So. That happened.
Wow.
Thank you. Everyone. Seriously, thank you. I'm very, very, very glad so many are enjoying what I wrote. I was just trying to give Scootaloo some parents and a little comedy and this happened. I know I did the writing, but you guys did the liking, and the favoriting, and the commenting, and the getting me on the Featured Box again, and... Wow.
In an impressive turn of awareness, one of my shieldmate's co-workers bought us Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie figures for an office Secret Santa. We pitched "Rainbow's" purse and Pinkie's really-that-'s-a-Rarity-accessory tiara and placed the gals appropriately in the house. Then during dinner we looked over that fold out sheet that shows you everything else you can buy. Wow, I remember getting those with my Transformers. Nostaaaaalgia.
Then we saw a recommendation for an MLP app game.
Be warned. I walk in Spoilers for Princess Twilight Sparkle.
Season 4 has started off and I'm excited for new content to absorb, and to be inspired by new episodes of my favorite characters. But, I got stalled for a week in my writing. I'll get back to it shortly, but I want to tell you a quick, personal story.
I guess State of Author would be a better update because wow.
Wowie, wow, wow, wow. Thanks guys. I've never had a story get so popular, so thank you for supporting it so hard. ::checks front page again:: And for continuing to support it.
Anywho, down to business!
Since I'm between... everything at the moment, thought I'd throw some trivia everyone's way. Maybe this'll give you an insight into my creative process, maybe it'll just tickle ya a bit. Either way, here's some behind the scenes info on the stories I've written thus far.
State of the Story is not looking too shiny right now, captain.
As many of you know, I wrapped When the Mare Comes Around recently and I. Am. Pooped.
It was done at a breakneck speed I didn't know I possessed and pushed me in ways as a writer I never expected. Who knows where the sequel will take me?
Just a heads up, I'll be DragonConning for the next couple of days, so don't worry about my inevitable radio silence.
I will be cosplaying ponies with my shieldmate Jess throughout the weekend with Friday being our most definite. If you see a Wonderbolts Academy Dash and Pinkie with a crushed care package box in the style of Sapphire1010/gomigomipomi, that's us.
So many stories, so little time.
Okay, so Dreaming's Night is wow. Big bada boom wow. Still amazed at the reception. No sequels planned, but I never say never because where's the fun in that?
