When Soundwave losses hope for Decepticon cause after Megatron's death he leaves Cybertron to find a new home, but when a freak accident lands him in the peaceful land of Equestria he must adapt to this new world with the help of a down on her luck DJ, Vinyl Scratch. Watch as they try to survive the wrath of Princess Luna, Soundwave's old rivals, and the evil Equestria has to offer.
(Takes place during the old 1980's movie of transformers, also Soundwave is gonna be a combination of 1980's Soundwave and Transformers War for Cybertron Soundwave. Also including Fall of Cybertron and small amount of Beast Wars references)

I watched in disbelief as I saw my once proud leader plummet to the ground below. He landed with a sickening thud that was almost enough to make me believe he went offline for good. Myself, a Constructicon, and the ever irritating Starscream surrounded him to check if he still functioned.
"How do you feel mighty Megatron?!" Starscream said with heavy sarcasm before giving Megatron a swift kick to the torso. The action was almost enough to make me rip his chassis from his body and beat him into scrap metal.
"Astrotrain, transform and get us out of here!"
Despite my hate for the ever cowardly bot, I knew that our assault on Autobot city was falling apart thanks to their wretched leader Optimus prime. In a matter of nanoscyles he stormed the city, wiped out half our strike force, and defeated Megatron in one on one combat.
"Don't leave me Soundwave!" Megatron said weakly. My spark faltered at seeing my once glorious leader in such a pitiful state.
"As you command lord Megatron" I picked up my leader and began racing towards our EVAC point, all the while avoiding the ongoing retaliation of the Autobots. As I rushed inside the cargo bay of our comrade Astrotrain, a bot who had two vehicle modes, a train and space shuttle, Starscream and my other comrades followed in, some carrying the injured along with them.
"Astrotrain! Take off!" Starscream ordered, his shrill voice made even more annoying by the confines of the cargo bay
Astrotrain began his escape, turning into his shuttle form, and taking us away from the human planet Earth. As we traveled I tried my best to hide Megatron's condition, but I knew the ever ambitious Starcream would never pass a moment to usurp him. The bot had even tried to claim leadership of the Decepticons only because Megatron had 'sore throat' as the humans refer to it. I hated everything about the humans, but sometimes they had a way of explaining things that was easier than our own.
As we traveled through the depths of space, Astrotrain was moving slower than usual and I feared what was about to be said. "Jettison some weight. or I'll never make it to Cybertron!" I knew that's when Starscream would make his move
"Fellow Decepticons Astrotrain has requested we lighten our burden" Starscream said
"In that case I say it's survival of the fittest" One of the Constructicons said, Scrapper I believe his name was. I never bothered to store their names in my memory units only the name of our strongest weapon, Devastator
"Do I hear a second on that?" Starscream said as if he knew who was going to respond
"AYE!" Only the bots who didn't suffer damage said.
"And against?" Starscream said
"Nay" the injured part of our forces said weakly. I cared not for them, weakness is to be punished among the Decepticons, and Megatron would bring down that punishment, if it wasn't for the fact he was among them.
"The 'ayes' have it!" Starscream said enthusiastically
We forced all of the injured bots to the airlock, opened it, and jettisoned them into space. Their weakness would only slow our future attempts to defeat the Autobots. Then Starscream approached the open door, with Megatron in his hands. Despite his state I would always stay loyal to our leader, although if I tried to do anything I knew I'd be joining him shortly.
"Aww, How it pains me to do this." Starscream said with heavy sarcasm and a smirk
"Wait, I still function!" Megatron said weakly
"Wanna bet?" Starscream said before tossing him into space. I went to reach out and save him, but he was already gone and the door was shut. Thankfully nobody saw me otherwise I wouldn't function as I do now.
"STAAAARSCREEEEAAAAAMMMM!" Megatron wailed before leaving view
Starscream rubbed his hands together as if he was getting rid of filth from them and said "Well as Megatron has, how shall we say, departed, I nominate myself as new leader!" I wanted to rip his jaw off and smash his face plate with it, but I processed the situation for a moment. If I became leader then I could order the remaining Decepticons to turn around and save Megatron.
"The Constructicons form Devastator! The most powerful robot! We should be leader!"
"Soundwave superior, Constructicons Inferior" I said attempting to place myself above them, however my vocal impairment makes it difficult for me to sound authoritative.
"Who are you calling Inferior!" one replied "No one would fallow an uncharismatic bore like you!"
I deployed my minicons to intimidate them, despite their small statures they can take out a bot twice their size
"No body calls Soundwave 'uncrhasamatic'!" Frenzy shouted, I hated his lack of intelligence sometimes.
"Yeah let's kick tailgate!" Rumble said eager for a fight
"CONSTRUCTICONS UNITE!" One of them shouted as they began to form Devastator. This would have ended badly for all of us if my Minicons hadn't intervened "No way!" they shouted as they transformed their hands into their pile drivers and began to vibrate all of Astrotrain, causing the Constructicons to lose their balance and topple over, separating them from their Devestator form.
After that an all out brawl broke out, and I gave a piece of my processor to one of those annoying Constucticons

After a few cycles I recovered from the fight on the ship and made my way back to HQ. I was horrified to see that Starscream had made tremendous progress in his campaign to become leader. Banners and holograms of him giving speeches of a 'stronger Decepticon army' were everywhere, and sadly enough most of the others began to rally behind him. I knew that if Starscream became leader the 'rust for brains' bot would either drive the army into the ground or die during the moment coronation only for the next over eager bot to claim the throne and die as well. No one was a strong as Megatron, and I didn't want to stick around to see either of these things happen, except maybe Starscream dying...I would savor every moment until I stopped functioning. With Megatron dead, the Decepticon cause died with him. In the next few cycles I plan to leave Cybertron...for good.

"Sorry miss Scratch we've already booked that DJ, 'COL-7' for tonight" said the irritating club owner.
I gritted my teeth. This was the tenth gig I lost to that poser, I stormed out of the club into the streets of Canterlot. It was going to be another rough night of drinking for me.
After that fashion show in Ponyville bombed it's was harder and harder for me to find a steady stream of gigs. I've even had to sell some of her equipment to cover the rent on my home leaving me with only the basic set of amps and a sound board. On top of that some colt copied my look, DJ name, and even my songs I remixed personally. If I didn't find a good gig soon I'd be out of a home, although maybe spending what little bits I have on booze doesn't help my case but I didn't care. Drinking made my problems go for a few hours.

A/N If you hadn't figured it out, I sincerely hate Starscream and I kid you not about the part with the sore throat...that actually happened in one of the old episodes. Anyways tell me what I need maybe offer a bit of advice. I love both MLP:FiM and the original Transformers so writing this is actually pretty fun, on top of the Vinyl is best pony and Soundwave is best robot!
I had gotten with an argument with some kids who came from a DJ COL-7 show talking about how cool he was...I gave 'em a hoof upside the head, told 'em to buck off, got into a fight, then...got thrown out. Thankfully no matter how drunk I got I always saved enough bits to catch the train home. I never understood why the train was so effeminate, all pink and frilly. Who's attention are they trying to get with that thing, little fillies?
I found my seat on the train and gazed up at the night sky through my window. I had completely forgotten Princess Luna planned a meteor shower tonight. It's beauty captivated me, even more so because I was drunk. When I heard Princess Luna had a thing for the new music of our time, I wanted to do everything in my power to get her attention and play a gig for her. How great would that be, a personal show for royalty, but seeing as things are going for me now I doubted that could have even been in my life time.
I almost dozed off on the train ride back when I noticed something about the shower. I picked out a star that went rouge and landed somewhere far off into the distance, surprisingly not far from Ponyville. My curiosity got the better of me so when I got off the train I headed off to see what from the great beyond had graced Equestria.

I hijacked a single pilot ship to escape Cybertron and planned to use the space bridge to get to the other side of the galaxy. I know I'd pass by Earth and risk setting off some orbital alarm system the Autobots may have set up, but I could just speed by before they could even respond. They may have defeated us horribly but we left out mark. As I passed through the space bridge the malfunction alarm went off. I began checking every system on the ship when I realized the alarm was for the space bridge itself. Something must have happened on the other end of the bridge and now the whole thing was in collapse. I tried desperately to find a way to resolve the problem, but I have never encountered a problem such as this, nor do I think any bot has and functioned to tell about it. I tried to steer the ship out of it, but an influx on energy blew out the one of the engines leaving me with little control.
By some form of miracle from the All spark I managed to steer out of the path of the space bridge, but as luck as never been to kind I was dropped off in the gravitational pull of a planet. I couldn't steer out of it with the damaged engine, and other systems began failing until the steering failed altogether.
Frenzy ejected himself and said "Stick your faceplate between you're chassis and kiss your tail pipe good-bye!" If it wasn't such a dire situation I would have found it more humorous
I braced for impact as the ship finally crashed into the ground, the force of it broke me out of my safety harness, tossed me out the ships window, and even forcefully ejected my minicons out of my torso. I reach out to try and catch them but I made contact with the ground before I could do anything. I skipped a few times across the ground before finally hitting something solid and going offline.

I arrived at the site of where the star fell and it definately wasn't what I was expecting. I saw a metal...thing that had crashed into ground near the edge of the Everfree forest. I had no idea what it was but it was massive. I began to walk around it for a moment to get a better look when I though I heard somepony talking. At first I thought it was the booze, but as I got closer I could really hear voices. I crept up the source of it when I saw something amazing, something I heard a friend of mine, Lyra, constantly go on about in great detail. Although it didn't fit the description completely it looked close enough to what she called a human. It was big and purple and has what looked like two smaller versions of it, one red and one blue. They were on top of the larger one trying their hardest to, from the sound of it wake him up.
"C'mon boss wake up, ya can't be offline for good!" the red one shouted as the blue one kept slapping him in the face to try and wake him up
I kept low in the bush until I did something that made me immediately regret that extra cider, I let out a small hiccup, which caused both the little beings to stop what they were doing and surround their boss. Their hands changed into metal plates as they started shouting "Come on out so we can beat ya's!" the red one said. I turned to run but was met face to face with what looked like a metal cat, growling at me
"Umm nice kitty...good kitty" I said backing up into the clearing and into the sight of the little metal beings. They surrounded me from all sides and began to close in on me. I hit the ground and covered my head with my hooves and prepared for the worst until I heard a loud squawk echo through the clearing. I looked up and saw another metal creature, but not like anything I had seen before. It looked like a bird but it had a weird head and a luminescent beak. I swooped down to my level and as it did the little metal beings began to back off.
"Aww I was hopin' we could smash dis ting into da ground" the blue one said disappointingly
"We gotta listen ta Laserbeak or else da boss will have our heads" the red one defended."
The little bird, which I safely assumed to be Laserbeak, flew over to it's master. Once it landed it lit it's beak up and tapped it on his master's chest causing it to open up and reveal a plethora of lights. I stood awe-struck at the spectacle, ignorant of the dirty and somewhat murderous looks of two little metal humans. I began to approach until the two metal humans jumped in front of me.
"Ya ain't gonna get close to da boss without his permissions" The blue one shouted, and I began to back away. I watched as Laserbeak began pecking at light show of a torso of his master. I didn't know how long I was there, but something tells me that I didn't want to leave, nor I think would these things have let me. All I knew that it was going to be a long night....
I stood there for what seemed like hours while Laserbeak repaired his master, even the two mini murderers and the dog where dozing off. I almost fell asleep myself until I heard more voices, they sounded far off and I almost chalked it up again to my drinking, but Laserbeak stopped what he was doing and woke his comrades up
"Not now boss...Let me stay in sleep mode for a few more nanocycles" The red one said while the blue one just mumbled. Laserbeak pecked them both on the head causing them both to cry out and wake their feline friend as well. Laserbeak's beak lit up and he was looking between the three of them
"We can't move da boss! He's way to heavy for all of us!" the red one shouted
"C'mon rumble we gots ta do somethin'!" The blue one said hopefully
All four of them tried in vain to get their larger companion moving, let alone even lifting one leg of the ground. I swallowed hard and spoke up finally "Maybe I can help?"
They all stopped and looked at me, then each other, then me again and bust out laughing.
"Hahahaha! What can a squishy like you's do!"
"Well I lift heavy stuff all the time so I think I can help move your friend there"
"Ha ya don't even got any hands! How do expect to even grab onto the boss!"
"Like this" I said with a smirk. I began trying to lift their boss up with my magic, slowly as the white aura enveloped him he began to rise off the ground. Most unicorns couldn't lift this much, but magic is like a muscle, the more you use and and the heavier stuff you use it on, the stronger it gets. I began to slowly drift their leader through the tree line away from whatever was coming towards us. "We can take him back to my place, it's still kind of late so most ponies will be asleep" I said with some strain
All four of them stood awestruck at their master hovering through the air, until Laserbeak flew over, grabbed his master by his tiny feet, and tried his best to help move him along. The others followed in suit grabbing some part of their master and trying their best to make him weigh just a little less.

"Princess Luna over here!" I heard one of my night guards shout from a distance. As I approached I was awestruck by the sight of what appeared to be some form of vessel crashed into the ground.
"We believe tis safe to assume this ship is our rouge star. Scour the area and the ship. If there are any survivors bring them to us!" I commanded to my subjects
My loyal Night guard saluted and scattered about leaving me alone
'What could have possibly come from beyond the stars?' I thought to myself 'Whatever it may be I hope that we find it before somepony else does' As I began my own search of the area I noticed that there were several impact points leading away from the ship. I began to follow them into a small clearing in the woods and noticed several prints in the ground. One set looked like a cats, two sets looked similar but nothing like I had ever seen before, and, to my despair, a set of hoofprints, leading into town. I rallied my guards back and ordered them to head for Ponyville and begin a massive search.

Thankfully we managed to sneak through Ponyville undetected, however we faced a slight problem. The metal being I was carrying had no possible way to fit into my home. I looked around frantically when I realized he could fit in the alleyway behind my house. We did our best to position him sideways so the giant being could fit into the narrow alleyway, which thankfully got large enough in the back to allows us to lay him down facing upward so that Laserbeak could, from what I could tell, finish repairing him.
I left the alleyway to see if anypony had noticed us, I gasped as I saw Luna's royal night guard begin to fly into town. I turned back to the others and whispered "You're going to have to hurry up before they spot us"
"Who's 'they'?" The red one asked
"The royal night guard! If they find us who knows what they'll do"
"If they find us we'll just clobber 'em!" the blue one said enthusiastically punching one hand into an open palm, smiling happily at the chance of getting into a fight.
Laserbeak turned around and shot a bolt of light from his beak, I guess now I know why the call him Laserbeak, at the two of them. His beak lit up a few times which caused the both of them to let out disappointing huffs and sit on the ground with their arms crossed. Laserbeak went back to hastily repairing his master.
"I think I see something coming from that alleyway!" I heard one of the guards say. I panicked as well as the other little metal beings. I turned down the alleyway to see the guards shadows come into view. I hit the ground and covered my head with my hooves hoping they wouldn't see me, until I heard the strangest noise from behind me. It sounded like metal parts moving against one another, it almost sounded musical actually. I turned to see the source, only to be severely confused. Where once a giant metal human thing and some pets where, was now a boombox and a couple of cassettes scattered all around.
The guards rounded the corner, came down the alleyway, and stopped in front of me.
"Mam have you seen anything suspicious tonight?" one of them asked
I looked between them and the boombox, mouth agape. I shook my head finally and did my best to seem calm. "No officers I was just moving some equipment back into my house." I lifted everything in my magic and began to head out of the alley and into my home. The guards just shrugged at each other and left to continue their search.
As my optics turned on I saw Laserbeak on my torso. I thank the All Spark I had such a helpful ally at my disposal. Before I could react however he told me to transform. I knew that he would only give me a command without fear of my retaliation if the situation were about to get dire. I turned into my stealth mode, an Earth made stereo system, or 'boombox' as the humans called it. I attempted to get a better view of my surroundings, but my optics were only functioning at minimal capacity making everything hazy. I suddenly found myself being lifted through the air. I didn't know where I was going, but I trusted Laserbeak's judgement, so I made no initial reaction and let myself be carried away by some unseen force.
After a few nanocycles I heard a door open and I was placed upon the ground. My optics slowly began to regain function and I was able to view my surroundings. The interior of the structure I was in was wooden, about the place was furniture that looked similar to what a human would have, however it was much to small for me to transform without attracting possible unwanted attention. I dreaded the though of the possibility that I had indeed landed on Earth, only to have that notion shattered when a life form entered my optic view. I remembered Shockwave, one of the Decepticons chief scientists, had cataloged species of animal life on Earth, I hadn't paid much attention to it, but I noticed one of them was something the humans referred to as 'horses'. Only this 'horse' had a white exterior, light blue hair and an equally colored tail, on it's face it had a pair of ultraviolet ray shields, or sunglasses as humans called them, atop it's skull was a bony protustion, which it's purpose was unkown to me. Again, I hated humans because their side in the war, but they have a way of explaining things that was simple.
I saw that not only had Laserbeak been with me, but also Rumble, Frenzy, and Ravage were with him. I was disappointed to not see the rest of my Minicons, they were the only things I would should emotion over, even in front of Megatron. Laserbeak began talking to Rumble and Frenzy who were talking to this horse, I first though they hit their processors too hard when we crashed, but I was surprised to hear the horse speak back to them. Telling by it's voice it was female, although her voice had a bit of masculinity to it. Suddenly I was being lifted through the air again and brought through this strange creature's home, until we found ourselves in a large room, below the actual home, filled with technological devices, all of them were designed to emit sound, amplifiers, sub woofers, and a control board. I didn't know who or what this creature is, but I may enjoy it's company.
The creature approached me and with one of its front legs tapped my surface "So is he okay?" she asked
"Yeah da boss should be alright now....maybe a bit dizzy, but hey when ya crash a ship you're lucky enough to still function afterwords." Rumble said reassuringly.
"So um how did he, and you guys, do that thing? Where you turn into cassettes and a boombox"
I decided to speak up finally "We are Cybertronians." I began to change back into my robot form, slightly humored at the awe the small white horse was displaying. Once I reached my full height my head almost touched against the ceiling. THe creature stood dumb-struck at me. "I am the Cybertronian, Soundwave" I leaned down to get optic level with it "What is your name" I spoke somewhat intimidatingly in an attempt to see the creatures response.
"I-I-I..a-am V-Vinyl S-scratch."
"Very well. Now tell me. What is my location?"
"E-Equestria" she was shaking almost like she was just assaulted by Rumble and Frenzy's quake generators
"Location, unknown. What life forms exisist here?"
"We-well ponies mainly, but there's other things to"
"Are there humans?"
"N-no"
"Satisfactory. When is the next day cycle?"
"In a few hours. Why?"
"Energon cells are near depletion, I must dispense more by converting solar rays into energon"
"What's that?"
"The primary power source of Cybertronians."
"Wher-"
Before she could finish there was a knocking upstairs.
"Oh crap you guys have to hide"
"Ravage, Rumble, Laserbeak, Frenzy. Operation: Assimilation" I began to transform back into my boombox form, and my minicons turned into their cassette form and hid themselves inside my torso. Upstairs I could make out faint conversation, which turned into an argument, which then turned into more 'horse' creatures coming down into our hide-away. Unlike Vinyl Scratch, these ones had armor plating covering their bodies, dark coating, yellow serpentine eyes, and a pair of wings. They began to search thoroughly the room, they found nothing of interest until one of them spotted me in the corner. He approached me and began to examine me
"I've never seen a stereo like this before, have you?" has asked his companion
"Let me see" he examined me "No I haven't, and what's this weird symbol in the middle"
I never got rid of the Decepticon symbol that was labeled onto my body. I knew I may have had to be rid of it someday, but I kept it out of pride.
"Oh that?" Vinyl spoke up "That's just a little symbol a friend of mine drew up, she said it would be good if I started having a symbol, something ponies could recognize me by, so when I put that together I painted it on there"
The guard looked suspiciously at her "Miss Scratch we'd like yo ask you a few more questions, if that's alright?"
"No it is not alright it's early in the morning and I have to go job hunting tomorrow so please leave my home at once" she spoke confidently. The guards, realizing they wouldn't get anymore information, left the home, causing Vinyl to breathe a sigh of relief. She approached me again "You're free to stay down here for the night. I'll come get you when the sun is up"
"Very well" I went into sleep mode to preserve what little energon I had left
Warning: Energon levels at critical low. Exiting Sleep mode
I held my head as I awoke, my cerebral processor going into overtime trying to tell me to get energon. I deployed my Rumble and Frenzy "Rumble, Frenzy, eject, Operation: Regeneration." I transformed into my boombox mode to allow Rumble and Frenzy to lift me out of the basement easier. At first I worried that we would have to leave the house and risk being spotted in public, but apparently this home has a window positioned in such a way that the sun shined right through it in sufficient quantities. As they placed me down I opened my solar collectors and began to recharge my energon cells. As they began to charge my processor went into a state of 'bliss' causing my other functions to work at minimal capacity. I was snapped out of it by the sound of the 'pony' Vinyl Scratch emerging from the second story.

I held my head as I awoke, my head was killing me from a hangover from drinking a little too much last night. I gasped as the events of last night came rushing back to me. I ran downstairs to make sure I wasn't crazy, and sure enough I saw Soundwave as a boombox sitting by the window in the sunlight.
I gulped "Um Good Morning?"
His voice rang back, I didn't notice it last night but it was very monotone and metallic. "Greetings"
I shook my head in disbelief "What are you?"
"I told you last lunar cycle, I am the Decepticon Soundwave"
"What's a Decepticon?"

I scolded myself in my processor. I've been introducing myself like that for so long I forgot to cut out the 'Decepticon' part of my title. She doesn't know what we are otherwise so I might as well tell her what the Decepticons are.
"Decepticons are the strongest warriors in the galaxy, fighting for a stronger Cybertron"
"A stronger Cybertron?"
"Yes for too long has our planet has not gotten the recognition it deserves. Our leader Megatron, led a rebellion against the Autobot menace to unite Cybertron under one flag and lead it into a glorious new age!"
She asked a question I was not prepared to answer
"What happened then?"
"Lord Megatron was injured in combat during an attack on Autobot city. We had to make a full blown retreat, our vessel however, could not withstand the weight of our entire strike force, injured or not. We Decepticons do not tolerate weakness in our ranks, so we ejected the injured forces into space. However the ever traitors Starscream sent Megatron among them, and effectively to his death."
Her face displayed horror "Why would you guys just get rid of you're injured like that!"
"Decepticons do not tolerate weakness among our ranks" I said flatly
"You could have done more to help them!"
"Our vessel, Astrotrain, would not have been able to complete our evacuation. Ejecting the injured ensure the survival of the strong. However it was with deep regret that Megatron could not be saved."
"So then why are you here?"
"After our failure, Starscream began to campaign as leader of the Decepticon forces. Without Megatron the army would fall and the cause was meaningless. I fled Cybertron knowing my place was no longer there"

I didn't know how to feel about Soundwave. It was a cold move to do what he and his allies did, but I couldn't help but feel sorry for him, the cause he seemed to strongly believe in died and now he has no purpose. I wanted to ask more questions but I saw the time and panicked "Crap I got to get going, I have to meet someone to see if I can get a gig. I'll be back in a few hours. Don't touch anything!" I grabbed my saddlebags and ran out the door, completely forgetting breakfast, and rushed to the train station. I got about halfway there when I realized something. I didn't have the bits to get a ticket to Canterlot, where the club was located.
I reentered my home dissapointed, I felt confident that I could have landed this gig and maybe got a few more bits. I saw Soundwave being taken back downstairs by his lackeys when they stopped to look at me.
"We thought you left?" Rumble said
"I don't have any bits to catch the train." I let out a sigh "Guess I'm not getting paid tonight"
I began to walk upstairs when I heard Soundwaves voice "Hold"
"What is it?"
"What is your occupation?"
"I'm a DJ...why?"
"Explain"
"I play music at clubs to entertain ponies. You guys don't have DJ's?"
He was silent for a moment before speaking up "I wasn't familiar with the term DJ, but we had those on Cybertron"
"It's not like it matters anyways, I probably wouldn't have gotten the gig, all my equipment sucks and I don't have any new songs"
"I may be able to assist you"
"How?"
"Take me to the outskirts of town where we may not be seen"
I was skeptical at first, but he seemed sure to help me. His Minicons jumped into his torso and I carried him to the outskirts of Ponyville. We were far enough out where nopony could see us. I placed him down and he changed again, that peculiar sound echoing through the field. When he was finished he was something I had never seen before.
"Get in" his voice startled me out of my daze and I complied. A door opened and I sat down in a metal seat. Suddenly strap was wrapped around my chest keeping me in the chair. He seemed to roar to life for a brief moment before speeding off down the road, the force of the speed kept me pinned to my chair. His voice came from a device in front of me "What is our destination?"
"Umm Canterlot, up there" I pointed a hoof at the city hanging on the mountain side
"Affirmative"
I held on to the inside for dear life, I've never seen anything go as fast as we were going, what was normally half a day train ride turned into about an hour. His voice rang out again "Life forms detected, entering stealth mode" I wanted to question what he meant by that, until we came to a complete stop, it wasn't even gradual! We just stopped! I thank Celestia that I had that harness around me, even though the stop knocked the wind out of me. I tried catching my breath when I was suddenly ejected from Soundwave and he began to turn into his boombox form.
Before I picked him up I had to ask the question on my mind "Why are you so eager to help me?"
"My reasons are my own"
I wanted to ask further, but it's probably best not to anger the being that could easily crush myself and probably half of Canterlot "What was that anyway?"
"It is called a 'car'. Does your society lack them?"
"Yeah actually, the only thing that could get around that fast is either a pegasus or the train."
"Understood. Go to your 'gig'"
My eyes widened for a moment "Right sorry" I picked him up and entered the city and went straight for the club I was hoping I could play tonight. Unless that jerk COL-7 was there.

