Okay, 6 was written fast. It came out really quickly and i'm not sure how good it is. I'll let it sit for a while and reread it later.

Anyway, I promised that I've been building towards the action and chapter 6 begins the 'action' that i've been talking about so much. Feel free to critisize, I know somthing is wrong in there but i can't seem to put my hoof on it...

anyway, I can't wait to write 7. This had been a real leaning experience for me. and i'm enjoying every second of it.

As Alicorn's Pride stands on the cusp of breaking 2000 views I decided to re-read the whole thing myself and do my best to see what a new reader would. As I read one thing came forward in my mind. I realized that the prolouge is unnessicary and out of place. I am considering removing it, but until then i'll just continue to beg people to not judge the story by the beginning. I made multiple edits to chapter 2, and wrote about half of chapter 6 tonight, so look for my update soon.

A friend asked recently why i had the story labeled dark. He said "Sure, violence is alluded to, but apart from that fight scene with the wolf noone's fought yet."
Well with chapter six I plan on changing this. I can guarentee you that my reasons behind the dark tag will grow more and more apparent as time goes on. Bear with me, the story's only just starting.

Chapter five is finished, finally. I know it took forever, but between two school projects and soccer i've had ver little time to write recently. Now thaty it's done tjhough i 'm happy to say that i've written the longest chapter yet. the plot thickens, action happens, and a new character gets introduced. I dont know when the next one will be done, but pretty soon i'l have a week of free time. so between my time spent sleeping and swimming (I'm goint to the beach) I plan of writing some more.

I finally finished off Pride chapter 4 (Sorry it's shorter, i just wanted it to end in a specific way) and Tomorrow I'll start work on 5. A the pace i'm going I dont think i'm goint to make the month deadline. The 20th is already here and my story is only now getting to the cool parts, all that i've written so far has just been exposition and no action, but high action scenes are coming soon, i promise.

As i write chapter four of Pride, i realize that i've created a character i really like without planning him. I have a rough outline of the whole story, but the character Cliff was never a part of it, i in fact never even thought of him until i was already writing him in chapter 3.

I got chapter 2 of ALicorn's Pride posted (phew) and i made a realization.
i think i'm writing a Political drama, i asked a friend of mine to read the new chapter and he agreed.

it's kind of wierd because i was going for a high action adventure fic, but then again how many Pony Political Dramas are there? So i guess i can be happy with doing somthing new!
