An artifact and an accident takes Sweetie Belle to a world full of humans, and it's not Canterlot High. She makes a new friend in a local farm girl named Megan Williams, who is willing to help her get home, leading Megan on a great adventure.
Grogar sends Jet, a lizard spy known for using Shadow stones for cancelling magic, to steal the Star of Worlds, a star with the power to transport the user to any world, after Twilight is entrusted with it. When Jet steals it, Sweetie Belle tries to stop him, causing the star to take them to a human world that is not Canterlot High. While there, Sweetie Belle makes a new friend in Megan Williams, a local farm girl, who helps Sweetie Belle get home, and leads Megan on the adventure of a lifetime.
In the jungles of Southern Equestria, Daring Do traverses through bushes and palm leaves on another adventure that she would be writing about pretty soon. The mosquitoes buzz by, one of them even getting ready to have pegasus blood for dinner before Daring Do swatted it away with no problem at all.
A change of pace comes to her in the form of a meadow, where a temple completely covered in golden stars sat. A happy and excited smile comes to her face because she found what she was looking for.
“The Temple of Stars!” she said.
She gallops to the temple like a pony in a Running of the Leaves Marathon until she stops at the entrance.
‘Okay. Now how do I get inside?’ she wonders to herself.
She looked around for something that could help open the door. She found the answer to her question in the form of a puzzle on the wall. It consisted of ten stars with archaic Equestrian numbers, and each of them were in the exact same position.
‘It’s a good thing the princesses lent me a piece of paper to help me crack the temple’s code.’ she thought.
She gets out an old looking piece of paper that was the very thing she needed to crack the code and get inside the temple.
“Okay, let’s see...”
She looks at the wall puzzle one more time to make sure she counted the number of stars right. When she was sure she was right, she looked back at the piece of paper intently to have everything memorized.
“Star 5 is the first number.”
She pushed the fifth star like it was button.
“Star 2 is the second number.”
She pushed the second star.
“Star 9 is the third number.”
She pushed the ninth star.
“Star 3 is the fourth number.”
She pushed the third star.
“Star 0 is the fifth number.”
She pushed the zero star.
“Star 1 is the sixth number.”
She pushed the one star.
“And Star 4 is the final number.”
She pushed the fourth star to complete what was apparently a seven-digit number code.
Within a second, the rest of the number buttons slowly come to the same height as the pressed buttons, and the door to the temple slowly opens to grant Daring Do entry inside.
Daring Do goes inside without any hesitation at all.
Little did Daring Do know however that the jungle mosquitoes weren’t the only ones watching her. In the bushes of the jungle, six pairs of eyes watched her as she was succeeding in her mission.
It was Ahuizotl, and his cat gang. As with many adventures, they were here for the same reason: to get the Star of Worlds. The only difference being that they want to use it to free Grogar from a prison made by Starswirl the Bearded. Ahuizotl chortles to himself, knowing that everything was going according to plan so far.
“That’s right Daring Do. Be the heroic adventurer that you always are. After all, the ending of your latest book will be different when I snatch it from you, and you lose.” Ahuizotl says.
He chortles to himself again.

Inside the temple, Daring Do follows the stars down the hallway like she was following constellations made by Princess Luna. She keeps trotting carefully until she sees an altar with a golden star amulet.
“There it is!” Daring Do excitedly says, “The Star of Worlds! The greatest magic ever to have been made by Star Swirl the Bearded himself!”
And greatest magic she was right. According to Equestrian Legend, the Star of Worlds contains the same magic as the Crystal Mirror. It is said to have the power to take anyone to where they command to go, not just a different part of Equestria, but lands, worlds, and universes beyond it.
“After all these years, it has finally been found,” Daring Do says, “Once I get it, Grogar will have no means to escape the exile spell.”
With pride she walks straight for the star. But just when she thought everything would be okay, she accidently stepped on a button that had apparently set off a trap. A panel lifts, revealing a mess of star-shaped shuriken. Daring Do dodges them, but another panel opens on the opposite wall, the ceiling, and the floor. More shuriken shoot at her, but with excellent grace Daring Do flies and dodges in every direction until the shuriken finally run out. An exhausted Daring Do wipes the sweat off her head while she catches her breath.
“Should’ve seen that coming,” she says.
She grabs the Star with her wing and puts it around her neck. Then, she runs out of the temple with lightning speed.

Outside, before she can get far from the temple, Ahuizotl’s cats appear out of nowhere and surround Daring Do in a tightly made circle. There was nowhere out for her to run. Things only got more critical for her when Ahuizotl appears before her, a smug grin on his face.
“You are surrounded, Daring Do,” he says arrogantly, “Now hand me the star, lest you want your hide ripped to pieces!”
“Sorry Ahuizotl, but no can do,” she tells him, “If you want it, you’ll have to take it from me to get it.”
“Very well,” he says.
And with a snap of Ahuizotl’s tail-hand fingers, the tiger in the group leaped toward Daring Do to rip her apart. But Daring Do wasn’t going down that easily. When the tiger got close enough, she was able to slide under him, causing him to miss his target and land on his feet.
The panther was then able to take Daring Do by surprise by leaping onto her and holding onto her front hooves. However, it didn’t take long for Daring Do to to use her back hooves to kick the panther in the belly, and send him into the air falling on his back.
The lynx was the next cat to attack her by jumping onto her back, and try to grab the Star of Worlds with his claws, but Daring Do jostled him off like a bull.
The cheetah was the next to attack, but he was beaten down by Daring Do when she gave him a karate kick.
Deciding enough was enough, Daring Do started to fly away for safety sake. But before she could get high enough away from the bad guys, the tiger attacked her again by jumping on her and going for her wings. Daring Do gives the tiger a barrel roll in the sky, sending him falling down, but one of the tiger’s clawed paws scratched her wing. She grunts in pain and falls to the ground on top of the scratched wing, injuring it more. She fell faced away from Ahuizotl.
She tries to get up from her fall, but not before Ahuizotl’s shadow looms over her, blocking the sun from her view save for rays of it shining past him and his menacing grin.
“Now then, Daring Do,” he says before extending his hand, “Give me the Star of Worlds, and I will let you get out of my sight, alive.”
Daring Do didn’t have a choice. It was the amulet. Or her life. She sighs with a look of defeat.
“Alright, Ahuizotl,” she says, “It’s all yours.”
Using her uninjured wing, she grabs the Star of Worlds off of her neck. She hands Ahuizotl the amulet, and he clutched it tightly in his hand.
“Thank you for your cooperation.” Ahuizotl smugly says.
With defeat at her side, she galloped away with speed like that of a racing pony as Ahuizotl watched her leave.
Ahuizotl laughs as he held the amulet in his grip.
“At last!” he says triumphantly, “After all these years, Master Grogar can be free of Starswirl’s prison! And he and his army can finally make Equestria suffer!”
His wild cats roar with joy at how successful things were turning out for everyone.
But their moment was cut short when Ahuizotl caught the faintest scent of paint from somewhere.
“Hmmm? Is that...paint?”
His cats then start to notice the smell as well.
They felt confused.
Why was there the smell of paint?
Ahuizotl’s head and nose scanned the smell. He knew it was coming from somewhere close by. But where? His question was soon answered when his nose tracked the scent directly to his...hand.
“What?”
He opened his hand, still seeing the amulet he was holding. But suddenly, he noticed a smudge of paint on his palm, and some kind of blank spot on the side of the jewel.
That’s when he realized that this was not the Star of Worlds. It was a fake!

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!”
Ahuizotl’s scream was so powerful, it was enough to make a group of startled parrots fly into the sky from the tops of the trees.

