Homophobia? · 6:15am Mar 3rd, 2015
Homo means 'the same as'.
Phobia means 'an irrational fear of'.
Homophobia, if taken literally, is therefore a fear of something that's the same as you.
What looks white when it's glad, red when it's sad and transparent when scared; sleeps through the night yet hides from the sun, won't give its name but pretends it's a bee and enjoys rollerskating?

So I've started a timeline of all my stories and important events on my homepage. I haven't included everything to prevent it from getting too long, and there are somethings I don't want to draw your attention too yet, but this should help you keep things in order. I'll keep it updated as I keep writing, for all our sakes, but here's it as it stands for now. Let me know if you think you see any mistakes.
I notice with frustration that most of the fandom keeps the idea of there only being a few alicorns, and all of them being ridiculously overpowered, dozens or even hundreds of times more powerful than an average unicorn. I think somewhere about 3rd season Hasbro decided to copy this and that’s one of the reasons I stopped watching it; because the idea is not consistent with the early seasons.
So last night I started thinking about a potential new story set at sea in post apocalyptic earth.
Tonight I saw for the first time an add for a TV series coming out called The Last Ship which takes a very similar theme...
Until now in the Tournament of Canterlot I'd claimed that:
I'm thinking of reworking the format of the first scene of LOTH to adding a bit of dialogue and make it a bit more intense; (and to subtly hint at the significance of Vireo's name.) thought the plot information remains the same.
Tell me if you think it's better than the version I have up now.
“…Tell me what happened Vera.”
It's been too long since I've read the books, I'd forgotten how they changed Eowyn.
Most of the time I find it annoying what our culture calls 'feminism', so it is interesting that something Tolkien wrote in 1954 had a stronger character than the modern movie.
References some scenes that were only in the extended cut; little bit of swearing.
The reason I haven't updated in a while is I've been working on a new story; I rather disliked how one dimensionally selfish and stupid the Wonderbolts were in Storm of Secrets, so I wanted to make a story about Soarin, where I make him a bit more sympathetic by showing why he's the way he is...
I’m getting more and more irritated by stories that cast Equestria as a utopia where war, poverty and crime are all unheard of; partially because it’s unbelievable storytelling, but mostly because there’s plenty of implications in the series itself that it simply isn’t true.
Here are my top seven examples:
1. Do you know the name of your councilman who’s in charge of your city’s water supply?
Probably not; because you take running water for granted.
I've been thinking about how bronies are meant to have this reputation to 'love and tolerate' ect and I was wondering: does anyone say that about us... except us?
I can see how how if a guy likes mlp, and most people in his life make fun of him for it, and then he finds a facebook page, where everyone accepts him for it, how he might say 'these people are accepting'; but for someone to accept you because your like them, isn't a display of love.
