Sunset Shimmer is broken, abandonded, and ends it all, but when she wakes up 100 years later, she must stop the Darkness she was supposed to defeat.
Sunset Shimmer has lost the will to live after Anon-A-Miss has turned the entire school, including her friends, against her. However, things dont go her way as she wakes up to find her world in ruin's, and must now defeat the evil that she was supposed to defeat 100 years ago, all while proving to her old friends and the remaining human's she has changed.
ok, so Ive recently been reading abunch of stories where Sunset gets pushed to the edge in the comic (we all know the one) and I wanted to do a story going into it, but... since Im a crossover guy, this is how I went with it. (would you believe a big part of how i typed this was thanks to PBG's song "Open Your Eyes"?) so hope you guys enjoy it, and probs to me for actually trying to type a story with fucking dead pixels everywhere so if you guys see any typo's or spelling errors or something, let me know so I can attempt to fix it.

Sunset cried as she sat in her apartment. She had just returned from Sugar Cube Corner trying to talk to her friends, but they refused to listen to her. They refused to believe she wasn’t this Anon-A-Miss that has been on MyStable for the past few days. She remembered what Canterlot High said to her while she walked through the halls. She-Demon. Bitch. Monster. Whore. And many more unpleasant names. But it hurt more hearing her friends call her those names. They told her to stay away from them or else. Sunset cried before them and left, telling them not to worry. Sunset looked down at her phone knowing full well none of her friends would text her. It didn’t matter. After tonight, she wont have to worry about them anymore. Sunset stood up and went to her kitchen grabbing a knife. She looked down at the blade in her hands and sighed before taking the blade to her wrists and begun.
“Open your eyes”
Sunset slowly opened her eyes as she sat up. “Wha… what happened?” She asked no one in particular as she sat up and looked around. She was no longer in her apartment from the looks of it. Instead she seemed to be in some sort of basement. She looked where she sat and noticed she was sitting in some kind of liquid. She climbed out of it and looked at her wrists. No cuts. “Didn’t I just try to…” She asked before noticing she was only in her underwear. “Where are my clothes?” she asked, no abit upset. She turned around to plain old shirt and pair of pants sitting on what appeared to be an old dresser. Sighing, she put them on only to notice a note fall to the floor.
She leaned down and picked it up reading, “Hope these fit you when you awake.” Setting the note down, she looked around until her eyes fell back to the paper. “did someone expect me to be here?” sighing figuring she wouldn’t be getting any answers, she noticed a hole in the wall on the other side of the chamber and made her way over. Climbing up, she looked around the room she was now in, only to notice this was her apartment, but in ruin. “What is going on here?” she asked before frowning and giving a sigh. “How many question’s am I gonna have to ask before I finally get an answer…” she said before walking over to the window. What she saw threw her for a loop. “No… that cant be…” She turned and ran for the roof of the apartment. As she burst out the door, she skidded to a halt and gasped. The neighborhood, No… The entire city of Canterlot… Was in ruin’s! “I…. I gotta be dreaming… Ya, that’s it.” She said only for a voice to be heard.
“Sunset…. You are the light… Our light! At one point in your life you were supposed to defend us, but you were no longer there. The world needs you to shine for us before the Calamity strikes…” Sunset blinked at what she heard.
“Me? The light?” she looked down at her wrists where she cut herself. “How can I be the light?” she asked turning around.
Sunset made her way out of the neighborhood towards Canterlot High. Maybe she could get some answer’s there. As she walked up to the building, she stopped remembering how her fellow students acted to her. Her hands formed fists and she breathed. “No… I have to find out what happened…” She said and continued to the school. She entered the building and made her way to the principal’s office. She knocked on the door only for it to fall over. Suddenly she heard the sound of someone scrambling around.
“Get back Demons! We wont go down that-“ Said a clocked woman as she stood in front of the doorway with a pocket knife. “Who are you?” she asked slowly lowering her weapon. Sunset blinked at her and looked around.
“Where’s Principal Celestia?” she asked. As the woman finally lowered her defense’s with a puzzled look.
“Celestia? She hasn’t worked here in 100 year’s child.” Sunset blinked at the woman.
“Did you say… 100 years?” The woman nodded and sat at the chair.
“She left shortly after she found out one of her student’s commited suicide thanks’ to the actions of this ‘Anon-A-Miss’ person..” Sunset gasped at what she was told.
“Who was the student?” she asked only to hear a sound. She spun around only to see something standing at the door. “What is that?” She screamed leaping back. The creature stood on two legs, was blue and black, and had horn’s on its head with what looked like bat wing’s on its back, though they pretty much looked useless.
She heard the woman shout at her and turned as she was holding a sword in her hand. “CATCH!” she said throwing the blade at Sunset. Somehow, she grabbed the blade by the handle and with the momentum the blade carried, she used it to spin herself around and slice the monster through its chest. She gasped at what she did as blood flew everywhere from it. However, all it did was just make the monster angrier as it charged at her. Sunset, without really thinking, charged at it as well, holding the blade out as she stabbed the beast through the heart. She drew the blade back as the beast roared in pain before falling to the ground dead. Sunset begun breathing heavily as she turned to the woman.
“WHAT WAS THAT?” she asked loudly as the woman walked forward and looked at the beast.
“That… was a demon from the pits of hell… Where have you been? Everyone still alive knows that.” Sunset blinked at what she just heard and turned to the demon.
She turned back to the woman and said, “what was the student’s name?” she asked the woman.
The woman returned to her table and looked at the paper’s. “Her name was Sunset Shimmer.” Sunset frowned and stepped forward to see if this woman knew about who the student’s claimed her to be.
“What did you know about her?” she asked. The woman frowned and looked at the paper’s of the girl.
“She had a rough start here, being the queen Alpha-Bitch… But after the Fall Formal, she changed. She tried to be a new person, but few people gave her a chance, only for those few people to leave her… We were traumatized when we found out she had took her own life.” The woman said trying to hide the tears under her hood. Sunset placed her hand on the woman’s shoulder. The woman looked up at her as the light from outside came in from the window, allowing her to finally get a better look at her.
“You said ‘we’… did you know her?” Sunset said as she tried to hold back her tears. The woman nodded and stood up.
“I was once one of her friends… if I could go back and take back what I said…” She said as Sunset gave a soft smile.
“It’s ok… I forgive you.” She said causing the woman to blink.
“Wait… your Sunset Shimmer?” She asked. Sunset nodded and stepped into the light seeping in through the blinds on the window. She gasped and took a step back. “No… that can’t be… I saw what we had done… I helped bury you…” she exclaimed in fear before turning around taking deep breaths.
“who are you?” Sunset asked stepping towards her. The woman finally sighed and removed her hood, causing Sunset to gasp at what she saw. Rainbow hair. The woman turned around and gave a small but hurt smile. “It’s me Sunset… Im Rainbow Dash…”
Rainbow Dash walked out onto the roof of the school with Sunset following close behind carrying the sword Rainbow tossed her from earlier. “Wait, how have you been alive for this long?” Sunset asked as she stood next to her old friend. Rainbow turned to her and sighed pointing to a structure far to the north.
“It’s complicated… Lets just say the past 100 years haven’t been pleasant… ever since that…” she pointed ahead. Sunset turned towards where Rainbow was pointing and squinted. There, out in the distance, was what appeared to be a massive tower.
“Where did that come fr-“ She asked only for Rainbow Dash to hold her hand up. Suddenly she saw what appeared to be a massive ozzing cloud to appear from the ground, only for a figure to appear out of it. “WHAT IS THAT?” Sunset screamed stepping back. Rainbow Dash sighed and turned to her old friend.
“That is the Calamity Sparkle…She originally was our world’s Twilight Sparkle before she was corrupted by magic and became Midnight Sparkle. She destroyed everything in her path, soon bringing the entire world to ruin… However, she lost a lot of energy doing so and made that tower to regain her energy.” Sunset looked at what was at one point a normal human.
“Do you think… there’s still a piece of her old self still trapped in there?” she asked Rainbow Dash. Rainbow hung her head down and shook her head.
“When she destroyed the world, she opened the gates of Hell… quite literally, and sized control of the armies of hell, trapping their king and taking the whore queen to be her servant… “ Rainbow said to which Sunset blinked at the last part.
“wait… she really did that?” she asked to which Rainbow nodded and went back down stairs with Sunset close behind.
“You still didn’t explain how your still alive 100 years later.” She said as they returned to Dash’s office. Rainbow sat down in her chair and sighed.
“Midnight Sparkle was created after Twilight Sparkle was corrupted by magic… where do you think the magic came from?” She asked as Sunset sat in front of her. “Twilight got the magic from me and the other girls…. After she became the Calamity Sparkle, she latched onto us and has been draining our magic from us for years, and since our magic will return to us over time, she forces our bodies to stay alive…” Rainbow finished head hung low.
Sunset frowned and said, “So… your pretty much her batteries?” Rainbow looked up and frowned.
“No… at least… Im not…. Not to the extent that the other’s are… She sent hoard’s of demons after the other girls and captured them, placed them in four different cities, and strapped them down so they couldn’t escape, and feed’s off them…”
Sunset gasped at what she heard and asked, “what about you?”
Rainbow chuckled and turned around. “I wont go down that easily… Shortly after she came into power, I signed up for a military unit called 'The C.O.G. I was trained on how to defend myself and other’s… however, by the time I found out the girls were in danger, it was to late… they were gone. I had failed my friends… just like how I failed you…” she said lowering her head in shame. Sunset gently took Rainbow’s hand in hers causing Rainbow to look up.
“Im here now… I don’t understand how, but I am. Now tell me how I can help.”
Rainbow gave a soft smile and got to her feet. “We need to cut Sparkle off from draining the magic from the other’s. It will weaken her allowing for us to take her down once and for all…” She said causing Sunset to blink in confusion.
“Wait… what about the magic she drain’s from you? How is she doing it to you if you’re not captured?” She asked as Rainbow moved her hair on the back of her head away revealing a device there.
“This has been draing it from me. They managed to slap this on me when they attempted a capture. Its not as powerful since it never got plugged up to what they have where I was supposed to go after being captured, but as long as it drain’s me, Sparkle never cared. Thing is, I cant take it off without going to that city, and they will capture me almost immediately… And Id rather my friends be safe before I am freed…” She said proudly at the end. Sunset nodded and put her hand on the adult’s shoulder.
“Then Ill go and free our friends… It’s the least I can do after the pain I put you all through.” She said with a determined look. Rainbow nodded and opened a drawer in the desk.
“Then you might need a better outfit than that. Clothes like that are bound to not withstand the trials ahead of you.” She said as she pulled out a shirt with what appeared to be her cutie mark designed into the shoulder’s, with the image of a blade in the middle, a scabbard and belt for her sword, a hood, a mask and goggles, some arm and leg guards, and a new pair of pants with some funky design’s on them. “Go get suited up. You’ve got a long road ahead of you.”
Sunset walked out onto the street fully dressed and looked towards the center of Canterlot. Rainbow Dash walked over beside her and crossed her arms. “You’ve got a long journey ahead of you Sunset… You know that, right?” she asked as Sunset nodded stretching her hands in her gloves. “In the center of town is the prison of the Demon King. Despite the fact it’s the last thing we should ever do, you need to free him.” Sunset turned at Rainbow Dash confused.
“Why do I have to free him exactly?” she asked as Rainbow Dash frowned.
“He used to be close to Calamity Sparkle. However, she betrayed him and sealed him away. Im sure He will be willing to assist you in your quest.” Rainbow told her. Sunset nodded and begun to head out only for Rainbow to stop her. “Wait… your gonna need this.” She said handing her a shield. “With how dangerous it is out there, and your limited sword training, your gonna be using this a lot.” Sunset gave a nod and strapped the shield onto her back. Rainbow then handed her a little touch screen phone.
“What this for?” Sunset asked looking at it.
“It’s a phone from 100 years ago. I modified it to use it like a pair of binoculars and a map of the area around you. Im sure you can find other ways to use it as well.” Sunset nodded and clipped it to her scabbard belt and got ready to set out once more only for Rainbow to stop her. “Sunset…. Good luck” Rainbow said with a pause. Sunset thought it looked like Rainbow was hiding something but shrugged it off and nodded, finally leaving.
Sunset climbed over the rubble of a building and looked around. “I still cant believe all this happened…” She muttered as she rounded a corner. She stopped when she saw a couple of Demons arguing with each other as a small group of humans were cowering between them. Sunset frowned and pulled out the phone Rainbow gave her and opened the binoculars mode. Looking at the humans, she coulda sworn she thought it was some of her old students, but older. She put the phone away and got up, making her way closer. She accidentally kicked a rock causing one of the Demons to hear it and turned around, spotting her and screaming for the others to notice her.
She gulped and pulled out her sword and shield as they ran towards her. “Here goes nothing…” She muttered and dodged one of the Demon’s axes before swinging her sword, hitting it in the shoulder and cutting its arm off. It screamed in pain as she swung her shield into its mouth before leaping back as a second Demon attempted to grab her she then spun around and sliced a third Demon, cutting its horns off. However all this seemed to do was piss it off as it charged at her swinging its ax like crazy. Sunset threw her shield up managing to have the ax bounce off, stunning it. She then leaped into the air and swung her blade down, cutting the Demon’s chest open, blood and organs spilling out as it fell.
Suddenly she was kicked to the ground as the second Demon grinned standing over her and raised it’s ax to cut her in half. Sunset however swung her leg’s around knocking it over and leaped to her feet, forcing her shield onto it’s head, crushing it instantly. She then turned to the first Demon still screaming about it’s arm. She returned her weapons to where she had them and picked up one of the axes and threw it at it’s chest, impaling it. Sunset walked forward and put her foot on it’s chest and grabbed the ax, yanking it out killing it finally.
She sighed and looked around her. “I cant believe I did that…” She muttered before turning to the humans. “I better check on them.” She added and walked over. The humans, two women, were still cowering in fear with their eye’s closed showing they saw nothing. “Hey, are you two ok?” Sunset asked leaning down to them. They slowly opened their eye’s and gasped not at the Demon’s dead, but at who saved them.
“S-Sunset?” one of the women, with blue and pink hair and yellow skin, asked. Sunset nodded and offered her hands to them. Both of them slid away from her and stood up.
“Well Bon-Bon, I guess this just proves that Sunset Shimmer is still as rotten as ever.” The second woman, with minty like hair and green skin, said causing Sunset to take a step back.
“What do you mean?” She asked as Bon-Bon nodded at her friend before turning back to Sunset.
“Lyra’s right. You think it’s funny to let people think your dead?” she said pointing angrily at Sunset. Sunset stepped forward and grabbed Bon-Bon’s arm.
“Why would I-“ She began only to stop as her mind’s eye saw something new.
“I can’t believe She actually did that…” Bon-Bon said sitting in the Gym as Principle Celestia was talking about the news. Apparently Sunset Shimmer, the student who everyone had claimed to be “Anon-A-Miss, had taken her own life two weeks ago. What no one could believe was that it took so long for someone to find out about her. Even her supposed friends didn’t really seem to of cared that she wasn’t there for those two weeks. The school had only heard the news about it after Sunset’s land lord had called the school after her neighbor’s complained about the smell coming from her apartment.
“I know” Lyra said as she wiped her eyes, “I thought for sure she was the one… but for to take her own life…” She broke out into a new set of tears as Bon-Bon hugged her friend.
Sunset let go of Bon-Bon’s arm and shook her head as they looked at her weird.
“I honestly thought nobody would care that I was gone…” She said with sorrow in her voice. The two friends looked at Sunset confused.
“You mean… you actually did it?” Lyra asked slowly. Sunset nodded slowly.
“I was at an all time low. Everyone hated me, including my friends… so I slit my wrists… next thing I knew, I was waking up underneath my apartment building in a strange pool and my cuts healed.” Sunset said . Lyra and Bon-Bon looked at her face and saw the truth.
“Sunset were so- LOOK OUT! ”Lyra shouted as aan other Demon, this one looking more like a skeleton, sprung from the ground. Instantly Sunset’s face went from sad to serious as she drew her blade out and spun around, knocking its rib cage out, before pulling her shield out and knocking its head off. The Skeleton began wander around aimlessly as the head kept trying to guide it over to it before noticing Sunset standing over it sword facing down. If it could gulp, it would of as Sunset stabbed it right between the eye’s, having it explode to piece’s. The skeleton’s body suddenly collapsed with its brain gone, its bones turning to dust. The girls looked at where the head was and back to Sunset who was returning her equipment to where she had it.
“you… saved us?” Bon-Bon asked in shock.
Sunset nodded and turned around. “You better get out of here before more come for you.” She said before she continued on her mission.
Sunset had been making her way by foot for an hour now and was growing frustrated. “Where the hell is this stupid prison?” She asked before sitting down on the hood of a damaged car and pulled out her phone. Checking the map, she soon noticed the prison was just a few blocks away. She put it away and climbed up a nearby building to get a better view. Once there, she pulled out the phone again and scanned around to see some kind of ring in the center of town where the mayor’s office used to be.
“Guess that’s where he is.” She muttered and leapt down, rolling into a jog. She soon reached it and scanned the area. She frowned at the spotting of a much larger demon covered in armor stomping around. “That must be his guard…” she muttered to herself and pulled down her goggles as she scanned his body over for a weak point. She pulled up her hood and mask and drew her sword and shield and made her way in. The Demon stopped stomping around when it heard a new set of footsteps and turned to see a girl making her way to him.
The Demon laughed and drew its weapon. “Little Girl, what do you intend to do here?” He asked with a dark chuckle. Sunset frowned and got into a fighting position.
“Im here for an audience with your prisoner.” She said boldly. The Demon just laughed and swung his sword.
“Id like to see you try.” He growled. Sunset finished scanning him as his weak point was revealed.
“I wont need to try.” She said with confidence and got ready for battle. The Demon growled and swung his blade down, only for Sunset to raise her shield. However, the blow knocked her back a few feet toward the edge of the ring and looked behind her where lava was oozing around the arena. “Great… no pressure.” She said before facing her opponent. She charged at him only for him to swing his blade down again. This time, Sunset leaped to the side as the blade crashed down, only to leap back onto the sword and ran up his arm before swinging at his back, knocking him forward. The Demon rolled forward abit before standing back up and roared at her.
“I WILL TAKE YOUR HEAD!” it screamed at her before swinging his arm and summoning five Demon’s she fought earlier and ordered them to attack her. Sunset gripped her sword and pulled it close to her. She waited til they all closed in before she leaped up, swinging her sword and hitting every one of them, before swinging down, using the impact to knock them all down, killing them. The Leader roared and charged at her. Sunset charged as well before sliding underneath his feet and leaping onto his back stabbing him repeatedly. The stabs injured the Demon badly and force him to drop his sword. Sunset leaped down and grabbed his weapon, before swinging it around and slicing his head clean off. Sunset dropped the weapon and panted, never having to use that much strength before.
“I sure wish there were some strength increasing equipment, otherwise Ill hurt myself trying stuff like that…” She said before walking forward. She noticed there was a lever sitting to the side and walked over, pulling it. She watched as blood began to pour to the center as the circles began to glow. She returned to the center as it opened up, and a large clawed hand emerged from below. Sunset stepped back as the Demon pulled itself out.
“So… someone decided to show some heart for me…” he said with a growl before looking at his rescuer and smiled. “Hello Sunset Shimmer” he said shocking her.
“You know me?” she asked in surprise. The Demon nodded and walked around her.
“Oh yes, I am well aware of who you are. After all, I was most thrilled by your actions at the Fall Formal.” He said with a grin causing Sunset to frown in shame at being reminded of the Fall Formal. “Oh don’t give me that girl. You stand before The Demon King, Samael. Do show some bravery or you might not survive your trial’s up ahead.” He growled.
Sunset looked up at him and asked, “You already know why I came?” Samael nodded and sat on the side of the arena.
“Indeed Sunset. In fact, you could say I know a great deal about you, more than even you know.” He said.
