"Man this is the life," Rainbow Dash thought, "no rules, no anything. I can sleep, I could fly, I could do anything."
Rainbow Dash closed her eyes and happily returned to slumber, that is, she would of, had she not been interrupted. Rainbow heard a small noise coming from below the clouds. She looked down over the cloud to see a small filly crying. Dash squinted, the filly looked familiar. Just then it hit her, thats Scootaloo! Rainbow Dash flew down to see what was wrong.
"Hey squirt," Dash said not hiding her concern, "whats wrong?"
"T-the crusaders t-they both got their cutie m-arks, I still don't have mine." She said between sobs.
Rainbow Dash picked up Scootaloo and held her close.
"Shh shh now," Rainbow Dash said, "its ok its ok. Im sure you will get your cutie mark, I know you will.
She set Scootaloo down gently and looked at her face, Rainbow was not very emotional when if came to helping friends, but Scootaloo was different. Dash knew she needed a motherly figure since hers was such a bad influence. Dash didn't want anypony to ever hurt Scoots, she had too many bad things happen in her life for a little filly and she shouldn't have more. So it was fine with Dash to hold the sobbing Scootaloo close, it felt good actually, to help this filly. It felt good to know that she loved Scootaloo and would do anything for her.
"Scoots," Rainbow Dash said, "I know this is hard but cutie marks aren't something you're born into, they come naturally."
"But Dash, that snob-nosed filly Diamond Tiara has a diamond tiara as a cutie mark, wasn't she born into that?" Scootaloo asked.
"Psssh," Rainbow said laughing, "I'll let you in on a little secret about that cutie mark, its painted on. Filthy Rich didn't want his daughter to have a cutie mark that isn't something she lives up to so he painted it on and she thinks its real."
"Really?" Scootaloo said giggling, "Is that actually true?"
"You bet your wings it is kid, here how about we try a little flying practice?" Rainbow said.
"Sure!" Scootaloo said excitedly, "let me just get my helmet!"
Rainbow chuckled, she loved that filly to death. Rainbow smiled thinking of when she first met Scoots.

"Hah!" cried the first bully, "You're just a chicken!"
"Ya!" said the other bully, "Bwack bwack!"
"Man," said the third bully, "shes barely even a chicken she can't even fly!"
The three bullies began to chant, "Chicken, chicken, chicken!" as Scootaloo began to cry, why did she have to get picked on? It wasn't her fault her wings were small.
"Leave her alone." A voice growled.
"Or what?" The first bully called, not seeing the pony whom had just threatened them.
"Or, I crush you like the little cockroaches you are." The voice hissed back at the bullies.
"Stormchaser maybe we should go..." The second bully said quietly.
"Not now Lance!" Stormchaser said to his friend.
"Listen to your friend," the voice called "or else I'll make you leave."
Stormchaser gulped, maybe this wasn't the best idea. They could just leave now. Nothing happened right? Nopony would know they backed out of the fight. But who was this pony? He had never heard her voice before, it was gruff but had feminism in it. Wait it was a mare? He couldn't lose to a mare!
"Show yourself!" Storm yelled out.
A pegasus mare stepped out from behind a tree. Her multicolored mane moved from the wind blowing in front of her. Her eyes were a beautiful magenta color. Her coat was a light cyan color and her slim body showed it off perfectly.
Stormchaser and Lance's mouths dropped, the third bully had previously run away and wasn't coming back anytime soon. The mare was clearly the athletic type and was stepping closer to them. The closer she was the more they saw the fire burning in her eyes.
Both colts ran without thinking about it at all, as a result both ran into each other and fell back. The mare laughed, she had gotten them out of the way. She turned to the puffy eyed filly on the ground.
"You ok squirt?" The mare asked.
The filly sniffled, "Im fine."
"Here," the mare said handing the filly a tissue. "now then, whats your name little filly?"
"S-scootaloo." the filly said quietly.
"Well Im Rainbow Dash," The mare announced, "Im just about the fastest flier in Equestria"
"Really?" Scootaloo asked in awe, "How fast can you go?"
"Ever seen a Sonic Rainboom?" Dash asked.
"Those are real? I was reading about them until my mom bur-" Scootaloo stopped suddenly, she wasn't supposed to talk about mom. "Good fillies keep quiet." her mom had said once. Even if her parents were a little mean she still loved them, but bruises still weren't as nice as hugs...
"You mom did what?" Dash asked. Dash knew what word she would have said though, burned, that obviously wasn't good. Her parent situation must have been bad, she stopped suddenly so she probably isn't supposed to talk about it. Dash decided to let it slide, but still her brain nagged her for doing so.
"She um, my mom, put them away! Ya, she said I was reading too much." Scootaloo said.
"Well squirt since you've only read about them, want to see one?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"That sounds awesome!" Scootaloo said happily following Dash to see her in action.

"That was a great day," Rainbow thought as she saw Scootaloo running back, "She actually got to see the whole deal."
"Im ready Dash!" Scootaloo said.
"Okay squirt!, first things first, you have to stretch your wings so they don't get cramped." Rainbow instructed.
Scootaloo began to stretch, "easy peasy," she thought.
"Ok next get into position." Rainbow Dash said showing her how to.
"Got it." Scootaloo said as she crouched low and spread her wings.
"Now then, flap your wings and use the wind to your advantage, glide on it." Dash said.
Scootaloo began to flap her wings, she started to hover off the ground and soon after she was a few feet in the air. Scootaloo flapped harder and began to move foward.
"Woo! Great job kid, keep on going!" Rainbow cheered.
Scootaloo found it was much easier to fly in front of Rainbow Dash then her father who had tried to teach her, while Dash would cheer, her father would yell. Scootaloo began to pant, this was getting hard, staying in the air hurt a little. She gently glided down and landed next to Dash.
"Great job squirt!" Rainbow said gently mussing up Scootaloo's mane.
"Thanks Dash! I've been practicing more and more." Scootaloo said with pride.
"Scoots, wanna come back to my house with me? We could get a bite to eat if you want." Rainbow asked. Rainbow knew that Scootaloo wasn't getting very much food at her parents house, what harm would one night do?
"Sure!" Scootaloo answered gladly.

The two pegasi approached Dash's house. Dash flew to the door and opened it. Walking in there was a small crunch.
"I'm sorry Rainbow! I didn't mean to step on it!" Scootaloo said as she handed the letter she had stepped on to Rainbow Dash.
"No worries squirt its probably just bil-." Rainbow stopped. The letter, was that the Wonderbolt logo? Rainbow began to pant, her hooves shaking. She opened the letter slowly and began to read.
Dear Miss Rainbow Dash,
We have been informed of your amazing flying attributes and would like you to come test for the Wonderbolts, please come to Cloudsdale stadium at 9:00 sharp to test.
Be seeing you,

"Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh." Rainbow panted.
"What is it Dash?" Scootaloo said taking the letter from Rainbow's numb hands. As she read her eyes widened. "Rainbow Dash," Scootaloo cheered, "you're gonna be a Wonderbolt!"
The next day an eager Scootaloo and Rainbow dash walked down to Sugarcube Corner. Dash had planned for all of her friends to be there so she could tell about the letter she had gotten. After Rainbow Dash had read the letter, she proceeded to get onto her could-couch and faint. Rainbow Dash woke up five minutes later and offered Scootaloo to stay the night. Though Rainbow Dash hadn't slept that night from too much excitement she was still as energetic as Pinkie Pie.
The two pegasi walked into Sugarcube Corner, only to be greeted by a large explosion from a party cannon.
"OmygoshDashiewhatdidyouwanttotellus?" said Pinkie all in one breath.
"Now, now, darling," Rarity said shushing Pinkie, "I'm sure Rainbow is just dying to tell us."
Rainbow Dash thought and looked for the right words, "Its too forward to just say 'I'm going to be a Wonderbolt', maybe I could say, 'I'm trying out for the Wonderbolts, and I may get in', ya that will work." Rainbow Dash thought to herself. But just as she was about to say the words she was interrupted by somepony else.
"Dash is gonna be a Wonderbolt!" Scootaloo announced, "She got a letter that said she needs to go to Cloudsdale to try out!"
Each pony gave a different response, Fluttershy gave a small smile before fainting, Applejack gave a pat on the back to Rainbow, Pinkie Pie hugged Dash as hard as she could, Twilight began writing a letter to Princess Celestia, and Rarity's eyes lit up, shining like diamonds.
"Well I'll be, I cant believe y'all got in Dash!" Applejack said.
"We gotta plan the party! There will be cake and treats and punch." Pinkie said standing on one leg using the others to list off party items.
"Dear Princess Celestia, it seems one of my dear friends Rainbow Dash..." Twilight mumbled under her breath as she wrote the letter.
"Cloudsdale?" Rarity gasped, "That's amazing Rainbow dear, you simply must tell us all about it! Ooh! Maybe you can go to Canterlot! I would love to go again.
Fluttershy laid on the ground eyes closed, still fainted.
"Woah guys," Dash said, "Its not official, I still have to test out and get in, but if I do I'll make sure you all come with."
"Your faithful student Twilight Sparkle." Twilight said finishing the letter.
"Now Dash, Ah gotta ask, what in tarnation did the letter say?" Applejack questioned.
"Well it was fairly short, but it said that at nine o' clock I have to be at Cloudsdale stadium to try out." Dash answered.
"Well did it say the date?" Rarity asked.
"No but, I still have Soarin's number from that night after the wedding," Rainbow Dash said recalling the night, "Ya he said if you ever want to get some pie sometime call me, and gave me the number, I'm sure I can call him and ask."
Fluttershy then woke up, "I'm sorry everypony for fainting, I mean, this is just so amazing. Think of all the fun Rainbow will have." Fluttershy spoke softly.
"Are you bringing anypony with you to Cloudsdale?" Twilight asked.
"I have one pony in mind," Rainbow Dash thought smiling, "but that's only if they want to go."
Rainbow Dash crouched down low, eye level, to Scootaloo.
"Scootaloo, want to go with me to Cloudsdale?" Rainbow asked smiling down at the little filly.
Scootaloo's heart skipped a beat. She could go to Cloudsdale with her all-time idol?!
"I-I don't know what to say," Scootaloo said, "Wait! I mean of course I will!"
Everypony laughed and sat down to have some treats.

Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo sat in the cloud house, Rainbow Dash was packing for the trip. Scootaloo had already packed and told her parents she wasn't going to be home for a little bit. Dash was happy Scootaloo was with her, even if she wasn't the best flier she was one of the best fillies she had ever met.
"Scoots," Rainbow said, "should I pack the gala dress in case we go to a party of some sort?" Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash began to laugh, everypony knew Rainbow wouldn't dress up for anything unless forced to. The only time she had even gotten into a dress was when Rarity threatened to hide her Daring Do books. Speaking of which she needed to pack those too.
"Dash," Scootaloo said quietly, "thank you so much for taking me, I'm really happy I can come with."
Rainbow Dash smiled at the little pegasus, she was happy Scootaloo was coming with, she would never want to leave her. "No problem squirt." Dash replied holding back small tears.
"Oh crap," Rainbow Dash said, "I gotta call Soarin' real quick kid, be right back."
Rainbow Dash walked outside onto her balcony and dialed Soarins number. Man this phone was a pain, the buttons were too small!
"Hey Soarin'" Rainbow Dash said when she heard him pick up.
"Oh man, hey RD!" Soarin' replied.
"Hey I was wondering what time to I report to Cloudsdale for the test?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Cloudsdale? You got the wrong place, you're going to Canterlot, we need to go to the stadium there, I think Spitfire sent you a letter saying we had changed places." Soarin' answered.
Just then Scootaloo called from the inside, "Rainbow! You got another letter! Ohh, it says the test is being moved to Canterlot!"
Rainbow facehoofed, "Just got the letter."
"Great, so its in two days at 9:00 sharp at Canterlot stadium, got it?" Soarin asked.
"Yep got it, thanks Soarin', tell everpony I say hi!" Rainbow Dash said and hung up.
"Kay squirt, its bedtime." Rainbow Dash said, as she walked into the guest room with Scootaloo.
"Dash," Scootalo asked. "Can everypony else come with now, since the test has been moved to Canterlot?
"Well," Rainbow Dash thought aloud, "I think they could, I know Rarity would want to go for sure, Twilight may want to visit her brother, Applejack could sell some apples... Ya they may want to go. I'll check into ok?
"Ok," Scootaloo answered starting to fall asleep, "night Rainbow."
"Night Scootaloo." Rainbow said as she turned off the light and walked outside of the room.
Rainbow Dash called her friends, well she called two of them, she got Rarity and Applejack who both said yes. but, she couldn't get a hold of Fluttershy, Twilight, or Pinkie. "Hmmm," Rainbow Dash thought, "I'll have to call them tomorrow." Rainbow Dash got into bed, and fell asleep.

Rainbow Dash had finally asked all of her friends, all had said yes. Everypony was coming with and Rainbow Dash was glad. She needed the support. They were leaving today at 1:00. They were all staying in the castle because Twilight had told Princess Celestia they were coming to Canterlot. So now, Everypony was at the train station, waiting to board the train for Canterlot.
The train soon came, and after a five hour train ride, they were all at Canterlot, in the castle.
"Mannn," Rainbow Dash said, "I am tired." Everypony soon passed out after the words were spoken. Tomorrow the test begins, they might as well rest up.

The next day Rainbow Dash prepared for the test. Everything had to be perfect, she couldn't fail, she wouldn't fail.
"Ok first!" Scootaloo said, going through Rainbow's routine, "The round-about! You have to fly through the clouds, spinning them, then land on the last one and make that cloud rain."
"Got it." Dash said confidently.
"Second!" Scootaloo continued, "You have to move all the clouds into one part of the sky then hit each one to make out the picture of the Wonderbolt logo."
"Ok." Rainbow said organizing everything in her head.
"And the finale," Scootaloo said pausing for dramatic effect, "you have to make a Sonic Rainboom, and I know you can do that one!"
Rainbow Dash crouched, spreading out her wings, "Go time." She thought. Dash took off into the sky going extremely fast. She went through the round-about making the last one rain and before hand she had made the cloud placed in front of the sun so it shined the raindrops. Dash flew through the air going to the clouds bunched up. She began to kick each one making the logo she knew by heart.
Rainbow Dash fluttered to the ground, it was time for the big finish. Rainbow Dash flew up into the sky, then going straight down she arched up, breaking the sound barrier, making the Sonic Rainboom.