Daring Do smiled as she ran.
As it turned out, she knew that they would be coming, so she took the time to make a copy of the amulet, using it as a decoy so that Ahuizotl wouldn’t try to empty her pockets for it. It worked.
She ran further into the jungle, getting as far away as possible from her enemies until she was certain she was safe. Her galloping came to a stop when she came to a clearing surrounded by trees.
“Perfect,” she says to herself, “Hopefully Ahuizotl won’t catch up to me.”
But her moment of being alone was short lived.
“Come back here, Daring Do!”
Ahuizotl was close by. And closer than she thought apparently, because he and his cats crashed through a bush, angry, and now more determined to get the amulet. She knew there was only one means of escape for her now.
“To Canterlot!” Daring Do shouts at the star.
The star suddenly glows bright, blinding Daring Do, Ahuizotl, and the Cats. In a matter of seconds, a portal appeared out of thin air. Daring Do was the first to recover from the star’s shine, and she immediately flew through. Ahuizotl rubbed his eyes to recover from the shine, but when they opened, all he could do was watch in humiliation as the portal closed before he could do anything else.
Ahuizotl, angry that he lost the amulet, roars in fury before he uses his hand to smash a rock that was beside him, breaking it in two.
“Curse you, Daring DO!!!!” he cries as he weeps for his defeat.
Suddenly, a small ringing sound, a lot like that of a cellphone, sounds out from his necklace. Knowing who it was, he takes out a violet ruby attached to his necklace. With a rub of his thumb he makes a magic window appear out of thin air. It was Grogar, and he was calling him by magic mirror.
“Ahuizotl. Have you recovered the Star of Worlds?” Grogar asks.
“Would almost count as something, Your Darkship Sir?” he nervously asks.
At the sound of that question and voice, Grogar realizes that he messed up.
“YOU SEED-HEADED CANINE!! DARING DO ESCAPED YOUR GRASP AND GOT AWAY WITH THE STAR, DIDN’T SHE?!”
“Uhh…Will you hurt me if I say yes?” Ahuizotl asks as he smiles sheepishly.
In response to that question, Grogar growls at him like an angry reptilian monster.
“I’ll try again, Sire! I swear!”
“Enough!”
Ahuizotl and the cats grew frightened at how furious their master became, giving a look of fright visible to Grogar.
“I have grown tired of waiting because of your incompetence. It’s time I call in a specialist to retrieve the star.”
“Really? Who, Master?”
“Who else do you think! My top chameleon spy, Jet!”
“What?! No! Not Jet! Even Daring Do doesn’t deserve that sneaky lizard!”
“All the more reason why he is perfect for this job!”
Grogar laughs maniacally as Ahuizotl and his cats continue to show a scared look on their faces. They knew that the heroes of Equestria were really in for it now.
In Ponyville, Discord and Thorne are settling their rivalry over Fluttershy with an arm wrestling contest in Sweet Apple Acres. Nearby, Rep, Catrina, and Applejack watch in disbelief. Catrina and Rep felt like they were getting headaches at how ridiculous this was getting, and Applejack felt like she was getting bored and agitated about how long this sort of thing has been happening.
“Dagnabbit! Are they ever gonna put an end to this here fracas?” a frustrated Applejack says, “Nightmare Night was two weeks ago.”
“Tell that to them,” Rep says.
Things began to have a chance of pace for them though when they saw the Cutie Mark Crusaders with luggage and sleeping bags. Tonight, they are heading off to have a sleepover at Twilight’s castle.
Applejack, Rep, and Catrina leave Discord and Thorne to their arm-wrestling match and walk over to the young fillies.
“Got everything for your sleepover, Apple Bloom?” Applejack asks.
“Sure do, Sis,” Apple Bloom replies.
“What a bad time for that last rainstorm to cause a leak at our clubhouse,” Scootaloo says.
“But at least Twilight is nice enough to let us sleepover at her castle,” Sweetie Belle says.
“Don’t worry about that, Kids,” Rep assures them, “I’m gonna be helping Applejack fix that leak.”
“Speakin’ of fixin’, how long have Thorne and Discord been fixin’ each other’s red wagon?” Apple Bloom asks.
“For the arm wrestlin’ contest, two hours,” Applejack says, “Overall, two weeks.”
“And what a two weeks it was,” Catrina says, “Extreme flying races, swimming races, fruit flinging, pillow fights…”
“And let’s not forget the paintball war that ruined the Carousel Boutique,” Applejack says.
“I know. Rarity is still recovering from her wrecked clothes,” Sweetie Belle says.

Rarity is on her fainting couch surrounded by her paint-stained clothes, crying while eating ice cream.
“Why!?! Why?!! Oh WHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!” she cries horribly.
Nearby, as she eats another scoop of ice cream, her cat Opalescence watches as she drowns herself in misery.

At Twilight’s castle, Twilight and Spike are in the kitchen preparing some snacks for the Cutie Mark Crusaders’ sleepover.
“I can’t wait for the Crusaders to come over,” Twilight says as she prepared cupcakes.
“I know right. It’s not everyday that they get to spend the night here in the castle,” Spike responds.
As Twilight puts the finishing touch of icing on some cupcakes, Spike without warning makes a large burp. They find that it was a message from Princess Celestia. Twilight reads the message and sees how urgent it is.
“Spike, I’m needed in Cantorlot!” Twilight ways, “Can you take over the preparations until I get back?”
“Sure thing, Twilight,” Spike says with a salute.
Twilight speeds out of the kitchen as Spike pours some pretzels into a big bowl.
‘I sure hope it’s nothing serious,’ he hopes to himself.

Twilight flies to Canterlot with all the flying power her wings carried. Canterlot citizens look on as she flies in the sky, even Fancy Pants & Fleur Dis Lee notice her, giving her a wave of greeting as she soars. She stops at the doors of Princess Celestia’s castle and enters without hesitation. She gallops to the doors of the throne room, opens them, and steps inside, seeing Celestia waiting for her.
“I came as quickly as I could, Princess Celestia,” Twilight said while catching her breath.
“Twilight, we have something important to ask of you,” Celestia says.
“We?”
It was then that Twilight noticed that Daring Do was here with them, the only difference being that she was wearing a healing cast on her wing.
“Daring Do? What are you doing here?”
“Twilight, have you ever heard of the Star of Worlds?” Daring Do asks.
“It’s one of Starswirl the Bearded’s greatest artifacts. It is said to take you to worlds beyond Equestria. Why?” Twilight says.
Without a problem, Daring Do uses her good wing to reach into her shirt pocket and hand something to Celestia. Using her magic, Celestia held the Star of Worlds in the air.
Just by looking at it, Twilight was amazed to be seeing it in person, her mouth agape at the sight.
“Grogar had sent Ahuizotl to retrieve it,” Celestia explains, “Daring Do managed to get it away from him, but we need your help in guarding it. If Grogar ever gets the Star, he would use its magic to break the exile spell and finally unleash his army. That is why we are asking you to guard it, Twilight.”
“But why me? Why not keep it safe here in Canterlot?” Twilight asks.
“Grogar knows me better than anyone or anypony else. He knows all the seal spells that I use and how to break them,” Celestia explains, “But you created new magic of your own, and Grogar doesn’t know about you. I know the Star of Worlds will be safe in your hooves.”
“Plus, you won’t be guarding it alone,” says Shining Armor as he comes in.
“Shining Armor!” Twilight says as she hugs him.
“I’m gonna provide my shield through the night, just in case.”
“This will only be a temporary arrangement until we can decide what to do with the star,” Daring Do says.
Shining Armor and Twilight end their hug.
“As the Princess of Friendship, I will do my duty and help protect Equestria,” Twilight vows.
“I know you will,” Celestia proudly says.
Celestia then flies over to Twilight, and they hug one another, knowing that everything will be fine.
Daring Do watched close by. She couldn’t resist smiling at the heart warmth that this family was sharing.

What the ponies don’t know is that a huge, blue, big-goat beast with a bell around his neck has been spying on them: Grogar. He was spying on them from his palace by using a crystal ball, and he has found out what Celestia’s plan is.
“So, there’s a new alicorn princess of Equestria, and Celestia is trusting her with the Star. Interesting,” he says, “At least I know where it will be. Tonight, I shall summon my best spy to retrieve it right from their noses.”
Shining Armor and Twilight arrive back at the Friendship Castle. Surprisingly, it didn’t take them as long as usual to get there. That was because they decided Star of Worlds a test run by using it to get to the castle. And, they didn’t have to use the door.
“Man! I’m so glad to see that it really works,” Shining Armor says.
“I know right,” Twilight responds with elation, “Starswirl really outdid himself with the Star of Worlds.”
As they stood inside and were about to settle in, Spike comes in, going around looking under some furniture like he was searching for something. But his search came to a halt when he spots Twilight.
“Twilight, back so…” he says, until he stops midway when he sees Shining Armor, “Hey, Shining Armor.”
“Hey, Spike.” Shining Armor responds.
Just then, Twilight gasps because she just remembered something very important.
“Oh no! I forgot! The Cutie Mark Crusaders are having a sleepover here,” Twilight says, “Spike, are the snacks ready?”
“Everything’s all set, Twilight,” Spike replies, “I’m just looking for the first aid kit.”
“The first aid kit? Why do you need that?” Shining Armor asks with a raised eyebrow.
“Applejack came over to the castle with all kinds of scrapes and bruises.”
“What?!” Twilight and Shining Armor say.

