Godzilla and the Main Six are in for a loop when a three-headed space monster arrives to Equestria with a thirst for destruction.
It’s been two years since the fight between Godzilla and the MUTO Prime broke out near Ponyville in the Everfree forest. The Equestrians have calmed down since the incident and nearly forgotten about the threat of giant monsters invading their towns. It seemed everything was back to normal. Unfortunately, the evils of the past can always come back to haunt the present.
A massive meteor makes landfall in Appaloosa, creating a cause for alarm amongst the Main Six. It goes from bad to worse when the “meteor” turns out to be the prison of King Ghidorah, a enormous triple-headed extraterrestrial Titan whom is hell-bent on wreaking havoc on Equestria. When the destructive kaiju breaks free and begins his campaign of terror, Godzilla and the Main Six must once again band together to drive the villainous monster off their world.
Nothing but the cold, unwelcoming, hostile feeling of black nothingness. There was just emptiness, a void deeper than any ocean. There was no light shining through a little hole.
But then, miraculously, there was light.
Twilight weakly opened her eyes, groaning in dismay as she covered her face with a hoof. The sunlight shined with a immense degree of brightness that threatened to blind the alicorn. After a few moments, her eyes adjusted to the sun and she finally found the comfort to remove her hoof. Once she adapted to her surroundings, Twilight immediately noticed she was sitting in a meadow covered in bright green dew-covered grass and countless numbers of flowers sporting almost every known color in existance. She whipped herself around, spotting Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie sitting under a tree with their backs facing the alicorn.
“What the?” Twilight said, rubbing her eyes in a attempt to clear her vision. After the blurriness clouding her sight dissipated, Twilight realized this wasn’t a hallucination.
“Hey! Hey, guys!” Twilight hollered. Despite her yelling, the three equines remained still. Twilight raised an eyebrow in confusion.
“Hello? Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie! Can you hear me?” Twilight hollered again. But her friends made no effort to move. Twilight furrowed her brow in frustration. Now this was getting agitating. Twilight sighed loudly as she trotted towards her friends in a huff.
“Why are you ignori-“
Suddenly, the three “ponies” twisted their heads backwards to stare at a now horrified Twilight, their faces contorting rapidly until they appeared to be horribly deformed and their eyes beginning to glow blood-red.
“G-Guys...? W-What’s g-going on....?” Twilight stammered, slowly backing up. The three equines suddenly began to grow in size while interwining their bodies together, morphing into a giant, hideous three-headed beast. Twilight’s pupils shrank to the size of apple seeds as she gazed upon the towering monstrosity before her.
“SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKK!!!!” The beast roared. Twilight yelped as the beast charged after her, forcing the alicorn to run down a hill. The monster began firing streams of red electricity at Twilight, earning terrified shrieks as the purple alicorn began dodging the blasts. Twilight whipped around, returning fire with her own bursts of energy. The energy blasts hit the creature square in the chest, but it did not react to her attacks. The monster swung its terrible spiked tail at Twilight, sending the alicorn flying into a tree. Twilight spreaded her wings and took off into the air just as another electric energy ball flew towards her.
“AAAAAHHHHH!!” Twilight screamed as she flew off into the sky. She turned her head, gasping in horror as the beast was chasing after her. She flapped her wings as hard as possible, but the beast kept gaining on her. Twilight turned around and kept firing magic blasts at the monster, watching one of her more powerful blasts burn through the monster’s chest. The creature screeched as it seemingly disintegrated into dust. Twilight released a breath of relief, placing a hoof on her chest.
“Phew...” Twilight sighed. Suddenly, streams of black, smoke-like steam began appearing out of thin air. In moments, the substance morphed into two more of the triple-headed beasts.
“SWEET CELESTIA!” Twilight yelled, dodging the wicked talons of one of the beasts. She bolted higher into the sky to escape the monsters. Unfortunately for Twilight, the once clear blue color of the sky morphed into a hellish red. Black clouds angrily hovered over Twilight, purple lightning crackling with burning hate. Twilight screamed as she dodged the lightning bolts, diving back down towards the ground. Instead of a lively meadow, the ground was transformed into a burning wasteland. Twilight landed on the crusty, soot-filled ground, her eyes widening with shock. She didn’t have time to react as the two three-headed monsters lunged at the alicorn. Twilight dodged the attacks and ran towards a opening in panic. Three more monsters suddenly blocked her path, firing another set of red electric beams at the purple alicorn. Twilight yelped, one of the blasts managing to singe the tips of her wings. She fluttered out of the beasts’ path to avoid another set of burning electricity. The writhing mass of inferno and soil spat out several more monsters, throwing them towards Twilight.
“What ARE these creatures?!” Twilight exclaimed in terror. She fled as the monstrosities began chasing after her with fire in their eyes and saliva dripping down their wicked jaws. Twilight found her wings beginning to tire with every flap. She could only hold out for so long. But with the fear of death enveloping the alicorn, Twilight couldn’t let her life be stripped away by these monsters. Igniting her horn, Twilight began firing vollies of magic blasts at the creatures with rapid-fire speed, managing to off only a dozen of the creatures. One of the monsters managed to finally land a blow on Twilight’s mid-section with it’s claws, sending the princess careening towards the floor. Twilight landed on her left side, a pained scream escaping her lips. She recovered from the fall and stood up, watching three more monsters land in front of her. Twilight felt her exhaustion catching up to her. Twilight realized she was too spent from flying and shooting at the wicked beasts. But that didn’t stop her. Twilight began firing another set of magic projectiles at the beasts in a attempt to destroy them. No matter how many monsters she brought down, more kept appearing. Twilight found herself surrounded by a swarming horde of monsters threatening to reduce her to bones. Twilight pushed herself to take off into the sky and fight the monsters head on. She opened fire on the beasts and offed several of the monsters, digging holes in the beasts’ bodies and obliterating them. Her efforts were in vain as more monsters spawned from the remains of their fallen allies. A flurry of electric fire rained down on Twilight, forcing her to weave and dodge out of the projectiles’ path. Completely exhausted, Twilight fell back towards the burning earth. She yelped in pain upon impacting the ground, weakly lifting her head to gaze upon the swarm of beasts hovering over her. In a flash of lightning, the monsters merged together to form a towering triple-headed beast. Unlike the smaller monsters whom resembled demonic versions of Twilight’s friends, the new creature seemed to take the form of a golden winged three-headed dragon. The dragon loomed over Twilight, three pairs of crimson eyes glaring daggers at her.
“A dragon? What dragon has three heads?” Twilight asked herself. But she didn’t get an answer when the dragon roared and lunged at Twilight, swallowing the alicorn whole.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” Twilight screamed, nearly jumping out of her bed. Her whole body was drenched in sweat, her eyes welling with tears. Spike jumped in alert upon hearing his sister scream.
“AHH! WHAT’S HAPPENING? ARE WE BEING ATTACKED?!” Spike yelled in alarm. Twilight blindly grabbed her little brother in her hooves, holding the young dragon close to her chest.
“I’M HOME... I’M HOME AND SAFE... I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE!!” Twilight yelled.
“Twilightf... you arf.... squishinghf... meeee...!” Spike muffled, his face pressed into Twilight’s bosom. Twilight realized she had not taken the little blueish-white pillow lying next to her in her hooves and had grabbed Spike instead.
“Whoops... Sorry, Spike.” Twilight apologized, letting go of the little dragon.
“What are you doing screaming in the middle of the night?” Spike asked in a annoyed tone while tiredly rubbing his eyes.
“I, uh, had a really bad nightmare. It’s nothing to worry about, Spike.” Twilight replied.
“Okay, whatever. I’m going back to bed.” Spike said, slumping back into his little basket. Twilight sighed as she stared at her window, watching the countless number of stars sparkle in the night sky. Her stomach wrenched with a unpleasant feeling, like it had twisted itself in a tight knot. Twilight got the feeling her nightmare wasn’t any ordinary dream. She finally dismissed the feeling and laid her head back down on her pillow, returning to the hopefully peaceful realm of sleep.
Twilight woke up with the sun beaming its light straight into her face, forcing the alicorn to shield her eyes. Twilight sat up, yawning tiredly as she slid off of her bed. She took a quick peek at Spike, who was still peacefully asleep in his little basket bed, and lovingly smiled. She quietly gave her little brother a quick kiss on his forehead before trotting towards the kitchen. She sauntered over to the table top, turning on a small, box-shaped radio to listen to the news while making breakfast.
“Good Morning, Equestria!” A jolly male voice rang out. “It’s going to be a lovely day down in Ponyville, as always. The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and everypony’s going about their daily business. Speaking of, I can’t believe today marks the two-year anniversary of that dreadful incident down in the Everfree Forest.”
“I know right? You know, Mango Pop, I was actually there to witness the whole monster fight go down. It looked like it came straight from a movie!” Replied a feminine voice.
“That must have been a real spectacle, huh? From what the reports said, one of the four monsters present in the forest had single-handedly fought off the other three monsters during the whole fiasco.”
“That monster sure was strong. Though, I do truly hope we’ve seen the last of the kaiju.”
“I hope so too. Well, that’s all for the morning news. See ya next time, on the Sunny Days sta-“
Twilight switched off the radio before the newscaster could finish his statement. Twilight finished brewing her coffee, sitting down on a chair and looking out of the window. But instead of a light blue sky and puffy clouds, she saw Pinkie Pie’s grinning face plastered to the glass, staring at Twilight in a unsettling manner.
“HIYA, TWI-“
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!”
Twilight threw her coffee mug at the window in a panic, inadvertedly hitting her target. The purple alicorn nearly fell off her seat while panicking. After recovering from the panic attack, Twillight rushed out of the castle, approaching Pinkie as the pink pony dusted herself off.
“Pinkie, I’m so sorry! Are you alright?” Twilight exclaimed.
“Fit as a fiddle!” Pinkie replied, wearing a smile while appearing as if nothing happened.
“Why were you staring into my window?” Twilight asked.
“Dunno, just thought I dropped by. Oh, and Princess Celestia’s holding the 400th year anniversary for Equestria in Canterlot.” Pinkie answered.
“WHAT?! WHY DIDN’T YOU SAY THAT SOONER? OH, MY FAUST, I’M GOING TO BE LATE!!” Twilight panicked, rushing upstairs to prepare for the celebration.
“I’ll just wait here, then.” Pinkie called out.
***
After Twilight woke Spike up and got ready for the celebration, she and her brother hurriedly ran out the castle, with Pinkie following close behind. As Twilight, Pinkie, and Spike arrived to the train station, they met with the rest of the Main 6.
“Howdy, y’all. Ya fellers made it right on time, th’ train’s about ta arrive.” Applejack said. Rarity was sitting on a bench, wearing a fabulous light-blue dress laced with rubies and a pretty purple ribbon tied to her neck collar. A medium-sized pink fedora sporting a decorative crimson feather sat comfortably on the white unicorn’s head.
“I’m so excited! I heard Princess Celestia is hosting the celebration in a gala! Imagine all the beautiful tapestry, gems, and decorations! I can almost hear the elegant and soothing sound of the music.” Rarity said in a giggly tone.
“I heard the Wonderbolts are attending the anniversary! It’s gonna be so cool! I can’t hardly wait!” Rainbow Dash squealed. Twilight laughed a little before turning to Fluttershy, who was quietly standing in wait for the train.
“Hey, Fluttershy. I bet you’re excited for the celebration. Maybe there’ll be a petting zoo in the town square. You’ll definitely love that.” Twilight said. Fluttershy gave a small smile to Twilight before turning her head away. Twilight sighed as she walked up to the yellow pegasus.
“You miss him, don’t you?” Twilight asked.
“You have no clue. Godzilla grew up so fast. It feels like yesterday he had hatched from his egg and now he’s twice the size of a mountain and most likely sleeping on a beach in some faraway island. He’s probably getting a sun tan as we speak.” Fluttershy said jokingly. Twilight chuckled at her statement.
“.... But, sometimes I wonder if he’s really okay. I mean, sure he can defend himself just fine. But... I worry for him a lot.” Fluttershy said.
“I’m sure he’s doing just fine, Fluttershy. Besides, Godzilla’s on top of the natural food chain. An alpha predator like him doesn’t have to worry about getting eaten. Godzilla’s so huge and powerful, not even a full grown dragon would dare to even think about attacking him.” Twilight assured. The distinct sound of a train’s whistle grabbed everypony’s attention. The train had just arrived to the station, prompting the Main 6 to enter the locomotive and depart for Canterlot.
Canterlot was bursting with joy, laughter, and tons of partying. It was Equestria’s 400th anniversary of freedom, and nopony could be any more happier. Princess Celestia was standing on her balcony, wearing a beautiful golden dress with diamonds embedded in it. She merrily waved a hoof to a passing stallion, sincerely wearing a wide grin on her face. Celestia turned her head, noticing Princess Luna approaching the older Diarch.
“Why do you look so downtrodden, Lulu? Everyone’s having so much fun in the town square, you should be joining them.” Celestia said with a joyous tone in her voice.
“I would really love to, sister. But I’m afraid I discovered something rather unsettling.” Luna replied. Celestia’s smile immediately faded from the Sun Diarch’s face.
“Can you show me, sister?” Celestia asked. Luna nodded and led her older sister to a second balcony, where a golden telescope sat in the center of the platform.
“A few days ago, was taking a casual peek at the sky when I noticed something peculiar. Thou would want to see this.” Luna said, pointing Celestia to the eastern side of the sky. Celestia pointed the telescope at the direction she was directed to and peered through the scope, resting her eye on a glowing object. While it was miles away from Equestria, Celestia knew the light was coming from a meteor.
“Lulu, meteors pass us all the time.”
“Not this one. I asked one of our scientists to determine it’s trajectory. He proposed that the meteor is on a collision course with the Crystal Empire. Though it was too early to tell.” Luna explained in a worrying tone. Celestia gasped in shock, rubbing her head in worry.
“Do you know when the meteor will hit?” Celestia asked.
“It was supposed to land in three days. However, I checked up on it just last night and it seems to have gotten off course and now not only has it been redirected towards Appaloosa, I calculated the time of arrival...” Luna replied.
“When will it arrive...?”
“In less than three hours.”

Twilight and the others had finally arrived to Canterlot, none of them being able to contain their excitement. Pinkie was literally bouncing off the walls, giggling in a near maniacal manner.
“LOOK AT ALL THE POPCORN AND THE COTTON CANDY AND THE CHOCOLATES! AND THERE’S EVERY SINGLE FLAVOR OF CAKE IN EXISTANCE, TOO! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I’M GETTING A MENTAL SUGAR RUSH!!!’ Pinkie exclaimed happily, tripping on a garbage can and flopping into a concession stand by accident.
“I’M OKAY!” Pinkie yelled, walking out like nothing happened. Twilight giggled at Pinkie’s excessive amount of hype, watching the pink Earth pony frolick with glee. Soon after, the rest of the Main 6 joined in the fun, leaving Twilight and Spike alone.
“I hear the cotton candy’s a big hit with the visitors.” Spike said, licking his lips in anticipation of tasting the sweet, strawberry-flavored bundle of edible pink fluff he had come to love. Twilight developed a craving for cotton candy herself.
“Well, we just gotta see for ourselves, Spike.” Twilight said, trotting over to the cotton candy stand. Seemingly out of nowhere, Twilight felt her head swell with a throbbing sensation.
