Texas shot up out of his sleep. He didn't know why, because he didn't dream last night. It was as if not only did his eyes close, but his mind's eye did too. The first thing that he felt after awaking was coldness, bitter coldness. Tex was freezing!
He turned to pull his blanket back up to his neck, only to find that there was no blanket. No mattress either. Only concrete. Cold concrete.
Tex stood up, confused, but still shivering. He spotted tall trees and grass to his left, but, under longer investiagtion, he found that those trees weren't trees, but flowers. Huge flowers.
Forget the flowers! He was freezing! He needed something to warm him up or he'll die! The forest looked far in the moonlight, too far to walk without collapsing. But, it was his only hope.
Tex started walking toward the strange forest, and sure enough, he fainted under the dehydration that infected him. Back to the dark world....... _________________ "Now, be good little animals. You too, Angel." Angel just stared at Fluttershy. "I need to go talk to Twilight."
Fluttershy gently trotted out the door and closed it softly. She continued her walk to the library when she almost stepped on something twitching on the road. It was about the size of two of her hooves.
She nudged the creature and it opened its small eyes. It squeaked, causing Fluttershy to squeak herself. She saw the creature's fear and she instantly bent down to it. "Oh, I'm so sorry for scaring you." ____________________ The first thought that ran through Tex's head was that Fluttershy will mistake him as a bug and squash him. But, she knelt down, her huge nose super close to his face. "Oh, I'm so sorry for scaring you."
Tex grinned. This was Fluttershy! The actual Fluttershy! Before he could tell her he forgave her, a cold chill ripped through his body. "Oh, you poor thing. You're freezing to death! Here." She picked him up and held him close to her chest. The body heat surrounded his body. The soft rythmic beat of her heart. The comforatable yellow fur. The vibration as she said, "I have to go to Twilight's, little one. Would you like to come?" You nod. "Alright..." She placed him in her hair and started walking again.
"Spike, you should get some rest. You've been up all night." Twilight nudged him toward the bed. Spike protested a bit before he finally crawled into the blankets. She turned around when she heard a faint knock on the door. Twi opened it.
"Um...hello....Twilight...."
"Hey, Fluttershy. You came here to talk about something?" Twi backed up to let Fluttershy in.
"Um...I don't remember what it was...but...I have something else to ask you about...if...you don't mind."
"It's fine what is it?" Fluttershy reached up to her head and grabbed somethin. After a closer look, Twilight knew exactly what the creature was. "You found a human?!" Fluttershy gently nudged it onto Twi's hoof.
"Don't hurt it..."
Twi nods as she carressed the human in her hoof. "I can't believe you guys still exist." Twi looked closer at it. "The poor thing is dehydrated. He needs water." Fluttershy goes off to get some as Twilight looked down at the small creature. "Do you have a name, little one?"
"I........."
"It's OK. I won't hurt you. Don't be afraid."
"It's...Texas...but, just call me Tex..."
"Tex. That's a nice name."
Fluttershy walked in with a bowl of shallow water. The human climbed in to drink. "Thanks, Fluttershy."
Her face paled. "You...can...talk? And..you know my name?!"
"Uh...yah...all humans can talk"
"But...my name..."
"That's hard to explain..."
"So...you probably don't want to be my pet then... You're too smart..."
"Fluttershy, no. Even though I can talk, it doesn't mean I don't want to be your pet."
Fluttershy lifted her head as her face brightened. "You want to be my pet?" Tex nodded. Fluttershy nearly jumped for joy before apologizing.
The pegasus asked for Tex back, and went back home, holding the human close to her face as she flew.
It starts to rain along the way, and Fluttershy covered Tex up with her other hoof. She rushes home. "Are you ok, little human?"
"I'm fine. You're the one who's soaked."
"But...I don't know how well you could take the rain. You're so vulnerable."
"That's true, and I thank you."
She raises Tex to her nose and nuzzles him. "You're so cute."
"Fluttershy, you are WAY more cute." She rubbed him against her cheek. "So soft"
"So cuddly" That was when her warm lips touched Tex's back. "Don't leave me, human."
"I have no reason to leave. And I really want stay"
"Really?" She started to tear up.
"Always."
She huged Tex tightly then. "You're probably tired. Here..." She made a bed and set Tex in it gently. She crawled into bed right next to him. "Night, human"
"Night, Fluttershy."
The two fall asleep. __________________________ Tex awoke to see the giant face of Fluttershy. "Woah!"
"I'm sorry. I picked you up and set you here to admire you. You don't mind, do you?"
"I'm fine"
"Can I show you to my friends?"
"Sure thing." She places Tex in the crotch of her elbow and slowly flew out to the awaiting 5. 4 of them looked at Tex with wide eyes.
