I've read at least four or five renditions of the wedding by now. While I can't say this is the best one (because I'd have to read one right after the other to be able to make any fair comparisons), it definitely has the best grammar

That was good but really long. It's only a shame that there weren't more power ballads in the fic, power ballads seem to fit the tone of a wedding. Also I was expecting Connor to fight Chrysalis using the power of rock. (The following would have been awesome)
Connor whips out a guitar and let's out a solid riff for a minute and a half.
Chrysalis: "GAHHH!!!! YOUR ARENA ROCK SKILLS ARE TOO POWERFUL!!!!" The shear force of his rocking tears a whole in the fabric of time and space and brings in Andrew Stockdale from Wolfmother, Andy Ghosh from Turbowolf, Phil Lynott from Thin Lizzy and Duane Allman from The Allman Brothers band from across the universe and back from the dead. They join in and through the power of the their combined awesomeness defeat the queen of the changelings as they take a super sentai pose.

I've seen quite a few royal wedding stories, but never one from this perspective (with not going with Twilight and all that). Cool beings brah!

I have to admit. Normally, I dislike this particular scenario. In most cases like this, the author haves his/her particular OC featured in an official scene, then he/she plays it out with little to no changes. The OC is presented with his or her own little quirks and little interactions s/he has with everyone else, but in the end, it's just the same song and dance from start to finish. I can see a bit of that in this particular story as well, considering everything ended exactly as it would in the official episode and whatnot.
But other than that, there's not really much to nitpick about. The particular scenes in where humor is involved are done in a manner that just demands that I laugh about it. Attempting to use Rarity as a Gatling gun only to get slapped? Taking the queen's boasting and turning it upside-down on its head? There was never a moment in which I stopped smiling in those particular scenes. Not to mention that extra non-funny bits such as the fight between Connor and Chrysalis as well as that bit with Fluttershy were interesting cherries to this particular cake. I also thank you for skipping scenes that would've just been scenes in the episode paraphrased on paper. The only real things I can complain besides the one I put up top is how you had Chrysalis speak (that was not easy for me to read!).
Thumbs up to you for the work. You've certainly earned it.
