When the Borg attack the Pony world of Equestria. Time Turner (Doctor Who) does what he does best, he runs. He runs to save the ponies of Equestria, he runs to get away form the Borg. He runs to find live saving information form the United Federation of Planets, to find a ghost and to confront the evil of the Galactic Empire. He runs with a new crew for the TARDIS. He runs for his some ponies special. He runs to save his new home. Run with a clever pony: Doctor Whooves.
Doctor Whooves and the TARDIS Crew. in "Come Little Children"
-Forward- We all have night terrors. Every child will cry out into the night for a loving parent to come and protect them form the monsters that come in the night. Monsters of pure imitation only.
But, the solder after a war, has night terrors also. Doing battle with night terrors, only the solders are not just pure imitation, but also mix with ling lasting memories. The lasting memories of friends lost and enemies killed. Killed by the hands of the solder himself. The questions that can not be assured; how could I do that to another living thing? Did I do the right thing? What was it all for?
This were the sorts of dreams that the Doctor: Lord of Time, would have.
But, that was a long time ago, in a different place, on another world.
Safe in his new home with a female that he love. The old Time Lord had lay down his old life of wandering and fighting the good fight, for a soft bed and good food. And, lost of love, from mostly Derpy Hooves, known by her nick name Ditzy Doo, and there little filly, Dinky Doo. They were the best things ever to happen to the Doctor. But, even with their love, they could not take away the night terrors that would come and wake Time Turner up in a cold sweet. His hearts beating as if he had been running for his very life. NO! Not his life, his family lives.
Each time Ditzy would wake with Time Turner and comfort him as best she could, calling by his new name, Time Turner Or, her big brave Timey Wimey Turner, if she was in the mood to do so. For that was the name the Doctor had chosen when he applied for citizenship to Ponyville. Once he saw that his TARDIS was somehow stuck on Equestria.
Equestria being the home world of Pony kind.
After a number of adventures with Ditzy Doo and other ponies, the Doctor had fallen in love with both his Derpy Ditzy Doo Hooves and the Pony world of Equestria. He had stop trying to fix the TARDIS, for the most part. Just happy to take the time and space ship out for little spins thought time and space in his new universal home. He had even started to question why he like the Earth so much at one time.
But, now the only thing that reminded the old Time Lord, of the Doctor, were the night terrors that would not go away. The terrors that always started the same way by asking... Doctor Who?
It had started out like most mornings. Time Turner got off work as the night watch time keeper of Ponyville and made his way to Applejack's farm, Sweet Apple Acres. The farm was just outside of Ponyville, there Time Turner would buy one dozen apples for Ditzy Doo to mix into apple muffins. After buying the apples, Time Turner would start for home, to help his beloved Ditzy with her mail deliveries. Next an afternoon bed time inside the TARDIS, where he could get eight hours of sleep in under one hour of time. After that was Time Turn favorite part of the day, homework and play time with his family. Oh, how Time Turn love to run in the fields with Dinky and Ditzy. Then he clean up a little and was ready for his job as the night watch once more. A simple and wonderful life.
However, today Time Turner had just gotten to the town mall when a big dark shadow cast itself over Ponyville. Time Turner looked up and saw a grate cube in the sky over head. Slowly the cube move over the land and once the cube was over the capital, Canterlot, a voice form inside the cube said, "We are the Borg. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile."
At once a number of Royal Guard Pegasus ponies took to the air to defend the capital, Only to be vaporizes, or captured and taken inside the cube ship. Upon seeing this, Time Turner started shouting. "Every Pony! Get to my TARDIS!"
As fast as his feet could go Time Turner ran to his home to find Ditzy and there friend Princess Twilight Sparkle standing beside the open doors of the TARDIS. They were trying to get as many ponyville ponies as they could inside, before something bad happen. But, Rarity and a few other families did not understand how the TARDIS worked. At best they thought only two or three ponies could fit inside a small Police Box. What ever a 'Police Box' was.
Time Turner looked around. He saw Applejack bring a group of little colts with her coming up the road, and Pinkie Pie was bringing a number of older ponies form across the main fields of Ponyville.
Turning his head, Time Turner looked to Canterlot and was shocked at what he saw, and knew he had to make hast. He got to the TARDIS and asked, "Is everypony inside?" Ditzy Doo nodded to the hold outs, "Only Rarity and a few others refuse to get inside. They say there could be no more room inside."
Princess Twilight told Time Turner and Ditzy Doo, "Spike is inside showing the other ponies down the hallways to some of the safe rooms, and keeping track of where everypony is."
Time Turner then said, "We will have to come back for the hold outs latter. Right now we have to save a lot of ponies and the royal family." At once Time Turner, Ditzy Doo, and Princess Twilight Sparkle ran into the TARDIS, and closed the doors.
Rarity, along with her sister Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo's family, stood outside the TARDIS. Sweetie Belle than asked, "How did all the ponies fit inside the Police Box? Rarity replied, "It had to be a magic trick of some sort. That or they are all cramped up inside with no place to go."
Just then a strange sound of ripping and tearing came frome all around the Police Box. A light from on top of the box started to flash and slowly the TARDIS vanished form sight.
Time Turner got to the center controls of the TARDIS and said, “Alright, were going to brake some time rules right now but EVERY PONY LIVES!. Ditzy, Twilight; when I open the doors of the TARDIS things are going to look strange, but your job is to push down your fears and get everypony down the hallways as fast as you can. Understand?” Twilight Sparkle wanted to know Time Turns definition of strange, but before she could ask Time Turn open the doors of the TARDIS and called out. “Come inside and live or stay put and die your call. You know me and I am not joking.” At once it seem that every pony in the world was running thought the open doors of the TARDIS. Ghost of each pony went around the center controls and down the halls to the rooms at the end. Ditzy Doo and Twilight Sparkle called to the ponies to go into the rooms, when it looked as if a room was full they closed the door. Only Spik the young dragon stay in the hall way to help get ponies into other rooms, and to keep notes as to where every pony was.
Just as fast as the ghost stamped started, it was over. A little over half of the rooms of the TARDIS were filled with friends and family.
Ditzy, Twilight Sparkle, and Spick return to the main control room and found the royal family had come on board the TARDIS and were trying to talking to Time Turner. However Time Turner was hard at work at the controls of the TARDIS.
Upon see Ditzy Doo, Time Turner said: “Ditzy, take veridical control station. We are about to brake some more time rules. Spik you and Shining Armor open the TARDIS doors when I give the word to do so. We got some more ponies to save.”
Ditzy Doo took her place at the center controls. Twilight Sparkle then asked; “Ditzy Doo, do you know how to fly this thing?” Ditzy Doo smile as she went to work. “How do you think I have become the top delivery and mail mare pony in Ponyville? Time Turner has been teaching me how to fly the TARDIS and I use it every day.” She then turn to Time Turner and asked. “What do you need me to do?” Time Turner replied; “You will see six targets on your monitor. Those will be the royal guard ponies that were shoot by that cubes power beam. I got the time controls we are going to pick them up, one mili-second before they were zapped.”
Time Turner and Ditzy Doo then press buttons and turn knobs until Time Turner cry out. “NOW! OPEN THE DOORS. NO TIME TO LOSE!!” As ordered the captain of the royal guard, Shining Armor and small dragon Spik open the doors to the TARDIS and held them in place. Almost at once one of the royal guard ponies came flying into the opening and slammed into the wall. Then came a flash of light form outside, and a strange sound that seem to be heading away for the TARDIS. Then the next royal guard pony and the next. Each time the strange sound and light happen. At last all the pony guards were on bard the TARDIS, a little banged up by the flying into the TARDIS, but safe.
Time Turn then said; “Keep the doors open. We are going for the last ponies that were taken up in the tractor beam. Ditzy do you see them?” “I got them on monitor. Heading stare for them.” reported Ditzy Doo. “That it. We almost got them.”
The TARDIS shook and rocked. At last the time machine held still, and a ill quite fill the room. Time Turn then said; “Alright we are in the tractor beam, somepony help me pull the guards inside the TARDIS.” Twilight Sparkle ran to the doors and put out a hoof, just then a flash of blue, and rainbow. Rainbow Dash jump out of the TARDIS and grabbed two of the four dozen ponies trapped inside the beam. She did this over again until everypony was safe inside.
Time Turner then asks the doors of the TARDIS be close and said the he was returning to the field to pick up Rarity, along with her sister Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo‘s family. Time Turner then informed Princess Celestia that Rarity my not want to come inside the TARDIS because of space issues, and could she please speak to her about it. ***
Just as it had disappeared, the TARDIS return to the field in front of Rarity, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo family. The door open and Princess Celestia stood inside and said in a clear voice. “Get your little butt’s inside now!” With out another word the hold out ponies ran inside the TARDIS.
Twilight Sparkle stood with her mouth open as Princess Celestia explained. “It is all well and good to talk in riddles, when lives are not on the line.” Then Princess Celestia said to Time Turner. “What monsters are we fighting, Doctor?” The sound of the old title/name sent a cold shiver along Time Turner spin. “My dear Princess Celestia, I know what you know about the beings. They show up in a flying cube, said they were to Borg and were taking over.”
