Wow... I'm... I don't even know where to begin. Thanks are deffinatly in order. · 3:43pm Oct 14th, 2011
Okay... let me start by saying this to everypony who reads Pride. Thank you. Thank you so very much. I never would have thought that I'd write a story with 2000+ views, has a (as of right now) 5 star rating, and has (again, as of right now) 15 trackers. I never... I just... Wow.
So I started wondering how I could thank you guy, and I decided that the first way I could is to simply write more. As of this afternoon I'm free for almost a week, so in that time I hope to write at least two chapters, edit them (I never edit chapters pre-publishing them) and possibly make them longer than the others (Think 3000+ words).
Since I'm making this whole blog post for the group that seems to really like my little story I also decided to share the reason as to why I'm so suprised by the decent amount of success. This story began with one mission in mind. I wanted to see if I was capable of writing somthing of novel length. It was a story for me to practice my writing on, as story that I never planned on showing to anyone, a story that never was suppossed to see the light of day. Obviouly it did see the light of day, or else you wouldn't be reading it would you. Another fun fact about Pride is that the prolouge was not actually written for this story. It was in fact written as a short 800 word little story in itself as one of my early attempts to write a sadfic. Now I have edited it since then but the original is still laying around somewhere.
So, to all my readers I wanted to again say thank you.
Thank you to Ratmage99 for that awesome plug.
Thanks to Vimbert over on ponychan for the review. It was harsh and told me exactly what I was doing wrong, and I'm deffinatly better off for it.
Thanks to Eclipse for being the first pony to favorite it.
And thanks to everyone who is tracking it.
I now begin work on chapter seven and I hope to see this story through to the end.