Applejack is in the kitchen, and she is covered in well kinds of bruises and cuts with her mane messed up. She even has a black eye. She is waiting for Spike. Her waiting ended when he and Twilight came in.
“Applejack! What happened?” a concerned Twilight asks.
“Thorne and Discord were what happened,” Applejack explains, “Thorne tried to cheat by using some of the grease I use for the wood finish to make Discord lose the arm-wrestling contest. But Discord saw through it because he’s capable of being unaffected by grease. At first, the two polecats started screamin’ at each other, and the last thing I knew, I got these.”
Twilight sighs at how this happened to her friends.
“Should have guessed,” Twilight jeered.
“MmmmHmmm,” Applejack responds before plopping on the ground.
Twilight uses a healing spell on Applejack, making her good as new. Applejack gets up off the ground and looks at her reflection with a shiny and clean frying pan. She smiles at the fact that Twilight helped her get better quickly and without a problem.
“Phew. Thanks, Twilight.”
“I’m glad you’re here, Applejack. I need you to gather the rest of our friends: Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and the Knights. We’ve been given an important task.”
“You’ve got it, Sugarcube.”

A little later, the rest of the Main Six, the Knights, the Crusaders, and Spike were with Twilight, and gathered around in a big circle. Twilight’s friends listened intently to what she was saying, even Pinkie Pie, even though she was also eating popcorn.
“So you see, Celestia has given me the task of guarding the Star of Worlds from Grogar here in the Friendship Castle. But I’m going to need your help to keep Grogar from getting his hooves on it.”
“Sounds like Star Swirl was onto something when he wanted to travel,” Pinkie Pie says, “Can it take me to a world filled with cotton candy trees?”
“Maybe, but we are not taking that chance,” Twilight says, “It’s important we make sure the Star of Worlds is locked up.”
“You’re right, Twilight. If Grogar gets it, he could absorb the magic and break the exile spell,” Scorpan says.
“Which is why I’m here,” Shining Armor says, “With the force field activated over the castle, not even Star Swirl could break it.”
“We’re all gonna take turns guardin’ that star,” Applejack says, “But what about the kids? Apple Bloom is gonna be disappointed to have her sleepover cancelled.”
“Don’t worry about it, Sis,” Apple Bloom says, “We can help guard the Star along with you.”
“There’s always safety in numbers,” Sweetie Belle adds, “Besides, we don’t know who Grogar is gonna send. It could be anyone.”
“Sweetie Belle’s right,” Rep says, “There are some chameleons like me who follow Grogar’s rule and serve as spies. He could send any one of them over.”
“Fear not!” a bandaged Thorne speaks up, “With me guarding the Star, what can go wrong?”
Thorne trips over his cane, causing him to fall.
“Where should I start?” Applejack says with an eye roll.

Back at the Castle of Tambelon, where Grogar resides, he is in the throne room with Ahuizotl waiting for his top spy to come in. He then hears the door open, and coming in is a black cat.
“Ohhhh. What an adorable little kitty,” Ahuizotl says as he picks up the cat.
Suddenly, the cat transforms into a huge, humanoid lizard in black armor, crushing Ahuizotl’s hands as he cries in pain. He lets go when he decided he was finished.
“I wish you wouldn’t do that, Jet,” he says.
“But it’s so much fun seeing you squirm,” the lizard called Jet says, “You summoned me, Master Grogar.”
“Indeed, Jet,” Grogar says, “I have a task for you. It seems that the Star of Worlds is a very hard package to deliver, even for Ahuizotl. The location of it is in Ponyville. I need you to pay the village’s castle a visit and take the Star of Worlds right from under the nose of the Princess of Friendship.”
“So you want me to clean up the mess Ahuizotl made earlier today. How riveting.”
Ahuizotl growled to that remark.
“Yes, with your practice in umbrum magic, you will not fail. And should any hindrances occur, I suggest that you, how should I say, get rough.”
Jet maliciously grins when his master made that remark.
“Consider the task done, Sire.”
“Ahuizotl will be your guide to Ponyville. He’ll take you to the castle where the Star resides.”
Jet salutes, and then he turns himself into a bat and flies out the window heading for the castle’s front door. Ahuizotl and Grogar watch as he did.
Ahuizotl looks back to his master with a look of question.
“You sure he’s up for this task?”
Grogar razes at him.
“He better if he doesn’t want to end up with the Rainbow of Darkness once I get it back.”
Ahuizotl shakes in fear.
“When do we leave?” he asks while stretching his color like he’s hot.
That night, at the Castle of Friendship, the CMC have settled in the guestroom next to the throne room. They are having snacks while discussing who they should help with their cutie mark next.
“I say we should help Pipsqueak find his cutie mark first,” Apple Bloom suggests.
“Do the ponies of Trottingham even have cutie marks?” Scootaloo asks.
“I don’t know,” Sweetie Belle says, “I’ll ask what most ponies are talented at in Trottingham and see if he has talent in that department.”
“Good idea, Sweetie Belle,” Apple Bloom says, “By the way, how’s Rarity doing since the paintball incident?”
Sweetie Belle sighs, “Still eating away her problems with ice cream. If only there was a way to wash the paint out.”
“We’ll talk to Twilight about a stain removing spell.”
Before they could go to sleep, they hear someone knocking at the door.
“Come on in,” Scootaloo says.
Thorne comes in through the door.
“Just wanted to check on you, Crusaders,” Thorne says, “Sweetie Belle, your sister is not still upset over the paint war Discord and I had, is she? She really glared at me during the meeting.”
“Well you two did ruin a fashion line that took her weeks to make, Thorne,” Sweetie Belle says.
“I guess I did. I’ll make it up to her once I’m done with guard duty tonight.
Anyway, you kids let me know if you need anything during your sleep over.”
“Okay, Thorne,” the CMC say together, “Good night.”
“Good night, Crusaders,” Thorne says as he yawns.
Thorne closes the door behind him, his cane being heard as he moved along.

While Shining Armor is maintaining the Force Field at the castle, Ahuizotl sent Jet make to Ponyville via portal. Ahuizotl points to the castle for Jet.
“The the Castle of Friendship is just ahead of you,” Ahuizotl informs, “Princess Twilight probably has the Star with her or in the throne room.”
“You stand guard here,” Jet orders, “Less chance of you messing that up.”
Jet changes into a raven and flies up as Ahuizotl glares at him and growls at him.
“One of these days I’ll make that salamander into a purse.” he mutters to himself.

Meanwhile, Jet flies to the area where Shining Armor is standing guard. He lands by on a tree branch, watching as the unicorn did his work.
‘Lucky for me, one of the princess’s friends is an animal lover.’ he thinks to himself.
He is caws to get Shining Armor’s attention until he is spotted by him.
“Hey, little bird!” he greets him, “Are you one of Fluttershy’s pets?”
Jet gives a caw in response to Shining Armor’s question.
“I guess so,” Shining Armor says with a chuckle, “After all, what harm can a bird like you cause.”
“Plenty.” Jet talks back.
“Wha-?”
In lightning fast reflexes, Jet gets out a black shadow stone and flings it at Shining Armor, causing the magic of his horn to short out and knock him out cold.
Jet lands and transforms back into his normal form. He gives a smug grin as he saw the helpless unicorn lying down on the job.
“Sweet dreams, little pony,” Jets whispers as he walks past him.
He approaches the door, but finds that it was locked.
‘Hmmmm? Better to take the scenic route I suppose.’ he thought.
So, he climbs the crystal walls of the castle all the way up to the balcony, where he had no problem going inside.

Jet quietly sneaks down the hallway. He comes to a stop when he sees a light up ahead and Thorne guarding one of the castle rooms.
‘Ahh. That must be the throne room.’ he realizes.
“Why they trusted that idiot known as Thorne; I’ll never know,” he chuckles as he gets out a purple bag. Jet pours some powder onto his hands and blows it at Thorne.
Thorne coughs a little and then falls asleep on the floor.
“Too easy,” Jet says as he walks into the Throne Room.
Sweetie Belle comes out looking tired. Her ears showed feelings of drowsiness and she gave a yawn that signifies it all as well. She walks up to the sleeping Thorne as he snores, lightly touching his shoulder.
“Thorne, I’m thirsty. Can you help me find a glass of water,” she asks him.
But Thorne didn’t respond.
“He must be tired from guard duty. I’ll get water myself and take over for him.”
Sweetie Belle quietly trots to the bathroom to get water.