As Princess Celestia and Time Turner were talking as Princess Luna came into the room. “Sister.” Said Luna. “The ponies need you in other parts of the TARDIS, I will stay hear with Time Turner and see what needs to be done.”
Princess Celestia did not fully trust Time Turner, at the moment. However, She knew that her sister Luna was right. Her subjects needed her and she would need the keepers of the elements of hormone to help her do what needed to be done. Princess Celestia asked Rarity, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash to accompany her. She then turn to Time Turning and asked; “What more do you need?” Just then three ponies ran into the main control room. Time Turner smile, “I think the TARDIS has pick out what she will need. We should be fine.” Celestia was not sure, but had little choice in the mater. Her last word to the three new comers. “Be well and do good work. My little ponies”.
Big McIntosh was sure his family was safe and now he was checking on other ponies as he ran down hallway after long hallway of the little blue box. Applejack had taken a different hallway and said she would meet up with Big McIntosh later. Now he found two pony mares running blind as hard and as fast as they could. Big mcIntosh took the lead and the two mares followed. All at once the hallway came to an end, and there was most of the royal family, and a few other ponies. And, Princess Celestia herself?! Big Mcintosh stop upon seeing Princess Celestia, having the two mares run right into the back of him. The little white unicorn at once shouted. "What the big ideal, slamming on the brakes like that!?"
However the dark gray mare saw Princess Celestia and other royals and told her friend. "Vinyl, silence. NOW."
The White unicorn named Vinyl was mad and started saying. "Octavia Melody, your are not the boss of me...." Only to get pass Big McIntosh, as she did so, Vinyl find herself face to face with Princess Celestia herself. Vinyl then said. "On the other hove, she is the boss of me..." She then returned and try to hide behind Big McIntosh.
Eyes fix on Princess Celestia, the three ponies hear Celestia tell them to be well. With that Princess Celestia looked to her sister Princess Luna as well as Princess Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash, and the group went into the hallway.
Time Turner smiled saying. "Welcome to the TARDIS. Question?" Vinyl then said. "It way bigger on the inside."
Octavias view was. "I am sure it is just smaller on the outside?" Ditzy cover her mouth with one hove to hide her own laughter, the first time she had venture into the TARDIS, she had also said that is was smaller on the outside and this seem to confuse her Doctor, for some strange reason.
Big McIntosh, a pony of few words, took a deep breath and was about to speak when Time Truner jump in saying. "TARDIS; Time And Relative Dimension In Space. A living time machine, spacecraft and dimension shifter all in one package. Fantastic Right!?"
Big McIntosh shook his head and said. "Nope."
Time Turner got a disappointed look on his face. "Whats wrong, Big Mac?"
Ditzy Doo then came up to her mate and said. "Time Turner, Big Mac's home and all the things he loves just got taken over by a bunch of monsters, his family is in grate danger, and you are acting all happy about it, and showing off the TARDIS is a little rude." "Eeyup." Added Big McIntosh.
Time Turner put his head down and let out a long breath of air. His voice sounded ashamed. "I am sorry, Big Mac. I went all Time Lord/human on you and the others. Something I hate to do, but just can not help myself when I get started."
To compound Time Turner's feeling of guilt was the sound of a small voice that came from one corner of the room. "Daddy?"
Time Turner looked into the face of his colt, Dinky Doo. So small and helpless, the little pale purple unicorn, looked out form a small box fort that she had made for herself. Sometimes the TARDIS seem a little to big for Dinky and she would hide inside the small box. The box was the first thing Time Turner and Ditzy check when they started the TARDIS up. It had become second nature. to do so.
See that Dinky and Ditzy were safe, gave Time Turner hope and with hope he got cocky. He went over to the small box and held his child in his frount legs. "I am so very sorry, Dinky Doo. Did silly old daddy frighten his little colt?"
Dinky Doo wiped way her tears. "What happen, daddy? Everything happen so fast and I got scaried and you started shouting and talking funny, and all the ponies running all over the palce. And...And...And..."
The little colt thoughts started to run one over the other, but mother Ditzy Doo help by kissing Dinky and saying. "My little pony. The best muffin in all the world. This is a bunch of big poines acting foolishly. We got a problem and we need to work together and fix things. Things may get a little scary. But, know that mommy and daddy will always love you and will do our best to make sure you are safe and sound. Okay?" This made Dinky feel a little better.
Time Turner then said. "You know, we have a job for you to do. You know your way about the TARDIS, but your friends do not. Why not show them around and help them to be so afraid, of our little blue box. Could you do that for us?"
Dinky Doo understood that this was just away to keep her out from under hove, but she also knew that the TARDIS was way to big for colts her own age to fully undestand. Dinky Doo smile at her mother and farther. "I will find my teacher, Miss Cheerilee, and we will help the others. She said. With that he little colt jump from Time Turnes hug and walked out of the control room.
Ditzy Doo looked on as her brave little muffin walk away. Tears filled Ditzy eyes, tears of pride, fear, and even anger.
Ditzy close the hallway doors softly and then turn to the gruop before her. Vinyl then said. "Cute colt?"
Time Turner replied. "Hold on to your mains, Ditzy Doo has got something to say."
With that Derpy Ditzy Doo Whooves went into a rant. "WHO DO THESE MONSTERS THINK THEY ARE TAKING MY LITTLE MUFFENS HOME AWAY FROM HER! I WANT TO KNOW WHO AND WHAT THEY ARE AND THEN I WANT TO STOMP ON THEM LIKE THEY WERE DIRT cots...."
Ditzy Doo all at once stop, her eyes fix on Big McIntosh. Something unspoken when on between the two of them, and then Ditzy turn to her some pony special Time Turner. She said, with tears in her eyes. "I think we need the Doctor."
Princess Luna reenter to the main control room, and reported to Time Turner and the other. "My sister is keeping the population as calm as only she can. Princes Twilight Sparkle is keeping things in order with help form the young dragon Spike. And, Pinky Pie...She is doing something strange in the drawing room."
"What about you Princess Luna, how are you doing?" asked Time Turner. Princess Luna sniffed a little and replied, "Most ponies still see me as Nightmare Moon the trader. Only my children trust me, and they are so small and helpless."
Big Macintosh then said. "Oh, you have children, my Princess?"
Vinyl then shared, in a loud voice. "It a thing, You know, for us that worship the night. All the best parties and dances happen at night. Yo!"
Octavia on the other hove explained. "Children of the Night is more a title that we have given ourselves, with the grace of Princess Luna. We are all brother and sister in that way." Time Turner just gave an understanding smile.
The with a snappy, "Right!". Time Turner went to the main control in the center of the hexagon room. He then explain. "Now, as I was saying before things got to real, this is a TARDIS. It can take you almost any place you can think of. It is also alive, and it pick each of you to be the crew."
Luna smile, "I will go new and see what I can do to help my sister." But just as Princess Luna turn to go down the hallway, the doors close and would not let her pass. Luna fix her eyes upon Time Turner and asked. "What is the meaning of this, Time Turner?'
Time Turner then started to sunder form place to place as he explained. "Well, as I said to the others., The TARDIS is a living thing, it pick out the ponies that it likes, and can do the jobs that need doing. It is calling to each of you to take a place around the control. All you need to do is let the TARDIS call to you and then take your place."
Big McIntosh, and the two mares, Vinyl Scratch and Octavia melody, did not fully understand what Time Turner asked them to do, but Princess Luna and Ditzy Doo show them. The Princess and Ditzy closed their eyes and took deep even breaths. Once they were relaxed, they up one hove in front of the other. Until they stop at a spot in the TARDIS control center.
"Now." Said Time Turner. "You dears ponies, keep your eyes closed until the other find there own place."
Octavia went next, and had little trouble getting into the right state of mind to find her place. Vinyl had a little more hipper personality said. "I'm not sure about this stuff. Seem sort of freaky to me."
Octavia said. "Sshh. Vinyl. Close your eyes, hear the music inside your self and just let your hooves go. That is what you do at your mixing board."
With a long stare from Big McIntosh, Vinyl followed Octavia lead. At last Big McIntosh did the same. Even thou there was only two space at the control center. Somehow this seems to make Big McIntosh feel good to follow the rules and it seem to ease the TARDIS also. Feeling almost sexy?
"Now." Said Time Turner. "Open your eyes."
Vinyl open her eyes at once and shouted. "Alright! DJ Pon3 is on the microphone!"
Time Turner hove planted. "Okay. Miss Vinyl is on communication. And, my Ditzy Doo is my helm mare."
Princess Luna looked down. "I am navigation? Also, I seem to understand what I am looking at however I have never seen this board of things before in my life time."
Time Turner smile. "That the TARDIS for you. The good old T.T. Type 40, Mark 1, TARDIS." pointing to the glass tube in the center of the control. "Aye, see the heart..slash..thinking part of the old girl is under the middle thing that is going up and down. That is how you know if your TARDIS is happy and healthy by how well the middle thing is going."
"Eeyp!" Said Big McIntosh, who had the biggest smile on his face as his hove went form one control to the next in a slow and gentle manor. Time Turner looked that the control panel then said. "Engineer? You are the engineer? I mean, yes, you are the biggest and strongerst. But?" The TARDIS them made a whooshing sound as the central piston seem to start moving faster. Time Turner then rolled his eyes about the room to see if other were looking and thinking on just what had happen. Then said. "And, you are very smart and even clever in your own quit way."