“Ow, my head...” Twilight groaned.
“Twily, what’s the matter?” Spike asked.
“It’s nothing, Spike. I’m fi- AHH!” Twilight wasn’t able to finish her statement when the alicorn suddenly froze in place. A vision had spontaneously appeared to the alicorn. It was pitch black, with the exception of three pairs of crimson eyes glaring at her. Three draconic heads emerged from the darkness, baring their razor-sharp teeth. In a flash, the three draconic heads opened their jaws and lashed out at a frozen Twilight. Finally, she snapped out of her vision-induced trance and backed up, shaking her head.
“Twilight!” Spike yelped. Twilight managed to regain focus, rubbing her head again.
“.... We need to see Princess Luna. I don’t think the nightmare I had last night was normal...” Twilight stated, heading towards the massive castle standing before them.
A towering gun-metal grey prison house stood silently over its grassy foundation like a statue, its pointed castle-like roof tips slicing through clouds as they tried to float by. Unlike most jailhouses in Equestria, the Isla Soarna Prison was built on top of a floating island as a precaution to prevent any prisoner from escaping. It’s so high up in the sky, only pegasi could access the prison. Inside the deteriorating walls, hundreds upon hundreds of jail cells were lined up next to each other in a organized fashion. Criminals were housed in the tight cells, forced to spend their days lying on rock-hard beds while staring at the ceiling. Sitting inside a wider jail cell, Onix Star was busy flicking a pebble at the wall. He’s been at this for hours, and the excessive amount of boredom was reaching its peak. But it wasn’t merely boredom that kept nagging at the former sergeant’s mind. He was fixated on seeking vengeance on the one responsible for imprisoning him. The one who shattered his dreams of gaining fame and popularity among the citizens of Canterlot. He had hoped to win the affections of Canterlot’s residents after quelling the monster threat. He figured they would be more appreciative of his efforts. Afterall, The Fillypines had been less welcoming to Onix due to other reasons only he knew. But now, his great ambitions were broken. His dreams were nothing but memories. And Princess Celestia was to blame for it all. Onix needed to escape, to put his vengeance plan in fruition. But there was no way out of this building.
Or is there a way?
Onix noticed a light-grey stallion clad in a dull blue uniform standing right in front of his cell. He eyed his key chain, narrowing his eyes. Onix realized this officer was his ticket to freedom. All he had to do was make the officer enter his striking range.
“Hey, officer, how much did you pay for those dirty hand-me-downs?” Onix asked, stirring a couple of low chuckles from several other cells. The officer refused to answer Onix and kept quiet.
“You seem a little quiet there. Let me guess: Ex-wife got your tongue.” Onix said, getting nothing but louder chuckling and even a couple of laughs.
“You must be thinking over all the terrible life choices you made before getting a job here. Can I ask you something? Do you think it’s worth working in this dead-end job? Knowing that whatever good deeds you may accomplish might amount to nothing?” Onix continued to prod. The officer, now visibly annoyed, tried to ignore him again.
“It’s not worth working for Princess Celestia. She lies and destroys dreams. I wanted to be a hero, slaying those monsters and saving Equestria. But Celestia shut my weapons program down, and threw me in jail all because she suddenly got soft for a monster. Why do you want some liar to lead Equestria? She’s clearly not fit for leadership.” Onix stated. The officer was fed up with the former sergeant and faced the snickering stallion with a scowl.
“No one talks about the Princess that way!” The officer exclaimed, grabbing hold of the bars. Without warning, Onix grabbed hold of the officer’s left hoof.
“What are you gonna do, tough guy? Give me a lecture? HA!” Onix stated, unsheathing a knife hidden in his pocket. He plunged the blade into the officer’s chest, shoving it deep into his heart.
“Equestria needs a new ruler, one who isn’t a emotional weakling like Celestia. Sadly, everypony in Equestria worships that pathetic wretch like she was a goddess. Well, it’s about time I show everypony how blind to the truth they have been.” Onix hissed, ripping the knife out of the officer’s chest cavity. The officer coughed up trails of blood as he slumped over on the ground, going limp after a few seconds of deathly twitching. Onix snagged the deceased officer’s keys and unlocked his cell doors, freeing himself.
“Hey! Let us outta here!”
“Free us!”
“Come on, let us free!”
Onix glared at the other prisoners, smiling with glee as they desperately pleaded for freedom.
“Sorry, boys. I have business to attend to and I have no time for dilly-dallying. Have a good day.” Onix stated, casually walking out of the hallway. He used his knife to break the magic inhibitor strapped to his horn, slicing the metal device off in a clean swipe. Onix grinned with delight as he was able to feel the rough keratin of his horn once again. As he turned a corner, the unicorn was halted by a couple of what appeared to be rookie officers.
“YOU, STOP RIGHT THERE!” Yelled the female officer. She charged at Onix with a spear in hoof. Onix chuckled to himself as he immediately stabbed his knife into the mare’s throat, kicking the officer into a wall. The second officer tried to attack, but Onix quickly incapacitated the pegasus with a hard kick to the face. With the two guards out of the way, Onix ignited his horn with a crimson aura and fired a massive concussive blast of magic at the front door, incinerating the front entrance and any nearby guards in a huge explosion. The dull crimson unicorn took a moment to breathe in the fresh outdoor scent.
“Ahh, the winds of change. I could feel their soothing embrace already.” Onix said to himself, walking towards the edge of the island, looking down from his perch. Right as he was about to jump, a spear lodged itself right next to the unicorn’s hoofs.
“STOP RIGHT THERE!!!” Yelled a squad of guards. The guards unsheathed their weapons, preparing to open fire at Onix.
“Oh no, it’s the calvary! Whatever shall I do?” Onix mockingly exclaimed. He fired a volley of magic blasts at the guards, dispatching each and every one of them. With a insane bout of laughter, Onix enveloped himself in a magic bubble and lifted himself off of the island, floating away from his former prison.
“So long, losers! Thanks for nothing!” Onix exclaimed, disappearing into the clouds.
Twilight and Spike entered the castle, giving a respectful nod to the two guards standing in the front entrance. It has been quite a while since the Princess of Friendship had visited the castle. She noticed new sets of decorations on the walls and sets of furniture she didn’t remember. Twilight could only guess that Celestia had done a bit of remodeling in the castle. Twilight opened the two massive doors leading to the throneroom, finding Celestia and Luna quietly conversing with their messanger. The Sun Diarch turned her attention towards the purple alicorn upon hearing the throne room doors open.
“Twilight? Spike? What a surprise. I thought you two would be enjoying the celebration with the others.” Celestia stated.
“I wish I was.” Twilight replied. Celestia approached Twilight and her assistant and warmly greeted them with a hug.
“Nonetheless, it’s always a pleasure to see you. You look troubled. What’s the matter?” Celestia asked.
“I wanted to speak with Luna. It’s about a nightmare I had last night.” Twilight answered, piquing Luna’s interest.
“A nightmare? Please, tell me about thy bad dream.” Luna said.
“Well, in the nightmare I woke up in this big meadow. It was quite beautiful, to be honest. Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie were sitting on a log in a eerily quiet manner. I tried to make contact, but they just suddenly turned their heads around and glared at me with big red eyes. The next thing I knew, they just merged to form this grotesque winged three-headed monster of some sort. To make it worse, more of those beasts appeared. I tried fighting it off, but every time I defeat a monster, more monsters materialized out of thin air. All of a sudden, all the monsters just combined into this ginormous dragon.” Twilight said.
“A dragon? Can you describe its appearnce?” Celestia asked.
“I can’t remember much, but the dragon was solid gold in color and it stood on two legs ending in clawed feet. It had two tails, and bore giant wings that took the place of arms. It had three heads and they all looked identical to it’s center head, bearing a crown of curved horns. The monster’s three necks were covered in giant spikes like normal dragons. The most disturbing aspect of the dragon was its eyes. The beast stared at me with three pairs of malicious crimson eyes that hungered for blood. Right as the dragon ate me, the nightmare ended.” Twilight explained.
“That is peculiar...... Was last night’s nightmare the last thou saw of this dragon?” Luna asked.
“No. Just today I received a vision of the very same dragon. It lunged right at me, like it was trying to kill me... There was nothing else but darkness.” Twilight replied. Celestia’s eyes widened to the size of alien saucers.
“If this dragon keeps appearing consecutively in your dreams in a similar fashion to an omen, then that means.... Oh sweet Faust...” Celestia gasped. “Appaloosa, and by extension, the rest of Equestria is in far greater danger than I previously imagined...!!!”
“Wait, what? What does Appaloosa have to do with the nightmare and the vision?”
“Come with me, quickly.”
Celestia suddenly rushed towards the back of the room and disappeared into a pair of golden doors, driving Twilight and Spike to follow.
“Celestia, wait!” Twilight exclaimed.

Deep below the depths of the enormous Equus seas, a slumbering titan laid on the hard, volcanic seafloor. Even the piercing pitch-black darkness of the trenches couldn’t hide the towering saurian from the peering eyes of deep-sea creatures swimming by. The enticing smell of fish reached the beast’s nostrils, stirring the reptile from his sleep. Opening his medium-sized golden eyes, his black circular pupils shrunk in size as they followed the fleeing schools of trout swimming by the reptile. It wasn’t the fish that actually woke Godzilla from slumber. It was something else. He could feel his dorsal spines tingling with a oddly strange sensation, as if he could somehow sense impending danger looming towards his territory. Godzilla snarled as he pushed himself off the ocean floor, swaying his tail in a sideways motion. Godzilla felt the pressure of the ocean’s currents pushing against him as he swam towards the surface. Luckily for Godzilla, he was far too large to even be remotely affected by the current and simply ignored the feeble pressure. After a while, Godzilla finally breached out of the ocean’s surface. Godzilla towered over the rising waves, slitting the them in half with his dorsal spines. Something clearly felt wrong, yet Godzilla couldn’t place a claw on the strange feeling. The reptilian kaiju turned his gaze skyward, immediately noticing the now much closer meteor that was quickly entering the atmosphere. The flaming bundle the sky while leaving a bright orange trail behind.
There. That flying thing. That must be the problem.
Godzilla snarled as he trekked down the direction the meteor was heading, hoping to catch up to it before it could make landfall.
Onix walked through the doors of a enormous laboratory, stepping on a huge elevated platform that had raised itself higher. Hundreds of engineers, mechanics, and scientists were busy working on several large computers and testing newly built equipment. Myriads of armed soldiers guarded every entrance to the laboratory. Several more were walking around while watching the mechanics and scientists work. Onix stood watch over his workforce, taking notice of a dull grey red-maned stallion wearing a lieutenant’s uniform apporaching him.
“Leader.” The stallion addressed, performing a polite bow. “You’ve finally returned from prison.”
“Ahh, Maverick. It’s nice to lay my good eye on you after two years rotting in a putrid jail cell. How have things being going since my absence?”
“We’ve been in quite a disarray. Firstly, we went into hiding after Princess Celestia declared our program “dead”. We have been producing masses of new technology and hiring more soldiers for your army, though. But that’s not the best part. For the two years you’ve been gone, we’ve developed a brand-new weapon. I think you’d like it.”
Maverick led Onix down the hall, opening a pair of shiny steel grade doors. Behind the doors was a missions control center that looked to be even larger than the laboratory. And standing in the center of the room was a colossal mech that roughly matched the height of a mountain. It’s outer plating was a medium grey in color, though a intricate pattern of red and yellow had been adhered to the mech’s body to give it a visual flair. Blue bioluminescent lights lined down the mech’s back, curving towards its long tail. Three rows of huge, glowing jagged pylons covered the mech’s back, heavily resembling Godzilla’s dorsal spines. The mech’s overall design bore a striking resemblance to Godzilla, sporting a saurian appearance much like his counterpart. Two massive laser cannons were perched on the mech’s shoulders while two additional gattling guns were latched to the mech’s clawed hands. Onix smiled in excitement as he stared at the massive mech in awe.
“Say hello to Kiryu.” Maverick said.
“It’s beautiful, Maverick!” Onix exclaimed.
“Consider it a “Welcome Home” gift.” Maverick replied. He handed a set of keys to Onix, a smug grin on his face.
“It’s all set to go, sir.” Maverick said. Onix giddily ran over to the launch pad, climbing up the ladder that led to the mech’s head. Pressing a button on the keypad in his hoof, Kiryu’s face retracted itself and opened up to reveal a pilot’s cockpit. Onix hopped inside the black leather seat, watching Kiryu’s face re-form and close. The cockpit’s lights flashed on and a holographic dashboard popped up in front of Onix’s face, giving the general a bit of a surprise.
“The technology in this thing is outstanding! I should promote you for such a amazing job!” Onix said through the comm-unit.
“You can promote me later, leader. Don’t worry about getting comfortable, we already calibrated everything and the cockpit is set with all of your accomodations. You may launch when ready.” Maverick said. The roof of the base split in half, letting the bright sunlight shine through. Onix activated the ignition chamber, watching Kiryu hum to life. The two optic lens on Kiryu’s face flashed online with crimson light. The platform Kiryu was standing on whirred with life as it elevated the kaiju-sized mech into the outside world. With Kiryu online and ready to go, Onix grabbed hold of the two levers in the cockpit and pushed them forwards. A pair of jet thrusters that were previously hidden inside both sides of Kiryu’s upper back activated and let loose a massive stream of blue flame, propelling Kiryu into the sky.
“Alright, Celestia. I’m coming for you.” Onix seethed, directing Kiryu towards the direction of Canterlot. With a roar of the thrusters, Kiryu sped off towards Canterlot at mach 7 speeds.
“I never showed you this section of the castle in all the days you’ve been my student, Twilight. But it appears you are ready to know the truth. Quickly, now.” Celestia said, descending down a flight of steps. The two alicorns reached what appeared to be a catacomb of sorts. The walls were encased in dampened rocks containing pieces of crystalline material, while the floor was made up of marble. Celestia stopped trotting and turned to face a worn-out slab of stone embedded in the wall. Twilight followed the Sun Diarch’s gaze. She laid eyes on several cave paintings of the same dragon she saw in her dreams. The dragon in question was depicted destroying countless civilizations and laying waste to Equestria. There was another painting depicting what looked like two alicorns fighting off the dragon with their magic.
“Celestia, what... what is this?” Twilight asked.
“The dragon that appeared in your dreams is a powerful extraterrestrial Titan our biologists designated as Titanus Ghidrah. However, the ancients gave the creature a different name. A name so frightening, no one even dared to mention it. The creature was named Ghidorah. We don’t know much about his kind, but what we do know is that Ghidorah is a member of a powerful hyper-aggressive invasive superspecies that invades inhabited planets and wipes out the dominant lifeforms and recreating the planet to their liking. Thousands of years ago, Ghidorah crash landed in Equus, travelling around the world until he reached Equestria. He decided to make a roost there and began the process of recreating the world to suit his needs. He destroyed hundreds of villages, decimated entire civilizations, and slaughtered thousands upon thousands of innocent ponies. All seemed lost until Queen Diurna and Queen Nocta, the current rulers at the time, stepped in and valiantly battled against the great beast. The ensuing fight was not only brutal, but it proved to be deadly when Queen Nocta was tragically killed during the fight. Overcome with grief and rage, Queen Diurna summoned all of her power to encase Ghidorah in a prison composed of rock and banished him to the farthest regions of outer space.” Celestia explained.