Sunset stepped forward and replied, “So you know why and how I came back to life?”
Samael nodded and pointed towards the Tower. “100 years ago, you were destined to stop Midnight Sparkle at the Friendship Games. However, thanks to some students I never got a chance to punish, you took your own life, and Midnight took over the world, becoming the Calamity Sparkle. You were brought back to be given a second chance and defeat her.” He said crossing his arms.
“What about the pool I woke up in?” She asked.
Samael frowned and said, “Im afraid that I have no knowledge of. You will have to seek out those who serve the light to find out about that.” Sunset sighed and nodded. Samael got up and walked towards the other side of the arena and pointed. “There you will find one of your friends trapped in the ruins of Manehatten. The road there is treacherous, and at your current state, you wouldn’t make it without taking a swim in lava.”
Sunset gulped at the thought and asked. “Do you have any suggestions?”
Samael grinned and turned towards her. “I suppose I can grant you some power to help you reach the city.” He stepped forward and breathed into her face, only for her to be thrown into the air as a pair of demon wing’s burst out from her back.
“GAH!” She screamed looking at them. “WHAT DID YOU DO?” she screamed as Samael chuckled sitting back down.
“Do you remember these? You once had them when you turned into a demon. I’ve simply returned them to you for your mission. With these, you should be able to fly across the lava, if only temporarily.” He said with a chuckle. Sunset landed back on the ground as her new wings folded up and hid behind her shield. “Now then, before you go, I have a deal for you…” Samael said with a growl and stepped towards her. “There are four guardians who will stand before you and your friends. I want you to bring me their hearts. Do this, and I will grant you knew abilities to be able to save your other friends and stand up to the Calamity.”
Sunset frowned and replied, “I don’t get a choice in this, do I?”
Samael chuckled and sat back down. “No, you don’t. Not if you want to save everyone.” He said darkly. Sunset sighed and turned around to leave. “Oh, one last thing girl… How do you suppose you were able to see into that girl’s mind? Must be some new kind of magic” Samael said causing her to spin around.
“You know about that?” she asked causing Samael to chuckle.
“I told you, I know a great deal about you. Now get moving.”
Sunset leaped over a massive pit of Lava as she used her new wings to fly right over it. “Gotta admit, never thought Id actually like these demon wings.” She said landing inside an old subway tunnel. Folding them away, she turned and saw a lit fire in a trash can further in the tunnel with some people standing next to it. Sunset walked forward pulling her hood, goggles, and mask down and stepped by the fire. The group standing around it turned to the newcomer and gasped at who they saw.
“Sunset Shimmer?” An older man with red skin and orange hair asked looking at her. Sunset nodded as the group slide away.
“We thought you were dead!” a man with blue hair and yellow skin exclaimed as a woman with black hair and gray skin turned to him and said, “Maybe she still is and she’s one of those Zombies walking around…” Sunset frowned and stepped forward.
“Do I LOOK like I’m a zombie?” she said with a hint of anger in her voice. The trio looked abit stunned and calmed down abit.
“That still doesn’t explain how your alive.” The Blue haired man said.
Sunset sighed and nodded. “I did die one hundred years ago, but was recently brought back to defeat The Calamity…. Like, about five hours ago.”
The older man frowned and stepped forward. “That cant be true.” He said making a fist. “Your just a demon in disguise!” He said with rage getting ready to hit her only for Sunset to stop his fist with her palm only for her mind’s eye to open again.
Big Mac was walking forward carrying a casket with Flash Sentry, Bulk Biceps, and Rainbow Dash. Big Mac looked up at the sky as it was beginning to cry.
‘Why does every time there is a funeral it has to rain?” He thought to himself as they brought the casket to the hole dug out for Sunset. They set her to the side as Celestia begun to talk about Sunset Shimmer. He still couldn’t believe Sunset Shimmer actually took her life. Sure ya, he thought she was Anon-A-Miss like everyone else, but after awhile he had begun to think it over on how the MyStable page was set up to look like Sunset had done it. Big Mac then saw how she had fallen apart in the hall’s after her friends, his sister included, abandoned her. He had planned to talk to Applejack on it that night and to apologize to Sunset the next day. However, he never got the chance. She never showed up to school the next week, or the week after. Then she was announced to have killed herself. Big Mac came back to reality as it was time to put her to rest. They lifted her up and lowered her in the hole. Big Mac looked up and saw Rainbow Dash crying. Big Mac felt abit proud. Not that she was hurt, but that she was the only friend that had offered to be a poll barer. Even at losing her friend, and had realized she had fucked up badly, she still remained loyal to her.
Sunset let go of Big Mac’s fist and looked at him.
“Why didn’t you talk to me first before going to Applejack?” she asked causing Big Mac to blink.
“How did you know about that?” he asked as she looked at her hands.
“I don’t know… I just touched you and suddenly I could see your memories.”
Big Mac nodded just accepting it and replied, “I figured she was my actual family and that she needed to be put in her place. I thought you were strong enough that you would last til next week… but that didn’t happen.”
Sunset frowned and gave him a hug to which he returned. Flash stepped forward and said, “we were all upset over your death. We all felt guilty and even tried to make a memorial to remember you… Sadly thanks to the Calamity, its been wiped out…” He said sitting next to his guitar. “Octavia here even played for the service…”
Sunset turned to Octavia and gave a soft smile. "I bet it sounded nice.” She said to which Octavia nodded.
“It was. I wish I could let you hear it, but I had lost the music sheet’s long ago and my memory of it has been lost out of having to run and hide all the time.” Sunset patted her shoulder and smiled.
“It’s ok. It probably wouldn’t of been smart to play anyways thanks to the Demon’s everywhere.” She said as Octavia nodded.
“So what’s with the get up?” Flash asked looking Sunset up and down.
“Rainbow Dash’s idea. She said the way I was dressed when I met her wouldn’t last long against what all is out there. I honestly don’t get the design though.” She said looking at her shirt and pants.
“Well it looks cool none the less. Especially dig the goggles and hood. Really adds a waste lander feel to it, which since were living in one, makes sense.” Flash added with a slight chuckle.
Sunset chuckled and shrugged. “I guess. Well… I have to make my way to Manehatten now. Do you guys know the way?” She said as Big Mac nodded and pointed down the tunnel.
“Keep heading that way and you should find a hole leading to Manehatten.” He said.
Octavia stepped forward and asked, “Did Rainbow Dash by chance give you a map?” Sunset nodded and pulled out the phone she was given.
“May I see it?” Octavia asked holding her hand out. Sunset nodded and handed it over. Octavia opened the map function and sighed. “Just as I thought. She only had a map of the area around the school. Here, come with me real quick.” She said and stepped into an old subway car. Sunset followed as Octavia was hooking her phone up to a computer downloading something. A minute later she handed the phone back to her.
“Open your map now.” She said. Sunset nodded and did so. She noticed there were now a new layer to the map under Canterlot high. “I just added the subway tunnels to your map. With this you should be able to navigate your way down here much easier.” Octavia said as Sunset smiled and put the phone away.
“Thank you. She said.
Octavia nodded and turned back to the computer. “When you get to other villages ask them to update your map for you. That way your never lost.” Sunset nodded and tirned to leave.
Flash stepped forward as she leaped out of the train car and hugged her. “It was great seeing you again Sunset.” He said with a smile.
Sunset nodded with a smile and said, “Likewise Flash. It was great seeing all of you. I just wish people don’t hate me like Lyra and Bon-Bon did…” she sighed as Big Mac patted her on the back.
“Unfortunately, you died at a time everyone had negative thoughts about you… so it will take some convincing on your part to change their minds.” He said with a frown. Sunset nodded and readjusted her gear.
“Guess I better get going. Thank you once again!” she said before jogging down the tunnel.
Sunset turned the corner and spotted where Big Mac said the entrance to Manehatten was. She made her way there only to spot two guard’s standing next to the entrance. As Sunset approached, she noticed they didn’t look like Demon’s as they had angelic wings on their backs while covered in some pretty bulky and regal armor. Suddenly one of them noticed her and spun its sword at her.
“HALT!” he said with a frown.
Sunset raised her hands in defense and said, “Im here looking for my friends. I was told one of them was in Manehatten.”
The second guard stomped forward and leaned down to her. “So what? Manehatten is off limits to you She-Demon.” Sunset took a step back at the name but regained her composure.
“Im no longer that girl.” She said confidently. The guards stood there for a few seconds before busting out laughing.
“Oh really? Then explain the wings on your back and the freeing of Samael!” the first guard said. Sunset was taken aback by the comment and sighed.
”I was told Samael was the only one that could help me face the Calamity Sparkle. He granted me my old demon wings back so I could make my way here. He said one of my friends was trapped here.” She said looking up at the guard who slowly frowned at the story.
“I see…” he turned around and waved for her to follow him.
They stepped into the city as Sunset looked around her at the ruined city. Everywhere around her windows were smashed, a majority of the buildings destroyed, and the entire sky was covered in ash. She also noticed spray painted everywhere was a red cog with a skull in the middle. The Guard stopped causing her to run into him. “Sorry got distracted.” She said. The Guard frowned but nodded and pointed ahead.
“Up there is a military function called ‘The C.O.G.’. They were formed shortly after the Calamity started. They can help you reach the Church where Lady Applejack is held captive.” He said as Sunset stepped forward.
“So Applejack was brought here…” she muttered as the guard nodded.
“She wouldn’t go in without a fight, and normally she would of broke free in mere seconds, however, she has lost her connection to her magic after your death.” He said to which Sunset turned to him.
“How did yo-“ She asked only to get interrupted. “Were Angel’s. We see a great deal.” Sunset nodded and turned towards were he pointed.
“I swear Ill free my friends and stop the Calamity.” She said stepping forward only to stop and turn around. “Hey, do you kno-“ she started to ask only to see the Angel go back into the tunnel. “Guess Ill ask later.” She muttered before heading into the village.
Sunset walked slowly into the city as the sun was setting. She looked around as she saw what remained of the human’s in this city as they clung together for warmth near lit trash cans and old furnaces. She noticed that the same red gear with a skull spray spray painted was on every building. Sunset walked over to a civilian, a young boy trying to get an old Chimpokomon game to work, and tapped his shoulder. The boy turned around and looked at her cross.
“Can I help you?” he asked abit annoyed. Sunset pointed to the symbol and asked,
“Can you tell me what that means?” The boy almost busted out laughing.
“Where the heck have you been lady? That’s the symbol of the C.O.G. Unit. They control this city, those jerk’s…” He said spitting at the symbol.
Sunset gave a confused look and asked, “I have a friend that said she had joined a team called the C.O.G.. Why would you hate them?”
“Because those bastard’s couldn’t do their damn job in stopping the Calamity.” A voice from behind Sunset said. Sunset spun around to see a woman with cream skin and brown hair stand there. The woman leaned to the side and looked at the boy and said, “Go inside Button.” Button nodded and ran into a building as she returned her focus to Sunset. “As I was saying, they were formed with one task, stop the Calamity and whatever was infected by it. Unfortunately, they picked a fucking moron to lead, and instead of stopping her, he let her continue. He said he couldn’t harm her. Nobody know’s why, but everyone hates him for it. At least he let his unit take down any of the infected human’s, called Locasts, whenever they try to enter the city, so at least their good for something.” Sunset crossed her arms and looked at the symbol.
“I need to talk with their leader then.” She said and turned to the woman. “Which way do I go?” The woman frowned and pointed to a nearby building. “That’s C.O.G. Central. Don’t see why they would listen to you though.”
Sunset walked up to the building and closed her fists as she made her way to the door. Suddenly a voice came over the intercom. “”HAULT! No trespassing!” Sunset looked up and saw a camera.
“Im here to speak to your boss concerning the Calamity and some info on the Church my friend is held captive in.” She said with fire in her eyes. There was a silence before the voice came back.
“You were… friends with Lady Applejack?” Sunset nodded. “…. Who are you?”
She pointed to herself and exclaimed, “I am Sunset Shimmer, The one destined to defeat the Calamity Sparkle!” The silence returned until the door unlocked and slide open.
“Come on in Miss Shimmer.” The voice said finally. Sunset nodded and made her way in. She looked around and saw men and women around her hard at work. Some of them she recognized, but a lot of them she didn’t. Guessing that had to do with it being Manehatten and she had never been outside of Canterlot until now. She noticed some of them were carrying massive guns with what appeared to be chainsaw’s attached to them. She frowned and made her way to the front desk. The man behind the desk stood up and looked her up and down.
“So Miss Shimmer, what makes you think your up to take on the Calamity?” He asked, his voice matching the one outside on the intercom. Sunset sighed and told him her story thus far. The man, with all his bulk, nodded and turned to the PDA. “Mr. Armor, there is someone here to see you.” He said. A voice came through a few seconds later. “Ugh… Send them up.” It said sounding unhappy. The man turned to her and pointed to an elevator. “Fifth floor.” She nodded and went over and hit the button.
The Elevator doors opened as Sunset stepped out into the office. Mr. Armor was sitting in a chair facing the other way polishing a gun.
“So another citizen has come here to complain to me about not stopping the Calamity…” He said taking Sunset back abit.
“No tha-“ She started to say only for him to spin around.
“Well Im sorry, but I just cant…. Wait, who are you?” He asked now noticing he never seen Sunset before in his life. Sunset cleared her throat and stepped forward to him.
“My name is Sunset Shimmer. I came to you for knowledge about the Great Calamity and about the Church my friend is held in.” She said. Mr. Armor leaned back abit and folded his hands together.
“Pray tell, why would you need that kind of info?” he said spinning around.
Sunset sighed and said, “Youll think it sounds like Im an egomaniac, but I can stop the Calamity.” Mr. Armor spun around again and looked at her.
“Your right, that does sound like an egomaniac. What makes you so sure YOU can do it?” he asked with interest.
“Because… according to Samael, I was supposed to Defeat Midnight Sparkle 100 years ago, but failed to show up for the moment.” She said.
Armor slowly stood up and asked, “Why didn’t you show up?”
Sunset looked away and frowned. “I had taken my own life…” Mr. Armor blinked and shook his head.
“Girl, we don’t have time for sick jokes. Your wasting my time.” He said getting ready to sit down until Sunset grabbed his hand. “What are you doing kid?” He snapped at her.
“Trying something new.” She said and focused closing her eyes. Mr. Armor suddenly saw into her mind and saw a young woman sitting alone in a corner, alone, hated, and with no reason to care anymore. He saw a knife, then blood, then a body laying there. He soon realized it was indeed the same girl standing before him. Meanwhile Sunset saw into his mind and saw the reason he didn’t stop the Calamity.
Mr. Armor pulled up to the marry’s office and leapt out of the jeep. He had gotten a hint at the monster that had taken his little sister a few days ago, and had assembled his squad to get her back and end this nightmare.
“Alright unit, get in position’s! When this thing shows up I want to make it beg for its life!” He yelled at his troops as he pulled out his Lancer. After everyone was set, they waited. They didn’t have to wait for long as the front door’s to the office were blasted off their hinges, landing on their jeep. “READY!” He screamed. Everyone pulled their guns up as footstep’s were heard. “AIM!” Everyone got into an aiming stance as the figure stepped out into the open. Before Mr. Armor could shout the command, the Figure shouted it for him.
“FIRE!” She said as beams of energy shot from her hands and into Mr. Armor’s troops. He watched as they all fell over onto the ground, their heart’s stopped. He looked at the woman standing before him and gasped. She was purple, dark Purple, with wings as black as the night on her back, her hair stood up, almost radiating with pure power. Her dress was looked like it was sowed by demons. And she had a jagged horn growing out of her forehead with firey like glasses over her eyes, which also glowed with pure power. But what got him was that her hair was almost like his little sister’s.
“Who are you?” He asked as she walked closer to him, laughing.
“Oh how sad, Little Shinning Armor wants his baby sister back, doesn’t he?” She said with glee. He was taken aback at the mention of his name.
“How do you know me?” He said aiming his lancer. She laughed sickly and gently grabbed the gun.
“Oh, I know a great deal about you…. After all…. We are B.B.B.F.F.’s aren’t we?” She said teasingly.
Shinning Armor frowned and rose a fist. “You… Your NOT Twilight!” He said getting ready to throw it only for her to stop him.
“Oh, but I AM Twilight Sparkle… Although I do much prefer the name Midnight Sparkle nowaday’s. Much more sinister, don’t you think?” She said turning away. Shinning Armor shook with anger and rose his gun to her.
“GIVE HER BACK!” He shouted only for her to laugh hysterically.
“Or WHAT?” Youll Shoot me? You wouldn’t dare. After all…“ Suddenly her sinister voice changed into the sweet girl she once was, “Youll never see your precious little sister again if you do! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!”
Sunset let go of his hand and looked at his face.
“Im sorry Shinning Armor… Im sorry for what happened to your sister…”
Shinning Armor blinked back the tear’s forming and asked, “Who are you?” Sunset smiled and took his hand again.
“Im the one who’s gonna save your sister, as well as the rest of this world.”
The elevator Door opened as Mr. Armor and Sunset stepped out onto the first floor.
“Alright Team, listen up!” Mr. Armor said as everyone turned to their commanding officer. “This here is Sunset Shimmer. This young woman offered a solution on how to stop the Calamity. We need to get her to the church on the outskirt’s of the city so she can free her friend and stop Calamity Sparkle’s Source of power.”
A woman stepped forward, with green skin and orangish yellow hair and asked, “Why her?”
Sunset frowned and replied, “Cause its my fault this all happened, and now Im gonna fix it.” The woman burst out laughing.
“Don’t get me started. Your way to young to be there for The Calamity!” Sunset rolled her eyes walked over and grabbed her by the collar and brought her to meet her eye’s.
“Do I look like Im joking to you?” she asked simply. The woman looked into her eyes and saw a woman who would go to the end’s of the earth to save her friends, but also saw great pain.
“N-No Mama!” She stuttered. Sunset let her go and turned to the other solders.
“Alright, I need a jeep and 3 of your best soldier’s as back up.”
Mr.. Armor pointed at the bulky one from before, “Bulk Biceps,” then to a younger woman with brown skin and yellow hair, “Little Strongheart,” and then finally to the woman Sunset just spoke to, “and Lightning Dust are the best we got.” He said. Sunset nodded and turned to them as they grouped up.
“I need one of you to drive, one on look out, and one on point with me.” She said as she pulled her phone out and handed it to Mr. Armor. “I also need a map of the area downloaded onto this.” She said as he took it and nodded.
Strongheart stepped forward and asked, “Mama, do you know how to wield a gun?” Sunset blinked and shook her head.
“No… I was planning on using my sword…” She said motioning to her weapon. Strongheart sighed and turned around.
“With all due respect, Your gonna need something better than a sword for the trip.” She walked over to a wall and pulled down a slightly modified lancer. “This is a Morph-Lancer. Smaller than normal one’s, but with the tech we put into it, it can be 12 guns in one if needed.” She said tossing it to Sunset. She caught it with some disgust and looked it over.
“And I thought having to kill things with a sword was bad enough” she muttered to herself before looking up. “Are you sure this is the only way?” she asked to which Strongheart nodded.
“Im afraid so.” Sunset sighed and turned the gun over.
“I guess for now Ill use it.” She looked at Strongheart and Bulk Biceps. “Guess you two get to show me how to use it.” She said as the saluted her.
Sunset stretched as she stepped into the morning light with Bulk, Strongheart, and Lightning Dust. “Ugh, how do you all sleep on those beds?” she asked attempting to pop her back.
Bulk chuckled and replied, “you get used to it.”
Lightning Dust frowned and said, “Speak for yourself. Ive been sleeping on that bed for 20 years and still cant find a comfy spot!” The group chuckled at her comment as they made their way over to the jeep.
Sunset turned and asked, “wait… Ive been wondering… how exactly has everyone stayed alive? I mean I can understand my friends since they are being drained of magic constantly, but how has no one else from 100 years ago died?”
Strongheart climbed onto the back of the jeep and said, “when the entire world is pretty much the new hell, where else are we gonna go when we die?”
Sunset frowned and climbed into the back with her. “I see… well I guess Ill add that to the list.” She said pulling out her morph lancer. Lightning Dust climbed into the passenger seat as Sunset handed her the phone with the new map added. “Keep us on the path, ok?” Sunset said to which Lightning nodded. Bulk climbed in and started the jeep up.
“Hold tight!” he said as he hit the pedal.
The drive had been going on for 30 minutes and Sunset was getting nervous. “I don’t like this!” She said as they drove onto a bridge. “This place is just idle for an ambush!” She said as Strongheart turned to her.