The TARDIS made more 'happy sounds' as the females of the group started to smile and giggle. Time Turner know what was going on (sort of) and just for the uneasy feeling to go way. So, with a long drawn out breath out. "All Right." He went to explaining Octavia's control panel. "You, Octavia Melody, are the sensors and science officer. You make sure that nothing is in our way and the path ahead is safe."
Octavia then asked. "But, how do we know what we know? None of us, other that Ditzy Doo have ever seen the inside of your Police Box TARDIS ship."
Ditzy Doo smile big and explained. "See the TARDIS can sort of read the minds of the ponies that are inside of her."
Vinyl pulled back way for her panel at once, saying. "Wows! I not down with something inside my head!"
Then at once Princess Luna said. "Not inside, but around our minds. Much like it is around us now in our bodies. Interacting not controing. It cannot control, but link each of us to one another, and itself. If I look deep into myself I can feel the TARDIS and each of you as well. I can feel the love the TARDIS has for The Doctor and his new family. The love of its own shape as a Police Box. Even a strange and new love with somepony new?" With that all eyes turn to Big McIntosh who still enjoying running his hooves over the panel in frount of him.
Once more Time Tuner made his world long in one breath. "Moving right along. Princess Luna is very much in the right. The TARDIS well help you along and we can get on with what we need to do."
Vinyl then asked. "What do we do?
Princess Luna replied. "right now we are running flat out. Away form our own home."
"But!" Said Ditzy Doo. "We had to save lives and get a crew together. Now we have to find out what we are fighting and make a plan to find out what we are fighting and make a plan to take back Equestria."
Time Turner then put his hooves down. "You are so right Ditzy Doo! I lost one home to monsters, I am not about to lose another. For this point on, if I have a say in it...EVERY PONY LIVES!"
Sounding like a commander of a ship, Time Turner asked Octavia. "What can you see of the Borg cube?" Octavia replied. "Well, it is a cube that measuring about 28 cubic kilometers. As far away as we are, this is about all I can tell you from my scanner sweeps."
Time Turner walk around the room. "Okay. So, we are going to have to do a fly by to do a proper scanner sweep of the Borg cube. Now before we do that we need to do two things. One; we need to review what we know about he Borg. Then two; we need to have someplace to go and review what we will learn about them after the sweep. Form there we will figure out what to do next."
Vinyl was the first to share. "All I know is that I was laying down some new tracks, when I hear this voice come over the speakers saying something about. 'we are the Borg' and 'your bodies and teak will be added to our own, and that you will adapt to service us, do not fight back.'"
Derpy thought about it and then said. "I not sure that is a quote, but that does sound right. I hear it on the radio, and I think the cube it self may have had a loud speaker."
Time Turner then said. "But, no one hear them inside their head?" Each pony look at each other and shook their heads. "Right!" Said Time Turner, clomping his hooves together. "They are not telepathic. or are very weak telepathic beings. What more do we know?"
Princess Luna then said. "They almost killed six of the royal guards, before you save them, but they capture doznes, before you freed them. So, they want us alive."
Vinyl once more said. "OH. And, they got some rad teak, but it looks like a mash-up, ya-know. Something form this place and more form some other place. The outside of the cube sort of looks like the inside of one of my mixing boards. Or, If you turn this thing inside out. Humm? Can this box do that?"
Octavia was going over scanner reading and asked. "Time Turner? I found something that looks like, well it sort of like when Rainbow Dash flies overhead and a rainbow con trail follows her."
Time Turner looked over Octavia's shoulder and checked the readings. "OH! This is clever. A temporal wake, good eye Octavia. We do not need to fly by the cube now. We can just follow the temporal wake back and see what they have done to others beings. And, more important see who has defeated them and how they did it."
Time Turner then ran to his place around the control center, clap his hooves together and said. "Ready or not my brave ponies. Allons-Y!" Then Time Turner slammed his hove down upon a button and the TARDIS jumped to life making a 'V-room-rip." sound sound over and over.
Mostly being lead by the mantel cues of the living TARDIS. The wooden police box filled with ponies, and other beings of Equestria, made a wide birth around the Borg cube and followed in the temporal wake of the cube.
Octavia sent information over to Princess Luna and Ditzy Doo form her control station. As Big McIntosh reported on how the TARDIS was 'feeling' about the speed they were traveling. Vinyl got on the intercom speakers and gave a blow by blow account of what was happeing to the passengers in the back of the time and space ship.
Then Spike voice came over an intercom. "Hi up there in the, what ever room this is. Lesson, we been taking a head count and so far the only pony we can not find is 'the grate and powerful' Trixie. We are still looking thou. Also, the orphans are calling for Princess Luan to came and sing to them? Not sure what that is all about."
Princess Luna then asked. "Can my children hear me form here?" Time Turner smile. "I think all of the TARIDS would love to hear you sing."
Vinyl press a few buttons giving a head nod went the intercome was ready. Princess Luna said. "I am sorry my sweet children but your night mother has to work for you right now, but I can sing our song for you."
"Come, little children, I'll take thee away into a land of enchantment Come, little children, the time's come to play Here in my garden of shadows Follow, sweet children, I'll show thee the way Throught all the pain and the sorrows Weep not, poor children, for life is this way Murdering beauty and passions. Hush now, dear children, it must be this way Too weary of life and deceptions. Rest now, my children, for soon we'll away Into the calm and the quiet Come, little children, I'll take thee away into a land of enchantment Come, little children, the time's come to play Here in my garden of shadows...*"
When the last note fell away form Princess Luna's lips, Vinyl turned off the microphone of the intorcom system. A smile pass form one pony to the next of the crew, as a feeling of peace fille the TRADIS.
The spell was broken when Octavia once more looked down at her monitors and said. "Worm hole? The Borg split open a worm hole and came into our space time."
Time Turner looked down over his own control panel and replied. "You are right. That worm hole leads right to Equestria? Princess, is there a portal opening of some sort in Canterlot?"
Princess Luna replied. "If by, 'portal opening' you speak of the gateway mirror to the Earth then yes."
At once Time Turner started shouting. "That mirror is real? OCTAVIA! DO YOU SEE A CRACK IN SPACE!?"
Octavia looked over her reading. "Yes, that is what I would call it. We are flying right into a crack in space.
Now Time Turner was in a panic, almost screaming. "MAC! SHIELDS!! MORE POWER TO THE SHIELDS! ALL YOU GOT TO THE SHIELDS!"
At once Big McIntosh put all the power he could into the TARDIS portavtive shielding. Ditzy then started a count down. "Going into the space cack in. 4,3,2,1, now.
With only the smallest of shaking the TARDIS passed through the crack in space and into the Milky Way Galaxy. Scutum-Centaurus Arm 330/45,000 ly.
Ditzy then reported. "Okay we made it. Then she looked at Time Turner. "Doctor! What was with all the shouting and acting like we were all going to die. Are we safe or not?"
However Time Turner slowly open his eyes. As he looked himself over, he smile and then started to shout for joy. "HOOVES! I HAVE HOOVES!" He started feeling over his own body. "Oh, Yes! Same nose, same mouth, I am the same. The same all over. Oh! Ditzy Doo I am still a pony!"
Ditzy just looked at Time Turner and said. "Of course your are a pony. Why would that change after all?"
"Change!" Princess Luna replied. "The Mirror has a tranformation spell. When a pony goes thought the mirror into the human world called Earth, they are changed into a human. But, the TRADIS shielded us from the transformation spell."
With out waning the Cloister Bell of the TARDIS sounded and Ditzy Doo looked to her station. She turn the TARDIS hard to one side, and before any pony could ask 'why' a voice came over Vinyl's speakers. "We are the Borg. Lower your shields and surrender your ship. We will add your biological and and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile."
Time Turner then said. "Ditzy love, get us out of hear."
Ditzy Doo replied. "Love too. But I need someplace to go."
Time Turner looked over to Luna. "Pick a place Princess. We needed to go." Looking over the star maps, Princess Luna picked the Arcadis system and sent the information over to Ditzy Doo. With a few truns and twists of the controls the pegasus ponies set the TARDIS off and flying to the Arcadis system.
As the TARDIS went thought space, Vinyl asked. "What the HAY is going on? I thought we left those jurks back in Equestria."
Time Turner then said. "I am so sorry, but the Borg in Equestria were only a scouting pary. That was the main invastion force that we ran into back there just now. If we do not stop them the Borg well over run all the worlds back home and we will be left with nothing."
A sickening quite came over the crew as Time Turner words set into their ears, and took root inside each of there minds. Big Mac could even feel the sadness of the TARDIS, and it sort of felt like it was hugging his mind, in need of comfort. In return he thought of hugging the TARDIS back and though the words; I will do my best to protect you.
Princess Luna held her head up high, and said. "Then we know what we are called to do. Protect the worlds of our universe and take back our home planet. For this is the right and just thing to do."
Each of the ponies bow their head to Princess Luna and said. "Yes your Highness."
Octavia then reported. "I got a fast scan of some of the Borg cubes. I got some life reading, but they were very low, like as if they were half dead?"
