This past few weeks, I decided to get into the two big fanfictions in this fandom: Past Sins and most recently, the titan that is Fallout: Equestria. Before reading this, I never really understood why this story had such a huge presence in our fandom. I had never played a Fallout game, so I used that as an excuse to not read it. I soon gave up on that idea, and like many others, began reading the epic.

So, in the past 2 weeks, some really heavy stuff has hit my family. I can't say what, but know that it's so big that it could spell the end of any kind of family.

I learned of this from my dad, and the first thing he tells me is that despite all of this, we need to "stand our ground and be men for this family, and support this family. We have to stick together." Sounds good, right? Sounds like something a good dad would say, right?

For a while I wanted to try getting to EqD again, and I thought that Nobody and Anonymous would be my best shot. I think it is unique enough and well written enough to have a shot. I have edited it a bit, and changed some key bits. Basically, I've done all I can with it.

It has been over a year since I updated or posted any new stories here on FiMFiction. It has been a dry spell for me, with nothing coming to mind that I was able to flesh out and write.

Today, however, that dry spell ends.

I have submitted a new story, titled "Semper Fidelis" in for review by the FiMFiction mods. Should it pass, it will be the first story I've written in over a year that I published here.