I burst through the doors of the club with Sounwave in my magic, effectively startling the janitor cleaning up and the manager who was up on the stage
"I'm here for a gig!" I shouted panting heavily.
"Ah Miss Scratch, you're early. That's good" he said professionally making me smile wide with hope "It save me from telling you later that we already booked DJ COL-7 for tonight."
My smile died instantly, all my hopes of getting some gig shattered. I hung my head low and started heading out the door when Soundwave spoke up "Challenge him."
"What."
"Challenge this 'DJ COL-7' to a battle. Defeat him. Take your place on top."
"Soundwave I don't know how things work on Cybertron, but I can't just go beat up somepony cuz they took a gig...again."
"Not a physical challenge, a musical one."
"A DJ battle! Soundwave you're a genius!" I beamed and went back to the club owner "Hey!"
He turned down to me "What is it Miss Scratch."
"What if I had a DJ battle with COL-7?"
"That would get a lot of attention." he hummed thoughtfully for a moment "Go ask him if he accepts, if he does, come back here and we'll spread the word."
He gave me his address and I raced over there. I paused halfway through as something was bothering me, "Hey Soundwave?"
"What?"
"Why did you tell me to challenge him?"
"I understand an urge to defeat a rival"
"What do you mean?"
"When I was fighting the Autobots, there was one I considered my rival. The Autobot Blaster mimicked my form and style of fighting"
I nodded and began to continue racing to the DJ's apartment. Once I arrived I saw that he was already in the process of leaving. I ran in front of him shouting "Hey punk!"
He turned around casually, by Celestia I wanted to sock him in his smug face "What...Oh it's you Disc Scratch"
"It's Vinyl Scratch!"
"Whatever. What do you want"
"I challenge you to a DJ battle"
He looked at me a moment before laughing. I gritted my teeth "What's so funny!"
"The fact you think a wash-out like you can beat somepony like me"
I was steaming I was so angry. "How about we make it interesting then, punk"
"How?"
"If I win you admit your a posser, you copied me, and stole all my stuff"
"And what do I get, your bar tab?" he snicked to himself
I thought for a moment. What did I have that he would want? "I'll give you my new boombox here"
He looked out Soundwave for a moment "Alright. This looks pretty nice, must've sent you back a few bits, I probably just smash it when I win" he grinned holding his hoof out "You're on"
I held my hoof out and shook his, he then promptly left to go prepare for tonight. I stood there for a few moments before I realized what I just did. I looked to Sounwave, who thankfully remained quiet even though I just used him as a bet, "Umm...I...uhh"
"Let us prepare"
"What?"
"We must prepare for the battle if we are to win"
"You're not mad I just bet you?"
"Negative"
"Why?"
"Several reasons. One, you had nothing else, and two I would have done the same in the current scenario"
"Gee thanks" I stood there for a moment "How are we going to win though. The only equipment I have that works is my sound board, and even then it's kinda buggy"
"I shall rectify the situation, you help get the attention of the masses"
I nodded "Alright, I trust you" I went off to begin advertising tonight's battle

"Laserbeak eject, Operation: Upgrade"
I ejected Laserbeak and sent him to return to Vinyl's house. If we we're going to win tonight's battle, we would need to be more than a human boombox and a few cassettes. We needed an upgrade

I retrieved Soundwave in his boombox form and made my way back to the club. I looked around and I figured the worst would happen and sure enough it did. They didn't provide me with any equipment, expecting me to bring my own. I sighed and and hung my head, I knew this was a bad idea.
"Worry not. I have the situation handled"
"How so"
"Place me upon your stage"
I did as he asked and placed him on the center of the stage "What's your plan?"
"To put on a show"
Suddenly the masses flooded into the club, eager to begin partying and jamming out to the upcoming battle. DJ COL-7 took his place an set up his station. Playing a few songs to keep people happy and distracted until the real battle started.
As the night got into full swing he took his mic "Alright fillies and gentlecolts, the time is now. Somepony brave enough has challenged me to a DJ battle" Everyone in the audience let out an 'ohhhh' in unison "Now, now, let's give her a chance Introducing Disc Scratch!" he pointed his hoof at me, making the entire room look over at my stage, which still only had myself and Soundwave as a boombox. As some sort of sick joke Sounwave ejected all his Mincons in their cassette form all over the stage, making it seem like he just threw up. Everypony was laughing hysterically and I tried my best to hide myself, but it was hard with the spot light. After the laughter died down COL-7 spoke up again "Alright now since she challenged me I get the first jam. Is everypony ready!" Everyone let out a loud cheer and he began playing. It was a song I had worked on when I was I had a roommate and I was coming up with easier ways to do the dishes, so I hooked up a sub woofer to the dish washer to clean the dishes off on a microscopic level. Sadly it didn't work, but it sure annoyed the heck out of my stuffy roommate, so I consider it a win.
After he was finished the crowd let out an applause and COL-7 took the mic "Alright then Scratch. Show us what you're boombox can do" he said while laughing, a few audience members laughing as well. I gulped and looked to Soundwave. His little display on the boombox started spelling something. 'Organize us' it said, I shrugged and did just that, organizing the cassettes around the stage and placing Soundwave right in the middle. I looked at the display again and it said 'Ready yourself'. I rose an eyebrow and whispered "What are you planning?". His display lit up again spelling out 'To win'
I got behind Soundwave and pressed the play button on his body. Suddenly he and his Minicons began to transform into a high tech DJ set. Soundwave turned into a soundboard, Rumble and Frenzy turned into Amps, Laserbeak split up turning into separate laser light generators, and Ravage turned into a separate set of sub woofers. I, the crowed, and COL-7 stood there completely awe struck, no a mouth was un-gaping.
When they finally finished transforming they began making sounds that all sounded like machines powering up. It got louder and louder until at its final height Soundwave's voice rang out "DJ PON-3 SUPERIOR, DJ COL-7 INFERIOR!". The beat he dropped was indescribably amazing, the force of the bass shook the whole club, it even broke some glasses at the bar, and my personal favorite, shattered COL-7's glasses, and the lights Laserbeak was making complimented every beat that came from the speakers. The song lasted for about five minutes before dying down, everypony in the room stood there, awe-struck at the spectacle. The club was dead quiet before somepony slowly began to applaud, then some more ponies, slowly everypony in the room let out the loudest applause ever, even louder than when COL-7 was playing. I was almost in tears I was so happy. I came out from behind Sounwave and began to bow taking it all in.
I got up and saw COL-7 was trying to sneak away, but I grabbed the mic and caught him "HEY COL-7!" he stopped at turned slowly seeing me smiled fiendishly "We had a deal if I recall"
He sighed and turned back to his mic "I...COL-7 am a poser"
"And?"
"And I stole her songs"
"What else?"
"And her look"
"You're damn right...now get out"
He hung his head and left the club and I got back behind Soundwave "Now who want's to party!" everyone began cheering as another song began playing. After the show, Soundwave turned back into a boombox and his Minicons turned into their cassette forms and hoped back inside their boss. I went backstage where I was greeted by the club owner "Kid that was amazing! I don't know how you did that thing with your equipment, but it was mind blowing!"
I smiled "Thanks. It has just been a little project I've been working on."
The club owner smiled and handed me a check "Here you go kid, a job well done"
I gaped at the number that was written on the check and looked back up at the owner "There's more where that came from if you're interested"
The only thing I could do was nod, which caused the owner to let out a light laugh "Oh and I'll be sure to tell the other club owners about COL-7, they know as well as I do that the masses don't like a copy cat"
I nodded and went outside with the check in my magic along with Soundwave. The moment I was outside I let out an excited squeal and hugged Soundwave tightly "Ohmygosh! Thank you sooooo much Soundwave"
He didn't let out a response. I figured a war vet like him wasn't exactly into hugs. I stepped back "Oh sorry."
"Apology accepted. Now let us return to home, the battle has left us drained, but we still have enough for the trip home"
I was a little scared getting back into Soundwave's car mode, but nothing could ruin the rest of the night. Nothing!

I entered the club where the reports came from and approached the manager who was working on filing some papers in his office "Sir we would like to talk to you."
"Yeah yeah gimme a minute I got a lot of- OH PRINCESS LUNA I'M SORRY!"
He bowed down and began to grovel. I rolled my eyes and spoke "Stand up, we request information."
"Y-yes your highness, what do you need?"
"We heard reports of a shape shifting music device."
"Yeah that's DJ-PON-3's equipment she said she made it herself."
"Where does she reside."
"I don't know I just met the mare. I think in Ponyville though"
"What is her real name."
"Vinyl Scratch."
I nodded at him "We thank you for you're time." I left to begin organizing the search for our, visitor...
The weeks that followed were pretty sweet. I'd been getting so many gigs I had to hire my own manager, an earth pony named Sweet Melody. She had made life so much easier for me, I even had a few hours of free time to myself each week, which I usually spent hanging out at my new home in Canterlot. When I moved there I began to reconnect with some old firends of mine there, Lyra, Bonbon, and my old roommate Octavia. Lyra and Bonbon were happy to see I was doing well, but Octavia was still miffed. See, before my show in Ponyville bombed, she and I were pretty close friends. Then when I stopped getting gigs I turned to drinking, and she didn't want to live with a drunken, jobless, pony, so she left me.
Other than that things around my new home were pretty awesome. It was a bit bigger and had an extra room, so naturally I let Soundwave make his home there. He insisted on bringing the old broken equipment with us. When I asked 'why' he only responded that it was a "Personal Project". The minicons have been settling in nicely as well. Ravage, true to his cat-like appearance, spent most of his time lazing about like a real cat. Laserbeak goes out and about, I wasn't sure why, but as long as he didn't get spotted I didn't mind. Rumble and Frenzy, however, are almost like two young siblings. They spend most of their time goofing around, but then that turned into fighting, which turned into the destruction of furniture, which turned into a scolding from me. I wasn't the kind of pony to be playing the parent, but Soundwave was always too distracted by something to ever intervene. I'd even had a few noise complaints directed at me their fights got so heated. Thankfully most ponies knew me as "The DJ" so I got away with telling them that I'm just 'getting things together for my work.'
I did wonder what had Soundwave so distracted though. I tried sneaking a peak at what his special project is, but Ravage's growling was a sure sign that was a bad idea.
On one particular day, after running some errands, I decided to talk with Soundwave, maybe learn more about him. I went inside and knocked on his door, only getting silence as a response.
"Soundwave?" I called out.
I began to open the door and realized something, Ravage wasn't growling. I looked around for the metal beast only to find he wasn't there. I noticed Rumble, Frenzy, and Laserbeak weren't inside either. I began to worry.
"Did they go out in public?" I thought worried at what might happen if somepony were to see them, who knows what would happen if they were caught.

I wracked my head in frustration. It had been a few weeks since I interrogated that club owner and learned who was most connected with the 'visitor', as we refer to it now, and very little progress has been made. The only thing we've had to go on is a few noise complaints, which rarely amount to anything, and a strange animal leaving the premise regularly. I assigned some of my spies to track it, but it would elude them each time. We needed to find this visitor now more than ever, because when we discovered the vessel it came in, we discovered it was in possession of weapons, meaning it could be here to start some interplanetary war, and I would not allow that! I was about to give up all hope, and turn to my sister for help. I always hated asking for her help since my return, I wanted to prove I could rule just as well as her, which is why I haven't just bust down Vinyl's door and searched her house. I don't want the masses panicking about me coming into their homes without reason, or fearing me anymore than they do now.
I was about to head to my sisters chambers when I was cut off by one of my spies.
"Princess I have news on the visitor"
"Be quick then."
"It's on the move"
"What!"
"We spotted it, and it's not alone, at least four others are with it. We believe it's heading back to the ship"
"Mobilize the Night Watch! We are not to let it get away!"
"Yes princess!" he ran off to gather the troops. They would not be ready by the time I needed them to be. I flew off to face this other worldly being on my own.

"Alright boss ready ta go?" Frenzy asked
"Affirmative"
Vinyl had just left the house to acquire sustenance for herself, giving us a few hours to ourselves. I decided it was time to make a very important trip back to the ship.
"Ya sure you wanna do this boss?"
"Nothing will stop me from doing this"
"If ya say so"
I transformed into a boombox and we began sneaking through the crowded city. I had Laserbeak fly about and watch for all patrols and map out routes that would allow us to sneak out easily. If we were going to do it then we needed to make sure we weren't caught.
We began ducking and weaving through alleyways and city streets, narrowly avoiding being seen, until we finally made it to the front gate. There were two guards standing there at all times and our only window was when they changed shifts. We waited for about an hour before they began their change, then we made our move. We ran out simultaneously right as the they turned about, giving us a split second to roll past them and out of their view off the side of the road, which was inconveniently placed atop a cliff. We began to plummet, Rumble and Frenzy were acting erratically and spouting obscenities as we fell, Ravage was quieter but still flailing.
"Minicons, Operation: Dive bomb"
My voice snapped them out of their fear for long enough for them to transform into their cassettes and jump into my chest. I changed into my normal mode and hit the ground full force, making a crater and sending a cloud of dirt upward. I quickly changed into vehicle mode and drove off from the scene to ensure we got to our destination on time.
After a few cycles we finally arrived. The crash site was relatively undisturbed, but I picked up on several 'hoof prints' around the site. Some 'pony' had been there (off topic, frankly the term somepony and terms like it bothered me, they could easily just say some 'body' and I'm sure they'd know what they were talking about), and they had searched the ship. Whoever it was seemed to have removed all the weapons, but I had little need for them...I still have my own.
I entered the wreckage and began my search. I deployed Laserbeak to keep watch for me in case someone else came by. Whoever was here decided to make more of a mess making my search that much harder, all was quiet until Laserbeak sounded off. I panicked for a moment, if it was someone who had already been here then of course they'd notice the boombox so transforming was out of the question, I couldn't drive off because then I'd be exposed. I came to my last conclusion, whoever it was I would have to terminate them if I was to get away unnoticed.
I readied the one weapon that still functioned, my energon axe, and left the confines of the ship to face the intruder.
I landed just outside the ship, the woods around me were deathly quiet, the ship was looking worse for wear last time I saw it. I began to approach the the ships entrance, until I stopped when I heard rumbling coming from it's interior. As I tried to peer into the darkness the visitor charged at me in that form it has when it gets around. I barely dodged out of the way in time, as I tried to recover I saw him changing, the sound of metal parts shifting and whirring filled the air. I could only stare in awe as it began to take it's full shape. A massive metal being standing on two legs, in its hand an equally massive axe with a purple glowing blade.
"Who-what are you!" I sputtered out finally
In a voice that was devoid of emotion he only replied "I am Soundwave!" Then he charged at me like a madpony and swung his axe. I tumbled off to the side again barely avoiding his blade.
"How dare you attack us! By Equestrian royal law you are under arrest!" I shouted trying to intimidate him with the 'Royal Canterlot Voice'.
"You will not capture me" he replied stoically as he began another assault, much faster than before. I jumped to the side his axe barely grazing my mane, I could smell the burnt hairs. I had enough of him and began my counter attack, I launched a few magical bolts at him, which to my horror he simply seemed to be shrugging off. I hated being so drained of power after being freed of Nightmare Moon. I backed up looking him dead in the face when I saw a single cloud floating above. I grinned seeing the opportunity. I flew up towards the cloud barely dodging an upward swing from him. I landed safely on the cloud and channeled my magic into it, turning it into a mini storm cloud. My normal unicorn magic may have been weakened, but the pegasi magic I had was only as strong as the weather, which the weather is always strong. I stomped down on the cloud sending a lightning bolt directly at him. It hit him square causing his metal body to falter and the area around it to melt away.
He glared at me and stood up tall. His voice rung out once more "Laserbeak eject Operation: Destruction"
I looked on in confusion when from out of his torso a metal bird shot out. It began firing bolts at me, which while clinging to the cloud and using my wings, I began to roll out of the way of. I turned and fired another bolt of lightning at the bird, nailing it right in the head. I grinned smugly, until a shadow covered me. I turned and looked up and saw him falling from over head bringing his axe down at full force.

I ejected Laserbeak to distract the annoyingly persistent pony. I ran off to the side, predicting where she was going to keep dodging to. As I saw her turn to fire another bolt I jumped, and activated the boosters in my feet launching me into the air. Most Decepticons had them standard issue to allow brief periods of flight to give us some advantage over the Autobots.
I shot right above her and began to fall, putting my axe out in front of me as I fell with the intent to cleave her in two. To my annoyance she jumped out of the way, but in the process I got rid of the cloud she was standing upon rendering her without a weapon.
I was rather pleased until something big made contact with me and sent me flying into the woods.

As he began to plummet I panicked and deserted my cloud, and he and I began falling. I opened my wings to stop myself and regained my focus. Using my magic I pulled a loose hunk of metal from the ship and launched it at him sending him flying into the forest. I flew after him seeing the cloud of dust being shot up signifying where he impacted.
I landed in front of him and began to approach slowly. He wasn't making any movements and his axe was nowhere to be seen. As I got closer I heard shuffling in the bushes, I turned and saw two smaller metal beings jump out. They're hands we're these metal plates that vibrated back and forth. One of them charged me, while the other began to hit the ground. The vibrations we're messing with my balance, in desperation I threw up a magic barrier to shield myself from the other one. His arm made contact with the barrier and shattered it completely, but not before it slowed his momentum down and made him stumble. I turned and gave him a good buck right to the chest sending him into his ally knocking both of them over. I smirked and turned around only to see that Soundwave had gotten back up and was charging at me.
I opened my wings and flew back as he swung his fists at me, his fist made contact with the ground making a small crater. I began to open fire with more magic bolts, but this time at the hole I made in his chest from the lightning bolt earlier. To my joy they were causing more damage and opening the already large wound in his chest. Suddenly I was caught off guard with a sudden hit to my ribs and was sent careening into a tree. The sound of ribs breaking filled the air. I tried to stand and saw all three of them begin to surround me.
I threw up a magic barrier with all my might hoping it would stave them off long enough for help, if any, to arrive.

My squad began flying in towards the rendezvous point designated by the princess. Our captain gave the order to spread out and look for signs of the princess. I flew off to the north and her the sound of steel parts whirring. I approached quietly and witnessed a strange and terrifying sight. A gigantic metal being and two smaller ones were attacking a already frail looking barrier held up by a struggling Princess Luna. I gritted my teeth, let out a battle cry of "I"m coming Princess!", and charged in tackling one of the smaller ones before getting back handed by the larger one and sent careening into a tree and effectively having the wind knocked out of me. My cry didn't go unheard by my squad, as I struggled to stand I saw my squad join up with me and begin to swarm the metal menaces.
He was overwhelmed at first but he soon was getting the upper hand when he deployed some sort of cat like creature that began firing bolts at my mates. Soon they began dropping, and I saw blood staining the ground. I tried to stand only to be pinned down by the metal cat. I closed my eyes and said my final goodbyes, when suddenly, a loud cry filled the air. The cat turned to see it when it was blasted off me.

I began laying into the feeble barrier that this small blue pony put up, Rumble and Frenzy joined in. We began to see it crack when suddenly I heard someone shout "I'm coming Princess!" I turned to see a pony in armor tackle Frenzy, I back handed the whelp. I considered something though, he said he was going to save the princess, I turned to see the weak blue one panting for breath and realized something horrible. I just attacked the royalty of this planet. When I planned this I just assumed it would be someone nobody would really miss, not royalty. I panicked and planned my escape, but I was swarmed by more guards. Their attacks were weak, but they were getting lucky shots and bucking my already severe wound. I released Ravage to help dispatch the rest of them.
We began to drop them like cyber-flies, until I saw the one I back handed start to get back up and Ravage pin him down by the throat. I nodded to give him the final okay, when I was caught of guard by a loud cry and a terrifying blast of power from behind me. I was sent careening into a plethora of trees before finally hitting as solid stone. I began to go offline, before my optics failed me I saw a dark blue being and what looked like a portion of the starry sky approach me. I could sense it's rage and power before finally going offline.
I was pacing back and forth in the living room. Neither Soundwave nor his Minicons we're back and it was getting late. I pacing and eyeing his door until I couldn't take it any more. I went over to his door and tried to open it, but it was locked. So I grabbed the 'spare-key', which was essentially a bobby pin I kept in my mane, and picked the lock.
His room was littered in spare parts, some I recognized from my old equipment, others looked completely alien. I searched the room until I came across a weird device on the table in the room. It looked big enough to fit Soundwaves hand, it was made of that metal the ship was made out of, it had three prongs in the front of an opening, it's middle was a clear tube supported by the metal, and it's back looked like it was just open for Soundwave to slide his hand in it. Curiosity got the better of me and I touched my hoof to it. Suddenly a little device popped out of the top of it and shot a thin beam of yellow light that circled around the room and it stopped when it reached me. The little thing flashed yellow for a few seconds before turning green and retracting into the device. It began to transfrom the same way Soundwave does only it just got smaller and the place it made itself look like it could be held by my hoof.
I went to touch it, but I stopped when I heard a commotion outside. I looked out the window and was stricken with horror. Soundwave and his Minicons we're being dragged through Canterlot by a pony who looked like princess Celestia but she was dark blue and had a starry mane. I was staring for what felt like forever, then she looked up at me with a terrifying gaze. I retreated to below my window. I was panicking, could they know about me, how did they capture Soundwave, what would they do to him? All these thoughts and more raced through my head, until one thought stood out.
"Should I save him?" I said aloud. Deep down I knew he wasn't really my responsibility, and I've never been one for responsibility. But he went out of his way to help me get back on my hooves, I knew that it would be wrong if I didn't, but the only problem was...how was I going to save him? I began pacing through the apartment until the mail being pushed through the door slot distracted me. I sighed and walked over to it only to distract myself for a moment. I shuffled through it and gasped at one of the notices, it was a reminder that the Grand Galloping Gala was in a few days and it was to tell ponies that the castle audience would be closed that day.
I smiled wide, It was perfect! I could sneak into the castle with all the ponies there distracting the guards and find and free Soundwave! I frowned though, only ponies who were invited could get in, and even then I didn't have a fancy dress.
I went to sulking when another idea popped into my head. "Rarity!" I shouted "She said she'd owe me a favor after the show bombed!" I smiled wide, grabbed some bits, and in the dead of night hitched a train ride to Ponyville.

I finished dragging the metal horror through the streets. Almost everypony saw it, but I didn't care, this thing was going to pay for attacked my loyal guards when it woke up. I entered the castle where my dear sister was waiting. She gasped at the sight of not only my new look, which frankly I was loving, and the metal terrors I was dragging in my magic behind me.
"Luna!" she said with concern "What happened?!"
"We had some visitors arrive a few nights ago, I've been tracking them in the thought's they were hostile, I was right." I said solemly
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I wanted to prove I could handle it on my own" I began to break down "Now my personal guard are...are..." I finally lost it and embraced my sister, mourning the loss of the guards. As I was crying my sister motioned to some guards to take 'Soundwave' and his minions to the dungeon.

I arrived in Ponyville a few hours later, early in the morning. I rushed over to Carousel Boutique and began pounding on the door. I was greeted by a rather irritated mare with a case of bed-head. She was rubbing her eyes asking "Do you know what time it is?" she asked annoyed I deprived her of sleep
"Yeah...you owe me a favor"
She opened her eyes, saw me, and perked up immediately "Oh Vinyl deary I didn't know think you'd come here of all times, dreadfully sorry." she said "Please come in, I'll make some tea." she waved her hoof to motion me inside. I followed her inside into her kitchen where she began boiling a pot of tea. I sat at the table where she turned and yawned to me "So what is it you need my dear?" she began "And once again I'm terribly sorry for causing you all that grief with my...'fashion' show" she shivered remembering the horrors it brought
"It's fine Rarity, I wanted to ask you though, you're friends with Celestia's student right"
"But of course dear. Why do you ask?"
"Well I was kinda hoping you could ask her to see if she can get a ticket to the gala coming up, and maybe you can make a new dress for me?"
She looked at me for a moment "Why do 'you' want to go to the gala, if i may ask?"
"Well...umm...a friend of mine is going to be there and he wanted me to go but I didn't get a ticket." I was a pretty good liar
"Hmm...Alright I'll see what I can do about the ticket as for the dress I think we can get started on that as soon as possible...on the house"
I smiled "Thank you so much Rarity this means alot"
"Of course, In wouldn't be the Element of Generosity if I didn't do both of these for you" she smiled a bit egotistical about her title, although living up to it to the fullest.
We had our tea, she got ready for the day, and then began getting ready to make my new dress. I had one idea for it in mind though. "Hey Rarity?" I asked while she was taking may measurements
"Yes Vinyl?"
"Do you think you could put a pocket on the inside of the dress near the back to fit something about this big?" I held my hooves up like I was holding something. I was making it about the size of that device I found in Soundwave's room, I figured bringing it my come in handy
"I'll see what I can do" Rarity said as she began to go to her sewing machine and got to work on my...disguise

The night of the gala came and I had my plan was coming together. Rarity came through with my ticket and dress, which i thanked her for gratefully, I dyed my mane and tail brown so I would blend into the crowd better and this way it'd be harder to recognize me, and I spent some time trying to figure out that device Soundwave made. Turns out it's an Energon repair ray' so I can fix up Soundwave if I find him. All I had to do now was get into the castle, find Soundwave, probably repair him and his minicons, and get out unseen...the more I thought about all of that I realized it might not be as easy as I thought.

The night of the gala came and I still had to decide how to punish Soundwave. My sister had sent someponies out to retrieve the guard and to my happy surprise they were all still breathing, horribly injured, but alive. Nopony, however, had attacked royalty in thousands of years, not since Discord, but the punishment that came with that could not apply to him.
I went to the dungeon and stopped in front of his cell. He had not moved since I placed him in there. I assumed he was dead, but my sister insisted that there was a 'spark of life' still inside of him and his minions. I didn't believe her in the slightest, nothing could survive a lightning bolt to the chest and the amount of magic I unleashed on him. Even if he was still alive, if he stayed down here he'd die soon. Either way his punishment would be delivered to him and Equestria would be safe from whatever evils I knew he was planning on bringing with him.

I made my way into the castle easily enough, I just flashed my ticket and they let me in. I walked around looking for hopefully some sign of where they were keeping Soundwave. I kept pushing my way through the crowd until I hit the jackpot inside the ballroom. Two guards were conversing off to the side talking about some 'visitor' kept in the dungeon and how one of them had to 'get back to guarding him'. I smiled, this was my chance to find Soundwave, albeit a bit convenient, but I didn't care at the time. I trailed the guard as he made his way out of the ballroom and into the hallways of the castle. I kept low as I trailed him only to hear the sound of another patrol coming my way. I panicked and looked for a place to hide and spotted a rather large potted plant. I lifted the plant from the pot and ducked inside dropping it on myself and laying low until I heard the muffled sound of the guard passing. I popped out coughing up dirt and shaking myself off. I continued my pursuit of the first guard. I walked down the hallway for the few minutes before catching up with him opening a large heavy looking wood door. He went inside and I heard the faint sound of it locking behind him.
I let out a frustrated swear as I approached the door. I had to come up with some way to get in, and chances are if I do stealth will be out the window seeing as the place would be probably full of guards. I got out the Repair ray thing I had and hooked it up to my hoof. The day I figured out what it was I tried to test it, turned it on, and set half my apartment ablaze, but it fixed up one of my stereo's...plus it said what it was when I turned it on.
I began to power it up, the tube in the middle began to glow bright blue as it made a high pitched whine. I pressed in on it with my hoof and it fired a bright blue beam at the door, searing right through it. The guard that just went in came back out, I panicked and used the ray gun to butt him on the head really hard, knocking him out cold. I rushed inside moving past quite the plethora of empty cells, I guessed the crime rate is pretty low. I kept running until I finally found Soundwave's cell,but to my utter dismay he was guarded...by Princess Luna

I stood there before the intruder in a combination of disbelief and anger.
"Who are you!?" I commanded "How dare you intrude in our castle!"
I saw the fear in her eye. I eyed the weapon in her hand and my eyes went wide with realization.
"You've been hiding this abomination haven't you!"
She was taking a step back, her silence was damming. I glared at her with the hatred I only felt since I was Nightmare Moon. I took a step forward.
"I will not let you take this war machine out of here, and I will not let you hurt my citizens!"
Fear became replaced with confusion, but I didn't fully notice it until after I began to attack her. I fired a few magic bolts from my horn, which despite the confines of the narrow dungeon hallway, she avoided. I was attacking relentlessly pushing her back, until she stumbled and landed on her back. I approached her charging my horn ready to deal the final blow. She flinched, causing the device in her hand to fire off hitting my point blank in the chest and sending me back as well. I stood up ready to assault her once again.
She called out down the hallway "Princess he's not here to hurt anyone!"
"Then explain why he attacked me and hospitalized most of the Night Guard"
Clearly she had not known about this incident, her mouth was agape and all she could say was "W-what"
"This 'thing' attacked me! And according to Equestrian law, attacking the royal pony sisters is a crime punishable by death!"
She was shocked, we stood at stand still for what seemed like hours until she looked at me with a renewed conviction.
"NO!" she shouted "Soundwave would never hurt anypony!"
"Then explain why he almost killed me and my men!"
She was at a loss for words for a moment "He's my friend! I won't let you hurt him!" She pointed the device she had at her hand at me, but I was surprised to see her turn it on Soundwave. I chuckled "What do you intend to do...burn a hole through your new 'friend'"
She smirked and fired the device, which to my surprise it didn't hurt him, it began to actually heal him. I fired a bolt at her to try and stop her from finishing, while the bolt hit her square in the chest, apparently she did what she needed to do, and Soundwave was coming back to life.

