we speak, my satellites have already spread across the outer reaches of the planet. As soon as my World Roboticizer is fully charged, the satellites will link with the generator you see here. Once that happens, BOOM!!! The end. Your pathetic lives will be over and the entirety of this dimension will be under my rule. Think of it, The Crystal Empire, The Dragon Kingdom, EVERYWHERE!!!" Eggman shouted in victory.
The two heroes stood there, one of them glaring at the mad doctor while the other was shaking in fear.
Eggman smiled and continued, "Although, The Crystal Empire might not survive the Robotization process. The crystals that kingdom is made of doesn't mix well with my Roboticizer. Ah well, at least I'll have a blank canvas to build over."
"NO!!! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!!! MY BROTHER AND SISTER IN LAW RULE THAT KINGDOM!!! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!!!" Twilight shouted in desperation.
"You know what they say, 'You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.' OH HO HO HO HO HO HO HO!!!"
"The only egg that's gonna be broken is you, Egg Face!!!" Sonic shouted in anger.
"Heh heh. Don't count on it, hedgehog. Now, I'd love to stay and see you fail, but I have other business to attend to. So long suckers!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Eggman laughed as he flew out of the room.
The two heroes looked back at the generator and saw even more red electricity surround the Emeralds. Suddenly, the others caught up and entered the generator room and saw the Emeralds.
"All right!!! You found the Emeralds!!! This is great!!!" Rainbow shouted happily.
"NO, IT'S NOT GREAT!!!" Twilight shouted.
"Why?" Pinkie asked.
Sonic sighed, "Eggman's using the Emeralds to charge up this generator to Roboticize the entire planet."
Everyone gasped at this revelation. Spike then spoke up, "He can't do that, can he?"
Tails pulled out his Miles Electric and scanned the generator. Once the scan was complete, he delivered the bad news. "He can, at this moment, the Emeralds are being overcharged. Once they have been completely overcharged, this generator will emit a pulse around the planet that will activate satellites scattered around the planet. If we don't stop the Emeralds in time..."
"We lose." Sonic finished.
"Is there anyway to stop it?!" Rarity asked hysterically.
Tails shook his head, "Not that I know of. The Emeralds are too unstable to touch, if we do, we would be disintegrated instantly. Eggman has thought this through. I don't know if we can stop it."
"THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING WE CAN DO!!!" Rainbow Dash shouted.
"WHAT CAN WE DO, RAINBOW?!" Applejack shouted in anger.
"SOMETHING!!! ANYTHING!!!" Rainbow replied.
As the two mares shouted at each other, Sonic closed his eyes in despair. He thought to himself, was there truly nothing he could do? He then opened his eyes as he thought of something, but it would be something he couldn't come back from.
"Tails, get everyone out of here. I'm gonna stop that generator." Sonic ordered.
"How?" Tails asked.
"I'm gonna create my own pulse to counteract that one." Sonic said as he pointed to the generator.
Tails eyes widened as tears threatened the bridge of his eyes, "NO!!!" He then rushed over and hugged Sonic while sobbing into his chest.
"Tails? What's wrong?" Fluttershy asked, worried about the answer.
Tails sniffed and turned to the ponies and Spike, "Sonic is gonna build up *sniff* the energy he creates when he runs, *sniff* and use it to shut down the generator."
"Why is that bad?" Rainbow asked.
Tails was about to answer, but Sonic beat him to it, "Because if I do this, I'll die."
The ponies eyes widened as tears threatened their eyes as well. They all then rushed over and tackled them both into a group hug.
"NO!!! SONIC, DON'T DO THIS!!!" Pinkie cried.
"THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY!!! THERE HAS TO BE!!!" Twilight cried as well.
Sonic sighed and embraced them, "Hey, it'll be okay. My race has to end sometime."
"BUT YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DIE FOR US!!!" Rarity cried.
"He won't." Rainbow said.
Everyone looked at her in confusion, "I'll be doing this with him." Rainbow said.
"But Rainbow, you're not as fast as Sonic. To do this, you'd have to be flying faster than you were when you performed the Sonic Rainboom." Twilight said.
"I have to try. I won't let my friend die!" Rainbow said.
"Dash, I'm not asking you to do this." Sonic said.
"And I'm not asking permission! I never leave my friends hanging." Rainbow replied.
"You know what? This could work, with their combined speed, they could create enough energy to counter the pulse with their own without any casualties." Tails said.
"Exactly. Now get outta here. We have a world to save." Rainbow said.
The group embraced them once more. They let go and Twilight walked to them, "Thank you, and be careful."
The two nodded in response. The group looked back one last time before leaving the room.
Sonic and Rainbow stood in front of the generator before looking at one another, "You ready for this, Dash?" Sonic asked.
Rainbow sighed and looked at her friend, "Let's save the planet."
Sonic chuckled at that, "Alright then. Gotta go fast!"
Sonic and Rainbow then began running/flying around the generator at high speeds. Although Rainbow was struggling to keep up, she thought about what would happen if they lost, all the lives that would suffer under Eggman's rule. She couldn't fail, she wouldn't fail. So she pushed herself and surprisingly caught up with Sonic.
As the two circled the generator, blue and cyan electricity began to surround the generator. The blue and cyan electricity colliding with the red electricity. Sonic and Rainbow continued to push forward, going faster and faster to save Equestria.
"KEEP MOVING!!!" Sonic shouted.
"WASN'T PLANNING ON STOPPING!!!" Rainbow shouted back.
Suddenly, the entire generator was surrounded by blue and cyan electricity. They were doing it, they were going to save everyone.
The two speedsters then screamed as they made one final push to stop the generator. Blue and cyan electricity shot around the room until eventually, the red electricity was overcome by the blue and cyan electricity.
Then, a large amount of electricity was absorbed by the generator directly from the two speedsters. Out of nowhere, there was a massive shockwave that sent the two speedsters across the room. The blue shockwave exited the Death Egg Mark II and made its way to the satellites. Once the satellites absorbed the blue pulse, they malfunctioned and exploded, ending Eggman's scheme.
Back in the Death Egg, Sonic and Rainbow Dash groaned as they struggled to get up. They did it, they stopped the World Roboticizer.
"Ugh, my everything hurts." Rainbow groaned.
"I feel like I've been rammed by a giant truck trying to escape a city." Sonic groaned in pain.
They both struggled to get up, due to the immense pain they were in. Once they got up, they finally realised that they had did it. They stopped the World Roboticizer.
Sonic smiled and jumped in the air, "WOO HOO!!! WE DID IT!!! Eggman's plan is officially butt kicked, we won!!!"
They went for a fist/hoof bump, but out of nowhere, a giant red metallic hand crashed through the wall and grabbed Sonic.
Sonic groaned in annoyance, "AW COME ON!!!"
Sonic was then pulled out of the Death Egg.
"SONIC!!!" Rainbow shouted before she to, was grabbed by a giant metallic hand.
"SERIOUSLY?!!!" She groaned before being pulled out of the battlestation.
The hands pulled the two speedsters down towards Canterlot and threw them both to the ground. They rolled and tumbled to a stop, they looked up and saw the hands reconnect to the robot that had shoved them to the ground.
The Egg Robo Supreme.
The glass in the mechs head slid up and revealed none other than Dr. Eggman.
"Don't think you're getting away that easily, hedgehog!!! You may have destroyed my World Roboticizer, but I'll still crush you and your annoying little friends in the palm of my giant, metallic, hands." Eggman said coldly.
Sonic and Rainbow Dash stood up and dusted themselves off.
Sonic then pointed at Eggman, "You don't know when to quit, do you, EggHead? You wanna dance?"
Rainbow then flapped her wings and hovered above the ground, "Then let's dance!!!"
Sonic and Rainbow looked at each other and smirked.
"Let's get 'em." Sonic said before the two dashed off to face Eggman.
Sonic and Dash blasted down the road, following the Egg Robo Supreme. The mech's torso spun around as Eggman laughed maniacally.
"OH HO HO HO HO HO HO!!! PREPARE YOURSELVES!!!"
"Alright EggHead." Sonic begun.
"Let's finish this!" Rainbow finished.
"I'M GOING TO ENJOY ERASING YOU TWO FROM THE FACE OF EXISTENCE!!! GET A LOAD OF THIS!!!" Eggman shouted.
