I think I got all the people I could with my fake cancellation, so I'll bring everything back to normal before I get too wrapped up in things tonight. Judging by a switched up vote and two people untracking the story, this may have worked a little too well. Wouldn't it be cool if I posted chapter 15 as an apology for freaking everyone out? Writing starts again on Monday due to mid-terms being over! Fenix, out!

I didn't want to write this, but I'm sorry to say that I must cancel Hoennshy. I know everyone was excited to see where it was going, but with school and work I simply don't have the time anymore. I'd like to thank everyone for all of their support over the past eight months, and I'm sorry that Fluttershy's Hoenn adventure must end here.

I truly apologize for this. I hope you all understand.

That's how many words are currently in chapter 14. If all goes well, the rough should be done tomorrow and editing can begin.

With the triumphant return of Hoennshy and a new image to christen its continued voyage, I'm dropping anchor and sailing it back into port for repairs. In basic terms, I'm rewriting the first chapter and letting my new and improved pre-reading team help spruce up the first eight chapters into the quality chapters nine, ten, and eleven had.

With mid-term week drawing to a close, Hoennshy will be coming back on Monday as I get back into my normal drawing/writing rhythm. I have really nothing really more to say about it, just look for an update sometime on Monday. If all goes according to plan, a new cover image should be finished up as well.

Sorry for taking so long.

In the next few weeks or so, mid-terms will be at my front door step. Its siren call will lull me to into a state of oil paint fueled delusions and deliver unto me the desire to stare at a monitor for hours on end, painting until my right arm falls off. Seeing as my journey to be a professional artist trumps My Little Pony fanfiction, I had no choice but to place 'Hoennshy' on hiatus until my schedule becomes anything less than insane.

Because I started college a few weeks ago, the output of 'Hoennshy' chapters will be slowed. I'm currently attending one college, and in a few weeks my second school will begin, leaving me with two colleges and part-time work load to deal with. I of course don't prioritize ponies over school work, so I just want readers to understand where the lack of chapters is coming from.