Back at the throne room, Jet sees the Star of Worlds in a glass case.
“You think a princess would be more secured than this,” he arrogantly says.
Jet is about to open the case when he is shocked by another force field.
****
Sweetie Belle was coming out while drinking water when she hears a zap.
“Huh?”
****
After the field’s defense action stopped, it left Jet’s body smoking a little and electricity crackling up and down.
“My mistake,” he says while rubbing his head.
Jet gets out a few green shadow shadow stones and circles them around the glass cause, causing the force field to short out. Then, he opens the glass case and takes the Star out when he suddenly hears Sweetie Belle’s voice.
“Hello!” she calls out as she comes in.
Thinking fast, Jet decides to transform into Spike, as he thought that it wasn’t suspicious for him to be up at this hour.
“Is anyone here?” Sweetie Belle calls again.
Sweetie Belle walks inside the throne room to see the disguised Jet, who waved to her in a nervous greeting.
“Spike? What are you doing up this late?” Sweetie Belle asks.
“I-I heard a zap coming from here, so I thought I should check on the Star for Twilight,” the Spike disguised lizard lies.
“But I thought only Twilight knew the counterspell for the force field.”
“Indeed, Sweetie Belle,” a woken up Thorne says.
“Thorne!?” he shockingly calls.
“You seem surprised to see me, Spike,” Thorne says with qualms.
“I thought Princess Twilight relieved you of guard duty.”
“Strange. You never called her “Princess Twilight” before.”
Sweetie Belle is confused by both Thorne and Spike’s behavior. Then, Thorne takes out a sapphire gem and flips it to “Spike”.
“Thought you would like a snack since sapphires are your favorite food to eat,” Thorne says.
Jet did not have a choice. If he didn’t bite the gem, his cover was blown. He then bites on the gem, causing his mouth to hurt.
“OW!” he screams as he drops the gem and the Star.
Sweetie Belle gasps when she realized what Thorne was doing: catching a thief.
“You’re not Spike!” she states, “He chews through gems like rock candy!”
“Take off your disguise and fight me like a man, Jet!” Thorne says.
As commanded, Jet changes back into his normal form, facing off against Thorne.
“How did you know it was me!? And how did you avoid my sleep powder!?!”
“You made the mistake of talking! And, I heard and held my breath when I saw the powder!”
Jet chortles to himself at how this outcome came.
“Clever, but not clever enough!”
Then, he grabs a purple stone from his pocket, and throws it onto the floor, releasing smoke everywhere.
Sweetie Belle and Thorne almost couldn’t see anything, and they coughed at how strong it was. But it wasn’t enough for Sweetie Belle to not notice the Star of Worlds being grabbed by two hands, and then disappear in a flash. Then it hit her: Jet got the Star of Worlds! And he was getting away!
“HELP!!!!! HELP!!!!! THIEF IN THE CASTLE!!!!! THIEF IN THE CASTLE!!!!” Sweetie Belle screams, causing everyone to wake up and run out of bed.
Twilight, Spike, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo run out of their rooms and into the hallways, where they see Sweetie Belle and Thorne chasing after Jet as he tries to get away with the star. They were headed their way.
“Twilight! That lizard has the Star!” Spike points.
“And something tells me he’s not one of the good guys!” Apple Bloom says.
“Hey! Stop right there!” Twilight yells as she lights her horn.
But Jet didn’t plan on stopping. The moment he saw and heard the princess up ahead of him, along with the real Spike and two other fillies, he got out another shadow stone. This one being red. He throws it at the four, and when it hit them, it made them go blind in the eyes, giving him enough time and opportunity to run past them, with Sweetie Belle and Thorne still chasing him from behind.
Twilight, Spike, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo recover from the pain they were having with the eyes, the only outcome being that their eyes looked a little red and puffy from the smoke.
Scootaloo gasps when she realizes that Jet slipped past them.
“He’s getting away!” she shouts.

Jet runs outside as Thorne and Sweetie Belle chase after him. He puts the Star in a bag and changes into a stallion to outrun them.
“Stop! Thief!” Sweetie Belle cries.
Sweetie Belle continues to call out loudly as they chase Jet past Sugar Cube Corners, waking Pinkie Pie up, who was wearing her hair in a bun.
“Hey! Nopony invited me to this chase sequence!” Pinkie complains.

Thorne and Sweetie Belle chase Jet past Sweet Apple Acres.
“Come back here you overgrown lizard!” Thorne yells out.
Thorne’s yells was so loud, it woke up Applejack and the rest of her family in the territory.
“Somethin’ tells me that ruckus isn’t good,” Applejack tells her worry.
“Eeyup,” Big Mac says.

Thorne and Sweetie Belle chase Jet past the Canterlot Boutique. Growing tired of them being on his tail, Jet throws more red shadow stones at the two, causing them to a skid to a halt and backtrack the oncoming weapons. Avoiding them caused them to lose Jet, making him get further and further away. The commotion caused a waking Rarity to look out the window, she had her night mask on her forehead and was wearing hair curlers.
“Can’t a lady get some beauty sleep while emotionally recovering?” Rarity complains.
“Get some beauty sleep later, Rarity,” Sweetie Belle says, “The Star of Worlds is being stolen by a weird lizard guy, and it’s not Rep!”
“Oh, well that’s diff...What!?!”
Sweetie Belle and Thorne run ahead to try to catch up to the stallion disguised lizard, leaving Rarity watching with a flabbergasted look.
“Sweetie Belle! Wait!”
“No time!”
Right away, Rarity heads downstairs to get the others in order to help catch Jet.

Meanwhile, Jet was able to successfully allude Sweetie Belle and Thorne, and he hid in some bushes so that no one would spot him. But he knew he couldn’t hide for long, he had to find a way to escape them completely.
‘How am I going to get out of this pony-infested village?’ he wonders.
An idea suddenly pops into his head. An idea he hadn’t thought of before until now.
‘Of course! The Star is the key to my escape! And with it, I can take it straight to Master Grogar without any trouble at all!’
He gets out the Star from the bag to use its magic, a smug grin on his face at how smart of a plan it was.
“Take me to Grogar!” he commands the Star.
The moment he said his command, the Star began to crackle with electricity, glow yellow, and then float in the air. But then, the Star shorted, turned a dull color, and then started to fall to the ground. Lucky for him, he caught it.
“What?!”
He got up off the ground to try activating it again.
“I said, take me to Grogar!”
But the Star shorted out again. It seemed that when he said the name “Grogar” the amulet stopped working.
The Mane 6, the Crusaders, and the Knights suddenly appear.
“Looks like Starswirl put in a safeguard on that Star to make sure Grogar never gets it,” Twilight says.
He looked around himself for an escape route, but he found himself completely surrounded. Everyone around him was ready for anything, even Pinkie, the only difference between her and the others being that she was eating a cupcake as she stared intently at him.
“It’s over, Jet!” Scorpan says.
Jet turns his head to see Scorpan speaking to him. He turns himself back into his normal form as he faced him.
“Scorpan,” he says casually, “I see the years have been kind to you and the rest of your three rebel misfits.”
“Save the talk for later, Jet,” Scorpan responds, “Hand over the Star, and no one gets hurt.”
“Never!”
Catrina steps forward.
“Why the persistence, Jet?” she asks, “You’re surrounded. You’ll never get to Grogar with the Star.”
“But I can still take it somewhere where you’ll never find it!” he angrily says, “Take me as faraway from the ponies as you can!”
The Star once again crackled with electricity, glowed yellow, and floated in the air. It magically opens a portal to a random location.
Jet grabs the Star and diabolically laughs at how successful his command came.
“Oh no you don’t!” Sweetie Belle says as she grabs the Star with her mouth.
“Let go, you one-horned runt!”
Both struggle to take the Star from each other, pulling and pulling, but no matter how hard they tried their wills to accomplish their goals kept one of them from getting it. But Jet accidentally slips, causing him and Sweetie Belle to both fall into the portal with screams as it disappears behind them.
“SWEETIE BELLE!!!!” Rarity screams as she faints.
The others are in horror, not knowing where Sweetie Belle fell into with Jet. It could be anywhere?! Even in another world?!

Sweetie Belle and Jet are falling through a tunnel of colorful lights as they both pull on the Star of Worlds.
“Give me that, you little four-legged narwhal!” he ordered Sweetie Belle harshly as he tried pulling it away from her.
“No!” Sweetie Belle yells with a tug.
But when she made that tug, it caused her to let go of the Star, allowing Jet to make his getaway fast through a hole the end of the tunnel before it closed behind him.
It was then that she realized she was falling, and she screamed because of how fast gravity was taking her. Her scream came to a halt though when she saw the hole at the end of the tunnel open up again. A relieved smile came to her knowing that she found a way out. A flash of light from the hole came before her as she entered through it.
Sweetie Belle finally makes it to the end of the tunnel and lands on the ground with a grunt.
“Where am I?” she asks herself.
Sweetie Belle looks at her surroundings. She sees...trees. Pine trees that appeared to be on two separate sides. She looked down on the ground to find that what was dividing the sides was a road, the kind that places like Manehattan have.
“Something tells me I’m not in Equestria anymore,” she says, “I’ve got to find that lizard before he finds the Star and gets home without me.”
But her moment of just standing in one spot was interrupted when she hears a very loud and strange honking noise. Hers ears perk up high, and swivel in the direction behind her. She turns around to see what was behind her, and gasps at what she sees: a giant carriage that looked like it was made of metal, and was running on wheels (a giant 18-wheeler truck). It was coming awfully close to where she was.
“Ahhhhh!!!” she screams in fright.
Before the carriage could hit her, she leaped out of the way to the other side of the road, and covered her eyes in fright. She opens them to see the carriage passing by, and going further away from her.
But Sweetie Belle wasn’t safe yet! Another strange carriage (a normal truck) was headed her way, this one going the opposite direction as the other. It honked at her like the other one did, and she immediately jumped out of the way again. She watched it as it passed by. But already, another carriage (a hot rod) was coming her way with super speed! Opposite the other carriage! Deciding she had enough, she ran onto one of the sides consisting of forest and watched it go down the street, gasping for breath as she did.
Sweetie Belle suddenly sees a huge, red sign, with an arrow that was pointing east. The same direction two of the carriages went. She reads what it says.
“Paradise Estates. Five miles ahead! Maybe the ponies there can help me,” she says with hope.

