What does the future hold for our brave adventurers? What caused these terrible events to take place? And where, exactly, are they?

At first she takes it as junk, but after the message appears in more than one place, she starts to think that it just might be more than some foal's prank. Who is the enigmatically named "John Smith", and why is it important that he open his pocket watch?

Author's Notes: Ok, firstly I LOVE the Doctor Whooves and Assistant and Doctor Whooves Adventures equally, but this is discontinuous with both of them. It is my own little invention, my own little world, starting completely from scratch. Hopefully, I do a good enough job to stand up with the big boys, but I'm not that expectant. I just hope that whoever DOES read this enjoys it thoroughly! Always remember to vote and comment, tell me what needs to be fixed and what you think! Be honest, but be fair, ok?

The forest is on fire: Can the village put it out alone, or will they need help?

Out of nowhere, the Princess sends a group of ponies to Ponyville preceded by a hasty note explaining that they have an important message for them. What could this message be, and why hasn't the Princess come herself?

NOTE: The prologue is only semi-related to the plot. It's a method I use to explain a large amount of complicated background so that it doesn't bog down the plot.

Discord the Draconequus may have been defeated when the Mane 6 wielded the Elements of Harmony, but when Twilight Sparkle starts having strange dreams where he taunts and attempts to bribe her, she starts to wonder if their most dangerous foe was truly defeated.

1000 years before FiM began, Princess Luna grew jealous of Princess Celestia, and so she refused to let the sun shine. She was stopped by Princess Celestia and imprisoned in the moon, but is that the whole story? Isn't it likely that the Elements of Harmony imprisoned Nightmare Moon in stone, like what happened to Discord?

I've heard many people joke about Celestia's overkill in sending her sister to the moon for 1000 years, but given the possible circumstances, I think there might be another reason she did what she did. After all, what sort of punishment do you think the other pony tribes called for for Nightmare Moon's crimes?