My optics turned on just in time to see Vinyl Scratch get blasted by a bold of energy. In her 'hoof' I saw the energon repair gun I had been working on for some time. Across from her I saw that cursed 'princess' glaring at me with anger, energy powering up in her horn.
"This time when I hit you you'll stay dead!" she fired a blast, I reacted quickly and threw up my newly repaired energon barrier stopping the blast in it's tracks. The light from the two forces colliding blinded her long enough for me to break open the flimsy cell doors the contained me. It collided with her and pinned her to the wall and dazed her. In my haste I grabbed my energon ray and began to make my escape, leaving Vinyl by herself. I bust through the walls leading upward and rushed through the hallways, breaking out of a window. I transformed, landing in some sort of gathering in a garden, scaring off everyone and driving off into the night.

A strange new being comes to this world, tries to fit in, befriends a pony, attacks the princess, and with the help of the Elements of harmony ruins the Grand Galloping gala. It was the perfect time to wake up and get ready to spread some chaos. Soon the last strands of harmony that bound me would shatter. However I believed our new visitor would pose a problem. I needed something to stand against him, something that's familiar with him, something clever, something who will take any opportunity it can to win, something...that just refuses to die.
I began to wake up I don't know how much later. I only remembered getting a magical bolt to the chest which caused me to try and sit up out of reflex, but it turned out to be a terrible idea. My chest was bandaged and in heavy pain from where the bolt struck me. I took the time to examine my surroundings, no different from when I was awake, the Canterlot Dungeon, only this time I was inside the cell.
I sighed, 'How could this have happened?' I thought to myself. 'Why would Soundwave attack the princess?' My train of thought was interrupted by the sound of horseshoes clopping on the stone floor. I pretended to fall back asleep hoping that whoever was coming down wasn't Luna, but that would have been too much to ask for, it was in fact Luna.
"Wake up." She said impatiently, not wanting to incite her wrath anymore I complied. I sat there in silence as she glared at me.
"Why?" she said after a moment of silence. "Why would you betray your nation and harbor a creature of war like that?"
I sat in silence
"Do you have any idea what it can do? Thousands of lives could be at stake with it on the loose."
"His name is Soundwave, and he wouldn't hurt anypony..." I said half confidently
"Then explain why my guards are all hospitalized with serious injuries!" She snapped back at me
I fell back into silence not knowing what to say.
"Once we bring it to justice we'll decide what to do with you."
She trotted out of the dungeon leaving me alone in the dark...

I had been driving for megacycles now. I drove deep into the woods unaware of where I was anymore, but I didn't care as long as I was far enough away to give me time to plan my next move. I had my repair ray with me which will definately come in handy in the near future, other than that I was up an energon waste flow without a paddle. The royalty of this planet had a death wish against me, to be honest I can understand why. I stopped driving to save some energon and opted to continue on foot. I was walking for a few megacycles until I noticed a strange phenomena occurring around me. The regular cumulus was replaced by a sugar based food humans called 'Cotton candy'.
I examined it closer, I was aware by this point that this planet, much like Cybertron in some ways, had a symbiotic relationship with it's inhabitants. However I was fairly certain that sugary clouds were not part of this planets natural weather cycle. I began to examine the strange phenomena when I was hit by a sudden wave of force. I jumped up examining the area until my audio receptors picked up on something, the faint screaming of an Earth fighter jet. I activated my rocket boosters to lift me above the tree line, and what I saw made my very spark shake with pure rage. The nuisance I thought I had been rid of forever, the one I thought to be dead, the one who just never shuts up...Starscream. He was flying towards the capital creating sonic booms with the speed he was flying at, wreaking havoc for anyone within range of him. I clenched my fist and began developing a plan, I was not about to live on this planet if I knew he was still alive somewhere on it. I readied my energon ray and returned to the scene my encounter with the lunar princess...

I was out in the courtyard shouting orders to the soldiers. Discord had broken free and was wreaking chaos among the populace. I was orchestrating an evacuation of the city. Celestia had placed her faith on the Elements of Harmony, but I was not so convinced that they would handle the problem in time to stop too much damage from being done.As the troops mobilized I remembered I had one more problem I had to take care of. I went down into the dungeon and found Vinyl Scratch sleeping. I banged on the iron bars to awaken her
"Wake up, we're evacuating the city and leaving you here to the hands of Discord is a punishment nopony deserves"
She stood up, her eyes were bloodshot from what I can only imagine from crying, and walked towards me. I placed a spell on her that if she tried to go to far away from me she'd be paralyzed, and we ran out of the dungeon. As we navigated through the halls a wave of force hit me and her at the same time, and I heard the dreadful sound that Soundwave made when he changed his forms. I looked up and saw a new being entirely, his build was scrawnier than Soundwave's probably for flight, and he bore the same dreadful mark Soundwave had on his torso.
I glared at him with rage as he approached me and Vinyl Scratch. He spoke his voice like somepony scratching a chalkboard inside my ears "Aww you must be Princess Luna, my lord wants you for an audience" He began to walk towards us. I fired a magic bolt to scare him off but his metal skin absorbed it easily. "Now now," he said smugly "No need to get violent" he held his arm out and from a metal device on his arm sprayed a green mist right into Vinyl and mine face's, knocking us out cold.

I drove back up the cliff to the city and saw a crowd of civilians being evacuated. I transformed and ran past the crowd, hoping over the front gate and rushing through the city streets making my way towards the palace. As I was traveling through the city I saw ponies afflicted with some sort of mental disorders of all kinds. Some rambling about something indistinct while others were chasing one another with the intent to kill. Some structures left their foundations and began to float through the air lazily, I even spotted the hedge maze of the castle vanish all at once leaving a crater in the ground, I saw some beings in the center but they were not my concern right now. I finally reached the castle doors, I kicked them open knocking them clean off their hinges. Before me was the main lobby, a set of stairs leading upward to the rest of the palace, atop them a bound Vinyl Scratch and Luna. I began to approach them when I was caught off guard by a blaster bolt to the torso. I tried to scan to see where it came from, but the fool in his overconfidence revealed himself for me, deactivating the visual cloak he had.
"Ah Soundwave it's good to see you again" he said smugly
"Starscream..."
"What's the matter not content with seeing your old commrade"
"What are you doing here?"
He pointed his blaster at me "I should ask you the same, leaving Cybertron and landing on this overly bright planet"
"I left because the Decepticon cause died when Megatron did."
"Ahh but Megatron in fact lived"
"Lies!"
"Oh but it's true, during my wonderful coronation he took it upon himself to get an upgrade and kill me the moment I finally reached my victory"
I couldn't help but laugh
"What is so funny!"
"Even when you achieve your goal you still fail it"
He fired another bolt at my chest, not lethal but enough to get his point across "Yet here I am Soundwave, alive while Megatron, or should I say Galvatron, is nothing but scrap inside the hallowed remains of the eater of worlds"
"What?"
"Yes Megatron made a deal giving turning himself into an obedient servant for the one called Unicron"
"How do you know this"
"I was watching, my spark is not so easily extinguished and I watched as Galvatron fell and the Autobots finally attained total victory"
I sat in silence for a moment trying to comprehend why Megatron would even consider groveling at the foot of someone else.
"How are you here?" I said trying to understand why he was alive now
"My new master, Discord, gave me a new body and promised that he would return me to my rightful place as long as I helped him have his fun" he smirked "His power exceeds Megatrons."
I shook my head in disbelief "No one is as powerful as Megatron"
"Oh but he is, he can distort the very fabric of reality around him, I'm sure you saw his handywork." he lowered his blaster for a moment "And you know what else he's much more merciful, in fact he's telling me to give you an offer." He turned towards the captive ponies "All you must do is execute these two organic wastes of space, and he'll allow you to bask in his power"
I looked up at the princess and Vinyl for a moment. An offer like that was promising. I stood up and began my ascent up the staircase, Starscream following close behind apparently eager to see their deaths. Once I was before them I stood there for a moment and looked into their eyes, Vinyl's was full of fear and feelings of betrayal while Luna's eye's were filled with anger and hate. I looked at Starscream one last time before I raised my fist into the air
"What are you waiting for? Crush them!"
"You know what Starscream?"
"What?"
I turned quickly throwing a punch right into Starscream's face causing him to reel back "What the-" before he finish I kicked him in the torso, causing him to fly off the stairs to the ground below. "What are you doing!?" he shouted "Discord could offer you power no one else could."
I began my decent down the stairs "Starscream, despite what you think these people follow the Decpiticon way to the latter" "
"Oh and hows that?"
"Their rulers have total power, they are leaders because they are the most powerful. They use their power to do what must be done." I continued down the steps "They use their power to fight for their citizens and in return they follow them without question. That is the way Decpticons lead, they way Megatron led, and that is the way this princess leads"
"Why!? Why choose them over the power Discord can offer you!?"

"Because Starscream..."

*Ding Freeze frame* Hi and thanks for reading 'Double the bass'. For those who want to make the next few moments a little bit sweeter go a head and play this*Ding unfreeze*
I activated my Neuron Assault Rifle* and opened fire on Starscream, hitting him with a hail of bullets. As he was stunned I charged at him and tackled him through the open door way, I began to unleash a viscous assault of fists on his face plate. He lifted his arm enough to hit me in the side with is blaster and shake me off him. I recovered quickly and double drop kicked him in the chest, pushing myself back up sickly and leashing another round of shots on him as he was stumbling back. He finally recovered and tried to return his own volley only be deflected by a Energon barrier I threw up, the fool drained his entire clip and I socked him in the face once more.
"I hate your face! I hate your voice! I hate that you lived as long as you did! JUST DIE YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SCRAP METAL!!" I shouted as I continued to punch him mercilessly, reveling in every hit I struck him with. I was suddenly distracted by a cloud of cotton candy in my optics. He took this opportunity to return the assault I delivered onto him. His blows precise and cheap hitting me in my weak points eventually causing me to stumble back. I began to come at me again but I activated may Scatter Blaster* and made him regret that choice, the entire shot connected with his torso sending him flying back into a building.
"Enough!" he said and transformed into his jet mode and unleashed a volley of shots from his Gatling guns, I threw up another barrier.
"Laserbeak, Ravage, Ruble, Frenzy eject! Operation: Starscream!" I deployed my newly repaired Minicons at him. Laserbeak threw up a protective barrier preventing them from taking fire. They landed atop him where Rumble and Frenzy activated their pile drivers
"We've been waiting for this for a long time!" Frenzy shouted as the began to assault Stascream with the pile drivers. Ravage was using his claws and teeth to dig into his wings, tearing one of them clean off and sending Starcream careening into the ground, he transformed and just as he was about to land I had transformed into my vehicle mode and rammed into him giving him a few more seconds of air time. Ravage landed on the ground and released a wave of energy at Starcream bouncing him towards Laserbeak who did the same. They began to bounce him like a pinball against each other until Rumble and Frenzy hit him in unison with their pile drivers at the same time towards me, where I grabbed him and suplexed him. As he tried to get up I turned and kicked him in the face sending him flying back a few more feet.
He sat there face down motionless for a few moments, I turned, feeling the job was done and began to walk towards Luna and Vinyl. He got up quickly to fire a cheap shot. I could have dodged it easily, but I realized the bolt wasn't for me, it was for them. Time seemed to slow down as I jumped in front of the shot, taking it to the torso, hitting my spark chamber.
My minicons where about to unleash their rebuttal until a wave of rainbow colored energy swept across the area, and Starscream's body disintegrated while everything else began to return to normal.

The wave of harmonious energy swept across me and Vinyl freeing us from our bonds. She didn't waste a moment and rushed to Soundwave's side as did his minions.
"C'mon boss ya can't shut down now!" one of them shouted
Vinyl was trying pounding her hooves on his chest desperately to get him to wake up "Where that repair ray he has!?" she shouted at one of them, the flying one to be exact. It opened hopped on his torso and opened it up revealing a plethora of lights. I sat there almost awestruck 'How could something like that have something so beautiful inside of it' I thought to myself. The bird began to peck at the lights attempting to revive him or do as Vinyl asked. They got the repair ray active and detached it from his arm. Vinyl picked it up and used it on him, only to find that it was already on low power. She used what was left to bring him back, but his power was still weak.
"V-Vinyl" he said
"C'mon Soundwave you can't die!" she said tearfully
"It can't be helped, the repair ray is drained, and my spark is dying"
She began to cry heavily, even his minions we're shedding a few 'tears'. I sat there thinking for a few moments, but they felt like hours. He attacked me and my men true, but he just sacrificed himself to save me and his apparent friend. I got closer only to have Vinyl and the minions, with the exception of the bird, take a defensive stance between me and him
"You ain't gonna hurt the boss anymore!" One of them shouted as he readied those metal mashers of his.
"Please..." I said calmly "Let me help him"
"Why should we?!" Vinyl shouted
"Because you don't have much choice" I said flatly
That enticed their anger and the began to step towards me, only to stop at the shriek of the bird who looked at me and nodded. The other minions stepped back and Vinyl followed their lead. I stood over Soundwave looking at the amazing light spectacle revealed for all to see. "Funny isn't it...Only a few days ago did I wish nothing but the worst on you."
"Do not help me..." He said
"Why?" I said very confused
"I'm weak...I died by Starscream's hand. A weak Decepticon cannot be allowed to function."
"You are not weak, It took amazing strength to do what you did." I said soothingly. I powered up my magic and began to pour it into him, hoping for the best

About an hour passed by. I was standing in the crowed of ponies in the castle to congratulate the Elements of Harmony for defeating Discord. Princess Celestia let them have a stained glass window in the castle depicting their victory against the chaos. Almost everypony was celebrating but me, I couldn't keep my mind off Soundwave. The princess had told me and the minicons to leave her to it. They were in my saddle bag now, watching the ceremony from behind the slightly opened flap, disguised as their cassettes so the can fit.
After about thirty minutes everpony cleared out but me. I sat there waiting for who knows how long, hoping and praying Soundwave was okay. Eventually Princess Luna came into the room along with her sister Celestia. I stood up and faced them.
"Vinyl Scratch" Celestia started "Soundwave will be alright"
I smiled and the news apparently made the Minicons so happy the burst from my saddle bag. Then Rumble asked "Where is he we wanna see him!"
Princess Luna spoke up "We had to deliver punishment onto him"
My jaw dropped "Y-you..." I could barely speak
"Nothing like that dear" Celestia said "However you and his little minions here must also be punished for being accopmlices"
"H-how?" I said scared
"I will take the Minicons for theirs, while Luna stays here and gives you yours" Celestia picked the minicons in her magic and brought them with her. They apparently couldn't attack her, not like that would help. I gulped and looked back at Luna who was standing over me.
"Vinyl Scratch, for assisting the escape of a criminal you are to be punished with...community service"
I rose my eyebrow "Come again?"
"You are to take care of a hero and his companions until they are in no longer need of assistance"
"How do you expect me to take care of Soundwave when I don't have the slightest clue what you did to him?"
"It will be easier than you think" she said almost mockingly
I was about to say something until Celestia came back into the room "I have dealt with them all accordingly and now Vinyl I leave them in your care"
I wanted to say something until I heard somepony shouting down the halls. He was clearly outraged by his tone. The royal sisters were giggling lightly, I ran out to see what it was and I was greeted by a sight that almost made me bust out laughing. There before me was a small black cat, a black bird that looked like a phoenix, two young colts one red and blue, and one stallion who was dark blue, had a pair of yellow sunglasses, and his cutie mark was a boombox...with the Decepticon symbol on the center of it.

I tried my hardest to stifle a laugh, but I found it more and more difficult the longer I looked at Soundwave. The irritation on his face was evident. He spoke to me, his voice still monotone and rough but without the metallic echo
"What is so funny?" he asked annoyed
I couldn't hold it any longer "Your a pony!" I bust out laughing finally. I stopped a bit short when I felt, physically felt, the amount of irritation coming from Soundwave.
I composed myself finally "S-sorry...I didn't expect the princess to punish you like this."
"She didn't"
"Come again?"
"I took this form to allow me to blend in better to 'better receive the punishment' as she put it"
"Wait, you could have been disguised as a pony this whole time?"
"Correct"
My eye twitched angrily "Well why didn't you do that before!"
"I hate taking organic forms. I have to imitate some organic functions and variations of them to keep a legitimate cover"
"So wait this isn't your punishment?"
"No"
"Then what is?"
Princess Celestia finally spoke up "Soundwave has been tried with insanity, therefore he must be allowed recover properly, as compared to the alternative." she said with almost a smirk
"Princess I hate to be rude but would you explain the full deal?"
She nodded "Vinyl Scratch you are to take care of the Cybertronian's until they are deemed worthy to fit into society"
"That doesn't sound so bad"
"However," she continued "You must leave Canterlot and move back to Ponyville"
"Aww why?"
"Do you really want him to learn about fitting in with the ponies from Canterlot?"
I went to say something but remained silent as I saw the logic in that, definitely didn't want Soundwave acting like a pompous ass.
"There must be a catch," Soundwave said
I turned and looked at him "What do you mean?"
"There must be something your not explaining, you're letting us off to easy."
"You're right Soundwave, as you are aware I tend to show mercy to all beings. Along with you and your little friends, you must live with one other of your kind"
I could see the look of horrible realization in Soundwave's face "You can't possibly mean..."
Before he could finish a red blur tackled him down the hallway. The two of them came to a stop, leaving Soundwave pinned by a red pegasus with a black tail and a black mane that was rough cut and hanging on one side of his head, sort of like mine I guess.
He was laughing manically "Did you think me beaten so easily!" he said getting his face close to Soundwave's.
Soundwave the proceeded to headbutt him, making him release his hold on Soundwave's hooves. Soundwave stood up grabbed the red pony in his hooves and tossed him back down the hallway with great force, apparently despite his smaller size all of his strength was still there. The red pegasus flared his wings open to make himself stop, and charged back at Soundwave, Soundwave charged at him as well. Just as they were about to collide they were wrapped in a golden aura that suspended them in the air. I turned and looked at Celestia, who's horn was glowing, as she approached the two.
"The punishment for both of you is that you must learn to live peacefully together or be destroyed, understood"
The red pegasus spoke up, his voice was shrill and rather whiny sounding "Do you think that the Great and Powerful Starscream will stoop as so low as to listen to an organic like you!" His self appointed title reminded me of a mare who tended to be a show off.
"I realize this isn't an ideal situation for you, but you will be punished for siding with Discord and kidnapping Vinyl Scratch and my sister."
Starscream flailed angrily trying to break free of her magical grasp, while Soundwave remained calm, but with a definite look of disappointment on his face. I approached the three of them, when Celestia looked back at me. "As I have said Vinyl Scratch it is your job to care for them on their journey....and make sure they don't harm anypony or each other."
I gulped at the task ahead of me "I don't have a choice do I?"
She simply smiled "I would give you some other community service if I didn't trust you could handle the two of them. Now in Ponyville you'll find a home waiting for you. If you need help ask my pupil" she released their grip of them and they both fell to the floor, Soundwave landed on his hooves where as Starscream landed on his face from all of his flailing.
Starscream got up and said begrudgingly "I'll follow this ruling...for now"
I could tell Soundwave rolled his eyes as he gathered his Minicons "Let us depart then...the sooner we get this done the better." he said giving the ponified Starscream a glare.
We began to leave the castle and make our way to Ponyville. As we were walking we all stayed silent, I occasionally looked back at the them and they kept their own heads forward not daring to make eye contact with the other. The minicons staying equally as silent
An interesting question popped into my head "So what's with both of your cutie marks?"
Starscream titled his head not knowing what I was talking about, but Soundwave spoke up "Elaborate."
"Well you guys both have one, did you put them there on your flanks?"
Starscream looked back at his, which was an image of a playing card that was an ace but instead of the normal card symbols his was the Decepticon symbol. "How did that get there?" he asked
Soundwave spoke up "When we take on organic forms we first scan a nearby life form for a template. We scan all of their anatomy and do our best to imitate it. When we scanned the Equian form of this planet we took on certain characteristics of their being. When we scanned an Equian our processors devised the perfect 'cutie mark' that would best suit our individual talents, much like your own. Which is also why Rumble and Frenzy do not have one seeing as the form they chose of a young Equian wouldn't have them yet" he motioned to Rumble and Frenzy who indeed had blank flanks
Starscream looked annoyed "So mine is merely a playing card?"
"Well if you think about it it's an ace, right? So the term 'ace' is can be used as someone who's good at flying"
Soundwave laughed a little which made Starscream snap his head at him "What's so funny?!"
"Your only talent is your most basic functions, and even then your terrible at that." Starscream looked like he was going to throw another fit when he had a look of realization on his face "Clearly it means I'm not only an excellent flyer, but I've always got an 'ace up my sleeve' as the humans say"
Soundwave stopped laughing "Hardly, none of your plans ever succeed and the one time you finally wrest control of the Decepticons you're killed the moment the crown is placed on your head" he poked his hoof into his chest. Starscream gritted his teeth "Just you wait...I'll kill you just as I've killed Megatron."
"Optimus Prime defeated him, you merely took advantage of his severely weakened state, barely proving that you were strong enough to lead"
I used my magic to separate the two from each other "Alright enough you two," I said sternly. They exchanged one more glance before walking back in silence. "By the way Soundwave?" I asked after after a few more moments
"What?"
"How come you chose an earth pony as your form? Wouldn't you want to be a unicorn so you can use magic."
"I could not."
'Why?"
"My programming does not include the reality defining 'magic' you have, therefore I cannot choose that from as it would be severely flawed and possible ruin my cover."
I simply nodded as we continued in silence to the train station and ultimately Ponyville.
During the train ride I asked a few more questions about Soundwaves new form. He technically does have to sleep anyways to save power, but other things like eating he can fake, although he still only survives off of energon he can get a tiny bit of power from eating normal food. I was a little surprised how quiet Starscream was during the train ride, and from the occasional look from Soundwave, he had the same surprised feeling.
After a few quiet hours we finally made it to Ponyville by sunset. Literally the moment we stepped off the train I heard the sound of hoof hitting flesh and saw a blue blur fly past me, with an equally fast red blue chasing after him. I tried to chase after the two with Soundwave's Minicons.

Starscream's hoof connected with my torso and sent me flying into a nearby gingerbread-like structure causing me to break right through the wall. I got up and tried to recover, but the annoying bot tackled me at high speeds sending both of us through the rest of the building. He lost some momentum and released his grip sending me tumbling across the cobble stone ground. I stood up quickly as he made another dash for me. Using some quick thinking I stomped my hoof on the ground causing a loose stone to shoot up and I turned and bucked it at him making direct contact with his face and causing him to back flip in the air.
He hit the ground hard, I didn't want to take any chances this time and I ran over to him making sure that he was finished, but he hit me with a resoundingly quick uppercut, sending me a few feet into the air. He shot up after me and grabbed me, flying higher into the air until he dropped me from a point where I would reach terminal velocity. Still dazed from the uppercut I couldn't recover in time before I crashed through the roof of another building that was shaped like a earth carousel. I tried to get up only to have Starscream hit me from his full speed right in the chest making me 'cough' up some energon.
"I told you I'd get you back!" he said smugly, but I also wouldn't be defeated so easily
He foolishly got off me and began to walk around me and began to monologue about how strong he was and that same old spiel. As he walked right in front of my back hooves I pushed up with my front hooves and kicked him upward with my back hooves sending him right through the window of the building. I jumped out after him where I saw him standing ready for another attack. We charged each other only to see him get hit by a multicolored object going at about mach ten, where as I was picked up in a purple field of magic and blasted with some sort of null ray* causing me to fall into sleep mode.

While the two of them where fighting I tried running after them and keeping up, but they were much too fast for me, so I went to Celestia's pupil for help, Twilight Sparkle, she and her friends where at her tree home when I warned them of what was going on.
"Wait your friends are fighting each other?" Twilight said confused
"Yes now please hurry before they kill each other." I lied when I said Starscream was a friend, but the rest of that was true
"What do you want us to do?" She said
"I don't know anything to knock them out!"
She nodded and rushed out with her friends to try and stop the two beings from laying waste to half the town. Thankfully they slowed they came to a slight stand off after busting through Rarity's Boutique, giving time for Rainbow dash to tackle Starscream and for Twilight to knock out Soundwave. I wasn't exactly sure why Raindbow felt the need to hit Starscream doing close to her Sonic Rainboom in speed, but whatever got the job done I didn't care. We dragged their unconciouss and broken bodies to Fluttershy's cottage, which I asked them to bring them their instead of the hospital coming up with a clever line on how I though Fluttershy is much more suited for the job than a real doctor.
The minicons went to Soundwavs side, where his ribs should be was completely caved in from a nesty blow Starscream gave to him. Starscream didn't fare much better after being hit by Rainbow Dash, not to mention his face was covered in this light blue liquid which I guessed to be their blood, energon.
"Will they be okay?" I asked after a few moments
Fluttershy went between the two of them "Well...umm...they both were hit pretty hard...but they should be alright...in time..." she said shyly, making me breathe a sigh of relief.
"So tell us why they were so bent on killing each other" Rainbow Dash demanded
"They uhh...umm..." I stuttered not sure what to say until Rumble finally spoke up
"Well ya see they's both are heated rivals and they like to blows off some steam by sparring, though sometimes they can get very carried away." he spoke as if it was rehearsed, I nodded in agreement
They all looked at us skeptically until Fluttershy finally finished bandaging the two bots in disguise and realized the distance of a now furry Ravage and a feathery Laserbeak. She flew over to them with awe in her eye "Wow such a lovely coat this cat has, and I've never seen a phoenix with black fathers before!"
"Oh them that's my friend's pets, their names are Ravage and Laserbeak, and these are his little brothers I guess you could say Rumble and Frenzy"
"Those are some weird names" Rainbow Dash said
"We're not from 'round here" Rumble responded quickly
"Oh where are you from then?" Twilight asked
Thankfully they were interrupted by PInkie "Ohmygosh do you guys know what this means!?" she asked excitedly
"That we're going to throw a-"
"Party! And not just a normal 'Welcome to Ponyville' I'm gonna throw a 'Welcome to Ponyville, 'you two should be better friends and not wreck the town' party! I'll go get it ready!" she ran off before anyone else could respond to prepare a party for the two most hateful beings in all Equestria.
A/N Going to start including the perspectives of Starscream and the Minicons..Just letting you guys know
I began to awaken, only to be greeted by the wretched sight of a pale yellow organic life form, even worse it was touching me. I tried to retaliate only to find that the limb I had adopted in my organic form was broken.
"Hey sleepy head" she said her soft voice was agitating to my audio receptors
"Let...me...go...wretch"
"Aww some one's grouchy"
I growled at her and tried to position myself to swat her away only to be assaulted by another small organic creature with white fur, long ears, and a puffed tail.
"Angel Bunny no!" it scolded the abusive organic before taking it off of me "So sorry, sometimes he's a bit protective"
It was oblivious of my attempts on her, so I did what I do best, "It's...fine...apologies for insulting...you."
A few hours passed and I was fully conscious of where I was, some hovel on the edge of the town where I sprung my clever trap on Soundwave. I would have ended his miserable existence there if some lucky organic didn't hit me at mark ten, I'd have to repay it for that, but for now I needed to recover, and if one of them was willing to do that job for me...I wasn't going to complain.
I noticed an empty bed next to me that looked like it was occupied before hand "Where is my...companion?" I asked, assuming I knew who the bed was for.
The yellow one seemed to grown nervous as my condition stabilized "Oh umm...he went to Sugarcube Corner...if that's okay?"
I felt some of my pride return thinking that it had felt fear towards me, as well it should have "And where is that exactly?"
"Down the road..."
I stood up, careful not to put weight on my injured limb, and began to make my way out of the hovel only to be interrupted by the organic thing again "You're not healed enough to go there yet"
"I'm fine, I've survived worse"
"Like what?" it asked me, the question caught me off guard and telling it simply "Many things that would scar you for life simply imagining them"
It gulped "Well...um...just be careful"
I put on a fake smile "Of course" and left flying off to this place it mentioned.
As I flew I scanned the area looking for signs of Soundwave or that organic who put me in this state, and to my luck I found him entering a building which I assumed to be this 'Sugarcube Corner' the yellow one spoke of. Ignoring my injury I dove down at my target, tackling Soundwave, and tumbling inside the structure which turned out to be darkened on the inside.
"Now Soundwave you will face the might of-" I was cut off by the lights turning on suddenly and a large group of organics shouting "Surprise!"
I jumped off Soundwave and looked around at my surroundings. There were all these bright colors, organic foods and a banner saying 'Welcome to Ponyville you two should not wreck our town and be better friends' the text was rather small to fit all of the statement. I turned to Soundwave "What is this!?" I shouted at him "What is this ridiculous plan you've come up with?"
Before he could respond a bright pink organic got in between the two of us "It's a party sillies! I throw a party for everyone who comes to Ponyville and you two are new here, but you also broke some of the town so that's why I threw you this Welcome to Ponyville, you two should not wreck our town and be better friends party!" it's face was right up next to my own by the time she finished. I looked about one more time and realized it was a merely a celebration, that oddly was only invoked by the presence of myself and Soundwave.
I put on a fake smile and continued to do as I do "Terribly sorry, I'm just a little dizzy after giving my...friend here a surprise greeting" I went over to Soundwave, picked him up, and placed my arm around his shoulder in a fashion to pretend that we were comrades.