"This is Tex." She said as she moves the corner of her hoof across his belly. He laughed. It tickled.
"It's so cute...." Rarity said.
"Why is it so small?" Pinkie asked, putting her face really close to Tex's. Tex touched her nose, and she squealed. "It actually touched me!" Fluttershy tickled him a bit more.
"Are you a spy? You better not be hurting Fluttershy"
"He's fine, Rainbow" After a few more tickles, "You girls can pet him." They did.
Tex had never had this much attention in his life. Not to mention being loved on by actual ponies. This was amazing! Truly amazing! He wanted to hug every single one of them.
"gootchy gootchy goo." Pinkie said as she rubbed Tex's belly. He laughed hard, and even kicked the air, causing Pinkie to laugh also.
"Can I hold 'im?" Rainbow asked. Fluttershy looks down at the creature, and Tex nods. She slowly gave Tex to Rainbow. "Tex, is it? Like the name. Sorry for accusing you earlier, little one." She scruffled Tex's hair.
"It's quite alright, you were just being a friend" Her eyes got huge and dropped Tex.
"Woah" Twilight caught him in her magic just before he hit the ground. "Careful Rainbow" she told her.
"Holy smokes, it...just...talked!" Rainbow yelled. The others were just as frazzled. "What the hay is that thing?"
"A human" Twilight said, as she hovered Tex over to Fluttershy. "A Homo sapian. They come from a parallel universe, or it could very well be in our universe. Walks of two limbs, has complex hooves, called hands, have very limited pigment, and they don't get a cutie mark."
"Say again..." AJ said. Tex explained what she said in laymens terms. "Well, a lil smart one, aren't cha? Ah bet you and Twah can be study buddies." Hmm...studdying maic DOES sound cool.
Twilight seemed to like the idea. "Fluttershy? What do you think?"
She looked back down at the tiny man at her elbow. "Sure, I guess. Angel is probably disliking him right now. Actually, if anypony needs him, be my guest."
"Human..." Rarity started, "Why are you wearing clothes? It's not a special occasion, is it?"
"Oh...no, it's not. Humans wear clothes every day. It started when Adam ate an apple he wasn't supposed to."
"Hold up...you're sayin' that lahfstyle was changed due to an apple?" AJ asked.
Tex nodded.
"So, you must need some clothes, correct?" Rarity asked, smile gleaming.
"Ya. Humans wear different outfits every day."
"Grand!" She said as she put glasses on her face, pulled out a notebook, and began taking measurements. "Your build is odd. I'm always up for a challenge."
"Thank you, Rarity."
"My pleasure, little one....wait...how did you know my name?"
"You know how Twi said how my world and your world is connected? Well, your world is shown in a TV show in our world. You girls are epic"
They were speechless. "TV?" Twi asked.
"It's a box with moving pictures. It's pretty magical."
"Interesting"
"Um can one of you take him for a bit? I have my hooves full today and I don't want this little guy hurt."
"I will be glad to. He needs to try on his clothes." Rarity said.
Fluttershy pushed Tex toward her and waited for her to pick him up with her magic. She does, and places the human on her back.
The friends scatter as Rarity takes Tex to the Botique
"What type of clothing do humans wear?" Rarity asked.
"All kinds. Can i just see the designs? I like wearing jackets like this one..." Tex pulled his jacket off.
She grabbed the small cloth in her telekenesis and diagramed it. "Thanks for doing this for me" Tex said.
"It's no problem. Any friend of Fluttershy is a friend of mine."
"Uh...I'm sorry...but how will you diagram my boxers?"
"You could just undress completly."
"What? No! That's awkward. Humans don't like showing around their parts."
"Your culture is strange indeed." The boutique came upon them. "Here we are." She sets Tex on a table as she goes in the back to get some cloth. He layed down on the table.
The door opened, and the CMC trotted in. "Sis?" asked Sweetie Bell, going to the back. Applebloom just stood there.
"Rarity?" Tex flinched as two orange hooves hit the counter on both sides of him. He looked up to see Scootaloo's face. "Woah! What's this?" She was staring strait down at you.
Applebloom got her front hooves on the counter also. She peered over at the creature. "How would ah know?"
"It looks like a bug."
"What should we do with it? Squash it?"
"That won't be any fun." Tex was too nervous to speak. Scoot stuck her tounge out and licked his body. "Tasty. I think I know how to get rid of it." Oh no. She lapped tex off the desk and started swishing him around.
"OK, human, here's the first...Scootaloo!" She spit Tex out after Rarity spoke up.
"I thought it was a bug..."
Tex was dripping with saliva, leaving a puddle. "At least you didn't swallow. I wasn't planning on being digested..."