The mech then fired a giant green laser blast that engulfed the entire street from its left hand. Sonic quickly jumped in the air and air dashed to the rooftops nearby while Rainbow flew above the laser and went straight for Eggman.
Eggman saw this coming and quickly detached the mechs right hand and punched her to the ground. She tumbled and rolled down the street as Eggman laughed.
"Nice try, pegasus!"
The mech detached the left hand and both hands moved towards Sonic, who was still running on the rooftops, and hovered both hands on both sides of the hedgehog. Sonic knew what he was going to do and quickly boosted forward as the hands came together in an attempt to crush him.
Sonic then ran off the building and leaped in the air, he then curled into a ball and used a Homing Attack on the cockpit, sending the mech tumbling back a few meters. Eggman recovered and reattached both hands, said hands were then engulfed in green flames.
"You won't be doing that again, hedgehog!!!" Eggman growled.
"Wanna bet?" Sonic replied.
Rainbow Dash then caught up to Sonic and glared at the mad doctor, "You're gonna regret that, Egg Face!!!"
"We'll see about that!!!"
The mech then slammed both of its hands on the road, sending out waves of green fire down the road. Sonic jumped over the waves and Rainbow just flew above them. Eggman growled as he brought the mechs arms to its sides, he then swung the mechs arms back and them pushed them forward, sending a pillar of green fire heading the heroes way.
Rainbow had to move to the left to avoid the green flames and Sonic moved to the right. Eggman then repeated his previous attacks multiple times, sending pillars and waves of green fire towards the heroes. They both avoided the attacks with a little difficulty and continued down the road, following the Egg Robo Supreme.
"What happened to you erasing us from reality, EggHead?" Sonic mocked the mad doctor.
"You cocky needlemouse! YOU'LL EAT THOSE WORDS!!!" Eggman replied in anger.
"The only one doing the eating here is you, fatty lobotnik!" Rainbow mocked.
Eggman then growled in annoyance and detached the hands of the mech. He then pushed the left one forward and fired a green laser blast, causing Sonic to once again jump to the rooftops and Rainbow to fly above the green laser. Eggman then fired green balls of energy that were engulfed in green flames from the right hand at the hedgehog on the rooftops.
Sonic jumped and ducked under the attacks, angering Eggman. This gave Rainbow the chance to dash forward and hit the cockpit of the mech, sending it tumbling down the road. As it continued to tumble, Rainbow pushed forward and hit the mech in the chest, sending it further down the road.
Eggman recovered as he growled in anger at the two speedsters. Eggman then slammed his right fist down on the rooftops, destroying two buildings due to the sheer size of the mechs hands. Sonic jumped and used a Homing Attack to hit the hand of the mech, as he bounced off, he used another Homing Attack to hit the shoulder, he bounced off again and this time, aimed for the cockpit. He used another Homing Attack and damaged the cockpit further. Sending the mech down the road.
"WHY YOU LITTLE...." Eggman growled.
The mech then reached the end of the street, causing it to turn to continue the chase, Sonic and Rainbow turned to keep up with it. The palms of the mechs hands then glowed, suddenly a giant flaming green scythe appeared in the mechs hands.
"DODGE THIS!!!" Eggman shouted.
"Gladly!" The two speedsters shouted in unison.
Eggman swung the scythe at the two speedsters, causing them to duck or fly over the attack. The scythe demolished the buildings surrounding the street they battled on. Eggman then raised the scythe over the mechs head and brought it down onto the road, generating flaming green shockwaves that emerged from the point of impact.
Sonic leaped over the shockwaves and curled into a ball and hit the cockpit with a Homing Attack. Rainbow Dash boosted forward and hit the cockpit as well, sending the mech tumbling down the road. The mech recovered and the scythe disappeared.
"Not bad. BUT HOW ABOUT THIS?!" Eggman shouted.
Suddenly, seven balls engulfed in green flames appeared above the mech. The mech then thrusted its arms forward and the balls pushed forward and tried to hit the two speedsters. Once they hit the floor, a portion of the floor was engulfed in green flames, causing Sonic to think quick and dodge left and right to avoid getting hit.
The balls aimed towards Rainbow Dash exploded before they reached her. From their explosions, walls of green fire took up that portion of the sky. Rainbow had to move left and right and up and down to avoid getting hit by the walls of fire. She then boosted forward to try and hit the mech, only to be pushed back as a green shockwave emitted from the mech.
"Not this time." Eggman mocked.
The mech then spread its arms out to its sides. The mech opened its palms, suddenly, several green flaming spears appeared on both sides of the mech. The mech thrusts its arms forward and the projectiles fly towards Sonic and Rainbow. Sonic sways left and right, jumps over the green spears that approached him. He ducks under one but is then pushed back from a spear that he didn't notice. He tumbles down the street but quickly recovers and dashes forward to catch up.
Rainbow flies left and right to avoid the flaming spears, she dashes forward to try and hit Eggman. He sees this and takes action.
"OH NO, YOU DON'T!!!" Eggman shouts as he detaches the right hand of the mech and sends it flying towards Rainbow. She smirks and tilts her body to the left, narrowly avoiding the giant metal hand.
She then boosts forward and hits the cockpit, sending Eggman further down the road. The mech crashes into the building at the end of the street and falls to its knees. Sonic and Dash boost forward to finish this battle. Sonic leaps up into the air and curls into a ball while Rainbow simply flies forward. Sonic boosts forward in a Homing Attack and both of them aim straight for the cockpit. They're about to hit it, when suddenly, Eggman smiles.
"GOTCHA!!!"
The right hand of the mech returns and grabs the two speedsters before they could finish this battle and slams them onto the ground, creating a small crater where they impacted. The right hand lifts up and reconnects with the mech as Sonic and Rainbow both try to get up.
Eggman laughs at his enemies, "OH HO HO HO HO HO HO!!! LOOK AT YOU!!! FIGHTING LIKE YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN, IT'S ADORABLE!!!" Eggman shouts as he aims the mechs left hand at the crater, ready to finish them off. "Goodbye, Sonic. My soon to be eradicated nemesis. So long, Rainbow Dash. Though our time was short, I say this from the bottom of my heart. You will not be missed!!!"
Eggman prepares to fire, when all of a sudden, the mech was blasted by a beam of magic, not doing much damage, but still getting Eggman's attention. Eggman looked up and saw Twilight flying down towards the mech with the Tornado flying right behind her.
"DON'T TOUCH MY FRIENDS, ROBOTNIK!!!" Twilight shouted in the Royal Canterlot Voice.
Eggman growled as he aimed the palms of the mech at the incoming heroes, "Buzz off."
He then fired a green laser from the mechs hand directly at the heroes, who narrowly dodged the gigantic blast. Twilight boosted forward and fired a beam of magic at the cockpit, damaging it.
"WILL YOU GET LOST!!!" Eggman shouted in anger.
The Tornado then fired a barrage of missiles at the Egg Robo Supreme, damaging it even further. Eggman then flew the mech upwards and fired a laser from its green eye, trying to hit the Tornado. Tails dodged the attack and fired back multiple missiles, damaging the mech more.
The Tornado the quickly transformed into its battle mode form and punched the Egg Robo Supreme in the face, sending Eggman crashing down to the ground. The mech got up back to its feet, but was suddenly struck in the face by a Homing Attack. Sonic landed on the floor and blew a raspberry at the med doctor, infuriating him more.
"GRRR. WHY WON'T YOU JUST KEEL OVER AND DIE?!!!"
The mechs hands reattached and Eggman slammed the mechs fist down on the floor in an attempt to hit Sonic, but Sonic simply dashed away and ran towards Canterlot Castle. Eggman growled and gave chase. Eggman flew behind the hedgehog and fired a blast from the mechs eye to try and hit the speedy hedgehog, but Sonic simply moved to the left. Eggman then launched both hands directly at the hedgehog. The left one tried to grab him, but Sonic boosted out of its reach while the right one fired a laser at the hedgehog. Sonic then ducked underneath the laser and made his way to the castle.
Sonic then ran up the castle with Eggman following right behind him. Eggman fired multiple blasts from the mechs hands and eyes while Sonic ran up the castle, but Sonic timed his jumps just right and avoided the laser blasts. Sonic reached the top of the castle and stood there with his arms crossed as Eggman rose up and glared at the hedgehog. Lightning roared in the sky behind them as the Egg Robo Supreme's eye glew a green flame.