Rarity woke up and got out of bed yawning, it seemed all the rest of her friends were already up and about. "Fashionably late again." she thought to herself giggling.
"Oh!" Applejack announced snickering, "The princess has woken up!"
"Everypony needs their beauty sleep Applejack, but I was just about to take a walk in one of the wonderful nature reserves Canterlot has to offer. Anypony care to come with?" Rarity asked.
"Sorry Rar," Applejack answered, "I cant, Ah'm going to go out and look for a good place to set up shop."
"Im going to see my brother, sorry Rarity." Twilight said.
"I-I don't know..." Fluttershy said looking down at her hooves.
"I need to go plan a party for Rainbow Dash, the new Wonderbolt!" Pinkie Pie yelled.
"Its ok, I can go by myself, I will be fine, you all attend to you own worries." Rarity said gracefully.
Rarity walked outside of the castle, into the courtyard and onto a small dirt path. "Ah yes," she thought, "beautiful nature, I could make in all natural dress line! Green and grassy and..." Rarity stopped thinking as she noticed another pony ahead.
"Now then if I simply concentrate the wind should change directions..." The unicorn stallion muttered to himself.
The stallion had markings all over his body, just like Zecora's. His coat was brown like milk chocolate along with the darker brown markings. He wore a Lavender vest with white lining. His deep purple eyes had a sort of smart look to them. His mane was styled so that it had a few more inches to it, some what like an afro, half way through the middle of it, there was a single yellow stripe. His tail differed quite alot from his mane, instead of being poofy, it was sleek.
Rarity smiled, she was always happy to meet other ponies. "Hello sir," Rarity said, "I'm Rarity, its so nice to meet you!"
"Oh why hello Miss Rarity," the stallion said smiling as he looked up at her, "I'm Silver Wind, now may I ask, what are you doing out here? Most ponies stay inside the castle grounds, they like to look at the windows and such."
"Oh I'm just taking a small walk." Rarity said looking at the book of spells Silver Wind was reading. She was about to ask what the spells were, but he was one step ahead of her.
"These are wind spells," Silver said, "you see wind is my special talent." he said pointing to his flank which had three wispy lines that were no doubt the wind.
"Ooh fascinating," Rarity said genuinely intrigued, she did not always care for Canterlot ponies after they had been so rude to her on her second to last visit, "Wind is a very beautiful element."
"Yes it is," Silver Wind said happy somepony finally understood why wind was so pretty and graceful, just like the pony standing in front of him, "I can show you a small wind spell if you'd like."
"I would love to see it!" Rarity said as Silver concentrated to do the spell. Suddenly the wind changed, it blew through the tree leaves making out a small song. It was one of the most amazing things Rarity had ever heard, Silver Wind's magic was no doubt advanced. After the song had ending Rarity began to clap.
"That was amazing Silver!" She cried, "I didn't know anypony could do something so amazing."
"Thank you," Silver Wind said blushing, "I'm very glad you liked it. I would love to know more about you, w-would you like to get lunch sometime today or tomorrow?"
Now it was Rarity's turn to blush, she had never really been on a proper date, she had of course dated a few Stallions before but she was never with such a gentlecolt, "I would love to Silver." She said smiling.
Just then a loud boom was heard and a rainbow appeared across the sky, a Sonic Rainboom.

Applejack walked around the town looking for the perfect place to open shop. It had to be perfect not to big, not to small, not to dirty... Applejack stopped as she fell down from bumping into somepony.
"Oh, ma'am Ah am so sorry," the stallion who had bumped into her said as he helped her up, "Ah was trying to write down everything and, oh, Ah, here's your hat."
While the Stallion was grabbing her hat, Applejack got a good look at the pony, he was a dark Crimson, and had quite a large build, not unlike that of Big Macintosh, his eyes were an orange like the sun before setting. His black mane and tail were cut short and ruffled up, he wore a dark brown cowpony hat on his head and had an accent from someplace she couldn't think of.
"Uhm, Ah'm fine, thank ya kindly for helping me up, may I ask, where are ya from?" Applejack asked.
"Well Ah'm from little ol' Aaaaaaaappleloosa! Mah name is Buckshot, and you are...?" Buckshot said pausing waiting for Applejack to answer.
"Ah'm Applejack," she answered blushing from the gentlecolt, "So what do y'all do for a living Buckshot?"
"Well Ah was a royal guard, Ah quit after Ah got in trouble for protecting a citizen and beating up another pony," Buckshot said sheepishly, "Ah work for a private guard for Celestia now. Now judging from that thar cutie mark, Ah believe you do something apple related, am Ah right?"
"Why yes ya are," Applejack announced proudly, "Ah own Sweet Apple Acres in Ponyville! We have just about the grandest apples in Equestria!"
"Well Miss Applejack Ah would love to stay and chat, but I must be going," Buckshot said sadly, unhappy the beautiful mare in front of him would have to leave, "but, uh, maybe you'd like tah go out sometime, with me?"
Applejack blushed, she had never dated, didn't have time for it, after her parents had died she took care of everypony, it was hard work, but family was worth it. "Ah, Ah, don't know what tah say Buckshot, Ah've never been on a date before..."
"How about a yes?" Buckshot said smiling.
Applejack smiled at the stallion, "Ok then, yes."
Just as Applejack said yes a large explosion was heard from the castle courtyard and a rainbow appeared against the sky from none other than a Sonic Rainboom.