“So the meteor is really his prison?” Twilight asked.
“Yes. However, that very meteor is heading straight for Appaloosa. I already sent a message to the mayor to evacuate the town. With any luck, all the ponies should have reached a safe haven by now.” Celestia said. As the two Alicorns headed towards the upper floors of the castle, the catacombs suddenly began to tremble. The muffled sound of explosions quickly grabbed the two Alicorn’s attention.
“What is going on up there?!” Twilight exclaimed.
“Canterlot’s being attacked! We need to get outside now!” Celestia replied. Without a moment to delay, Celestia and Twilight quickly ran out of the catacombs.
***
Twilight and Celestia ran out towards the street, gasping in horror as the majority of Canterlot was reduced to smoking debris. As the duo frantically began searching for survivors, a piercing metallic roar caught their attention. Turning their bodies around, the two alicorns spotted the towering form of Kiryu decimating a nearby block with a single swipe of its huge tail. Kiryu opened its jaws, revealing rows of razor-sharp titanium teeth. Seconds later, the metal titan fired a massive crimson laser beam on the city, obliterating three more blocks. Twilight could only gasp in horror as Kiryu kept unleashing his wrath on Celestia’s city.
“Am I crazy, or does that mechanical beast looks like....”
“Godzilla, yes. But what in Faust’s name is such a beast doing here?!”
Kiryu turned around, resting its crimson optics on Twilight and Celestia. The two alicorns backed up anxiously, watching the mechanical monster approach them with an angry step in its gait.
“Well, well, well, look who decided to step off her comfy little throne and take a breath of fresh air!” Onix exclaimed through Kiryu’s built-in megaphone.
“Onix Star?! You were supposed to be serving a six-year sentence in prison!” Celestia yelled.
“Wait, what? Oh, oops! Was I supposed to wait another four years to get my revenge? Oh, darn it, I messed up! How silly of me! You know what, where are my manners? I’m supposed to bow down, aren’t I?” Onix mocked. Onix bent his upper body down while holding his hoof before his chest in a mock bow, which Kiryu imitated.
“My humblest of apologies, your dictatorship. I simply couldn’t wait any longer to see your face once more.” Onix said, uttering a short laugh.
“Get out of the mech and face me, Onix!!”
“As you wish.”
Kiryu bent down, smashing a clawed fist in the pavement just inches away from Twilight. Lowering its head, Kiryu’s face opened up and unfolded a ladder to allow Onix to descend towards the floor. At that moment, the rest of the Main 6 approached the trio, gasping in shock at the sight of Onix.
“Hey, it’s that jerkface with the exploding rocket things!” Pinkie exclaimed.
“Hello, girls. It’s lovely seeing you all again.” Onix said, his voice dripping with venom. He turned to Fluttershy, who was hiding behind Applejack while grimacing at the red stallion.
“Hello again, little miss. Hey, where’s your pet lizard? Oh, that’s right! He’s DEAD! HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Onix laughed, a wide grin on his face. Fluttershy’s face hardened at the remark, grinding her teeth in anger.
“Don’t be upset. That worthless sack of scales is better off lying around in the trenches, rotting away while eels pick at his remains.” Onix continued.
“You take that back!” Fluttershy yelled. Onix simply laughed at the pegasus’ feeble threat.
“And what are you gonna do? Sic a rabbit on me? HA!” Onix teased.
“THAT’S IT! NOBODY INSULTS MY FRIEND LIKE THAT!” Rainbow yelled, charging straight at Onix. Applejack grabbed the cyan pegasus by her tail and held her down.
“LET ME GO! THIS GUY NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON!” Rainbow yelled.
“Can it, Dash! Sit yer blue hiney down and don’t start pickin’ a fight you can’t win!” Applejack stated firmly. Onix began backing up towards Kiryu’s cockpit, uttering a sinister laugh as he sat back down in his seat. Upon re-entry, Kiryu’s face closed itself up.
“Okay, that’s a seriously cool robot.” Rainbow stated. Kiryu stood back up, recharging its weapons systems.
“Why, thank you. Unfortunately for all of you, flattery won’t save your lives. Princess Celestia, I thank you in advance for the wonderful ten thousand-year reign. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to order pretty flowers for your funeral.” Onix stated, charging up Kiryu’s maser cannon. Celestia ignited her horn in a golden aura and took to the skies, firing volleys of magical projectiles at Kiryu. Kiryu was forced to back up, using its arms to block the projectiles from striking its faceplate. Onix growled in frustration as he flipped several switches to boost Kiryu’s power.
“Do you seriously think that a little magic’s gonna be enough to...”
Celestia let out a deafening war cry as she threw her head back and flung it forward, firing a massive beam of magic directly into Kiryu’s chest plate and sending the mech flying into the ground.
“HA!” Rainbow shouted.
“Holy Faust, I did not see that coming....” Onix mumbled as he managed to right himself back on the seat.
“Onix Star, I order you to stand down NOW!” Celestia angrily demanded, standing in front of the downed mech’s faceplate.
“Of course, I’ll stand down.... WHEN YOU’RE DEAD!” Onix shouted. Kiryu lifted its head and opened its jaws, firing a maser blast at Celestia. The Sun Diarch immediately formed a shield around her, but that wasn’t enough to keep her from being violently shoved backwards. Celestia grunted as she used all of her strength to keep her shield from shattering under the power of the maser cannon. Kiryu approached Celestia, raising its metal fist to strike the Alicorn down. Before the mech could crush Celestia, its fist was suddenly encased in a raspberry aura.
“The hell? Why can’t I move the arm?!” Onix demanded, turning his attention to the airborne Twilight holding Kiryu’s arm back with her magic.
“Oh, so you want a piece of the action too?” Onix snarled. Kiryu’s right arm converted into an automated plasma cannon, aiming the weapon at Twilight.
“Sayonara, princess.” Onix said with a smug grin.
“Oh, I’m not done just yet.” Twilight said, controlling Kiryu’s left arm with her magic. With a grin of her own, Twilight forced Kiryu’s left arm to start repeatedly punching Kiryu in the faceplate.
“AGH, HEY! KNOCK THAT OFF!” Onix yelled. Celestia swooped in on Kiryu, grabbing the mech’s weaponized arm with her magic. With a sharp jerk, Celestia managed to tear the arm right out of its socket.
“NOOO! DO YOU KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE THIS MECH WAS?! DAMMIT!!’ Onix angrily screamed. Twilight and Celestia charged their horns to full power, both firing a combined super-charged magical beam at Kiryu. Kiryu was sent flying into the ground for the second time, letting out a metallic shriek. The massive mech stood back up on its feet, with Onix now beaming with anger.
“Why you son of a....” Onix’s sentence was cut off when he suddenly turned his gaze skywards, noticing a fiery orange light careening into Equestria.
"What in the hell is that...?" Onix asked himself. Everypony looked up to see the ball of fiery light getting closer and closer by the second.
"Oh, Faust, no...! It's too early...!" Celestia gasped. The object in question was, in fact, a massive meteor hurdling towards Appaloosa at great speeds.
"That's odd, the next meteor shower's not scheduled until another three months-" Onix stated before another golden beam of magic struck Kiryu in the face and sent the mech sprawling into the ground.
"AAAAGHH, NOT AGAIN!" Onix yelped. Celestia urged the Main Six to move with a nudge from her snout before charging towards the train station.
"We need to move NOW!" Celestia exclaimed. The rainbow-maned Alicorn spotted two of her soldiers rushing towards the group at great speed.
"Your majesty! The meteor, it's..."
"I know. Gather three squadrons and meet me in Appaloosa and hurry!" Celestia ordered, receiving a salute from her soldiers before they took off. Without further delay, Celestia and the Main Six rushed to the train station and jumped on one of the accessible cabs.
"To Appaloosa, please! Hurry!" Celestia spoke to the conductor in an almost panicked tone.
"Right away, princess." The conductor replied, immediately igniting the train's engine. The massive locomotive trudged off at great speeds as it raced towards the desert region of Appaloosa.
"DAMN THAT PRINCESS!!!" Onix yelled while still struggling to get Kiryu back on its feet. Onix grabbed the radio as he activated it.
"Maverick, Kiryu needs repairs and I need pickup. And send a squadron to Appaloosa..."
The meteor was flying right on top of the train, looking like it was about to fall right on top of it. Like a blazing rocket, the meteor flew by the train, narrowly dodging the rocky spires that outlined Appaloosa's dusty landscape.
"That fiery rock's gonna hit the center of Appaloosa!" Pinkie exclaimed.
"Is there any way to stop that space rock from crashing?" Applejack asked.
"I don't think there is a way to stop it!" Twilight replied. Like a bomb striking a military bunker, the massive meteor smashed into the ground, triggering a massive explosion that consumed everything in its radius. Celestia's horn glowed with a golden aura before she teleported herself, the Main Six, and the conductor away from the train right before the locomotive was obliterated by the blast. Everypony wheezed and gasped in exasperation from the sudden teleportation before turning towards the enormous smoking crater where the meteor hit.
"That must have been a pretty big meteor...." Rainbow said, overlooking the crater. Smoke billowed from the center of the cater, shielding whatever was inside from everypony's sight. At that moment, two squadrons of Celestia's soldiers arrived at the scene, clad in full armor and wielding spears and other weapons.
"We came as soon as we could, your highness." Said one of the squad commanders.
"Thank Faust. Now, we just need to...."
The sound of rapidly spinning rotor blades turned everypony's attention to a large metal airborne vehicle landing just a couple of feet from the crater. After a few moments, Onix jumped out from the cockpit with a rather displeased look on his face.
"You surprised me, Celestia. Who would've thought you of all ponies would pull a dirty trick like that? Heheheh." Onix stated in an amused tone before approaching the group with his horn ignited and ready to fire. Celestia gave the stallion a hard glare before turning towards him.
"Onix, listen to me, we don't have time for your absurd quest for vengeance. You need to leave now before..."
"Before what? Your little soldiers subdue me and take me in like last time? Whatever you have to say to me, just don't. I ain't gonna...."
A deep growl emulating from inside the crater was enough to freeze everypony in their tracks. Turning to the massive hole in the ground, everypony peered into it.
"What was that...? Rainbow asked. Another series of growls escaped the crater before an enormous golden tail tipped with huge razor-sharp spines unfurled itself as it rose over the crater.
"No, dear Faust… Everypony, get back!" Celestia ordered, watching in terror as the Titan inside the crater began waking up. Following its tail, a huge draconic head sporting a crown of long curved horns attached to a long serpentine neck rose out of the crater, letting out a guttural snarl. A second head rose up right after its twin and began inspecting its surroundings. And then, finally, a third head appeared. The center head sported longer and more curved horns on its head than its two “siblings”, along with a huge scar running down its right eye. The center head snarled as it bared its huge razor-sharp teeth, scanning the environment with its blood-red eyes before locking its sights on the tiny multi-colored equines below. Twilight's pupils shrank as she backed up, feeling a wave of panic and fear well up in her chest. The center head snarled as it focused its sight on Celestia, a glimmer of recognition in its eyes. Whether it thought it was looking at Queen Diurna or her descendant didn't really matter to the beast as the center head began to snarl angrily while flaring its horns in a threatening manner. Celestia looked in the golden Titan's eyes, seeing nothing but hatred in them. The center head snarled before grabbing the attention of the two peripheral heads, looking back down on Celestia and barring its huge razor sharp teeth at her. With a shrill cackle, the three-headed dragon-like Titan climbed out of the crater with haste. The Titan unfurled its massive wings as it stood upright on two lean but sturdy legs ending in digitigrade avian-like clawed feet. Celestia and the other ponies backed up as they glanced at the six hundred forty-five foot tall Titan standing before them.
"G-G-Ghidorah..." Twilight stammered.
"My goodness, just look at the sheer size of that monstrosity...!" Rarity gasped, hiding behind Rainbow.
"You kidding me? That thing's nothing but a big three-headed noodle. He doesn't look so tough at all. I can totally take him on!" Rainbow exclaimed with a rather misplaced boost of confidence.
"Then why don't ya go on and fight that monster yourself?" Applejack retorted in an annoyed tone. Almost immediately, Rainbow lowered herself to the ground while nervously rubbing the back of her head.
"Uh, well... I think we should let Celestia's soldiers fight it. I, um, don't wanna steal their thunder and all...." Rainbow nervously said with a sheepish smile.
"Uh huh, sure." Applejack replied. Onix kept dumbfoundedly gawking at the enormous golden Titan looming over everypony, feeling several drops of sweat running down his forehead.
"This thing is huge... No matter, I'll kill it anyway! OPEN FIRE!" Onix commanded.
"ONIX, NO!" Twilight screamed. However her voice fell on deaf ears as the unicorn soldiers under Onix's command ignited their horns as they fired multitudes of magical projectiles at Ghidorah. The three-headed Titan merely growled in annoyance as the projectiles bounced off his scaly hide, the stinging magic bullets barely even putting a dent in his rough scales. Ghidorah's left head grabbed one of the soldiers in its jaws and began swinging him around in an almost playful manner, much to the soldier's absolute terror. Ghidorah's center head grabbed onto his childish twin by the horns and yanked it around, forcing it to drop the unicorn. The center head angrily screeched at the left head in a manner much like a pony scolding his younger sibling. Ghidorah snarled, motioning to his two peripheral heads before glaring at the tiny ponies. Their throats began to glow with an intense golden light that travelled up towards the heads' jaws. Celestia took notice of this and unfurled her wings and placed a shield around herself and the Main Six.
"GET BACK!" Celestia yelled to everyone else.
Unfortunately, it was too late.
With a loud shriek, Ghidorah fired three huge golden super-charged beams of lightning at the soldiers, tearing the ground apart with the gravity beams while completely vaporizing several very unlucky soldiers that couldn't move out of the way. Ghidorah kept bombarding the soldiers with his gravity beams until he was interrupted by several annoying bullets fired at his right head's face.
"Take that you stupid flying gecko!" A unicorn soldier outfitted with a jetpack yelled as he kept firing more magic projectiles at Ghidorah. Ghidorah growled in annoyance, his right head opening its jaws and vaporizing the soldier with a single gravity beam.
"I refuse to just stand by and watch as ponies are being slaughtered!" Celestia exclaimed before dispelling her shield and taking to the skies. With a war cry, Celestia began bombarding Ghidorah with a relentless assault of golden magical projectiles. Ghidorah shrieked at the white Alicorn in annoyance, directing his wrath at Celestia. Celestia yelped as she quickly dodged the three gravity beams, only to be smacked out of the air by Ghidorah's right wing.
"CELESTIA!" Twilight exclaimed, using her magic to levitate the princess in the air before she could hit the ground and then set her down. Celestia groaned in pain as she sat up and tried catching her breath.
"Thank you, Twilight..." Celestia said. Ghidorah's terrible screech turned everypony's attention back to the golden Titan, who was now making a beeline towards the Main Six and Celestia.
"It's coming towards us!" Fluttershy yelped, hiding behind Celestia. Ghidorah screeched loudly as he charged towards the group, murder in his eyes. He was dead set on enacting vengeance on Celestia for spending the last several thousand years locked away in a meteor. Right before the golden Titan could kill the group with another set of gravity beams, the ground below him exploded in a large cloud of dust and chunks of rock as three very familiar sets of huge jagged maple leaf-shaped dorsal spines shot up out of the ground and threw a hilariously baffled Ghidorah off his feet before the rest of the creature climbed out of the hole he made. Letting out a deep guttural growl, Godzilla shook off stray chunks of rock from his back before taking a quick downward glance at Celestia and the Main Six. Fluttershy herself quietly smiled in joy as she looked upon the towering reptile standing before them.