A while later, Sweetie Belle’s nonstop five mile trek takes her to a small hill. There, she spots from the top a farm up ahead. It had a large red barn, a farmhouse, a shed, a chicken coop, fenced areas full of sheep, cows, and pigs, and there was even a garden full of vegetables such as carrots and lettuce, with a scarecrow to protect it.
“There it is!” Sweetie Belle says with elation.
Glad to see the farm up ahead, she runs toward it so that she could ask a pony or two to help her. She makes it to the front gate where it has a sign that says “Paradise Estates”, opening it slightly so that she could enter the ranch. It did creak a little, but it wasn’t enough to cause any kind of commotion, nor was it enough to make Sweetie Belle worry or get nervous.
She begins to close the gate. But as she did, she suddenly hears a noise, a crashing sound, like something fell on the floor. Her ears swivel in the direction it came from. Inside the house.
She looks to see what that noise was, only to instead see a shadow. It wasn’t the shadow of a pony, nor of any other creature she knew, but of something else. She didn’t know who or what that creature is but it looked like it had a weapon in its hand and was headed straight for the door. Scared to find out what could possibly happen, she makes haste for some rose bushes, hiding herself so that whoever it was couldn’t see her.
She hid just in time, because the creature was opening the door and headed on the front porch. When it came into view, she got a good look at what this new creature looked like. It was a pinkish-white creature, and it looked to be of a male build. He had blue eyes, blonde hair and mustache, was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. He was also carrying a weird stick of some sort. Sweetie Belle didn’t know what to make of this creature.
‘What is that thing?’ she wonders.
He got off the front porch, and was looking around for something, scratching his head like he was very confused. It really wasn’t until he noticed something about the gate that he did more than just stand around.
He walked over to the gate to find that it wasn’t all the way closed, much to Sweetie Belle’s horror. The latch of the gate didn’t connect to the gate bar to close it completely. He closed the gate all the way so that it wasn’t left the way it is currently.
“Danny!” he calls out.
When he called that name, another pinkish-white creature poked its head out of a window at the top of the house. It looked to be a boy. He had dusty orange hair, light blue eyes, a red and white ball cap with a dark blue bill, and a light blue shirt.
“Yay, Dad!” another voice responds.
“Did you forget to lock the gate again?” Danny’s father asks.
“No! I didn’t forget to lock it!” Danny responded while crossing his arms.
But his father wasn’t going to believe him that easily, because he gave his son a look that he knew what he was trying to pull.
“Okay, I did forget. But I was going to come back and check on it later. I swear.” Danny said truthfully.
“I understand, son. But next time, don’t wait a while just to come back and do something like this.” Danny’s father told him.
“Okay, Dad.”
The father and son look at each other for a moment, silence being the only thing in the air.
“Wanna play a board game?” The father asks.
“Ah, board games are too old-fashioned for me today,” Danny responds, “How about poker?”
“Okay by me.”
The father strolls on into the house as Sweetie Belle watched him go in, and watches the one called Danny disappear into the house to meet with his dad. When they were gone, Sweetie Belle came out of the bushes knowing that the coast was clear. What she just saw astonished her greatly! Creatures that she never saw before! A family too!
“Now I know I’m not in Equestria anymore,” she says to herself, “But what am I gonna do? How do I know if I can trust any of these new creatures?”
Sitting on her haunches in dismay, she felt like there was no hope for her to go back home.
Suddenly, just when she was about to lose hope and thought that nothing else would happen, the sound of guitar playing comes in the air. Her curiosity peaked and her ears perked high, she follows the music to see where it’s coming from.

It seemed that that the music was coming from all the way past the barn, because the farther away she went from the building, the louder and clearer the music became.
The next thing that came as she got closer though, was singing:
“I know I can do it;
Put my heart to it;
I will do anything,
To earn my wings.”
‘That song is so enchanting. I wonder who that could be?’ she wondered.
Not wanting to wait any longer to find out who it was, she ran past the barn, and past some trees that were many feet away from the building. She found the source of the music when she stops next to a brook.
It was another one of those creatures, this one being of a female build. She was a young fifteen year old girl with shining golden hair in a ponytail and green eyes like an emerald. She was wearing a brown, five-gallon hat, an orange blouse, blue jeans, and a brown vest and boots.
‘Wow. That girl creature is so beautiful.’ she thought.
As soon as the music stopped though, Sweetie Belle realized that she was out in the open and wasn’t hidden from sight. If the girl turned around, she would see her.
She decides to back away. But just as she did, she accidentally steps on a twig, causing it to crack loudly and alert the girl creature’s attention. The girl turns around and sees her.
“Oh. Hello there,” the girl says with a smile.
The girl approaches Sweetie Belle. But as she did, Sweetie Belle shyly backs away with her ears flopped on her head. She wasn’t sure what the girl in front of her would do if she saw she was a unicorn.
Seeing this, the creature kneels down to help her not feel so intimidated, and puts her hand out so that she can know she isn’t a threat.
“It’s okay, little one,” the girl says softly, “You don’t have to be afraid of me.”
Sensing that the girl wasn’t dangerous, Sweetie Belle slowly approaches her. When she came close enough, the creature gently petted her mane like one would do with a dog. It felt so soothing. Now, Sweetie Belle felt more at ease, not just because of the petting, but because she now senses that the girl had a spirit in her that told her she can be trusted. She smiles knowing that she may have found a new friend who can help her.
The moment of just being petted didn’t last long when the girl noticed Sweetie Belle’s horn on her head.
“Woah! Are you a...unicorn?” The girl says in astonishment.
‘Looks like she found out.’ she thought to herself.
In retrospect, Sweetie Belle would have been frightened like she was before, but, she no longer felt frightened.
The girl picks her up to get a closer look at the horn that she just saw. She touches the horn, and when she did, she found that it was all to real.
“Wow! This is so cool! I thought you guys were only fairy tales! I never knew there were any around her!” the girl says excitedly.
Sweetie Belle couldn’t help but giggle at how giddy this girl sounded.
“My name is Megan by the way. Megan Williams,” Megan introduces.
“Hi, Megan. It’s nice to meet you.” Sweetie Belle replies.
Megan felt shocked. She’s heard parakeets and parrots talk, but never ponies. She puts her down so that she can be back on her hooves without being dropped.
“You...you can talk,” she said in shock.
“Uh-huh,” Sweetie Belle replies.
Megan couldn’t believe it. A unicorn that was not only real, but also can speak too. She rubbed her eyes to see if she wasn’t dreaming, and when she opened them, the small unicorn was still standing in front of her.
She kneels down again, this time only to be at her eye level.
“Do you have a name?” Megan asks.
“Yay. I’m Sweetie Belle.” Sweetie Belle responds.
“Sweetie Belle,” Megan says with a smile, “That’s a nice name.”
“Thanks.” Sweetie Belle responds again.
For a minute, there was only silence for the two, until Megan decided to break it by being the first to speak.
“Well, what are you doing all the way out here? Where did you come from?” she asks.
Sweetie Belle’s smile disappears when Megan asked that question.
“That’s actually what I need your help with, Megan,” Sweetie Belle responds, “I’m not from here. I don’t know where I am either.”
“Oh?” Megan replies.
“Yay. You see, I come from a world where...”
And just like that, Sweetie Belle told Megan about who she was, and where she came from. The things she especially told her were about her sister, and how she protects Equestria with her friends using the Magic of Friendship. She also told her about herself and her fellow Crusaders, even showing her cutie mark and telling her what it represents; and what she and her friends now do to help other ponies. She also told her about the Knights, whom they have been helping to battle the evil wizard known as Grogar. Finally, she told her about how and why she came to this world and her home.
For Megan, what she was told was a lot to process, and everything Sweetie Belle told her amazed her to no end.
“So let me get this straight. You are from a magic land of talking ponies called Equestria, and you got here while trying to stop an evil lizard from taking an amulet called the Star of Worlds, which has the ability to take you anywhere. And he’s trying to use it to free an evil goat wizard?” Megan says.
“That’s right,” Sweetie Belle replies.
After Sweetie Belle answered the words that summed everything up, Megan put her hand on a side of Sweetie Belle’s body.
“Sweetie Belle, this is a lot to take in. But if there’s a monster roaming around here, and a wizard who’s trying to conquer your homeland, you bet I’ll help you.” she told Sweetie Belle.
“You will?!” Sweetie Belle says.
Megan smiles and gives a nod saying ‘yes’ to answer her question. When Sweetie Belle saw that, she was so elated, that she jumped onto Megan and gave her a hug. The best thing was that it didn’t cause any of them to fall on the ground.
“Oh, thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” she told her.
Megan hugs her back.
The two of them were in the comfort of each other’s arms, the furnace of their newly found friendship igniting as they hugged.
Suddenly, while they hugged, a bell sounded out from the farmhouse.
“Kids! Dinner time! Come and get it!” a woman’s voice calls out.
Their attentions drawn, they let go from their embrace of friendship.
“That’s my Mom. I have to go inside for dinner,” Megan told Sweetie Belle.
But the bell wasn’t the only thing that made a sound.
*grumble*
Sweetie Belle’s stomach was also making noises, and it was at that moment she realized that she hadn’t eaten since she came here.
“Megan. Speaking of dinner, I’m hungry as well,” she tells Megan, “Can I have something to eat too?”
“Of course you can, Sweetie Belle,” Megan gladly says, “I’ll be back later. Okay?”
“Okay.”
Knowing now that everything was in the zone, Megan runs off to her house to eat dinner with her family. Sweetie Belle meanwhile, just sat down where she was to wait for Megan to come back, and she wasn’t going to leave her spot.