"That was great Dash!" Scootallo cried, her mane had been blown back from the sheer power of the Sonic Rainboom.
"I must say Rainbow Dash, that was quite impressive." A familiar voice called from behind the beaming Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash whipped around knowing the voice, "S-spitfire," Rainbow stuttered stuck in awe at seeing her idol, "what are you doing here?"
"I was just visiting Celestia to talk to her about a show." Spitfire said.
"Wow, cool," Dash said entranced by every word spoken by the pegasus, "I cant wait to take the test!"
"Oh there's no need for that." Spitfire said waving a hoof in the air, erasing imaginary plans.
"W-what?" Rainbow Dash asked, her ears dropping, she wasn't going to be a Wonderbolt.
"It wont be needed because you're in." Spitfire said smiling.
Rainbow Dash's cry was heard all through Canterlot.
"Ok," Silver Wind said to himself, "be cool, be suave." Silver Wind was on his way to the date with Rarity, and in all honesty, he was terrified. What if he wasn't high class enough for her? Silver gulped as the restaurant came into view. The restaurant, oddly was called Silver Diamond. Silver knew the owners and was good friends with them. He had specifically requested a table with an amazing view. Silver looked through some notes made for him by his friend Buckshot. Silver laughed thinking about how the cowpony was always writing notes down.
Rarity walked towards the restaurant Silver Wind had asked her to meet him at. Her legs shook a tad bit, she was scared. "Oh what if I'm not up to par with his smarts?" She thought, "Get it together Rarity, you graduated top of your class you can handle this smart, handsome gentlecolt." She approached the restaurant just at the time Silver Wind did.
"Hello Silver!" Rarity smiled trying to steady her legs, "I'm so glad I get to see you again."
"As am I Rarity," Silver Wind said lightly blushing, "I just couldn't wait to see you."
Silver Wind open the door and let Rarity through. He walked through to the door to a small table for two right by a window. Silver acting as a proper stallion would walked over to the chair, pulled it out, and motioned for Rarity to sit.
"My, my, Silver," Rarity said blushing from the gesture, "such a gentlecolt."
"Only around the most beautiful mares." he replied trying to not let himself slip, saying anything or doing anything wrong.
The waiter soon appeared asking what they'd like to drink.
"Hmm, I believe I will just have a water." They both said at the same time before smiling.
Rarity and Silver shared a laugh before the waiter returned with their drinks.
"Have you decided what you would like for dinner madam?" The waiter asked.
"Oh, hmmm, just a salad please." Rarity replied.
"And for you sir?" The waiter said.
Silver didn't reply, he was too entranced by Rarity's eyes to hear what the waiter had said. Her mouth opened to speak, no doubt to say something elegant and graceful.
"Silver?" Rarity asked, looking at the stallion hiding her laughter from the goofy smile on his face.
"Huh?" Silver said being snapped out of his trance spilling water on the table.
Rarity began to laugh as the waiter cleaned up the water, "He asked what you want to eat."
"Oh," Silver said beginning to laugh as well, "just a salad please."
When the server had left again Rarity spoke, "So you are a royal guard?"
Silver was about to answer but just then he was interrupted by an annoying voice he knew.
"Oh," Amber Glass, Silver's long-time enemy said pointing at Silver, "if it isn't Silver, oh and look, its his marefriend!"
Silver looked Rarity in the eyes with a look that said, Don't worry, I can handle this.
"Hello Amber, fancy seeing you here." Silver said with hidden venom in his voice.
"Oh I was just off on a mission Princess Celestia sent me on, I supposed I could get something to eat." Amber said putting emphasis on Celestia's name. "Oh and who's your little friend?"
"Rarity, this is Amber Glass, Amber this is Rarity." Silver said.
"Hello Rarity." Amber said picking up Rarity's hoof and giving it a kiss.
Rarity did everything in her power not to pull back her hand in disgust, who did this stallion think he was waltzing in and messing up their date?
"Shame you have to be with somepony like Silver," Amber said, by now the whole restaurant had gone silent. " I think you would be much better off with somepony brave and amazing, like me."
"Amber," Silver hissed, "not here."
"Oh what's this?" Amber said smirking at Silver, "Are you too much of a wimp to stand up for this beautiful lady?"
Rarity blushed at the word beautiful, not in a good way, this unicorn had crossed the line.
"Amber, go now." Silver growled eyes having turned cold.
"I would love to go, with your lovely mare that is." He replied still sneering.
Silver stood up looking Amber in the eyes, Silver was taller than Amber was. "I said go." Silver said, "Obviously you have no respect for any living creature and shouldn't even walk on the same ground Lady Rarity."
"Why you little!" Amber roared punching Silver only to miss and hit air. Before Amber was about to punch again Silver grabbed his hoof, twisting it.
"I said go." Silver growled at the unicorn, "If you don't want to I will make you."
Amber Glass hit Silver on the side of his head with his free hoof, forcing Silver to release his grip. Glass went for another punch only to be avoided by Silver. Silver hit Amber full force on the side of the head. Amber stumbled back, looked around before running out the door.
"I'm sorry Rarity," Silver said quietly, "I shouldn't have had to resort to violence."
"Oh darling," Rarity said smiling tears in her eyes, "it's fine, he deserved it, I just hope you're head is ok."
"Its fine," Silver said touching the side of his head where he had been hit, "why don't we go, our dinner was sort of ruined."
"I couldn't agree more." Rarity said giving Silver a kiss on the cheek.
AN: I decided both dates are going to be split up in chapters because Rainbow's new chapter is going to be long and I didn't want the dates crammed in after.
Applejack and Buckshot walked towards the club they were going to, Buckshot had asked Applejack and she had said anywhere that serves cider. He had asked her about five times if she was sure she wanted to go here.
"Are ya sure ya want to go here cause Ah could-" Buckshot started.
Applejack stopped and put a hoof over his mouth gently shushing him, "Ah'm sure, don't ya worry."
Buckshot smiled and nodded. As they got closer to the club. He wondered how his friend Silver's Wind date was going. Probably well, that stallion always could woo any mare, with his smarts and wind talents. Buckshot had strength and his talent, writing. He had always written everything, and with all the stuff he wrote about the more he knew. He wasn't just another pretty face, he was just about as smart as Silver Wind.
Buckshot walked up to the door and help it open motioning Applejack inside. The club was called Prim and Proper even if it was anything but. A mare named Vinyl Scratch along with another named Octavia made just about the coolest trot-step ever, mixing in classical and modern in one.
"Hey Buckshot!" Vinyl Scratch called down to him from the stage. She hopped over to him, "How's it hanging budddy! Woah woah woah," Vinyl said taking off her signature purple shades, "who is that mare right by you, is this the one you were telling me about? The really hot one?"
Buckshot looked down at his hooves, "Thanks Vinyl ya really know how tah greet everypony."
Applejack on the other hoof was laughing harder then she ever had before, "So Buckshot," she said, "Ah'm hot?" She began to laugh harder.
Just then Vinyl's marefriend, Octavia, walked over, "Hello Buckshot, who are you today?"
"Ah'm great, and ya?" He answered.
"I am fantastic thanks for asking." Octavia said.
Just then Vinyl interrupted, "Hey hot mare, what's your name?"
"Ah'm Applejack, from Ponyville." Applejack replied.
"Well Applejack," Vinyl said putting back on her glasses to cover her red eyes, "how about a little contest?"
"Depends on the contest." Applejack said eyes narrowing, she always accepted any challenge.
"Just a little cider drinking contest." Vinyl said looking at her hoof.
"Psssh, Ah make cider fer a living, Ah can hold mah own." Applejack said.
"Ok then," Vinyl said motioning over to the bar, leaving Octavia and Buckshot to talk, "first to twenty, ready set GO!"
Each mare began drinking trying to get to the number twenty. By the first ten Vinyl started to feel woozy, but Applejack was not stopping anytime soon.
"Woooo!" Vinyl said slurring her words, "You go girllll!"
"Have ya seen Applejack?" Buckshot said now noticing she was no longer there.
"No, have you seen Vinyl?" Octavia asked.
Just then from the other side of the room came a loud, "WOOOOOOO!", in a voice which sounded quite alot like Vinyl's, only much more slurred.
"Oh no." Octavia said running over with Buckshot to where the chant had come from.
Applejack was still drinking and was at nineteen, while Vinyl had stopped at ten.
"Oh hayyyyy Tavi'!" Vinyl said laughing, "How ya doing, Buckshot your girl is amazing!"
Applejack got to twenty and stopped, yet she still didn't pass out, instead she got up laughing and went over to Buckshot, "We we should dance!" She said laughing, as she pulled him onto the dance floor.
Applejack could not dance for the life of her but that didn't stop her. It wasn't that hard just move your hooves back and forth. Applejack did that spinning ever so slightly.
Buckshot could only watch, she would have such a hangover.... Well, might as well live it up, Buckshot went and grabbed a mug of cider for himself and drank in down in one gulp. One led to another and soon....
"E-E-EQUESTRIA GIRLS ARE KINDA MAGICAL!!!" Applejack sung off key.
"BOOTS ON HOOVES, BIKINIS ON TOPPP!" Buckshot finished as they both laughed.
They had left the club about five minutes ago and were running around Canterlot screaming and yelling songs. Both were drunk off their flanks and both were laughing too hard to notice.
They began to sing again, "FURRRY COATS, SO CUTE." Applejack yelled.
"WE'LL BLOW YOUR MINDSSSS!" Buckshot screamed laughing all the harder.
"AHOAHAOAH OH AOAHAOAHA!!!" Applejack laughed.
"I CANT REMEMBER THE REST OF THE WORDSSS!" Buckshot said still singing.
Just then a police pony walked over, Buckshot noticed him first and pointed to showed him to Applejack, who's eyes widened in surprise.
"RUN!" She yelled drunkenly running towards the castle with Buckshot.
"MY HOUSE IS RIGHT HERE!" Buckshot yelled, pointing to a door and unlocking it with a key he had. He shared a house with Silver Wind.
They both tumbled in and closed the door behind them, panting. Silver Wind was in his room laughing along with another female voice... Was that Rarity?
Buckshot walked over to Silver's room and knocked smiling. Silver opened the door only to be greeted with his drunk best friend.
"GUESS WHO'S DRUNK?!" Buckshot yelled.
"I guess Buckshot," Silver said running a hoof through his mane, "Where's your date?"
"Appplejack, sweeeeetie," Buckshot said, "Can ya come here?"
Rarity froze, Applejack, when she gets drunk she gets drunk. They learned that the hard way at Ditzy Doo's party last year.
"Hayyy!" Applejack said, "Its Rarityyyy!"
Rarity began to blush, as much as she and Applejack were good friends she really hated drunk AJ.
"Me an' Applejack are gonna go sleep." Buckshot said yawning actually wanting to sleep.
Applejack was already rolling around in Buckshot's bed laughing. Silver raised an eyebrow.
"Nahh," Buckshot said, "Dont worry, we ain't gonna buck."
Buckshot stumbled into bed and immediately passed out, snuggled up against a sleeping Applejack.
AN: Hah, hope you liked this chapter, now back to Rainbow Dash!
Rainbow Dash jumped and flew around squealing with the very though of her being a Wonderbolt. Spitfire had said to meet with her at 12:00 in the castle courtyard.
"This is gonna be soooo awesome!" Scootaloo cried, "Are you sure you want me to come with?"
Rainbow Dash stopped bouncing. She walked over to Scootaloo with a serious look on her face, "Scootaloo," Rainbow Dash said, "I will always want you there no matter what, you are the best kid ever and I'm sure you should come."
Scootaloo looked up at Dash tears in her eyes, she new she was Rainbow Dash's number one fan but she never knew Rainbow thought that about her, "Thanks." Scootaloo smiled.
Just then a golden mare walked up behind Rainbow Dash, "Hey Rainbow, how's it flying?" Spitfire asked smiling after witnessing what Rainbow had said to the little filly.
"Oh hey Spitfire," Rainbow said looking up and the pegasus, "I'm great, so uhhm, where exactly are we going? You said somewhere but I didn't know exactly...."
"Oh nowhere special, just the Wonderbolt HQ." Spitfire said smiling.
"WHAT? NOWHERE SPECIAL THAT'S AMAZINGGG!" Rainbow cried unable to hold her eager fangirl in, "Wait, is it ok if little Scoots come with?"
"Hey I'm not little!" Scootaloo yelled.
Spitfire laughed, "Of course she can, but it takes a little flying..."
Scootaloo thought, "If its only a little I can do it I know I can." Scootaloo nodded smiling, " I can do it, I've been practicing."
"Okay then follow me!" Spitfire said taking up into the air as Rainbow Dash followed. Scootaloo looked up into the air she crouched low, spread her wings and took off.
Scootaloo flew up next to Rainbow Dash smiling. It was easy flying now, she had been practicing so much. Scootaloo let out a whoop and did a small spin.
Rainbow and Spitfire flew faster as Scootaloo kept up, she had never been the best flier and this was amazing. Scootaloo flew ahead of both Spitfire and Dash laughing.
"Oh so that's how you wanna play huh squirt?" Rainbow said laughing. She sped ahead of Scootaloo.
Scootaloo saw the challenge forming and flew up to Dash's side smiling. Both stopped and waited for a signal that the race was going to begin. Spitfire laughed looking at both of them.
"Ok I want a clean race no cheating!" Spitfire said, "On your marks, get set, go!"
Scootaloo blasted off flying extremely fast like a bullet. Rainbow Dash smiled knowing she could go twice as fast but didn't letting Scootaloo keep her lead. Scootaloo flew faster and faster not thinking about it at all. Laughing louder she flew faster. Dash's eyes widened in surprise she never knew Scootaloo could go so fast if she kept on going she would beat Rainbow.
A large explosion was heard as Scootaloo fell out of the sky. Dash stopped as her mouth dropped. Dash snapped out of it and rushed down to rescue the filly. Alas, after all she tried, she failed.