"It spoke!!!!"
"It's a human. Now excuse me as I clean him up." She took him to the restroom, and held him under the faucet. She then dried him off and gave him new clothes along with some privacy.
She set Tex in a makeshift changing room. At one point, she moved the curtian slightly to get a peek. "RARITY!"
She jumped back. "Sorry, sorry. Just curious."
After Tex was done, she took him to the front again. "Sorry 'bout earlier." Scoot said.
"It's fine. Just don't do it again." Scootaloo smiled and walked out where the other two were waiting.
Sweetie Bell popped her head back in. "I forgot...is making the stage ok for the talent show?" Rarity nods and the CMC leaves.
"Here are your clothes. Where would you like to go now?"
Rarity came into the library. The sight shocked Tex. Twilight was running around madly cleaning up and checking on certain things. "It's about time you helped me clean up this place." Spike commented.
"Silence, Spike. I need to make this place safe for the...oh, hello Rarity." Rarity picked Tex up in her magic and puched him over to Twi. She let go of him for a slight second and Twilight caught him with her own.
Rarity went back out the door and Twi set Tex down on the table. She peered curiously at him.
"Uh..." This was a bit awkward. "Can we get on with the studies?"
"Oh...right...as you can see, I have made the library as safe as I can for you."
"Is this the human, Twi?" Spike grabbed the edge of the table and peeked over it to see Texas.
"Yes, Spike, now don't scare it."
"He's fine. Twi, where do we start?"
She pulled out a book and opened it next to him. "Let's start with a simple levatation spell." She pointed her hoof at a section of the book.
"...I can't read that. It's Greek"
"Technically--"
"Sorry to be antsy..." That was a horrible joke. "...but, can you just explain them?"
She explains everything. "Now, try it on this pebble."
Tex nodded. His fingers glowed and he focused on the rock. He closed his eyes tightly. The rock slowly lifted.
He opened his eyes to see it levitating, and turned to Twi proudly for the success. He saw Twi hovering also, hooves running in the air. 'Holy...!" He cut out the levitation and she landed again.
"YOU'RE A THREAT TO EQUESTRIA!"
"No, Twi...wait...I--" a cup slammed down over him. "TWI!"
She walked away from him. Tex fell back onto the ground and cried. *** Spike looked at the crying human...then back at Twi. "That was a little harsh, don't you think?" She humphed. "You're jealous, aren't you? He got it on his first try when you didn't." No answer. "Celestia didn't think YOU were a threat after showing your stuff. She trained you. You should do the same."
"I'm going to go study. Good bye." She walked into the other room and slammed the door.
Tex was still under the glass when he stopped crying. He didn't want to hurt anypony. He wanted Twi to like him. He wanted to learn magic. He wasnted love...like Fluttershy gave him. Fluttershy. He pictured her cute innocence. Her flowin pink hair and soft yellow coat. Her rythmic heart. Her voice. Just thinking about her made him cry again.
Spike ran after Twilight to get her to reconsider.
Tex was alone.
The silence settled in.
He felt like Luna.
Trapped on the moon.
That moment stopped suddenly when a crash came through the window. A black alicorn jumped inside. "TWI!" Tex yelled through the glass. She didn't hear. The alicorn runs upstairs and Tex hears screams. No!
Tex's vision starts to spin. The lack of oxygen... "Twi...." Tex fainted.
He was still.
Like a rock.
Petrified. *** Discord stretched as he walked of the stand. He finally got free again. The pony that freed him was named Jakob Foundervek. With Vek by his side, the Elements of Harmony won't stand a chance.
Air flooded Tex's lungs and he weakly looked up, coughing up a storm.
"Hey there, little guy." All Texas could see was a blurred smude of colors. "Do you have a name?"
After regulating his breathing, he answered. "My name's...Tex"
"Great name. My name's Luna"
Ok...wait...wasn't he just at the library witnessing Twilight getting foalnapped? Ah...must have been a dream. "Where am I?"
"In my room" Tex's vision began to clear.
The smiling pony stared down at him. The beauty was unbearable. "You're....beautiful" It slipped.
"And you're cute." She then put her lips on his forehead and kissed it. The warmth that ran down his body could have been the body heat or the internal love for her.
She placed him in the crease at her neck and bent her head down, as a horse cuddles another. Tex layed on the fur he was pressed against. The aroma of the fur surrounded him. He wanted to stay there forever.
But, she pulled him away. "I've always needed company due to th--"
"YES! YES! YES!"
"You WANT to be with me?"
"Who wouldn't?"
She pressed her nose against his body and nuzzled him. She lifted her head again and started to tear up. "No," Tex got as close as he could to her. "Don't cry. Luna, don't cry, please."