Time Turner started looking over the data with Octavia, he then said. "130,000 life forms? Only Cybermen have those number. But, they are not form Mondas or Cybus Industries Earth. Also, they seem to lack elegants. Like their cyber parts are just stuck into there bodies with not real thought or plan."
Ditzy then said. "We are coming into the Arcadis system. Are we clear to land some place?"
Octavia looked over some new reading and said. "No life on any plant that I can find. But, I got some sort of message coming form one of the plants. Vinyl can you make it out?"
Vinyl worked on the message, cleaning up the sound around the words. "I am doing my best, but it is like some pony kick a DC player and then dumped the thing into a river. But, it seem to me to be saying - welcome to New Hope Earth Colony?"
Princess Luna then asked. "Can the Borg track us by our time and space wake, as we did to them?" Time Turner was still going over the data the Octavia had gotten form the Borg cubes, but said. "Transwarp capable. Bean and projectile weaponry. Regeneration defenses. Oh yes. The Borg can track us. It is well with in there technology. But, I got a few tricks in mind for them if we need them."
Luna the said. "What about the being that are in the Earth Colony? Are we putting them in danger?" Octavia recheck her reading and said. "There is no animals living on the plaint. And, I can see why, if you look at the monitor. What looks like a single star system is a lie. It is a binary system with a smaller star just inside the chromospheres of the larger star. The redioactive decay of the larger star is pull by and then shot out into space by the smaller unseen star. It makes a natural death beam. The Earth colony may not have seen the death beam in time and were cooked to death by what they must have thought was their new home world's sun."
Time Turner looked over the data and said. "You are very right. Taking the orbit of the smaller star into account, it is in oppostion with the colony planet once every three years. Equal to fourn years Earth time. Poor people must have set up a good life for them self's before it all came to an end. That is why the recoded message is so mess up, looks like it has been hit a few times by a flood of radio waves, and radiation. And, the next time that planet gets hit is only a few hours. Just what we need. Ditzy, set us down on the planet. It is time for us to hit back."
The TARDIS set down at a space shuttle part. Opening the door a small group of the crew came out side. All around them were the remains of the shuttle craft, hangers, and terminals. Vegetation grew over much of the buildings. Luna looked over the ruins, and said. These plants, how do they live?"
Time Turner explained. "Like most plant life. See these seed pods? I would say that hey will open up with the heat of the radiation of the stars alignment, and repopulate this world. With out the death star they would never open and there would be no life on this world. Plants are very strong."
The group of Princess Luna, Ditzy Doo, and Time Turner set about there work. They took four small transmitters and place them next to the TARDIS. Time Turner then use his sonic screwdriver to set each one of them in place. When they were almost done Luan had to ask. "Time Turner what are we doing?"
It was Ditzy Doo that explained as Time Turner went on working. "The are hologram projectors. When Time Turner gets them set just right, they will send out a projection up into space that will make it look like we are landing on this planet. What his is hoping to do is get the Borg to land hear and start looking for us. The death star will wash away our temporal wake, and we may even get a few Borg."
Luna then asked. "You mean to kill them?"
Time Turner replied. "If Octavia is right, and I sure she is. Then we are doing those poor being a grate kindness. The cube is ensllaving them, and keeping them in a half death state. Even if we could free them, they would be living is grate troment and agony. Along with frief and misery. Trouble in both body and soul."
Just then Octavia and Vinyl ran outside. Vinyl shouted. "T.T. we got a star ship coming in. I think they are looking for the colony."
Hearing the news, every pony ran back into the TARDIS. However Ditzy Doo's legs went 'derpy' on her and she fell to the ground. Almost at once she felt not only Time Turner helping her up, but someone else. The feeling of some being on her left flank pick her up form the ground. The being whispered into her ear. "Go back, my love, to the beginning. I am so sorry."
Ditzy Doo pulled to her right side, almost knocking Time Turner down, saying. "Did you see that?"
Knowing Ditzy Doo, Time Turner pulled out his conic screwdriver from his tie pocket (a personal invetion). He looed over the top of his wifes side to see nothing, but he took a quick scan of the air. and looked at the reading. He then said. "Psychic foot print, with temporal over lay. We got a ghost helper."
There was not time to study the ghost, as both Ditzy Doo and Time Turner had to get back into the TARDIS. Time Turner then asked. "Vinyl, why can you not contact that incoming star ship?"
Vinyl reply. "Hay! You ponies did a lot of stuff with time and space travel, but you did not do jack for radio. The radiation form the stars are messing up commutation. We got to get closer for them to hear us."
Getting to the helm Ditzy Doo said. "Then lets do just that."
Ditzy Doo place the TARDIS right in the frount of the star ship, there was no way they were going to miss see the TARDIS. Time Turner was a little worried about Ditzy take bold action like that, what if it was a hostile race that would attack first. But, before Vinyl could even get a welcome message out, the TARDIS had been given clearance to land in shuttle bay one. Princess Luna and Ditzy Doo set the TARDIS on it's way.
Captain Jean-Luc Pecarde and Commander Riker made there way to the shuttle bay. Captain Pecard remarking. "It will be good to see the Doctor once again."
Commander Riker replied. "It been a long time since Delta IV and the Borg/Cybermen Alliance. I wounder what the Doctor and his companions, Amy and Rory, have been up to?"
The door open to the shuttle bay. As the TARDIS started to appear. Commander Riker then said. "I will never get use to the sound that ship makes, it's almost like the Doctor has the parking brakes on."
As soon as the TARDIS landed and had stop, the doors open and Time Turner ran out, shouting. "I am the Doctor! We got a cubs load with Borg on our tails. RUN!"
At once hear the name "Borg" Captain Picard started giving out orders on his personal communicator. "Mister Worf, contact all Rederation outpost. Borg in this sector. Lieutenant Barclay, Lay in a course to the nearest star base. Mister Date, Engage warp speed as soon as possible. Doctor with me."
Captain Picard turn on his heals and was about to go out the sliding doors when Commander Riker pointed out. "Captain, he a pony?"
From inside the TARDIS came a voice. "Riker right, Jean-Luc. He not the man he once was!"
Slowly Captain Picard turn around and said. "Q?"
The voice one more said. "Dear Jean-Luc. How have you been? I have miss you so much."
Paptain Pecard asked. "Why are you hiding? That is not like you, Q"
The voice replied. "Oh...I got a little skin problem, it is sort of embracing."
"Discord! Get out of my way." Demanded Princess Luna. "Not now. YOU...you...Little sister Alicorn." said the voice.
"What is going on in there?" Asked Time Truner. As both Captain Picard and Commander Riker joined Time Truner as the all stood in frount of the 'Police Box' doors. Then a voice that sounded like Ditzy Doo said. "Just push him thougth if he will not get out of the way."
"The doors only open in!" said the Discord/Q voice. Ditzy voice replied. "I know my own TARDIS. The doors swing both ways. Big Mac, just give him a good push."
At once all of the TARDIS crew fell out of the open doors and onto the deck of the Star Ship Enterprise. One by one they got up and under them all was the chimera. "Get off me! You Ponies! Get off me now!" he demanded. Once he was on his own feet, he looked over to Captain Picard and once more said. "OH! Jean-Luc. Good to see you. uhm. What do you think of my new look. I call it Discord."
The Bajoran miitia was at the landing sight, as Captain Picard beamed down and the TARDIS landed in an open field of Bajor's open lands.
Captain Picard was greeted by the Bajoran officer. "Major Tak'la of the Bajoran Military Academy. The academy takes up all of this island. So, the refugees can the refugees can make a camp in the open lands with out infecting our own people. We are having tents sent up to this point and we will have them set up in a few hours. How big of a refugee ship are we expecting?"
Captain Picard smile and replied. "Major. Good to meet you. I am Captain Jean-Luc Pecard of the USS Enterprise, and the police box over there is the refugee ship."
The major looked pass Captain Picard and study the blue wooden box that hed earth writing all over it. The he said. "Looks like we are only going to need only one tent? Why did you...."
The major stop talking when Time Turner came out of the TARDIS. Seeing Captain Picard and the Major, Time Turner shouted up to them. "Is this the place?'
Captain Picard replied. "Yes it is Doctor. You may start to unload your ponies now."
With a happy wave, Time Turner went back into the TARDIS. The major turn to Picard and then said. "A talking earth equine? Is this some sort of joke?"
Just then the doors open up on the TARDIS and out poured every pony from Equestria onto the fields of Bajor. The Major stood in shock as more and more ponies came out of the little blue box. Captain Picard smiled even wider as he softly said in the ear of the Major. "It is bigger on the inside."
At last the Alicorn royalty came out of the blue box. Princess Celestia along with Luna, Cadance, Twilight Sparkle, and Shining Armor made there way to the spot where the captain and major were standing.
Princess Celestia bow to the major saying. "Thank your rules for me. I pray we will not be long in your lands, for we miss our own home and wish to return soon. I pelage to make improvements to the fields as best we can. We give you thanks."
The major was about to speak when a female unicorn with a magic mint green coat, sunglow eyes, and lyre cutie mark, came bounding up to him. After prancing roudn him she said. "OH by JOY! A human! HI. I am Lyre Heartstrings I am so very happy to meet you! Hay! Bonbon! Look I found a human! They are real!" Then the unicorn ran off to find her friend.