"Well, hedgehog. I finally have you. Any last words?" Eggman asked as he prepared to end this.
"Yeah. Look up." Sonic said as he pointed to the sky with his thumb.
Eggman looked up and saw Rainbow Dash zooming down towards him, a rainbow trail following behind her.
"TASTE THE RAINBOW YOU GIANT TALKING EGG!!!" Rainbow shouted before she hit the mech right in the chest, sending it crashing down below.
Before the mech hit the ground, Sonic jumped off the roof and curled into a ball and zoomed downward and hit the cockpit one last time with a Homing Attack, sending Eggman and the mech crashing down to the ground faster. The Egg Robo Supreme crashed down right in front of the doors to the castle, making a crater where it landed. The mechs green eye flickered before it ceased glowing for good, ending this battle.

The glass covering the cockpit slid open and Eggman crawled out and fell to the ground on his back. He then saw the heroes approaching and smiled evilly. He then quickly ran into the castle, the Tornado landed and everyone hopped out of the plane.
Twilight landed and looked to her friends, "Robotnik's getting away!!!"
"After him!!!" Applejack shouted.
The group of heroes entered the castle in pursuit of Eggman. They made their way up and entered the throne room, where Eggman sat atop a mechanical throne.
Eggman smiled as Twilight stood forward, "It's over, Robotnik. Stand down now, and I may be lenient with your punishment." Twilight ordered.
"Oh, it's far from over, Princess Twilight." Eggman said as he smiled.
Sonic then boosted over and grabbed Eggman by his jacket, "Give up now, or I'll knock you into next week." Sonic threatened.
"I'm busy next week, I'm getting my moustache groomed." Eggman then reached for a hidden button on the arm of the throne, "But if you're free now, you can witness my VICTORY!!!"
Eggman pressed the button on the arm of the chair. Suddenly, a red shield encased the area the ponies and Spike were standing. Then metallic pillars rose from the ground. Before Sonic could act, the pillars then began draining the ponies of their magic.
They all screamed in pain as their magic was being drained. Sonic let go of Eggman and ran to the shield, "GIRLS!!!"
Sonic heard Eggman laughing and turned around. He saw Eggman sitting in his throne with a smile on his face, "Bye bye, hedgehog." Eggman said before the throne lowered into the floor. Sonic dashed over to stop him but it was too late, he was gone.
The process ended and the shield was lowered as the Mane 6 fell to the ground, each of their eyes lifeless and devoid of colour. The pillars lowered into the floor as Sonic, Spike, and Tails rushed over to check on their friends. Sonic rushed over to Rainbow and held her head, fear evident in his eyes.
Suddenly, the ground started to shake, startling everyone in the room. Before anyone could act, the ceiling of the throne room was torn off by a giant metallic tentacle. Sonic and the others looked up and saw what tore the roof off.
"GOTCHA!!! The World Roboticizer was just a decoy!!! A true winner always keeps his trump card hidden, until the end." Eggman said as Sonic stepped forward.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Sonic shouted in anger.
"BWAHAHAHAHA!!! I merely incorporated the Element's magic into the Emperor Egg Robot." Eggman revealed.
Tails eyes then widened in realisation, "This was your plan all along. You never wanted to Roboticize the entire planet. YOU WANTED THE MAGIC FROM THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY!!!" Tails shouted as he pointed to the giant mech.
"A good deduction, Tails. When I first arrived in this dimension, I learned of the Elements of Harmony and planned to use their power for my conquest. But when I learned that they were destroyed, I was thinking that this was all for nothing. That is, until I learned that the Bearers of the Elements are essentially the Elements themselves!!! I then planned to drain their 'magic' and use it to conquer both this world and Mobius!!! You made things easier by befriending the Element Bearers and bringing them right to me!!!" Eggman revealed.
Sonic then growled in anger while Spike hid behind his leg.
"You will be crushed by this Emperor Egg Robot powered by the Elements magic, and in the end, everything will still be just as I planned!!! Hehehehe. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Eggman said as the mech released a powerful shockwave.
Sonic skidded back a little bit, but then shook himself off and walked forward, "If you think that I'll let you do whatever you want with that kind of power, then you're in for a very painful lesson!"
Sonic then clenched his fists as he dashed forward to face the Emperor Egg Robot.
Sonic dashed forward to the edge of the now roofless throne room to face the Emperor Egg Robot. The Emperor Egg Robot raised both of its hands and fired missiles from each of its fingertips. They locked onto Sonic, causing him to run around the throne room to try and get them off of him. Sonic then turned around and saw the ten missiles coming for him. He ran towards them and leaped over them, bouncing off of the last one in the line up of missiles. Before they could turn around, the missiles impacted what remained of the wall and blew up.
The mech then raised its left hand and smashed it down on the throne room floor, creating multiple red waves originating from the point of impact. Sonic timed his jumps right and jumped over the waves of red energy. Once he was close enough, he hit the hand with three Homing Attacks and then landed back on the ground as the mech raised its hand.
"You actually think you have a chance at beating me?! HAH!!! That's hilarious!!!" Eggman mocked.
The eyes of the Emperor Egg Robot glowed a menacing red before firing a laser that tore through the floor of the throne room. Sonic leaped out of the lasers way and ran forward and leaped into the air to try and damage the powerful mech. Eggman laughed as he backhanded Sonic to the other side of the throne room.
Sonic rolled to a stop and got back up on his feet. Eggman then raised the mechs top left tentacle and slammed it down on the throne room floor, sending out more red waves of energy. Sonic jumped over the waves of energy and air dashed to the Emperor Egg Robots tentacle and began running up the appendage.
"GET OFF OF ME!!!" Eggman snarled.
Sonic simply glared as he continued to run up the tentacle. The tentacle raised from the floor in an attempt to knock Sonic off of it. Sonic simply jumped off and aimed a Homing Attack at the head of the mech.
"Nice try." Eggman said as the mech released a wave of red energy from within itself, sending Sonic flying through the air.
Sonic managed to land on his feet and glared at Eggman. The Emperor Egg Robot turned its body slightly to the left and raised its left and and opened its palm. It then fired multiple red orbs at the speedy hedgehog. Sonic moved left and right to avoid the massive orbs of energy.
Sonic then leaped in the air and tried once again to attack the robot, but was only smacked away by the lower right tentacle. Sonic tumbled on the floor and tried to get up. He was badly bruised from the beating he was getting, but he managed to get up.
Eggman laughed as he fired another eye laser at the speedy hero. Sonic then used all the strength he could muster and ran out of the throne room and jumped out of the broken castle. The Emperor Egg Robot saw this and fired more missiles from its fingertips in an attempt to end the hedgehog.
Sonic turned and saw the missiles coming his way. He performed a series of flips in the air to avoid the missiles and landed on a nearby rooftop.
"You're not getting away from me, hedgehog!" Eggman growled.
The Emperor Egg Robot then pushed itself away from the castle and hovered towards the edge of the royal city. Sonic landed on the ground in a superhero landing pose and stood to his feet. The mech then raised its hands again and fired even more missiles.
Sonic's brow furrowed as he zoomed down the street and ran towards the edge of the city. The Emperor Egg Robot continued to fire more and more missiles from its fingertips, Sonic swayed left and right, jumped and slid, and he leaped into the air and bounced off of one of the missiles to avoid getting hit.
The mech then raised its right hand and opened its palm, it then fired a massive red and black laser from the palm of its hand that engulfed the entire street. Sonic had to think fast and saw a turn that led into another street. He quickly made the turn as the laser engulfed the road.
The Emperor Egg Robot turned its head slightly and saw Sonic running down another street. The mech then fired another laser from its eyes to try and hit the blue blur. Sonic saw the laser coming and predicted where it was gonna impact, he slowed his speed down as the laser tore through a building in its way and tore through the road.
The building was nothing but a smoking pile of rubble, Sonic then turned and parkoured up the destroyed building and air dashed through the air. The Emperor Egg Robot fired even more missiles to try and hit Sonic, but the blue hedgehog landed on each missile as it passed by and landed on the road.
Eggman then raised all of the mechs arms into the air and summoned 12 red energy orbs which hovered above the mechs head. Eggman then brought the mechs arms down and the orbs flew towards the hedgehog. Sonic continued to run down the street as the orbs hit the street. Once they had hit the road, they engulfed their area of impact in red fire, making it difficult for Sonic to run towards the massive mech.