“Ya. Its weird how no locusts or demons have attempted to attack us yet.” Bulk and Lightning nodded as Lightning returned focus to the map.
“The church is about ten minutes from here.” She said as a small buzzing sound began to be heard. Sunset looked around trying to find the source of the noise.
“Whats that sound?” she asked as Strongheart brought the gun on the jeep to life.
“WE GOT FLIERS!” she shouted aiming to the sky. Sunset looked up and gasped. She saw giant flying demons flying at them, their wings flapping fast, faster than a mocking bird. They had tenticals hanging from their mouths, as well as what appeared to be their entire body, and for some reason didn’t appear to have any faces. And on top of them where a few demons like the one she first fought back at Canterlot high. She frowned and pulled her Morph Lancer up and got ready to fire, only to have it rebuild itself into a small Gatling gun. Strongheart looked at her and shouted. “LETS BLOW THOSE SONS OF BITCHES OUT OF THE SKY!” Sunset nodded and aimed at the first one flying towards them and pulled the trigger. She had been training last night with the standard form of the Morph Lancer and had gotten used to the fire power. She however was not ready to its new mode as it almost knocked her back from the force as it spewed ten shots in a matter of seconds, eating away at the belly of the beast. Getting ahold of herself, she retook her position and went back to firing, noticing Strongheart had already downed a second one. Sunset fired again cutting through the demons wings as it fell off to the side of the bridge, only for one of it’s passengers to leap at the jeep. Sunset turned the gun back to it as it reformed back to its original form and she started its chainsaw mode. The demon didn’t stand a chance as her saw met its side, cutting through its body in seconds. She watched as it fell to the ground and fist pumped.
“DON’T GET TO COCKY!” Lightning shouted as another flier flew at them. Strongheart unleashed a spray of bullets on it, spraying its blood everywhere. Sunset spit out the bit that got in her mouth and spotted the 4th and last one coming at them. Suddenly the two riders leaped off and onto the jeep.
“ITS BAD ENOUGH WITH FOUR IN HERE, BUT THERES NOT ENOUGH ROOM FOR SIX!” Bulk shouted trying to keep them on the road. Sunset leaped at the intruders and pulled out her sword, slicing the first ones head clean off before grabbing her gun and smacking the second one upside the head with it. It feel to the hood of the jeep as she flipped it over and activated the saw, going clean through its brain. She kicked it off the jeep and climbed back into it as they pulled up to a huge crater. The group climbed out and walked over to it. “So…
where’s the church?” Sunset asked.
Bulk pointed down into the hole and said, “about 15 years ago there was an earthquake and the church and graveyard sunk into the ground.”
Sunset looked down and sighed seeing the building. “Nothing is ever gonna be easy, is it?” She said before noticing a cable leading down. “You guys stand guard. Ill be back as soon as I can.” She said sliding her goggles down and pulling out her gun and leaped off the side, using her gun to ride the cable down.
The demon ran into its master's chambers and pushed the door down as it breathed heavily. it looked up as it spotted its master standing over their former master, she having her ass up as her love was pushing something into her.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Their master said as she pushed her love away as a faint purple glow appeared on her crotch having whatever she had there disappeared. She opened her mechanical wings out and floated over her love and in front of the demon and grabbed it by the throat and held it in the air as her other hand gained a purple glow as a blade formed almost pixel like and she held it near it.
"You better have a DAMN good reason for bursting into my chambers." She snapped at it the purple glasses like aura around her eyes burning even harder than before. The Demon gulped and began speaking in its demon tongue. The young woman growled turned into a slightly interested expression and dropped the demon to the ground and stepped toward the balcony.
"So... a young girl thinks she has the power to stop me... Because she was predestined to 100 years ago huh?" she turned back towards her love and laughed manically. "WELL LET HER TRY! Many have stood before The Calamity, and none have succeeded." she roared as pure yellow eyes with their orange glow burned with joy. She turned to her fuck toy and grinned. "Lilth, inform the guards of the four prisons, and CAPTURE Rainbow Dash. I DONT CARE HOW, BUT DO IT! I want to rip away any and all hope this Sunset Shimmer thinks she has to stop me." Lilth nodded and stood up.
"As you wish Calamity Sparkle my love." She turned and walked past the demon, it picking up the scent of wet pussy from it.
"And as for you..." It heard Calamity Sparkle say and turned towards her only to gulp at her approaching, her blade reforming into a ball and chain. "You brought me bad news... and I HATE bad news!"
Sunset lept to the ground as her gun landed a few feet in front of her, snapping into pieces at the impact. "Fuck... oh well... not like I wanted that anyways." She said before looking at the church. "So this is where they took Applejack..." She muttered and frowned. closing her eyes, she felt some of Applejacks magic lingering around the air. Somehow, it caused her new mind sight power to kick in as she remembered back to when Applejack pushed her away.
Sunset knocked on Applejack's door and sighed turning around. She had been standing outside for over a minute now. The girls were supposed to meet at Applejack's that night for a slumber party. From the sounds of things, the party had already started without her, and she was hoping the only reason they hadnt answered the door was cause they just were partying hard. She finally pulled her phone and texted them to let them know she was there. After a few seconds she finally heard something she never wanted to hear. Applejack said "Oh for pete's sake shes still out there?" Sunse's eyes started to tear up and turned and ran back to her bike and started to drive away. As she did she heard Applejack scream "THATS RIGHT, GET OUT OF HERE YA TRAITOR!"
Sunset looked back up at the church and clenched her hands. "Part of me really wants to let them rot, but still... I cant leave them in this state." she muttered before kicking down the door. She stepped inside and noticed all the dead rotting bodies just lying around. "Guess these are from before Sparkle invited Hell up here..." she said stepping up to a massive hole in the ground. "Huh... wonder what caused this to appear."
She suddenly heard something moving behind her. She turned around slowly and sighed not surprised anymore. The corpses begun to stand up and move towards her. "Lets just get this over with." She muttered before drawing her blade. The first zombie got close to her and she swung her blade, cutting its head clean off. she turned to the other ones and spun her sword around and sighed. "Come on, at least be a challenge." she said until she suddenly heard a thumping sound below her. She looked down to see the head of the zombie she just cut down hoping towards her. "Oh shit..." she said before kicking it into another zombie.
She watched in fear as they kept walking closer to her. "Great... how do you kill that which is already dead?" she asked out loud backing up only to feel she was now next to the hole. she twirled her sword and stood her ground as they moved ever so closer towards her. "WELL? COME ON THEN!" She screamed at them. They snarled and decided to leap at her. at the very last second Sunset leaped out of the way and watched as part of them fell down the hole, the sounds of their bodies hitting the ground making agonizing crunching sounds. She winced before looking to see the remaining ones glared at her and moved towards her. She gulped and tightened her grip on her sword before charging at them, sword out and shield set to defend as she ran them over before pushing them into the hole. She panted heavily before her ears pricked at the sound of a voice.
"So... Its finally that time... Hey Sunset... Long time no see huh?." Sunset frowned and looked around. Despite the southern talk no longer present, she still recognized the voice.
"WHERE ARE YOU APPLEJACK?" She yelled putting her weapons away.
"Im sorry about us meeting again under these circumstances, but right now we need your help. Im currently trapped two levels down. Please hurry..." She said before her voice faded. Sunset nodded and looked down the hole she tossed the zombies and frowned to see them still trying to get up to her.
"Shit... whats it take to kill these things?" she muttered before turning to a massive pillar. "Hmm... Maybe..." she said and walked over. She got behind it and pressed her hands against it and began to push. Unfortunately it didnt seem to move at all. "Come... ON!!!" she shouted clenching her eyes closed. Unbeknown to her, her hands began to glow orange and the pillar began to move, soon falling over and crushing the zombies underneath it. She looked down at her results and smiled only to notice her hands glowing orange. "What the?" she said before they stopped. She shrugged it off and leaped down into the pit, sliding down the pillar. she noticed a set of stairs and jogged down them till she reached what appeared to be a chamber that split into two chambers on the sides while a massive door stood at the other side of the room.
She walked abit into the chamber slowly and looked at the door. "Ugh... this looks way to big for me to force my way through. Maybe theres something in those chambers?" she said looking at the other rooms." she said. She took a step towards the one on the right only for a magical barrier to appear over all the doors. Sunset then heard a voice, one unfamiliar to her.
"So... your the girl my mistress wants dead?" Sunset looked up and spotted a woman, extremely demon like, with giant wings, covered in black leather and gold gauntlets and chains, hovered above the room.
"Who are you?" Sunset asked drawing her weapon. The woman smirked and floated closer.
"Oh Sunset... Im sure Samael had told you about his old bride... My name is Lilth, the queen of all demons..." Sunset's grip tightened on her sword and shield and got into a battle stance. "Oh, Im not here to fight you. One of my children are." she said waving her hand forward as a portal opened and a hand shot out of it covered in armor. Sunset jumped back as another hand wielding a sword twice her size slammed into the ground. soon, a man with long white hair covered in a red hood, and massive armor pulled himself out, his eyes covered in an ere glow.
"War... show this girl how you feel about her trying to stop mommy's wife." She said before disappearing in fire. War swung his sword into the correct holding position and stomped forward towards Sunset. Sunset frowned and held her shield up as he swung. However, he swung to her shock, far to soon for him to hit her, instead hitting the ground, only for spikes shaped like his sword to erupt from the ground, forcing her to leap back in fear.
"The HELL?" She shouted only for War to charge forward, moving much faster and swung his blade forward. She threw up her shield at the last second, forcing his sword away. She then swung her sword at his side only for it to bounce off his armor. She looked up and noticed he was about to swing down again. She leaped to the side only to slam into an old suit of armor holding a ball and chain. She noticed War stomping towards her again. 'Weird how he hasnt spoken to me once' she thought to herself before grabbing the ball and chain and swung it around before throwing it at him, unaware her hands had started to glow orange again. War suddenly was knocked into the wall and grunted in pain. He then pulled himself out and reached behind him and pulled out a giant throwing star.
Sunset watched curiously and cautiously as he then threw the blade straight at her. She leapt out of the way only to watch it sail back to him. 'Its like a boomerang...' she thought as he suddenly got ready to throw it again, but had begun to charge it. Sunset took this as a moment to try and throw the ball and chain at him again. However, as she did, War threw his blade again. The weapons collided, the ball and chain getting knocked into the wall as the whirling blade skidded to the side. She turned back to War only to see rage in his eyes. She noticed fire was starting to come from his body as he suddenly slammed his fist into the ground and leapt into the air screaming in rage as his body transformed into a massive demon on fire with wings.
Sunset screamed in fear as his now massive sword came down hard where she was. She leapt backwards as a massive explosion erupted from there. "Great..." she said before charging at him only for the Demon form to trying and swipe at her again. 'This isnt gonna work... if I had a way... to...' she thought before turning to his throwing star. She looked back at him as he roared in fury at her and stomped closer. Sunset took off, running towards the blade only for War to throw the floor at her. She dodged out of the way and grabbed the blade, spinning around and throwing the massive blade into his chest. War roared in pain as he reverted back to normal and collapsed onto the ground.
Sunset panted and walked over to him. She could hear breathing from him and looked down at his face. She noticed the ere glow had disappeared and all that was left were the whites of his eyes. Slowly, his hand reached to hers and took it. She looked in shock at this strong warrior of a man, being gentle to her. "Forgive... me... Sunset Shimmer, Champion of the Light." he struggled to say. "She opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. "I know you have no reason to trust me after this... But Lilth... she somehow took control of me, my brothers, and sister. We are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse..." Sunset leaned down to him and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Not even we could stand against the Great Calamity. She took us down with ease thanks to her power over technology and magic. We... stood no chance." he said looking into her eyes. "But you... you have a chance. Please... free my family... we shall forever be in your debt." Sunset nodded and finally found the words to say. "I forgive you War, and I shall honor your wish." War smiled and reached up pulling out the blade in his chest. "Take this. Itll help you on your quest." he said handing it over to her before collapsing at last.
Unbeknown to Sunset as she cleaned the blood of the horseman off her new Crossblade, a lone figure stood hiding in the basement rafters, only a lone eye was visible as she squeezed her fists.
"Hmm... seems there are indeed other versions of Sunset that actually stand a chance against the Horsemen... This shall be interesting..." She said before a portal opened beside her and she floated through it.
Sunset looked around her as the barrier that had appeared earlier soon vanished. "Guess now I can explore these rooms to see if there's a way to enter." She said putting the Crossblade away. Making her way to the right path, she was greeted by a massive turn table in the middle of a pool of lava with some strange red crystals stopping the gears from working.
"Hmm, wonder if there's any way to blow those up..." She muttered making her way to the middle of the chamber. Suddenly the same creatures from when they drove here burst out of the lava, now caught on fire.
"OH SHIT!" Sunset screamed as they shot fireballs at her. She leapt back abit avoiding the now burning metal and pulled out her Crossblade. Looking up, she quickly calculated the throw needed and hurled the boomerang like weapon at one, slicing its wings off before flying towards the second one, cutting its head off before flying back to her. Sighing, she turned to the left to see some kind of black spiky ball growing out of the wall.
"That might do something" She said jumping onto the cog's below and leaping across the lava towards a couple of footholds in the wall as she made her way up it to the spiky ball. Reaching up and pulling it from the wall, she watched as it suddenly began to glow and pulse red.
"Uh oh" She said before turning around and throwing it at the crystal only for it to explode upon impact, starting the gears back up. Soon she heard the sound of something being lowered from the other room.
"Guess starting this back up did something in there." Sunset said grabbing onto some growth on the side of the wall and made her way back up to the first chamber. Entering it, she noticed a crystal had lowered down to the right side of the door.
"Interesting..." She muttered before throwing her Crossblade causing the glow to go from white to yellow, only to go back to white.
"Sunset there's still another switch to be hit. You'll need to go to the other chamber to activate the switch. Please hurry" Sunset heard Applejack's voice call out to her. Nodding she jogged into the other chamber.
Lilith walked into the throne room of her lover looking up at Calamity Sparkle. "My queen, it should please you to know that the one called Sunset Shimmer has been dealt with by my Son War." She said bowing before her. Calamity smirked and stood up walking towards her.
"Is that so?" She said before standing before her. "Then you deserve a reward my love." She said before her hand became a claw and slapped Lilith across the face. "FOR FAILING ME! SUNSET REMAINS ALIVE AND YOUR SON IS NO MORE" Calamity Sparkle screamed into her face, her eyes lighting on fire in pure rage. Lilith put a claw to her face, shocked at what Calamity did, but more shocked at what she screamed.
"No... that's not possible... A mere mortal can not hope to stand against a Nephilem... Let alone one of the Four..." Suddenly a new voice was heard from behind the throne.
"Thats what you think..." Lilith looked up as a strange being walked out from behind. She had a gem merged to her chest and a mask covering her face, only her horn and left eye were showing as her mane and tail just floated behind her as energy like wings hung on her back. Finally on her flank she had a mark of the infinity sign. Calamity grinned turning to the newcomer.
"Lilith, meet Infinite. The being who made me possible." The new comer known as Infinite merely chuckled.
"Oh please Sparkle, I may of given you the power, but all this was all you." Infinite said walking beside her. "No other version of you would be able to do this, since they usually get stopped at the Friendship games, but You are the only one to of gotten lucky that Sunset Shimmer killed herself thanks to those three girls. Shame those blasted Angels brought her back..." She said with Venom dripping from her voice. Calamity Sparkle frowned at hearing this.
"What do you mean by only version of me?" She asked to which Infinite turned to face her with her only eye showing.
"Ah yes, thats right. You didn't care to break your universe to learn about magic. you just wanted revenge on everyone who wronged you. Well my dear, allow me to explain..."
Sunset grunted pushing the rotating switch pushing the giant gears to get the switch to drop from the ceiling. Soon she heard the sound of it lowering and sighed as she stood up from the exhausting job. "There... that should get the door open..." she said out of breath and walked back to the chamber to see two white switches ready to be activated. Sunset smirked and leaped into the air, throwing the crossblade at both switches, causing them to go from white to yellow, only to go red the moment both lit up.
"Excellent!" She said catching the blade. She watched as the massive door opened and she rang into the room. Looking down, she saw a chamber with five pillars around it. Leaping down, she noticed that the pillars each had wires moving towards the center of the room. Suddenly, she heard AJ's voice again.
"Great job Sunset. You've almost done it. Hurry and destroy the pillars before the guard comes!" She said only for the floor to rumble. "Uh Oh... To late... Look out Sunset!" Applejack shouted as she turned around to see a part of the floor slide away as a new floor rose up as a new being stood on the platform. Sunset squinted her eyes as she could of sworn this person had 3 heads.
"Who are you?" she asked drawing her sword and shield out. The heads chuckled as one of them said, "Oh poor Sunset Shimmer, she doesn't remember us, now does she?" Another one giggled and said, "Maybe we should give her a reminder, Eh Adagio?" Sunset gasped hearing the name as the third head said, "Long as we can eat her. Its been like FOREVER since we've had a decent meal and our stomach is killing me!"
Sunset got into a fighting stance as the figure stepped forward. "The Dazzlings... What happened to you?" She looked at them as their heads now sat on a single pair of shoulders with their body taking mostly after Adagio with her sisters on the outside of their body, but their limbs seemed to be Aria and Sonata's but with Adagio's color skin in the middle of their limps showing she could control their body more than her sisters. Adagio smiled at the flame headed girl and showed off their body.
"Oh this? this is just a present from the Calamity herself! That way wed have the power to crush anyone who goes after Applejack as one. And she loves having a 3 headed sex doll." She said with a grin as her sisters giggled.
Sunset frowned and spun her sword. "And what makes you three think you'll stop me?" she said only to hear a strange sound from above. She looked up to see a masked stranger float out of a vortex.
"That would be my cue." a sinister female voice was heard from it as she floated to the Dazzlings and raised her hand to them, energy flowing out of her. "Oh Sunset Shimmer... How I hate you and your miserably goody goody two shoes existence." She said as the energy went into the three headed girl. Sunset frowned at hearing this.
"How can you hate me? I don't even know you!" She said as the pony turned around to face her.
"Oh I know a great DEAL about you... But you may call me... Infinite... in what remains of your time. Now if you'll excuse me, I must return to Calamity Sparkle at once for her training..." She said venom drooling from her voice as she glitched out of existence. Sunset frowned and looked at the Dazzlings only to be shocked at the three headed girl began to grow scales and claws out of them as a massive tail shot out of their back. Giant wings formed from their back as their necks extended becoming more serpent like. Soon Sunset was staring at a three headed Siren as they roared at her, knocking her into the wall. Pulling herself out, she tightened her grip on her weapons and prepared for the fight ahead of her.
Calamity Sparkle looked up from petting Lilths head as a portal opened in throne room. She smiled as Infinite floated through it landing before her, her ethral wings vanishing. "Ah, Infinite. I was wondering when youd return." Calamity said leaning to the side of her throne. Infinite chuckled at her creation and folded her arms.
"Calamity, would you like to watch Ms. Shimmer die at the hands of your creation?" Calamity grinned wickedly and stood up walking towards her.
"Of course. Its not often someone dies twice." Infinite nodded and turned around, her horn glowing as a screen appeared before them, showing the now monsterous version of the Sierns licking their lips at Sunset, getting into a fighting pose.