Time Turner then joined the small group, after Lyre had ran off. "Right then. The TARDIS is unloaded. As soon as the old girl is powered up once more. The crew and I are off to find a way to get the Borg off Equestria."
Picard then asked. "Doctor if you do not mind, how on earth did you become a pony? And, how did you get mixed up with Q?"
Time Turner let out a long breath. "Captain, my Captain. We are meeting out of time. Or, I should say out of order if you like. From my point of view. We have never meet before today. That the probloem of being a Time Lord. You meet the nicest people, but sometimes it sort of gets mix up as to where, when and time point. As I understand form your records, about six years ago. I, the TARDIS with two companions (Amy Pond and Rory Williams) went after a group of Cybermen that came inot your universe. The Cybermen joined up with the Borg. Did some more time jumping. Double crossed each other, and we got some gold to drive the Cybermen back to where they came form and we parted, going our own ways.*"
Taking a breath, Time Turner added. "As for Discord, or Q if you like, he has been a part of Equstria's history for the past thousand years. How he became part of all this, I do not know. Maybe you like to tell us, Discord?"
Appearing in a flash of light, Dicord stood next to Captain Picard. Smiling, Discord told his part of the story. "Ah, Good old Captain Picard. Would you like some tea, I know you would." After making tea cups appear in each persons hand and near each pony. Discord went on. "Well. As you know the Q knows all and see all. So, when this stated to vanish with no explanation, we got a little worried. And, with good reason, time and space were staring to...well...not happen. At first we thought that the Dalek, a sort of brain in a peppers shaker tank and x-ray laser gun race. Theyhad made a 'reality bomb'. However the Doctor had stop them. Then we thought about that religious order of the Silence, but by the time we got to checking up on them, the universe was coming to an end and it was every Q form himself." "Then the 'Big Bang 2.0' happen. Thanks once more to the Doctor and his blowing up the TARDIS. Like most duck and cover for your life sort of things. I some how found my self on the wrong side of the looking glass. Or, in this case the wrong time and relative dimension. With no way to get back home to my fellow Q. So, I made myself at home in Equestria. And, I must say I was enjoying myself. Until the dear sisters, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, thought I was having to much fun and imprisoned me in stone for a thousand years. Then they attacked me with a FlutterShy. But, now I am back home and it is Good-bye Discord. Welcome back Q!"
With that Discord snapped his finger and noting happen. Discord try once more and once more with nothing. Discord then snaped his finger together five times in a row with only the sound of snapping sound his only reward. Then he asked. "What is going on?"
As Discord asked a human form fading into view. "You will be needed for other things, Dicsord. When we are done, then the endless void shall dine upon our being. Your days as the Q are done." With that the ghost faded back into the air.
Discord did not take the news very well. He cried and screamed at no longer being apart of the Q contimum. Time Turner thought it best to just let him be and go on about finding out how to stop the Borg.
After about an hour, the TARDIS was ready to go, and Time Turner call the Equestria Royalty and the TARDIS crew together. Once they are all togeher, Time Turner cloped his two hoove together.
"Alright! Thanks to our friends, The United Federation of Planets, we have a lot more information about the Borg. They are a group of drones that have a supper hive mind. Multiple species that have bee forced together under the ultimate goal of achieving perfection. Now, why perfection calls for only one person to have all the say? NO CLUE, But! We know that the Borg Queen is in the Delta Quadrant of the Milky Way. In something called the Unicomplex, the Borg central base. Now! On a sad note, the Borg grow in numbers by assimilating other being into the collective hive mind. Mostly against the of those being assimilated. After a week of fight, the free will of a being is burned out and they become a Borg drone."
"Now! It seems that the Borg queen wants to have a mate. So, races with hight intelligent, or poweful magic are what she is looking for. I.E. Vulcan, Romulans, Detazoid, Dogon,Dragons, The Ood Main Brain, Time Lords and Pony unicorn and Alicrons. Oh! Shining Armor, how the Borg queen would more than likely love to get her hooves on you and make you her love slave."
Princess Cadance stood even closer to her mate, to show that they were together, and to give him mock protection.
Princess Celestia then said. "How do you fight a hive mind, Time Turner? What plan do you have?"
Time Turner sort of bobbed his head around and then said. "We picked up a ghost. And, like most ghost, it knows more than it is telling us. All we need to do is talk to this ghost and see what he has to say. After that, we can make a much better plan."
With that the TARDIS crew took their places at the center controls. Octavia started to scan the TARDIS, looking for energy pulses. Once she was sure that she had found one she nodded to Time Turner.
claping his hooves together, Time Turner said. "Brilliant! Now lets start feeding the ghost some EM energy to see if we can make it manafest, and have a little commutation."
With the help form the Alicorn Princess, EM energy filled the air.
Ditzy Doo then said. "I not sure this is a good plan, Doctor. I mean, the last time the ghost sort of want to try and talk to me. I realy don't want to talk to something that should be dead."
Time Turner comforted his mate. "I am right hear, and it my not be something dead. It could be a less than powerful psychic being. That is tring to contact all of us. But, just happen to get to your first. Also, the ghost talk to Discord the last time."
Before Ditzy Doo could make a stronger objection. Vinyl shouted. "OH WOW! I hear something coming over the speakers!" Octavia conformed Vinyls reading. and just behind Ditzy Doo, form out out of thin air, was a man.
He looked stressed to the point of dieing. His eye seem so sad. His voice came over the speakers. "My sins are to grate, and the judgment upon me is fair. I give you the last gift I can. My love. You will have to be strong for your night morther for she will bear the teaching and reject it after. Be her first child. My love."
The ghost seem to weep then in a braking voice. "Derpy, Dinky and Time Turner. You must be strong as the first family of the night. And, now my time is spent. Soon, I must go into the void. Stay in this place, but go back one galaxy." With that the life seem to go out of the human and all sine of him vanished.
Big Macintosh shook his head. "Stay in place but go back one galazy? What does that mean?
Time Turner put his head down. He thought about the words he had just hear. "With a TARDIS, Big Mac. You must reminder, time and space is relative. The galaxies are moving, thou so very slowly away from each other. We are standing in the right place, but in the wrong time and galaxy. The right time and place was in the past when there was another galaxy was in this spot. And, if I am right that woudl have been the Triangulum Galaxy-M33.
Applejack, wept a little as she said good-bye to her big brother, Big McIntosh. She advised him. "Now. You reminder, that we need you back at Sweet Apple Acers. If you get yourself hurt, then you can not buck apples. And, no pony can buck apples like you. Not even me. And, I do not want to do your chores. Do you hear what I am say to you?"
"Yep." Said Big McIntosh, fighting back his own tears
It was more than Applejack could stand, and she had to ran away. Tears streaming down her face. Raindow Dash took off after Applejace to comfort her.
Apple Bloom was next to say her good-bye to her big brother. She was more up beat about her Big McIntosh new adventure. "You take care of yourself. And, the Whoove family. I like Miss Derpy a lot and Time Turner is real nice too. I and the other Cutie Mark Crusaders will look after Dinky for them."
Apple Bloom hugged Big Mac, and then stood back. To watch Granny Smith say her good-bye.
Granny Smith smile and cry just a little as she looked at Big McIntosh. "Now. You behave yourself Mac. That, Time Turner pony seems to know what he is doing." *Sniff* "Why do you seem so young right now? Oh, why can I not see how big and strong you have become. I only see my little colt grandchild. I want you to be safe." The two of them hugh for a long time. Then Granny Smith kiss Big McIntosh on his cheek. Then they let go of each other.
On another part of the field, Derpy and Time Turner were having a hard time saying good-bye to Dinky Doo. She was crying, and asking over and over. "Why can't I go with you. I want to be with my mommey and daddy." At last the lies about long trips and friends needing her help did little good. The truth was all three of them knew that this qeust was very dangers and this could be the last time they would be together as a family. Before long, Derpy had to ask Princess Twilight to hold Dinky Doo as she and Time Turner walked away to board the TARDIS.
Dinky sob and cry out for her mother and farther. Fear of never seeing them again wash over her young mind only adding to her grief. At last Princess Celestia came over to Dinky Doo. The large Alicorn lay down next to where Dinky and Twilight sat. Softly weeping Princess Celestia confessed to Dinky Doo. "My heart is also braking, my little pony. My only sister is also going on the quest. She is now part of the TARDIS crew. They are very brave ponies, for they are going on a quest to save our home from the evil monsters that took it away form us. So, I beg you to weep with me and let us comfort each other. For I miss my sister Luna already." Dinky Doo hugged Princess Celestia as hard as she could, as they watched the door of the TARDIS close. The sound of the ripping and tearing of time and space could be head and the TARDIS slipped away into nothing.
The Bajor Major looked on as the TARDIS vanished. He then looked to Shining Armor. The Major then said. "We must be ready if they fail in this quest. We know the Borg are hard to fight. What can your soldiers do?" Shining Armor put on his best warrior face and said. "Let us show you what ponies are capable of."
Just then the sound of time and space being ripped apart once more filled the air. The TARDIS was returning. Ponies started to cheer. For most surely the quest had been completed. Why would they return so soon.
Dinky Doo was the first at the TARDIS doors. But, it was defiant pony that jumped out of the blue box. He said. "Hello! I'm the Doctor."