Beep Beep Beep Beep.
Scootaloo laid in the hospital bed, un-moving, but still alive. Rainbow had gotten to Scootaloo too late, she had hit the ground and luckily wasn't killed. Scootaloo had landed in a tree stopping her fall, but it still did hurt her.
"Look," Said the doctor, "she broke both her right hind leg, sprained her left wing, and broke two of her ribs. She got hurt real bad."
"Can't you do something?!" Rainbow said crying.
"Her body got hit by lightning which made her fall, that would kill a normal filly; the fact she is still alive is a medical mystery. Even if she is still alive she has to heal, it takes time Miss. You can't rush this." The doctor replied as he left the room and Spitfire walked in.
Rainbow Dash looked down at Scootaloo. "It was my fault," she thought, "I raced her, if she hadn't been racing she would have never gotten hit, she wouldn't be here." More tears feel from Dash's eyes. "I'm sorry squirt." She whispered.
"Rainbow," Spitfire said, "I'm sorry, I really am, the cloud.... It was defective, it shot out lightning." Spitfire wondered how it could have happened, clouds almost never fail. Thats the kind of thing your hear in movies.
Just then Scootaloo opened her eyes and groaned, "W-where am I?" She asked.
Rainbow Dash looked up and sat close to Scootaloo hugging her, crying ever so softly. She tried answering the question but was sobbing too hard to do it.
"You're in the hospital kid, when you were racing you got hit by lightning and fell, you hit a tree and have a broken leg, two broken ribs, and a sprained wing. You also have a couple of bruises and cuts." Spitfire said.
"Ugggh," Scootaloo said, "that doesn't feel too good, but do you think the blood will come out of my coat?"
That was Scootaloo, joking when she was injured beyond belief. Even if the bight was black, she found a way to put light into it. The filly laid up in bed, smiling about her joke. She looked down at Rainbow Dash, "Hey Dash?" she asked.
"Ya squirt?" Rainbow asked wiping tears from her eyes.
"How come you aren't at the Wonderbolt HQ?" Scootaloo asked.
Scootaloo, thinking about Rainbow Dash's dreams while she was hurt. Scootaloo, not caring if she was ok, but if Rainbow Dash was. Scootaloo, smiling even if she was hurt.
"I, you, were more important." Rainbow Dash said.
"But you've been dreaming before I was born, you have to go, please, for me." Scootaloo pleaded.
"But-" Rainbow began.
"No buts, go there, tell what is was like, tell me what the Wonderbolts were like, say hello to Soarin' for me, please just do it. I'll be fine." Scootaloo said.
"But," Rainbow started again. She looked into Scootaloo's eyes. God damn those eyes, "Ok, I'll do it for you squirt."
"Hey Dash?" Scootaloo said.
"Ya?"
"I love you, now please go visit the Wonderbolts." Scootaloo said as she fell back asleep.
"I will squirt," Rainbow Dash sniffled, "I will."

"Ughhh," Applejack said as she woke up, "mah head."
Rarity walked in laughing, "Your head? That's no surprise, you came in absolutely drunk."
"Don't talk so loud." Applejack groaned.
Buckshot woke up next to Applejack, "Hey." he greeted.
"Ugghhh." Applejack moaned as she snuggled into Buckshot's chest, "how much did we drink?"
Silver laughed with Rarity, "Enough to sing Equestria Girls at 1:00 in the morning."
"Jus' close the door." Applejack groaned as she tried to sleep again.
Applejack snuggled in closer to Buckshot, it was nice, just being by him. Feeling the warmth he radiated. Feeling content Applejack fell asleep next to him.
Buckshot smiled as he looked down at AJ, he soon fell asleep next to her, a smile still on his face.
"I still don't understand how somepony could get that drunk and still be alive." Silver said to Rarity.
"Oh, you haven't even seen Applejack really drunk, one day we went to our friend Ditzy Doo's party, she was yelling at poles and trying to eat grass on the way home thinking it was chocolate." Rarity giggled.
"Buckshot once went up to Celestia drunk and said, 'I AM THE NEW QUEEN! CIDER FOR EVERYPONY!' he then fell over and passed out until I carried him back here, Celestia still taunts him for that." Silver laughed.
Rarity smiled at Silver, sitting closer next to him. "You really have to be the smartest stallion I have ever met." She said laying her head on his chest. She closed her eyes smile still on her face.
Silver looked down at Rarity, "You have to be just about the prettiest, most generous mare I have met." He said kissing her forehead.
Soon the house was silent, and everypony was back to sleep.