Sunset looked at the Sierns as their new wings flaped open, and started to float them off the ground, their massive shriek/roar nearly knocking her off her feet. They then started flying around the chamber, Adagio spewing fire out her mouth lighting the arena's edges on fire. Sonata then spewed chunks of ice all over the arena. Finally Aria roared at the ceiling, shooting lightning out, causing a storm to form.
Sunset sighed watching it unfold. "Great. They have elemental powers...". She leapt back as they landed nearly on top of her, throwing her Crossblade at their heads only for it to bounce off. Before she could grab it, she noticed it bumped into one of Sonata's ice blasts, collecting the element before hitting the floor and returning to normal. "So it can absorb more than just fire eh?" She said before the Sierns swiped at her with their claws. She then targeted the block of ice and threw her Crossblade right at it, only for it to bounce off, now covered in ice, and into Adagio's head as she charged another blast of fire, only to inhale ice, putting out her fire and weakening her.
"YES!" Sunset cheered as the Crossblade returned to her. "One down, two to go!" She leapt over their claws as Sonata and Aria attacked at her, trying to wait for Adagio's strength to return. Sunset brought her sword out and slashed through Adagio's snout, wounding her before back fliping back a few feet and pulling back out her Crossblade, now aiming for the fire. She threw it at an angle, making it barely graze the fire, but enough to absorb the flames as it flew to Aria, stopping her from causing more lightning to strike. Sonata tried pulling their body back, now with half their limbs attacking as Aria was to stunned to defend herself. Sunset ran at them, sliding beneath Sonata's attacks only to leap up and slice at Aria's horns, cutting them off. She landed on her snout and then performed another back flip before she could attempt to eat her. Sunset looked up at the storm above them and grinned. Sonata started spewing more ice at her causing Sunset to pull her shield out to defend. When Sonata ran out of breath however, she leapt into the air, throwing her Crossblade at the storm, only for it to get struck by lightning as it shot back down, striking Sonata and electrucuting her. Sunset ran forward, dodging left and right as she tried to hit her with their tail, only to leap up spinning as she cut Sonata's fins off the sides of her head.
She landed a few feet back as they tried to stand up groaning. Adagio roared fire at Sunset, only for her to throw up her shield again. She watched as the Sierns slowly began flapping their wings, slowly but surely getting off the ground. They then flew around the chamber as they started to enhale their blasts again, before shooting all three at the ceiling, creating a chaotic storm in the chamber. They hovered high above the arena and grinned as they were far from her reach. Sunset grinned back at them, surprising them as her old demon wings unfolded from her back as she leapt into the air, flapping them as she took flight. The Dazzlings shrieked in annoyance and started flying around the chamber firing their blasts to keep her away.
Sunset dodged every blast she could, getting closer only for a bolt of lightning from the storm to get in her way. Noticing she felt the electricity, heat, and cold of their powers, she thought for a second as the beast charged at her. She threw her Crossblade at the storm, another bolt of lightning hitting it, charging it with all three elements before soaring back at her. She dodged it as The Dazzlings were closing in, getting hit in their chest by the Crossblade before falling back to the arena and landing. Hard. Sunset landed on their belly and looked down at the fused trio, her sword out. They looked up at her with eyes beginning for mercy.
Sunset sighed. "Im sorry it has to be this way... Maybe in the next life..." She said before leaping up with her sword. She noticed the orange glow return to her hands as she preformed the endding blow...