The TARDIS crew were all very quite as the time and space ship, compressed time into a smaller and smaller ball.
Big McIntosh then had to ask. "How dangers is this quest, Time Turner?"
The reply was less that fantastic, as Time Turner said. "I wish I knew Big Mac. In truth all I can think of right now is our little Dinky Doo and her sad little face. I am trying to feed into my rage at what the Borg has taken form us, but all I see is my sweet little Dinky."
"Oh, Muffin." Said Ditzy Doo in a soft voice.
Octavia dry her own eyes. "MY mother was very upset when I told her that I was part of the crew."
Vinyl Scratch put her hove down hard upon the floor. "At lest you all have someone waiting for you when you get back. I am alone in this mess. No pony will miss me at all if I don't come back."
With that Vinyl broke down and started to sob. Octavia went over to Vinyl and try to comfort her but Vinyl pulled away. "NO! I do not deserve -- I mean -- OH! Octavia!!!" With that Vinyl raped her front legs around Octavia and the two of them sob.
At last Octavia brushed Vinyl's mane, and then softly spoke. "it's Okay. I right hear. You know full well you are not alone. Just look at us. You can just tell the Universe wants us to be together. After all what do I know about space ships and time machines? I am Octavia Melody, the Cellist not the Sciences Officer for a TARDIS. However I am your friend. That all I want to be right now."
Princess Luna then asked. "Time Turner, is there some way we can all see out side the TARDIS at one time? There is something I need to do. And, I think it well help if the other, if they wish to join in."
Time Turner looked at Princess Luna with some confusion. "We have a force field around the TARDIS, so all we have to do is open the doors. But, what do you need to do?"
Princess Luna walked to the TARDIS doors, her head held as high as she could. "When I was banished to the moon, and the Nightmare Moon would torment me. I would look out into space and in my strongest voice I would recall who I was."
Using her magic, Princess Luna open the TARDIS doors wide and called out. "Stars of the deep night! Hear me! I am Luna Victorious Equestria! Keeper of our moon, of dreams, and the mother to the Children of the Night. Hear me! We are on a quest to save our home. Hear me and remember my name for I will not go quiet into the forgotten void."
Big McIntosh went and stood next to Princess Luna. He also called out into the Universe "Hear what I got to say, out there! I am Big McIntosh of Sweet Apple Acres! I will not let my family down. I will fight to keep them safe and happy! I ant' going with out a fight. Yep!"
"Ya YA!" shouted Vinyl even before she got to the doors. "I am the DJ Pon3! Best mix master in the world! And I do not do quiet at all! So take that you big bunch of nothing!"
Octavia stood next to Vinyl. "I am Cellist first chair, Octavia Melody. Friend and lover of Vinyl. I will not go quietly into the void."
Derpy did not go to the door but looked at Time Turner, with she sweet smile and wall eyes. "I am Derpy 'Ditzy Doo' Whooves. Mother to Dinky Doo, and wife to Time Turner 'The Doctor' Whooves. And I will not go quietly into the void."
Time Turners eyes looked back to Derpy. Almost as if he was looking into her soul. "I am Time Turner the pony. I am the Doctor, last of the Time Lords. I was born on the plant Gallifrey in the constellation of Dasterbornus. I live on the plant Equestria with my loving family. The fantastic wife, Derpy. and my child Dinky Doo. I'm nine hundred three years old. I'm part of a TARDIS crew that is going to save five billion ponies, and our home world. MY home world. And I will not go quietly into the void!"
Just as Time Turner finished, the TARDIS shook, and a voice came over the speakers. "This is TIE fighter 1977, call sine 'Bad Wolf' you are to fall into our formation. I repeat this is TIE fighter 'Bad Wolf' of the Galactic Empire. You will fall into our formation and be escorted to the Super Star Destroyer 'Executor'. Do you copy?"
Vinyl ran back to her place at the center controls, as did all the other ponies. She then asked. "What do I tell them, Time Turner?"
"That we copy and comply." Said Time Turner in a even happy voice.
Big McIntosh look over to Time Turner and asked. We are not going to fight or run?"
Time Turner's eyes were open wide as he looked to his friends, saying. "There are alternates to fighting, but look for yourselves. Just out the door way."
The Crew once more look out the open doors of the TARDIS and were all in shock at what they saw. Time Turner then added "My enemies, enemy is my friend. Whoever can make a Borg cube into a spoil of war is someone we need to talk too."
Out in void of space a number of Tech 4 Plexus Droid vessels. They were taking apart a Borg cube under the protection of a number of War Ships. The Death Squadron and the Executor of the Imperial Navy.
Ditzy looked over once more to Time Turner and said. "Bad Wolf."
Time Turner nodded his head. "We are in danger, but I got a plan in place to get away if we need too. However they have information wee need. We have to go along."
The landing bay of the Executor (SSD) was massage. Holding 144 TIE fighter ships. And large number of uniformed humans as the crew. However when Time Turner step out of the door of the TARDIS, all he could say was. "Oh. Well---I am sorry but I have seen much better."
However Octavia, Vinyl, and Big McIntosh stood with mouths open wide. The more experienced Princess Luna, Ditzy Doo, and Time Turner started taking notes of the landing bay. Each pointing out the clean up of dead Borg. The number of men in white Storm Trooper uniforms and where they were in the room. The sort of weapons they had. The first aid medical care that some were getting. One battle had taken place on board this ship. But the question remained, how did these people stop the Borg where others had failed.
At last a man came into the landing bay that seem to make the air in the large room turn cold. Workers stop what they were doing as the man came near them. Not out of respect, but out of pure fear. Then once he had pass by they would return to their job, at the double quick.
Just behind the man were two other people that were dress as officers, each holding a computer tablet.
The first thing that stood out about the lead man was he was dress in all black. Even a black face plated armor and helmet, with a flowing black cape. Once he came nearer the ponies, did the small group see a small computer like chest plate.
It was at this point that Time Turner said to Ditzy Doo. "Tell the other to think of something other than our mission, or our home."
Ditzy called Octavia, Vinyl, and Big Mac together. With a smooth but alarmed voice Ditzy told the others. "Okay. This guy that is coming over to us is some sort of metaphysical mind reader. And, as you can tell, nether Time Turner or Princess Luna trust this guy. So, we don't want to endanger our family and friends by giving him to much information. So, Think of one thing. Like music, or just apples. Focus on that one thing only."
At last the tall man dress in all black armor, stood before the ponies of the TARDIS crew. He said as a respirator breathed for him. "I am Lord Darth Vader. I represent the Galactic Emperor Lord Palpatine master of the Sith. Who are you?"
Time Turner smile and went into an old song and dance act that he had polished for years, by saying. "Hello! I'm the Doctor. Call me Time Turner. And this is The Princess Luna. And, we see that you have been in a little bit of a fight with a group called the Borg. Just asking, mind you, how did that go for you good folk?"
Vader looked down upon Time Turner. The machine like voice was angry in tone. "Do not toy with me, Doctor. I can see though your deception. You are not the fool you pretend to be. I sense you are powerful in the ways of the Force, and you will not be turned to the dark side. However, you are simple to brush aside." Vader breathing seem to deepen. "Two of your crew members, I find interring. I wish to know them better."
Time Turner keep up his act." Well---That is a little hurtful. I am not 'interring'. Mind you back home there are a number of worlds that the name 'The Doctor' send folk running away."
Vader came closer to Time Turner. "You are letting me feel your rage. You are letting me know that you will protect your crew at all cost. You think that by show me your anger that I will be afraid. Your power is great, but I am not weak."
Time Turner smile. "That is your weakness alright. You are afraid of being weak. You have to be the one in control."
Time Turner all but danced next to one of the uniformed officers that were holding a computer tablet. "You know. I had hands at one time." Time Turner. then pushed the officer with with a flank shove. Forcing the officer to drop his tablet. "I had no clue how to use hooves with I became an earth pony. But, I found out we have magic and can work things around." Time Turner pick up the computer tablet. "Let me show you. After a bit of time, I sort of like hooves far better than hands."
Before Time Turner could start to work the computer tablet, Vader smashed it by using the Force. Time Turner look over to Lord Vader, he said. "I see you are not going to fall for my; 'The Doctor is just acting silly ploy'. I really like that ploy. I have used it for years. And I really really like that ploy a lot."
Once more Vader came close to Time Turner, he folded his arms. "The Misdirection ploy is a valuable military tactic."
Just then Time Turner hear Ditzy shout. "Get in the TARDIS!" Vader blocked Time Turner's view so he could not see what made Ditzy give the order to run. But, he was happy to know that she knew that the TARDIS was the safest place to retreat too. She was the smartest companion he had ever had in that respect. Time Turner was so happy that she was his some pony special.
It was only then that Time Turner saw the dark set of wings coming up form behind Lord Vader. "The down fall of the misdirection ploy is that you must half way believe the ploy yourself. And it takes time to make believe. Time your adversary has to find your weakest link and explode it. Now I have one of the two ponies that I find fascinating."
Time Turner then cried out: "NO! Princess Luna! No!"
"Princess Luna?" The voice sounded so evil. "Princess Luna is weak. Letting herself be lead around by her tyrant sister Celestia. Forgotten by lesser ponies." The dark Alicorn took flight. "Once more I take to the skies. For I have seen the endless night of space. I feel the power of the void. I am the night! I AM NIGHTMARE MOON!"