Sonic moved left and right to avoid the flames that engulfed the road and made it to the edge of the city. Sonic skid to a stop and glared at the massive mech. Eggman felt that Sonic was too close for comfort and sent him back with a massive wave of red energy that originated from the mech itself.
Sonic skidded as he was sent back and then crouched down in a running starting position. The Emperor Egg Robot then pushed its lower right tentacle forward towards Sonic and readied its very large pincers. Sonic ran forward and ducked under the very large appendage and continued to run forward.
Eggman then slammed the tentacle down onto the ground and slid it across the ground to try and hit Sonic. Sonic stopped dead in his tracks and jumped over the tentacle as it slid across the road. The tentacle raised from the ground and snapped its pincers.
Eggman then raised all of the mechs tentacles slightly and opened their pincers. In between each pincer, a red glow was seen. Sonic knew what this meant and readied himself. Each tentacle fired a red laser at the blue hedgehog. Sonic ran around the multiple explosions caused by the lasers sent out from the Emperor Egg Robot.
"Run all you want. I'll still smash you into a blue jelly!" Eggman said.
The lasers ceased and Sonic skid to a stop once more. The mech then raised both of its arms into the air and then slammed them onto the ground, creating multiple red energy waves that originated from the points of impact. Sonic jumped over the attacks and tried to get a hit on the mech, but Eggman hit the hedgehog away with one of the many tentacles the mech possessed.
Sonic was launched across the sky and tumbled across the floor and eventually rolled to a stop. Sonic tried to get up, but he just couldn't find the strength to do so. Eggman saw this and grabbed Sonic with one of the mechs tentacles. Eggman had Sonic right in one of the many pincers the mech had and pulled him close to the mechs head.
Eggman smiled as he released Sonic. As the hedgehog was falling, Eggman punched Sonic with the mechs left and and sent him flying through the sky. Sonic landed in a nearby house, causing it to fall on top of him.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Aw, what's wrong, hedgehog? You look a little 'crushed'!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Eggman laughed.
Suddenly, the rubble lifted up and Sonic walked out, limping and grasping his right arm with his left hand. He stopped in the middle of the street and glared hatefully at the mad doctor.
"What's this? No witty comeback? No threat? My you are seriously angry this time. No matter. DIE!!!" Eggman shouted as he fired a laser from the mechs eyes, impacting the road slightly in front of the hedgehog and sent him flying down the road.
Sonic tried to get up, but eventually fell back down on his stomach, defeated.

The mech loomed over the city of Canterlot, its shadow seen in every direction. Eggman laughed as he aimed the mechs right hand towards the hedgehog, ready to end their endless battle for good.
Eggman smiled evilly, he had finally done it. Sonic was beaten and he was about to have two worlds under his rule. He couldn't help, but gloat.
"And so it ends. Can't say I saw it ending any differently than how it is now. But now, our endless game is over. And like all games, there are winners and there are losers. And you know what happens to the losers of our game. Losers, get Roboticized, but not in your case. Goodbye, Sonic the hedgehog." Eggman said as he prepared to end his arch nemesis.
Back in the Death Egg Mark II, The Chaos Emeralds began to glow and spin around slowly in a circular motion inside the generator. The mechs hand began to glow red as Eggman readied a laser to end his enemy for good. The Emeralds spun around faster and glowed even brighter. The Emeralds then teleported out of the battlestation as Eggman fired the giant laser at the defenseless hedgehog. A bright red light engulfed half of Canterlot, decimating anything in its path.
Eggman laughed in victory, he had done it, he had finally killed Sonic. His laughter was cut short when he noticed a yellow glow in the smoke. As the smoke cleared, he saw a golden hedgehog hovering slightly above the ground with a cocky smirk on his face. Sonic had turned Super Sonic.
Eggman was baffled, his jaw practically on the floor.
"I...IMPOSSIBLE!!! HOW?!!! HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO ACCESS YOUR SUPER FORM?!!! YOU. SHOULD. BE. DEAD!!!" Eggman shouted in absolute anger.
Sonic crossed his arms and smirked as he teleported away, angering Eggman more.
"GET. BACK. HERE!!!"
Back in the castle, Spike and Tails were tending to the Mane 6, who looked lifeless and practically dead. Spike let a tear fall from his eye as he hugged Twilight, hoping that she was okay. Suddenly, Super Sonic teleported into the room with a kind smile on his face.
Tails' eyes widened with joy while Spike looked confused.
"Sonic? Is that you?" Spike asked.
Sonic nodded and floated over to the Mane 6. He then raised his arms into the air and summoned the seven Chaos Emeralds. The Emeralds then started spinning around the 6 mares, said mares being lifted into the air. Spike was about to ask what was happening but the room was suddenly engulfed in a bright light.
Once the light disappeared, Everyone saw the Mane 6 float down to the ground. But they were different, they looked different, they felt different.
They were in their very own Super Forms. They all looked around confused and turned to Sonic.
"Sonic? What happened? And why are you all yellow?" Rainbow asked confused.
Sonic smirked and chuckled, "I'm in my Super Form. The Chaos Emeralds saved me."
"That is so cool!!! You're all yellowy and your eyes are all red and *GASP*" Pinkie gasped as she finally took notice of her and her friends.
The mares eyes widened as they looked at one another.
Sonic then broke the silence, "I used the Emeralds to give you all a power boost to help against Eggman. You're all in your very own Super Forms. How do you all feel?"
"I feel more powerful." Twilight revealed.
"I feel faster." Rainbow said.
"I feel fabulous, darling" Rarity said.
"Ah feel like ah could buck anything." Applejack said.
"I feel lighter." Fluttershy said.
"I feel like Pinkie." Pinkie said.
He smiled and then turned around and saw the Emperor Egg Robot floating in the sky, sending out waves of red energy. Sonic turned back to the group of Super Mares, "So, who's ready to save all of reality?"
They all nodded in response.
"We're with you until the end, Sonic." Twilight said.
"Alright then," Sonic then floated above the floor and turned to where the Emperor Egg Robot was and smirked, "Time to scramble some Eggman!!!"
"SUPER STYLE!!!" They all shouted as they each flew up into the air and flew towards Eggman to stop him and save all of reality.
Super Sonic and the Super 6 flew across the sky towards the Emperor Egg Robot. They all saw the mech release another red energy wave, only this time, it caused the sky to break apart and a blue crack formed in the sky and spread all across Equestria.
They all stopped and eyed the massive crack in the sky, suddenly, Tails spoke through Sonic's earpiece, "Sonic, are you there?"
"Read you loud and clear, pal." Sonic responded.
"Sonic, you need to stop Eggman before reality itself collapses." Tails informed him.
Rainbow overheard this and asked, "What do you mean, 'collapses'?"
"Eggman is using the Elements magic in ways they weren't meant to be used. Eggman is pushing them to their limit, if he continues pushing them at the rate he is now, both of our universes and maybe more could be erased from reality." Tails revealed.
"Well then, we better move fast!" Sonic said.
"Good luck, you guys. Go save reality!" Tails encouraged them.
Sonic then turned to the girls and smirked, "Let's do this!"
They all flew forward and hovered in front of the Emperor Egg Robot, Eggman growled in anger and glared at the group of heroes.
"YOU ALL JUST DON'T KNOW WHEN TO QUIT!!!" Eggman yelled in frustration.
"Funny, we could say the same thing about you, EggFace!!!" Rainbow taunted the mad doctor.
"SHUT UP AND BURN!!!"
Eggman then raised the mechs left arm and fired a giant red and black laser at the group of heroes, causing them to fly off in multiple directions to avoid being blasted. Rainbow flew forward at speeds she has never gone before and tried to hit the mech, only to be swatted away by one of its tentacles.
Eggman then released another energy wave and sent them all back. The Emperor Egg Robot then flew backwards away from the heroes. They all shook their heads and dashed forward to try and catch up with the mad doctor. Twilight fired a white beam from her horn and tried to hit the Emperor Egg Robot, only for it not to do any damage whatsoever, the beam was deflected by an invisible red shield that only made itself known when it was hit.
"You're gonna have to do better than that!!!" Eggman taunted as the mech flew backwards to get some distance between them.
Pinkie Pie then flew forward at high speeds to try and fight the mech head on.
"Hiya, Eggy!" Pinkie exclaimed happily.