"IMPOSSIBLE!!!" Calamity Sparkle shouted, her hands becoming blasters as she began shooting the room up. "HOW WAS SHE ABLE TO DEFEAT THEM!?!?" She screamed in rage. Infinite floated behind her, one hand on her mask as she thought it over.
"She seems to have some skill... I remember someone else having skills like that... perhaps?" She said before her horn glowed opening another portal. Calamity turned around growling.
"And what do you think your going to do?" She asked threating like as she raised her gun at Infinite. She remained still facing her portal as her horn flashed. Calamity's weapons fading out.
"You do not get to order me around. I gave you this power, and I can take it away as well." Calamity frowned as her weapons returned and she willed them away. "I have a theory about this universe's Sunset Shimmer, and I am going to see if its correct." Infinite continued before floating into the portal.

Sunset pulled out The Dazzlings heart and hid it away. Turning around, she spotted a computer and walked towards it, noticing a slot for her phone. She pulled it out and placed it in the slot.
"Here goes nothing..." she muttered as a loading bar appeared on the phone.
"HONESTY APP INSTAILING"
She noticed a button labeled "cage" and hit it. Suddenly the floor begun to shake as slots begun to open, a pod rising out of the ground slowly. After it all stopped, the pod opened up as Sunset walked up to it. There laid Applejack, a full grown woman, with the life nearly drained of her.
Slowly, she opened her eyes to see Sunset and gently smiled. "S-Sunset... its good to see you once more..." She said, her voice weakened. Sunset helped Applejack out of the pod and onto her feet. "I wish we could meet on better terms, but I know its time for me to face my demons..." she said before slowly making her way to the computer. "I suppose your still angry with me, correct?" She asked as Sunset walked by her.
"I was never angry at you girls," Sunset said placing her hand on Applejack's shoulder, "I was destroyed, heartbroken, and lost everything, but I never was angry." Applejack smiled at her.
"Seems your better at being honest than I was... But I still owe you an apology and an explenation of what happened..." she said before taking Sunset's hand and placed it on her forehead.