Derpy saw what Time Turner was up to. He had pull off this horse and pony show before. But, when Vader stop looking at Time Turner and focus on Princess Luna. Derpy knew something bad was going to happen, and so told the other to make a run for the open door of the TARDIS.
Once, Derpy, was sure most of the crew was safe, she started handing out orders. "Okay, Time Turner is in trouble. Nothing new about that, but Princess Luna is also in truble. Vinyl, Time Turner is still going to get his hooves on one of thous computer tablet. He going to send the history of the Borg attack to the TARDIS. He going to need you to make a copy for download. You stand by your stations and be ready to work fast. Big Mac, make sure the TARDIS is ready to fly away the second we get Princess Luna and Time Turner back inside. Make sure the force shields are at full power. Octavia, you will find a cello in the music room. Please get ready to play. I need to find my mail bag."

Upon seeing Princess Luna had transform into Nightmare Moon, Time Turner made a mad dash to the next officer with a computer tablet. The two officer saw Time Turner coming and started to run away. However, ponies are just faster runners that humans. With a quck spin kick, Time Turner land both of his back hooves the back of one of the escaping men. Knocking the two of them together and make the last one dorp his computer tablet. Keeping his eyes on the small computer, Time Turner started to make a run for his prize, but not before he could reach it, the Nightmare Moon cut him off.
She spread her wings out and power up her horn. With a evil grain she asked the little Time Lord Pony. "And where do you think your going?"
Time Turner simple put is hoof up to his face and shook his head. "Oh, my dear, Nightmare Moon, you do know that line is older than I am. Tell me, does becoming evil dry up all original thought?"
Vader closed in on the other side of Time Turner. He spoke to Nightmare Moon. "Do not lesson to the Doctor. For he will only take away your power. Do you not feel the power of the Dark side of the Force flowing thou you?"
However Nightmare Moon lower her head, as if she was in pain. "I feel. I feel the power that you are giving me, but she is much stronger now. She is fighting me." Then Luna voice come from Nightmare Moon's mouth. "I will not got quite into the void."
Hope filled Time Turner's eyes. "Princess Luna? Fight! Let me tell all you this. One of the wisest and most tormented souls I have ever knew once said, 'You can't make a weak man strong by making a strong man weak'. Now that man save a nation in his life time, and that nation, The United State of America save the Earth. And the Earth in turn save the Universe a few times. That man save my life, and by grandchild's soul. He freed a lot of people, but he die way to young. that is a man I can never fully repay for all the good he did for me. And all the good he still does for all of us. So! When I say Abraham Lincoln was not a quitter and would not have given up. Then by the Hightest of Powers in the Universe it self, you best believe me."
As the Time Lord Pony talked, the Sith Lord walked up slowly to him. Give Nightmare Moon as much Dark Force power as she need to turn her in a Sith Alicorn. Vader charged his light saber to strike down Time Turner, and keep him form helping Princess Luna.
Vader war ready to simply decapitate the little pony problem, and as he drew back his arm to finish Time Turner. Derpy 'Ditzy Doo' Whooves flew over the top of Vader and kicked his helmet, knocking him back.
Derpy then landed between Time Turner and Nightmare Moon. She said. "Take care of bucket brains, I got Nightmare Moon."
Time Turner only response. "Oh I do love you Dtizy Doo! Allons-Y!" As Time Turner went after the Dark Lord.
Derpy look to Nightmare Moon. Derpy then brush back her yellow mane, Derpy saying. "Have you ever noticed that boys only say they love you, when they are getting to do something they like to do?"
Now Derpy 'Ditzy Doo' face down the Nightmare Moon. The wall eyed Pegasus brush back her golden main. Nightmare Moon only smiled, showing her fangs, and asked. "How do you intend to defeat me?"
Ditzy Doo only sat down on her haunches and open her mail bag. She then pulled out a paper bag that she then placed on her head. "The same way I defeat you last time. Only, I don't think I truely defeated you as much as I made Princess Luna feel like she was loved. And that gave her the power to defeat you if only for one night."
Ditzy Doo then turned to right and waved her hoof. "Okay Octavia! You may start playing. Please."
Nightmare Moon looked over to the TARDIS. Standing at the opne door way was Octavia Melody, with a cello. Octavia drew the bow slowly over the strings and started singing.
“Come, little children, I'll take thee away Into a land of enchantment Come, little children, the time's come to play Here in my garden of shadows”
Nightmare Moon eyes went wide. Then she turned back to look at Ditzy Doo, who had gotten a soap bubble blower and was making little bubbles.
“Follow, sweet children, I'll show thee the way Through all the pain and the sorrows Weep not, poor children, for life is this way Murdering beauty and passions.”
The memories started to flood back into Nightmare Moons mind. Back to a Nightmare Night, not along ago. Nightmare Night was the one night each year when Celestia's powers were to weak to keep Luna impersoned on the Equestria moon. On that Nightmare Night, the Nightmare Moon had returned to find a little Pegasus colt crying at the foot of her shrine.
To keep nightmares away, colts would give up candy to the Nightmare Moon at her shrine. However this foolish little colt came with no gifts or offerings. The Nightmare Moon would teach that little filly.
Hush now, dear children, it must be this way Too weary of life and deceptions Rest now, my children, for soon we'll away Into the calm and the quiet.
There was still a small part of Princess Luna still deep inside Nightmare Moon, who gave the little colt one chance to give up a gift. The little colt with a paper bag on her head sniffed. Said that she was sorry, and then started blowing bubbles and singing songs. Then went so far as to ask if Nightmare Moon needed a hug.
The little pony had been pick on by her friends, but that she would be alright. It seem to the little colt that Nightmare Moon need a hug more than she did.

Princess Luna looked out, as the Nightmare Moon was fading way. With out Vader's dark powers feeding into Nightmare Moon, Derpy's love and kindness took over. Tears started to run down Princess Luna's face. "My little pony. It was you all those years ago. Oh how I miss you. I never forgot, but I had given up all hope of ever meeting you again."
Ditzy Doo smiled at Princess Luna. "You still seem to me like you need a hug."They embraced, Derpy saying "I never thanked you for helping me get my cutie mark that night. See, Seven bubbles. You are the best pony, your highness."
A near by crash ended the magic between the two friends. Time Turner then called out. "Welcome back Luna, but could you two girls sort of move things along a little faster? Get that computer tablet and then help me with his guy. That light sword of his can cut though most every thing I throw at him. And, my sonic screwdriver is starting to over heat!"
Seeing that Dtizy Doo and Princess Luna were alright. Octavia charge in, banging Lord Vader in the face with her new found cello. The string instrument then stay where Octavia hit Vader. Before the dark Lord could remove the stuck cello form his face plate and recover. Both Derpy and Luna were flying over his head and stooped down with their hooves up Vader's head. As they attacked, Derpy dropped the computer tablet into Time Turner hoof. At once he started to down load the Borg history into the TARDIS computer system.
Vinyl then got all the information and shouted out the open door. "Got it! Now get back in hear and lets go!"
With that Time Turner and Octavia both gave Vader one last good double team back hooves kick and Ditzy and Luna did the same once more to his head.
It was only then that a sergeant of the storm troopers came into the room and screamed. "What are you doing? Blast them!" The storm troopers had not been given an order to stop the ponies before this moment. And, in truth, they were enjoying watching Lord Vader getting his butt kick by a group of ponies. Almost Literally. But, now that the order had been given, blaster gun fire filled the air.
The storm trooper sergeant ran to Lord Vader to give him aid. Once he saw the Vader was not dead, the sergeant drew his own weapon and started to open fire. Unlike the other storm troopers, the sergeant shots were true and if Princess Luna had not gotten just inside the force shield, she would have been killed.
Lord Vader looked on at the TARDIS as it started to slip way. The Force was telling him that the one names Derpy was something more that what she seemed. That she was a grater prize than even the Borg cube.
Returning to his feet, with some help form the storm trooper sergeant, exited the landing bay. He knew that time travel was beyond the technology of the empire. But, that was only for the moment.
The TARDIS was on it way once more. Time Turner was the last one inside, before the doors closed, and the time and space ship took off. The crew all took a deep breath. Then looked to each other and made sure they were each alright.
Once they were sure each pony was safe, they started to rejoice. Laughing, hugging and even kiss one another. They had gotten what they had come for and ever Pony made it out of the Executor (SSD) alive. For the crew of the TARDIS there was no grater victory then every pony living.

After a short time the crew walked into something that looked like a movie theater. Each of them found a set in front of a wide screen and a projector came down from the ceiling.
Octavia was more than a little confused. She asked. "Time Turner, it is not that I do not enjoy a good film form time to time, but do you think this is the best time to take in a movie?'
Time Turner took a set next to Derpy. "Well," he said. "This is not a real movie. This is the information form that computer tablet. The information is in the form of a flight data recorder video commutation. That information will show us how the storm troopers defeated the Borg drones. It just easier to watch on a big screen."
Each pony found a set and Time Turner turn down the lights using his sonic screwdriver.