Scootaloo got up out of the hospital bed and walked towards the bathroom. She had been getting better of the past two weeks. She turned on the faucet and splashed some water in her face. One thing was still bugging her, her parents.
Scootaloo had never had a good household situation, her mother was abusive and her father was an alcoholic. When her mother wasn't hitting her, her father was yelling at her. Even terrible parents should worry about their children, but had her parents checked up on her once? No. When she had told them she was going to Canterlot the first thing her father had said was "I'm not paying.", could they really be that insensitive? Yet Scootaloo had gotten used to it, hiding her parents. Miss Cheerilee would ask about bruises, the reply was always a flying accident. And even though it wasn't official Rainbow Dash had basically adopted Scootaloo. Six out of seven days Scootaloo was staying at Rainbow's house, the guest room was now her room, filled with pictures of her and Rainbow or Wonderbolt posters.
It was an odd life, but it was her life. Scootaloo was starting to get used to it. She had stood up to her mother once, only to be locked outside the house in the cold. It wasn't fair, everypony else had nice parents, how come she didn't? Both her friends had parents, even if they didn't live in the same town. They got letters saying about how much their parents loved them and missed them, even Rainbow had parents who visited every so often.
Scootaloo dried her face and walked back to bed, picking up a Daring Do novel. At least the hospital had books. Scootaloo stared at some flowers on her bedside table from the elements of harmony, each of them had written a note to her. Scootaloo thought about the flowers. They bloomed perfectly, they weren't fast or slow they were perfect. "If only I could be like that." She thought. She picked up the flowers sniffing them, they even smelled perfect. Scootaloo picked up one single flower, and tore off a petal letting it fall gracefully. The falling petal reminded her of the race. Scootaloo's breath quickened thinking about it. She threw the flowers across the room eyes wide. Her breath had increased rapidly and now she was panting. A small whimper came from her mouth, she began to wail. Tears rolled down her face, and she thrashed around on her bed screaming.
The nurse rushed in nearly breaking the door, her eyes focused on the screaming filly. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, it happened to some when they would go through such a bad accident. It twisted the world, bending it, making it scarier than it already was.
Scootaloo screamed as the walls around became clouds, the floor turned into a high altitude and all below was trees.
The nurse called for a doctor, by now the whole hospital had been alerted of the episode. The doctor rushed in with a needle filling it with sleeping serum, he tried to get it into the filly.
Scootaloo screamed as the needle neared close, "GET IT AWAY!" She cried squirming as the doctor tried to inject her. Thunder sounded making Scootaloo shudder. "STOP THE NOISE, STOP THE THUNDER!" She sobbed, as she jumped off the bed only to fall into the trees.
The doctor looked at the filly writhing in pain on the floor, "Shhhh shhhh shhhh," he said getting the nurse to keep her still, "Its all gonna go away." The doctor shoved the needle into Scootaloo's arm and injected it into her.
Scootaloo cried as the needle went into her skin. Then all became black.

"Dash!" Soarin' called from the phone, "Its Scootaloo she's had an episode."
Rainbow Dash got up and rushed towards the phone, she was in the Wonderbolt HQ and Spitfire was talking to her about practice times.
"Yes?" Rainbow Dash asked panic in her voice, "This is Rainbow Dash."
"Ok," The doctor said on the other end, "Miss Scootaloo seems to have PTSD or in other words Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It happens when somepony goes through a bad accident, we need you over here right now."
"Ok, I'll be there soon." Dash said hanging up the phone. She turned to Spitfire, "Look I hav-"
"Say no more," Spitfire interrupted, "it's fine, just go."
Dash rushed out of the building and to the hospital. Why did this have to happen to the innocent Scootaloo? It wasn't fair, nothing in this world was fair, people were out falling in love, happy and nice, while Scootaloo was stuck in a hospital dreaming of the day she nearly died.
Rainbow walked into the hospital and ran to Scootaloo's room, the room she knew by heart. Rainbow was not ready for what greeted her.
Scootaloo laid on the hospital bed, strapped to it while hooked up to machines.
"I'm sorry about having to bind her," The doctor said, "we needed to keep her down unless she woke up and this happened again."
Dash walked over to where Scootaloo laid, "It's ok squirt," She said tears rolling down her face, "I'm here now."
"Miss Dash," The doctor said, "It seems her condition is worse than we thought, she has healed well, but her mental state is terrible, its hurting her. She's reliving the day she got hurt, and every time she does it gets worse. We need a way to get her mind off of it, I think her getting out of the hospital would be beneficial."
"Out of the hospital?" Dash echoed back, "That could work, she hasn't seen anypony in a while, it may be getting to her."
"I will leave you to think about it, but I highly suggest you pick a place not filled with bad memories of the incident." The doctor replied walking out of the room.
"I said I'd always be there for you squirt." Dash said, "And I will."

Buckshot woke up yawning, he looked to his side to see Applejack still snuggled up against him.
"Applejack," he said gently shaking her, "wake up honey."
"Mehhhhhhhh." Applejack answered throwing the covers over her head, "five more minutessss."
"Applejack, its two in the afternoon, Ah think it's time." Buckshot said still trying to wake her.
"Ah don't wannnnnna!" Applejack said moving in closer to Buckshot, closing her eyes tighter.
"How about if ya get up Ah'll show you all the beauty in Canterlot." Buckshot reasoned, "We could go with Silver an' Rarity."
Applejack threw the covers off her head, "Going with Rar and Silver? Like a double date?"
"Ah suppose if ya wanna get technical..." Buckshot trailed off.
"Only if ya give me back mah hat, you're still wearin' it from last night." Applejack said.
"Fine, here's your hat, now get up." Buckshot said smiling, giving her back the hat.
"Ya'll better be prepared when Ah come back from the bathroom." Applejack said pointing at Buckshot.
"Of course Ah will." Buckshot said getting back under the covers.
AN: Ok Im sorry about this chapter, I feel bad doing that to Scootaloo.... But thank you all for reading!
Buckshot, Silver, Applejack, and Rarity walked around Canterlot taking in all the sites. It was all so pretty, the scenery, the nature. They all walked towards a dirt path, which lead to a hill.
"Y'all ready for a little climbing?" Buckshot asked.
"Ah'm always ready, Ah bet Ah can beat ya to the top." Applejack replied.
"Ok then, what's the prize for the winner?" Buckshot questioned.
"Ya'll will just have to find out." Applejack said nuzzling him before taking off up the path.
"HEY YA DIDN'T SAY GO!" Buckshot laughed chasing after her.
Silver looked over at Rarity as they both walked towards the top where Buckshot had won.
"Ya cheated." Applejack said panting.
"Did not, anyways y'all get a prize now." Buckshot replied smiling.
"What's the priz-" Applejack asked only to stopped by a kiss.
"That's the prize." Buckshot said smiling.
Silver and Rarity walked up the hill together, both content with their pace, both happy by being with each other. They neared the top and walked up to see Buckshot and Applejack kissing. Silver gave a quick cough, and they broke apart.
"Anyways," Rarity said, "what are we up her for? Its almost dusk."
"That." Silver said pointing to a dark figure flying into the sky.
"Is that?" Applejack began.
"Luna?" Rarity finished.
"Yes it is." Silver said smiling. "She raises the moon."
Silver and Buckshot didn't say about how the princesses had told them to bring their dates here. To show them the moon raising. Buckshot also didn't say about how the princess had asked he if was going to raise cider later, after saying this Luna, Celestia, and Silver laughed while buckshot blushed looking down at his hooves.
"How did you find this place?" Rarity asked in awe from seeing the princess.
"We were on our royal duties and we saw this path and decided to climb it, it just so happened to be dusk so we saw Luna raising the moon." Silver said hoping they didn't question his lie.
"Its so beautiful." Rarity said, her eyes shining.
"Ya." Applejack said.
"Well hmm, the night is still young, we could go out somewhere..." Silver trailed off.
"Well where did you have in mind?" Rarity asked Silver smiling, it was a plan they had made before hoof, they both wanted to go out drinking. it would only take a little convincing, well probably not that much considering Buckshot and Applejack were up for anything.
"I was thinking Prim and Proper, but if you guys don't want to I mean that's fine." Silver answered.
Buckshot and Applejack looked at each other, both wanted to go, but they hoped they wouldn't end up like last time.