Applejack was sitting on the steps with her friends in front of Canterlot High. Everywhere around them people were upset over the lose of Sunset. "I... cant believe she took her own life..." Rarity said as her tears ruined her make up, not bothering to fix it.
"This is all our fault..." Fluttershy said with her head hiding behind her knees. "If we had just bothered to listen..." Rainbow Dash patted her back trying to comfort her.
"We should tell Twilight... Right?" She asked nervously. Applejack nodded and stood up. "Ah'll grab her journel..." she said before heading inside. Everywhere she looked as she entered the building was just devestating. Students were still angry at Anon-A-Miss for revealing their secrets, but at least when they thought it was Sunset things werent as chaotic as they were now. In a sad sorta way, she was a lightning rod to take their anger out on. Now though, people were throwing blaim at each other, trying to tear each other, while others just laid around upset that they helped drive someone to suicide.
Applejack sighed as she reachedę Sunset's locker and looked it over, still covered in spray paint from people calling her names. She opened the locker and found Sunset's journel to Princess Twilight, waiting to be used once more. "Ah'm sorry Sunset..." Applejack muttered as she carried the journel back outside. Rainbow Dash looked up to see her return. She pulled a pen out and handed it over to Applejack, who took it and begun writing in it. Pinkie Pie sighed looking to the portal knowing this wasnt going to be a pleasent visit.
"Twilight's gonna hate us forever for this... She'll probably shut the portal down forever for this." She said glumly. Applejack sighed closing the journel and looked up. "What other choice do we have?"
Looking to the side, she saw her sister and her friends giggling and having fun. She wondered how those three were still smiling, but decided to ignore it for the moment as the portal begun to glow. They watched as Twilight stepped through and walked uo to her, only to watch a man step through as well. He stood as tall as them with blond hair, blue eyes, and sideburns that went down to his neck. His outfit was a strange green floppy hat with a yellow strip at the base, a green tunic, brown arms and legs that didnt fit him correctly, and boots. What shocked them were his ears, pointing out like an elfs.
Twilight turned to him. "Girls, this is Link. Now, whats wrong? Where is Sunset?" Applejack sighed. "Twilight... Sunset's dead..." Twilight gasped at the news while Link slowly raised his hand.
"Um, who was Sunset?" Rainbow pulled out her phone and pulled up a picture showing him. "Sunset was a friend that we betrayed thinking she had gone back to her old ways... we refused to listen and kicked her out of Sugarcube Corner into the freezing cold when she tried to prove her innecent. That was the last we saw her alive... Turns out she returned to her apartment and took her life..." she told him before breaking down in tears. However, Link had stopped listening shortly after seeing the picture.
"She looks familiar..." He said quietly putting his hand to his face in thought. Twilight listened as they continued to tell their story to her, her face slowly going from shock to anger.
"How COULD YOU BETRAY HER LIKE THAT!?!?" She asked in rage as she got in their faces. "SHE WAS YOUR FRIEND! SHE WAS IN A GOOD POSTION IN HER LIFE? WHY WOULD SHE JUST TOSS ALL OF THAT BACK IN YOUR FACES?" She yelled at them, causing Link to grab her so she didnt attack them. It was at that point Applejack's sister and her friends walked up smiling.
"Whats all the hubub?" Scootaloo asked standing by her idol who was crying her heart out. Twilight was fumming as she looked at the trio.
"How are you three calm during all of this?" She asked raising her eyebrow. Sweetiebelle smiled brightly.
"Were just glad to have our sister's back!" She said hugging Rarity. Link stared at them in disbeleif. "Your not even upset your sisters lost their friend forever?" He asked.
"She deserved it." Applebloom said about to hold her sisters hand only for Applejack to turn around in shock. "How can ya say that Applebloom? She was innecent!" She yelled at her sister who kept smiling. "She was, but she still stole ya'll from us. And after all she did to the school before ya'll hit her with that rainbow, all she got as punishment was a slap on the wrist." Twilight finally stepped towards the trio, eyes narrow and almost set ablaze.
"It was you three, wasnt it? You three were Anon-A-Miss, werent you?" She said so calmly it was scary. But they just kept smiling. "Ya, we are Anon-A-Miss." Scootalloo said triumphently. Rainbow Dash stopped crying and looked at the three girls.
"You did this..." her said, her voice so calm, but at the same time full of rage. "IT WAS YOU WHO GOT HER TO KILL HERSELF!!!" She yelled about to strangle her only for to be held back Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. Applebloom grinned and tried to hug Applejack.
"Isnt it great? Now we can spend all the time in the world together!" Twilight pulled Applejack back and stood in front of the trio rage burning off her.
"You three are monsters... you know that? It sickens me to see how corrupt you three are on this side... Your pony counterparts did this once, but they never went this far, never got someone to end it all, and if they did, they would of at LEAST felt bad!" She said calmly as Link held her back. "Twilight... their not worth it..." he said causing her to turn in surprise. "They are lowest of the low. Right up there with the Demon king himself... they dont deserve your time, nor anyones time." He said looking her dead in the eyes. "These girls, the ones who claimed to be your friends, while played the role of executioner, and deserve punishment, at least realise they were in the wrong." Twilight nodded and turned to the portal.
"Lets go Link..." she said. Link nodded and stepped through the gate as she turned back around. "Before I go and return this gate to having it open every three moons, a word of advise. Seperate yourself from such evil. Id hate for you to end up like those three..." She said before stepping through. "We wont help you with anymore magical mishaps again."

Sunset took her hand off Applejack's forehead and looked at her in confusion. "The... CMC were Anon-A-Miss this whole time... and were PROUD OF MY DEATH!?!?" she shouted in rage as her phone pinged signaling the new app was instaled as her fists begun glowing orange as she ran towards the pod and punched it, snapping it off the floor off the arena. "Wha-? How did I?" She asked confused looking at Applejack.
"Seems youve gained new abilites from here." She said looking at the phone. Sunset walked back over and picked it up as the new app appeared on the sidebar. "All of us picked up a slight bit of magic while we were at camp Everfree on the run from Midnight Sparkle. But before we could learn it, she caught up to us and begun draining us of our new magic again to the point of her becoming the monster she is now." Sunset hugged her closely.
"Im sorry for what happened to you girls... is there any way to stop her from draining you girls?" She asked, to which Applejack sighed nodding.
"Theres only one... you... have to end our lives..." looking away from Sunset, she added, "In a way, this is the punishment we earned..." Sunset stepped back in shock.
"N-No... I cant kill my friends!" She said nervous like.
"Oh Sunset... We ruined our friendship all those years ago... besides, it needs to be done... Im sorry..." Sunset started to cry and hugged her tightly before letting go and drew her sword out. "Good bye Applejack... I hope we become better friends in the next life..."

Bulk Biceps spun around blasting away with his Lancer as the Locust's and demon's as Lightning Dust and Little Braveheart cut through them with the chainsaw part. "I sure hope Sunset returns soon!" He shouted as they got closer to them. Suddenly a gust of wind burst from behind them, carrying Sunset high into the sky on her demon wings. They watched as she divebombed into a crowd of the monsters, causing an explosion to happen knocking them back. She then leapt up pulling her Crossblade out and threw it at a string of monsters, cutting their heads off before it returned to its owner.
"GET IN THE JEEP!" She yelled as she drew her sword out and slashed through the demons around her. The trio hopped in the jeep and started it back up as Lightning Dust took aim with the mounted chain gun and unleashed a load before the vechile, taking out anything before it. Sunset landed next to her, her wings folded up as she turned to Bulk. "GO GO GO!!!" She yelled as he floored it, getting them out of there.
"Wheres Applejack?" Lightning Dust asked as they made their way back to Manehatten. "Calamity Sparkle wont be draining magic from her ever again... trust me..." Sunset said before pulling down her goggles and her hood up. Lightning Dust nodded as the rode the rest of the trip in silence.

A portal beside Canterlot High opened up as Infinite stepped through. "So... this is this dimensions past... pathetic..." she muttered before turning to her target. Three girls hiding away typing on their phones as fast as possible.
"Quick Ya'll! We gotta delete the account before they find out it was us!" Applebloom said trying to find the terminate account section.
Behind her mask, Infinite smiled as she landed in front of the trio. "Oh but why would the three of you want to delete all that delicous evil work youve done to tear your school apart?" She asked starttling them.
"Wha-Who are you? What do you want?" Scootallo asked getting in a fighting postion. "You may call me Infinite... I am a being from beyond your reality. And Im here to make certain events happen so my wonderfully wicked creation Calamity Sparkle rises to destroy your world." The trio backed away in fear as she got closer. " Whats that got to do with us?" Sweetie Belle asked as Infinite smiled behind her mask.
"You three murdered Sunset Shimmer. Any moment now Princess Twilight will come through the portal to comfront your sisters. You three are gonna show how much your glad you got her to end it all. The rage will cause the twerp to seal the portal back up so no one will be able to stop the Calamity from starting at the Friendship Games!" Applebloom bumped into the wall shivering.
"What makes you think well help you?" She asked. Infinite stopped and turned towards her, her one visible eye staring into Applebloom's soul. "Silly girl..." she said as her horn glowed. "You dont have A CHOICE!!!" Her horn fired three beams at their chests, bringing out the small bit of them that was glad Sunset was gone, and increasing it to the point it pushed other feels aside outside of spreading secrets and hurting others. "There... You are no longer the CMC... you are truly... Anon-A-Miss...."
Shining Armor looked up from his desk as Sunset walked through his office door. “Mission accomplished. Applejack is freed from Calamity’s hold.” She said tossing what remained of her morphlancer onto his desk adding, “Sorry about the gun. Didn’t really last me to long at the church.”
Shining Armor nodded standing up and walking towards the window. “At least you managed to turn the tide of this war... Even if it was a small bit.” He said putting his hands behind his back as she walked over beside him. “Much more than Ive done.”
Sunset put her hand onto his shoulder causing him to look at her. “Hey, you did your best against a foe that used someone you loved against you as a weapon.” She said giving a heart warming smile. Shining Armor nodded before looking down at the ground frowning as he spotted an army of demons marching forward toward their base.
“Shit! We need to get you outta here!” He said sounding the alarm. Sunset nodded running to the door only for Shining Armor to smash a window facing Canterlot open and fired a zip wire out it across the city.
“This will be much faster.” He said motioning her to get over to him. He then fired the other end into his ceiling and gave Sunset the zip wire. “Get back to Rainbow Dash and find your other friends!” He said grabbing his gun. Nodding, Sunset leapt out the window as he began firing at the ground below only to spot someone flying up at Sunset.

Calamity Sparkle growled as her hoards charged at the C.O.G. base. “FIND SUNSET SHIMMER!!! AND KILL THAT BITCH!!! SHE CAN NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE DRAINING MY MAGIC!!!” She roared at them. Suddenly she heard glass shatter as she saw a zip wire fire out the top floor. “So... She thinks she can escape me from above...” She muttered before turning to one of her generals. “KEEP ATTACKING. IM GOING AFTER HER MYSELF!” She yelled before her mechanical wings unfolded and she flew into the air after her as she jumped out. Sunset continued to zip down only to spot Calamity flying up at her. Swinging herself, She leapt over the wire and planted her boots on the cable and begun grinding down as she pulled her sword out and slashed at Calamity as she reached her.
She managed to cut a strand of hair off the shedemon as she passed by and continued grinding down. Calamity stopped and noticed the strand fall before roaring in rage and causing a sword to form where her right hand was and sliced through the air causing a sword beam to appear and cut the wire as Sunset reached the building that the end of the wire shot into. Leaping to her feet, Sunset pulled out her shield as Calamity Sparkle shot down like a bullet and flew right for Sunset slashing down right as she put her shield between them. Sunset then dropped low and kicked the shedemon’s feet out from under her.
She then swung her sword at her only for Calamity to suddenly turn her right hand into a blade as well and threw them under Sunset’s blade blocking her blow before kicking the girl back and floating into the air. Sunset hissed in pain she she got a good look at her foe. Calamity Sparkle seemed to be the imperfect fusion of magic and technology as her body was partly turned into a cyborg while her face had a jagged horn in her forehead with two ethereal flaming glasses over her glowing eyes. Her skin looked like it was dripping with pure malice as a very demonic grin formed on her face.
“So, this is the pathetic girl who was supposed to save this world one hundred years ago... Your nothing special.” She said as her right sword forming into an arm cannon and begun firing at Sunset. The young girl did a back flip dodging the blasts, but as she landed, she was hit in the chest knocking her to the ground. Standing up in pain, she pulled out her crossblade and flung it at Calamity’s face, scratching it over her left eye. Sunset then charged at her full of rage, unfolding her demon wings and leapt with her sword ready to slice more than the shedemon’s hair.
Calamity leapt back into the air only to watch as Sunset landed, now taller, her sword three times as big as it was with it’s blade now a double helix with the top splitting into two blades. Sunset’s skin was now blood red with her hair lit on fire, her tunic now covered in armor that covered her body down to her crotch as her pants and undershirt now pitch black. On her breasts were two symbols, the right had her cutie mark, the other what appeared to be three triangles. Finally, her face was covered in four red stripes with a purple blade like strip on her forehead as her eyes were just white orbs, filled with rage. Flapping her wings, Sunset screamed in rage as she swung her massive sword at Calamity, flinging a sword beam of pure fire at the shedemon.
Caught off guard, Calamity Sparkle was knocked out of the air and onto the roof as the transformed Sunset stepped forward, her face a mix between calm and pure rage as she took her blade with both hands and raised it above the shedemon. Calamity raised her cannon at her and fired at Sunset point blank, knocking the transformed girl back. Taking her chance, She spread her wings and flew back into the air before opening a portal. “Very well. So you have more skill than I thought. But no matter. I will defeat you soon Sunset Shimmer!” The Shedemon said before disappearing into the portal. Sunset frowned in anger and swung her sword at the portal firing another flame beam only for it to close mere milliseconds before it hit.
Slamming her blade into the ground, Sunset roared in anger only to hear the door to the roof open. Turning, she spotted Rainbow Dash walking up backwards firing at demons who had followed her up. “I COULD USE A HAND HERE!” Rainbow yelled at Sunset unaware of Sunset’s transformed state. Sunset nodded and grabbed her blade out of the building and as Rainbow backed up closer, Sunset ran past her shocking the woman from her new form. Sunset took her sword in her right hand and pulled it behind her with her left ahead as if about to ask the demons to stop. The monsters began pouring onto the roof as Sunset smiled, taking her left hand to the handle of her sword and swinging the massive blade diagonally left down, then swung it right, then left down again, each time firing a massive flame beam before leaping into the air, spinning around swinging her blade before firing a final, much larger beam at them as she landed, making sure the last thing they saw was her empty eyes before being sliced into pieces.
Rainbow watched as the dust settled and saw Sunset, transformed back to herself, standing up putting her sword and shield away before turning to the woman and sighing. “What... WAS THAT?” Rainbow asked running up to the girl. “Im... not sure... But whatever it was, Im sure Samael might know.” Sunset said panting as Rainbow led her downstairs to her bike.