He was suddenly grabbed and found himself on her cheek, prssed on by her knees. "Don't ever leave me, Tex."
Texas started tearing up himself. "I promise, Luna. I vow to it"
She pulled him away again. "Tex, have you ever seen a moonset?"
"Nope" She carried him out to the balcony. "You're going to show me...." She nodded and closed her eyes. The horn glowed, and the night fell, start of a new day. Tex looked out to see a blue alicorn working on the sky. "Luna, I must see when you raise the moon."
She smiled. "Well, it's time for bed, Tex" She climbed in, and set him right on her chest. She held him her knees. "Night, human" Luna's heartbeat put him to sleep instantly.
It was tough to sleep during the day, but Tex managed.
Something nudged Tex's side. He opened his eyes to see Luna's nose ently bumping his side. "I'm about to raise the moon, Tex."
Tex stood up, got dressed, and awaited Luna. She bent down to allow Tex to climb onto her head. He got on, and held on to a few strands of hair. The slight bobbing as she walked caused him to grip tighter.
She ot on the balcony and he waited for Luna. The horn glowed, and he levitated to the balcony rail. He watched as the moon and stars raised. It was beautiful, and so amazing, words can't describe it.
Tex and Luna smiled at eachother for a while. "After breakfast," Luna said, "What would you like to do?"
"Can I learn more magic?"
"Sure, little human" *** After eating and learning a few things, Luna announced that she needed a book to properly teach Tex the harder magic.
She put him on her head once more and flew out to Twilight's library. Luna knocked on the door. No answer. Strange.
She opened the door and trotted in. "Twilight Sparkle?" No reply. Tex looked around trying to find her.recognized the place. That's when the memories flooded his mind. Memories of the dream. The foalnapping.
He told Luna, and her eyes fo wide. "We better get them back then."
Twilight woke up in a dark room. She was very uncomfortable and tried to change position, but this to no avail. She was chained to a wall! Twi called out, hoping somepony would hear her. No answer. This was probably that human's fault. She should of killed him when she had the chance.
After a few more minutes in the secluded darkness, a faint reply finally came. "Twilight?" It was FLuttershy! "They got you too?" Drat!
"Unfortunatly, yes. I bet i twas Tex that did it."
"Twilight? Why would you say that?"
"You should have seen his power. IT was as if he already knew magic but acted like he didn't so he could get on our good side so nopony would suspect him."
"But, Twilight. He was almost dead when I brought him to you, remember? How would he know somepony would be there to rescue him?"
"I still don't trust him..."
After a few more minutes, she found out all of the Mane 6 were down here. Great. Who's gunna look for them? Nopony!
"Are we stuck in here...forever?" Rainbow asked. Twi didn't answer.
"Who do you think was the evil one who did this?" Rarity asked. Twilight was still not talking.
"OOOO Mud pies!" ...Pinkie...
"I guess we'll just have to wait until somepony finds us."
"Let's play a game! how about..." Pinkie listed 20,000 games you could play from just words. Everypony else groaned.

"Who do you think did this?" Tex asked Luna, who was rushing out of the library.
"If I had a guess, I'd say Vek, but he has no motivation. Somepony else must be collaborating with him." Luna kept looking around to make sure they themselves weren't in danger.
"Where are we going?"
"To check the royal gardens"
"Why?"
"I'm going to make SURE Discord is still set in stone!"
Luna was suddenly hit out of the air, and Tex struggled to hold on. Luna rolled before she was thrown to the ground. "That....that's the same pony that took Twi!" Tex yelled, when the black pony stood and smirked at Luna.
"Hold on, little human." She said as she put him in her mane. Luna reared, and shot a lazer at the black pony, who dodged it. Vek flipped in the air and kicked at Luna, only getting a hoof to the side of the head. He spun around quickly, throwing a knife. Luna hit it with her shoe and jumped at Vek.
Tex couldn't see anymore because he fell into the tangled mess of her hair. "Lummmph!" Punch Pow Zap Groan Slash Bonk Rustle Silence
"Lummphh?" Tex said, hair still surrounding him. He felt himself fall suddenly. He grasped the hair desperatly, knowing if he let go, he would fall all the way down and probably not live. "LUNA! HELP!" He screamed, slowly slipping.
He help on to the tip for dear life. "LUUUUUUUNAAAAAAAA!" He lost his grip and fell. He closed his eyes tight as he awaited his death. But it never happened. He slowly opened his eyes and he realized he was in a dark blue bubble.
It vanished and he landed on Luna's nose. "I was victorious!" Tex grinned wildly. "Now, we must go to the dock!" She jumped up and flew away. *** Twilight was about to lose hope as she heard a splash in the water. The evil pony is probably here to get them! The water was up to her foreleg pits. "Twilight?" Tex's voice came.