A little while later, after the Williams family had their supper, Megan gave Sweetie Belle a small bowl of salad to eat. Not only that, but Megan was able to let Sweetie Belle sleep in her bedroom for the night as a way of kindness and generosity for the young unicorn.
As Sweetie Belle ate her food, she started to realize that she still didn’t know what creature Megan was and what world she, Jet, and the Star of Worlds landed in. She decided to ask after she was done eating the food in her mouth.
“Megan. I never got to ask, but, what kind of creatures are you and your family? And what world am I in?” she asked inquisitively.
It was at that moment that Megan realized she forgot to tell Sweetie Belle about her own world and what creature she herself was.
“Oh, that’s right. I must have forgotten to tell you those things.” Megan said.
To get comfortable, Megan sat down on a chair close by her, as she felt that it was better to tell Sweetie Belle while sitting down rather than standing up.
“So, your world doesn’t have my kind living there, right?” Megan asks.
“Yay. I don’t think anyone or anypony has ever seen a creature like you before?”
“I thought so,” Megan says with a chuckle, “My people and I are called ‘humans’.”
“Humans? What are humans?” Sweetie Belle asks.
“Humans are creatures that are able to innovate, create, and build using only their hands.”
“You mean, they can create things without magic?”
“That’s right. We’re very widespread across the globe, and also the only sapiens here on Earth.”
“Earth is your planet, right?”
“You got it. We also look a little like primates, but we sure as hay aren’t related to them. Especially since we only have hair on our heads and nowhere else.”
Megan giggles when she said that. Sweetie Belle also started to giggle as she found the image of a hairless primate (or in this case non-primate) to be really funny.
“What part of your world did I land in anyway?” Sweetie Belle asks.
“Meadow Brook, Wyoming. On the continent of North America. It’s also a state in the country of the U.S. The United States of America,” Megan tells her, “And of course you already know about the farm your currently staying in.”
“Yay. Paradise Estates. A ranch that’s run by the Williams family. If my hunch is correct, I take it that your Dad is the head farmer here.”
Megan giggles again.
“You definitely hit the nail on that one. My Dad’s name is Ben Williams, and he is the head farmer of Paradise Estates.”
“What about the rest of your family?”
“I have a Mom, and her name is Leah Williams. She helps feed and nurse the animals we have here. Then there’s Molly, the sweetest little sister I ever had; and of course, there’s also Danny, who has quite the mischievous streak if I may add.”
“Wow. You must have a great family.”
“Yay, and together, my family and I run a ranch dedicated to caring for abandoned and homeless animals alike.”
“Really? That’s so cool!” Sweetie Belle exclaims, “What about you?”
“Huh?” Megan asks.
“I already told you about myself since the time we met. How about you tell me what you’re like?”
“Okay. I love music, like playing the guitar. I also love singing, dancing, reading, the great outdoors, and animals. What I especially like though is help others in need, no matter what the consequences. If a friend is in trouble, I’ll be there to help.”
Sweetie Belle felt pride. Here she was, worried that no one could help her, but now, she was proven wrong by running into her first out-of-her-world friend.
“I’m glad I ran into you, Megan. If I hadn’t, then, I wouldn’t have been able to meet my newest friend.”
Megan was touched. To her, it felt really great when someone considers her a friend that they need. Even if they were from a different world.
“Aww. Thanks, Sweetie Belle.”
But, completely out of nowhere, a yawn from Sweetie Belle comes up. Megan could tell she had a really busy day, and that it was enough to completely wear her out.
“Let’s get some rest, tonight. We’ll look for the Star in the morning.” Megan said to Sweetie Belle.
“Okay,” Sweetie Belle yawns, “I am feeling tired.”
Megan lifts Sweetie Belle up as she falls asleep and puts her to bed in her bed.
“Sweet Dreams, Sweetie Belle.”
With Sweetie Belle in bed, Megan decides to sleep in a nearby sleeping bag for the night. She got right to sleep without a problem.
Meanwhile, back at Twilight’s Castle, the Knights, the Main Six, the Crusaders, and Spike were once again all gathered together, only this time, to come up with a rescue mission for Sweetie Belle, and a retrieval mission for the Star of Worlds.
Rarity is having a panic attack in the throne room over losing Sweetie Belle. Catrina was trying to calm Rarity down. Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Scorpan look through some books about how to get Sweetie Belle and the Star of Worlds back home. Rainbow Dash was hovering in the air like she was pacing. Rep was also pacing, only he was on the ground walking in circles. Pinkie Pie and Spike were eating cupcakes because they felt eating would calm their nerves. Thorne meanwhile, well, he was especially trying to figure out what to do now, even while scratching his head.
“We got to get Sweetie Belle back!” Rarity panics, “No telling what land or world she wound up in! It could be filled with horrible monsters with horrible fashion sense!”
“Rarity, calm down!” Catrina says while holding her, “We’ll get your sister back. Twilight and Scorpan are looking through Starswirl’s old books. Hopefully, there’s something in there on the Star of Worlds that could help us retrieve it and Sweetie Belle.”
“Yay. And hopefully we can say bye-bye to that lizard guy too. Because he’s all mean and crazy and so many other words to describe him as evil. I don’t think he even deserves a welcome or goodbye party for what he did since we saw him.” Pinkie Pie says really fast.
Rarity and Catrina look at Pinkie with raised eyebrows and quizzical looks because of how much of a mouthful she said that. But, they eventually shook it off as Pinkie being Pinkie and got back to the conversation.
“Just who was that horrid lizard anyway?” Rarity asks.
“His name is Jet,” Scorpan says while looking through a book, “He used to be part of the Royal Guard until we caught him using magic and his shapeshifting power to steal from the treasury. Then, we sent him to the dungeon. When Grogar took over Tambelon, he made Jet his top spy.”
“Oh. Well, that certainly makes sense.”
Suddenly, Twilight finds a book with a page on the Star of Worlds.
“I found something!” Twilight says.
At the sound of that, everyone in the room ran to where Twilight was to see what she found.
“What is it?” Catrina asks.
“According to this, the Star of Worlds can be retrieved using a finding spell. Once used, a portal to wherever the Star is will be opened. To make it work, we just need to get to the spot where the Star was last used.”
“Then we have a plan,” Scorpan says, “Catrina, you and the others stay here in case Sweetie Belle uses the Star to return; Twilight, Rarity and I will try to find her and the Star.”
“Okay, but be careful,” Catrina says, “No telling what kind of world Sweetie Belle and the Star fell in.”
“And keep your eyes peeled for Jet,” Thorne tells them, “Who knows where he could be hiding.”
Scorpan, Twilight, and Rarity nod at the remarks given to them by their two friends. They then run off to where the Star of Worlds was last seen as their friends watch them head out.