The two couples neared the club. Both were excited to come, Rarity had never exactly been to a club, always caught up in making dresses. While Applejack had gone to nearly ever club and bar in Ponyville.
"After you." Silver said opening the door for everypony.
"Why thank you my gentlecolt." Rarity said giving him a peck on the cheek.
Silver blushed, he was so glad he had a dark coat.
As all three walked in a pony called out to them.
"Hey look who's back!" Vinyl laughed as she ran over, "Its hot mare and Buckshot!"
"Hot mare?" Rarity asked giggling.
As Applejack glared at Rarity who was laughing, Octavia walked over.
Rarity stopped laughing as the mare walked over, "A-are you Octavia?!" Rarity asked.
"Hello, yes I am Octavia, nice to meet you." Octavia greeted shaking Rarity's hoof.
"I absolutely love your work! You are amazing on the cello!" Rarity said.
"Its always nice to meet a fan." Octavia said smiling.
While Rarity and Octavia talked, Vinyl began talking to Applejack.
"So," Vinyl said, "how are you at dancing?"
"Ah have two left hooves, not good." Applejack laughed.
"Would a few ciders clear that up?" Vinyl asked.
"They might, would they clear ya up Buckshot?" Applejack smiled.
"Oh, Ah think they will." Buckshot said grinning.
As the three walked over to the bar, Rarity and Octavia's conversation finished up.
"Well it was so nice meeting you Miss Rarity, we simply must do something together again." Octavia said.
"Oh yes, I would love to!" Rarity smiled.
As Octavia walked back to the stage, Silver looked over at Rarity.
"So what would you like to do, we could get a cider, dance, talk...." Silver asked.
"How about we," Rarity said nuzzling Silver's neck, "dance. But I must warn you, I'm not very good at it."
"That's alright," Silver replied taking her hoof and leading her to the dance floor, "it isn't hard."
Silver began to show Rarity the basics, moving your hooves back and forth, add a twirl, nothing too hard.
"So you mean like this?" Rarity asked doing a small shuffle as her legs shook a bit.
"Perfect!" Silver said steadying Rarity.
The two danced together as Applejack, Vinyl, and Buckshot were at the bar.
Applejack was on her fourth cider already, as much as she didn't want to get drunk again, she couldn't exactly help it. On her tenth cider she stopped as she began to wobble. Buckshot laughed as she wobbled having already consumed eleven. Applejack steadied herself and walked over to Buckshot laughing.
"We should go see Rar and Silver." She giggled.
"See ya later Vinyl!" Buckshot yelled to the passed out mare.

"Hayyyy Celestia!" Buckshot yelled.
The couples had left the club and were now in the castle. While Rarity and Silver were back at the house, Applejack and Buckshot were running around the castle laughing and playing. They had now approached the throne room where Celestia and Luna sat laughing and talking.
"Oh god," Celestia said pointing at Buckshot, "Its the cider queen."
Luna laughed pointing at Applejack, "It seems that she has brought a royal subject with her."
"Hey Celestia hey Lunaaaaaaa!" Applejack giggled, "Ah really like your manes!."
Applejack walked up to Luna staring at her mane, "So.... Wavy." She said entranced. Applejack put out a hoof to touch it and giggled as it waved.
Luna laughed along with Celestia at the farmer pony touching her mane. Luna made her mane move and tapped Applejack on the shoulder with it.
"It moves! Can Ah keep it?" Applejack said in awe, before running back to Buckshot, jumping around.
Buckshot laughed before falling over passed out along with Applejack.
"Well I suppose we should take them back to Silver's house." Luna said wiping tears from her eyes from laughing.
Both the princesses levitated the two earth ponies and carried them back to the house.
Meanwhile Rarity and Silver were laughing running around the house trying to catch each other. Just then a knock came from the door stopping them.
"Who could that be?" Silver said sarcastically thinking about Buckshot and AJ.
The door opened to reveal the two princesses, "Hello Silver, we believe that you seemed to have misplaced you friend." Celestia said as she showed a sleeping Buckshot.
"Let me guess," Silver laughed, "Cider queen?"
"Yep." Luna answered.

Scootaloo stayed close to Rainbow Dash as they walked out of the hospital. She was still scared, and why shouldn't she be? Did anypony even care about her anymore? She wouldn't be surprised if they didn't, this trip was supposed to be fun, she had ruined it.
Rainbow Dash stared down at the shaking filly. "Dear Celestia." She thought, "this kid, is tougher than anypony I could have imagined." Rainbow Dash looked back up. Scootaloo had been through way too much, the kid had been broken. The pieces began to fit in for Rainbow, the kid was scared, the kid was beyond that. The world had turned dark for her, her eyes had clouded over. The world was bleak, scary, it was a death wish for the young filly.
"Ok squirt," Rainbow Dash gulped, "we are going to go somewhere fun."
Scootaloo's lip trembled, should she trust her? What was the definition of fun anymore? Was it out playing? Or staying inside making sure you didn't get hurt? Scootaloo stood still, she could trust Rainbow Dash, she was like her mother, she would protect her. Make sure she stayed safe. Scootaloo nodded slowly and put on a fake smile.
"Ok I was thinking, maybe we could go get some lunch first." Rainbow Dash said pointing to a cafe.
They both walked into the cafe and sat down at a table for two. Soon the waiter came over.
"What would you both like?" The waiter asked.
"Uhm, a dandelion sandwich." Rainbow Dash said.
"Same." Scootaloo said.
Soon the waiter left and the two ponies were left to talk.
"So," Rainbow Dash said, "are you feeling any better?"
"My wing and ribs healed, I think my leg is fixed too." Scootaloo replied.
"Ok that's good, do you think you would be flying anytime soon? Or is it still too much?" Rainbow Dash asked hoping she hadn't brought up too heavy of a topic.
Scootaloo thought about it. She knew she could fly if she wanted to, she had done great up until... Something clicked inside Scootaloo, it wasn't her fault, it wasn't anyponies fault. The cloud had been defective, that's what the doctor had said. She just had to come to terms with it.
"Dash," Scootaloo asked, "can we go flying today? I really wanna see the Wonderbolt HQ."
Rainbow Dash's eyes widened, "A-are you sure?"
"Yeah I'm sure, I know I can do it." Scootaloo replied.
They both ate and went to the castle courtyard, where they had flown before. Rainbow stretched her wings and took into the air hovering above Scootaloo.
Scootaloo smiled up at Dash and flew into the air, flying up beside Rainbow Dash.
"Wow!" Rainbow Dash said, "Good job squirt."
"We haven't started flying yet, we're only hovering." Scootaloo said.
"Heheheh." Rainbow Dash said as Scootaloo flew up the path.
Scootaloo flew faster, she didn't care if she got hurt, she wanted to get rid of this stupid fear. She knew she could but she was still scared, what if the cloud defected again? What if, what if, what if, life wasn't about what ifs, life is doing, life is being strong even if you don't want to be, there is somepony who loves you out there and cares for you. Scootaloo wasn't going to waste that.
She flew up seeing the place where she had fallen, the cloud was gone, the trees below had a small chunk missing from them where she had hit.
"There," Rainbow Dash said distracting Scootaloo, "there's HQ."
Scootaloo looked up and flew to see the HQ, it was a large cloud in the shape of a dome with the Wonderbolt logo on top. Scootaloo flew faster too it and landed quickly on the clouds.
"Great job squirt!" Rainbow Dash said smiling.
"Thanks." Scootaloo said walking into the Headquarters with Dash. Scootaloo looked all around before a white pegasus with a yellow mane popped in front of her."
"Hiya! Im Surprise! Who are you?" Surprise said excitedly.
"I'm uhm, Scootaloo." Scootaloo replied.
"Well Scootaloo, are you friends with Rainbow Dash?" Surprise asked gesturing towards the Rainbow pegasus.
"Uhm well shes-" Scootaloo started unable to explain their relationship.
"I'm her adoptive mother." Rainbow dash said.
"W-what?" Scootaloo asked.
"Adoptive mother squirt, it isn't official but, damn, it might as well be." Rainbow said before realizing she had swore and threw her hooves over her mouth.
Scootaloo giggled as she walked over to Rainbow. This day was going great, the hospital was done, she wasn't going back!
"Hey Scoots c'mere." Rainbow Dash said pulling Scootaloo, "I want you to meet somepony."
"Who?" Scootaloo said.
"Me." A pegasus answered.
Scootaloo looked around trying to find where the voice had come from, she looked up only to see a Wonderbolt flying around in the air.
"S-Soarin'." Scootaloo gasped.
Soarin' was Scootaloo's idol right alongside Rainbow Dash, he had done nearly every trick in the book, he was captain of the stallions of the Wonderbolts, and he liked pie. Was there anything wrong with him?
"A little birdie told me somepony liked me." Soarin' said motioning towards Rainbow Dash. Who just whistled (or tried to) nonchalantly.
"Y-you're Soarin'." Scootaloo said still in awe.
"The one and only, why don't you meet the rest of the team." He said.
Soarin' began to point to the Wonderbolt as he named them, "That's Blaze, Fire Streak, Fleetfoot, High Winds, Lightning Streak, Misty, Rapidfire, Silver Lining, Surprise, and Wave Chill. And of course there's Spitfire."
"Hey you missed one." Rainbow Dash said.
"Hmmm nah, I think I got everypony." Soarin' said laughing.
"What about your new addition?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Oh her, she's not important." He said still laughing.
"Not important?" Rainbow Dash questioned, "Why don't you say that to her face?"
Soarin' walked up to Rainbow Dash smiling, "Not important."
"Well buddy, this not important mare isn't going to be seen with Soarin' tonight." Rainbow Dash said moving her hips side to side to mock him.
"You'll come back, I still have your Wonderbolt suit." Soarin' said.
"Shhhh! Not in front of the kid!" Dash hissed.
But Scootaloo was too excited to notice, a a purple lightning bolt with two wings on either side was on her flank, her cutie mark. It may have been a little late, but it was there.
"I DID IT!" Scootaloo screamed.