"That's some mighty fine timin' there, big fella!" Applejack hollered while tipping her hat. Upon close inspection, the farm pony noticed Godzilla's significant increase in size and muscular build.
"Did Ah say big, or HUGE? Cuz I don't remember Godzilla bein' this big." Applejack stated.
"Is it me, or has Godzilla been hitting the gym for the past two years?" Rainbow said, gawking at the saurian in awe.
“This is just incredible. Godzilla's constantly growing in size and mass, and this won't stop until the day he dies. And his dorsal spines grew back and took on a more prominent shape, perhaps to be able to store more nuclear energy in his body.” Twilight stated with scientific interest more than anything. While everyone was still gawking at the newcomer, Onix got back on his feet from narrowly dodging one of Ghidorah's gravity beams, turning his attention towards the atomic saurian.
"That damn lizard's still alive?! Hot damn, he's so much bigger than last time...!" Onix exclaimed in disbelief. Godzilla took notice of Onix, locking his gaze on the rusty red stallion with an icy glare. Onix suddenly felt even more sweat run down his head. There was an undeniable fact that Godzilla had immediately recognized the former sergeant. Godzilla snarled as he bared his teeth, narrowing his eyes. Oh, he definitely recognized Onix all right. Godzilla would’ve stomped on Onix as payback for what happened last time they met, but there was bigger fish to fry. Instead of obliterating Onix, the saurian closed his maw and snorted, turning his back towards the stallion. Godzilla growled as he faced Ghidorah, who had snapped out of his confused stupor and stood back up. With a bone-chilling hiss, Ghidorah stood at his full height, unfolding his wings to their full length in an attempt to look twice as large as Godzilla while simultaneously rattling the spines at the end of his twin tails. Godzilla, in turn, snarled as his dorsal spines began flashing with neon blue light in a similar threat display. Both Titans began sizing each other up for the inevitable fight waiting to break out. With a deep growl, Godzilla made the first move and immediately charged Ghidorah.
“SKREEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGGK!!!” Godzilla roared as he raced towards Ghidorah.
“SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGHHHH!!!” Ghidorah screeched as he rushed at the saurian in a similar fashion. Both Titans collided into each other with so much force, their impact generated a small shockwave that knocked spires off their roots and sent everypony sprawling into the ground.
"Ack! So much... power!" Twilight exclaimed.
"SKREEEEOOONNNGGGK!" Godzilla roared angrily as he punched Ghidorah's right head away before grabbing hold of his center head. Ghidorah's right and left head clamped their jaws on Godzilla's left arm and neck, trying to rip the saurian's grip away from the center head. Godzilla snarled with pain and fury, clamping his jaws on the center head's neck and sinking his teeth into it. The center head shrieked in pain as Godzilla began thrashing Ghidorah around. Ripping the two peripheral heads off his body and grabbing all three heads, Godzilla dragged Ghidorah around before slamming him into a stone pillar and shattering it to pieces. Onix was very unfortunate to be standing so close by, and screamed as he tried to run out of the way.
“OH SH-” Onix yelped, only to be cut off when a chunk of rock hit his head and knocked him unconscious. Ghidorah screeched, flapping his wings and sending a powerful gust of wind that shoved Godzilla back before the three-headed Titan shot up and lunged at Godzilla, latching all three jaws on his neck and shoulders again. Ghidorah shoved Godzilla back, much to the latter’s dismay and frustration. Godzilla kept wildly clawing at one of Ghidorah’s necks as he tried to force him to let go. The atomic saurian snarled, slamming his feet on the ground and digging trenches in the rock in an attempt to anchor himself to the ground. Ghidorah’s throats began igniting with golden light once more and before Godzilla knew it, he was blasted at point-blank range by three supercharged beams of lightning. Godzilla roared in pain as he was sent sprawling into the ground, sending rocks and dust flying with the impact.
“SKREEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!” Ghidorah shrieked, charging up his gravity beams once more. Godzilla noticed a huge chunk of rock in reach and snarled, grabbing it before throwing the rock at Ghidorah’s center head. Right before Ghidorah could fire another volley of gravity beams, the rock smashed into his center head, knocking it to the side and causing it to accidentally fire a gravity beam at its right head. Ghidorah’s right head screeched in pain before snapping at the center head angrily. The two heads were so busy fighting each other (and ignoring the left head’s alarmed screech) that they didn’t notice Godzilla charging at the Titan. Godzilla rammed into Ghidorah’s gut, knocking the wind out of the hydra’s jaws before clamping his jaws on Ghidorah’s center head again. Ghidorah unfurled his massive wings as he took to the air with Godzilla still holding on. However, due to Godzilla's added weight, Ghidorah found himself unable to fly far while Godzilla held on to his center head for dear life. Godzilla snarled, pouring out all of his strength as he slammed Ghidorah into the ground with great force. Ghidorah got up, screeching angrily as golden lightning licked the corners of his jaws.
“SKREEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!” Ghidorah screeched with pure animalistic rage. Godzilla roared back at the hydra with equal fury, igniting his dorsal spines in response to Ghidorah's threat display. With a snarl, Godzilla opened his jaws and fired an intense streamlined beam of nuclear fire at the three-headed Titan. Ghidorah screeched as his heads swerved in different directions while dodging the deadly nuclear heat ray, retaliating by firing a volley of fully-powered gravity beams out of all three heads right at Godzilla. Godzilla screeched painfully as he was shoved back by the full force of the gravity beams, screeching in surprise as he fell into the crater and disappeared from sight, much to Celestia's and the Main Six's dismay.
"NO!!" Fluttershy cried out. She immediately ran towards the crater at full speed, only to be abruptly stopped when Ghidorah slammed a foot on the ground and blocked the pegasus' path.
"AAAHH!!!" Fluttershy shrieked while backing up. Ghidorah snarled as his center head bared its teeth at the cream-colored mare, opening its jaws to devour the pegasus whole.
"FLUTTERSHY!!!" Twilight screamed. Before Ghidorah could even attempt to eat Fluttershy, the golden Titan suddenly spun his heads around, shrieking in shock as he witnessed Godzilla climbing out of the crater.
"SKREEEEEEEEEOOOONNNNNGGGK!!!" Godzilla roared with fury, charging at the draconic Titan. Ghidorah screeched as he unfurled his wings and jumped in the air, taking to the skies. However, Godzilla managed to clamp his jaws on one of the Titan's tails and began pulling the Titan back towards the ground.
"SKREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRRRRHHHHHH!!!!" Ghidorah shrieked, slashing at Godzilla's face with his talons. Godzilla shrieked in pain as Ghidorah's talons carved into the saurian's forehead, leaving behind a bloody gash. Godzilla was forced to release Ghidorah from his grip, grunting with pain as he fervently shook his head. Ghidorah screeched loudly before rising high into the sky and finally disappearing into the clouds. Celestia stared at the sky with fear on her face, letting out a heavy sigh.
"Dear Faust… He’s free...." Celestia softly spoke with a shaky tone in her voice, standing up to face the small group standing before her.
"We cannot allow Ghidorah to reach any populated area at all costs. Follow me, we have to use the flying machine Onix travelled on." Celestia said. As the Main Six hopped on board, Celestia noticed an unconscious Onix lying on the ground several feet away from them. Celestia immediately rushed to the stallion's side, using her magic to levitate Onix to the flying vehicle before boarding the transport herself. Godzilla rushed back to the hole from which he emerged, hellbent on pursuing Ghidorah.
"Uuuugh... Wh.. Where am I?" Onix groaned, finally coming to after being in a comatose-like state for nearly five hours. Onix sat up from the bed he was laying on, wincing in pain as he rubbed his head.
"Ow, my damn head...."
"Oh, you're awake!"
"YIPE!"
Onix nearly fell off the bed in shock, regaining his balance before taking notice of the lavender Alicorn standing underneath the doorway that led to the medical station.
"Faust dammit, lady! At least warn me next time!" Onix yelled in frustration.
"My apologies, Onix Star. I didn't mean to startle you. Look, you are hurt pretty bad and you have a concussion. I know you might be confused right now, but please stay calm and try not to move too much." Twilight said. Onix simply grumbled and laid back down on the bed, letting out a long and heavy sigh.
"So, who decided to be the bigger pony and save my life? Was it you?" Onix asked.
"Uh, no. It was Celestia who rescued you." Twilight replied, earning an exasperated groan from the former sergeant.
"Of course she did. Never fails." Onix retorted. A few moments later, Onix's eyes widened as he quickly sat up after coming to a sudden realization.
"Who's flying the ship...?" Onix asked.
"Uhhh..." Twilight mumbled. As if it was right on cue, the ship made a sharp turn that threw a startled Onix out of the bed and into a nearby wall.
"OWWW!!!" Onix yelped. Twilight rushed to Onix's side and helped the stallion up. Twilight led Onix to the control room, much to his annoyance. Rainbow turned out to be the culprit manning the cockpit and she was more than thrilled to be piloting the ship.
"Hahahaha! This is so AWESOME! Flying an airship is so much fun!" Rainbow excitedly exclaimed, executing a barrel roll. Everypony (except Pinkie) present in the ship screamed as they were thrown out of their seats and began aimlessly spinning in mid-air.
"WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE! THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!" Pinkie exclaimed happily.
"RAINBOW, STOP EXECUTING THESE RECKLESS STUNTS AT ONCE, YOU'RE RUINING MY MANE!!!" Rarity screeched. Applejack had been holding on to one of the railings for dear life, yelping in shock as her hat flew off her head and through an open window.
"MAH HAT!" Applejack yelled in dismay. After a few minutes of monkeying around with the controls, Rainbow finally flipped the ship back on its correct side.
"Ah, don't be a bunch of grouches. That was totally fun!" Rainbow said with a chuckle. Everypony just glared at the cyan pegasus as they brushed themselves off.
"Stop eating shit with the controls and fly the ship properly! This transport costs a lot more money than every strand of hair on your mane!" Onix reprimanded angrily before sitting down on one of the seats. Celestia sat down on a metal bench across from Onix, looking at the stallion in the eye.
"I see you're finally awake. You weren't responsive for five hours and I feared you had perished." Celestia said, earning a forced laugh from the stallion.
"HA…. HAHAHAHA! Wow, that’s rich! You saved my life out of pity for little old me! I’m touched. Here’s a tip: You should stop being so nice to your enemies. It was a nice gesture, I’ll give you that. But your little rescue won’t change anything. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to..."
A slow and continuous series of beeps emanating from a large rectangular-shaped terminal caught everypony's attention and turned their sights to a screen displaying the world map of Equestria.
"Um, what is that beeping noise?" Fluttershy asked.
"That would be the online heat-seeking tracking system. Let me guess, you plan to track down these monsters?" Onix replied, taking a look at the screen. He scrunched up his face in disgust upon looking at the beacon shaped like a golden dragon.
"Hold on a moment, are you guys seriously planning on following the giant three-headed snake wherever he goes?" Onix asked.
"Of course we are. We have to make sure Ghidorah doesn't attack any populated cities or towns." Celestia replied. Onix just scoffed at the alicorn's answer.
"Oh yeah, that's real smart. Let's all go and follow the six hundred foot beast that completely annihilated both of our squadrons, almost killed us, and even kicked your pet lizard’s ass. Good thinking, princess. At least I know who’s the real brains of your family." Onix sarcastically retorted.
"Hey, you don't have the right to talk to Celestia like that!" Rainbow exclaimed from the cockpit.
"Really? Oh, are we not allowed to talk freely to anyone in the presence of royalty? I'm so very sorry for openly voicing my concerns to this lazy, cake-guzzling, pathetic excuse of a princess who can't even come up with a decent plan of action!" Onix exclaimed. Now the rest of the Main Six had grown tired of the stallion's insults.
"Now you listen here, ya bad-mouthed varmint! Ain't nobody gonna insult th' princess like that! You need t' shut yer trap this instant or Ah'm gonna-"
"You're gonna do what? Hm? Hogtie me? Kick me in the face? Throw me overboard? Please, I really want you to tell me the most intricate and terrifying threat you can muster. Don’t forget to add the obscure farm-related analogies.” Onix snapped, getting right in Applejack’s face.
“That’s enough! We can’t accomplish anything by quarreling amongst each other! I appreciate the backup but I can handle myself.” Celestia stated loudly.
“Says the alicorn that got bitch-slapped by a three-headed dragon.” Onix muffled under his breath, earning a hard glare from Celestia.
“Hey, everyone! Ghidorah’s beacon just dropped off the radar and got replaced by this swirly thing!” Pinkie said. On the far right of the screen, everypony noticed a spiraling shape that indicated a storm of sorts.
“What’s that symbol on the screen?” Rarity asked.
"Looks like there's a thunderstorm brewing right where Ghidorah’s signal dropped. And.... Wait a minute..." Onix stated, suddenly gluing his eyes to the screen.
"What's wrong?" Twilight asked.
"The tracker's detecting a very strong heat signature. In fact it's..."
All of a sudden, the ship was violently thrown around in the air, as if something was thrashing it like a broken ragdoll.
"...… RIGHT ON TOP OF US!!" Onix screamed. Everypony screamed in terror as they frantically grabbed hold of anything sturdy in the ship.
"EVERYONE, HANG ON TIGHT!" Celestia yelled. The ship continued to wildly spin out of control, much to everyone's terror.
"THIS TRIP IS NOT FUN ANYMORE! STOP THE ROLLERCOASTER, I WANNA GET OFF!!!" Rainbow screamed in panic. To everyone's greater horror, four massive charcoal-grey claws suddenly stabbed into the roof of the ship, ripping out chunks of metal and wood from the transport.
"OH MY FAUST!!!!" Twilight and Fluttershy screamed. A loud, shrill, bone-chilling roar shook the entire ship to its core and sent a wave of alarm through everypony.
"What in tarnation?!" Applejack yelled.
"We're being attacked by a Titan!" Twilight exclaimed.
"Ooh, let's bake that hungry Titan a "Please Don't Eat Us" cake and give it to him! Maybe we should throw it a "Leave Us Alone" party too!" Pinkie exclaimed.
"PINKIE!!!!!!!" Everypony screamed. The mysterious creature finally released its grip on the ship, sending the vehicle sprawling towards a nearby island.
"BRACE YOURSELVES, THIS IS GONNA BE A REALLY BAD LANDING!!!!!" Onix screamed. As everypony braced themselves for the impact, the heavily damaged ship smashed straight into the heart of the island and threw clouds of dust and rock everywhere.
"Is everyone okay?" Twilight asked as she pulled Rarity out from the wreckage with her magic. Despite the severity of the crash, it was a miracle that no one got seriously injured.
"Yeah, we're good." Rainbow said, rubbing her head.
"I've seen worse crash-landings...." Onix said, still shaking dust from his mane. Celestia looked around at her surroundings, letting out a soft sigh as she gazed upon the plethora of trees dotting the landscape.
"Well, I suppose we could have crashed on a more unpleasant area." Celestia remarked.