Back at the Castle of Tambelon, Grogar is in a fit of rage over Jet taking the Star.
“INSOLENT REPTILE!!!” he yells, “If he doesn’t get the Star back, I shall give him a punishment so diabolical, he won’t even speak for days to come!”
“I suppose Jet really blew it this time!” Ahuizotl smugly says, “How unfortunate for him.”
Unfortunately, that remark earned Ahuizotl a spell that blew most of his fur off.
“I shall wait for the ponies and that blasted Scorpan to return with the Star. When they do return, be ready to grab it without hesitation or else.”
“Yes, Sire!” Ahuizotl nervously salutes while his tail puts out some singed fur on his head.

Back in Ponyville, Twilight, Scorpan, and Rarity go back to the spot where the portal was last seen. To make sure they were at the right place, they looked for any signs of the activity made by the Star of Worlds. They were in the right place, because the Star left lots of marks from when it was used.
Twilight channels into the power of the Star with her magic, causing a white portal to open.
“It’s open! Let’s go!” Scorpan shouts.
Scorpan was the first to jump through, disappearing once he entered through it. Then Twilight entered with Rarity not far behind.

They were falling through the tunnel of lights, screaming as they were taken by gravity.
“Hang in there, Sweetie Belle! We’re coming!” Rarity shouts as they fall through the tunnel.
The next morning, after everyone had breakfast, Sweetie Belle and Megan go out into the woods and look for the Star of Worlds. While they searched, Sweetie Belle is telling Megan about the recent events concerning herself, her sister, and her friends.
“So Thorne and Discord totaled your sister’s fashion line?” Megan asks while giggling.
“If totaled means wrecked, yes,” Sweetie Belle says, “What do you recommend for removing paintball stains?”
“Some good laundry and dish detergent along with cold water should do the trick. What were Thorne and Discord fighting about anyway?”
“My friend, Fluttershy. Thorne took her out two weeks ago, and that made Discord jealous. It caused a lot of bad blood between them. You would like Fluttershy, Megan. She cares for animals just like you and your family do. She keeps a lot of them at her cottage.”
“I bet.”
“So, are you sure this is where the Star of Worlds must be?” Sweetie Belle asks.
“I’m positive,” Megan replies, “I was practicing my guitar while figuring out lyrics to my song when I saw two things fall. One of them showed a gold shine as it fell here in the woods. I couldn’t get a good look at the other thing, but it fell far away from the shine.”
“The Star of Worlds must have gotten separated from that lizard when he fell here on earth yesterday. I hope he didn’t get it before we could.”
“Me too. We better hurry and find it before he does.”
While they were talking though, a squirrel was watching them from a tree without them even noticing. The squirrel scurries behind the tree it was on, and transforms into a certain villainous lizard: Jet. He was watching the two friends.
“It’s that unicorn! But what is that creature she is with?” he says, “No matter. They will lead me straight to the Star of Worlds, and when they find it, I’ll use it to take me to any part of Tambelon and personally hand it to Master Grogar.”
Using the trees and bushes as cover, the cunning reptile follows them in hopes of just grabbing it from them once they find it.

Sweetie Belle and Megan moved. They stop when they come to a nearby stream and looked around a moment. So far, there was nothing golden yet. At the moment, all they could see was the stream doing what a stream always did, a family of raccoons looking for food, and even a deer, which, after perking its ears up and Sweetie Belle and Megan nearby, ran away in fright.
“This place should be where the Star had fallen to,” Megan said.
The two friends look around to see if they could spot anything. They looked under rocks, inside of logs, in the water, holes in the ground, even in the trees. Sweetie Belle suddenly spots something shining inside of a knothole on a tree: the Star of Worlds.
“Megan! I found the Star!” she excitedly says, “It’s in that tree!”
“I’ll get it.”
With no time to waste, Megan climbs the tree. When she reached to where the glowing was coming from, she finds that Sweetie Belle was right. The Star of Worlds was here. She reaches into the knothole and grabs the Star by the string it was attached to. She holds it out to show Sweetie Belle she got what they were looking for, elating Sweetie Belle. Then, she climbs down and gives the Star to her unicorn friend, who uses her telekinesis to take it.
“Oh Thank you, Megan! Thank you!” Sweetie Belle happily says while hopping around, “With the Star of Worlds back, I can return home and see my friends and family again!
“I’ll make sure to keep that lizard guy from ever going back to Equestria too.”
When Sweetie Belle stopped hopping, she noticed that her throat all of a sudden felt dry. Why now of all times she didn’t know, but she needed a drink.
“Megan, I feel thirsty. Can you hold the Star until I get back from the stream?”
“Sure. But, in case that lizard comes here and changes into one of us, we need a password to recognize each other.”
“I know a good password.”
Sweetie Belle motions for Megan to come closer to hear the password. She whispers something into Megan’s ear, giving Megan a surprised look.
“Really?” Megan says with surprise.
“It’s something my friend Pinkie Pie would say,” Sweetie Belle tells her.
Sweetie Belle goes to the stream to get some water while Megan guards the Star by putting it around her neck and wearing it.
“I’ll be right back.” she says to Megan.
But what Sweetie Belle didn’t know was that Jet was observing Sweetie Belle as she headed for the stream. To him, the moment the two separated was the perfect opportunity to take the Star, and to enact a plan on how to get it. He changes into the young unicorn and trots over to Megan, composing himself of any grin save for a normal smile.
Megan notices what appeared to be her friend headed her way.
“Hey Sweetie Belle. Back from the stream so soon?” Megan says.
“Uh… yes,” a disguised Jet says, “I wasn’t that thirsty.”
“Great. Let’s go back to the ranch, you can return home from there’s since it’s the safest place to be.”
“Actually, Megan, I think I found the perfect spot to get me home.”
“Really, Sweetie Belle? Where?”
“Come on, I’ll show you.”
The lizard in pony’s clothing motions for Megan to follow him.
However, Megan felt a little hesitant. She didn’t know why, but there was something inside of her that was telling her something was wrong.
‘Something isn’t right,’ Megan thought, ‘What specific place could Sweetie Belle possibly think of to use the Star?’
Megan follows behind.
Two minutes later, Jet takes Megan over to a nearby pit that is twelve feet deep.
Megan looks down into the pit, noticing how deep and dark it was down there, and how dangerous it would be if someone fell in.
“You sure you want to get home in this pit, Sweetie Belle? This pit looks pretty deep, and that lizard you told me about could be hiding in there,” Megan tells her concerns.
“You’re right, Megan,” Jet says, “Why don’t you look inside and make sure he’s not in there?”
When Megan heard those words, she started to feel even more suspicious. The friend that she spent the night with last night was behaving differently than usual.
‘Could it be?’ she wonders.
To confirm what was going on, she decides to use the password.
“Sweetie Belle, I forgot the password we planned to use in case of emergencies. Do you remember what it is?” Megan says, hoping to trick the fake.
“Password?!” Jet panics, sweat suddenly coming off his forehead, “Uh…Equestria forever?”
“You’re not, Sweetie Belle!”
They suddenly hear Sweetie Belle calling out to Megan.
“Megan! Megan?” she cries as she appears from the bushes.
When Sweetie Belle appears, she is shocked to find who was with Megan.
Jet, while as Sweetie Belle, grabs her and spins her and himself around, mixing the two up.
“Megan, quick! You gotta give me the Star!” says one Sweetie Belle.
“Don’t listen to this phony! Give me the Star!”
Both unicorns then start talking at the same time, each of them wanting to have the star. But poor Megan didn’t know which one was which.
“I can’t!” Megan says, silencing the two, “I can’t Sweetie Belle! I don’t know which is the real you!”
The Sweetie Belle on the right thinks for a minute and remembers the password.
“PICKLE BARREL KUMQUAT!!!” she screams.
Megan’s mouth went agape. She now knew which was her real friend.
“Sweetie Belle, get behind me!” Megan says.
But before Sweetie Belle could even gallop, Jet’s tail transforms back to normal and grabs Sweetie Belle by the waist. When he did, he changed back into his real form, and right before anyone could blink. His sudden transformation frightened birds and squirrels from the trees and caused them to make haste.
The evil lizard cackles as he held Sweetie Belle captive, and Sweetie Belle struggles to get free.
“Well, well, well. It seems that I have scored some things in this worldly battle. I capture one creature that has come between me and my goal for the last time, and, I learn the name of the companion who dares to aid Equestria.” he says triumphantly.
“Let my friend go, you overgrown salamander!”
“Oh, but I don’t think I can,” he tells her, “Unless, we can make a trade.”
Realizing what Jet was about to offer Megan, Sweetie Belle bites down on Jet’s tail, causing him to let go of her with a scream and grab his tail because of the pain.
While he’s distracted, Sweetie Belle gets behind Megan.
Figuring out what just happened, Jet growls in frustration at what his captive just did.
“Well, that was rather abrupt. I suppose now you’re not going to give it to me then.”
“Tell your goat boss he has to pry it from my hands if he wants to take over Equestria,” Megan defiantly says to him.
“Disrespectful…whatever you are! Fine! I’ve been itching for a fight anyway!”
With that, Jet cracks his knuckles, preparing for a fight, while Megan got into a fighting stance to protect Sweetie Belle and the Star of Worlds.
But without warning, the Star suddenly glows bright yellow, making the three beings look on with awe.
“Sweetie Belle? What’s happening to the Star?”
“I don’t know!”
The Star suddenly opens a portal, and coming out of the portal are Twilight, Rarity, and Scorpan.
The three look around to see where they are.
“Rarity!” Sweetie Belle excitedly shouts as she runs up and hugs her.
“Sweetie Belle!” Rarity shouts with joy.
Sisters reunited, they run up and hug each other, glad to be back together again.
While Sweetie Belle and Rarity were hugging, Twilight also comes to embrace Sweetie Belle, glad to see that her friend was okay and not hurt. Sweetie Belle returns the embrace.
Megan and Scorpan look on, happy to see the three ponies reunited. But then, Megan saw Scorpan. Thinking he was an enemy she picks up a nearby tree branch, and tries to attack him as she swings it. Scorpan swiftly avoids each attempt.
“Hey!” Scorpan says.
“Who are you?!” Megan says, “Another of Grogar’s flunkies?!”
When Sweetie Belle sees what’s happening, she quickly runs over to Megan to stop her.
“It’s okay, Megan,” Sweetie Belle calms her, “This is Scorpan, one of the Knights of Tambelon.”
“Oh? Sorry about that.”
“That’s alright. You just didn’t know.”
“Anyway. The alicorn right here is my friend, Princess Twilight Sparkle,” Sweetie Belle introduces.
“Hi there. And you can call me Twilight by the way.” Twilight greets Megan.
“And the dazzling unicorn right here is my sister, Rarity.” Sweetie Belle introduces again.
“Charmed. But who are you?” Rarity asks Megan.
“My name is Megan.”
“She’s my new human friend. She’s been taking care of me on her farm while I was stuck here, and she helped me get back the Star of Worlds.”
Megan shows them.
“Oh thank you!” Twilight excitedly says.
But before Megan could give the Star to Twilight, it was snatched out of her hands in the blink of an eye. The five heroes look in the direction it went to see that Jet has the Star again, and he took it by transforming himself into a monkey.
“Love to stay for this endearing conversation, but I must be off,” Jet snickers as he takes to the trees.
“After him!” Scorpan shouts.
The friends chase after Jet. But this time, Twilight had a plan to catch Jet without having to simply run after him. Jet within her sight, she uses her horn to teleport right in front of him. Jet stops when he finds the alicorn in front of him, and before he could do anything else, Twilight blinds him with her magic, causing him to let go of the Star and make it fall.
Just when it was about to hit the ground, Rarity uses her magic to levitate it, and floats the Star of Worlds toward her.
Enraged, Jet turns into a bull and charges at the heroes, causing them to scatter before he could even hit them like bowling pins. He turns to see Rarity still holding the Star with her magic and charges straight for her.
“Twilight!” Rarity shouts before throwing the Star of Worlds.
With one leap, Twilight catches it with her telekinesis. But her moment didn’t last long when she saw Jet coming her way with flaring nostrils. She throws the Star before he could reach her, throwing it to Scorpan who caught it with a flutter in the air. Jet sees this and prepares to charge over him.
“It’ll be a pleasure to get rid of you, Scorpan,” he mumbles.
He races towards Scorpan, but Megan gets out her lasso and lassoed Jet away from Scorpan. Jet turns into a bird and frees himself from the rope. He tries to take the Star from Scorpan, but his grip is too tight, so Jet changes into his real form and continues to try taking it. Before any one of them could let go, Sweetie Belle uses her telekinesis to make Jet float off the ground and away from Scorpan, slamming him into a tree.
“Scorpan, hurry!” Twilight says.
“Return us to Ponyville!” Scorpan commands the Star.
A portal to Ponyville opens. Seeing what was happening, Jet goes after them to take the Star. But before he could, a rope was lassoed around him, preventing him from going forward. It was Megan, and she was trying to stop him no matter what.
“You guys go!” she says, “I’ll hold this creep here!”
“Megan!” Sweetie calls.
“No time, Sweetie Belle! We have to get home!” Rarity says as she picks her sister up.
The four run into the Portal. Jet struggles to get free.
“I do not plan on being imprisoned in this strange world forever!” he says as he changes into a bull again.
He charges into to the portal, while Megan held on to her rope, in tow, taking her to Equestria as she screams.