"Do I look ok?" Rainbow Dash aked turning around in her gown.
"Mom," Scootaloo said, "you look great don't worry."
"Easy for you to say! You have the perfect figure!" Dash laughed.
"It's not perfect, it just suits me well." Scootaloo smiled.
Here they were three years later, Rainbow Dash's wedding day, the lucky groom? Soarin'.
"Hey y'all, oh Rainbow ya look great!" Applejack said as she walked in, "Gosh darnit she's a kicker."
"Oooh!" Scootaloo smiled, "I wanna feel!" As Applejack sat down Scootaloo put her hoof on the expecting mare's stomach trying to feel the kick of the filly inside.
"How far along is she now?" Rainbow Dash asked as she zipped up the back of her dress.
"Eight months, she's comin' soon. We're naming her Appleseed, its tradition to name foals somethin' apple related." Applejack smiled proudly, her husband, Buckshot, had been so excited when he found out she was pregnant.
Rarity yawned as she walked in holding a small colt in her hands, "Little Flash Wind has been keeping me up all night, he never wants to sleep."
The little unicorn giggled in her arms as it chewed on the blanket it was wrapped in. He had the same markings as Silver Wind, a very light brown coat with darker markings and blue eyes just like Rarity's. His mane was a dark purple almost black with a small tint and it was styled between looking like both of his parents.
"Well how are Sweetie and Spike doing together?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Oh just great, they've been together lets see, hmm maybe two months." Rarity replied, gently swaying back and forth trying to get Flash to sleep.
"Oh well, the wedding is starting soon, bye mom, I'll be out there with Rumble." Scootaloo said walking out of the room.
"My my, Scootaloo is becoming quite the lady." Rarity smiled, "I remember when she was trying to climb trees for her cutie mark."
Rainbow Dash smiled, about a month after they had gotten home from Canterlot, Rainbow had adopted Scootaloo. It was inevitable considering the fact her father was put in jail and her mother had run off with a new stallion to Celestia knows where. Scootaloo had taken to calling Dash mom and had Soarin' as a fatherly figure.
"Ya, Ah can't believe Apple Bloom can buck her own trees now, it's just amazin'." Applejack said smiling.
The three mares, well three and one and a half walked out of the room and towards the room of which the wedding was being held. They were in Canterlot for the wedding, all of Rainbow's friends were there. Pinkie and Surprise were both together seated in the front row, those two were just about the perfect couple. Fluttershy sat with a stallion named Green Growth, a gardener she had met in the royal Canterlot gradens. Twilight sat resting her head on her coltfriend Comet Trail's shoulder.
Applejack walked over to Buckshot as they both sat. Rarity smiled as Flash finally fell asleep, Silver walked over nuzzling her. Scootaloo sat with Rumble laughing at another joke he had made, he planted a small kiss on her as they both turned their attention to the music starting to signify the starting of the wedding.
Soarin' stood smiling proudly at the front of the aisle while he waited for his fiance to appear. There was not a word for how long he had waited for this moment. From seeing her at the gala and the royal wedding, he knew she was the one, his special somepony.
As the music started everypony turned their attention to the doors that had just opened to reveal Rainbow Dash and her father. Rainbow Dash was wearing a beautiful dress made by Rarity, it was a nice white dress with gold lining and a small veil.
As the two walked down the aisle Rarity wiped her eyes smiling and Applejack smiled closed her eyes and laid her head on Buckshot's shoulder. Soon Celestia was speaking.
"Dearly beloved we are gathered her today..." Celestia spoke
"Soarin' do you take Rainbow Dash to be your wife?" Celestia asked.
"I do." Soarin' replied staring into Dash's eyes.
"And Rainbow Dash do you take Soarin' to be your husband?" Celestia asked.
"I do." Dash replied, her eyes watering.
"Then by the power vested in me, I know pronounce you pony and wife! You may kiss the bride!" Celestia announced.
As the two kissed, much applause sounded. The two smiled as they broke the kiss, looking into each other's eyes.

Reception
The reception was hosted by Pinkie Pie whom no doubt went all out on this party. The walls were decked out in every party favor imaginable.
Rainbow Dash smiled as she and Soarin' changed into their reception clothing. She walked over to him, all changed and put her hooves over his eyes.
"Guesssss whooo." She said smiling.
"I guess the only mare who was in the room with me." Soarin' replied laughing.
"Man you guessed it, how did you know?" Rainbow said before they both burst out laughing.
The two soon walked out smiling.
"Well there's the bride!" Pinkie yelled smiling.
The night was fun as the newly weds danced, ate cake, and drank cider (a little too much for Rainbow).
A small song began to play sung by none other than Twilight.
Love is in bloom!
As the two walked out to the carriage Rainbow Dash laughed, grabbed some flowers and threw them behind her head only to be caught by...
Scootaloo smiled at her mother's antics and didn't notice when the flowers landed in her hooves. When she did she was blushing and smiling. Rumble soon walked over and put an arm around her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Rainbow Dash smiled when she saw who caught the flowers as the carriage rode off.