Starscream placed his arm around my shoulder and was wearing that smile he does when he lies. I was already in hot water and arousing suspicion because of my fight with him, so I decided to follow in his steps "That is correct, we greet each other that way sometimes" I mimicked his smile, the lie seemed to please the one known as 'Pinkie Pie' and she smiled widely
"It's great that you two are all ready getting along! Hope you enjoy the rest of your party!" she bounced off leaving me and Starscream with an arm around the other to which we slowly began to squeeze them down, trying to strangle one another only to be interrupted by Vinyl Scratch.
"Hey you two how you feeling?"
We released our vice grips on each other "Sufficient" I said
She smiled "That's good, What about you Starscream, how's your leg?"
"Oh it's fine, doesn't even hurt that much"
I smiled at the opportunity and gave his broken leg a good punch. He was good at concealing pain, but I could sense the amount of agony he was feeling right then "He's resilient, he'll be fine"
He bit his lip and slowly nodded "Didn't feel a thing" his voice was filled with pain which made me smile. "I must go reconnect with my Mini-...family members." I said and went off to rendezvous with my Minicons leaving Stascream in incredible agony.

I watched as Soundwave trotted off to go be with his Minicons assuming he said 'family members' to throw off anyone listening in on our conversation. Starscream limped off to places unknown to me leaving me by myself. I went to a booth and tried to plan on how I was going to get these two from each others throats. I was there for only a few minutes before my train of thought was interrupted by a familiar voice
"Hey Scratch how are you?"
I turned and saw my minty colored friend
"Lyra hey!" I got up and hugged her "It's been too long how are you?"
"Oh fine...I got a show in Canterlot coming up and the crowd is gonna be pretty big from what my manager is telling me"
"That's great!"
"What about you?"
"Alright...a series of unfortunate events have left me stuck back in Ponyville for a while."
"Yeah I was gonna ask about why you were here, I thought you moved to Canterlot? Do you know the stallions this party is for?"
I nodded "I guess you could say they're some friends of mine who need help adjusting from a big move into town. So I'm gonna be hanging around for a while" I hated lying to her, but it's better than telling her I'm in trouble with the princess and I have to watch these two like some kind of babysitter.
"Good to see you helping you're friends, I gotta say that blue one seems like your type," she said devilishly "Not a bad lookin stallion either, you should go out with him."
I blushed "Oh no he's just a friend that's all" I said a bit flustered at her statement
She rolled her eyes "Uh huh sure he is"
"He is I swear!"
"Whatever Scratch you're such a bad lair"
I tried to change the subject "So where's Bon-bon?"
She fell for it "Oh she's around here somewhere, probably at the candy bar, she likes sweets just as much as she likes making them"
I giggled "That's Bon-bon for ya, she's gonna get big if she keeps it up"
Lyra giggled as well "Well it was great seeing you again, later" she went off back into the party, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I was once again interrupted by sompony only this time it was Pinkie
"Alright everypony you ready to kick this party into full gear!" her enthusiasm was contagious and everyone was stomping their hooves "Alrighty then!" she walked over to a table with a rag on it and nothing else and pulled it off revealing a turn table. I thought she wanted me to play it but to my surprise I saw Soundwave get behind it.
"You're host has convicned me to try and play a few songs, Forgive me if I am not that great at it" a few ponies laughed at that.
I wasn't sure if Soundwave could actually DJ. I mean he can turn into a device that plays music, but I thought that was different. His minicons rallied around him and he turned to them saying "Rumble, Ravage, Laserbeak, Frenzy, Operation: Entertainment" he loaded up the first track with surprising ease, the reason it's surprising is because he used his hooves, and began playing the first party track. As the songs went on I saw him and his Minicons working furiously behind the table, all of them had a part it seemed in managing the songs that played and for the most part, it was really good, almost better than me even. I saw that everypony was enjoying themselves to the songs that played, so I shrugged and jumped into the crowd to join them.
After a few hours almost everypony had left Sugarcube corner, most of whom were talking about the awesome DJ. I met up with Soundwave afterwords and had a chance to talk with him.
"I didn't know you could DJ"
He seemed rather reluctant to talk about it "Yes...I've had some experience."
"What's wrong?"
He sighed "I haven't been behind a turntable since before I joined the Decepticons."
"How long ago was that?"
"What is the time length for a year on this planet?
"365 days a year, why?"
"Approximately 13 million years ago"
I coughed up in surprise at that "What!? You guys have been fighting for that long!?"
"Affirmative"
I was at a loss for words "Was it that bad?"
"Yes...It was a very heated war."
I tried to change the subject to something less grim "So ummm...why did you tell me you where a DJ"
"I don't like to think back to that time"
"How come?"
"It was a time before the war, many were prosperous and all was peaceful"
"That doesn't sound so bad."
"I was not one of the many who prospered, and then Megatron offered hope for the down trodden..."
"Oh..." I was silent for a moment "L-let's just go home..."
Just as we were about to leave Starscream seemed to appear from nowhere
"Where were you?" I asked
"I was educating myself" he replied like it was a prepared response
I was too tired to care "Whatever...let's get some rest"
That night we made our way to the address the Princess gave us. Turns out no one bought my old home so we just got that. I realized something slightly terrifying, there was only two bedrooms. I turned to Soundwave and Starscream "Hey guys..."
"What" they said in unison
"They're only two bedrooms...you two are gonna have to share"
Both of their eyes twitched in unison making me laugh a little
The night went as well as we expected. Soundwave and Starscream spent most of the lunar cycle arguing, while Rumble and Frenzy had to share the couch in the living room, which big surprise, turned out about the same. The only one of us who got any sleep was Ravage, which isn't surprising, despite being from Cybertron in his spark he's still a cat and can sleep through the war if he wanted to. I myself decided to find a nice perch outside to keep an eye on everything. I've grown to try be productive no matter the situation so rest is a luxury I usually pass on.
As the sun rose I kept up my productive streak and opened my solar collectors, which I disguised as my wings, to ready the production of energon cubes which I know that all of them are in probable need. The collective groaning coming from inside told me I was right. I flew in from the window and met up with Soundwave in the kitchen, who in his new form had to produce cubes by shaping them with his hooves. He and I shared an unspoken bond that always allowed us to assume that we've done something the other has needed, like as of now when I released my solar cells into the empty cubes to make energon. Once that was done everyone, with the obvious exception of Vinyl, was up and crowding around us to get their share of engergon.
"I have the least amount of energy so I get to go first!" Starscream shouted
"Oh no you ain't pullin' that again! Me and Frenzy get first dibs!"
Vinyl came out of her room looking like a zombot, yawning "What is going on?"
"I am still your superior so I get the first cube!" Starscream continued unhindered by Vinyl's presence.
Vinyl rolled her eyes and squeezed past the crowd getting her own sustenance. Times like these make me glad that I am equipped with my own personal energon converter, allowing me to avoid these petty squabbles for energy even though we have plenty of it. After about an hour of arguing, physical confrontation, and the eventual intervention from Vinyl she gathered all of us around in her 'living room' as she so called it, a rather odd name considering one lives in every room of the house unless their dead.
"Alright," she started "If you guys are gonna live and fit in around here you're going to have to do a few things"
"Elaborate" Soundwave said
"First you and Starscream are going to need jobs."
"I refuse to work for an organic!" snapped Starscream
"Well sucks to be you then because you are working for one, I don't care what job it is, but you're getting one. I recommend Weather Patrol"
Starscream growled in annoyance "What does that entail?"
"Not much as far as I know, you just gotta maintain the weather. As for you Soundwave, unless you want to compete with me as a DJ there's an opening at the repair shop down the street, seeing as how you can probably fix anything I'm sure you'd get the job easy."
Soundwave nodded in acknowledgement and Vinyl turned her attention to us Minicons "Ravage and Laserbeak are obviously cool and don't have to do much of anything"
'I intended to do that anyways' Ravage 'said' in a way that really only us bots could hear.
"As for Rumble and Frenzy well...You two have to go to school"
"WHAT!" they shouted in unison
"People are gonna get suspicious if they see two little colts running around out of school. Soundwave is gonna have to go down there sometime today and get you two enlisted"
"Why do I have to go?" Soundwave asked
"Because you're their 'guardian' and they probably won't believe that I'm their caretaker seeing as how I know the teacher and she knows me."
He let out a sigh in defeat, rather unable to compete with that logic "Very well. Is that it?"
"One more thing" her horn powered up and she used her 'magic' to basically slap everyone but me and Ravage across the face "Don't spend all freaking night arguing like children, it puts me in a bad mood"
"How dare you do such a thing to me you organic piece of trash I shall-" Starscream was cut off by another slap and a death glare from Vinyl which surprisingly made him stop. If any Decepticon had known that would have shut him up we all would have done it years ago.
We all began to depart to do our tasks for today, I however was not given one so I gave myself the task of watching over Rumble and Frenzy. Starscream was a loud mouth but most of his threats were empty, Soundwave and Vinyl could take care of themselves, but the though of those two being around school children was probably not a situation that should go unsupervised seeing as how they were quick to temper and if any child were to anger to them...it was something I'd rather not process.
I was trailing them on their way to the school to learn the path myself. Once they had arrive they met up with the individual organic who was their teacher, I landed on the school house and listened in.
"Hello can I help you?" The teacher said cheerfully
"Yes I need to enroll my...children" Soundwave said. His voice must have startled the teacher and his pause must have confused her judging by the look on her face.
"Are you their guardian?"
"Yes"
"Well I'd need you so fill out some papers but I think I can get them into today's lesson. What are their names?"
"Rumble" "Frenzy" they said their names one after another
"What interesting names" she said with a smile, oddly enough without sarcasm "Well run inside you two and find a seat I'm going to get the papers for...I'm sorry I didn't get your name"
"Soundwave"
"Well Mr. Soundwave come right this way and I'll hand you the paperwork"
As they went inside I perched myself on the open window, apparently the building lacked any other ventilation. I scanned the classroom seeing all manner of young children inside, but two specifically caught my optic a light pink and silver one. The conversation going on between them was basically them belittling other organics and acting like they were su[erior for having their 'cutie marks'. The two of them combined almost matched the insufferable ego of Starscream...almost. I just hoped they avoided Rumble and Frenzy and that the two could stay low...
"Attention class we have some new students today"
...but that would have been too much to ask for
"Meet your new classmates Rumble and Frenzy."
"Like, what kind of names are those?" The pink one spouted off, her voice now above everyone else made me realize how annoying it really was.
"Now Diamond Tiara that's no way to talk about somepony"
"Ya gots a problem with our names!?" Rumble rebuttled
'Oh Primus no' I pressed my wing up against my face at the situation
"Now now children be nice" The teacher said "Rumble, Frenzy you two can take the empty seats by the back"
The two of them glared at the snobbish children for a moment before taking their seats...It was going to be a long day cycle.

After dropping off Rumble and Frenzy I located the repair shop that Vinyl had mentioned and entered it. The organic maintaining the establishment was light brown, had a dark brown scruffy mane, and his mark was an hourglass. He was behind the counter as I walked in.
"Welcome, I haven't seen you around here before."
"I am new to town." Apparently my voice had the same effect on him that it did the teacher
"Well what can I do you for?"
"I am looking to acquire a job"
"Ah well as it turns out I am hiring for somepony to look after my shop while I take leave for a while."
"What happens when you return"
"Depends on how well you can manage the shop"
"I am adept at repairing all kinds of objects, but I specialize in electrical appliances you could say"
"I'll hire you if you can fix this bloody thing" he pulled from out under the counter a small silver device and placed it upon the top of the table. I examined it closely and looked at him, there was no way this technology existed on this planet and judging by the way he was looking at me...he knew more than he was letting on.
"What is your name?" I inquired
"Most ponies around here call me Doctor Whooves"
"You're not who ponies think you are"
"Neither are you friend"
I furrowed my brow "You know of my origin then"
"Of course your the infamous Soundwave, communications expert and master spy of the Decepticon army. Honestly I'm surprised to see one of you lot here"
I was surprised to hear how much he knew about me "So then," he continued, grabbed his device and pointed it at me "What sort of invasion plan are you lot coming up with because I wo-"
"The Decepticons are dead" I cut him off mid sentence
"Come again?"
"Megatron has fallen and only my some of my Minicons and unfortunately Megatron's sky commander remain"
"Starscream is here?"
"Unfortunately"
"Hmm...That's not good, he's too ambitious for his own good." he pondered for a moment "Tell you what Soundwave, you obviously have no love for him, you keep him in line while I'm gone and I'll let you work here as long as you want"
"Agreeable terms" I said simply
"Excellent, well I must be off, the missus is waiting for me" He turned and left out the back, leaving me to myself. Alone in a shop where I do nothing but repairs...it was the perfect job.

I flew upward to locate the central office of the 'Weather Patrol'. I found that it was atop clouds and the structure itself was in fact made of clouds.
"When I take over I'm going to force someone to tell me how this makes any remote sense" I wasn't one for magic, especially after the time I was time warped back into the Middle ages of Earth's time. So seeing all of this magic was messing with my logic processor.
I hovered into the building and approached the front desk, I was skeptical that they would hire me seeing as how my front leg was still broken from that damnable organic, and Soundwave as of the last lunar cycle. I waited for a few moments seeing if some organic would come out, but when none did I grew impatient.
"Hello?" I shouted out, an organic responded "Yeah yeah give me a minute"
I was infuriated enough from this mornings disrespect and now this, it's not like it could be any...
"What do you need?"
...worse. It was that same organic who broke my arm and humiliated me. We slammed our forelegs on the desk "I remember you!" we shouted in unison.
"You broke my leg and hit me at mach 10!"
"You destroyed half my friends homes!"
"An acceptable loss for my plan!"
"What plan? Fighting somepony who clearly could have beat you if you hadn't gotten a cheap shot in!"
"Do not test me fool! You know not who you deal with!"
"Apparently some jerk who thinks highly of himself."
I was almost at the breaking point "You are not worth my time I am here to seek employment, now who is in charge?"
And if it wasn't bad enough she said "I'm in charge around here and there's no way I'm giving you a job"
I was going to snap until my optics spotted her mark, and from what I could tell it meant she was fast "How about a deal?"
"No way I don't deal with scum like you" she began to leave
"A contest of physical ability then?"
That perked her interest "I'm listening"
"A race"
She turned back towards me with as smirk "A race? Do you know who your talking to. I'm Rainbow Dash the best flyer in Equestria!" Her ego was almost oozing from her
"As I said you don't know who your dealing with, I am Starscream the best flyer in the universe!" I said with my trademark confidence.
"Where and when?"
"Where can we?"
"There's a race course near by"
"Then we shall race in a few hours, now what shall be the terms"
"You win you get the job"
"Excellent"
"But...If I win then you have to be my unpaid servant for a month"
So it was either have a job or do what I've been doing for the last 13 million years...so I had nothing to lose "Very well then, its a deal." I stuck my hoof out and bumped it with hers finalizing our deal.

Several rather dull hours went by as I was monitoring Rumble and Frenzy and for the most part the rest of the day went off without a hitch. Until a child acknowledged my existence and alerted everyone in the room saying "Look it's a black phoenix!"
I sighed'Aw scrap'
The whole of the classroom came over to the window I was perched at and began to examine me with wonder. I wasn't really sure what the big deal was, but as some point I'd have to research what a phoenix was as to avoid this issue in the future. As they were all examining me I spotted Rumble and Frenzy still sitting in their chairs legitimately not caring.
"Hey scrap for brains"
They both perked up
"Act like you care otherwise they'll think you're out of place"
They both put on faces that basically said 'Your doing this for attention aren't you'
"I want it!" The pink one known as Diamond Tiara said demandingly
'What?'
"What?" The teacher known as Ms. Cheerlie said
"I want it nopony else has one, so I want it"
"Well we can't just-"
"It's our pet" Rumble said making the entire class turn to the two of them
"Uhh yeah it's our pet bird named Laserbeak"
"Yeah right" The silver one spoke, I learned her name was Silver Spoon "Even if it was, that's a dumb name"
I looked at the two of them who gave me a look of 'You want this little girl to kidnap you or do you want to blend in'. I sighed mentally and flew over to the two of them perching myself on one of their outstretched limbs. The class, with the exception of an obviously jealous Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, surrounded all three of us, even Ms. Cheerlie's interest was perked by my presence.
"Well you two will just have to bring him again in the near future, but today class has to end"
The class let out a collective 'Aww' and began to gather their things and depart, some crowding around us asking questions.
"Where did you find him? Why is he black? Why did you name him Laserbeak? Who's that with Rainbow Dash?" That last question turned all of their attention to the sky where a cyan color organic was with a familiar shape
"What is that idiot doing?"
"Let's go check it out!" Rumble said and he, Frenzy, and the class ran off to see the commotion. Sure enough Starscream was on a race track with the one known as Rainbow Dash and they were both stretching, preparing to face one another. I flew off to report this to Soundwave and alert him of Starscream's stupidity.

After a few moments of stretching I was ready to face this pathetic organic
"Ready to lose?" she said
"Ready to hire me," I retorted
A small orange organic came onto the track. "Ready, set," she stood on her hind legs and raised her foreleg "GO!" she brought her leg down and we both flew forward at high speeds. We slowly kept climbing the speed chart both of us easily reaching amazing speeds halfway around the first lap.
"Ha I'm not even trying!" she shouted
"Well maybe you should start!" I quipped back and powered myself forward easily over passing her. She however would not be so easily defeated and she powered her way next to me.
By this time we were getting close to mach one I felt the pressure of the sound barrier pressing on me, and to my displeasure I witnessed her doing the same. We reached our final lap and I wasn't about to grovel to this wretch, I began to come up with a plan to win this. At such speeds I knew none of these organics could see us clearly so I turned my back hooves back into their jet propulsers and powered forward crashing through the sound barrier and releasing a sonic boom like I had never done before. The blast struck her, the crowd that had gathered and continued onward across the area to parts unknown.

I felt a surge of energy pulse through me as I tried to run to stop the race. It wasn't a normal sonic boom, it was filled with energon. I finished making my way to the track rather over energized
I saw Starscream standing proud as he was surrounded by a bunch of children, while the cyan organic was trotting away, with her head down.
"Starscream!"
He turned to me "Ahh Soundwave are you here to help revel in my victory?"
"I'm here to smack some sense into you!"
"Why can't you let me have a victory for once"
"Because you always take it too far and wind up screwing something up."
"Oh please what's the worst that could happen"

I decided to take my recovered some of my Night guard who were released early and go investigate Soundwave's ship. We wanted to see if we can use the technology either defensively against him and his companions or utilize it for our own needs. I found my way to the ships control area when a wave of energy passed over us. When we all felt nothing more than a slight tingle we continued out search of the ship, until I located a device beeping on the ships control board. I approached it and pressed a glowing button only to hear some awful buzzing noise. I decided to leave it alone thinking it was broken...
I sighed as I almost had to drag Starscream through the woods away from the winner circle comprised of easily amused children.
"Why didn't you tell me you had a ship out here" Starscream whined
"Because knowing you you'd probably find some way to fix it, get shot down, and wreck it again,"
"I hope you rust slowly," he muttered.
"Anything to get me away from you."
We were one our way to investigate the ship because the sonic boom Starscream created was chock full of energon, we found that out mainly due to the fact that shortly afterword I was running at 200% capacity and my systems almost overcharged and failed me. However I was able to remove it rather easily by producing more than enough energon cubes.
As we approached the site of the crash our audio receptors picked up on some chatter coming from it. We both ducked down into some bushes and stealthy approached. The site was full of the guards wearing similar garbs that had attacked me not too long ago.
"What are they doing?" Starscream inquired
"Probably scavenging the ship"
"What makes you say that?"
I pointed to a pile of parts torn from the ships inside
"Oh..." he said feeling rather dumb for not noticing it "Well now what."
"I have a plan."
He nodded and began to transform, but I smacked him mid way and forced him to revert back "Not that."
"What would be easier than just wiping them from existence?"
"Simple"
He titled his head at me before I grabbed him by the throat and threw him out into the clearing, landing him right in front of two guards.
"Intruder!" one shouted causing Starscream to scramble to his feet and run off, a few guards giving chase. Giving me the opening to sneak onto the ship. Some guards were patrolling by, I snuck down behind the wreckage of a computer, and when they passed I jumped out behind them and smacked their heads together knocking them out cold.
I managed to make my way to the ships bridge and began to search for anything that could have been activated or accidentally repair by the energon blast. My optics almost instantly caught sight of something dreadful. The distress beacon was on...and something was trying to respond. I gulped as I approached the the consoles long range radio and pressed the button to initiate conversation, but nothing but static came through at first. I'm not sure what compelled me to try and continue making contact, be it old habits, or some hope it was a fellow Decepticon that wasn't as unbearable as Starcream.
At first it was nothing more than mere static, but I was able to eventually go from static, to a laggy voice, to a message I had dreaded to hear
"Hello, hello? This is Autobot exploration vessel Omega Supreme, do you read over?"
I tried my hardest to adjust my vocal emitters to hopefully change the sound of my trademark voice
"H-hello?"
"Ah ha! Good to see some cats out there are still functionin' where is your location and we'll come by and fix ya up"
That voice...I recognized it as my most heated rival...The Autobot Blaster.
"N-no...we're fine" Not my best excuse admittedly
"Hang on now...I got a lock on your coordinates we'll be arriving in a few astro-seconds to come get ya"
I began to panic "No need really..." My panic was making me lose my focus on my voice
"Hey...wait a moment..Ain't you-*click*" I shut the radio off and bolted out of there jumping over the unconscious bodies of the guards and running into the woods.

