Big Macintosh is a stallion of few words, but that doesn't mean he's slow or uneducated. Unknown to any outside the Apple family, he's a wiz at math and finds himself smitten with the one pony who could share his love for numbers, and who just so happens to be the personal student of Princess Celestia; Twilight Sparkle. With a "gentle" nudge from his persistent sister, Big Mac manages a date with the purple unicorn, but a relationship might turn out to be more work than either one bargained for.

Applejack and Rainbow have been together a while and life is good. Too good in fact. They've been living the dream, but the fabric of reality quickly unwinds for the rainbow maned pegasus. Sometimes, things aren't quite what they seem. Other times, maybe they're exactly what you want them to be.

This is my answer to continuity between the Winter Wrap Up and Family Appreciation Day episodes.

Often times someone's, or somepony's, greatest enemies aren't the obstacles before them but themselves. Far too often we deny who we really are and tell ourselves lies. Those betrayals are reflected in our relationships with those around us and what others expectations of us are. Eventually this falsehood manifests into something that can no longer be ignored. The question is; just who are you when you're alone in the dark and how do you handle the silent truth?

War has descended upon Equestria and the Bearers of the Elements have been defeated. In a final act of desperation Twilight Sparkle uses long forbidden magic to summon an unwilling participant from another world to turn the tide.

Her reluctant new ally may have deeper ties to the conflict than anyone might have imagined but could a man with a death wish hold the key to victory?