"Heeeere...." Before she knew it, Luna was already to her, untying her and her friends. How did Tex get Luna?
The Princess teleported all of them back to the palace.
"I'm sorry I ever doubted you!" Twilight appologized as soon as they got to the castle.
"That's OK, Twily, it's no big d--" Tex was smothered as she held you in her front hooves and hugged Texas.
"You wanted to save me even after I did that to you."
"MMMFPHH!" She held him out again. "Of course! But Luna helped."
She set you down on the table and 7 pairs of eyes stared at you. Pinkie's jumped out of view when she bounced high in the air. "Fluttershy? Fluttershy? Can I play with him next? Can I? Can I? Can I?"
"Um...sure...P--"
"Yay! Wippie!" She bounced even more.
"Just promise me you won't hurt him....please..."
"I'll take good care of 'im. Responsibility is my middle name!"
Tex watched as Pinkie's mouth came toward him and bit the back of his shirt. She began walking off, joyfully, Tex's feet hanging below him. "Pinkie..."
She stopped. "Wh't ish it h'm'n? D'n't like pashtriesh?"
"I'm fine with pastries, but...can you carry me...another way?"
She moved her head and dropped him to her side. Tex screamed as he fell, but he landed inside her saddle bag, causing streamers to explode everywhere. She began trotting again. "Better?"
Tex was flying around in the bag. "No!" She didn't hear at first. "PINKIE! LET ME OUT!"
She stopped again and pulled the tiny man out with her teeth. She set him on her back. "There." Tex sat there for the rest of the ride, bobbing many times.
She picked him up and placed him on the table. "First order of business!" She stared strait at Tex. Pinkie shoved him down and began tickling him. "Gootchy gootchy goo! Tickly tickly tickle!" Tex couldnt stop laughing. "Boogly boogly boo! Hahahah!" He was struggling to breath and she stopped.
"Here's a mini cupcake, just for you!" Where did she get that?! Tex took it and looked at her. Her eyes were big. She really wanted to see him eat the cupcake. Texas looked down at the cupcake in his hands. Discord was on the loose, and here he was with a cupcake. Maybe they were planning something and wanted Pinks distracted?
"Do you not know how to eat a cupcake? Not to worry, Aunt Pinkie pie will show you!" pinkie shoved an entire cupcake in her mouth and chewed it messily. "now you try!"
Tex smiled and shoved it in his mouth. "Awwwwwwwwwwwe! That's so cuuuuuute!" She said. Tex blushed. She rubbed her nose against him. He blushed even more. She then hopped up on the table and sat down.
Tex looked back and forth at the pink legs surrounding him. He looked up at the smiling face of the party pony. She reached down to his small figure and picked his tiny form up. He pushed him against her chest and hugged him. "You're a wonderful human."
Pinkie held the tiny human in the hug for a long time. Tex just stayed there in the body heat of the pink fur that enclosed around him. She then let him go and set him back on the table. "Lets make some cupcakes." She pulls out ingredients rapidly while singing the cupcake song. Tex couldn't help but sing along.
Tex hopped up and balanced on the edge of the measuring cup. He watched as the giantess threw some ingredients in there.
She flipped around and her fluffy tail bumped Tex into the mix. She didn't notice. Pinkie picked up the bowl and began stirring it. Tex tried to reach the surface, but it was impossible. She poured the batter into cups and began sliding it into the oven. Tex felt the heat surround him, and he panicked. He poked his head out of the batter just as the oven door closed.
The Cupcakes fiction ran through Tex's head as he tried to yell out to Pinkie. It was no use.
Meanwhile, Pinkie set the timer to 5 minutes. "Okey dokey lokey, little human. 5 minutes and we'll have absolutely scrumptous cupcakes for us to enjoy with our--human?"
She looked around. "HUMAN?! HUUUUUMAAAAAAN" Her eyes got small as she looked at the bottom of her hooves, then her flank. She gave a sigh of relief and continued looking. She ran her nose into the timer when she was looking around. The timer....the cupcakes...the human!!!!! She quickly took out the cupcakes and started blowing on them. She saw the human laying limp in one of the pastries. Oh no...oh.....no!!!!! She pulled him out and sat him on the table. Please be alive....
He twitched, and slowly opened his eyes. She had to bite her lip to resist the urge to jump up and down. Only problem was, she already was. She stopped as she realized Texas's state. She picked him up again and put him in some shallow water to drink and cool down. Her big eyes looked upon him with concern.