Samael grinned as Sunset and Rainbow Dash drove into his prison and slid to a stop before him. “So, how did your little mission go?” He said getting up and walking over to the two. Sunset reached into her pouch and pulled out the Dazzling’s still beating heart before tossing it to him. Samael grabbed the heart and put it up to his fangs about to devour it only to smell a new scent on Sunset. “Oooh Sunset Shimmer... What have you done to be COVERED in that PUUUURE Dark Magic?” He asked running up to her picking Sunset off the ground drooling at her scent.
“W-What are you... talking about?” Sunset asked trying to pull away. Samael set her down and turned towards Rainbow Dash. “You, tell me what happened when you found her after I sent you after her!” He ordered scaring the woman. “W-When I-I found her... she had just got Calamity Sparkle to leave, but... She had changed... into some kind of warrior goddess.” Rainbow said explaining in detail the form Sunset had taken.
“Hmm... I see... Sunset, mind telling me what happened in your battle with her?” He asked sitting on a statue grabbing the heart and begun devouring it. Sunset nodded and begun explaining up till her transformation. “And then after that... Its all kind of a blur...” She said shrugging. Samael scratched his chin and walked over to her, looking her over. “When she blasted you, she must of reexposed you to Dark Magic... However, since your already full of Light Magic, it mixed together to grant you that warrior like form whenever you get enraged.” He said as Rainbow pulled a can of soda out and gave Sunset a second can, saying, “That... Kinda makes sense...”
Samael grinned adding, “Yes, but we should test this theory. Sunset, why don’t you use your mind powers to read Rainbow’s mind.” Rainbow gulped as Sunset frowned and put her hand on her friend’s forehead.

“Man... I can’t wait for tonight’s sleep over!” Rainbow Dash said walking into the school with Fluttershy. “Oooh, are you finally gonna ask Sunset Shimmer out?” the shy girl asked as Rainbow smiled putting her gift to Sunset in her locker. “Ya, Im sure she’s gonna say yes!” She said only for the pair’s phone’s to go off. “Its from Applejack... And its about Anon-A-Miss...” Fluttershy said with a frown as they made their way to where they were asked to meet up.
“So what’s up?” Rainbow Dash asked as the approached. “Girls... I think... Sunset is Anon-A-Miss...” Rarity said showing the pictures posted onto the MyStable account. “Wait... That... That cant be right... Why would Sunset post those pictures?” Rainbow Dash asked. “We can ask her ourselves. There she is.” Applejack said pointing at the door as Sunset entered smiling.

Rainbow Dash flung her locker open tears in her eyes as she took her gift out of the bag she had for it and flung it out into a trash can only for a small box to flop out of the bag falling further into the can. “Rainbow, are you ok?” Rarity asked as she reached into the can, trying to not get anything on her as she pulled out the box and opened it. “Oh my... Rainbow... who was this for?” She asked only for Rainbow Dash to slam her locker shut and turned towards Rarity.
“Just... Just take it! I don’t want to think of that back stabbing two faced shedemon BITCH EVER AGAIN!” She yelled as she stomped away muttering on how to destroy Sunset.

Sunset backed away as Rainbow held her head in shame. “Back Stabbing two faced SHEDEMON? YOU WERE THE ONE WHO STARTED CALLING ME THAT AGAIN?” she yelled in rage as her hair burst into flames and her skin began to turn blood red. However, Samael grabbed her and held her back as Rainbow cowered in fear. “I-Im sorry, OK? I know i did wrong, and ever since finding out how royally bad I fucked up, Ive been trying everything I could to at least honer you...” Rainbow said looking the mid-transformed girl in her fading eyes. Sunset roared in frustration as she pulled out her sword and swung at Rainbow Dash causing the woman to try to defend herself... only to slam her blade into the ground an inch from her. Rainbow looked on at the Deity standing before her as Sunset slowly transformed back to normal, her face full of anger before turning around.
“Fuck it. You didn’t put forth the effort for a hundred years, why should I care...” She said putting her blade away. All the while Samael sat back on one of the statues and laughed grimly. “So, are you ready to free another friend?” He asked. “Not yet... I have one more question... Who is Infinite?” Sunset asked her tone getting serious. Samael lunged at the girl pulling her to his face. “WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT NAME?” He roared in her face. “Some Unicorn on two feet with a mask on her face and a strange gem on her chest appeared before I fought the Dazzling’s saying her name was Infinite and mutated the girls into a three headed monster.” She said as he let her go and begun pacing around. “Noo... this is NOT good... If that dimension hoping demon is helping Calamity Sparkle, then were DOOMED!” He said in actual fear which made Sunset and Rainbow both feel uneasy.
“Infinite is a Unicorn from an alternate reality of Equestria who got trapped inbetween dimensions. She uses the power of an artifact called the ‘Phantom Ruby’ she gained from her old world to warp space and time around to her will. Many from other worlds have tried to stop her, but none have succeeded. Not even the Four Horsemen could defeat her. Infinite is a crazed pony with only one goal, to destroy every dimension in existence.” Sunset frowned slamming her fist into her palm at Samael’s speech. “in that case I better find a way to defeat Calamity Sparkle before Infinite uses her to destroy us all.” She said before turning to Rainbow Dash. “Im gonna need your bike.” She said holding out her hand for the bike’s key’s. Rainbow nodded and tossed them to her afraid to be near the girl now.
Frowning, Sunset made her way over to the bike. “Samael, who am I going after next?” Sunset asked sticking the key’s in the ignition. Samael turned pointing to the west. “Your friend Rarity is trapped in Las Pegasus’s subway system. Im sure your new abilities are gonna come in handy. But before you go, a warning. In order to get there, you will need to confront someone from your past... as well as a woman who helped in the events that started the Great Calamity...” He said clenching his fists. “Guessing you really wanted to punish her as well, right?” Sunset said with a smirk. Samael nodded as she started the bike. “Ill go meet them and get you your next heart.” She said before revving up and popping a wheelie and driving into a tunnel leading towards Las Pegasus.
Calamity Sparkle flung the doors to her throne room open as she stomped in, her ethereal glasses flaring even more than normal. “HOW THE HELL DID THAT GIRL DO THAT?!?!” She yelled as she begun blasting the room up, causing Lilith to dive in terror behind the throne. “WHERE IS INFINITE?!?!?” She screamed. Suddenly a vortex opened behind her as Infinite floated through. “What is the matter my child?” She asked seeing the Shedemon’s angered face and cut over her eye. “How did you obtain that scar?” She asked floating toward Calamity. “THAT BRAT SUNSET SHIMMER! SHE THREW SOME KIND OF CROSSBLADE AT ME, THEN TRANSFORMED INTO SOME KIND OF WARRIOR!” She yelled into Infinite’s face only for her to slap Calamity across the face. “Don’t ever scream at me like that again.” Infinite said calmly as Calamity rubbed the area where the Unicorn slapped her. “Now then... tell me about this transformation...”

Sunset frowned as she made her way down the tunnel. “God, this tunnel is WAY to fucking long.” She said. She was unaware however that she was being watched as Infinite was flying after her. “Having fun Sunset Shimmer?” she asked the girl flying beside her. “GAH! YOU!” Sunset shouted drawing her sword only for Infinite to laugh flying further away.
“Oh, Im not here to fight you.” She said floating ahead of her. Sunset frowned as she got ready to drive away from her only for Infinite to open another portal. “However, THIS IS!” She said as a purple blur flew out blasting the road apart causing Sunset to drive around to dodge the new potholes. “GO NOW METAL LILAC! DESTROY SUNSET SHIMMER!” Infinite yelled before vanishing into another portal. Sunset flipped a switch activating a turbo boost as she landed on the other side of the destroyed road and continued to drive down only for Metal Lilac to begin chasing after her. Sunset looked the robot up and down, noticing how it seemed to resemble a character from a video game series Rainbow Dash tried to get her into, but at the same time, was completely different. It had what looked like metal hair hanging over its face with two large strands from the back. It had robotic claws that looked like it was wearing blue gloves. Meanwhile its feet had small razor sharp gold wings on it’s feet with metallic blue boots. Finally the strange robot had a bluish body with a jet booster built into it’s chest and sticking out its back. Sunset noticed it also seemed to be modeled after a female oddly enough.
The robot’s right hand begun to glow with electricity as it neared her and blasted at Sunset’s head only for the girl to duck and draw out her sword. Metal Lilac begun to power up and fired another energy blast at her only for the swords woman to leap off her bike and swing her blade at the machine’s head, only for it to start spinning throwing its robotic hair around as a barrier knocking Sunset back. Before she hit the ground, Sunset flung her wings out and flew after the robotic dragon. Metal Lilac turned around as her claws began drawing in more energy and glowed bright purple. Sunset pulled out her shield just as the machine fired at her, and with her new strength, knocked the blast away back at the robot, knocking it out of the air and onto the pavement rolling around only for it to land on its metal boots grinding them to slow down before leaping back in the air to regain it’s strength. Sunset watched as the robot finally had its entire body glowing with purple electricity before firing a massive energy wave out of its chest. Sunset tried to block the blast only to be knocked onto the ground.
Standing back up, she hissed in pain before blinking as her eye’s blanked out. “THATS IT! IVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU TIN CAN!” She roared and blasted after the robot, transforming into her new Warrior form and swung her massive sword, flinging a fiery wave at the machine as it tried to blast Sunset again, only for the wave of fire to go right through it and straight into Metal Lilac. The robot once again rolled around before trying to straighten itself out only for Sunset to be right on top of it. Raising her sword, she begun swinging wildly at it, severing it into spare parts leaving a mess on the road until all that was left was just the head. She then threw the head onto the ground only for her motorcycle to drive over it, crushing it into tiny parts as she leapt onto the bike. Suddenly the bike burst into flames as her hand’s touched the handlebars. Laughing, she continued her drive towards Las Pegasus, unaware that Infinite had reappeared over the robot’s remains.
“I see... She gained some of Sparkle’s dark magic in their fight... She now possesses the powers of a Wild Deity... This will make taking her out all the sweeter...” she said before having the parts rebuild into Metal Lilac before opening another vortex.

Sunset burst out of the tunnel as her Wild Deity form faded back into her normal body before skidding to a halt. “That form is gonna take some getting used to...” She muttered looking at a sign she stopped by. “Welcome to Los Pegasus.” She read before looking down the road to the city. “Guess I better get this meeting over with.” She said revving back up before driving into the city. Looking around, it seemed there weren’t anyone living in this city since the Calamity happened. “If no one is here... then who am I supposed to meet?” She muttered only to hear the noise of someone running across the top’s of the building’s. Looking up, she spotted someone leaping over a massive gap between two buildings only to land a few stories down and leapt out a different area of the floor to a third building’s fire escape only to stare at the girl on her motorcycle.
Looking them over, this person had their entire body covered in a cloak minus the bottom of their face revealing their mouth. Sunset watched as the person somehow leapt up the fire escape with the strength of two people as she leapt to yet another building. “WAIT!” Sunset yelled jumping off her bike and opening her wings before going after The Leaper. The Leaper landed back on top of the building before going into a full run getting ready to jump to another building only for Sunset to appear before them in the air and landed on the building. “Wait, I don’t want to hurt you!” She said putting her hands up. The Leaper suddenly looked down only to begin talking to herself. Sunset blinked in confusion thinking she heard two voice’s coming from them, both female. Finally she looked up and pointed to a building.
“We cannot be seen in the open. Meet me there Sunset Shimmer.” She said before leaping off the roof towards the small building. Sunset coulda sworn that voice sounded familiar. Frowning, she leapt off the building using her wings to fly her towards the destination. She landed across the street only to hear the sounds of demon’s stomping out of the shadow’s. Turning behind her, she noticed an army of skeletal warriors began pulling themselves out of the ground. Groaning in annoyance, she drew out her sword and shield only for The Leaper to land beside her. Sunset turned and yelled, “GET INSIDE, ILL HANDLE THESE GUYS!” However, the woman walked forward her mouth a frown. “No. I failed you once. I wont fail you again Sunset.” She said confusing Sunset even more. She then pulled out a massive hammer that looked like no one in existence should be able to wield it, yet she swung it with ease as she shattered ten Skeletal Warriors as they finished climbing out of the ground. Sunset coulda swore she saw their arm, which seemed to be made from two separate people. The Woman then leapt into the air before throwing her hammer into another round of enemies blowing them to dust before landing and picked her hammer up.
“Inside, quickly!” she said before grabbing Sunset’s hand and pulled her inside. Once in, Sunset slammed the door shut and turned to the woman. “Ok, spill. Who are you, and how do you know my name?” She asked putting her weapons away. The woman chuckled looking at her. “What kind of a principle would i be if I forgot my own students?” She asked lifting her hood up. Sunset gasped seeing the face of Principle Celestia there. “Its been far to long Sunset.” She said calmly only for a second muffled voice to be heard causing Celestia to groan. “Whats wrong?” Sunset asked sitting down. “Its... a long story... It'd be easier to show you.” Celestia said and dropped the robe she was wearing revealing her body be a cross between white and light blue with her white breasts resting over a second pair of boobs, while her arms and legs remained white. However, her neck had a scarf over it as a bit of reddish hair stuck out. Undoing the scarf, Celestia revealed a second head was where her neck should of been. “Sunset... Meet Cinch, the ex principle of Crystal Prep.” Celestia said sitting down only wearing underwear.
Sunset shook her head trying to rid any thoughts away and asked, “Im guessing Calamity Sparkle did this to you?” Cinch attempted a nod and frowned. “I don’t know why, I am the one who made her what she is... She should of thanked me!” She said groaning as Celestia sighed giving a facepalm. “You destroyed that poor girl Cinch. She hated you more than anything.” She said before looking up at Sunset, saying “Its been a living hell being stuck to her.” Sunset walked over and gave the two woman a hug only for her mind power to activate.