In Ponyville, Twilight, Sweetie Belle, Scorpan, and Rarity made it through. Everyone was gasping for breath at how exhilarating the events that happened were to them.
“Phew! We made it,” Twilight says.
But within a second, Jet suddenly charges in, knocking Scorpan down, and causing the Star to fall out of his hands and straight into Jet's. Jet cackles at his triumphant victory.
“At last! I have it!” he shouts with pride.
“Not so fast!” Megan says as she lassoed the Star and pulls it toward her.
Megan catches the Star.
“Megan!” Sweetie Belle shouts.
Jet becomes ticked for the last time by Megan’s continuous efforts to stop him.
“Give that amulet to me!” Jet says.
“Never!” Megan replies, keeping it in her grasp.
“Megan! Use the Star to get yourself home! It’ll be safe with you!” Twilight says.
“You got it, Twilight!” Megan replies.
“Oh, but I don’t think you should!” Jet says.
“What?” Megan says in a confused way.
“If you do use it, Grogar will come for it, and destroy you and everything you ever love one by one!” Jet threatens.
“Don’t listen to him! Just do it!” Twilight tells Megan.
But Megan was conflicted. Even though the Star of Worlds would be safe with her, Jet was right. If Twilight and the others can use a spell to find it, Grogar would as well and be free from his prison. There was only one thing she had to do.
“He’s right, Twilight,” Megan sadly says, “If you can use the spell to find it, Grogar will too. I’m not gonna let him use his evil on you, Sweetie Belle, or any of the ponies for all the good you have done. There’s only one thing I can do to protect the ponies and my family.”
Without a word, Megan throws the Star to the ground and smashes it with her foot, destroying the Star of Worlds, much to Jet’s severe dismay, and to Twilight, Rarity, Sweetie Belle, and Scorpan’s shock.
“Consider yourself an enemy to Grogar, Megan!” Jet angrily yells as he turns into a vulture and flies away.
Megan looks down on the Star, gets down on her knees, and sheds a tear, knowing she will never get home. Sweetie Belle runs up to her and hugs her for her sacrifice. Megan hugs her in return.
Twilight walks up to Megan, and embraces her with her hooves and wings. Rarity and Scorpan also embrace Megan for what she did.
“I’m sorry.” Twilight says softly.
Megan hugs the three in return. She now knew that despite being in a different world, she’s made more friends.
In the Royal Palace of Canterlot, Megan, Twilight, and Sweetie Belle wait outside of the throne room. Megan was pacing in nervousness as Twilight and Sweetie Belle watch as she did.
“Do you think they’ll forgive me?” Megan stops to ask.
“Of course they will, Megan. You’re a hero.” Sweetie Belle assures.
“Sweetie Belle’s right. And I’ve known Celestia and Luna for years. I’m positive that they’re forever grateful for what you did.” Twilight says in comfort.
The door to the throne room opens, and a unicorn castle guard steps out to let them in.
“Her Majesties will see you now.” he says to them.
Calming herself knowing that her two friends will be beside her, Megan enters the throne room and presents herself to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, while Twilight and Sweetie Belle accompany her. When the door closes behind them, Megan bows to the princesses.
“Your Royal Highnesses, I am truly sorry for shattering the Star of Worlds,” Megan apologizes as she bows.
“You have nothing to apologize for, Megan,” Celestia says, “It is us who should apologize. You sacrificed your only chance to go back home to protect us from Grogar.”
“That’s because from what Sweetie Belle told me about the ponies and all the adventures you had, you have done a lot of good, not just for each other, but for others as well. You all created magic and harmony that comes from caring for each other, and I am glad to be a part of that even for that moment. There was no way I would let someone like Grogar destroy the very thing you have built.”
“And we are forever grateful to you for how much you care for us,” Luna says, “That is why my sister and I will not rest until we find magic that will send you home.”
“In the meantime, I hope you’ll consider Equestria your home,” Twilight says.
“I will, Twilight,” Megan replies, “and I can’t wait to see the magic that is out there.”

The next morning, as Celestia’s sun begins to make its rise, Megan is walking up a mountain pathway to get a bird’s eye view of Ponyville. While she does, she sings about her upcoming adventures:

Or will I remain where I roam?

Megan makes it to the top and sees Ponyville and the land beyond it as the sun rises, signifying that her adventures in Equestria are just beginning.