Tex slowly drunk the water and his body temperature cooled down. He looked at Pinkie and decided to play a prank. HE played dead. That was mean though.... Pinkie looked at him and began to sob. Then she started bawling. Tex quickly stood up and tried to tell her it was ok.
"Sorry, Pinkie, I was only joking. Stop crying please..." She stopped and stared at the small human. She smirked and stuck out her tounge. She licked him in one big lick. Tex was frightened.
"You taste pretty good," she said. She opened her mouth and moved it toward him.
"No! PINKIE!!!!"
She pulled away. "Only joking." Tex laughed nervously. "Oh, and you taste TERRIBLE!" And she started spitting.
"Pinkie, IT's getting pretty late, um..."
"I already made a bed for you." She picked him up with her teeth and dropped him in it. "Goodnight, little human." She nuzzled him and then gave him a kiss. Pinkie then picked up a rag, his blanket, and tucked him in. She smiled at her job and went on to her own bed.
Tex woke up once more to see the titanic eyes of Pinkie laying above him, wide open in fascination. He was startled, but tried his best not to show it. "You hungry little fella?" she asked when she noticed his consciousness.
Tex stood up slowly and answered, "ya, I guess." When was the last time he had eaten real food?
"I got some candy out"
"It's breakfast time, not snack time"
"There's a difference?"
The human looked up into her eyes again. There was no use in arguing this, especially considering the circumstances. One wrong move, and he could be a smudge on the ground...or worse. "No, I guess not."
She lowered her head and allowed Texas to climb on her nose. She trotted into the kitchen where the assorted candy laid out. She set him down on the table and yelled, "I have a surprise for ya! Hang on..." Tex watched the pink pony walk into another room and go out of sight. A few seconds later, he heard Pinkie's voice behind him. "SUPRISE!!!!!"
He jerked around and saw the party pony standing there...on the table...his size. "P-p-pinkie?!"
"Wow! You look handsome at this size!"
"How-how?"
"I'm Pinkie Pie" Fair enough. "Now, can I feel what a real hug from you feels like? Can I? Can I? Huhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh?"
"Sure..." He opened his arms and she ran up to him and they hugged. Tex could feel her smile pulsating through her body. Her heartbeat was racing fast, as suspected from her personality.
She pulled away and started jumping. "Now we can do something together. Wanna play hide and seek? Ooh! Ooh! Let's play pin the tail on the pony! Let's eat candy together! LET'S HAVE FUN"
Tex was amused. "DO ALL THE FUN STUFF!!!" he yelled, laughing.
"YIPEE!" Pinkie continues to jump up and down.
"Tag! You're it!" Texas yelled as he touched his friend on her messy hair. He ran off and hid behind one of the huge Jolly Ranchers. He chuckled to himself.
"TAG!" Pinkie got up from next to him and ran away.
"HEY! No fair!" the human laughed as he tried to chase the galloping pony. Tex ran around and around and around, unable to catch her. He sat down from exhaustion. "OK, Pinkie, let's take a break"
"Okey dokey lokey! Let's get some candy now! WOW! You're lucky! So much candy for such a small piece for me!!!!" She takes a huge bite out of the Jolly Rancher. "Mmmmmmmm!!!!!"
Tex starts eating a chocolate bar. This was not healthy, but who cares?
"Now let's play hide and seek!" She dashed off right after she said that. Tex shrugged and began looking. There wasn't many places to hide on the kitchen table.
Not behind the blender...not beside the cheese grater. Not under the-- "RAAAAR" Pinkie jumped out and on top of him.
"Found ya" Tex claimed, laughing, laying under Pinkie, who was now sitting on him. He couldn't figure out if the smell of sugar was from the pony or the candy.
She jumped up, cackling in her own, adorable laugh. "Nopony has ever played with me like this!!! This was fun!" Tex smiled again. Her grin was contagious.
The door opened suddenly and Twilight trotted in. "Pinkie?"
The pink pony was awed. "That's how big we look to you?!" she asked Tex.
Twi looked over at the table. "There you are. I see you had a great time with the human" Pinkie nodded with break-neck speed. "We have business to attend to. So, please, grow back, and come to my library" Twily walked back out.
Pinkie walked away from Tex and grew back to her giant normal size. "Wait...if you can make yourself grow, can't you make me grow?" Tex questioned.
"I have no idea" She shrugged, and picked him up with her teeth, placing him on her back again.
"Can you at least try?" he pleaded.
"We have to get to Twi's pronto!" Maybe Twilight had a spell for him. Being small was nice and all, but it was dangerous and frustrating and scary.
Pinkie opened the door to the library minutes later.
"Discord has hid himself," Twilight explained, "so we are unable to battle him at the moment. But, girls, make sure you have the elements with you. He may show himself at any time."