I made my way back to the ship after getting some progress reports from a camp set up not farm from it. As I approached the ship the first thing I noticed was the lack of my Night Guards, the second was the two unconscious guards in the ship. I cast my magic on them to awaken them.
"Ughh my heads" on groaned
"Report solider"
"Oh Princess Luna!" He bowed making me roll my eyes "My lady we were ambushed by an unknown assailant and- and"
I was walking past him into the ship as I heard voices coming from inside. They became more coherent as I approached until I was back in the room with the glowing button
"Hello hello do you read me over?" a voice rang out from the device.
Curiously I pressed my hoof on the button "Hello?"
"Who's this?"
"This is Princess Luna, Co-ruler of Equestria, who is this?"
"Oh a Princess? Boss will want ta talk to ya let me get him"
I waited for a few seconds before another voice rang out "Hello do you read?"
"Yes now who is this?"
"This is Rodimus Prime, leader of the Autobots and head of diplomatic exploration vessel Omega Supreme"
"Diplomatic vessel?"
"I will explain more if you would allow us passage to land"
I thought for a moment, if these beings had the same technology similar to the ship and they want to be diplomatic, then perhaps we could find some way to utilize them.
"Yes as a matter of fact you may...do you know where we are?"
"We have a lock on your location now...E.T.A 60 astro-seconds"
"Uhh..."
"About an hour"
"Ah"
Eventually my guards returned to their posts claiming that the one as Starscream had intruded on the site and ran off, I figured if he was here Soundwave wasn't far off.
"I wonder what their plan was?"
"No clue Princess"
I went on to inform the guards of the situation about to unfold, and telling them that if these Autobots try anything hostile they are to be treated as war criminals.
It felt like almost an eternity waiting for them, until off in the distance one of my pegasi spotted something off in the distance, a massive vessel heading right our way.
"Guards form a perimeter around the ship as it lands!"
They loyally saluted and began to prepare as such, a few pegasi flew up along side the ship to help guide it to it's destination. It began landing sending dust every which way and pushing back a few unprepared soldiers, as it finally landed. The ship was even more massive up close and sported a color scheme of bright reds and yellows, with a large symbol on the front of it similar to the one Soundwave bore, but less menacing looking, almost as if it implied a want for peace. The back hissed and a doorway opened, I made my way to the front of it and readied myself for whatever hostile intents these beings might have planned.
The first being to step was almost larger than Soundwave. His face had a look of wisdom and experience on it. He cleared his throat and held his arms out, me and my guards readied ourselves
"Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong!" he spoke making me and my Night Guards look at each other in confusion, yet feel a strange sense of being welcomed
"Ummm...We speak Equian here"
"Oh...Okay then"
"What was that anyways?"
"Apparently the universal greeting isn't that universal"
"I'll say"
We both shared a laugh and a few guards chuckled as well
"Allow me to introduce myself properly," he said "I am Rodimus Prime, leader of the Autobots and Head of the Universal Sentient Beings Peace Association."
"That's a mouthful."
"Yes we've trying to shorten the name to an acronym that makes sense, but with no luck"
"Well, I am Princess Luna Co-Ruler of Equestria and Princess of the Night"
He bowed respectfully "Pleasure to meet you Princess Luna. Please let me introduce my crew" a few more of them emerged from the inside of the ship "These are my crew mates, Blaster our communications expert, Arcee our scout, and for the unfortunate case where we meet someone hostile...Grimlock" Suddenly the biggest one of them all emerged from the ship, he was terrifyingly strong looking
"Me Grimlock think colorful ponies look weak!" He did however seem a little slow
"Now Grimlock be nice" The pink feminine one named Arcee said.
"Grimlock listen for now"
"This place has some pretty swweet vibes...ain't pickin up any radio waves though" Blaster said, he bore a disturbing resemblance to Soundwave
"Radio?" I asked
"The thing we used to talk...I guess your planet doesn't have them"
"Nothing of the sort." I replied
"I have to ask actually. Who's ship is that then?"
I looked to the wreckage of the ship not too far from their landing zone "That? That ship belongs to another one of your kind that landed here."
"Oh so you met them?" Rodimus said
"Yes. He's currently serving under a punishment my sister and I devised"
"Who are they?"
"Soundwave" I said non-chalantely, but the look on their faces shown that they were disturbed by this.
"What?"
"Soundwave is here!" Blaster blurted
"And another named Starscream"
They gasped "Where are they now!" Rodimus ordered at me
"Excuse me, but they are under my jurisdiction and will not be harmed"
"You don't understand, they are the most wanted war-criminals on Cybertron!" Arcee blurted
"Well I can understand Starscream...But I will not allow you to take Soundwave"
"Why do you defend him?!"
"He saved my life and the life of his friend and almost sacrificed himself"
They all looked at me in disbelief "Soundwave...The blue one with the monotone voice" Blaster said severely confused
"Yes"
"He saved you?"
"Yes"
"With his own life"
"Why is this hard for you to understand?"
"He's one the baddest cats ever to walk the surface of Cybertron. He's one of Megatron's Elite Generals"
"Who?"
"Megatron, or as he came to be known recently Glavatron, was a tyrant bent on ruling Cybertron with an iron fist and he was willing to slaughter anyone who dared oppose him."
"But the way Soundwave made it sound made him seem benevolent, albeit a bit power driven as you say, but otherwise he compared him to me and my sister"
"The Decepticons believe that strong rule the weak and Soundwave was apparently one of the weak Megatron pulled out of the gutter's to help him 'reshape Cybertron"
"Well I assure you, even if he is how you say he is, there's no damage he could do now"
"What makes you say that?"
"Follow me and I'll show you"
I began to lead the lot of them and my Royal guard to Ponyville to show them the current home of Soundwave.
I was working in my music room when I heard the door swing open and slam immediately. I went to go investigate when I saw a distraught Soundwave and Starscream bracing the door with their bodies.
"What are you-" Soundwave put his hoof over my mouth effectively silencing me
"Shh..." he put his hoof up and began to look like he was listening out for something. He made a motion to Starscream who went over to each of the windows and closed the blinds, afterword he ran upstairs and Soundwave followed him "You didn't see us!"
I went to say something when I heard a knock at the door which made Soundwave dash upstairs as fast as possible. I opened the door and I saw an ecstatic Lyra
"Oh hey Lyra" I said with a smile
"Vinyl you wont believe it! Princess landed in Ponyville!" she said jumping up and down.
"Where is she?"
"In the town square! C'mon!" she grabbed my hoof and dragged me through town.
We arrived at the center of town where we saw Princess Luna, but no giant metal humans, she was instead with more ponies with her. One of them was even bigger than Big Mac, and that's saying something.
"Attention citizens of Ponyville!" Princess Luna said above the crowd that had gathered. "We are looking for the one called Vinyl Scratch and those affiliated with her as of recently!"
"Uh oh" I said maybe a little to loud, getting a few ponies attention
"Look there she is!" somepony cried
I panicked and began to back away, slowly at first, then I turned on my hoof into a sprint. I turned back to see one of those ponies with Luna chasing me, a pink earth pony, who was surprisingly fast.
"Wait, we just wish to speak to you!" she cried out
I kept running, making a dash for home, I was just about to reach the door when Princess Luna landed right in front of it, making me skid to a stop.
"I uh-er-uh Hey Princess nice to see you!" I said trying forcing happiness into my voice "What brings you around here."
"Vinyl we wish to speak to your 'guests'"
"Oh them?" I said playing ignorant "I haven't seen them all day"
"Do not lie to me us Vinyl, a terrible truth has been uncovered about them and I wish to sort things out properly with them and our new visitors." she motioned towards a group of ponies with her, they all had the same symbol for their cutie marks.
"Who are they?"
A red pony with an orange mane stepped forward, he stood almost as tall as Luna and his mark was the only one different from the others, it had this weird blue and orange spherething with handles on the side. "We are the Autobots, we seek the Decepticons known as Starscream and Soundwave, they're very presence is a danger to this whole planet" he said sternly
I turned to Luna with a worried look and she said "I brought them here to prove the innocence of Soundwave, at least."
I tried to come up with a plan, but the biggest of them pushed me his way up to me and said "Me Grimlock getting bored of this. Tiny pony bring Grimlock to Decepticons now before Grimlock smash!"
"Grimlock stand down!" the red one said and then he turned to me "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Rodimus Prime, leader of the Autobots." he stuck his hoof out, which I refused
"Look buddy" I said annoyed "You can't just come to my home and demand things from me like this."
He nodded to my surprise "I understand your privacy is a right, but this is very dangerous business that I don't want to drag out."
I was about to say something, but quite possibly the worst thing that could have happened, happened. Out of the corner of my eye I saw two colts walking towards the house talking obnoxiously loud. The Autobots all tuned around to look at them and each one of their eyes went wide with recognition.
Time seemed to slow down for a moment as they all made eye contact with Rumble and Frenzy, the pink mare shouted "Decepticon!" in slow motion, to me anyways, and began to transform, along with the rest of them.
Suddenly the sound of wood shattering and glass breaking was heard above me as a fully transformed Soundwave and Starscream came into view with their weapons drawn.

We burst through the wall, jumped over the Autobots, and opened fire on them, which were deflected by the heavy armored of the Dinobot, Grimlock. Me and Starscream landed just on the other side of them, I threw up a barrier as they began to return the volley at us.
I got on my short range radio "Laserbeak, Rumble, Ravage, Frenzy rendezvous with me and Starscream, the Autobots are here!" I didn't already notice Rumble and Frenzy were just down the street. Grimlock began to charge at us, but was intercepted by a pile driver punch from Frenzy. Rumble took cover behind the barrier and began to help return fire.
Vinyl Scratch and Luna where under a protective barrier from one of the Autobots, one I instantly recognized, Blaster. I turned to Starscream and Rumble and made a quick hand giving, which they both nodded at in understanding.
"Decepticons! Transform and rise up!" Starscream shouted as he turned into his jet mode and took to the skies, diverting the Autobots attention long enough for me to turn into my vehicle mode, ram right through their ranks, and tackle Blaster through the house.

I was flying to Soundwave's location, Ravage following just below me when we saw the behemoth of an Autobot, Grimlock going head to head with Frenzy and Rumble. He was trying to swat them away like flies
"Grimlock smash tiny Decepticons!" his anger was building, I could tell, and that never boded well for us. He began to Transform into his only alternate mode, a fire breathing Tyrannosaurus Rex, and began to unleash his rage onto the battle field.

I turned about in the air and began to nose dive at the other two Autobots. I opened fire on them and turned up at the last minute to avoid being shot at.
"Foolish Autobots, Decepticons always rule the skies!" I mocked as I turned about again and unleashed another hail of bullets on them.
The Autobot hot rod began barking orders "Arcee assist the princess, I'll handle this!" The Autobot Arcee picked up the two organics and ran off with them.
"Not today Autotrash!" I shouted as I began to focus my attention on her. I fired two heat seeking missiles at them, only to have one palmed away by Hotrod and the other taken in his grip and exploded, which he seemed to survive with little damage.
"I'm going to end this before it gets too far" he shouted as he placed his hand on his communicator "Code word, Omega!" I stopped in my tracks, realizing the horror of what was to come.
"Decepticons retreat!" I shouted, I began to run off when the body of Soundwave was thrown right in front of me, he had his axe drawn and he was leaking energon.
"Soundwave gather your Minicons we are retreating!"
He got up on his knee "Fool we can defeat these rag tags."
"Normally I'd agree with you, but we have something much bigger to worry about!"
"What?!" he shouted impatiently.
"Omega Supreme: Active, Objective: Eliminate Decepticons" echoed throughout the area.
"Decepticons retreat!" Soundwave shouted, his minicons, didn't waste a nanosecond as they filed into Soundwave's torso, as we began to fly off, not capable of defeating what horror was about to come our way.
A/N I know it's a bit short and I apologize for that, Next week's chapter will be better I promise
A/N. A new chapter after this one will probably be late seeing as how this week Darksiders 2 comes out and the week after the new Transformers: Fall of Cybertron game comes out, so I'll be rather...uhh...busy. Sorry this was late. Also working on another fic as well so gonna be busy with that also.

I began barreling through the woods in an attempt to escape Omega Supreme. Starscream was flying overhead panicking about the oncoming storm.
"What are we going to do now!?"
"Quiet your vocal emitters Starscream! There's a ruin approximately 3 miles away, rendezvous there asap."
"What are you going to do?" Starscream replied. In response I transformed and readied my assault rifle "I'm going to finish what Megatron should have done years ago"
Starscream took this as his chance to run off towards the ruins, leaving me at the mercy of one of the Autobot's strongest weapons.

"We demand you stop this madness!" Luna shouted at Rodimus after we gazed at the behemoth of a beast that began it's pursuit after Soundwave and Starscream.
"If you knew what they did you wouldn't be so eager to defend them!" Rodimous defended, "They are war criminals and they will be taken into custody!"
They kept on arguing like this for what seemed like an eternity, all except the Autobot equivalent of Soundwave, he was beat up from Soundwave's assault on him, and he seemed deep in thought.
"Hey" I whispered to him
He looked over at the two bickering leaders and leaned down to my level "'Cha' want?" he asked
"What's your deal with my friends."
"Nobody's friends with the 'Cons, trust me on that"
"I am." I said flatly
This made him laugh boisterously "Ain't no way Soundwave made friends with anyone before."
"What makes you say that?"
"Cuz he's a 'Con the only thing he cares about is power and destruction, he ain't the kind of bot to make friends."
I sat silently for a moment trying to think. I looked back at the two arguing leaders and back to Blaster and sighed hopelessly.
I approached the Luna and Rodimus "Excuse me?" I said, but it didn't reach their ears over their arguing "Hey!" I said a little louder, but again they didn't hear me. "WOULD YOU TWO SHUT UP AND LISTEN FOR A MOMENT!" I shouted, imitating the spell that causes the 'Royal Canterlot Voice'. Their arguing stopped and they both turned to me. "Now that I have your attention I would like to say something..."

"Target's: Locked, Engaging." Omega was trailing close behind me and Soundwave. I was flying above while he was driving below me through the thick forest, I'm glad that I don't have to outrun Omega, just him.
"Soundwave how did you defeat this thing last time!" I shouted over the radio
"Megatron used dark energon to corrupt his core and incapacitate him." he replied flatly
"Great...and we're fresh out of Dark Energon"
"Starscream, discern his location."
"You do know that I'd have to physically turn around to see him..." I replied
"Do it!"
I transformed and turned about, using my leg thrusters to keep me afloat, and readied my null ray. I managed to witness Omega's 'disguise' for this planet. It was a creature that I had the unfortunate encounter with during an unfortunate incident involving time travel.
"Omega is a dragon!" I shouted as I tried to fire on him. His thick armor plating easily deflecting the shot, he opened his mouth and fired a beam of plasma energy at me which I barely had time to dodge. I transformed back and blazed forward as fast as my thrusters would let me go. Omega fired another blast, swinging his head allowing his fiery breath to scorch everything between me and Soundwave.
"How do we beat this guy!" I shouted after barrel rolling out of they way of another blast
Soundwave was unresponsive for a moment making me think he finally met his end at Omega's rage.
"Starscream, split up, rendezvous in approximately 1 cycle."
"What! Where!"
"At my location...use your tracker for once and maybe you won't lose me," and with that he veered of in a completely different direction from me, leaving me at the mercy of Omega.

I drove off away from Starscream and Omega to a location I had Laserbeak scout out weeks ago. A set of old ruins in the middle of the woods would make the perfect ambush point...

"Target: Locked, Firing Primary weapon" Omega announced as he charged up another blast of plasma, once he fired I veered sharply barely avoiding it.
"Starscream" Soundwave's voice came in through my radio
"What now!"
"Rendezvous with me ASAP" he said flatly
"You better have a plan!" I shouted only to be met with silence.
I picked him up on my tracker, only to see that he was far behind me. I decided it was time to show this Omega Supreme who the real master of the skies was. I transformed and opened my air brakes allowing Omega fly right under me, where I closed my brakes quickly and grabbed onto his back.
"Face the wrath of Starscream!" I shouted as I drew my blade and drove it into his back allowing me to get a better grip onto him. I used my free arm to fire upon him and tired my best to steer him towards Soundwave's location.
"Hostile: Detected, Engaging Countermeasures." Omega began to try and shake me off. He began to do aerial stunts to try and throw me off, but I would not be so easily defeated. I kept an iron grip on my blade, sadly my blade didn't keep it's grip and began to slide free of his back. I feel a few meters before transforming and flying the rest of the way towards Soundwave's location.

Starscream came into optic view, with the beast I named Omega Dragon following close behind. I readied myself for the events that I calculated to the latter....
First Starscream would bust through the wall and crash, forcing me to dodge him. Then due to Omega's sheer size and speed he would also come crashing in, I used my thrusters to boost myself up and flip over the behemoth as he tumbled through the ruins leveling most of them
A/N Warning, there's some spoilers from Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, if you haven't finished the campaign yet, don't read

My audio receptors began to activate again some time later
"His systems are stable, and he shall be reactivating soon" an all too familiar voice said.
"You sure he's alright?" another familiar voice said, Vinyl's I suspected, "He got hit pretty hard"
"Omega: Apologizes again" I could figure out who said that one...
"It's alright Omega, I think he's coming to"
My optics began to reactivate as my base systems began to their normal status. I scanned the room and saw that I was inside Omega Supreme, atop an operating table. I saw surrounding me was the Autobots, Starscream, Vinyl and Luna. I tired to locate the source of the first voice but couldn't see it at first
"My audio receptors must still be malfunctioning...I thought I heard-"
"Your systems are working at optimal capacity Soundwave, unless you doubt my work"
I looked around once more and was nearly shocked to see the source of the voice
"Shockwave?"
"Who else could bring you back from the brink of death?"
"Explain?"
"When Omega hit you, his tail smashed many vital systems in your torso, the Autobot's were unaware of how your specific systems are operated, so they called me."
"But why you?"
I could sense Shockwave's discomfort he went to say something before Rodimus interrupted "Shockwave was captured after Galvatron's defeat, as punishment he is to become a medical attendant for Autobot needs, to make up for the years of his experimentation on POW's."
"That must be torture." I said
"You have no idea." he replied flatly
"Grimlock says Shockwave should be killed after what he did to Grimlock and Grimlock's team!" Grimlock said, his voice filled with rage from year's past
"You took my arm," Shockwave said as he lifted his arm that was replaced after his encounter with Grimlock"...I think we're even."
Grimlcok got faceplate to faceplate with Shockwave before they were split up by Arcee "Quit it you two!"
Vinyl approached me during the commotion "Hey big guy, how you feeling?
"Like I was tail whipped by eighty tons of metal."
She laughed lightly "I'd imagine that doesn't happen often."
"Not to me anyways."
"How often do you guys get crushed by something bigger than you."
"More often then we'd like."
I began to rise off the table and tried to stand, Shockwave and Grimlock we're split up, Starscream was quietly standing in the corner, and Luna and Rodimus began to approach me and Vinyl.
"We have finally come to an understanding." Luna said, getting right to the point
"We have decided you may be allowed to stay here." Rodimus continued
"They're is a catch isn't there?"
"Always..." Blaster said.
"Blaster will remain here and watch over you and Starscream."
"Why only one of you," Vinyl said "Why not two to watch over both of them?"
"Because let's face it Soundwave is already watching Starscream"
"Hey!" Starscream blurted annoyed, everyone in the room rolled their optics
"If I may," Shockwave spoke up "I would wish to keep my services here."
"Is that so Shockwave" Rodimus replied "Tell me why I should trust you do stay here away from Cybertron and you're community service."
"Because oh mighty Rodimus" if his voice wasn't so emotionless you could hear the sarcasm "What if they get injured, it's clear from the bio scans of this planet that there is plenty of ways they can get injured, and none of them have the proper knowledge of Cybertronian systems to repair themselves, and I doubt you'd want your chief communications expert to perish on this planet"
I could see the look on Rodimus' face, not even he can deny Shockwave's logic, which with the exception of very few times, was infallible. Luna looked wearily at Shockwave, clearly not trusting of him.
"Very well Shockwave" Rodimus finally said after a few moments of processing, I could tell Shockwave was pleased "However," Rodimus continued, making Shockwave uncomfortable, "You must have someone watch you as well, and who else to do this other than Grimlock."
Now, the one thing about Shockwave is that he purposefully rids himself of emotion to make way for logic, however, he is not immune to having them forced into his system, and I could tell you the amount of fear and agitation that was coming from him hasn't been seen since the day his arm was ripped off and eaten in front of him by Grimlock, millions of years ago.
Shockwave swallowed his fear and finally spoke "If those are the conditions...so be it." he said flatly.
Luna turned to Rodimus and whispered to him, I was able to pick up on it "Are you sure we can trust him, he doesn't seem very stable."
"I don't trust him at all, but unfortunately I cannot deny his logic in the matter. Don't worry thought, Grimlock will keep him in line."
Luna looked down awkwardly "That's who I meant actually..."

Rodimus and the rest of the Autobots departed with the exception of Grimlock and Blaster.
"So..." Vinyl spoke up after a moment of awkward silence "How are we going to explain this to the ponies in Ponyville..."
"Do not worry about it Vinyl...I have it under control. As for you two" She turned to the two Autobots and Shockwave "You're going to need disguises to fit in, the one's you donned earlier should cut it, and I imagine you're good at coming up with excuses."
"Don't stress out," Blaster said in his mellow tone "We got all this under control."
I rolled my optics and spotted Vinyl who was looking dreamily at Blaster, I nudged her with my foot and she looked at me and shrugged with a partially annoyed look.
Blaster and Grimlock donned their disguises, Blaster's form was had a bright red coat and silver mane and tail, his mark was similar to mine, the only difference being it was red and had his Autobot symbol on it. Grimlock had a steel colored coat with a yellow mane, his mark was his signature sword and shield with his Autobot symbol on it.
Luna turned to Shockwave "And what of you?" she asked as he stayed in his robotic form
"I'd rather not degrade myself to such a form."
"If you want to stay here you will" Luna snapped back. Shockwave, not wanting to get in anymore trouble than he already is, begrudgingly obliged. He scanned Vinyl and began to take the form of the equine life forms. His coat was purple, his mane was black and he adorned two feathered wings. However his front left appendage looked like it was a steel replacement, and one of his eyes was non existent leaving only a patch of skin over it and his other eye was a bright solid yellow. His mark was a beaker filled with a green liquid with the Decepticon symbol on the bottle's front.
"They is umm...uhh..."
"Disturbing?" Vinyl spoke up
"Yes...not the word I would've use but yes...it's not normal for ponies to look like that" Luna said uncomfortably
"I'm not a 'pony' therefore I wouldn't resemble them completely. I would look more appropriate if someone hadn't devoured my arm." he said flatly, clearly placing his blame at Grimlock
"Grimlock regret nothing! Grimlock pay you back for making him into Dinobot!"
"It's one of the few experiments I regret ever performing. I should have killed you when I had the chance instead of sending the Insecticons at you."
"Grimlock crush you like he crush bugs!" he said as he got face to face with Shockwave, even in this form he towered over all of us.
"Now Grimlock, buddy, ya gotta stay calm man otherwise you'll get on Rodimus' bad side, ya dig?"
Grimlock huffed angrily before backing off. Vinyl looked to the princess "Umm Princess Luna?"
"Yes Vinyl?"
"The home I have can't possibly fit everyone here, not that I would mind accommodating Blaster."
I rolled my optics as Luna replied to her saying "Well Vinyl, I'm sure the one known as Applejack would gladly take Grimlock under her supervision, so long as he works the fields."
"Work what fields?" Grimlock said
"An apple orchard, you'll be bucking apples off the trees"
"Grimlock get job hitting things? Grimlock like this idea already."
Luna smiled "And from what I can tell Shockwave would get along well with Twilight Sparkle, seeing as how the both have an affinity for science."
"It's good to hear there are others who share my passion." Shockwave said almost eagrly
"Blaster...what is it you like to do?"
"Well...I love to get down and funky!" Blaster said excited, making Luna laugh lightly
"If that's the case, find the mare known as Pinkie Pie, she's quite literally a party animal."
"Sounds cool." he said in his mellow tone
"Starscream...From what I hear you've already got a job with Rainbow Dash."
Starscream smiled smugly "You're intel is correct. I defeated her in a race and I now am working under her employ as a 'Weather Marshall"
Luna nodded and turned to me "Where are your Minicons?"
"You don't know?" I said
"We thought they were with you."
"Scrap..."

Rumble, Frenzy, and Myself were traveling through the woods aimlessly, trying to either find Soundwave, or be as far away as possible from the Autobots and their attack dog Omega.
"Good job Laserbeak, now we're lost and runnin' low on energon, while Ravage gets ta stay home and relax"
"If those damn Autobots didn't show up we wouldn't be here in the first place!"I replied annoyed at the whole situation.
"Hey girls I think I heard something over here!" we all heard a voice shout from the distance. We all took on our disguises for this planet as we approached the voices and saw three young equines, they were adorning capes and consisted of the three different breeds of this planet.
"Scootaloo, are you sure we should be this far into the Everfree Forest?" a small white one said.
"You saw that dragon, if we capture it maybe we'll get our cuite marks in dragon fighting!" The one called Scootaloo said
"Is there even a cuite mark for that?" a yellow one said.
"I don't think anyone has even survived against a dragon long enough to find out" The white one said
"That's what will make them so much more awesome!" Scootaloo said excitedly
"Do they honestly think they could take on Omega Supreme, let alone the beast he's based himself off of?"
"Maybe they- hey did you hear that?" Frenzy said as he heard a rustling noise coming from the bushes on the far side of those three young equines.
I activated infrared, but detected nothing. The three equines, however, seemed to be cowering together
"W-what was that?"
"I dunno...m-maybe we should leave here"
"Nonsense crusaders, if we're going to fight a dragon we need to be able to fight a-" she was interrupted as a lupine beast apparently made of wood emerged from the bushes, and then another, and another, until a whole pack of them was surrounding the three of them. By this time they were huddled together in fear.
"What the hell are those things, what do you two think- Rumble, Frenzy?"
I looked down to see they were no longer below me, they were in the clearing standing between the pack of wolves and the three fillies. Rumble turned to the three of them "If you girls wanna survive ya gotta be able to keep a secret, can you do that?"
They seemed to be willing to agree to anything in that situation, they nodded rapidly.
"Oh Primus they're not going to-"
"First we crack the shell!" Rumble shouted as he began to transform to his robotic form.
"Then we crack the nuts inside!" Frenzy finished as they both readied their pile drives and began to dive head first into the pack of wolves. The fillies we're awestruck by the spectacle. A wolf managed to avoid Rumble and Frenzy and made a dash for the three fillies, but he was pierced by a laser from my beak as I joined the fray.
"Get ready to crumble before Rumble!" he shouted as he began to pile drive the ground, sending out shock waves that shattered near by wolves into piles of lumber, making what little remained of the pack running with their tails between their legs.
We gathered around the three little girls, our true forms revealed to them.
"Wooow" Scootaloo said. "What are you guys?"
"That's somethin' we should explain when we're not in the dark woods..." Rumble said weakly, him and Frenzy's energy drained. They transformed and began to lead the three of them out of the woods back into town...towards the Autobots.

"Ravage: Deploy, Operation: Minicon Location" I ordered to Ravage, who loyally followed the order and dashed off into the wilderness to find my Minicons, and apparently the sibling of the one the Princess referred to as Applejack.
"I sure do hope lil' Applebloom is alright..." she said
"Do not fear...When Ravage has been assigned an objective, he will succeed at it" I replied flatly, but it did not seem to calm her nerves.
Hours passed, Applejack and her companions came to her side to comfort her. Applejack stood up, "It's been too long I'm goin-" she stopped herself when she saw Ravage emerge from the tree line, atop his back was Laserbeak and behind him were my Minicons and the fillies they sought. After, what was for them, a touching reunion, we gathered around and began to explain to those involved the plan of the Princess, who had to leave back to Canterlot.
"So...these folks are gonna be stayin' with us for a while?"
"Pretty much yeah" Vinyl said
"Oh my gosh new ponies means I have to throw them a party!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly, getting Blaster's attention
"A party, just for bein' new in town?" Blaster inquired
"Yup! I throw parties for just about anything."
"Girl, I think we'll get along juuuust fine." Blaster said as he wondered off with Pinkie.
"So um Shockwave is it?" Twilight said
"Yes?"
"I suppose you're staying with me?"
"Yes, and may I ask where is you're home?"
"The library"
I think this is one of the few times I could tell Shockwave was happy "Then let us be off, I have knowledge I must procure." I saw Twilight's face light up as she had someone to share her lust for knowledge with.
"So uh...you're gonna be with me then?" Applejack asked Grimlock
"Grimlock stay with orange pony and hit...hit...what Grimlock be hitting?"
"Trees, ya gotta buck them ta get the apples down"
"Grimlock best at hitting things hard!" he shouted as he trotted off with Applejack.
Starscream and Rainbow Dash, all the while were glaring at one another, eyes narrowed.
"So...your shift begins tomorrow...at dawn" Rainbow Dash said flatly to Starscream as she flew off.
I turned to Vinyl who looked worn from today's events "You ready to go to bed Soundwave? Remember tomorrow we got a gig"
"Affirmative." I said as we made our way back to her home and rested for the evening to prepare for tomorrow's gig in Canterlot.
Me and Soundwave began making our way to the club where my gig was taking place. Instead of using Soundwave as my equipment I thought it'd be a good idea for him to help play technician, seeing as how in his free time he managed to fix up my old gear to 'maximum efficiency', which to me basically means his level of bass blasting awesomeness that he created the night we beat COL-7. As we were riding the train, to keep a low profile, I felt something was up with Soundwave.
I turned to him "You okay man?"
I seemed to snap him out of his far off daze, "Affir- Negative..."
"What's up? Is it those Autobot guys?"
"Affirmative"
"What's your beef with them?"
"Blaster..."
"What about him?"
"He and I used to be close friends, that is until Megatron promised the people a new glory and strength. I took that opportunity, he didn't, and we've been rivals ever since."
I frowned "That's pretty heavy"
He nodded
"Well you guys aren't fightning anymore, maybe you can be friends again"
"He and I would never forgive nor forget our crimes against each others allies"
"What makes you say that?"
He looked at me stoically "Call it a hunch..."
We rode the rest of the way in silence. It was already night time by the time we arrived and the crowds were filing into the club, which was playing generic music to keep them occupied long enough for the main event to show. Soundwave and I split up once we entered, I went to the back rooms to make sure I looked ready, call me crazy, but I had to achieve a certain look of ragged and delinquent before going on stage, Soundwave went to make sure all the equipment was prepared and set up properly. After a few minutes I emerged from the back to see Soundwave behind the board, with an almost sad look on his face.
"Hey Soundwave?"
He turned to me
"Why don't you go ahead get yourself straight, I can handle tonight"
He looked ready to protest, but he closed his mouth and nodded, leaving the club and making his way back to Ponyville. I on the other hand had a gig to preform. I took the stage and the mic "Good evening Canterlot, DJ PON-3 in da house!" I shouted causing the crowd to bust out in cheers as I set the needle to the first track...

Hours passed by quickly as the gig went on, my mind somewhat focused on Soundwave the entire night. The night started coming to a close and I began wrapping up all my gear that I needed at home, and getting my pay for the night. Once I was done and heading out the door somepony behind me called out "Hey!". I turned about and was puzzeld at who I saw, a surprisingly well kept mare to be hanging around the club scene. She had a long pink, purple, and light yellow mane and tail that swirled at their ends, a pink coat, and magenta eyes, her voice was soft and upper class sounding. Her cutie mark was a crystal heart with golden ribbon....thingys, I don't know what they're called, but they were around the little heart.
"Umm hey. Can I help you?" I asked confused at why somepony like her would be hanging around here
"Actually yes you can. I love your music and I was wondering if you DJ outside clubs?"
"Yeah I guess, not many ponies hire me outside club scenes. I'm sorry who are you?"
She looked embarrassed "Oh sorry, my name is Cadence, and I was wondering if you'd DJ at my wedding?"

