One of my biggest irks having published stories on this site is when I get a down vote with no explanation. So I started thinking of a way to fix that. I know some people want to remain anonymous so they don't talk and I'm fine with that. Personally I'm okay with getting a PM as to why you down voted my story but that breaks anonymity.

Okay seeing as I have not had any responses on my art requests I Gimped up my own. That now done I am going to be putting the story up for approval as soon as I post this blog so keep an eye out for it.

Well I have finished Out of My Element: Just a Hop Skip and a Time Jump. Right now it is in Gdoc and I'm letting Naden Gryphus who kindly volunteered as a pre/proof-reader take a look at it. He has one story up right now and is working on a second one. Take a look at them.

Why does it look like crap you may ask. Well little Jimmie that's because I haven't touched GIMP in over two years and have forgotten how it works. Second question why put up cover art, because with the last chapter almost done and the Epilogue going to be around a thousand words, I figured it was about time this mess had a cover image.

So as people may or may not have noticed I haven't updated Out of my Element in the past 3 or so months that may be because I had school work, other priorities, or maybe just needed to get away from this beast of a story. This has become the longest thing I have ever written and as such each chapter becomes more daunting. I want to finish it though and my goal will be to have the story done in the next 10 or so weeks.

So as I have been writing I've learned more about Steel and have gone back to the first chapter to give him some more background, and to help fill in the corners a little bit. In all it's maybe 400 words but I think it helps.

So I ended up in a discussion with Device Heretic the other day in his blog that he has since deleted. I claimed I could rewrite my story so it wasn't a HiE but something else in Equestria.
