Human in Equestria Just got out of the theater. Initial impressions:
This was awesome! It did everything right in the same way that the 2009 Star Trek movie did, with lots of references and in-jokes, a well-designed plot, sweet animations, and an explanation for the awkwardness that didn't mess up the canon. Semi-spoiler: it's not earth, just a weird alternate dimension with humans, and they all have pony names.
But it did have the most awkward, most out of place Wilhelm scream in history.
If I had one complaint, I wanted to see more background humans that corresponded to background ponies. Where's Derpy? Where's Lyra?
I may write more later, but if you put any stock in my opinion, go see it now.

Heya Pjabrony. Just a quick one here. Do you plan to bring out the next chapter of Derpy's Human at the 25th or 26th? because I think putting it up at the 26th you could make it an anniversery chapter where Karyn and Derpy celebrate being friends for one year now.

No, not the greatest, but the proof is in the pudding. It's like you said on ASB, that writing to multiple emotions is the only way you know how to write. That's a good instinct, that I don't have. If I can do it, so much the better, but mainly I stick to one mood. So that's one thing I need to learn.

You're the second person today to call me a master or treat me like I'm suddenly the greatest author this fandom has ever seen. Please don't. I'm just some guy who writes pony fics. I'm happy to give advice or encouragement but if you really do want to be my friend (and I hope you do) the best way to do it is to never, ever treat me like I'm better than you, or any other author.