As the video started, the start did not look to good for the Imperial storm troopers. The video show a small transport ship being over run by the Borg. Then one of the Star Destroyer encountered the Borg Cube. With the same effect, the storm troopers had never seen transport energy beaming before, so it was very easy for the Borg to get up close and infect the storm troopers with an injection of nana-probes.
Time after time the Borg capture storm troopers and turn them into Borg slaves. Then the Super Star Destroyer Executor came into view. Hear thing changed. But, not with the storm troopers, they were still being taken over. But, once Darth Vader entered the battle the tide turned. His light saber cut thought what ever personal shielding the Borg had. Using the Force, Vader could simply wipe out most all the Borg drones with a single hand wave.
Vader clear out and retook the captured star ships all on his own. Then he went over to the Borg Cube to confront the Borg on their own ship.
Vinyl asked in a screaming voice. "Hold it! When that dark guy uses that light sword thing work so well against the Borg, but the guys in white armor and blaster guns get pwn-e every time?"
Time Turner replied. "Well, I can tell you this much. That light sword has an empathetic telepathic connection with good old Darth. Now the storm troopers guns are just guns. Once you find the power setting on a gun you can make a shield to counter the fire power of the weapon. But, the empathetic telepathic light sword weapon is linked with the users thoughts and emotions. You never have the same thoughts or feeling twice in a row, if every. There for, you can never have the same power out put setting on an empathetic telepathic weapon."
Vinyl then looked to Derpy. "What he say?"
Derpy said. "The more upset the bad guy gets, the stronger his sword becomes. To strong for the Borg to keep up with." As she munched on a muffin that she had hidden inside her mail bag.
Looking like the rug had been pulled out from under him Time Turner added. "It was all that my poor sonic screwdriver could do to keep up with Vader in that fight. Oh by the way." Time Turner turned on Octavia "Thank you, for banging old Darth Vader in the face with the cello. You save my life back there."
Octavia blush a little. "You are welcome. But, I am sorry very sorry about the loss of the cello. It was the most - sexy - cello I have ever played."
Derpy rounded her hoof clean on a napkin she found in her bag, before giving Octavia a little hug. "Don't worry. I sure we can find you a new cello. And, you can play for all of us when ever you wish." Derpy then turn to Time Turner and asked. "By the way when did the TARDIS make a music room for us?"
With out thinking Big McIntosh said. "Oh she did that a few days ago. She hoping Dinky will take up music."
All eyes set upon Big McIntosh. Feeling the gaze he said. "Umm? That what she told me?"
Vinyl then side as a twisted joke. "I would tell you two to get a room, if she was not already a room herself."
Wanting to get off the topic of Big McIntosh and the TARDIS having some sort of fling, Time Turner said. "Right! At this point in the movie. Looks like Darth is going into something that looks like the main command bridge of the Borg cube. Could we look at that?"
Up on the screen, Darth Vader walks into the bridge. He starts looking over the control boards, as a set of double doors open up on the far side of the room. The doors were part of a stasis pod that held a Borg body, but this body was not the same as the Borg drones. It was a woman with a far more thought given to beauty.
Time Turner looked at the screen then to Vinyl. "Can you clean up the sound a little bit more. I don't want to miss a word."
Getting onto a computer work station, Vinyl cut out as much back ground sounds as she could and pumped up the voices.
--- Vader: "Who are you?" Borg: "I am Borg. I am the queen if you like." Vader: "What do you want?" Borg: "I want to achieve perfection." Vader: "I too work for perfection." Borg: "Become one with me and we can become perfect."
The Borg queen and Vader draw near to each other. But almost at once the Borg queen pulls back.
Borg: "NO! I must be the one. The only one, in control. You must submit to my will. I am your queen." Vader: "There is no will other that the Force. Only the Banite Sith. There is only the power of the dark side. You will submit to the master of the Sith." Borg: "NO!"
With that the Borg queen body went limp and the ship started to go dark. ----
Time Turner shouted. "Vinyl! stop the movie." The screen comes to a stand still. Then Time Turner askes. "Make that part of the picture bigger. The part with all the computer monitors."
Vinyl did as she was asked. "What do you see?"
Time Turner sum it up. "Darth Vader was more powerful that the Borg queen. When she saw that Darth was going to take over the Borg hive mind by shear will power alone. She ran away."
Vinyl cock her head to one side. "No, she lay pass out on the floor."
Princess Luna explained. "No. She is dead. She can remove her life force form one robot body to the next. When the body is in danger, the queen simply lets the old body die and reanimate in a new one."
Time Turner that added. "It is worse that that. Take a look at the Borg drones. With out the Borg queen's will driving them, that are lost. There are in a total supper hive mind. Her will and her will alone."
"But." Big McIntosh said. "No one mind could hope to control all of the univers ."
Time Turner voice took on a sad tone. "It never stops the evil or the insain from trying. I have seen it so very, very often in my life times. Look she, see, she had even turn off the commander Borg, out of fear that Vador could use them. She believe in the Scorched Earth military strategy."
Princess Luna then said. "Take over the mind of just one Borg and you control of all the Borg, but she will kill all the Borg before she lets just one of them go?"
Time Turner smile. "PARTY TIME!" As he clopped his hooves together.
The Borg cube hung over the badlands of Equestria. Queen Chrysalis was barking out order to her changeling army. Both sides of the battle were having a hard time. The Borg drones did not have emotions for the changeling to feed off of, and the Borg could not tell who was Borg or a transformed chaneling. The battle and actions of the TARDIS made the Borg queen curses. She decided to manifest into her Borg body, in the Equestria cube, to have a closer look at both battle and the planet of Equestira.
As the Borg queen set out of her stasis pod and started to interact with the Borg computer, the sound of the TARDIS started to fill the air. Once upon landing, Time Turner steep out and pointed his sonic screwdriver at the Borg queen. In a commanding voice Time Tunrner said. "Okay. I am going to give you this one and only chance to get away from me. If I were you I would run and run now. Because this is my home and I am sick of bullies trying to push others about."
The Borg queen sashaied close to the TARDIS. She asked in a sexy voice. "Is this the strange blue box that ran away from me and my Borg drones? It has great technological distinctiveness it should be perfect. It should be assimilated."
Time Turner replied. "She is perfect, just the way she is. See, the best part of the type 40 TARDIS is that it has free will. The old girl may not always take me where I want to go, but my sexy TARDIS always takes me where I need to be.
The Borg queen smile. "But, if all of time and space were perfect, then there would be no need to go off and save the day. No need for heroes for ther would be no monsters. The worlds would be at peace."
Time Turner rolled his eyes, and slung his head about to show his disgusted. "Do you know the number of times I have heared that same old logic. Peace at the cost of freedoom. But, who are you to be the one and only person to see peace? The only one to feel? Every pony sould feel love and hate. Happy and sad. They should make the chose on what makes them feel good or bad. Yes mistakes are made, but that is how ponies learn and live."
The Borg queen smile and walked to a drone. "This one wanted to die. He was so sick when I found him. Is it not better to take his pain way?"
Time Turner clear his throat. "Death is a part of living. I think a part of you die a long time ago. The part that would feel bad about making poor souls like him your slave. So, you made him live, but what sort of life does he have?"
The borg queen smile wide and then said. "Well, maybe you should try and kill me and see how far you going in stopping the assimilation. You can not stop perfection."
Time Turner put down his sonic screwdriver. "No need. You lost. See, you highness queen Borg, you should have run away when you the chance."
The Borg queen looked confused. Time Turner went on. "Your last boyfriend, Darth, told me that my favorit ploy was old hat, but it worked so well on you. See, you have a hive mind. Control one Borg and you got all the Borg. Now you more than likely hear the Borg hive in your mind all the time. It is sort of like a big party. Now if you want to talk to just one pony at that party, you have to close out the noise around you and focus just that one pony. That one pony would be me. I bet you never even head the other TARDIS landing in the assimilation chambers where you keep the children. The children of all the conquered races of being that were to young to work. I am sure that Princess Luna has won them over with her singing. See, she has a soft spot for orphans, and she helps give them good dreams. She blocks out nightmares. Your nightmares, my dear Borg queen. And, like I said, once you get one Borg on your side, you got all the Borg drones."
The Borg queen mind turned form the little pony time lord to her Borg song. The Borg song that she sang was gone, and a new song was being song.

The Borg queen looked at Time Turner. She smile once more. "I will be back." She then try to cut the link to the Borg cube, but found she could not. In fact she could not move at all.
Time Turner got out his screwdrive once more, and walk over to the Borg queen. "Oh I must have forgeten to tell you that I up the power output of the Federation Starship Defiant's tractor beam. Well, in truth, I did a little more than up the power output, but lets just say that you are not going home untill I wipe out all records of Equestria and the Federation from you big Borg brain."
The Borg queen screamed. "I will find you again. You will pay for this."
Time Turner just smile as he worked on the Borg queens head. "Well. -- I have hear that before. I asked this once today, but maybe you can tell me. Does being evil just dry up all original thoughts?"

The Borg queen open her eyes. Her Borg drones were singing. But it was a new song. She hated the new song. At once she started a hunt on where this new song came form, only to find a big block of her time line had been deleted. The queen had to get every thing back to normal. It would take time, but the Borg queen would find out what happen to her missing time and information. She would become the goddess of all the Milky Way.
