Over the past fifteen months, I've managed to save about 200 $. I think I'm going to use it to purchase a Chromebook that I found at a local retailer. It'll allow me to use Google Drive (my preferred writing platform), and it will free me from this ancient, loaner netbook that I'm currently using.

Just logged in for the first time in, like, forever. Apparently, Knighty rolled out a major upgrade of the site while I was away. Has anyone else been having issues viewing their stories in "card mode?" (see screenshot at bottom)

In other news, I haven't been writing for a few months, because I have no computer. :( Mine died, and I can't afford another one.

This is just a quick note to anyone unfortunate enough to be watching my account.

The good news: I've finally found a full-time job. The bad news: it's a contract job that's slated to end in February. In the meantime, I get to commute for up to four hours per day in awful rush-hour traffic and inclement weather conditions (e.g., heavy snow and ice). Seriously, it's snowed at least three inches every day for the past three weeks. Not fun driving.