Cinch continued to run away from the Friendship games as Midnight Sparkle was blasting the school apart. “I can’t believe that girl had so much evil in her. I need to inform the army...” She said only to be lifted off the ground. “AND WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING CINCH?” Midnight Sparkle yelled looking deeply into the principle’s eye’s. “Im gonna repay you for what you did here tonight.” She grinned tapping her horn on the woman’s head scanning her mind for the person she hated the most. “Ah, her... This will be excellent.” Midnight muttered before teleporting them into Celestia’s home.
Celestia walked out of her kitchen with a bowl of ice cream and dropped it screaming only for Midnight to catch it with her magic and returned it to the woman’s hands. “Sorry for breaking in like this, but Im sure you know this woman.” Midnight Sparkle said throwing Cinch onto the floor. “Cinch, what’s going on here?” Celestia asked helping the woman up only for Midnight’s horn to glow as Cinch’s back began to merge into Celestia’s hands. “I figured this would be an excellent punishment for all the years of suffering at her DAMN SCHOOL! BEING STUCK WITH THE PERSON SHE HATES THE MOST!!” Midnight Sparkle yelled getting ready to teleport away only to hug Celestia. “I have no hard feelings for you. But I REALLY hate this bitch!” Midnight said before disappearing. Celestia watched as the woman got closer to her, both their clothes ripping apart as their bodies pressed together merging them into a single body. Celestia soon passed out from fright from what was happening to them.

Sunset let go and frowned. “That is something I will never be able to unsee any time soon...” She said her left lower eyelid raising up showing she was creeped out. Celestia and Cinch looked at each other then at her in confusion. “What are you talking about Sunset?” Celestia asked concerned. Sunset sighed and replied, “Ever since I came back to the world of the living, Ive been able to see into people’s minds when i touch them. I just saw Midnight Sparkle fuse you both together.” Cinch frowned at hearing this and scoffed. “I see. Your one of those people who are responsible for bringing magic into this world.” She said with venom in her voice.
Sunset sighed and turned around grabbing her arm. “No... Im THE one who brought magic here. Everyone else who was affected is on me.” She said sadly. Celestia frowned at Cinch and grabbed Sunset by her shoulders saying, “Sunset, I don’t blame you for this. I still blame the true Anon-A-Miss.” Sunset turned around to her and gave a soft smile. “Thanks Celestia.” She said and gave the women a hug. Celestia returned the hug as Cinch suddenly blinked at what they were talking about.
“Wait, YOUR Sunset Shimmer? The girl who ended her life due to Anon-A-Miss?” She asked to which Sunset nodded. “If thats the case, how are you standing here before us?” Cinch asked. Celestia crossed their arms thinking. “Cinch does have a point. You died in your apartment one hundred years ago... There’s no way you can be standing before us now.” She said with suspicion in her voice. Sunset sat down confused and stared at the ceiling. “Your right to be suspicious. But... the truth is I don't know how I came back... I just know one moment i slit my wrists, the next, I wake up in a pool of blue liquid in my apartment’s basement in just my bra and panties with my wrists healed.” She said frowning.
“I see... well that is a mystery indeed.” Cinch said. Nodding, Sunset sat back up and looked out the window as she began to explain her mission to the joined principle’s. “I see... So your after Rarity next in the subways?” Celestia asked. Sunset nodded standing up. “I should probably be on my way. Time is short and I know my journey is far from over.” She said heading to the door only for Celestia to grab her shoulder. “Your not getting there without us.” Cinch said looking up at her bodymate. Celestia nodded as the girl turned around to the joined women. “Only we know the way to the old subway station. And Your sure to be spotted by Sparkle’s army on the way there. You need us.” Celestia said as they grabbed their giant hammer.
Sunset looked the women up and down. “You think its smart to fight in just bra and panties?” She asked as the two blushed forgetting they were not dressed. “Hang on, well be back.” Cinch said as Celestia walked to their bedroom. Sunset giggled and decided to look around the room noticing the armory the two had in their hiding place. She then heard them return clanking with massive armor covering nearly their entire body. “Were ready.” Celestia and Cinch said as Celestia gripped their Black Hammer and spat onto the ground ready for battle.
The trio climbed onto the top of Celestia and Cinch’s home to scout the area before them. “The path ahead will be crawling with monsters, so well have to be quick about this before they are all on top of us.” Cinch said as Celestia gripped their hammer extra tight. Nodding, Sunset leapt off the building to the ground below followed soon by Celestia and Cinch. They then dashed toward Sunset’s motorcycle and leapt on it only to hear a horn blast in the distance.
“Shit, they must have spies around here.” Celestia said strapping her hammer to their back only to pull two pistols out from her armor as Sunset started the bike up. “Ill drive, you shoot!” Sunset said looking at the merged women before she took off down the highway, pulling her sword out. As they drove out of the block they were at, they soon heard the roaring sound of hoof steps following them. Celestia spun around spotting an army of Skeleton’s riding on what appeared to be Skeleton horses after them.
“Course it would be undead warriors...” Celestia said before pulling the trigger on one of her pistols aimed right at one of the horse’s head, blowing it clean off causing the horse to fall apart throwing its rider off onto the road. Roaring, the undead warrior stood up about to give chase only to get run over by his team. “Not very bright, are they?” Sunset said looking at what she just witnessed in the mirror. “We can use that to our advantage!” Cinch said as Celestia twirled their guns on her fingers before shooting two more skeletons off their horses only to knock one of their weapons out of their hand and into another skeleton’s head knocking its head off. It then patted its neck wondering where its head went only to be shot apart by Celestia.
“Shit, at this rate, well have them taken down before were even halfway there!” She shouted at Sunset only to watch as something flew over the remains of the skeletons. “What is that?” Cinch asked as Sunset looked into the mirror and frowned. “Infinite... Why the hell is she so hellbent on taking me down?” She said gripping her sword more. They watched as the gem on her chest glowed bright as she then fired a beam at all the undead warriors. The undead warriors that had fallen slowly started getting back up, their eye sockets now glowing blood red as their horses returned them them and began giving chase again.
Infinite gave a blood chilling laugh and pointed at the trio. “DESTROY THEM! MAKE SURE THEY NEVER REACH THE SUBWAY!” She screamed before warping out of existence. The undead army began charging after them once more, weapons raised as some of them began raising bow’s at them. "Shit..." Sunset said gritting her teeth as she watched them gaining ground catching up to them. Celestia stood on the back of the bike as she aimed her pistols at them and began unloading her loaded clips onto them, only to curse under her breath as the skeleton's now began blocking her shots with their swords and shields. Noticing, Sunset drove over to the side of the street and began slashing her sword at the light poles knocking them over.
Celestia and Cinch watched as it landed on a few of them, taking them down as the others dodged them as they begin firing arrows at the riders. Celestia tried shooting the arrows out of the air only to run out of ammo. "FUCK!" She yelled putting her pistols away and spun around as Sunset began to stand up. "Take over! Im gonna try something!" She yelled leaping into the air pulling out her crossblade. Celestia quickly grabbed the handles as she watched the teen fling the boomerang like weapon at the skeletons, tearing the front of the pack apart as the rest of the horde tramples over their remains. Grinning as the blade returned to her, she swung her sword down, her hands glowing as she slammed into the ground, sending a massive shockwave from the ground pound knocking the rest of the front the pack off their horses.
Sunset stood back up as she noticed the next wave charging at her. She grinned as her wings burst out from behind her shield and flew into the air as she begun flying at the riders, swinging her sword at them as she cut their arms and heads off. She then landed on one of the skeleton horses and kicked its rider off and mounted the horse as two more riders rode up beside her. "COME ON! I CAN TAKE YOU ALL ON!" She yelled as she swung her sword around in a circle taking out both riders. She smirked only for two more skeletons to ride ahead of her with spears and they get ready to try to impale her. Opening her wings back up, she leapt back into the air just as they attempted to attack her only to land on their spears, using her ground pound to fling them off their horses.
Grinning, she watched them sail into the air and into three more riders behind her and sighed not seeing anymore skeletons. She then spun around and grabbed the reigns, leading the dead horse to Celestia and Cinch before leaping behind them as they continued driving down the road. "Good work Sunset!" Cinch said as Sunset put her blade away smiling. They suddenly heard a massive rumbling and Sunset looked behind them only to gasp. The bones of all the skeletons were flying towards them in a storm only to fly past them and slam into the ground before them causing Celestia to screech to a halt. They watched as they began to rebuild themselves into a massive horse with a massive skeleton lord being built on top of the horse, wielding a massive sword.
"This cant be good..." Sunset said reaching for her blade. The massive warrior spun its horse around and began galloping away from them, slamming its sword into the ground trying to split the road apart. Celestia started back up Sunset's bike and began driving after the titan. "NO WAY YOUR GOING TO LOSE US!" Sunset yelled as she stood up on the back of the bike pulling her sword out getting ready to slash at the monster. Suddenly the beast pulled away as the titan pulled its sword out of the ground and raised it skyward firing black lightning down at the trio. Celestia started swerving trying to avoid the lightning as Sunset leapt onto the front of the bike towards the horse, then using her wings, leapt over the titan and onto the front of the horse before spinning around facing it.
The skeleton looked down at her and raised its sword towards her before dropping it. Sunset quickly pulled out her shield and did a quick shield bash knocking his sword back before leaping at him, throwing her crossblade at him as it began to grind away at his right arm. She then landed on its chest and began slashing away at it. At about six slashes in, the titan regained his senses and swung back at Sunset with his right fist only for Sunset to leap out of the way, grabbing the crossblade and ripping it out of its arm, weakening it as the monster punched its chest only to have the spot where she was standing shatter along with the joint where her crossblade was snap having its arm fall off.
The beast roared and raised its left arm up opening a wormhole up and shoving its arm into it. Sunset landed on the bike only to watch the wormhole open before them as the titans hand appeared holding its massive sword before it began to swing rapidly. Celesita quickly aimed for the middle as the sword never actually hit the direct center. "Good thinking!" Cinch told her bodymate as the sword went back into the wormhole as the titan raised its sword up high. Suddenly a dark red cloud appeared above it as it then pointed its sword at the riders, firing balls of dark energy at them. Sunset leapt over the joined ex principle's and swung her sword rapidly knocking all the dark energy back at the massive skeleton, slowing it down tremendously. She then grinned and leapt back onto it, throwing her crossblade into its left arm forcing it to drop its sword in pain as she began slashing again at its chest, working her way to its spine.
As soon as she reached it however, the skeleton's massive hand grabbed her and pulled her out of its chest, throwing her back at Celestia and Cinch. The merged pair grabbed Sunset throwing her onto the bike then leapt off the bike causing Sunset to grab the handle as they leapt at the titan pulling out their massive hammer and swung it at its spine, smashing it to pieces causing the skeleton to finally fall apart in defeat as they landed on the bike behind Sunset as the continued to make their way towards the subway station.

"So, this is where Rarity is being held." Sunset said as they looked around the forgotten remains of the train station. Celestia walked forward towards the basement door of the station to kick down so Sunset could get inside only to hear the glass shatter above them. Sunset looked up to see an angel smash through, their wings blocking most of the glass as they landed before her. Sunset drew her weapon out as the angel stood up before her, revealing it to be a woman. Sunset suddenly put her hand to her head in pain as a memory began to play in her head.

“Wha... Where am I?” Sunset asked, her voice sounding faint. “Sunset Shimmer, I have brought you back to your apartment to be resurrected the the young man standing by me.” A strange pale man said pointing to a young man wearing a blue tunic and a black hood behind him.
Sunset blinked, her eyes empty as she looked at the pale man, the hooded man, and the angel that she just witnessed land before her. “Why... why would you try to bring me back to this nightmare of a world?” She asked them. The angel stepped forward, explaining, “Miss Shimmer, my name is Uriel of the hellguard. We have information that states you are supposed to be alive to face and defeat an evil that has not come yet, but you taking your life has left no one left to fight. As much as I know it hurts you, we need you alive.”
Sunset gave a small nod before looking at the hooded man. “So why are you helping them out? What do you get out of this?” She asked. Stepping forward, he grabbed Sunset’s bloody hands and looked into her eye’s. “I get my little sister back.” He said before hugging her remains. Sunset blinked clearly confused as he stepped back. “Im sorry, but Ive never met you in my life.” She said not understanding what he was going on about. “You... don’t know me? How can you not remember me?” He asked only for the man to touch his shoulder. “We don’t have much time left. We need to put her in that chamber before her body falls apart.” Nodding as he wiped away his tears, he turned back to Sunset and said, “I guess we can talk after you wake up and defeat this evil.” Nodding, she replied, “Looking forward to it.” She then laid down in the chamber and added, “Thank you for this.”

Sunset blinked at the memory she just experienced. "What was that about?" She muttered before staring at the Angel who looked at her, eyes now clouded. "Uriel... your Uriel, right?" She asked only for the angel to charge at her with her blade. "GAH!" Sunset yelled leaping out of the way as she charged past slamming into a wall. Upon seeing this, Celestia and Cinch ran over pulling out their hammer. "Go, Sunset, well hold her off while you free Rarity!" they yelled getting ready to battle the angel. Nodding, Sunset ran towards the basement door, before yelling back, "Dont kill her! I want to talk to her after this!"