Tex just sat there, feeling useless. A burden actually. They have to worry about him when they go and fight Discord. He'll slow them down. He sat with his fist under his chin.
Sigh...he was bored. They were talking amongst themselves, completly ignoring Tex. They were talking about a pegasus or something. He closed his eyes so he could remember the fun times he's had with the ponies.
The first time he met Fluttershy, scaring eachother, but ending in such a sweet way. Learning magic from Twi, which didn't end so well. Trying on clothes that Rarity made, with a curious pony that wanted to see him without attire. The chort company he had with Luna and falling in her hair while she battled. The games he played with Pinkie more recently, and the candy breakfast. He hasn't had time with Rainbow or AJ yet.... He's positive it will be just as fun. Sigh....
The thought of having wings came into his mind out of nowhere. He opened his eyes. He was levitating with blue streams moving around him. He would look cool in angel wings. The streams covered him and he busted out, with wings.
He looked at Twi who stood before him. "Now you won't be in danger of being stepped on."
"Thanks, Twily" Tex nodded, trying out his new wings.
"Luckily, since you are human and not pony, those wings aren't temporary."
Tex was overjoyed and attempted a flip in the air. But, he ran smack into AJ'S face, sliding down onto her nose. "Ah guess that settles it. It's mah turn to spend sum quality tahm with the who-mane" AJ said, staring at the human, bobbing every time she opened her mouth.
She snapped back her head, making Tex fly through the air, and landed on her back. "Hold on, partner." She raised her front hooves and galloped out the door, and headed to her farm.
Tex found himself on a table outside of Applejack's barn. "Naow, before Ah c'n spend s'me time witcha, Ah need ta do s'me uh mah chores." Tex nodded as the orange pony trotted off to the orchard.
Tex was about to take a nap, when a loud, high pitched noise pounded his ear drums. "UGH!" He yelled, covering his ears.
"Facinating!" came the distinct voice. It wasn't like what it was in the show. No. It sounded dead up like David Tennant. Tex turned around to see a brown pony eyeing a metal device as if reading it. He pointed the blue bulb back toward him and the loud noise came again.
"GEEZ! STOP IT!" the small human demanded.
"Fancy that! Dispite the miniscule mind, it can still communicate using the English language!"
"Im not an it, I'm a he, and I have a name." Tex turned around again to see if AJ came back yet. When you faced the new pony again, he was wearing flimsy 3D glasses.
"Human. Definatly human. Then I'm glad I came here as a pony." The screwdriver began bleeping and flashing red.. "Oh...that's not good. That's not good at all."
"Uh...what's not good?"
"WEll, human, it seems as though there is more to this whole scenario about you finding yourself here. Great place, no?"
"Ya...about the--"
"you're coming with me." the pony said, as he picked Tex up, and placed him on his head. The human didn't like the sound of that.
"Please! I did nothing wrong"
"Oh, I'm trying to help, lad. It's ok"
"What's going on?"
"Well, I'm still trying to figure some of that out. But, you were brought here on purpose by somepony. And you have traces of paradoxal matter, meaning there must be a paradox machine with whomever brought you here."
"And what in tarnation are you doing with Tex?!" The Doctor turned around to see the orange pony glaring and accusing look at him.
"Tex. So that's his name. WEll, we may have a problem on our hooves and he is a key." the Doctor responded.
"Tex's MAH responsibility. Ah ain't lettin' some random pony swoop in and run off with him!" she yelled back.
"Applejack. It's ok...he can be trusted. He knows what he's doing." Tex tells her, trying to reassure her.
"Ahm NOT lettin' him outa MAH sight!" Applejack yelled back.
"Then come with me" the Doctor offered.
"I don't even know your name!"
"I'm the Doctor"
"Doctor who?"
"Just the Doctor"
"Ahm Applejack."
"Now come on! We have no time to lose!"
They run off toward the TARDIS. __________________________________ Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. The sound resinated through the forest. Unheard but heard by everypony. It was so loud it reached the far expanses of Equestria. But none realized the noise. It passed by their consciousness. Nopony noticed the ticking of a clock. But it wasn't just a clock. ___________________________________ Pinkie Pie stared at her cupcake. She looked over, expecting the small human to be there. She felt alone. Sure, she could always go out and talk to her friends, but it just wasn't the same. The human and her had the most fun in ages. Nopony played tag anymore. Nopony played hide and seek anymore. But Tex was soooo much fun. He could be even more than a pet. More than a friend.
She stared at her cupcake, as she lost her appetite, and trotted toward the door. She was sad, but she didn't want her friends to know. So she tok a few deep breaths and hopped outside with her grinning demeanor.
After taking a few hops out of the door, something caught her eye. She turned to the shiny thing, and tripped over a rock, faceplanting. "Owww..." she said as she got up.