As I was making my way back home I forgot Vinyl had the train tickets so getting a return trip wasn't an option, and I wasn't in the mood to talk to her again. So I opted to go with the old fashion way, transforming into a car and going at a ridiculous speed. I easily avoided any detection under the cover of night. Blaster's stay had me uneasy, it wasn't ideal to have your most hated enemy for the last few eons be right down the street from you, nor was it comforting to know that with him he had a couple of tons of metal, fire, and rage at his disposal that he could sic on you at any time.
I arrived at the town and transformed back into my local disguise. The town had fallen into silence, a dramatic change from the active night scene at Canterlot. It was also these kinds of nights that haven't graced Cybertron in millions of years. As I was walking I noticed something moving about the shadows. My curiosity got the better of me and I trailed it. I followed it through alleyways, open streets, and finally the park. I stealthy approached the shadowy figure only to have it turn it's head and glare at me with one bright yellow eye.
"Oh...Greetings Soundwave" he said
"Greetings Shockwave."
"I take it you to are not able to achieve rest."
"We were never ones for rest anyways Shockwave."
He chuckled "Very true, Megatron always worked us to the frame."
"Cycles at a time we'd toil and plot against the Autobots, designing new weapons, training new troops, running commands across hemispheres."
"Not a dull moment went by under his command and Starscream's undying need to usurp him."
"Please don't use the term 'undying' to describe him...it's horrifically true"
He chuckled once again "I have the recording of him being turned to ash if you wish to see it"
I processed it for a moment "Another time...when he can see it to"
He and I shared a laugh, which between he two of us sounding like an earth animal hacking up something, but we didn't care. A moment of silence fell between the two of us until I decided to break it, with a thought I never thought would ever exit my vocal emitters.
"Do you regret it?"
He looked at me like I was insane "Come again?"
"Do you regret doing anything we did?"
"I regret we didn't kill Starscream in his sleep." he said jokingly
"I'm serious!"
He looked at me almost appalled as I continued "When Megatron took his place as leader of the Decepticons he promised every bot would be equal, the strong who were forced into the pits of Cybertron wouldn't be oppressed by the weak Autobots. He said the strong rule, and yet through all the fighting and death, it was the Autobots who won! I look at this planet and I see part of Megatron's ideals. The strong rule and no one is above someone else with the exception of their leader, which makes me keep asking myself...was Megatron wrong? Did we decimate our planet for a cause that was wrong, or did we follow the wrong bot to lead the cause?"
Shockwave was quiet for what seemed like hours until he looked at me with a stoic look "I felt the same way when I was captured by the Autobots, even know I cannot help but process these ideas, but to answer your question. I do not regret a choice I made, a choice that I knew in my spark was the right one when I accepted it. Was it the wrong choice? Some would say so, but I don't regret making it for a second."
He stood up and began to walk off "Now the question is this, do you regret you're decision?" After that he disappeared into the night, leaving me in the park with my thoughts.

It was the next morning. Myself, Rumble, Frenzy, and Ravage awoke and began to go about our usual buisness. Ravage frequented the one called Fluttershy for reasons beyond what I could process whilst I kept a close eye on Rumble and Frenzy while they attended school.
Today was the day after they had so flippantly exposed themselves in front of the 'Cuite Mark Crusaders' as they referred to themselves on the way back from the woods. Unlike the situation with Earth I was hoping we could keep a low profile, have no one even know we exist, and just function on this planet with little problems, but that was hoping for too much.
We arrived together as a group, I was perched on Rumbles back, pretending to pick at my feathers like a normal bird would from time to time. There was a crowd around the front of the school, all of them listening to some voices coming from the center of it. I was hoping the three of us could sneak by unchecked...
"Hey it's them!"
...but that was hoping for too much. They crowded around us excitedly all of them bombarding the three of us with questions, all of them indistinguishable from the sheer quantity of them.
Rumble had enough of it "All of ya shut your traps!" he shouted at an astounding level of volume, effectively silencing all of them.
Two of them, I think they're called Snips and Snails, were the ones to speak
"The crusaders said you saved their lives from a pack of timber wolves!" Snail said in a long slow tone of speaking.
"Yeah they say you bucked them int next week!" the rather pudgy Snip said.
"By Primus if you two speak a word of it I'll make sure that by the night cycle you'll be wishing that you could be going head to head with Metroplex instead of facing my wrath, got it?
I was hoping it would scare them...but that's asking for too much, a running theme since we've been on this rock.
"Yeah we beat the snot outta them!" Frenzy said, gaining their praise and my frustration. They went on about their 'heroic feats' for the entire day whenever they got the chance. Thankfully they're smart enough to keep their true identities a secret.
Finally school reached it's end and all of the children gathered in the play yard to await their parents to pick them up. The one's who hadn't left on their own were crowded around Rumble and Frenzy listening to their story for the umpteenth time.
"You two are so full of it!" a snarky voice shouted. The crowd turned to see Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon
"Like yeah, there's no way you two losers took on a whole pack of timber wolves by yourselves, that's like totally impossible."
"How would you know ya brat?!" Rumble replied "You wasn't there!"
"By Primus they're fighting now..." speaking to no one in particular I rose my wing to my face though as if someone was.
"Oh yeah then prove it!" the pink filly said
"Fine!" they both said
"Oh no..." Just as they were about to ruin everything we heard a familiar voice say "Enough you two."
We all turned to see Shockwave trotting towards us, he looked at me and said "You need to keep these two in better check Laserbeak."
"I try"
"Try harder" he replied quickly
The teacher seemed to notice Shockwave's presence and came out of her office "Excuse me, but who are you?"
He nodded his head "Greetings mam I am Shockwave, Soundwave's sibling, he is far to busy at the workshop to come by and pick up our young brother's himself, so I am here to do it myself"
"You're Soundwave's brother?" she asked skeptically
"Correct."
She eyed him up and down for a brief moment before turning to Rumble and Frenzy "Do you boys know this stallion?"
They nodded "Yeah he's our older brother," they said going on with the lie
Cheerlie smiled "Alright then you kids have a good day, and it was nice to meet you Mister Shockwave."
"A pleasure, come then children, we have to go meet your brother."
Before we left Rumble and Frenzy gave one last dirty look to Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon who returned the childish act.

After a long day of working at the workshop I finally managed to make my way home to meet up with Vinyl Scratch who apparently had news for all of us, and unfortunately that included the Autobots. Upon all of our synchronized arrivals we entered to find Vinyl scratch bouncing up and down excitedly.
"Why white pony bouncing?" Grimlock asked simply
She stopped, turned to us and with a great smile said "I get to DJ at the royal wedding!"
I stood there, confused, and not alone in that feeling, with only two exceptions, Blaster and Grimlock.
"Alright a weddin' well you have fun with that." Blaster said
"Grimlock think weddings boring!"
"Aww c'mon Grimlock the reception was pretty tight."
"Because you were DJ!"
"What are you two talking about?" Vinyl interrupted
"Friend of ours got married back on earth," He looked at us "Unfortunately these clowns made us cut it short when they tried to siphon energy from a wind farm"
"Wait...what?"
"A time that is behind us." Shockwave explained calmly
"Maybe for you fools, but I intend to rule over all the universe!" Starscream shouted obnoxiously, we all rolled our optics
"Starscream even I can guess what will happen if you try that." Vinyl said making the Autobots and Minicons laugh lightly, Shockwave and I kept out stoic expressions.
Starscream began fuming "I'll destroy you all!" he shouted as he produced his sword from his foreleg and tried to dash at Vinyl, but I stuck my foreleg out and tripped him. His face hit the floor first, causing most of us to laugh again.
"Shut up! I-I'll kill you all!" he shouted before darting out the door and flying off
Vinyl was still laughing but all of us went silent with worried looks.
"Whats wrong?" she asked
"He's going to skulk around-" I started
"-Then he'll monologue to himself for about an hour about how he hates us-" Shockwave continued
"-Then whiny con bot will make new friends-" Grimlock continued
"-Only to be destroyed by the Autobots or Megatron, then he'll come crawling back like nothing happened" Blaster finished.
Vinyl looked at us befuddled "H-how...do you guys-"
"This happens about every month or so" I interrupted.
"You're kidding?" she asked skeptically
We all looked at her with straight faces before Shockwave continued "So what's this about a wedding?"
Vinyl began beaming "Oh yeah it's between the captain of the royal guard Shining Armor and Princess Cadence."
"Brother to Twilight Sparkle?" Shockwave asked
"How do you know that?" Vinyl asked
"She's told me much about her own life, partially against my wishes, and informed me of the existence of her brother, although she doesn't seem aware of this situation. Which logic dictates that she'll get an invitation which will be extended to her close friends, meaning that they'll have to bring us along."
Grimlock let out a disgruntled groan "Grimlock no want go to wedding! Grimlock want stay on farm and hit trees!"
"C'mon Grimlock it could be fun. We ain't been to a pony wedding before." Blaster said enthusiastically.
"Grimlock still no like it..." He said pouting
Blaster laughed "C'mon Grimlock we got stuff ta do." Blaster said as he and Grimlock left Vinyl's house
"I must continue my research of this world, farewell." Shockwave said as he took his leave leaving me, my Minicons and Vinyl alone.
"So umm...about Starscream" she asked
"Laserbeak." I said before she could go on. Laserbeak flew to my side and stood at attention. "Alert the guard captain, Shining Armor of an impending threat upon Canterlot." With that Laserbeak flew off into the night to bring the message.
"How will he know who Shining Armor is?"
"The one with armor different than others, along with a talent mark reflecting his ability to defend others, and facial features somewhat similar to that of Twilight Sparkle."
She looked at me with a blank stare "I think I'm done trying to figure out your guys' amazing ability to know everything about everything."
I laughed once before making my way to my room to rest for the night.

I flew off in the woods to let out some anger...mainly by leveling part of it in my robotic form.
"Damn them!" I shouted as I swung at another tree with my sword "I will be ruler of the universe...I just need help. Then again...the last few times I acquired help it didn't really work out..." I began thinking back to all my schemes that involved others from releasing the Combaticons from their prison to receiving aid from Medevil humans. Then again on both those occasions they were either capable of overpowering me or rather useless. I needed an ally who wouldn't be able to do either of those things, perhaps I needed a more loyal companion, one who would be able to keep up with my brilliant plans, but who....
"You look like a guy who wants revenge, I think I can help you"
I turned to the sound of the voice with my null rays pointed at it "Where are you! Face the mighty Starscream!"
The voice laughed at me "My my, you think quite highly of yourself Starscream, for one who's life is a constant failure."
"I never fail!"
The voice laughed even harder than before "Never! I saw your attempt to work for Discord, and that worked fabulously, not to mention the fact that you are so easily predicted in your plans. After all you're out here looking for an ally to help you in your hastily put together scheme are you not?"
"How do you know all this?"
"I have eyes and ears everywhere Starscream."
I fired a shot at where I thought the voice was coming from, only to be greeted by more laughter "You should work on your aim."
"Shut up!" I fired a barrage of bolts in all directions, until my arms were caught by some unseen force, then covered in a green substance that hardened instantly, blocking my null rays. The same substance engulfed my feet and knees causing me to fall over. Footsteps came from the bushes and I looked up seeing a twisted insect like version of the normal equine population, it had holes throughout it's legs, a jagged horn, and tattered wings.
"I know you respect power Starscream, and I'm about to be in possession of the greatest power source my kind can acquire on this planet. I'd like you to join me."
"What's in it for me then?" I asked the creature
"You and I shall rule this land, from there the universe will follow." She smiled a smile that inspired confidence in me, it is a smile I bear when my clever plans are devised
"Very well then..." I trailed off not knowing her name
"Chrysalis, Queen Chrysalis, and you will do well to address me properly."
I smiled my trademark smile "Of course...my queen..."
A/N Re-edited because I noticed a continuity error in the chapter, where Rarity is making the tuxes and I didn't imply she and Fluttershy didn't know about the wedding. Also some stuff about Soundwave is mention all last part of the first section.

Humiliation, degradation, frustration, and an immense need to kill the marshmallow of a equine fitting me for a tuxedo. I felt all of these as I was forced by Shockwave's supervisor, Twilight Sparkle, to stand for hours on end while her friend, Rarity, fitted me for a tux. It wasn't the fact that I had to do it, I've had more then enough practice standing still in plain sight, no the problem was is she wouldn't silence her vocal emitters.
"Is it too tight?"
"It's fine."
"You're sure? Do you like the color, because I do."
"It's fine."
"Do you want it to be longer to cover your, dare I say, rather intimidating cutie mark?"
"It's fine."
She kept asking more and more questions about the vest as she fitted me. She already finished up Shockwave, Rumble, Frenzy, and Blaster. I was the last one she got to deal with before Grimlock, but at this point I was conflicted to either feel bad for her or him.
Finally a ray of hope scampered into the room in the form of a white filly
"Rarity!" she shouted as she came rushing into the room
"Not now Sweetie Bell I'm working."
"I was just going to ask if me and my friends could go play now."
She sighed "Yes you can go play with your little crusader friends."
"What about Rumble and Frenzy?" she asked, making me tilt my head in confusion.
"That's not up to me dear, it's up to Soundwave." she said as she motioned to me.
Sweetie Bell got in front of me and looked up at me "Mr. Soundwave, can Rumble and Frenzy come play with us?"
I shrugged "I don't care at this point..." I said annoyed. Sweetie Bell smiled wide as she ran down the stairs shouting 'They said yes guys!' followed by a set of cheers and hooves running outside. Once again leaving me alone with the non-stop ramblings of the fashion designer.
"So tell me darling, why do you and your friends need these outfits?" she asked
"Does it matter?" I replied annoyed at her ramblings
"Well I'm just wondering, most ponies in Ponyville prefer to stay in the nude, and I'm not really aware of anything big amonst the Canterlot Elite."
"It's for a wedding, now will you hurry up, I need to return to my work."
She let out a scoff as she continued her work in silence, praise Primus. After the last leg of the greuling ordeal I payed my fee and went back to the workshop where I continued my work on a special project I had begun since I landed on this planet

"Please sing for me Laserbeak, I've always wanted to hear a phoenix sing ever since I met Philomena" The pale yellow pegasus asked pleadingly. I simply shook my head, not wanted to take part in any sort of acts
"Pleeeeeease....." she pleaded again
"Yeah Laserbeak, let's hear you sing" A lazy voice said across the room.
"Ravage I will end you..."
He laughed, only in a way I could hear, but nonetheless he laughed.
"Now now Ravage, it's rude to laugh at others" Fluttershy said in a motherly tone.
"How did you even hear him?"
She went from somewhat stern to terrified again "Oh it's my...um...special talent..."
I cocked an eyebrow "You're special talent is understanding animals?"
She nodded "If umm that's okay."
I glared at Ravage "One moment I need to talk with my 'friend" I flew over to Ravage,grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and dragged him outside. He whined the entire time about my talons but I ignored him.
"Ow you peice of-"
"Why didn't you tell me she could understand us scrap for brains!"I shouted interrupting him.
"I didn't think she could! I just thought she was just a really good guesser!"
"What do you mean by that?" My eyes widened in realization "She knows doesn't she..."
His eyes drifted away from mine "Well...I may have let the fact we're from a different planet...slip"
My eye twitched with anger"Slip? Slip! You don't let information like that just slip! Damn it your part of the best espionage squadron the Decepticons had to offer and you let information like that 'slip!" I was fuming by this point until we heard a soft 'excuse me' come form behind us. We turned to see Fluttershy standing there looking guilty
"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to find out that you two and your friends aren't from...around here." she said twirling her hoof on the ground and hiding behind her mane
"You tell anyone who we are and you're in for some serious trouble, got it? I said sternly, making her retreat back a little.
"Ya know Laserbeak," Ravage began, getting my attention "I think she'd be more inclined to keep out secret if you...cooperated with her
"What in Cybertron does that mean?" I asked skeptically
"Well it's like you said, we're the best at espionage, blending in, imagine if ponies find out that Fluttershy, whom by the way from what she's told me is quite well known, couldn't get her bird to sing. Her ability to tame the most wild of beasts is near legendary, so imagine when ponies find out there's one she can't tame. Some may blame her sure, but others will look to the beast, and think 'what sort of bird doesn't sing', or 'who can resist Fluttershy?' Ponies will start getting suspicious?" he finished his monologue with a fiendish grin.
I looked between him and Fluttershy for a moment and hung my head with defeat "Tell the others and I swear by Primus you'll wish you were never created."
He smiled again "C'mon Tweety, let's hear that song!"

"Blaster!" I called out inside of the bakery where he took up his residence.
"What 'cha want Shockwave?!"
"Get down here now!"
After a moment he came down muttering under his breath "'Cha want man? Me and Pinkie are brainstormin' some sick new party ideas"
"You're planning for you're meaning less recreational ceremony activity can wait, I need to contact Cybertron."
"What? Why?"
"Because I spent the last few weeks actually doing research about this planet, and predicting Starscream's next move."
"Alright...but why do ya need to call command?"
"I never said command..." I corrected him.
Before he could say anything I hit him with an EMP to knock him out, even while unconscious he could still provide the technology required to make the call I needed. I dragged him out of the shop and into the back where nothing could spot us. I accessed his control panel and begin to set in the commands for him to activate his long range transmitter. However I knew that if anything were to happen to him an emergency signal would activate, so I acted quick and called command first, hacking his audio projectors.
"Blaster, come in do you read?"
"Loud and clear baby." I said in Blaster's voice.
"We picked up your distress signal is everything alright"
"Yeah man everything's cool, but we're gonna need some help down here, Starscream's on the loose and Shockwave informed me he may be gettin' some help."
"Rodger that Blaster, what is you're request."
"Uhh...send down Jazz and Tracks man."
I could almost hear the Autobot rolling his optics "Of course Blaster, cuz you and those two are such a responsible group when your together."
I forced a laugh "You know me."
"Alright then they'll be down in a few cycles, why don't ya send up the info on your disguise so they can land stealthy."
"You got it man." I forwarded the information to him
"Your processor on the fritz Blaster? These look like-"
"I know man, just roll with it..."
"Whatever, Command out."
I sighed in relief and continued hacking Blaster's long range coms. After a few moments I finally got it set to my personal secure network.
"Come in, do you read me?" I said calmly through what was mostly static
"Shockwave?" shrill voice answered back "What is this..this...this"
"Quiet...I'm sending you three coordinates and data for you're disguises, I want you here with in the next few cycles" I said sternly
"Of course Shockwave, be there soon...soon...soon!" the voice on the other end crackled with glee
"Shockwave out." I closed the channel and began dragging Blaster back into the shop. I began work on wiping his memory core and replacing it with my own data to make him think he had actually called for reinforcements, little would he know, I called for my own as well...
I had begun work on my track for the wedding and it was to be quite possibly one of the best records I've ever mixed. All I had to do was guard the record with my life, made more difficult by the fact that. The Minicons and their friends found their way into my workshop, claiming they were looking for their special talents, and began to unintentionally wreck the place.
"Don't touch that!"
"What's this button do?" an orange pegasus said as she began hitting buttons on my round tables while her two friends where messing with my headphones. I snatched them away from it with my magic when I heard a crash behind me and saw that a Rumble and Frenzy had knocked over a rack of my favorite records.
"My records!"
"Don't worry we'll fix it." the five of them gathered side by side and shouted at the top of their lungs "CUITIE MARK CRUSADER RECORD FIXERS!"
"NO!" I shouted back as I picked them all up with my magic and forced them out of my house "You three, I'm telling your parents what you did" I said glaring at the three little fillies, my gaze shifted to the Minicons "And you two are gonna spend the whole night fixing everything in my workshop, got it!" they all looked down.
"Sorry Miss Scratch..." the Crusaders said in unison.
"Shove it in your exhaust." Rumble said making Frenzy laugh and making me lose my last nerve. I was about to chew them out when I was interrupted by Soundwave.
"You two!" he said with an agitated tone making their faces go pale.
"Oh scrap." Rumble said as he started backing away, he turned towards Frenzy "Run fo-" he stopped himself short when he saw that Frenzy was already halfway down the road, leaving him at the mercy of Soundwave. Before Soundwave could bring his wrath down I interrupted him. "Alright calm down...I'm gonna take these three home while you take care of your own."
He nodded as he grabbed Rumble by his ear as he dragged him down the road after Frenzy.

After dragging each filly home and telling their guardians, in this case, what they've done I went back to my workshop only to find the place cleaned up, and all my records miraculously fixed and even alphabetized. As I stood there with my mouth agape Soundwave walked behind me.
"I took the liberty of restoring your workshop and organizing it according to your alphabet."
"I dunno what to say...how is probably the best thing to ask."
"Energon Repair Ray." he replied as if it was nothing
"That's your answer to everything."
He was about to reply when his ears perked up and he turned his head in a random direction upward "A ship has just entered the planets atmosphere." he rushed over to the nearest window and looked off into the sky "In approximately 600 astroseconds it will land half a kilometer away."
"Dude are your people just living calculators?"
"No...yes" he said almost shamefully making me laugh a little
"Wait...won't ponies see it?" I asked
He seemed to focus even more towards the sky until finally saying "Negative, Autobot cloaking device activation detected."
"Seriously, how can you know all this stuff."
"I would explain it, but the concepts alone would shatter your reality on known physics."
"And that's....bad?"
He didn't respond as he began rushing outside to go to the predicted landing zone, I followed just behind him, and to my surprise Blaster had come into view and was heading the same way. Soundwave began to slow down to a trot as we got about halfway there.
"Whats...up?" I asked of breath after trying to keep up with him.
"Blaster called for reinforcements, this is...unlikely."
"What do you mean?"
"Blaster has Grimlock with him to aid him if any troubles were to arise, knowing that Starscream is out and about isn't enough for him to call for reinforcements if Grimlock is readily at his disposal."
"So what are you saying?"
"There's more than meets the eye to this." he said as I saw a smile try to sneak it's way onto his face
"What?"
"Nothing...I've just always wanted to say that."
"Why?"
"It's an inside joke."
I rolled my eyes and we began to pick up the pace again.
After a few more minutes of running we arrived at the supposed landing zone where we saw Blaster speaking to two other ponies. Soundwave took a moment to focus on them when I saw his face contort into a frown, he sighed and face hoofed
"What is it now?"
"It's not reinforcements..."
"It's not?"
"No."
"Then what is it?"
"It's his friends..."
At that moment Blaster turned and spotted us and waved us over. Soundwave sighed begrudgingly as he and I trotted over to the three of them.
"Hey Soundwave wassup"
"Why did you call them?"
"Cuz I...uh...don't quite remember why, all I know is I did, so must be important."
One of them, a blue pegasus with a silver mane, and a cutie mark that was a silver wing sticking out of a tire with the Autobot symbol on it, spoke up "I say Blaster, you'd lose your own processor if it wasn't fixed to your body." he said in an accent reminiscent of the Canterlot elite. He looked over at me "Aren't you going to introduce us to your new friend?" he said looking to me.
"Ah right Tracks, Jazz this cool cat is Vinyl Scratch, she's a rockin' DJ"
"A pleasure Miss Scratch," Tracks said
"How's it hangin'?" Jazz said. He was an earth pony that was silver and had a blue mane, his cutie mark was more complicated, the center part of the autobot symbol was made up some musical notes and some parts were replaced by saxophones
"Pretty good, hey whats with your cutie mark?" I asked
"My what now?"
"The symbol on your rump Jazz. If you did anything other than just look at the form you are to mimic you'd know it was meant to signify your special talent." Tracks said.
He looked at his cutie mark and smirked "I'm just smooth." he said calmly, elongating the word smooth a little
"Oh cool..." I trailed off as I realized something "Where are you guys gonna stay?"
"That my dear..." Tracks began as he went into thought "Is a good question."
We made our way back to town and after a short and hastily put together lie we managed to convince the other Elements of Harmony girls to look after Tracks and Jazz. Rarity volunteered to watch after tracks after she was impressed by his mannerisms and his apparent knowledge of being well mannered. Jazz on the other hoof was a bit more complicated. He and Rainbow Dash hit it off pretty well, but he couldn't exactly live with her, until Twilight offered to place the cloud walking spell on him.
Afterword me and Soundwave returned home to relax for the night, but I sensed something bothered him.
"Hey man wassup now?"
I snapped him out of whatever thoughts he was in "Nothing...it's just...I can't help but feel something is coming our way."
"Well you've been kinda spot on about everything else, so I just hope whatever is commin' isn't too bad."
He shrugged deciding to drop the topic "I need to go find the rest of my Minicons, Rumble and Frenzy are currently detained so they won't be too much trouble."
"Thanks again for helping fix my stuff."
Without another word Soundwave left to go retrieve his Minicons, while I went to sleep for the night.