"What was that?!" Rarity yelped in surprise. Everypony turned their sights skywards as a massive shadow loomed over them. The culprit whom took down the airship was a enormous bat-like Titan. In general appearance, the Titan looked like a combination of a bat and a dragon. It was a rusty-red color with a mahogany underbelly. The creature sported a fleshy wattle hanging from its throat that resembled a uvula. The bat-like Titan hissed as it landed on the wrecked vehicle, scanning the area with its lime-green eyes before stopping to gaze at the tiny ponies below it.
"You got a catchy name for the big ass bat?" Onix asked, backing up.
"I have been doing research on Titans for the last two years. This Titan resides near these island regions. The locals native to these islands dubbed it Bagorah, the Voracious Demon." Celestia replied in a barely audible whisper.
"Gee, that's real freaking comforting." Onix retorted. With a screech, Bagorah unfurled his wings in a threat display, letting out a furious hiss while expanding the size of his wattle to twice its original size.
"That thing looks pretty mad. I think we should get out of here...!" Rainbow said. Bagorah screeched as he dived towards the now running ponies, taking a swipe at the Main Six. Twilight shrieked as she narrowly dodged the massive talons aimed for her. Bagorah screeched in frustration, banking to the right as he targeted a very unlucky Rarity that tripped over a buried root.
"AHH! MY HOOF!" Rarity cried. Right as the white unicorn stood up, she was met with massive talons closing in on her.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" Rarity screamed as Bagorah grabbed the unicorn and took off with her.
"RARITY!!" Twilight cried, taking off into the sky after the giant bat Titan. Rarity began smacking her hoofs on Bagorah's foot in a feeble attempt to force him to release his grip on her.
"UNHAND ME YOU VILE, BARBARIC BEAST!!! I AM NOT SOME CHEW TOY TO BE PLAYED WITH!" Rarity screamed. Twilight flew right in front of Bagorah, firing a volley of magical projectiles at the Titan's face.
"LET HER GO!" Twilight angrily yelled. Bagorah screeched in annoyance before snapping his jaws at the flying Alicorn, hissing in frustration as the Alicorn continued to dodge his attacks. Unbeknownst to Twilight, the ground below began to violently tremble. Before anyone could react, the ground exploded as another massive Titan emerged from the underground. The new Titan looked like a cross between a rhino, a dinosaur, and a crocodile. It walked on six legs ending in powerful clawed paws and possessed a heavily armored body. Its head was equally armored with a backwards facing frill jutting out from the end of its skull and a trio of blunt horns jutting out of its snout. The armored Titan opened its massive jaws filled with countless razor-sharp teeth as it lunged straight at Twilight.
"OH SWEET FAUST!" Twilight yelped as she dodged out of the behemoth's way. The armored Titan roared angrily as it charged after Twilight with hunger in its eyes. With another defeaning roar, the armored Titan leaped towards Twilight. Twilight quickly flew up and grabbed hold of Rarity before using a teleportation spell, teleporting herself and Rarity away just before the armored Titan accidentally smashed headlong into Bagorah, sending both Titans tumbling into the ground. As the two Titans struggle to recover, Twilight and Rarity spontaneously appeared in front of the rest of the group in a flash of magic.
“Princess Celestia! There’s another Titan on this island!” Twilight exclaimed.
“He looks rather ghastly, to boot.” Rarity added.
“Yes, we witnessed the creature emerge from underground.” Celestia stated.
“Y’know with all your power, you could’ve done a little more than “witness”. Now, let me guess, the other monster got a name too?” Onix remarked.
“Rokmutul.” Was Celestia’s only response before the sounds of angry roaring and screeching caught everyone’s attention. Rokmutul and Bagorah finally managed to right themselves up, snarling in anger as both Titans glared at the multi-colored equines. The two behemoths were about to attack when the sight of pitch-black clouds caught their attention, along with the ponies’. Golden lightning violently danced around the clouds, as if it was alive and brewing with anger.
“Wait, that’s the same storm we picked up before Bagorah attacked us. How can that be possible? It was on the other side of the map!” Twilight said. Onix narrowed his eyes as he glanced at the storm quickly approaching.
“Thunderstorms don’t move that fast. In fact, they don’t even move on their own at all...” Onix stated. “Unless....”
“SKREEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGHHHH!”
Everyone froze over hearing that very familiar and dreadful shriek. Almost instantaneously, the truth behind the dark clouds was revealed to the ponies.
That was no thunderstorm brewing in the sky.
A flash of golden lightning streaked through the clouds, briefly casting Ghidorah’s massive sillhuette before going dark again. Like a eagle diving towards the ground from mid-air, Ghidorah dove out of his cover and barreled towards the island. With a loud shriek, Ghidorah smashed into Bagorah with enough force to level a mountain, grabbing hold of the significantly smaller Titan in his talons and slamming the beyond befuddled thing into the ground. using her magic, Twilight teleported herself and everyone out of the brawling Titans' path and onto a nearby cliff, where they would be safe.
"Hey, better them getting torn apart by Ghidorah than us, right?" Rainbow said with a uncertain grin.
"How can you say that, Rainbow?! Those Titans are animals just like rabbits and bears! It's not right seeing any living creature get hurt, not even Titans!" Fluttershy scolded.
"Oh, save me the lecture, Flutters. The giant bat and that lizard thing down have been nothing but pretty damn hostile towards us! I think it's great that those big jerks are getting their butts handed to them by something even bigger than they are!" Rainbow shot back, crossing her arms in her usual pouty mannerisms.
"That's such a mean thing to say!"
"Maybe it is, but that's just way life is sometimes. Nature isn't always cute and fuzzy like you want it to be. It can get real ugly sometimes. You of all ponies should know that!"
"Gals, quit yer fightin' already! We got other problems t' worry about!" Applejack yelled.
"You mean like that?" Pinkie asked, motioning to the towering form of Ghidorah getting sent sprawling into the cliffside.
"LOOK OUT!" Twilight yelled as she once again teleported everyone to safety right before Ghidorah smashed into the cliffside. Rokmutul charged at Ghidorah, only for the golden Titan to grapple onto the armored Titan's face with his talons. Ghidorah's three heads latched their jaws on Rokmutul's backside, lifting the Titan in the air before flipping him over and smashing him on the ground. Bagorah screeched as he lunged at Ghidorah and began swiping his talons at the triple-headed Titan. Ghidorah's right head clamped its jaws on Bagorah's tail and pulled down hard, slamming the bat-like Titan into the ground. Ghidorah's right and left head then grabbed onto Bagorah's wings and forcibly outstretched them, causing the Titan to screech in pain. With a snarl, Ghidorah's center head opened its jaws and fired a fully-charged gravity beam straight into Bagorah's chest, sending the Titan flying into the ground. Ghidorah snarled and turned around, watching with mild amusement as Rokmutul stood back up, roaring with fury. Ghidorah simply unfurled his wings and took to the air, grabbing Rokmutul in his talons and flying a couple thousand feet into the sky. With a shrill hiss, Ghidorah dropped the unfortunate Titan out of the sky while simultaneously firing a volley of gravity beams straight into Rokmutul's stomach and sending the Titan crashing into the hard ground below.

"Back to the ship! Hurry!" Twilight exclaimed, running towards the wreckage with the others. Onix's horn ignited with its red aura as he began magically replacing the damaged parts of the ship with new ones, managing to at least revive the engines.
"Get inside! I got the engines working!" Onix yelled. His gaze turned to the enormous three-headed Titan, who had just noticed his airship, charging towards the ponies with renewed bloodlust. Onix quickly rushed everyone inside as quick as possible.
"Go, go, go! You too, Celestia!" Onix exclaimed. After everypony was inside the ship, Onix jumped in the cockpit and activated the thrusters.
"SKREEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!" Ghidorah angrily screeched as he neared the ship.
"He's getting closer! HE'S GETTING CLOSER!!" Rainbow frantically exclaimed. After a moment, the ship finally came to life and rocketed into the sky just mere seconds before Ghidorah's center head could bite down on the vehicle's rear propeller. Ghidorah snarled with rage as he watched the ship fly off.
"WHOOOOOOO! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE'RE ALIVE!" Pinkie exclaimed joyously, shaking Rarity by her shoulders.
"PINKIE, DARLING, CAN YOU PLEASE STOP SHAKING MEEEEE I'M GETTING A BIT DISORIENTED...!" Rarity exclaimed. Pinkie finally let go of the white unicorn, giggling like a little kid.
Onix leaned back on the pilot’s seat, crossing his arms behind his head. Letting out a deep sigh, the stallion opened a small compartment and took out a worn and slightly grainy photo of a smiling unicorn couple with a filly. The small family all wore a smile on their face, which in return brought a small smile on the former sergeant's face. As Onix kept longingly staring at the photo in his hooves, he didn't notice Twilight standing in the entrance.
"What are you looking at?" She asked with genuine curiosity. Onix let out a soft sigh before putting the photo back into the compartment before turning to the lavender alicorn.
"Nothing important." Onix replied. "Shouldn't you be going over some battle plan with your friends or something?"
"Celestia believes its best to call for additional support. I came to ask if you would fly us to the Crystal Empire."
Onix let out a loud huff as he rolled his eyes at the alicorn's statement.
"I think that's the most intelligent thing Celestia has ever said on this journey. Still, I honestly wonder what you see in Celestia. It can't be the fancy galas, that for sure." Onix said in a deadpan tone.
"Well, I for one really want to know what your problem with Celestia is. She may have ordered your imprisonment and closed that program you probably worked hard for, but let's be completely honest here: it’s your own fault your program was shut down and you were sent to jail!" Twilight exclaimed, earning a slightly shocked expression from Onix.
"I've been working on that program for a long time. I knew that with my technology, we could keep Equestria better protected from those giant monsters. Especially that lizard! If I was able to prove my program worked by killing the lizard, I would...."
"Get fame and fortune and become a great hero by slaying a innocent creature that just so happened to be twice the size of a dragon....?" Twilight asked with a frustrated tone.
"Why do you keep defending that big-ass iguana like if it was some treasured family dog? It's a TITAN. All Titans are just mindless and bloodthirsty monsters! Three of them just proved that today!" Onix exclaimed in frustration. "If my program were still on, then nopony would have to fear being attacked by a Titan like that damn lizard anymore!"
Twilight stood up, struggling to keep herself from exploding with anger. She turned to face Onix with a hardened glare.
"That lizard is far more than some mindless beast. Godzilla has demonstrated a great amount of intelligence, kindness, and extreme loyalty we have never seen in other Titans. Back in Appaloosa, I saw how he looked at you. He definitely recognized you. You and I both knew that he could've easily enacted vengeance and killed you. But he didn’t, did he?” Twilight stated in a matter-of-fact tone. “I can’t think of any logical reason to kill Godzilla. He’s never harmed any-”
“HIS KIND MURDERED MY FAMILY!”
Twilight took a couple of steps back as she stared at the sergeant with a equally shocked expression. Her anger completely disappeared as she looked at Onix with a more somber expression. Onix sighed as he calmed down a bit, giving the alicorn a hard look.
“...... I was six, maybe seven when it happened. It was a rainy night. Me and my folks were relaxing in our house, having a nice dinner until the ground shook. Before I knew it, we heard this.... terrible roar. At first, we thought it was a dragon so we ran out of the house to escape. Before I knew what had happened next, blue fire struck the ground and I was sent flying by the force of the explosion. I somehow managed to get back on my hooves after that. I don’t know how or why, but I survived. My parents... were not so lucky.” Onix explained, earning a distraught look from the alicorn princess.
“I looked up and saw this massive mountain-sized creature staring at me. And then, it left. Since that day, I realized Titans are just bloodthirsty monsters. Every last one of them! Especially that damn lizard!”
“Onix, I... I didn’t know.... I’m so sorry... But you can’t blame Godzilla for the sins of his own kind. I can’t say the same for the rest of his species, but he’s really not like them.”
“How do you know that?”
“You weren’t the only one who lost your parents to monsters. I found Godzilla’s egg one night and brought it to Fluttershy. Since then, she raised Godzilla as if he was her own child. Godzilla is an intelligent creature that learns from his surroundings. Because of Fluttershy, Godzilla learned how to be kind, like her. I get that you’re angry, but Godzilla’s not to blame for what happened to your parents. Give him a chance.”
Onix looked at Twilight, opening his mouth to speak right before Applejack suddenly rushed into the cockpit in a panic.
“Applejack? What’s wrong?” Twilight asked.
“No time for explanation, Twilight! We got ourselves a mighty big problem!” Applejack replied in a almost panicked tone. Onix and Twilight followed the farm pony to the ship’s main control room where everyone was staring at the window.
“What’s going on...?” Twilight asked. She noticed a heavily shaking Fluttershy slowly point her trembling hoof to the window.
“H-H-H-Him....” The pegasus stammered. Twilight and Onix turned their attention to the window and nearly screamed at what they saw. Ghidorah had tore apart a large cloud, screeching with anger as the Titan barrelled towards the ship. It was apparent he’d been following the ship since the group escaped from his clutches back on the island.
“EVERYONE, DEFENSIVE POSITIONS! ALL HOOVES ON DECK!!” Onix yelled, running to the pilot’s seat.
“SKREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGH!!!” Ghidorah screeched, snapping one of his jaws at the ship’s rear engines.
“OH SWEET FAUST, LET US LIVE! LET US LIVE!” Rarity exclaimed, immediately beginning to panic as she frantically strapped herself to one of the passenger seats. Onix grabbed hold of the controls and banked to the right, narrowly dodging another snap from Ghidorah's jaws.
"SKREEEEEEAAAARRRGHHH!!!!" Ghidorah shrieked with frustration. His necks began to glow with intense golden light as he opened his jaws, firing another volley of gravity beams at the ship. Onix pressed down on the handle, forcing the ship to take a nosedive and dodge one of the lightning beams.
"Man, Ghidorah must really hate us!" Rainbow exclaimed. Ghidorah kept firing gravity beams at the airship, forcing Onix to constantly swerve the ship in different directions to keep the beams from striking the ship. One of Ghidorah’s gravity beams managed to blast away the right engine, sending the ship careening towards the ocean below.
“AH, SHIT!” Onix screamed. “HOLD ON, EVERYPONY! THIS IS GONNA BE A REALLY BUMPY RIDE!!”
Onix pulled the steering handle back as hard as he could, uttering out a strained yell as it took all of his might to keep the ship from smashing into the water. The airship finally managed to gain altitude before hitting the water, skimming right over the surface of the ocean. Ghidorah hovered right above the ship, grabbing hold of the transport with his talons.
“He’s got a hold of the ship!” Twilight exclaimed.
“Not this again!” Fluttershy yelped. Ghidorah snarled as his center head peering into the front-view window and glared at the ponies inside. Rarity and Fluttershy immediately fainted from sheer terror while the rest of the group huddled together with fear. The center head snarled as it opened its jaws, illuminating his throat with golden light.
"Oh shit...!" Onix gasped, closing his eyes as he anxiously awaited certain death.
"SKREEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGGK!!!!!"
The ocean seemed to explode as Godzilla lunged out of the water and grabbed hold of Ghidorah's center head and forcibly dragged the Titan into the water, causing Ghidorah to release his grip on the ship and send it sprawling into the water. The ship's engines finally died out, leaving the ship stranded on the water.
