Okay, last night I posted a 1,300 word fic that I scraped together in an hour.

It now has 30 followers, 300+ views, 10 comments, and 3 favorites.
WOAH!

Okay, this story is staying, it's official. I shall continue my Scootalove... but not today... tomorrow or Monday will see me writing again.

As i'm writing Chapter 11 i'm finding something. I'm finding that writing this story is starting to bore me, and i cant seem to get the amount of words out as fast as i used to be able to. After an unsucessful session of trying to write something i eventually gave up and opened a new word document. Lo and belhold, the moment i start typing something new i'm getting words out much faster.

I feel the need to make a post because when I logged in today, i found that the views in parentheses on Alicorn's Pride (i dunno what that number means but anyway) had just broken 1,000!

I have no idea if that actually means anything or not, but I feel fufilled all the same and am annoucning that i'm resuming work on Pride. Chapter 11 will get it's firs words written once I finish writing this blog post.

Chapter 10 went live last week, I just forgot to make the blog post. I'm gearing up to start on 11 soon, but as i stated in the author notes, i'm on a bit of a break. I'm doing a lot of editing of late, that and reviewing. I'm enjoying all the reviewing, in fact I just finished reviewing a friend's fic that I didnt realized existed.

Anyway, short post. I just wanted to update and say that i'm alive and well, just resting my fingers from all the typing.

I've been doing a lot of fic stuff recentally. Writing chapter 10 alone is quite a lot, but you need to add to that my proofreading duties for This and the fact that i'm working on a SeCrEt PrOjEcT well... i'm kinda swamped.

Chapter 10 is currentally at 1600 words, so yeah it's still going slow.

I've been swamped with pony related creation recently. Writing Pride, running an Ask Tumblr, the various RPs I’m in... Quite a lot going on, I've even had to put my webcomic on hiatus because of it. Add all that to the fact that I have massive amounts of homework, and that I'm on a soccer team, and you can understand my time problems. Okay, it's been a couple of days, but a lot has gone on. i've been busy with multiple things and have had very little time to write. i know i left you with a horribly slap-dash cliffhanger, and for that i apologize, but bear with me. I have quite a lot going on right now and i promise, chapter 9 will get done.

I'm still here, it's just taking time.

Well, Chapter 8 was a quick turnaround, but I did cut it off very quickly so I dont know how well thar reflects me as an author... either way, I have quite a lot to cover in Chapter 9 now so bear with me.

Also, i've almost broken 20,000 words, I feel somewhat impressed that my meager writing skill has put out so many words.

Okay, for the last four days i've been in flordia on a short fall vacation, but now it's back to home and work. I'm at a rest-stop right now and just thought i'd say that during my break i haven't forgotten about Pride. in fact i've been adding ideas to my outline the whole time i've been gone and now that i'm back in the car i've started writing chapter 8. 900+ wpords down and counting. see everypony soon.