"What do you want, you annoying mare?!" Eggman asked in an annoyed tone.
"Oh nothing, I just wanted to give you a surprise!!!"
Eggman arched an eyebrow at that, but suddenly, Pinkie summoned millions of golden cupcakes from out of nowhere. She then launched them at the Emperor Egg Robot and they exploded on impact, sending the mech back a few meters, not only that, but it damaged the shield as well.
"YOU ANNOYING BRAT!!! BURN TO CINDERS!!!!" Eggman yelled in anger.
Eggman then fired two laser beams from both of the mechs hands to try and destroy Pinkie. Her eyes widened in excitement as the two beams approached. She dashed forward and suddenly blinked out of existence as the beams passed by.
Eggman looked around, trying to find the party pony, only to receive a massive cannonball made out of cotton candy that exploded on impact, sending the mech back even further, damaging the shield. Pinkie flew forward and followed the mad doctor with a smile on her face.
Eggman had had enough and released another wave of energy that sent the party pony flying back and breaking reality even more.
"WHEEE!!!" Pinkie screamed as she flew back.
Rarity then flew forward to confront the mad genius.
"I must say, darling. That robot looks hideous, you really should have better tastes." Rarity said.
"FOOLISH FASHIONISTA!!! THIS MECH IS THE MOST POWERFUL THING IN BOTH OUR UNIVERSES!!! I'LL USE IT TO CRUSH YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!!" Eggman yelled in anger.
"Well it obviously isn't the most handsome looking thing in our universes, that's for sure." Rarity said as Eggman screamed in anger.
Eggman then detached two of the mech tentacles and spread the mech two arms out and created two portals. The tentacles flew into the portals and said portals closed. Suddenly, one of the portals appeared underneath Rarity and one of the tentacles shot out from the portal.
Rarity shrieked as she quickly stopped dead in her tracks as the tentacle passed her. She sighed and continued forward, Eggman snarling in anger. Another portal opened in front of her and a tentacle shot out from it, its pincers snapping as it approached.
Rarity quickly flew to the left and dodged the giant appendage, a portal forming behind her as the tentacle flew through. The mechs tentacles reconnected and Rarity flew forward. The Emperor Egg Robot then fired a laser from its eyes to try and incinerate the mare.
Rarity countered the laser with a beam from her horn, the beams collided and struggled to overcome one another. Rarity's beam started to overcome Eggman's beam, much to the displeasure of the doctor.
"IMPOSSIBLE!!!" Eggman shouted.
Rarity's beam eventually won out and struck the shield protecting the mech, sending it back even further. As Rarity flew forward, Eggman shot a beam from the mechs left hand. Rarity quickly created a shield in the shape of a diamond and survived the attack.
"This is over, you ruffian!" Rarity shouted.
"THIS IS OVER WHEN I SAY IT'S OVER!!!" Eggman shouted as he released another wave of energy, sending Rarity flying across the sky.
Fluttershy looked nervous as she reluctantly flew forward. Eggman saw this and laughed right in her face.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! And what are you gonna do? Scold me to defeat? Don't make me laugh!" Eggman taunted.
Fluttershy then looked determined, "I'm giving you this one chance, mister. Stop all of this and apologise for what you have done."
"Pfft. Get outta my way, you coward!!! I have two worlds to conquer!!!" Eggman said.
Eggman then swiped at the shy mare with one of the mechs many tentacles to try and hit Fluttershy. She squeaked as she flew above the tentacle to avoid being hit. She looked terrified as the tentacle passed her, Eggman then raised the mechs right arm into the air and opened its palm.
A giant red orb formed in the mechs hand, much to Fluttershy's terror. Eggman laughed as he prepare to throw the giant orb.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! What's wrong? Scared? YOU SHOULD BE!!!" Eggman taunted.
He then threw the giant orb at the shy mare. All Fluttershy could do was shield her face with her wings, but by doing this, she created a large shield that protected her from the attack. The orb hit the shield and created a massive explosion that sent Fluttershy back.
She recovered and still looked scared, but she continued to push forward, not for herself, but for her friends.
"You got lucky. SURVIVE THIS!!!" Eggman shouted.
He then raised the Emperor Egg Robot's hands and fired a barrage of missiles from the mechs fingertips. Fluttershy shrieked and spread her wings in surprise, unknowingly creating a source of light behind her, which fired a giant laser that destroyed the oncoming missiles and hit the shield, sending Eggman back.
Eggman growled, but then looked and saw that the shield was starting to crack. He then screamed in anger and slammed his fists down on his console.
"YOU ANIMAL LOVING FOOL!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!" Eggman shouted in anger.
Fluttershy then pushed forward once more. She thought about what she was fighting for, her friends, her animals back home, she thought of Discord and how crushed he would be if anything happened to her.
(Pause song)
Meanwhile back in Ponyville, Discord is playing cards with Angel Bunny.
"Hmm, I feel like I'm being left out of something." The Lord of Chaos thought to himself, "Oh, nevermind."
Discord then placed the cards down onto the table.
"Gin."
Angel Bunny then proceeded to flip the table in anger.
(Resume song)
Back at the battle, Fluttershy then pushed forward to try and catch up to Eggman, who was beyond angry.
"WILL YOU GO AWAY!!!" Eggman shouted as he released yet another wave of energy, sending Fluttershy rolling through the air and breaking reality further.
Fluttershy was then caught by Applejack, who gave her a kind smile. Applejack then let go of the pegasus and flew forward. She then caught up with Eggman and glared.
"Now ya listen 'ere, ya no good varmint!!! Ah'm gonna make ya pay fer everything that you've done!!!" Applejack yelled in anger.
"Oh please. I would never lose to someone like you. You have an IQ the equivalent of room temperature. OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!" Eggman yelled.
The Emperor Egg Robot then flew towards Applejack and attempted to hit her with it giant metallic hand. Applejack flew under the attack and zoomed forward with her new found speed and punched the shield that protected the mech, cracking it even further and sending the mech back.
"NO!!!" Eggman yelled.
Eggman then fired a laser from the mechs left hand, but Applejack was having none of that and flew towards the massive beam of energy. She then proceeded to punch the beam back with her hooves. Every strike she moved closer, much to the surprise of Eggman.
"W...WHAT?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!" Eggman shouted.
Applejack eventually made it to the shield and punched it once more, sending the mech back and damaging the shield even further.
"YOU HILLBILLY IMBECILE!!!" Eggman shouted in anger.
Applejack then summoned a giant golden lasso and threw it towards the Emperor Egg Robot, she wrapped the giant lasso around the mech, hindering its movement. Applejack then flew forward at high speeds, a fiery aura surrounding her as she flew towards the mech.
"WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT NOT LOSIN' TA ME?!" Applejack shouted as she hit the shield.
The shield instantly shattered and sent the mech flying through the air while Applejack flew back due to sheer power behind the attack.
Eggman recovered and saw that his shield was gone, he then slammed his fists on his console in sheer and absolute anger, "NO!!! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!! IMPOSSIBLE!!! HOW?!!!"
Rainbow then smirked to Twilight and Sonic, "Guess it's our turn."
The Emperor Egg Robot then released a massive wave of energy that shattered the crack in the sky like glass. Now, everypony could see the dimension where Sonic and Tails came from, Mobius.
Tails then shouted in Sonic's ear, "SONIC!!! YOU GUYS NEED TO HURRY!!! I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH OUR REALITY CAN TAKE!!!"
"We're on it, pal." Sonic said as they all flew forward.
Down below on the ground, everyone could see Mobius in the sky. Ponies like Derpy, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Starlight, Trixie, even Celestia and Luna could see the damage Eggman has done. The same could be said on Mobius, people like Amy, Cream and Cheese, Rouge, Knuckles, and even Shadow could see Equis in the sky.
Each individual praying that their heroes could stop whatever was happening, well not in Shadow's case anyway, although he did have faith that his rival could pull off the win.
Back at the battle, Rainbow flew forward and stuck her tongue out at Eggman.
"Hey, Egg Breath!!! Ready for an embarrassing beatdown?!"
"YOU DARE?!!!! I'LL MAKE SURE YOU ARE ERASED FROM THE FACE OF REALITY!!!" Eggman shouted.
The Emperor Egg Robot then spread its arms out to its sides and opened its palms. It then closed them and slowly brought its hands to the front, somehow absorbing reality itself as streams of blue light was being absorbed from the sky and into the mechs hands.