Weeks went by and literally the day of the wedding was the day Twilight found out about it. From there her and her friends rushed to get everything in order, and in turn had to rush us to get ready, even though I had already had all my gear moved just a few days prior so all I had to do was bring some snacks for the trip. I was somewhat thankful I didn't have attend the actual wedding ceremony and only work the reception, even though because of association, the guys had to. It gave me some time to myself to think.
We all made our way to the train station to board. The elements took the cart ahead of us while the rest of us took the one behind them. I was just about to enter the cart when I saw three purple ponies who looked really similar to one another also boarding, but on the very last cart. Something about them seemed off, but when I tired to get a better look the whistle for the final boardings blew and I had to get on really fast.
On the way the guys spent most of their time telling about the events that unfolded while they were with the other Elements.
"Really the whole tree?" Blaster asked Grimlock
"Grimlock smash whole tree Grimlock's first try!" Gimlock said proudly
"Isn't the goal just to shake it and knock down a few apples?"
"Grimlock was told to buck tree and that what Grimlock did! Not Grimlock fault he strongest there is!"
All the autobots shared in a light laugh, Shockwave and Soundwave sat near the back of the car away from the others. They weren't talking and looks that that implied they clearly didn't want to be here. I turned back towards the conversation.
"So Pinkie showed me how she does what she does." Blaster said proudly
"What you mean..." I asked trailing off
"Yeah, see what she does is she takes her cannon and then she..." After 'she' he began to explain it in some language I didn't understand, the others seemed to know what he was saying and simply nodded
"What did you say?"
"I just said..." repeating his choice of words when a look of realization came onto his face "Oh right...there's no actual way to explain that without using old Cybertronian."
"Is that how you guys get super small when you transform?"
"Same principle" he explained with a smile.
After a few minutes, Canterlot came into view and it was surrounded by this large pinkish barrier. As the train approached it I could have sworn I saw out of the window those three ponies from before jump out the back of the train.
"Hey did anypony else see that?"
"See what?" Blaster said
"Nothing...I guess." The train reached the station and we all filed out of the train. From this point we had to split away from the Elements of Harmony, good thing to because Twilight seemed really pissed about something.
We began our walk through Canterlot traveling through the crowds of ponies all of them looking cleaner than usul, probably trying to impress the Princess.
"My what a wonderful city, nothing compared to Iacon in its prime mind you, but still quite wonderful" Tracks said
"Yeah that is until someone, not pointing any fingers here, decided to bomb it and kill Zeta Prime," Jazz said with obvious disdain in his voice. I looked back at Soundwave and Shockwave expecting an answer but the two of them stayed quiet. After a few moments of awkward silence I spotted the two ponies I hadn't seen nor did I want to see in a while Octavia and DJ COL-7, both of them sitting at a table in front of a coffee shop. I tried to stay hidden from their sight, but I could tell they saw me a mile away.
I sighed and turned to the group "Alright guys, conveniently my apartment never got a new owner so the Princess is letting us use that for the duration of the wedding. You guys head there, I gotta handle something really quick. Soundwave you know where it is." Soundwave remained quiet as he directed the group towards my old pad, I swallowed hard as I approached the two of them, both of them glaring daggers at me. Octavia, being the more polite one, motioned towards the open chair at their table "Sit." she said, wanting to get right to business.
"So..." She began "We heard that you'll be playing at the reception of the royal wedding, correct?"
I nodded, trying to avoid eye contact
"It seems your doing well in the world then doesn't it." she continued
"Cut the crap Octavia." COL-7 said turning his attention to me"Vinyl what the hell, you disappear for weeks then you just show up with a bunch of dudes one day and your playing at the reception of the royal wedding?!"
"Look I've just been really busy and-"
"Busy! Yeah busy ruining 'my' career and getting drunk I bet and let me guess the one with the yellow shades is your new boyfriend right? By Celestia you've done some crazy stuff but putting me out of a job? That's low."
"Hey man you stole my style who's the real victim hear
"Well clearly it isn't you because-"
"Enough!" Octavia shouted over us "Come on you two, at least act like you two are mature adults." She looked to me "Vinyl I wanted to say that we're proud that you have managed to get this far in life, but ruining and degrading others was certainly uncalled for."
"Look I did what I had to to get by."
"You sold my favorite instrument for booze money, is that what you call necessary!?" Octavia said, rasing her voice for the second time. "Your own pride was what kept you from being successful, instead of working with him, you decided to try and ruin him. I mean for Celestia's sake, he's your brother and I'm your supposedly your best friend and the fact you did what you did to us hurts more than you think."
I did my best to look away from them, every part of me wanted to get out of there, but I had to face the music eventually. Yes I did sell her cello for booze money, back when we were room mates. She and I had grown up together in Ponyville and we were always the best of friends, then the day I became the legal drinking age I discovered that I liked alcohol more than normal ponies and I kept drinking...and drinking...and drinking, throwing my life away.
And COL-7 or rather my twin brother, Playback, wanted both of us to be DJ's, but I wanted to go solo and he wanted us to play together. I was always selfish and proud and I wanted the spotlight all to myself at the time. We both learned how to DJ the same way and I thought I was just more creative and clever than him, the reality was we were exactly the same, music, looks, everything. I was just trying to place blame on him because club owners wanted him more than me, mostly because he was sober most of the time.
"What do you have to say for yourself Vinyl?" Octavia asked.
"I'm sorry..." I said after a moment of silence "I'm sorry I hurt you two...there's no excuse for doing what I did...and I'm sorry." I could tell the looks on their faces was that of shock. I started to cry a lightly, and to my own surprise they both got up and hugged me. We sat there for a while in silence, ignoring the judging eyes of some of the patrons...

My optic whirred from zooming in and out "So...a sibling and a companion...this could be good leverage later on..." I activated my short range personal radio "What are your locations?"
"We're outside the barrier, like you asked." replied one of my minions
"Good, did you get the disguise data I sent you?"
"Of course, Hardshell has already infiltrated their ranks."
"Good...see to it that everything goes according to plan, I do not want any mistakes, understood?"
"Of course, Sharpshot out..."
I emerged from the alleyway I snuck into and rejoined the others, sliding right back into the spot where a hologram of me was projected. Tomorrow was going to be a big day, after all, I had a wedding to attend to...

After I finished raising the moon I made my way to the watch tower where I encountered my dear sister, who was weary from a full day of watch. I descended and landed next to her.
"Rest my sister, as always I will guard the night." Celestia exited the tower without any sort of resistance, eager for some rest for tomorrow.
Ever since we received a anonymous warning that something would befall Canterlot security was increased almost triple what it normally is. I had also received word that Starscream was possibly behind the threat from one of my spies I keep in Ponyville that I keep to watch over the...visitors, and I hoped that he would be the only problem.
Moments later something moving quickly caught my eye, a ripple of wind almost. I turned and shouted "Who goes there?!" To my relief I saw only Twilight Sparkle running in the distance, "Stay indoors Twilight Sparkle." I warned as I returned back to the telescope on the tower. All was silent for but a moment after, until I heard a voice whisper directly behind me.
"You should worry about yourself more." a shrill voice said ominously. I turned to face the intruder only to have my vision darkened, and the feel of cold metal encompass and silence me.

The alarm in our room was buzzing loudly, until I heard the distinct noise of Grimlock's grumbling and the sound of metal being crushed. I lifted my head and looked about my room for a brief moment before I started to get myself prepared for the day. I wanted to run by the castle early so I can triple check all of my equipment for my performance tonight. I made my way into the kitchen and began to make myself breakfast when I noticed the actual time.
"Guys!" I shouted to all of them, getting a collective groan "You were supposed to be up and out of here hours ago!"
At that moment Tracks shot up eyes filled with panic. "My word, did we really sleep in that long, oh this won't do not at all, no sir. Autobots get up! We simply must be ready, I do not wish to be late, especially when I promised Rarity that we would be there early so that she-" a pillow to his face effectively cut his rambling off as Grimlock slowly began to stand up and tower over all the other Autobots.
"Grimlock no care about weddings. Grimlock tired and want sleep."
"But don't you see if we're not dressed and looking our best we'll make a..." he gasped over-dramatically "Bad impression!"
Jazz rolled onto his stomach, stood up, walked over to Tracks and grabbed him by the shoulders "Ro-Bro...calm down"
"But what about getting ready, there's a chance if we hurry we can still make it but-"
Tracks was cut off by the sound of metal plates shifting and clanking as Jazz transformed, but not into a robot, instead the plates making up his torso flipped around and made a tuxedo and his mane and tail retracted and came back out styled and ready.
Jazz released his grip of Tracks, who crossed his forelegs "That just ruins the principle of things."
They shared a brief laugh as the rest of them followed Jazz's lead and just transformed to look ready for the wedding. By this time I was eating my cereal and I noticed something was amiss again. "Hey where's Shockwave, Soundwave, and the Minicons?"
"Well knowing those two, they've trained themselves to wake up at any moment, cuz from what I heard Decepticons who didn't wake up on time where punished pretty hard." Blaster said, "So it's my guess that they already made there way to the wedding. As for the Minicons, Rumble and Frenzy spent the night with those girls they always hang with, and Ravage and Laserbeak stayed with that other mare, the shy one"
"So why didn't they wake us up?"
Blaster shrugged "Who knows, but like Tracks said if we hurry we can make it on time."
I nodded "I"ll catch up with you guys," I said waving them off with my hoof. They nodded as they all hurried out of my apartment. I was able to take my time, because unlike them I could show up at a later time. I grabbed my sunglasses, style my mane, and hurried out of the door. As I was getting ready I began thinking about the possibility for today and I smiled. "It's gonna be a good day."

I stood in the crowd next to Rumble and Frenzy as the wedding ceremony began. The three fillies who Rumble and Frenzy spent their time with began to hop into the room, their mouths holing flower baskets which they let swing to allow the petals inside to fall out. I rolled my eyes at how disturbingly similar the ceremony on this planet was to that of the humans. I scanned the crowd, generally ignoring the bride-to-be's entrance, spotting Shockwave standing in the first row. Apparently the pony who was supposed to watch over him was missing, but she and Cadence apparently had a disagreement the night before and was uninvited. I spotted him, but I also spotted an off looking purple stallion in the crowd. I tried to recognize him when I noticed what was going on at the altar.
"Princess Cadence and Shining Armor, t is my great pleasure to announce you-" I heard Celestia say before she was cut off by a distant voice shouting 'STOOOOP!'
Everyone in the room turned to see Twilight Sparkle standing in the door way, sending mummers throughout the crowd
Cadence grunted and stomped her hoof "Why does she have to be so protective of her brother?" she said angrily. Celestia and Shining Armor looked at her and noticed something was terribly wrong, she began t o cry the most forced cry I've ever heard "Why does she have to ruin my special day?"
"Because it's not your special day! It's mine!" another Cadence, who looked beat up, said.
"What?!" The first Cadence, who I could tell was an obvious fake said. "But how did you escape my bride's maids?"
Twilight and Cadence exchanged knowing glances and explained in vivid detail how they did it.
"Hmph, clever, but you're still too late!" the fake Cadence said
"I-I don't understand," Applejack started "How can there be two of 'em?"
"She's a changeling!" The real Cadence began "She takes the form of somepony you love and gains power by feeding off your love for them!" At that moment I rolled my eyes and I could tell Shockwave did as well.
The fake Cadence's eyes began to glow green as a ring of green energy surrounded her and formed a pillar. He skin began to shed itself revealing a black twisted insectoid form. She let out an evil laugh when she was done "Right you are princess!" she began, her voice sounded like two over lapping each other. "And as queen of the changelings, it is up to me to find food for my subjects. Equestria has more love than any place I've ever encountered. My fellow changelings will be able to devour so much of it, that we will gain more power than we have ever dreamed off."
"They'll never get the chance, Shining Armor's protection spell will keep them from ever even reaching us!" Cadence shouted at her, making her laugh
"Oh I doubt that." She turned to Shining Armor, her horn glowing green "Isn't that right dear?"
"Mmmhmmm" he hummed as he nodded his head
Cadence looked furious as she charged forward, attempting to help her husband, but was blocked by the queen
"Uh uh uh." she began charging her jagged horn again "Don't want to go back to the cage again now do you?" the queen said, causing Cadence to back down. "Ever since I took your place I've been feeding of Shining Armor's love for you. Every moment he grows weaker, and so does his spell. Even now my minions are chipping away at it." the queen said as she looked upward and laughed again. "He may not be my husband, but he is under my total control now!" the queen boasted eliciting gasps from Twilight and Cadence. the queen continued "And I'm sorry to say, he will be unable to preform his duties as captain of the royal guard!"
"Not my Shining Armor!" Cadence cried out.
"Soon my changeling army will break through. First we take Canterlot, and then all of Equestria!" she said flying up as a flourish
'Telling her plan in detail...that's a Starscream move right there' I heard Laserbeak say from cross the room, forcing Rumble and Frenzy to try and hold in their stifle laughs.
"No." Princess Celestia said with authority "You won't. You may have made it impossible for Shining Armor to preform his spell, but now that you have so foolishly revealed your true self..." Celestia said as she and the queen locked horns "I will protect my subjects from you!" she shouted as she took to the air. Her horn brimmed with power as she fired a golden bolt of energy at the queen, who fired her own green bolt at the princess. At first the princess's energy seemed to be overwhelming the queen, until the queen began pushing back and her energy powered through Celestia' and struck her horn, sending her to the ground.
"Princess Celestia!" Twilight Shouted as she ran to her teacher's side
The queen looked baffled and began gloating about her victory, until she was interrupted by the laughter of Shockwave.
"What is so funny, I just defeated you're precious princess!" The queen shouted at him angrily
"Oh no..." he said ominously "You just defeated my last variable."
"What are you talking about!" the queen shouted, at that moment the barrier above shattered and several changelings broke into the room and surrounded their queen. "No matter, my invasion has begun and there is nothing you can do to stop me!"
"Oh, but I already have...tell me something. You work on a hive mind correct." He pointed to two changelings floating by the queen "Can you hear the thoughts of those two?"
She turned her head around to see that the two changelings he pointed to weren't changelings at all, but instead were Hardshell and Sharpshot
"Decepticons! Transform and rise up!" Shockwave shouted as he began to transform, along with the two changelings and the one pony I spotted in the crowd.
"A neat trick!" the queen shouted "But ultimately pointless, attack them my changelings!" the queen shouted, but her minions did not respond to her orders "I said attack!" she shouted again, but again no changeling followed her order. Instead they turned they're attention to her and began to slowly move towards her. "What is this? Why can't I hear the voices of my children?!" she shouted
"They're no longer you're minions organic," Shockwave began as he held up his hand "They're mine," he snapped his fingers and all at the same time each changeling enveloped themselves in green energy which disappeared and each changeling had a Deceptiocon logo on their torso's. Shockwave snapped his fingers again and the changelings began to fire this green matter from their horns at the queen and Celestia ensnaring them.
"How did you turn my children against me!" the queen shouted as she struggled to break free of the ooze covering her entire body, but her head.
"I simply had one of my own minions infiltrate your hive, and detect the frequency at which you control your hive mind with. From there it was a simple matter of accessing that frequency, disrupting it, and replacing it with my own. It is how I gained control of the Insecticons the first time. However, I cannot have you trying to gain command once more so I'll do what I did to the queen of the Insectiocon hive." He leaned over and got face to face with her " And dispose of you" He took her in his grasp and released a large amount of energy, electrocuting her and causing her to cry out in pain. Once her body went limp her simply tossed her aside and turned his attention to Celestia, who was still surrounded Twilight and her friends.
"As for you, I'd never let good possible experiments go to waste." he said looking at Celestia "Where as you, Twilight, you and your friends will be executed, I wouldn't want you to prepare the weapon you call 'The elements of harmony."
"May we eat the organics Shockwave wave wave!" Kickback squealed excitedly!
"No, I need you to find the designated targets bring them to me, if you encounter the Autobots destroy them."
The Insecticons chattered eagerly as each one transformed and leaped out the windows to find their prey. Shockwave turned his attention back to the six mares who were cowering in fear of the massive being before them. "A pity you had to be organic Twilight, it's rare to find someone as like minded as me." he held up his gun arm and began to charge it. Shockwave was just about to fire until a metal fist interrupted his aim and he fired a bolt off in a random direction.
"Soundwave! I should've known you would have betrayed me." he shouted at me as he regained his balance
"Rumble, Frenzy, Laserbeak, Ravage. Locate the Autobots."
My Minicons all transformed and began their assigned order. A few changelings still in the room made a dive bomb for the girls, but they were easily deflected by Rumble's pile drivers. Frenzy drew his guns and began firing at the others.
"If ya wanna live follow us!" Frenzy shouted, causing all then ponies still in the room to rush out the door.
Once the room was clear Shockwave and I stood our ground and stared at one another in silence. We each began calculating every possible move and attack, we both knew that for one of us, this would be our last battle.

A/N: Sorry to bring bad news guys, but after this chapter will be the last one for a while. Next week is 'biketober fest' *rolls eyes* and I work at a popular biker spot and I'm am gonna be busy all that week so no chapter then
"By primus where did these things come from!" Tracks shouted as we were running through the streets of Canterlot, avoiding the black insects that were attacking.
"Grimlock no like bugs!"
"We have to find the girls, they have these things that can fix all of this!" I said stooping myself just short of a changeling which dived down right in front of me. I lifted some rubble nearby and tossed it at the bug.
"Well then why we doin' this the slow way?" Blaster shouted, jumping over a pile of rubble
"Cuz that's overkill!" I shouted back.
Grimlock laughed heartily "No such thing!"
We continued running towards the castle, when suddenly as a green flash encompassed each changeling and they added Deceptiocns logo's to their torso's
"Oh great now they're Decepticreeps!" Jazz proclaimed as he rolled out of the way of a suicide dive, following it up with a swift buck
"50 credits says Shockwave is behind it." Blaster said with a laugh
"I'll take that action." Jazz said with a laugh.
We kept running and trying to avoid the attacking bugs. Up ahead a few of them saw us coming and used their magic to bring down a building, using the rubble to try and slow us down, but they didn't expect Grimlock to plow right through it full force. He continued this trend with even more buildings, making a straight path right to the castle. Once we arrived we saw that the castle guard was being overwhelmed trying to hold off the invasion .
"Guys we gotta help them!" I turned to the Autobots to find that they already had ran into the fray. They began bucking and punching every changeling attacking an innocent pony and then some. I ran past all the chaos at into the castle. Where I was luck enough to run into the girls with the Minicons leading them out.
"Can somepony explain to me what is going on here!" Rainbow Dash asked angrily
"No time, we gotta get to those element thingies!" I replied
"We know, but there's no way we can get their in time." Twilight said
"Don't worry we'll get ya's there in a nanosecond." Rumble said confidently.
"We'll help tha' guards while yous gals get to ya elements!" Frenzy continued
They looked at each other for a moment and nodded as they ran towards the Autobots who were holding off the first wave.
"Where you girls runnin to?" Jazz asked
"The chamber where the Elements of Harmony are kept."
"Then let's not waste another moment in these forms." Tracks said as he transformed into his vehicle mode, Jazz doing the same thing.
The girls looked in awe at the vehicles, but I spoke up snapping them out of it. "You girls hurry up if you wanna make it on time." They nodded again and filed into the cars.
"What about Grimlock and Blaster?" Twilight asked.
"Grimlock smash bugs!" he shouted as he tossed a changeling through the air and into one of the castle walls. He transformed into his robot mode and ran off into the city to go find more changelings to beat up.
"He'll catch up, I'll stay here with the Minicons and help Soundwave." Blaster said
"I'll stay to, if he's fighting Shockwave and all of these things he'll need help" I said. Blaster simply nodded as the girls filed into the awaiting transports. Fluttershy, Twilight and Rarity joined tracks. While Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie jumped inside Jazz, and as soon as they were loaded up Tracks flew off and Jazz followed behind him from the ground.
Me and my group shared a quick glance before nodding and running off to find Soundwave

Me and Shockwave still stood our ground, waiting for the other to strike first.
"Soundwave..." Shockwave said after a long moment of silence between us "You can still join me, and together we'll restart the Decepticon cause. This planet shall be reformed into a haven for our kind, while the organics slave away for our cause."
I kept my blank stare, trying to figure out his next move.
"You both won't get the chance to do anything before I'm done with you!" A shrill voice said from nowhere.
"Ah Starscream, I was wondering when you'd come into play." Shockwave said looking about the room. "Let me guess, you just atop the roof, waiting for me and Soundwave to fight, and then while one of us is weak you'll try and pick us off."
"A sound plan," Starscream's disembodied voice said, "But I had a good amount of time to think and quite frankly...killing you both at the same time is much easier."
"And how to propose to take us both on?" Shockwave asked.
A beeping noise began to emanate from in between us. We looked down to see a bomb rigged up to a cloak device and a speaker phone "Like this..." he said as several more bombs decloaked in the room. all of them around us.
"Admittedly this was well thought out." I said.
He and I nodded before running towards the broken windows and jumping out of the building, the explosives going off right behind us as we jumped out of the tower. At the moment Shockwave made his own move and swung at me, hitting me right in the torso. From there we exchanged blows mid fall until I positioned myself above him and we hit the ground, my full weight slamming into him. I began laying into him, focusing mostly his faceplate. I thought I was going to win easily, but a sharp pain in my chest forced me to stop. I looked down to see an energon sword had periced my chest, right through my Decepticon logo. The fact I was still functioning only meant it missed my spark chamber by only fractions of millimeters. A sudden blow to my head forced me off Shockwave and onto the ground.
I turned my head to see Starscream helping Shockwave up. "What's that old saying?" Shockwave began. " The enemy of my enemy is my friend?"
I feigned my dying words to speak, "You allied yourself with Starscream...when?"
"The moment he and I could meet in private on this rock. It was all planned out, I'd have my Insecticons smuggle aboard an Autobot ship, but I needed a reason for another one to come by. From there it was all a simple matter of having Starscream throw a tantrum and have my minions smuggled to this planet under the guise he would be an issue. One thing I didn't account for was that another invading force found Starscream. Which thanks to the combined efforts of him and Hardshell."
"The Autobots will call for help. They'll bring their armies and make sure the last Decepticon uprising is wiped from the galaxy." I replied back weakly, the injury began to take it's actual toll as energon was still flowing freely from my wound.
"Ah, but that's the best part," Several changelings swarmed around Shockwave. He snapped his fingers and they all clustered together, and in a green glow turned themselves into a look alike of me. "These organics can take the form of any creature they want, mimic their every action. All I have to do is give them the information to make their performance that much more convincing, and I figure ripping your memory core from your head will allow me to mimic not only you, but every Autobot you've ever spied on." Shockwave explained calmly.
A familiar shape flew overhead, apparently unseen by either of them as Starscream began monolouging, "Soon this world will be ours. We will call out to all the Decepticons hiding among the stars, and then once our army is ready, once this world lies in ashes. We will retake Cybertron and destroy the Autobots once and for all." Starscream said and started a maniacal laugh, I gradually began laughing alongside him
"What's so funny!" Starscream cried, moving right up to me and placing his blade at my face. "Not even you would laugh at your own funeral!"
I laughed for another moment before meeting his gaze with a deathly glare of my own "I'm laughing at yours."
He looked at me in confusion before a laser bolt hit him right in the back. I lifted my legs and sprung them up, nailing him right in the torso. Using my momentum I stood back up on my feet, planting myself onto Starscreams torso. Shockwave took this moment to transform his gun arm into a melee weapon, a turbine shaped fist that he charged with electricity. He charged at me and went to swing, I kicked Starscream and with another swift kick launched him into Shockwave. Shockwave and Starscream flew into a nearby building, caving most of it in.
I took pride in my surprise attack, but the sudden motion caused my wound to worsen and energon began leaking out of me in small torrents. I placed my hand over it to try and stop the leakage, but with little success. Shockwave rolled Starscream off of himself and both of them rose to their feet.
"A pity Soundwave, I always had a slight amount of respect for you." Shockwave said as he approached me, wiping some of the debris off his torso. He charged with energy his fist to deal a final blow, but was interrupted by a combination of laser bolts and rubble being tossed at him, covered in a blue aura. I turned to see the rest of my Minicons, Blaster, and even Vinyl Scratch ready to battle. Laserbeak began descended from the sky and perched himself on my shoulder.
"Don't worry Soundwave, I ain't gonna let no rag tag Decepticreeps put ya down before I get the chance." Blaster said confidently and sarcastically.
"We're here for ya boss no matter what!" Rumble and Frenzy said in unison
I looked to Vinyl Scratch who smiled "You ready to kick some ass, bud?"
Laserbeak performed a quick patch job to close my bleeding wound, it wouldn't last long, but just enough for me to fight
I smiled inwardly, and readied my energon axe. Starscream and Shockwave began to recover again, both of them shooting deathly glares at me and my companions. Shockwave snapped his fingers again and called out more changelings as I took my place beside my new comrades. A brief moment of silence went by before I held my axe high and charged them, the others followed me shortly letting out battle cries. Shockwave held his hand out as his own miniature army began their assault.

"Can we slow down just a teensy little bit please!" Fluttershy cried as she hid behind her own hooves.
"Sorry dear, but if we don't hurry then we'll be overrun." Tracks explained as he swerved back and forth avoiding the hail of bolts of energy.
"We understand dear, but we wish to get there alive!" Rarity complained.
Rarity's cries went ignored as Tracks ramped off a pile of rubble. The girls and I began shrieking and huddled, closing our eyes to prepare for the impact, but when it never came I was the first to open my eyes.
"Girls...I think we're flying..." I said dumbstruck.
"I may not be able to drive smoothly in a warzone, but when it comes to flying I'm an professional." Tracks claimed proudly. He chuckled, "And if you looked out to your left you'll see a silver Lamborghini performing the most incredible feats of driving to ever pride Cybertron."
We did as we were told, except Fluttershy who was still huddled, covering her eyes. We saw Jazz who was driving at incredible speeds, easily avoiding his attackers, with Pinkie Pie sticking her upper body out of the roof of the car, cheering. It was amazing to watch Jazz drive at high speeds, avoiding attacks with the slightest of ease.
I looked out the front window and gasped "There it is!" I pointed a hoof at the tower "There's where Celestia keeps the elements!"
"Alright then ladies, hold on tight."
"What do you mean by- AHHHH!" We all cried as we began to dive bomb towards the the tower. We crashed through the doorway and hit the ground spinning in circles, apparently swatting away changelings that were waiting for us. We came to an abrupt halt and the girls and I couldn't get out of the care fast enough.
"You could have warned us..." I said with a bit of anger.
"If you recall Twilight I did tel you to hold on tight." Tracks replied almost smugly as he transformed.
"Where's Jazz?" Rarity asked as she finished fixing her mane.
"If I know Jazz, and trust me I do, he'll be waiting to make an entrance." Track said. He drew his gun and aimed it at the swarm coming in from the door we crashed into.
"There's way to many!" Fluttershy cried as she finally worked up the nerve to look from behind her hooves.
Tracks stood his ground as the swarm drew closer "Hold...." he said holding one arm in the air with his hand open
"Aren't you going to start shooting them or something" I cried frantically.
"Hold..."
"What are you-" I cut myself off when I heard the roar of an engine off in the distance. A changeling must've heard it to as he tried to cry out to his companions, only to be cut off by the front of Jazz hitting his face. The other changelings tried to get out of the way, but they were greeted by Pinkie Pie's inexplicably acquired 'Party cannon' and sent in all directions. Applejack stuck her head out the the window and began to lasso changelings and with the momentum from Jazz whip them about the room in a whirlwind of pain.
They began to slow down. Jazz transformed and ejected his passengers who casually strolled up to us.
"Hey girls did you see that we were all like 'vroom vroom errrh!' and they were all like 'ahh ohh aaah!" Our pink ball of energy hyper actively exclaimed.
"Since we all made it in one piece let's get those elements and stop Shockwave!" I proclaimed as we rushed to the room containing the Elements of Harmony. Celestia taught me the spell to open the door just in case it was necessary, I was glad she did. Once we all had our proper elements on we hopped back inside Jazz and Tracks and charged forth to find Shockwave. As we tried to leave we were stopped by two large Decepticons.
"Where do you think you're going...going...going!" one of them said in a voice more shrill than Starscream's
"Insecticons!" Tracks pointed out as he fired upon them, but they easily dodged out of the way.
One of the larger ones transformed into a giant beetle and charged at Tracks, while a smaller one slipped out of view.
"Jazz what's on your forehead?" Rainbow Dash asked. Jazz's eyes widened as he ducked down, a bolt of energy barely grazing his head. In one smooth motion he drew a long rifle and fired into what seemed like a random direction.
"Girls, run!" Jazz ordered.
"But Jazz-" Rainbow tried to plead but was cut off by a stern 'Now!' from Jazz. We tried to flee but another bolt barely missed us as it hit the ground in front of us.
Suddenly the other Insecticon jumped on Jazz's back, Jazz grabbed him and quickly turned him about using him like a shield to block another sniper shot. he tossed the now limp body at the beetle who had pounced Tracks. The beetle slid across the floor with his comrade. Tracks charged him and gripped him by the shell.
"Fifteen degrees north sixteen degrees west" Jazz looking at us said as Tracks turned the beetle about, Jazz ran up and rammed his fist into the beetles chest and ripped out his innards, a blue substance began leaking onto the floor as it's body fell limp.
"What?" I asked
"Pinkie just give me that cannon!" Jazz ordered
Pinkie hopped over, rather obliviously of the danger, and gave Jazz her party cannon. He loaded a small round metal device inside of it and fired the cannon off out the doorway. It shrieked across the buildings and hit a roof. A large metal figure was launched into the air, Jazz and Tracks rolled out of the doorway and fired into the being, faint blue spurts of it's blood falling out of him as his body hit the ground and a mushroom dust cloud went into the air.
"Twelve" Jazz said randomly.
"Damn it only nine for me" Tracks said annoyed.
"What was that all about?!" I asked.
"Sharpshot, Hardshell, and Kickback. Soundwave's personal minions, and his best spies." Jazz explained.
"They must've been starved of Energon to be taken so easily." explained.
Jazz shrugged "Whatever," he smirked "I got more hits than you though.
"Oh you're such a show off." Tracks said nudging Jazz with his elbow.
He chuckled and shrugged "Do it with style or don't do it at all." He transformed into his car mode, doing a quick break dance as he did so. Tracks did the same and both of them opened their doors.
"Shall we go settle this matter once and for all?"
We all looked at one another and nodded, getting back into our respective vehicles. Once we left though, we didn't see the flashes of green fire burn away at the Insecticons and them turn into changelings.

