After seeing your new fic, I just couldn't help myself. I find it appropriate on many levels.
It looks like you took He-man, Conan the barbarian, God of War, Lord of the Rings, and MLP, put them in a blender on the low power setting, and then force-fed it into your CPU.

To enhance Connor's angry attitude, he just witnessed his own husk, been taken away from his family once again, and found out that he was hexed without realizing it. Feeling distraught from all of that along with the thought that he never had a chance to say goodbye to his family and friends, he was devastated, brewing also frustration toward Celestia for not letting him know about it. To abridge it, he was so mentally disturbed and distraught, that he had lost his sense of reasoning and patience.