"That was...." Fluttershy spoke out, unable to finish her sentence as she witnessed Godzilla and Ghidorah shoot out of the water in a vicious brawl. Godzilla kept dragging Ghidorah into the water, violently slashing and biting at the Titan's necks while the golden Titan frantically clawed at the saurian in return. Ghidorah screeched in dismay as he was pulled underwater by Godzilla, violently thrashing around in the water. Both Titans were wildly ripping into each other in a vicious close-quarters brawl. Ghidorah whacked Godzilla in the face with his twin tails, forcing the saurian to back up as trails of blood seeped out from newly-opened wounds caused by Ghidorah's spiny tails. Ghidorah tried to escape the watery depths and fly out multiple times, only to be pulled back down by Godzilla each time. With a shrill shriek, Ghidorah slashed Godzilla in the face with his talons before swimming to the surface, making a beeline for the ship.
"GHIDORAH'S COMING BACK!" Rainbow yelled. Ghidorah's right head lunged at the ship, only for Godzilla to bite down on it and drag the head back into the water along with the rest of Ghidorah's body. The two Titans ferociously duked it out in the water for another few moments before Ghidorah finally had enough and constricted his heads around Godzilla and leaped out of the water, hauling the saurian towards a nearby island and dropping him on the sand. Godzilla snarled as his dorsal spines ignited with their blue light as he prepared to fire a atomic blast at Ghidorah. However, the golden Titan pinned the saurian down, clamping all three of his jaws on Godzilla's neck. Godzilla screeched in pain as Ghidorah began literally sucking the life out of him. Godzilla began to feel his energy quickly fading and the light of his dorsal spines ebbing. Ghidorah was draining the saurian Titan's energy and he immediately sensed it. Godzilla struggled to break free from the dragon's grip, but he was growing weaker by the second.
"SKRRROOOONNGK!" Godzilla cried out. Twilight and the rest of the ponies opened a hatch that led to the roof of the airship, climbing to the front of the ship as they began to witness what was going down.
"What's Ghidorah doing to Godzilla?!" Fluttershy exclaimed.
"He's siphoning his energy! How is that even possible!?" Twilight exclaimed as well, watching the sight before her with horror. Godzilla screeched in pain, snarling in frustration as he tried to gather enough energy. Godzilla's spines began to weakly glow with blue light, flickering with low intensity as the spines transferred the power to Godzilla's body. Ghidorah's left head released its grip on Godzilla's body as it began to quizzically gawk at the now glowing saurian. Before anyone could figure out what was going on, Godzilla ushered a loud roar as he expelled a powerful nuclear pulse from his body, sending Ghidorah sprawling into the air. Celestia quickly formed a shield around herself and everypony, blocking the group from the brunt of the blast. Ghidorah shrieked in confusion and frustration, deciding it was best to leave the area and get to business. With a flap of his wings, Ghidorah took off into the sky and once again disappeared into the clouds. Godzilla, on the other hand, had expelled the rest of the little energy he had left to repel Ghidorah and finally collapsed on the sandy ground, now too weak to even stand on his feet. Using her magic, Twilight levitated the damaged ship to the island and ushered everyone to disembark the damaged transport. Fluttershy approached the downed saurian, feeling like her heart just shattered into a million pieces.
The peaceful village of Mavenwood had always been a quiet place, where the peaceful villagers would go about their day with a skip in their steps and a smile on their faces. The happy villagers had never experienced a catastrophic crises in the fifty-seven years since the discovery of the village.
Until now.
Multiple massive dark clouds suddenly grouped together in the sky en masse, blocking out the sun in a matter of mere seconds. Streaks of golden lightning flashed and danced around the clouds, occasionally striking the ground and setting wildfires in the distance. The villagers simply believed they were experiencing another thunderstorm and ran inside their homes to take shelter, unaware of the real danger hiding behind the clouds. Landing on the peak of the nearby mountain known as Mount Avalon, Ghidorah settled down on his new perch, overlooking the land that would soon be reshaped to the Titan's liking. As the golden Titan prepared to strike the village, the sound of wingbeats caught his attention. Ghidorah turned around to meet Bagorah and Rokmutul approaching the draconic three-headed Titan. For a moment, it seemed as if the two Titans wanted to challenge Ghidorah to another brawl like last time. However, much to Ghidorah's surprise, the two beasts didn't try to attack him. In fact, they bowed before Ghidorah like he was some king. Ghidorah seemed to be satisfied with this result, standing upright as he looked down at his new minions.
"SKREEAARGH! SKREEEEEEEARGH!!! SKREEEEEEEEEE!" Ghidorah screeched to the Titans, in a manner similar to a sergeant barking orders at his soldiers. Bagorah and Rokmutul acknowledged their new alpha's commands, taking off in separate directions. Ghidorah unfurled his wings to their full length, feeling electrifying power surge all over his body as lightning danced all over his form. Ghidorah's throats began to glow with intense light as he opened his jaws, taking aim at the village. With a loud screech, Ghidorah fired three massive super-charged gravity beams at the village and began obliterating it, along with the now panicking villagers shrieking in terror as the Golden Demise wrecked havoc on their once peaceful home.
The Devil's reign of terror has begun.

"Dear Faust...." Celestia gasped in horror as she gazed upon a widescreen monitor overlooking all Titan activity in Equestria. Bagorah ravaged the Northwest side of Equestria, decimating populated areas such as Neighpon and Dodge Junction. Rokmutul tore apart the west hemisphere of Equestria and had quickly laid waste to big time cities like Applewood and Fillydelphia. Ghidorah himself was busy decimating Baltimare with reckless abandon, reducing the city to rubble. All around Equestria, the three malevolent Titans wiped out town after town, rampaged through homestead after homestead, and tore apart city after city. The rest of the Main Six (save for Fluttershy, as she was tending to Godzilla) stared at the screen in horror at what they saw.
"Th... This is.... This is just horrible! Look at the ungodly amount of destruction those dreadful beasts are weaving!" Rarity exclaimed in disgust.
"How long do we have before Ghidorah massacres the rest of Equestria....?" Twilight asked.
"It's hard to say. I... don't even know if we would have time to stop them now." Celestia replied.
"We can't just sit around and sulk! We gotta do something! Let's find a way to get Godzilla back on his feet so he can stomp those stupid Titans to mush!" Rainbow said.
"We can't." Onix said, staring out the window in a sulking manner.
"What do you mean "we can't?" There has to be a way!"
"Don't you understand? There is no way to help your pet! He almost got his life sucked out of him! I don't know how to fix that!" Onix said in a more abrasive tone, much to the surprise of the Main Six.
"Why are you gettin' worked up for, anyway? Ah remember fondly that you wanted t' get rid of Godzilla." Applejack stated while crossing her hooves.
"...... I was a fool. A stupid, angry, arrogant fool. I let my stupid obsessions get the better of me. I didn’t want to admit it, but.... I was blind and.... angry...." Onix said, raising the interest of everyone in the room, especially Twilight.
"I was wrong. About everything. I can see now that I have done horrible things just to chase this stupid vendetta against Celestia, and for that I sincerely apologize. I should’ve listened to you and what you had to say.” Onix stated, looking at Twilight before turning his gaze to Celestia.
“Both of you.”
Everypony looked at one another before turning their gaze back on Onix. Twilight approached the stallion with a smile on her face.
“That was the most intelligent thing you’ve said on this journey.” Twilight said, earning a small smile from the former sergeant.
“Now, concerning the lizard, I still don’t know how we’re gonna help revitalize him...” Onix said, before widening his eyes in realization.
“Whoa, wait a minute... Wait a minute!” Onix exclaimed, running to a screen and typing in several commands.
“What are you doing?” Rainbow asked.
“I think we do have a way to help your pet. The lizard utilizes nuclear energy, right? I just remembered I have a couple of nukes on this ship just in case I needed to use them.” Onix said, opening a capsule and taking out a large streamlined nuclear missile.
“When Godzilla re-emered in Manehattan completely healed and already grown to his adult size, I knew something was up... Then it hit me. The nuke you attacked him with didn’t kill him at all.” Twilight deduced.
“Yes, it didn’t kill the lizard. In fact, it did the exact opposite! Nuclear energy doesn’t harm your lizard. It feeds him. So, if we were to drop a nuke on the lizard...”
“..... It would revitalize Godzilla just enough to get him on his feet again!”
In a flash of light, Twilight teleported herself right next to Fluttershy with an excited grin on her face, startling the pegasus.
“EEP! Twilight!” Fluttershy yelped.
“Fluttershy, we need you at the ship. We have some very good news concerning Godzilla.” Twilight said.
Onix and Rainbow loaded the missile into one of the available slots in the ship’s main cannons, prepping the weapon for launch. The rest of the Main Six worked to get everything ready and make sure the launch would be a success.
“So, you’re sure this won’t kill Godzilla?” Rainbow asked.
“It shouldn’t. After all, the lizard survived the last nuke I threw at him. Is everything ready?” Onix replied.
“Yep!”
“Absolutely.”
“We’re ready to go!”
Onix sat in the cockpit of the ship, activating the newly rebuilt thrusters and getting the ship airborne after switching on the power. The ship hovered right above Godzilla, aiming the nuke at the fallen Titan. Celestia and Twilight stood beside Onix, watching the process unfold through the front-view window.
“Let’s hope this plan of yours works...” Celestia said.
“I really hope it does.” Onix said. “Let’s get this party started.”
Onix pressed a spherical red button on the dashboard, activating the firing mechanism. The nuke shot out of the ship faster than a bullet, smashing into the ground with tremendous force. The second it impacted the ground, the nuke erupted in a enormous explosion that obliterated everything on the island. The sheer force of the explosion knocked the ship far into the sky, sending everypony inside in a panic.
“AAAAAAAH!” Everypony screamed. After a moment, Onix finally managed to stablize the ship in the air before slowly settling down near the massive pillar of smoke fuming from the island.
“Is everyone alright?” Celestia asked, to which everypony nodded in reply.
“Hey, would ya look at that there sight....” Applejack said, turning everyone’s attention to the fuming pillar of smoke. Flashes of blue light flickered through the smoke, growing more and more intense by the second. To everyone’s surprise, especially Fluttershy’s, the pillar of smoke was cleared away as Godzilla rose up to his full height. His dorsal spines were aggressively flashing with intense blue light while his eyes and gills were glowing with the same light. With a snarl, Godzilla opened his jaws as he lifted his head to the sky and firing a massive beam of nuclear fire far more brighter and powerful than any light source into the sky. It was like Godzilla was spewing out the sun itself from his mouth.
“Yes! WHOOOOOO! HE’S BACK, BABY!” Pinkie excitedly exclaimed while man-handling Rarity and Applejack in a tight hug.
“YES!!!” Twilight and Fluttershy exclaimed, hugging each other in joy. Onix laughed quietly to himself, watching the light show with a relaxed expression on his face.
“Welcome back, big guy.” Onix said. Godzilla cut off his atomic breath, letting out a snarl as he turned to the ocean. After stealing a quick glance at the ponies who saved his life from the grip of death, Godzilla rushed into the ocean and swam off. He knew there was no time to waste and he needed to track Ghidorah down immediately before he can cause further destruction. Onix ran to the tracking system on the terminal, looking down at the screen.
“Guys, come take a look at this. Ghidorah’s leaving Baltimare and now is on the move. Lucky for us, Godzilla hauling ass after him as we speak.” Onix said.
“Ghidorah’s travelling down the Southern hemisphere of Equestria. Now there’s no populated areas except.... the Crystal Empire!” Twilight gasped.
“We need to warn Cadence immediately!” Celestia exclaimed.
“Then Ah reckon we start haulin’ tail over to th’ Crystal Empire stat.” Applejack said.
“I wholly agree with Applejack.” Rarity said.
“Before we go rushing in guns blazing and all, we still need serious backup. From what we’ve seen, Ghidorah won’t go down easy at all. Not to mention we alone can’t fight him off. I have a base of operations near Ponyville where we’ll have all the resources we need to take that three-headed bastard down for good. Hopefully with those resources coupled with Godzilla himself taking the front lines, we should be able to succeed.” Onix said, earning the Princess’ approving nod.
“Me and Twilight shall head to the Crystal Empire and aid in the evacuation. Onix, get as many soldiers and weapons you can muster. We’re counting on you.” Celestia said. Onix looked at the princess with a affirming nod, giving the Sun Diarch a salute.
“I won’t let you down, your majesty.” Onix replied.
“Oh, here take these.” Onix said, handing Twilight and Celestia a couple of miniature speakers that resembled earpods. “These devices will allow us to keep in contact with one another. Try not to lose them.”
“Thanks, we’ll keep in touch. Good luck, Onix.” Twilight said as she unfurled her wings and flew out of the ship along with Celestia.
“Good luck to you too. You’ll probably need it!” Onix said.
Maverick walked into the main control room while being accompanied by several guards. As he entered the room, all of the ponies working on the terminals stopped working and peered up at the grey stallion.
“My friends, you all know as well as I do that we’ve been trying to contact Onix Star for the past day and a half. He has never responded during that time and that can only mean one terrible thing.... our glorious leader has been killed.” Maverick stated, earning confused looks from everyone.
“I know, I know. It’s a tragedy. We can only assume Onix was felled by that no-good, cake-guzzling wretch Princess Celestia! So, with a heavy heart, I shall assume the mantle of leader. I promise to avenge the great Onix Star and destroy all that Celestia holds dear to her! Celestia will rue the day she ever crossed the Steel Hoof Corporation-“
The two doors leading to the control room flew open as Onix and most of the Main Six walked inside, greatly surprising everyone in the room.
“ONIX?!” Maverick yelped in surprise.
“Beautiful speech, Maverick. That was a true work of art. Too bad it was all for nothing. Okay, fellas, listen up. I need the best soldiers to line up at the hangars in ten minutes, we got a real problem on our hooves. Like, a really big problem. Remember the giant three-headed dragon that kicked all of our collective asses back in Appaloosa? The bastard’s heading straight for the Crystal Empire. We need all the weaponry we can muster if we’re gonna pull this off. Most of you will be joining me and the Main Six here in the assault against Ghidorah while some of you will aid Celestia in the evacuation process. One more thing: Godzilla’s en route to the Crystal Empire as well and he’s gonna be on the front lines with some of you. I don’t want anyone targeting Godzilla. Godzilla is a ally, not a enemy. If any one of you so much as points a gun at Godzilla, you will be immediately discharged and maybe even fed to the big lizard himself. Is that clear?” Onix stated, earning a simultaneous “YESSIR!” from multiple soldiers.
“Good to hear. Now get going! Maverick, I need Kiryu prepped and ready for launch. We’re gonna need some really big guns to take Ghidorah down.” Onix commanded.
“But, sir, our priority target is Celestia! Our whole mission revolves around destroying her and-“
“Not any more, Maverick. Our mission now is to defend the Crystal Empire. Do as you’re told and that’s it. Oh, and once we’re done with this operation, I’m pulling the plug on our weapons project. Now get to it.” Onix said, heading to the docking bay. Maverick glared at Onix behind his back, letting out a heavy sigh.
“Right away, sir.”

After arriving at the Crystal Empire, Twilight and Celestia quickly entered the Crystal Castle, where Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor were awaiting them in the throne room.
“Thank Faust you two got here in one piece! I received the message Celestia sent me. Is it true that monster’s heading straight for the Crystal Empire?” Cadence asked.
“It’s true, all of it.” Celestia replied. Twilight immediately began trotting towards Shining Armor, nearly jumping on him as she gave her big brother a warm hug.
“Twily! It’s been a while since you visited.” Shining said with a smile.