The shiny thing. What was the pretty shiny thing? "Shiny shiny shiny!" she yelled as she suddenly appeared where the thing was located. It looked like a watch. A weird watch. Silvery and shiny. She couldn't resist the urge to pick it up. Such a sparkly bright watch! She smiled.
Her eyes widened as whiteness engulfed her. "Wh-what?!" The whiteness wrapped around Pinkie and she completely vanished. The watch fell to the ground, no pony in sight.
"What the hay?!" Applejack was confused at the sight of the TARDIS. "A blue box. Now you're scaring me"
"It's bigger on the inside."
"Where are we going anyway?" Tex inquired.
"To the TARDIS"
"I meant in the TARDIS, where are we going?"
"No clue. Wherever these readings take us to."
"You act as if this box can move. What is wrong with you?" AJ confronted.
"WEll, I can't begin to count the number of things wrong with me. WEll, unless you think craziness is wrong. WEll, it truly depends on how you look at it. WEll, just forget it. That blue box CAN move by the way. So, Allons-y!"
They stepped in the TARDIS. "Impossible!"
"Toldja" He plugged his sonic screwdriver into the TARDIS and looked to the screen. He pushed buttons, pulled levers, and off they went. __________________________________ Pinkie jumped when the white...thing...touched her. She looked around. Where was she? The ticking was unbearable. She covered her ears as she saw another pony casually walking away. She wanted to call him, but she was too scared to form words. Scared...no...frightened. Her body shook violently as she layed on the ground.
No, you're a big girl. Get up, and find out where you are.
But what's the weird metal. And who was that creepy pony.
Don't worry about that yet. Just get up!
She slowly stood up on wobbly legs.
That's a good girl.
She started walking toward the opposite way the other pony was, when the floor below her suddenly shot upward. She was luckily fully on the circle that raised her. Pinkie stood back up on the new floor she just found herself on.
Her pupils shrunk as she found herself looking at the giant clock. It was clear, like a window. And outside was a moon sized planet. The planet recognized as Equestria. She was in space!
Pinkie Pie collapsed again, making a big thump. How will she ever see her friends again?
"Intruder!" The alarms went off. Oh no! They found her! Her adrenaline ran through her body as she jumped up and dashed away. She curled up in a ball in the shadows.
Help me. Oh dear Celestia help me. She whimpered.
Three of the strange ponies ran by. She just then noticed something wrong with their left eye. They were...like clocks. But...they were different.
Pinkie slowly slinked behind them, wanting to see where they were going. They seemed like they were-- A hoof appeared on her shoulder, but before she could scream, another hoof covered her mouth.
"What are YOU doing here?" a voice whispered. She started to cry. She's a goner for sure. "Pinkie... I'm a friend" Pinks turned to look at the face of the brown pony. "Come on, follow us." Us? She turned to look at Applejack. Thank goodness!
"Hi again" Tex waved. Tex! She would hug him if it was a different situation.
Tex's voice carried through the metal ship, alerting some nearby ponies. Two of them started coming their way, but the Doctor yanked out his sonic and aimed it at the ponies' head. "I sure hope this works..." He grumbled as the screwdriver whirred once more. The two collapsed where they were, twitching from an apparent short circuit or something. "WELL! Fancy that! That actually worked!"
"What in tarnation is that thing?" Applejack asked, apparently not caring to keep her voice down.
"No idea. I think I'll call it a...hmm..." He sits there and contemplates for a bit. "Oh! A cyborgian! How do you like that name?"
Pinkie started talking under her "gag". "Mrmm mm mmm" The Doctor released. "Look! I found a thing!" She pointed to a flag that was hanging behind them. It had a huge symbol similar to that of the Jolly Roger, but there was something very different. One of the eyes was actually a timepiece, probably a watch of some sort. Above this symbol had the words "Pendulum Pirates"
"Well, Pendulum Pirates is a better name than a Cyborgian" Tex stated
"HEY! It took me a long time to fabricate what I believe is the most brilliant name in the universe!" The Doctor said, rather offended.
"What," AJ laughed, "All of ten seconds"
"Shutup"
A door slammed shut somewhere and the gang got quiet. The Doctor began to whisper "We need to figure out what exactly is going on here. Who knows who else they kidnapped....or what else..."
As if on cue, the intercom came on again. "Pirate #134 and #652 please come down to the chambers. Bring your Prisoner Control Batons."
"Oh nellie... I shouldn't have come here." AJ said quietly.
"Well I didn't ask you to" The Doctor said. "Wait...actually i did...kinda sorta."
Pinkie hopped on the Doctor's back. "Hey. Where'd Tex go?"