Eggman then released a burst of blue light, sending Rainbow tumbling back across the sky. She shook her head and glared at the mad doctor.
"Oh, it is on." Rainbow said slowly.
She then zoomed towards the mech at a speed that no one could even see her. Eggman then tried to attack her with all of the mechs tentacles, each of them swiping in different directions to try and hit the speedy pegasus. She laughed and dodged every attack he threw at her and flew right into the chest of the mech, sending Eggman back.
"HAH!!! IN YOUR FACE!!!" Rainbow shouted.
"I'M NOT FINISHED YET!!!!" Eggman retorted in anger.
The mech then threw a punch, but it did something no one was expecting. It created a black hole where the punch had swung, literally breaking reality.
"WOAH!!!" Rainbow shouted.
The black hole began to suck Rainbow into it, she flapped her wings as she tried to escape its grasp.
"IT'S NO USE!!! GIVE UP!!!"
But Rainbow Dash was no quitter and pushed herself to the limit. She was then surrounded in a white aura and she felt more powerful. Suddenly, she zoomed out of the black holes grasp, creating a boom of white, a Super Sonic Rainboom. The black hole collapsed in on itself, much to Eggman's anger.
"NO!!!"
Rainbow then turned around as the mech fired missiles from its fingertips. Rainbow swayed left and right to avoid the missiles. A grin formed on her face as she zoomed towards the Emperor Egg Robot and hit it directly in the chest, damaging it and sending it back.
Eggman growled and released another wave of energy, breaking reality apart even further. Rainbow was sent back and was about to pursue him, but then stopped, "Eh, I'll let Twi and Sonic have some fun."
Rainbow then backed off as Twilight zoomed forward and glared at the supposed 'genius'.
"Robotnik, you need to stop. If you keep going, reality itself will break and both of our universes will be destroyed!!!" Twilight warned Eggman, but he didn't care.
"NEVER!!! I WILL NOT STOP. I WILL NEVER STOP!!! I WILL DESTROY YOU!!! I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING YOU LOVE AND MAKE YOU WATCH!!! I WON'T STOP UNTIL I WIN!!!" Eggman screamed.
Twilight sighed, "Then you truly are lost."
Eggman reeled the mech right hand back as a black orb surrounded in blue electricity began to form in its palm. He then pushed it forward as the orb split apart into multiple rotating black lasers that stood in Twilight's path. Twilight flew up and down to avoid the lasers that blocked her path. She performed a barrel roll in between two lasers and continued after Eggman.
Eggman then fired two laser blasts from the mechs hands, aimed directly at Twilight. Twilight smirked and built up as much magical energy as she could. She then released a burst of magical energy that turned Eggman's lasers into mist and damaged the mech even further, sending it back a few meters.
Eggman fired an eye laser at Twilight, but Twilight teleported out of the way and appeared right in front of the Emperor Egg Robot. Twilight then fired a massive beam from her horn and it hit the mech right in the chest and sent it flying back several feet.
Twilight then summoned multiple energy orbs that appeared all around her. She then launched them directly at the mad doctor. The orbs hit the Emperor Egg Robot and it was sent back even further.
Twilight noticed that the mech started to smoke and electricity was sparkling all around it.
"NO, NO, NO!!!" Eggman shouted.
Twilight then flew back as Sonic flew up towards the gigantic, smoking, and severely damaged mech.
"So, Eggman. How's that plan coming along?" Sonic asked knowing it would infuriate his nemesis.
Eggman snarled and glared hatefully at the yellow hedgehog.
"I know, I stop you nearly on a daily basis. It's like it's my job, or something." Sonic said.
"I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!! I HAVE THE ADVANTAGE!!! THE UPPER HAND!!! I SHOULD BE WINNING WHILE YOU ARE GROVELING AT MY FEET!!! HOW ARE YOU ALL OVERPOWERING ME?!!! "
"It's simple. You just suck." Sonic said.
That was the last straw, Eggman roared in unrivaled fury as he released the most powerful energy wave yet. It was so powerful that both dimensions shook from the sheer power of it. Sonic was sent back, but he recovered and glared at his arch enemy.
"Ngh. EGGMAN, YA NUT!!! SETTLE DOWN!!! IF YOU KEEP THIS UP, BOTH OF OUR UNIVERSES WILL COLLAPSE!!!" Sonic warned.
"If I have to destroy everything just to see you die, THEN SO BE IT!!!" Eggman shouted as he spread the mechs arms out to the sides.
He then summoned two giant, red, flaming buzzsaws and hurled them at Sonic. Sonic boosted forward and dodged the giant buzzsaws, only slightly though.
Eggman sent out a blast from the mechs hands to try and kill the hedgehog for good. Sonic simply boosted forward and plowed through the attack and hit the mech right in the chest, sending it back further. Eggman then raised every single one of the mechs appendages into the air and opened a massive rift above them.
Eggman then pulled the mechs appendages down and multiple red energy spears shot down from the rift. Sonic smirked and outmaneuvered the attacks. Sonic then boosted forward once more and hit the mech in the chest again, damaging it further and sending it back even more.
The mech was smoking badly and sparks of electricity was shooting out of the mech. Sonic then smirked and boosted forward again.
Eggman then decided to fire everything at Sonic, he fired every missile from the mechs fingertips. Sonic managed to dodge them all and continued to push forward.
Eggman was beyond angry now, "I hate that hedgehog. I Hate Him! I HATE HIM!! HATE HIM!!! HATE!!!! HATE!!! HATE!!!! HATE!!!! HAAAAAAATTTTTTEEEEE!!!!"
Eggman then fired every laser from every appendage the mech had at the yellow hedgehog. Sonic then boosted forward and charged right through the attack and curled into a ball and hit the chest of the mech with a Super Homing Attack, sending the mech back several feet.
The girls then flew next to Sonic and watched as the mech tried to recover, but the damage was too great.
Rainbow smirked and turned to Sonic, "I think we've played with him long enough."
Sonic turned and smirked, "I agree. Let's end this. Aim straight for Eggman. GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT!!!"
"YEAH!!!" They all shouted in unison.
They all boosted together towards Eggman.
Eggman glared at his approaching enemies, "I am Doctor Ivo Robotnik! I am the greatest genius this world has, AND WILL EVER KNOW!!! YOU'RE NOTHING COMPARED TO ME!!!"
"YEAH?!" Sonic shouted as they all boosted forward.
The mech raised its arms to block the approaching attack but it was in vain. They all boosted together and hit the mech right in the chest, sending it back as it started to explode.
As the mech was exploding, Twilight and Sonic glared at their enemy.
"And even with all that power." Twilight started.
"You still fall short!!!" Sonic finished.

The Emperor Egg Robot was done for, the mech exploding in several places on its body. Eggman was furious, but he wasn't done yet.
"NO!!! IT'S NOT ENDING LIKE THIS!!! I. WON'T. LOSE. LIKE. THIS!!!" Eggman shouted.
The heroes smiled as the robot was exploding right before their eyes. But that moment of triumph was short lived as a metallic ball with spikes bursted right out of the mechs chest. Another ball bursted out until a much smaller mech shot right out of the bigger mechs chest.
As the previous mech fell to the ground below in an exploding blaze of glory, the new mech flew upwards at high speeds. The mech stopped and a laser shot from its chest, the laser created a portal and Eggman flew right into it.
Sonic and the Super 6 saw this and quickly rushed into action. They all boosted forward towards the portal.
Tails then spoke into Sonic's earpiece, "Sonic, I scanned the portal Eggman just opened with my Miles Electric. It's a direct portal to the rift that brought us here. I think he's going to overcharge the Elements magic inside the rift. If he does that, he could theoretically reshape reality to his image. You and the others have the power of the Emeralds, you guys have to stop him."
"Was planning to do that anyway, bud." Sonic replied.
He then turned to the girls and smirked, "Well? What are we waiting for?" Rainbow asked.
Sonic chuckled and then turned to the portal, "Alright then. Let's finish this, Eggman."
"For good!" Twilight finished.
They all then flew into the portal to finally put a stop to Eggman and save all reality.
They then see the Emperor Egg Robot floating in the distance, it then releases a burst of red energy, damaging reality even more. Eggman then notices the group of heroes and glares at them with hatred.