“My schedule’s not exactly free, y’know.” Twilight replied with a laugh. “You guys need to start evacuating everyone before Ghidorah arrives.”
Shining looked out the window, noticing that multiple huge dark clouds were suddenly forming in the sky, followed by violent streaks of golden lightning dancing around the clouds. All the civilians down in the streets stopped what they were doing and looked up at the darkened sky with trepidation.
“He’s already here...” Celestia stated with worry. The Crystal Empire’s civilians began running and screaming in terror as Ghidorah landed in town square, crushing the crystalline statue of Spike underfoot. The golden Titan’s heads swerved about in different directions as they scanned their new surroundings. Ghidorah’s center head took notice of the Crystal Castle and snarled, barking at the peripheral heads and getting their attention. Ghidorah made his way towards the castle, stomping on fruit vendors and some of the smaller houses. Twilight, Celestia, and the royal couple ran outside to one of the castle’s many balconies to get a better look at the Titan approaching the castle. Ghidorah snarled as his heads quizzically inspected the castle before resting their gazes on the Crystal Heart.
“HEY! GET AWAY FROM THE CRYSTAL HEART!” Cadence yelled, getting the attention of the triple-headed Titan. Ghidorah snarled as he gazed upon the four ponies standing on the balcony.
“Um, honey, was that really the smartest thing to do...?” Shining asked with worry on his face.
“Probably not...” Cadence replied with fear in her own tone. Ghidorah snarled as he stood up on his legs, his throats glowing with golden light as he prepared to send them into oblivion.
“Oh Faust....” Twilight gasped.
“SKREEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGK!!!!!”
Ghidorah immediately froze upon hearing that roar, snarling in frustration as the light in his throats died down. Ghidorah turned around, letting out a beyond frustrated hiss upon setting his gaze at the very end of the landscape. Godzilla had made it to the Crystal Empire, and was now approaching the main entrance. Following the saurian, a entire fleet of airships flew beside the Titan in a tight formation. Rainbow and the rest of the Main Six were piloting the airship leading the squad in the attack.
“WHOOOOO! LET’S GO KICK SOME TITAN TAIL! YOU GUYS READY?!” Rainbow excitedly yelled in the radio.
“Hell yeah. It’s about time we go take a massive shit on this three-headed asshole!” Onix said, gleefully smiling as he piloted a newly repaired Kiryu. Ghidorah let out a angry screech, completely ignoring the castle as he began barrelling towards his now most hated nemesis. Godzilla snarled as his slow walk transitioned into trotting before it finally exploded into full-on sprinting.
“SKREEEEEEEOOOOOOONNNGGGGKKK!!!!”
“SKREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!”
The two Titans charged straight at each other before ramming into each other like two colliding freight trains.
Godzilla and Ghidorah collided into each other with tremendous force, creating a small shockwave that toppled over several buildings. Godzilla grabbed hold of Ghdorah by his necks and swung him around, throwing the three-headed dragon into one of the larger buildings.
“SKREEEEEEEAAAARRRRGGHHHH!!!” Ghidorah screeched, jumping up and latching his jaws on Godzilla’s neck and shoulders. Using his great strength, Ghidorah pushed Godzilla back and shoved the saurian into the Crystal Empire train station, reducing the building to rubble. Ghidorah snarled and leaped into the air, clawing Godzilla in the face with his talons. The saurian roared out in frustration, grabbing one of the huge crystalline pillars that formed the entry gate to the kingdom and uprooting it from the ground.
“SKREEEEOOOOOOONNNGGGKKKKK!!!!!!!” Godzilla roared, charging at Ghidorah with his makeshift weapon. Godzilla began repeatedly bludgeoning Ghidorah in his center head’s face, forcing the golden Titan to back up. Godzilla continued to swing his blugeoning weapon at Ghidorah, until the triple-headed Titan latched his right and left jaws on the pillar, forcing Godzilla to try and wrestle it away from the dragon’s grip. Ghidorah’s center head opened its jaws and fired a gravity beam straight into Godzilla’s face, sending the saurian stumbling backwards. Ghidorah’s right and left head shattered the pillar with their jaws before advancing towards the disoriented Godzilla. At that moment, Kiryu sprung right on top of Ghidorah and drop-kicked the Titan in the center head’s face. Ghidorah screeched in pain and let out a enraged shriek, charging at Kiryu. Letting out a shrill metallic roar, Kiryu leaped towards Ghidorah while its left arm converted into a sword. Kiryu swung the deadly blade downwards at Ghidorah's center head, only to have the Titan grab hold of its sword arm and smash the mech into the ground. Multiple airships swooped in on Ghidorah, firing volleys of magic-powered missiles at the Titan. Ghidorah screeched with annoyance as he used his wings to block the projectiles from striking his body, letting out several shrieks of defiance at the airborne ships. Kiryu stood up after its thrashing, resuming its battle position. Onix took a look at one of the screens on Kiryu’s dashboard that monitored Godzilla’s radiation level, nearly yelping at what he saw. Onix activated his headsets and immediately contacted Twilight.
“Twilight, you there?”
“Yeah, your earpods are working. What’s wrong?”
“We have a bit of a situation on our hooves.... Remember when we used the nuke to revitalize Godzilla?”
“Yeah, what about it...?”
“Uh, the nuke seemed to have gave him a little too much energy. In fact, Godzilla’s got maybe twelve minutes before he goes thermonuclear...!”
“WHAT?! You said the nuke would revive Godzilla, not turn him into a walking nuclear bomb!”
“I know, I know! Look, tell everypony to evacuate the city immediately. In the event things turn to shit fast, at least the citizens will be safe.” Onix said, switching off the comm-link.
***
“SKREEEEEEOOOOONNNGGGGKKKK!!!” Godzilla roared, charging at Ghidorah after he had finally snapped out of his daze. Ghidorah hissed as he latched all three of his jaws on Godzilla’s neck, lifting the saurian into the air before slamming him back down and dragging the Titan around on the crystalline floor. Sitting in the safety of the airship, the Main Six could do nothing but watch as the two Titans below fought it out.
“C’mon, G! You got this!” Rainbow exclaimed.
“RIPS GHIDORAH’S STUPID HEADS OFF AND SHOVE ‘EM UP HIS BIG YELLOW HINEY!!” Pinkie yelled, receiving weird looks from the other girls.
“What? I’m just getting in the spirit of the fight.” Pinkie said with a shrug.
“SKREEEEOOOONNGGGK!” Godzilla roared, grabbing hold of Ghidorah’s heads and forcing them off his neck. His dorsal spines began to flash with intense blue light, triggering the saurian to open his jaws. With a loud roar, Godzilla fired a particularily powerful atomic blast straight into Ghidorah’s chest, sending the golden Titan flying backwards. Ghidorah screeched in pain as he was violently propelled backwards, forcing himself to slam his wings on the ground and skid to a stop. Ghidorah hissed angrily, preparing to fire a volley of gravity beams at Godzilla when Kiryu grabbed hold of Ghidorah’s peripheral heads and dragged the Titan around, smashing him into a huge building.
“SKREEEEEAAAARRRGGHHHH!!!” Ghidorah screeched, opening his jaws and preparing to obliterate the mech with his gravity beams. Kiryu aimed its right arm at the dragon, unsheathing a net launcher and firing a large steel-grade net at Ghidorah’s heads. Ghidorah shrieked as his heads were helplessly glued to the side of the building, frantically biting at the steel wires in an attempt to break free. Ghidorah’s three heads were so pre-occupied with breaking out of the net that they didn’t even notice Godzilla advancing on him. The right head barely managed to turn around just to see Godzilla approaching, and let out a alarmed screech.
But it was too late for warnings.
Godzilla roared as he rammed into Ghidorah, plowing through the building like it was merely a cardboard cut-out. Ghidorah wailed in pain as he was violently thrown to the ground. Godzilla was now looming over Ghidorah, now angrily glaring at the fallen golden Titan that seemed to shoot back a cold glare of his own.
“SKREEEEEEEAAAARRRRR!!!” Ghidorah cried out. Godzilla ignored the cry as he lifted his foot to stomp on the Titan’s necks. Without warning, Godzilla was suddenly thrown to the ground as Bagorah grappled the saurian with his talons and knocked him over.
“SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” Bagorah screeched, swerving around before diving towards Godzilla once again.
“SKREEEEEEE-“
Godzilla shot up and grabbed Bagorah in a chokehold, slamming the bat-like Titan into the ground with great force. With a snarl,, Godzilla began repeatedly smashing poor Bagorah into the ground before lifting his tail and smashing the Titan through the floor with it. The ground behind Godzilla seemed to implode in on itself as Rokmutul emerged from the underground and charged at the saurian.
“GROOOOOOOAAAAARRRRRR!!!!” Rokmutul roared as he rammed into Godzilla and knocked the Titan into the ground before clamping his jaws on the saurian’s tail.
“HEY ASSHOLE, OVER HERE!” Onix yelled as Kiryu swooped in on Rokmutul. The huge mech grabbed hold of the armored Titan and fired a maser cannon straight into the Titan’s face, sending the armored beast careening into the ground hard. Kiryu took off into the skies just as a very angry Bagorah crawled out of the crater he was lying in and took off after the mech with a enraged screech. Godzilla stood back up just as Ghidorah regained his bearings, letting out a furious snarl as he cast a hateful glare on the saurian. Godzilla and Ghidorah charged at each other once again, the two behemoths grappling onto each other with teeth gnashing and claws flying.

All of the airships made landfall at the foot of the castle, allowing the Main Six and all of Onix’s troops to disembark the flying transports. The soldiers and the Main Six wasted no time in aiding in the evacuation effort, guiding the terrified citizens out of the town square and into the safety of the Crystal Castle.
“Let’s git a move on, y’all! There ain’t no time t’ waste!” Applejack exclaimed as she rounded the panicking citizens into the main doors of the castle.
“Hurry, into the castle! Please do be civilized and don’t push and shove like barbarians. There’s no need to be rough.” Rarity spoke out. Twilight ran out of the castle, overlooking the entire process.
“Is everyone accounted for?” She asked.
“We’re all clear.” Fluttershy responded, much to the relief of the lavendar alicorn. The Main Six turned their sights to the massive monster-sized brawl between the five Titans that was breaking out just several feet away from the castle.
“Good. The citizens are safe at last. I just hope Onix and Godzilla can pull through and drive the other Titans away. The future of Equestria is now in their hands.” Twilight said with a hopeful look on her face.
***
Godzilla grabbed Ghidorah by his center head, sinking his teeth into the dragon’s neck. Ghidorah reeled in pain as he tried to break free from the saurian’s tight grip. Godzilla suckered-punched Ghidorah’s left head before spitting out Ghidorah’s center head and taking hold of it, smashing the head into a building and dragging it across the surface. Ghidorah screeched in pain as multitudes of shattered crystal shards were imbedded in his face and upper neck.
“SKREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!” Ghidorah screeched, ripping his heads from Godzilla’s grasp. The sound of rotating rotors caught the golden Titan’s attention, turning his sights to a couple of stray airships flying overhead. Detecting the intoxicating scent of electrical energy embued in the metal transports, Ghidorah’s center and right head snatched the very unlucky airships in their jaws. As Ghidorah began absorbing their power, his necks began to pulsate with a reddish-orange color before transferring to the rest of his body and then converting into a more intense golden light. Godzilla immediately backed away, sensing what was about to happen. Ghidorah let out a ear-splitting screech as he unfurled his wings, unleashing a massive barrage of super-charged lightning beams out of his wingtips that shot into the sky in different directions. Kiryu had been locked in a vicious close-quartered brawl when a few stray lightning beams struck both Titans and sent them sprawling out of control in mid-air.
“HOLY SHIT!” Onix screamed in surprise. Kiryu smashed into the ground with a explosiv thud, sending chunks of dirt and rock flying everywhere. Ghidorah aimed his wingtips at Godzilla, directing the super-charged lightning beams at the saurian. Godzilla screeched in pain as the sheer force of the beams sent the saurian careening into a half-destroyed building.
“No!” Twilight exclaimed. Without hesitation or thought, Twilight unfolded her wings and took off towards the battleground.
“TWILIGHT, NO!” Rainbow exclaimed, flying after the alicorn.
“C’mon, gals, we ain’t just gonna stand around lookin’ pretty!” Applejack said, urging the rest of the Main Six to follow her into the fray.
***
“SKREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!” Ghidorah screeched, unfurling his wings as he tried to make himself look even larger than he already is. Godzilla snarled in pain and anger as he slowly stood up. For some odd reason, he could feel his energy growing stronger and stronger by the minute. Godzilla let out a deep growl as he stood up high and stared down his massive opponent. Elsewhere, Kiryu had managed to right itself up. As the mech rose up to its full height, Bagorah and Rokmutul began to circle the metal Titan in a manner similar to stalking wolves.
“Come on, you sons of bitches, bring it on.” Onix growled. Bagorah and Rokmutul charged at Kiryu, tackling the metal Titan at the same time. Kiryu grabbed Bagorah by his tail and smashed him on the ground, whipping Rokmutul in the face with its tail at the same time. Kiryu leaped over Rokmutul, unsheathing its sword and slashing the armored Titan on his back. Rokmutul roared with pain, charging at Kiryu with a fiery rage in his eyes. The multi-limbed Titan clamped his jaws on Kiryu’s leg and began dragging the mech around. Kiryu lifted up its sword arm to strike the Titan again, only for Bagorah to swoop in and tear the arm off with a sharp jerk.
“Dammit, not again!” Onix exclaimed. Bagorah screeched as he swooped in again and smacked Kiryu in the back right as Rokmutul charged in and rammed into Kiryu, flipping the mech over on its back. Kiryu had suffered major damage to its mainframe, and now it looked like the mechanical beast was about to fall apart.

“Keep it together, Kiryu. Keep it together...” Onix spoke with a groan. Kiryu weakly stood up, noticing a large untouched building next to the two Titans. Onix smiled smugly, glancing at the two advancing Titans.
“Bingo.” Onix murmured. Kiryu’s right arm converted into a missile launcher and he aimed the weapon at the building, firing a couple of missiles at the crystalline construct just as Bagorah and Rokmutul charged at the damaged mech.
“GROOOAA-“
“SKREEEE-“
The building collapsed as it toppled right on the two Titans, burying them in a sea of glass and crystal shards. Onix let out a laugh, turning to Godzilla and Ghidorah as the two beasts continued to brawl with each other.
“Okay... two down, one to go.”
***
Godzilla charged at Ghidorah with great speed, only to be immediately deterred by a double tail-whip to the face by the three-headed dragon. Ghidorah advanced towards Godzilla, snarling with annoyance upon hearing the familiar sound of metal footsteps approaching him. Ghidorah whipped his heads around just as Kiryu launched itself at the Titan. Ghidorah’s center head opened its jaws and fired a gravity beam at Kiryu, sending the mech flying into the ground.
“AAAAGHH!” Onix screamed as Kiryu violently crashed into the ground.

“I SAID OVERRIDE, DAMMIT!!” Onix screamed at the interior computer. Onix looked up from the front-view window of Kiryu’s cockpit, watching with horror as Ghidorah suddenly sprinted at Godzilla at full speed. Ghidorah unfolded his wings and took to the sky, grabbing Godzilla in his talons and wrapping his tails around the saurian’s neck before taking to the skies with Godzilla in tow. Twilight and the rest of the Main Six arrived on the scene, watching in horror as Ghidorah carried Godzilla into the clouds.