I had Shockwave's throat by my forearm as I pinned him into a building. I tried to draw my sonic blaster, but was shoved off by the combined might of his changelings. I held my blaster out and charged it, but it was sliced off by Starscream's sword..
"Haa taste the might of Starscream!" he shouted. He went for another swing, but was cut off but Rumble and Frenzy's combined uppercut to his chin, the force of them using their pile drivers sent him flying off into the distance."
They let out a short chuckle before Shockwave punted Rumble "Rumble!" Frenzy cried before he met Shockwave's power fist being swung much like a golf swing. He casually began to walk over to me. I tried to move away and keep energon from leaking out of my wound, but to no avail. Blaster saw my distress and charged Shockwave with his own energon club, but it was a pointless endeavor as Shockwave simply turned about and connected with power fist, sending him into a structure. Ravage and Laserbeak tired to flank him, but both of them were stopped by a wall of changelings. The changelings, although weak, were enough in numbers to keep them at bay.
Shockwave continued his stroll towards me, grabbed me by my throat, and lifted me off the ground.
"It's time to end this once and for all 'old comrade'" his voice was calm, but his rage was unhidden.
"Not...yet...one....more...trick..." I struggled to say.
"And what's that? Your rag tag group is no match for my might. So tell me then, what trick does the infallible Soundwave have left?"
"Oh nothing..." Vinyl Scratch said from behind him. Shockwave turned to see that she had picked up my sonic blaster and was weilding it just like she had used my Energon Repair Ray "Just my BASS CANNON!"
"What the-" I interrupted Shockwave with a swift sideways kick, forcing him to drop me and stumble to the side. As he tried to regain his balance he was blasted by a large wave of blue energy, sending him through several buildings and into the mountain side that Canterlot stood upon.
The changelings let out cries of pain as their link to their master was severed and they all fell to the ground simultaneously.
"That was...convenient..' Vinyl Scratch said as she dropped my sonic blaster and ran over to me. Blaster, with help of Rumble and Frenzy, who finally dislodged themselves from the wall they found themselves punted into. Laserbeak flew over and tired to reattach my arm, but was unable due to the lack of proper tools. We had to settle for a cheap weld job.
"I"d rather not take a chance with him. Let's find what is left of his body." I said. We all nodded and clambered over the ruble to find Shockwave's body. We spotted it embedded inside of the mountain face. As we neared his yellow sparked to life as he slowly began moving again. We readied our weapons again ready to finish the job, but we noticed he was holding something.
"This isn't over yet...I have my own trick..." Just at that moment The element wielders and their Autobot companions joined along side us. The girls tired to power their elements, but I had to stop them
"Stop!"
Mid channeling they stopped and they looked at me with confused looks, but the Autobot's knew all too well what was going on.
"He's holding a dead man's switch. If he lets go of it a something terrible will happen."
He chuckled ominously "That's right, tell me, have you noticed that your precious princess, family, and friends are nowhere to be found? Have you noticed the odd lack of civilians caught in the cross fire? Did you meet my Insecticons, or rather their decoys?" he projected a hologram from his eye, it was filled with static a first, but as it cleared we saw his true plan. All the princesses, Shining armor, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and dozens of citizens were plastered to a underground wall by changeling ooze, the Insecticons arming what seemed to be the last of a dozen bombs filling the cavern. "I drop this switch and those bombs go off,and I assure you they will die slow, painful deaths. You have two choices now, surrender or I ensure your government falls regardless."
We stood in shock at the sight, helpless to do anything. We needed a miracle if we were going to win.

I finally hit the ground, colliding with another building.
"Cheap shot you little mini-brats!" I shouted, even though the combined might of Rumble and Frenzy had sent me flying across the city.
"When I get my servos on you I'll-" I stopped myself as I noticed it got dark suddenly.
"Whiny con do what?" A rough voice inquired above me.
I turned my head with horror to see the behemoth of a bot standing over me, his blade resting on his shoulder, covered in the green blood of changelings. I could tell he was smiling from behind his face plate.
"You don't scare me Autodump, I the grand and powerful Starscream have discovered that I cannot die, no matter what my spark will live on!"
He suddenly picked me up by my head, as I tired to squirm my way out of his deathly grip he grumbled "Bad-con spark not have body, then what bad-con do?"
Ignoring his terrible insult "Ha that's where your wrong, my body shall just be rebuilt!"
"How?" He asked simply.
"Simple Autofool! Shockwave will rebuild my body."
"Shockwave no do that, Shockwave hate you and rule himself."the behemoth explained slowly, despite my hate for him, I knew he spoke truth.
"Then the princess will revive me!" I tried to reason.
"Then where pony princess?"
"They're in the caverns below strapped...to...bombs...that Shockwave....intends to blow up....regardless of the...." The realization hit me like a meteor and I responded in a way I thought to be appropriate.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm gonna die!....Again!" I continued screaming until Grimlock dropped me hard.
"Shut up! Take Grimlock to shiny ponies now!"
"They're being guarded by the Insecticons we can't just-"
"Insecticons...." Grimlock grumbled.
I gulped as I remebered the incident with Grimlock and half the Insecticon swarm...let's just say it wasn't easy to try and navigate the graveyard of melted metal and insect body parts.
"Follow me and you'll get your vengeance..." He nodded, wiling to begrudgingly follow my lead. I led him to a a cavern deep under the cities surface.
"This way..." I motioned him to follow me. Eventualy we reached a large open cavern where changelings buzzed about on patrol and the Insections were in the center of the room, trying to find entertainment from their prisoners.
"Your precocious family won't save you...you...you" Kickback crackled as he armed the last bomb.
"You'll never get away with this!" Celestia said.
"But we already have. Even if they Surrender, or if they force Shockwave to run he'll still kill you all...all..ALL!!!" he began to crackle manically and his comrades did the same.
Grimlock was getting resless as he took a step to try and kill them all, but I held my hand out infront of him "Let me disarm the bombs first, then you can have your fun."
"Grimlock no take orders from Decepticons."
"If you want to let down your precocious Prime you will." I quipped back, putting him in the same situation of hateful acceptance I was in earlier. I activated my cloaking device and snuck up behind the Insecticons and went to work. Using infinite care to be silent. After what seemed like an eternity of careful manuvering I managed to disarm the last of the bombs, I looked over to Grimlock and I saw an orange aura emitting from him as I finished.
"What is that?" Hardshell asked seeing the aura.
"Oh no...noo...NOOOOO!" Kickback shouted instantly recognizing it, and the terrible beast that follows not far behind it.

With no miracle in sight we had to cut our losses. We lowered our weapons simultaneously.
"That's right...you lose....no matter what!" Shockwave proclaimed as some changelings snuck up behind us and ensnared us in their green ooze
"Insecitcons, leave the cave I'm going to set off the bombs"
"NO!" Twilight cried, tears falling from not only her eyes, but that of her friends eyes as well. The Autobots had defeated looks on their faces.
"Insecitoncs...come in..." Shockwave grumbled as he tried to establish a holographic feed. What he saw shocked all of us. the image of of a familiar lizard like face was seen immediately.
"Shockwave..." It growled ominously.
"What! How did you-"
"Hello partner" a shrill voice said.
"Starscream! You trait-'
He held up a finger, "I'm going to stop you right there before you go on on that over used speech. I'd just like to say that your standing directly above us. And frankly I'd recommend moving...but I'd rather see how this plays out."
"Why you little insubordinate piece of-" Shockwave was cut off as the ground below him began to rumble and heave, flames began to come out in puffs and gradually began getting bigger. Shockwave tired to transform but the damage from the 'bass cannon' stopped him from being able to. As quickly as it began the floor gave way and a large pair of metal jaws burst forth and Shockwave fell into them. Soon the body the jaws were attached to climbed its way onto the surface, the still fighting body of Shockwave in his jaws. He tried in vain to punch him, but it only humored Grimlock as a deep laugh came from his through. He tossed Shockwave into the air, and as he fell he clamped his jaws down, Shockwave's torso went one way, his legs went another. He let out a fearsome roar of triumph, "GRIMLOCK STRONGEST THERE IS!!!!"
We watched as the last spark of life faded from Shockwave and he released his grip of the deadman's switch, we all flinched, but nothing happened. Shortly after Starscream flew up from the hole.
"Feast your eyes on your savior, I the great and powerful Starscream have disarmed the bombs and saved the day!"
For the second time the changelings dropped limp. The prisoners were carried out upon Grimlock's back as he made a several trips in and out. Starscream sliced apart the material restraining us. Once free, we all gathered around Celestia as she flared her wings and stretched "My little ponies, and my new allies, I cannot express the gratitude I feel for saving not only me, but my people as well." All the ex-prisoners let out a cheer as they showered us with their praise.
"But..there is one thing we must tend to. Twilight use the elements to revive Queen Chrysalis and her changelings"
"Why Princess? What if they try this again what if-" Twilight asked only to be cut off by Celestia
"I cannot in good conscious allow an entire race of creatures die off. Use the elements and set everything right my faithful student."
She nodded as she began to channel her magic. She and her friends levitated upward into the air as their respective jewelry lit up with energy
"That power, its the greatest I've ever seen..." Starscream said in quiet awe.
"No..." I said, knowing exactly what he was thinking.
"Aww you know me too well." he chuckled as the Elements finished their charging process and let out a multicolored spectrum of energy that spread outward as far as we could see.
------
Night had fallen on Canterlot, and part of the city began the slow process of rebuilding. We had made out way back to what remained of the tower Starscream almost leveled.
"...It is my pleasure to pronounce you Mare and Colt! You may kiss" Celestia said finishing the ceremony offically. All the ponies in attendence let out a cheer as the Princess Cadence and Shining Armor kissed as husband and wife for the first time. Rainbow Dash took to the skies and super sonic speeds, breaking the barrier easily and causing a Sonic Rainboom. We heard her faintly shout "Best wedding EVER!"
From there all the ponies and Cybertroninans made their way to the garden where I was working on the last finishing touches below my soundboard. Once everpony arrived I turned on some slow dance music for the couples first dance. Twilight turned to Pinkie Pie and gave her a quick nod and let out an ecstatic squeal. She rushed over and plucked me from out under the soundboard
"Alright everypony let's-"
"Wait Pinkie..." I interrupted
"What is it?" I looked over to Soundwave who was holding his half-repaired arm, his Minicons, and Blaster.
"Did you guys wanna help?" I asked
Blaster smiled "Sounds cool." He eagerly walked over and took his place next to me. "C'mon Soundwave, it'll be just like ol' times man..." He said with a nostalgic look in his eyes.
Soundwave sighed and walked over. He looked Blaster dead in the eye for a moment before turning to his Mincons.
"Not a word of this in the future." he said glaring at his Minicons who nodded and smiled "Rumble, Ravage, Frenzy, Laserbeak. Operation:..." he sighed "Drop the bass..." He turned to Blaster and gave him a high five as they both went into a break dance that involved them doing a quick handstand and began transforming, no they combined with the Minicons to make a enormous Soundboard and full DJ set, their logos were split down the middle as it displayed in the center of the soundboard, Laserbeak turned into a microphone. I took my place behind the set and smiled at the wide array of options available to me.
I turned to Pinkie and nodded "Alright everypony let's get this party started!" she shouted as she tossed the mic towards Twilight who began singing.
"Love is in bloom...."

Hours passed. The bride and groom had taken off for their honeymoon. While the elements finished their own celebrations and turned in for the night. I met up with my brother Playback and Octavia and promised them I would explain the whole 'giant robot thing' at a later date. We were invited by Luna to meet in her throne room, due to the fact Celestia had to deal with more...foreign affairs with some inconspicuous ponies that arrived shortly after the elements of harmony were used.
For the sake of room the Cybertronians turned into their pony forms. We were approaching the throne room when Vinyl pointed something out
"Hey Soundwave?"
"What?"
"You're cutie mark changed."
I turned around and saw that it indeed changed. Since Starscream stabbed me through my torso he sliced my Decepticon logo dead on, creating a large slash through it, it reflected on my cutie mark.
"Appropriate I suppose..." I said calmly as we continued to the throne room.
Once we arrived to the throne room Luna stood up and cleared her throat "I wish to thank you...all of you for saving all of us today, especially you." She pointed a hoof at what seemed like Starscream at first, but she moved her hoof slightly left towards our behemoth of a friend "Grimlock."
"What about me!? I disarmed the bombs and cut you all free!" Starscream complained
"Don't think I'm not grateful for your current change of heart, however I heard that little quip you said about the elements, and I can assume you'll be back to your old was as soon as your out of hoofs reach." Luna said hardening her gaze
Starscream blushed, which wasn't very visible on his red coat and receded backwards embarrassed. Luna continued her speech. "Autobots will always be welcome on Equestrian soil" She turned her gaze towards me and the Decepticons," As for you, your prior crimes have been pardoned and you are free to leave as you wish." she said with a smile
Starscream stood back at front "Don't think I stayed because I was being 'punished' I could have left any time I wanted!"
"Then why didn't you?" Luna asked causing Starscream to repeat his previous actions.
"So Soundwave, how does it feel to be a free stallion...bot...you get the idea." I said with a nervous laugh
He looked to me for a moment, then he looked to the Autobots. He looked towards Luna finally and cleared his throat "If it's all the same...I wish to stay." he explained calmly
Everypony was taken back by this, Luna was the first to speak "If that is your wish so be it."
"What about me then, how am I getting off this rock, I'm sure as hell not going with the Autobots!" Starscream spoke up
They all laughed at once as Blaster said "Good, cuz we aren't gonna take you anyways."
"Good because...wait what!"
"We decided it would be good for you if you stayed on this planet. I got word that we're gonna send over an ambassador to this planet and he's gonna watch you like a hawk."
"Who?"
"It's a surprise, we don't even know, the point is your stuck here." Blaster said with a smirk
"Y-you can't that's low even for you Autobots!"
"Please take him..." I said quietly, Soundwave heard it though and chuckled.
Luna smiled "Then it's settled. Soundwave and his companions are to stay here as citizens of Equestria."
We all bowed gratefully at Starscream who was bent on continuing his argument, but it was silenced as he was dragged out of the room by Grimlock.

An Autobot ship landed outside Ponyville, as it was still night, many citizens were still asleep. The Autobots boarded except Blaster who stayed behind to talk with me.
"So..." He began
"So..." I repeated
"Soundwave, come back to Cybertron, we could use a bot like you to help rebuild."
I shook my head "I'm done with all that. I helped in the destruction of my own world, even if I helped rebuild I'd just leave again."
He nodded somberly "Well I guess I'll see ya later" he held out his fist, I smiled behind my faceplate and bumped my fist with his.
"Later...bro" He said simply as he turned boarded the ship. As the door was closing and the ship was taking off he looked like he remembered something and turned about "And don't worry about that ambassador, you guys might know him really well! He'll be here soon!" he shouted over the roar of the engines. Soon the ship was out of sight becoming part of the endless sky.
"Goodbye...brother..."
I turned about to my Minicons, Starscream and Vinyl Scratch all of them showing varying emotions.
"I can't believe they left me here..." Starscream grumbled.
"Did you really want to ride a ship...alone...with Autobots...and Grimlock..." Rumble said
"On second thought maybe being here won't be too bad, only have to put up with one Autobot." He said with a shrug "What Autobot do you think they're sending our way?" He asked me
"Unknown, but it is not an issue." I transformed into my pony form and began my walk back to town, Starscream and my Minicons donned their disguises. After eons of fighting I can finally and confidently say that the Great War was finally over for me.
"...So...now what?" Vinyl asked
I looked at her and shrugged "Might as well screw around on the internet..."

Secondly I've decided to start an ask blog involving the characters in this story feel free to start asking questions here. Thirdly, I may or may not write en epilogue so I'll leave it as 'incomplete' for right now, but it may be done just in the tumblr blog. Foruth, most of you said you wanted the Bass cannon, so that was the best I could come up with...If ya lied it awesome, if ya didn't....sorry. I sat about, gazing at the same unchanging screen for the last hour.
"You do realize more questions won't come in until the others get answered?" Soundwave asked.
"I know, but it's so awesome people wanna know more about us! Besides...I wanna wait till we get a webcam." I replied, nervously pressing my hooves together. I've known him long enough now to tell when he rolls his eyes from behind those glasses of his. Soundwave walked out of the computer room, which after his arm was reattached he walks with a slight limp in his pony form, he tells me he's lucky to be able to have an arm at all after getting it severed the way it did.
A few weeks had gone by since the Autobots left. I asked Soundwave what Blaster meant when he said 'In a few cycles' which rounded to about a few minutes, which was weird, but Soundwave explained that sometimes they're technical difficulties with the space bridge, his being here is one perfect example.
As for our daily lives, Laserbeak is usually with Soundwave almost one hundred percent of the time, but the other times he's usually with Ravage who lazes about Fluttershy's. Starscream is back to working with Rainbow Dash on weather patrol, although it's not exactly called working if the two of them can be seen arguing every hour or so. The dynamic duo, Rumble and Frenzy, still spend most of their time with the Cutie Mark Crusaders and spend just as much time getting into trouble.
I get to spend most of my time in Ponyville, which since due to the fact Starscream helped in the rescue of a wall eyed mare, a certain doctor was very gracious and let me convert his old workshop into that of my own club scene, I even offered Octavia and Playback jobs there as an apology. Playback accepted and now he and I co-dj together, but Octavia had to deny due to her intended audience mostly being in Canterlot, but she visits from time to time. Soundwave spends most of his day working at the club, and believe me he's no slouch at his job. Even though we're in Ponyville, thanks to Soundwave, the club is quite possibly the highest tech one across all Equestria, meaning we get tons of attendants from all over just to hear the ear shattering bass booming from every speaker.
After the attack a tenuous treaty was formed with the Changelings. I'm not one hundred percent sure what it entails, but they're able to cross our borders, which was weird to hear at first and upset alot of ponies, but apparently the Elements of Harmony did something to them and their not as ravenous for love anymore. Like I said I'm not sure on the details...
Some ponies still send us thank you letters for saving them in Canterlot, but there's some however who aren't entirely pleased at the relation Soundwave and Starscream had with Shockwave. They may not know too much about their whole past, but they certainly are able to put two and two together to see the Decepticon logo on Soundwave and Starscream's flanks and remember seeing it on the hundreds of Changelings that were attacking. So we usually get an angry pony knocking at our doors, but they're run off by some more grateful ones.
"Vinyl!" Soundwave called out
"What?!" I called back.
"Get out here, the Ambassador is arriving shortly!"
I lept up from my chair and rushed outside the house. Starscream was just beginning to swoop down and I saw all the Minicons running towards us in the distance. Soundwave was talking to that little dragon from the library who just belched up a puff of green fire.
"Alright cool need anything else Soundwave?"
"Negative, your services are no longer required."
"I you say so, by the way Twilight wants you to..." Spike began only to be interrupted by an abrupt 'No' from Soundwave. The little dragon looked slightly offended before walking off to the library.
"Twilight still giving you a hard time?" I asked
"Non stop...I hope this ambassador is another scientist so they'll leave me alone..." he said with annoyed look.
I giggled a little as I stared up at the evening sky. "So How do you know he's coming."
"Ive been getting faint transmission just recently, I thought nothing of them at first, but when they increased in strength I sent out my own signals to guide the pilot here."
"You actually helped the Autobot!? I'd hoped the so called Ambassador had went offline. Allowing I, Starscream to..."
"Yeah yeah take over the world, build your empire on the backs of millions of organics, and restart the Decepticon uprising blah blah blah. We heard it all before man, can't you just once be content with what you have." I finished saying with a smirk.
He looked at me dumbfounded for a moment "Do I really repeat myself that much?"
I smiled and nodded "Maybe get some new material..."
"Shh...I need to concentrate on helping the pilot find this planet." Soundwave said
After a few silent moments of Soundwave walking around the edges of Ponyville he stopped suddenly and turned to us. "We should move...now!" Without hesitation we all turned and ran. I turned my head back to see something smoking across the darkening sky. As I stared the object began getting bigger and bigger until I could make out a ship coming right at us. Thankfully Soundwave pulled me out of my daze and rushed me behind some cover.
The ship landed with a massive thud and skidded across the ground for a few meters before finally coming to a halt. The ship itself was more or less the same size one that Soundwave came with, just big enough to accommodate one bot. Obviously some of the citizens of Ponyville heard this and came rushing out to investigate, including the Element girls.
"What's going on? What is this?" Somepony asked.
Twilight Sparkle got ahead of the mob "Relax everypony, the Autobots who helped fend of the Changeling attack a few weeks ago decided to send over an ambassador to our world so we can keep peaceful relations with them, please return to your homes." She shouted over the crowd. Most of them dispersed but a few others stayed, chief among them being the mayor, Lyra and her marefriend Bon-bon, Playback, and Octavia who was staying with us at the time.
I had went over to the previously mentioned ponies to talk to them a little bit. We stopped our conversation when we heard the all to familiar sound of the transformation sequence.
"Laserbeak, Carve and entrance." Soundwave ordered, now standing tall in his robotic form. Laaserbeak let out a metallic screech as he powered up his laser and began to carve through the thick metal, which held strong even during the crash.
"Oh I hope whoever it is is okay..." I overheard Fluttershy saying to her friends.
We all impatiently continued to watch as Laserbeak finished carving out a giant square with a line down the middle of it. A reluctant Starscream and Soundwave took each side and began to pry it open. The metal lout out an annoying groan as it began to bend against their combined strength. Once the makeshift door was open they both looked inside only to be greeted with a sudden pillar of smoke, which the both immediately backed away from. From inside the ship we heard the sound of heavy metal foot steps against a metal floor.
"I cannot believe the infinitesimally small chance that space bridges worm hole generation would fail just as we were about to exit the event horizon. Who knows how many mega-cycles we lost in our attempt to reconfigure the light-drive to allow us safe exit." A metallic nasally voice said from inside.
"Is that..." Soundwave began.
"....Perceptor?" Starscream finished
An Autobot emerged from the smoke. Smaller in comparison to to Soundwave and Starscream he sported a blue and red color scheme with most of his limbs being square, except his head which was rounded at the top, what really stood out though was the shoulder mounted cannon he was sporting.
He looked around at everpony and smiled "Ah greeting and salutations equian life forms. I am the Autobot Perceptor, and my companion and I are glad to be here on this planet today as ambassadors to the Autobot organization."
"Companion?" Twilight spoke out "I thought you'd only be sending one um...bot?"
"On the contrary tiny purple Equian. Autobot command felt it necessary to make sure there was an even number of Autobots to the local docile Decepticon population."
"Docile?!" Starscream scoffed, an offended look on his face "I'll show you docile you-" He was interrupted by a swift and sudden kick from another bot who launched himself from the entrance way of the ship. This one contrasted Perceptor quite greatly seeing as how he was more aerodynamic looking, probably having to do with the wings on his back that tilted at the end for some odd reason. He was mostly white-silvery with red and yellow streaks on his wings and arms with a blue face.
"Come on them Starscream you didn't think we'd be sending just one of us to look after you two?" the bot asked with a cocky smirk on his face.
"You...Jetfire!" Starscream was at a loss for words it seemed.
"The one and only." He said with a bow.
Starscream was about to try another attack when Soundwave and Perceptor got between the two.
"Ah Soundwave, it is good to see that you've been the most cooperative, I couldn't process anyone but you being able to blend in as long as you did."
Soundwave nodded simply, he looked off into the distance for a moment. "One of the leaders of the nation of Equestria is approaching."
"Ah superb, I'd enjoy getting to business as soon as possible." Perceptor said. He turned his direction towards the approaching princess. Jetfire and Starscream were giving each other dirty looks, but it seems to the suprise of Jetifre Starscream was quite calm.
"Whats the mater, all the fire gone from your engine Starscream?"
"Hardly, I've learned to pick my moments a little better in my time here." Starscream proclaimed, holding his hand up to his chest.
"I'll believe that when I see it..." Jetfire said with a smirk.
I wakled over to Soundwave "What's with those two?"
"They used to be brothers...in Cybertronain terms anyways."
"Oh right that equal rival stuff you mentioned...wait...used to be?"
"Many still consider them to be, but they won't acknowledge it. Both of them are too prideful..."
"Ah..." Just as we finished Princess Luna had landed in front of everpony. All the ponies bowed respectfully, even Soundwave nodded his head.
"Citizens of Ponyville!" she said loud enough for everypony to hear "Please return to your homes, this is a private dealing!"
The rest of the ponies let out a murmur before leaving to their homes, except Madam Mayor who I guess was permitted to stay to let her be filled in. Me, Playback, and Octavia trotted homeward, we were quiet until about halfway there.
"So...ya ever gonna tell me whats up between you and Soundwave?" Playback started
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Ya know..." he gave me a nudge and a wink
"What?" The realization hit me "Oh nononono..." I blushed "I mean when he was here and spending most of his time as a pony well...the illusion was convincing, but..."
"Buuuuut?" He said leaning. Octavia was also now listening intently
"Well against my better judgement I asked hm about that and he shot me down for two reasons...one being the obvious fact it would never work out seeing as he's a space robot and I'm a pony and..."
"And? And what?"
"Well...he's gay..." As soon as I said that both Octavia and playback simultaneously stopped and said "What?!"
"Well yeah...He told me that it's because there was only two women at the end of the war, an Autobot and Starscream."
"Starscream's a girl?" Octavia asked
"No, but I think Soundwave said he had like a copy of himself as a girl or something...either way he told me 'with those as my options being with a man-bot seemed like the better path to choose'"
They looked at each other and shrugged, but shivered when they realized that somewhere out in the cosmos...was a Starscream who was twice as vile during a certain time of the month....

"And that's the deal...Any questions?" Princess Luna asked us
"Nope" Jetfire said simply
"None at all Princess."
I shrugged simply, and my Minicons all nodded
"I promise nothing..." Starscream said.
"You will if you want to continue functioning." Jetfire threatened, causing both of them to once again get face to face.
After breaking them up once again they both scanned for the local populace to don their disguises. Jetfire turned into a silvery pegasus with the same cutie mark as Starscream's only his ace card was an Autobot symbol, his red mane was slicked back. Perceptor turned into an red earth pony with a blue mane that looked cut with a bowl as guidance, he had a large pair of thick rimmed glasses adorning his face, and his cutie mark was a microscope. Princess Luna nodded to them to leave, but she nodded her head at me to stand off to the side while she had a talk with the mayor, to whom she gave a small trinket to.
Once she left Luna approached me. "So...can you tell me anything of those two."
I looked over at the departing group of bot-ponies. "Jetifre is usually level headed, but around Starscream they match on ego, otherwise he's rather trustworthy. Perceptor is much like Shockwave" I said, eliciting a gasp from Luna. I held my hand out to stop any would be outburst "He's a genius, but he's also one of the few Autobots who will never partake in combat if necessary, on top of that he isn't psychotic..."
Luna let out a sigh of relief, then she flew up to meet my eye level. "Soundwave...I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done." She smiled "And to think the first time we met we tried to kill one another."
I nodded simply before walking back into to town and transforming back into a pony. Before she left I turned my head one last time and smiled "Thank you as well...for giving me this second chance...I would still be on a path to my own destruction if not for you...and of course her..." I said my gaze drifting to a white mare off in the distance. She smiled knowingly as she took off into the night sky. I trotted homeward, happily accepting my new life in Ponyville...