They all fly towards the Emperor Egg Robot, ready to end this once and for all. Eggman snarls and raises the mech right hand, he then fires the ball of spikes at the heroes. They all dodge the attack, but are then blasted away as the ball exploded, separating them.
Another ball of spikes replaced the one that was fired. Eggman then fired a massive laser from the chest of the mech. The laser split apart and created multiple rifts that swirled around the Emperor Egg Robot, each of the rifts then fired a massive blue laser.
The group looked more determined than ever and boosted forward towards Eggman. They each flew around in multiple directions to avoid the giant lasers, the lasers ceased and the rifts closed as Twilight boosted forward to confront Eggman.
"End this now, Robotnik!!! It's over!!!" Twilight yelled.
"NEVER!!! REALITY BENDS TO MY WILL!!! I WILL ERASE YOU ALL!!!" Eggman shouted in anger.
The mech then flew forward and threw a punch at Twilight, who wasn't expecting the attack and got sent back. She recovered and fired a massive beam from her horn directly at the Emperor Egg Robot. Eggman raised the mechs arms to block the attack, although the beam sent the mech back, it didn't do as much damage as Twilight had hoped.
Eggman then fired a barrage of missiles, causing Twilight to cast a shield spell to block the incoming attack. The sheer power from the explosions that followed sent Twilight back. As Twilight flew back, Sonic and Rainbow flew past her and went straight for Eggman.
Eggman then launched the pistons on the mechs forearms into the air and they began swirling around him. Three of the pistons floated towards the front of the mech while the other three swirled around the mad doctor. The pistons then each fired a laser to try and hit the two super speedsters.
The front pistons moved from right to left in an attempt to hit the pair. Sonic flew under the lasers while Rainbow flew above them. The three pistons swirling around the mech then opened fire as Sonic and Rainbow dashed forward. As the lasers swirled around, the two speedsters had to think quick on their feet and fly around the lasers with a series of flips and rolls.
The pair then boosted towards the mech, "Seriously, Eggman! When will it be enough?!" Sonic asked furiously.
"I WON'T STOP UNTIL I WATCH YOU DIE!!!" Eggman replied.
"No-one's dying on my watch, EggFace!!!" Rainbow yelled as they both boosted forward.
Eggman then flew forward and fired a laser from the mechs eyes. Sonic and Dash flew apart in separate directions to avoid the lasers. They flew back around they both hit the mechs head from both left and right. Once Rainbow and Sonic had hit the mech, Applejack and Rarity flew forward and hit the mech in the chest at the same time, sending it back.
Applejack and Rarity moved apart, giving way for Pinkie and Fluttershy to fly forward and hit the mech in the chest as well. Eggman growled and released a burst of energy, causing more damage to reality.
"DON'T ANY OF YOU GET IT?! NONE OF YOU CAN STOP ME!!!" Eggman shouted.
The group then flew together towards the mad doctor.
"Are you sure about that?" Pinkie asked.
Eggman then growled in anger and fired a laser from the mechs chest, the laser approached the group of heroes at high speeds. They all smirked and boosted forward together and collided with the beam. They began quickly overpowering the beam and eventually hit the mech right in the chest, causing damage to it and sending it back.
The mech then released another burst of energy, turning the void they were all in completely red. They were running out of time, they had to finish this now.
"Reality's starting to break apart!!!" Twilight shouted in alarm.
"We need to destroy that mech!!!" Sonic said.
"YOU WILL DO NOTHING!!!" Eggman shouted as he flew forward towards the heroes and shoulder charged them all.
Eggman wasted no time and fired a barrage of missiles, not giving them time to recover from the attack. Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie were hit by some of the missiles while Applejack, Rainbow, Twilight, and Sonic all dodged the missiles.
Sonic then flew forward as Eggman threw another punch, Sonic rolled over the giant arm and pushed forward towards the head of the mech.
"EGGMAN, THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" Sonic shouted.
"NO! THIS DOESN'T END UNTIL I SEE YOU DEAD, YOU SPEEDY SLIME BALL!!!" Eggman shouted.
Sonic was about to reach the head of the mech, but it suddenly teleported away. Sonic turned around, only to be hit by a giant spiked ball by Eggman as he reappeared behind the hedgehog. Sonic flew across the void as Rainbow and Applejack flew forward to try and hit the mech.
Eggman simply teleported away again before they could reach him. He then appeared again and hit them with a laser from the mechs chest. Eggman then flew towards Fluttershy and Pinkie and backhanded them away, he then turned to Rarity and blocked a blast of magic she fired from her horn and then punched her across the void.
Twilight then fired a beam from her horn to try and hit the mech. Eggman then teleported away, only to reappear to the left. Twilight fired another blast but Eggman teleported away again, he reappeared and disappeared as Twilight kept trying to hit him with magical blasts from her horn.
Eggman then appeared behind her and attempted to crush her with both of his spike balls, only to be pushed away by a Homing Attack by Sonic. Twilight turned to Sonic and they both smiled at one another as Eggman released another burst of energy from within the mech.
Twilight and Sonic both dashed forward as Eggman fired many missiles at the pair. They dodged and swayed away from the missiles and approached the mech. Eggman then pushed them back with a dispersal of energy.
"I have grown tired of these games. Time for the finale." Eggman said as the mech was suddenly engulfed in a rainbow flaming aura.
The heroes regrouped and saw what Eggman was doing, he was overcharging the Elements.
"He's charging somethin' up." Applejack said with worry evident in her voice.
"It's the Elements, he's going to reshape reality! We have to stop him!" Twilight said.
They all nodded and boosted forward. Eggman then smiled and formed a barrier around him, when they hit the barrier, they were sent back miles away.
The heroes were stunned as Eggman laughed, "MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO!!! LONG LIVE THE EGGMAN EMPIRE!!!"

They all looked on in fear, they had failed. Eggman was going to reshape reality in his image. They had lost.
"What do we do?" Rarity asked.
"What can we do? We can't get through that barrier!" Rainbow shouted.
"There has to be something we can do." Fluttershy said.
"There is." Sonic said.
They all turned to him with confusion written all over their faces.
"There is always something we can do, but we can't do it alone. We can stop Eggman, by working together." Sonic said.
Twilight smiled as she continued, "He's right. There's nothing we can't do by working together. Eggman may have the power of the Elements. But we have something far stronger."
They all smiled and came together in a single line, facing the Emperor Egg Robot. Suddenly, each of them started to glow as they all closed their eyes, their bonds of friendship finally showing its true power.
Eggman noticed this and looked at them confused, "What?"
They then each opened their eyes as their power erupted into the sky, a white aura surrounding all of them. They all then boosted forward, ready to end this.
Eggman didn't look amused, in fact, he looked mad.
"OH, WHY CAN'T YOU ALL JUST DIE?!" Eggman shouted.
"Because we have a power that's stronger than anything you've got, EggHead!" Sonic shouted.
"Our loyalty to each other make us stronger!" Rainbow shouted.
"Our kindness gives us power!" Fluttershy shouted.
"Our generosity!" Rarity shouted.
"Our laughter!" Pinkie shouted.
"Our honesty!" Applejack shouted.
"Our magic!" Twilight shouted.
"ALL OF THESE COMBINE TOGETHER TO CREATE THE GREATEST MAGIC OF ALL!!! FRIENDSHIP!!!" They all shouted in unison.
"WELL GUESS WHAT?! IT'S GAME OVER!!!" Eggman shouted as he finished charging up the Elements power, "ELEMENTAL BLASTER!!!" Eggman shouted as he fired a rainbow beam from the mechs chest towards the heroes.
The heroes and the Elemental Blaster collided in the middle of the void. The heroes struggled to overcome the gigantic laser, but they couldn't fail, if they did, reality would reset and Eggman would get what he wants.
Eggman saw them struggle and laughed, "OH HO HO HO HO HO HO HO!!! YOU CAN'T OVERPOWER THE ELEMENTAL BLASTER!!! DO US ALL A FAVOUR AND JUST LAY DOWN AND DIE!!!"
But they wouldn't give up, they had too much to lose if they failed. They all grunted as they channeled all of their strength to overcome the Elemental Blaster.
"YOU WON'T WIN, EGGMAN!!! I'LL NEVER LET YOU WIN!!!" Sonic shouted.
"WE WILL STOP YOU!!! WE WILL SAVE REALITY!!!" Twilight shouted.
"BECAUSE FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC!!!" They all shouted in unison.