“NO, WE’RE TOO LATE!” Twilight exclaimed in terror. Ghidorah vigoriously flapped his wings as he ascended higher and higher in the sky. Godzilla attempted to break free of the dragon’s grip, only to have Ghidorah increase his grip even more. Ghidorah finally reached Equus’ stratosphere, hovering over the clouds as he glared down at the Titan squirming in his grasp. Godzilla’s dorsal spines began to flicker brightly with light as the saurian tried to fire a atomic blast at Ghidorah. At that moment, Ghidorah seemed to cackle with glee as he immediately released his grip on Godzilla, watching the saurian helplessly plummet towards the ground. The Main Six could do nothing but watch as Godzilla hurdled towards the ground at high speed.
“NOOOOOOOO!!!” Fluttershy screamed, completely powerless to do anything. Godzilla roared in dismay as he smashed into the ground, sending massive chunks of rock and steel flying everywhere while releasing a huge amount of pent-up energy in several directions. The Main Six immediately rushed to the massive crater where Godzilla lay, running to the fallen saurian lying in the center of the crater. Much to everyone’s relief, Godzilla was still very much alive and breathing. Fluttershy hovered over Godzilla’s snout, gently caressing a hoof over it.
“It’s going to be alright. You... you’re gonna be okay....” Fluttershy cooed, barely containing her tears as she began to silently weep. Godzilla looked at the cream-colored pegasus and softly snorted a gust of air into her face, earning a small smile from Fluttershy. The sound of massive wingbeats caught everyone’s attention and turned their sights skywards just as Ghidorah landed just a few feet from Godzilla. Twilight and the others stood in front of the weakened saurian, angrily glaring at the golden Titan.
“STAY AWAY FROM HIM, YOU VILE AND DEVIOUS BEAST!” Rarity screamed.
“IF YOU WANT GODZILLA, YOU’RE GONNA HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME!” Rainbow yelled.
“AND ME!” Applejack added.
“I GOT A EXPLODING PIE IN MY HOOF AND IT HAS YOUR NAME ON IT, YOU BIG MEAN DRAGON MONSTER!” Pinkie yelled with a pie in her hoof.
“WE WON’T LET YOU HARM GODZILLA ANY FURTHER!” Twilight yelled. Ghidorah snarled as he advanced towards the group. As he prepared to kill them all, Ghidorah’s heads suddenly looked up and loudly hissed. Twilight and the others turned around to see a severely damaged Kiryu approaching the golden Titan. Kiryu itself looked like with every movement it made, the mech threatened to fall apart at any given moment.
“Twilight....” Onix spoke through Twilight’s headset.
“Onix, what is it...?” Twilight asked.
“...... Make sure Godzilla murders that three-headed snake for me.” Onix said.
“W-What...?”
Kiryu activated its thrusters and leaped into the sky, making a beeline for Ghidorah. Kiryu’s jaws opened up as they began to glow with a purplish-red color.
“Onix, what are you doing!? Onix!!” Twilight yelled. Ghidorah hissed as his throats glowed with golden light, triggering his heads to open their jaws. Onix glared at the dragon with nothing but utmost hatred for the creature.
“COME ON!!! DO IT YOU BITCH!!!!!” Onix screamed. As if adhering to the former sergeant’s command, Ghidorah fired three super-charged gravity beams at Kiryu. Kiryu was barely pushed back as the beams completely obliterated the mech and Onix, reducing them to ashes. Godzilla weakly looked up, letting out a pained groan as the dusty remains of Kiryu slowly landed on the saurian. Twilight watched the dust fall to the ground, noticing a half-burned picture lying on the ground. Twilight picked it up in her hooves, breaking out in quiet sobs as trails of tears ran down her cheeks.
"Onix…. W-W-Why....?" She sobbed. As Godzilla’s power grew to even greater levels, his body began to pulsate with crimson light. Twilight and the rest of the Main Six immediately noticed this.
“What’s happening to Godzilla?” Applejack asked.
“Godzilla’s about to go thermonuclear. Onix warned me about this." Twilight replied. Ghidorah sensed the increase in Godzilla's energy and snarled, immediately wrapping his heads around the saurian and clamping his jaws on Godzilla's neck as he began absorbing the immense power from the Titan's body. Godzilla roared out in pain and began squirming, trying his best to break free from the dragon's grip.
"NO! LET GO OF HIM!" Twilight angrily screamed. She took to the skies and dived towards Ghidorah, firing several super-charged magical beams at the Titan. The projectiles smashed into Ghidorah's center head, forcing the Titan to drop Godzilla and turn to his new target.
"SKREEEEEEEAAAAAARRRRGGGGH!" Ghidorah screeched, chasing after the alicorn on foot. Twilight yelped as she narrowly dodged one of the Titan's jaws, flying off as she led Ghidorah away from her friends.
"TWILIGHT!" Everyone screamed.
***
"OH SWEET FAUST, WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?" Twilight exclaimed as she dodged another set of gravity beams. Ghidorah was right on her tail, picking up speed with every stride he took. Ghidorah's center head fired another gravity beam at Twilight, managing to strike her right wing and incinerate it.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" Twilight screamed as she crashed on the ground, skidding to a very sudden halt. Twilight stood up, looking at her missing wing in horror before turning her sights to the enormous three-headed Titan now looming over the alicorn princess. Ghidorah lowered his heads as he glared menacingly at the wounded alicorn, bearing his teeth in a threat display. It seemed that all hope was lost for Twilight, that her life would end here at this moment. However, despite the fact that death was standing right above her, Twilight suddenly began to smile. Ghidorah was puzzled at the equine's strange expression. How could she be happy at the face of doom? Ghidorah snarled and opened his jaws, ready to kill the alicorn once and for all. But before he could kill Twilight, Ghidorah suddenly stopped. The air suddenly began to grow hotter and hotter with each passing second. It felt like the sun was somehow getting closer to Equestria. Ghidorah could feel the heat rapidly growing, his gaze suddenly turning to a pulsating crimson light that was quickly surrounding the area. Ghidorah could feel it, this bizarre heat was growing stronger. Ghidorah realized the heat was materializing somewhere behind him, and so he turned around to find the source of the intense heat.
He found the source, and he didn't like it at all.
Everywhere he stepped, fire would consume the ground below, creeping up on the land and melting away any object in range within seconds. The almost otherworldly heat wafting from the saurian's body reduced nearby buildings and other structures to piles of ash. Given his fiery appearance, it was clear that Godzilla had began channeling so much atomic energy mixed with his own rage, that he was constantly generating a beyond ungodly heat of which Equestria had never seen before. His entire body was illuminated with glowing reddish-orange cracks that covered the titan's body from head to tail, giving him the appearance of a walking volcano. His amber eyes were now glowing with orange fiery light that indicated the saurian's burning rage. Even his claws and teeth were pulsating with the same bright light as his body. In other words, Godzilla has become a living inferno.
"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGKKKKK!!!!" Godzilla roared, shaking the ground beneath everyone's feet. The rest of the Main Six were awestruck as they stared at the sight with wide eyes and jaws agape. Never before had they seen anything like this in their lives.
"Oh... mah.... Faust..." Applejack gasped, completely in awe.
"Whoa, that's so AWESOME!" Rainbow exclaimed.
"Sweet Celestia…." Rarity said, holding a hoof over her chest. Even from the safety of the castle, Celestia and everypony else got a good view of the action.
"Incredible...." Celestia softly spoke with a hint of awe in her voice.
"SKREEEEEEEAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGHHHHH!!!" Ghidorah screeched, charging towards Godzilla despite feeling a eerie sense of fear from witnessing the saurian's new form. Godzilla simply snarled, his dorsal spines igniting with red light as crimson electricity sizzled and sparked around his backside. With his body glowing brighter than the sun itself, Godzilla roared as he expelled a massive crimson nuclear pulse towards Ghidorah. The nuclear pulse knocked Ghidorah off his feet while brutally decimating the three-headed titan's body. Ghidorah screeched in terrible agony as the pulse incinerated his wings, reducing the dragon's powerful arms into charred stumps. Godzilla snarled as he angrily approached Ghidorah, leaving behind a trail of fire at his wake. Ghidorah roared at Godzilla once more, but this wasn't a angry roar.
It was terror that escaped the dragon's jaws.
Out of sheer desperation and a overwhelming surge of panic, Ghidorah fired another barrage of gravity beams at Godzilla, hoping to knock the saurian over and escape. But to the dragon's horror, Godzilla was seemingly unaffected by the attack as he casually continued to advance towards his enemy while tanking the supercharged electric beams without showing any pain whatsoever. Annoyed at best, Godzilla's body began to violently glow again as the walking mountain of fire expelled another nuclear pulse at Ghidorah. Ghidorah wailed even louder as his two peripheral heads were immediately obliterated by the intense heat of the second pulse, leaving his center head behind to wail in horrific agony.
"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGGKKKK!!!!" Godzilla roared, staring down Ghidorah as he lifted his left leg over the severely wounded dragon. With a enraged snarl, Godzilla stomped down on Ghidorah's chest. The sickening crunch of shattered ribs along with a dying shriek from the weakened Ghidorah served as nothing more than music to Godzilla's eardrums. Godzilla gathered a huge amount of energy in his body, expelling a final nuclear pulse that obliterated everything, including Ghidorah, in it's radius. Ghidorah could only scream one last time before he was vaporized by the blinding, fiery light.
Twilight opened her eyes once again, wincing in pain as she rubbed her head. She definitely was still groggy. It probably was due to the fact that she was temporarily incapacitated after being forcibly knocked over by a mild shockwave that must have followed the nuclear pulse Godzilla expelled upon destroying Ghidorah. Before she knew it, Twilight was suddenly tackled by a cyan blur that managed to knock her down on the floor. Twilight initially yelped in surprise, but after her vision finally cleared, the alicorn simply sighed in relief as the purple blurr turned out to be Rainbow.
“Rainbow!” Twilight exclaimed, wrapping the cyan Pegasus in her hooves gleefully. It didn’t take long for the rest of the Main Six to practically jump on Twilight in a massive group hug.
“GROUP HUG!” Pinkie screamed joyfully as she squeezed Twilight in a huge hug.
“Ack!” Twilight exclaimed, a burst of laughter immediately following the yelp. Twilight smiled warmly as she tried to hold onto the hug for a minute longer.
“I’m glad all of you are okay.” Twilight spoke in a half-exhausted tone.
“The same can be said for us, darling. We thought the worst had happened when you didn’t fly out of that gloomy wall of smoke.” Rarity said, still trying to wipe away the last of the soot from her mane. The white unicorn immediately noticed the charred stub that was once Twilight’s right wing, letting out a loud gasp.
“Twilight, your wing! Look at this, it’s completely destroyed!” Rarity gasped, getting the attention of everyone else.
“It’s okay, girls. I’m alright, really.” Twilight said, with a slightly dejected expression upon looking at her missing wing.
“Don’t worry about your wing, Twilight. We’ll get you back in shape in no time.” Fluttershy said, earning a small smile from Twilight. Fluttershy looked around the area, noticing there was no sign of Ghidorah or Godzilla anywhere nearby. Worry welling up in her stomach, Fluttershy began to look anxiously look around the area in hopes she could find some sign Godzilla was still around.
"Has anyone seen Godzilla after that shockwave? I don't see him anywhere." Fluttershy asked as she was now hovering over the expanse of debris in a panic. Unfortunately, her expression transitioned from worry to terror as the pink-maned pegasus heard the audible sound of violent tremors as the ground below began to shift and shake while a large pile of debris just a few inches from the group began to stir. Everypony yelped in surprise as what appeared to be Ghidorah’s head poking out of the rubble.
“ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! HOW IS HE NOT DEAD?!” Rainbow yelled as she huddled up with the rest of the Main Six. Twilight was about to fire a volley of magical projectiles at Ghidorah when she suddenly stopped, looking up with a smile as three rows of huge jagged dorsal spines rose up from the rubble. Godzilla, who had now cooled down and returned to his normal state, stood up as he held Ghidorah’s bloody, lifeless head in his jaws. With a annoyed snarl, Godzilla snorted as his dorsal spines ignited with their normal neon-blue light. Lifting his head, Godzilla roared as he expelled a final atomic blast straight through the decapitated head, completely erasing Ghidorah from existence with a single blast of his atomic flame. Once Ghidorah's head was destroyed for good, Godzilla snorted as he coughed out bits of golden scales and even some stray wisps of electric that lingered around his teeth. Fluttershy placed a hoof on her chest as she let out a relieved sigh, a small smile creeping on her face.
“Ah’ll tell ya, Flutters. You raised up one hell of a Titan.” Applejack said with a grin.
"I sure did." Fluttershy replied with a smile. Fluttershy flapped her wings and floated into the sky, hovering in front of Godzilla’s snout. With her smile growing, Fluttershy hugged the titan’s snout as Godzilla began to utter a content, low-pitched growl that almost sounded like a purr. Twilight smiled as she watched Fluttershy and Godzilla share a tender moment together. It really amazed her that a giant and powerful creature capable of leveling entire cities can be so incredibly gentle. However, everypony’s attention was turned to a pile of rubble that was suddenly moving. Bagorah and Rokmutul finally emerged from the rubble, both Titans visibly injured and exhausted from the battle. Bagorah shrieked at his partner in crime, motioning him to move along as the two beasts prepared to run off.
"Grrraaargh….!"
Bagorah and Rokmutul froze in place, slowly turning around to meet the cold, unforgiving gaze of Godzilla. The two Titans hung their heads low in a shameful manner, cowering under the saurian’s gaze. Godzilla shot a glance at Fluttershy, whom had simply nodded to the saurian with a smile. The tension in Godzilla’s face loosened up as he glanced at the two Titans, getting their attention with a significantly softer grunt. Bagorah and Rokmutul seemed surprised at Godzilla’s sudden shift in mood. The two Titans glanced at Godzilla once more before running off into the distance until Godzilla couldn’t see them anymore. With Ghidorah dead and Equestria safe once again, Godzilla let out another grunt before walking off towards the ocean. Twilight let out a long and heavy sigh before turning around to meet Celestia and the royal couple approaching the Main Six.
“There are no words to express how grateful we and the entire Crystal Empire are for your selfless heroism and bravery. A celebration is definitely in order, but right now reconstruction of Canterlot and the rest of the cities that were attacked is our top priority.” Celestia said. “Cadence, are you sure you’ll be able to handle reconstruction efforts here?”
“That won’t be a problem, Tia.”
“Good. Okay, everypony, it is time to return to Canterlot. Luna and Spike are waiting for us, after all.” Celestia said. After Twilight and the Main Six said their goodbyes to the Crystal Empire, the Main Six and Celestia headed for the train station and boarded the next locomotive heading to Canterlot.
“It feels like its been forever since we rode on a train.” Rainbow said, bouncing on her seat. Twilight reclined on her seat and looked out the window, watching the train speed by several trees and some hills. As she finished settling in, Twilight began to feel something welling inside of her. It wasn’t fear or anger or anxiousness. For the first time in a while, Twilight was finally feeling peace. With a tired yawn, Twilight rested her head on the seat’s headrest, closing her eyes and drifting off to a much needed nap.
For the first time, Twilight was able to sleep peacefully without the fear of seeing three-headed dragons in her dreams.