They all then shot forward and actually began overpowering the Elemental Blaster as they flew closer to Eggman.
"WHAT?!! NO!!! THIS CAN'T BE!!! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO OVERPOWER THE ELEMENTAL BLASTER!!!" Eggman shouted in disbelief.
"THERE'S NOTHING THE SEVEN OF US CAN'T DO TOGETHER!!! VICTORY IS OURS FOR THE TAKING!!!" Sonic shouted.
"SONIC FRIENDSHIP SUPERBOOM!!!" They all shouted as they overpowered the Elemental Blaster.
The group of heroes shot forward and headed straight towards Eggman, who was doing everything he could to stop them, but alas, he couldn't. He screamed in anger as they shot right through the chest of the mech and came out the other side. A variety of colours shooting from out the back of the mech and being absorbed by the Element Bearers, they had their magic back.
They turned around to see the Emperor Egg Robot start to explode.
"I hate friendship! I hate magic! I hate those ponies! AND I. HATE. THAT. HEDGEHOG!!!!" Eggman screamed as the mech exploded in a flash of white light.
Suddenly, the entirety of the void was then engulfed in a white light, which engulfed the heroes as well.

Back in Equestria, a bright light shot out from the portal, the entire planet of Equis was engulfed in a white light. When the light dissipated, the tear in reality was gone. Canterlot and all the other Roboticized nations were back to normal, as were its citizens.
Everypony cheered as it seemed that everything turned out okay. The same could be said on Mobius, there was cheering and celebrations, even Shadow cracked a small smile.
Back in Canterlot, Tails and Spike looked around and saw that the castle was restored to its former glory. They then ran outside and saw that everything had gone back to normal. They cheered and shared a fist bump. Suddenly, their eyes caught a white orb descending down to the ground.
The orb touched the ground and instantly disappeared, they both could then clearly see Sonic and the girls, who were in their normal forms, standing before them.
The two then rushed over and they all joined in a group hug, and it was a well deserved one at that.
It's been a few hours since Eggman was defeated and everything was restored to its former glory. The struggle against the Eggman Empire has ended and it was time for some R&R.
Sonic and Tails walked around with the Mane 6 around Canterlot, the girls giving their two interdimensional friends a tour of the royal city.
"So, this is what Canterlot looks like when it isn't in ruins, huh? Not bad." Sonic complimented.
"I agree. Very impressive." Tails commented.
"Heh heh, thanks. I knew you two would like it." Twilight said.
As they continued to walk around the city, they were suddenly interrupted by a wormhole which appeared in the sky above them. They then saw Eggman in his Egg Mobile crash down near the edge of the city.
They all looked at one another and rushed over to see what was happening. When they arrived, they saw Eggman lying on the floor on his back, his Egg Mobile smoking next to him.
Eggman groaned and sat up, rubbing his forehead with his hand.
"Ugh. What happened?" The mad doctor asked.
Sonic cleared his throat and Eggman turned to see the heroes glaring at him, except Sonic, who had a smirk on his face.
"So, how was your flight?" Sonic asked mockingly.
Eggman growled and got to his feet and dusted himself off.
"Gloat all you want, hedgehog!!! But this is far from over!!!" Eggman shouted.
"Doesn't look like it from our point of view." Rainbow said.
Twilight then stepped forward, "Ivo Robotnik. As the Princess of Equestria, I hereby declare you under arrest for the various atrocities committed against Equestria."
Orbot and Cubot then arrived on the scene and floated past Twilight, who looked confused for a moment.
"Where'd you two come from?" Twilight asked.
The two robots shrugged and floated next to their boss, who had his arms crossed.
"Well, boss. I guess you can add another failed plan to the list of your failed plans now, huh?" Cubot said, unaware that Eggman was getting angry.
"Uh, Cubot-" Orbot said but was cut off.
"I mean, you had the power to rewrite reality, and you still lost. Wow, that is bad, even for you." Cubot continued.
Eggman growled as Orbot attempted to shut him up.
"Cubot-" Orbot tried to get a word in.
"It's been what, thirty years, since you first lost to Sonic. Jeez, I would've quit by now, for sure."
As Cubot continued to ramble on, Eggman growled even louder until he finally couldn't take it anymore.
"OH, SHUT UP!!!" Eggman screamed as he went to kick Cubot, but Cubot quickly floated out of his reach, causing Eggman to spin around in the air before falling on his back.
Orbot and Cubot then floated away as Eggman got up and chased after them, screaming like a madman. As they ran, Twilight suddenly stopped them and encased them in a spell that ceased their movements. She then floated them towards her and set them down.
She then turned to Sonic, "Normally he would be sent to Tartarus, but since he comes from your world, I'll let you decide what to do with him."
"We'll take him back with us. He's our problem after all." Sonic replied.
Eggman growled as he got back up to his feet and glared at Sonic and Twilight.
"I'll be back, I can promise you that. I'll return to this dimension, and the Elements will be mine once again!" Eggman then turned around and began running to the edge of the city, "Only next time, I'll make my mech stronger!" Eggman then pressed on of the yellow buttons on his jacket and a jetpack appeared on his back. He jumped off the edge of the city, but he just floated there, wondering why he wasn't moving. "Hm, funny. Why isn't my jetpack working?"
The jetpack wasn't working because on of its exhaust hoses was missing.
"Hm, maybe because I, borrowed the exhaust hose?" Sonic said as he held the exhaust hose.
Eggman then gulped and fell down to the water below, "SOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNIIIIIIIICCCCCCC!!!" Eggman screamed as he fell.
"See you next fall, EggHead!" Sonic shouted as he chucked the exhaust hose behind him and smirked at the girls.
Twilight smiled at the blue hedgehog, "Well then, now that that's taken care of-"
"WE HAVE A PARTY TO GET TO!!!" Pinkie screamed as she cut Twilight off.
A short while later in Canterlot Castle, a party in celebration was being held inside, courtesy of Pinkie Pie. There was a banner that hung above the door that said 'THANKS-FOR-HELPING-US-SAVE-REALITY-SONIC & TAILS'.
Tails and Spike were walking around, chatting about being sidekicks, or assistants, in Spike's case.
There were ponies playing party games and drinking fruit punch, laughing and having a good time. The only person not having a good time was Eggman, who was sitting in a cage in the corner of the room, pouting in defeat.
"I really hate those ponies." Eggman muttered.
Sonic then walked past the cage and smirked, "Cheers, EggHead." Sonic said as he raised his glass into the air as he past the mad genius.
Eggman then grabbed the bars of his cage and shouted, "AND I REALLY HATE YOU!!!"
Sonic laughed as he walked over to the girls, who were talking.
"So, we did it." Sonic said.
"That we did." Applejack replied.
Sonic was then suddenly pulled into a group hug by the Mane 6, who had tears in their eyes.
"We can't thank you enough, Sonic." Twilight said.
"We owe ya big time, sugarhog." Applejack said.
"You're one of the nicest creatures I have ever met." Fluttershy said.
"We are in your debt, darling." Rarity said.
"Promise that when you leave, you'll come visit us?" Pinkie asked.
Sonic chuckled and smiled kindly, "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Sonic promised as he did the motions of the Pinkie Promise.
The hug ended and they all laughed. Rainbow then smirked at the hedgehog, "You know, we have a score to settle."
Sonic then shook his head and chuckled, "You're right. In fact, why wait?"

The heroes then walked outside the castle and made their way to the main road. Sonic and Rainbow then walked to the middle of the road and smirked at each other.
"Ready to eat my dust?" Rainbow asked.
"Only if you're ready to eat mine." Sonic retorted.
Everyone sighed at their cockiness.
Twilight then flew over the pair and hovered in front of the two speedsters, flapping her wings to keep her airborne.
"Okay, it's a race around the entirety of Equestria. This is the starting line and the finish line. Whoever makes it back here first, wins." Twilight explained.
They both smirked as the got ready.
"Ready?" Twilight asked.
Sonic crouched down into a running position while Rainbow readied her wings.
"3."
Sonic smirked and glanced at Rainbow Dash.
"2."
Rainbow glanced at Sonic as well.
"1."
They readied themselves for the race of their lives.
"GO!"
They both then zoomed right out of Canterlot to prove who was the fastest thing alive. Though it didn't matter who was the fastest. What did matter was the bonds that were forged in this adventure. And thanks to those bonds, they will all be friends forever.
