Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years!

...Literally, I never really left the site, yet a combination of factors led to a near two year hiatus between chapters for Solider From The Stars. Fortunately, the stars seemed to have re-aligned themselves and I was able to get two chapters (well... two chapter ideas Frankenstein-ed into one and a short history lesson, really) finished and uploaded on last Wednesday (honest to God, completely forgot it was April Fool's Day).

Reading old through new DC comics for a refresher. Hopefully will be done in a week, hopefully will have something up before the first.

To make up for this, a question to ponder: What do the words "family" & "friends" mean to Hal Jordan?

"Soldier From The Stars" is updated once again, with this backstory heavy chapter.

This was a bit of an experiment, since I don't know how well this is going to go over. I felt that this route was better than trying to cram all of this information into the main narrative, but I dunno.

...but not until I get a new mouse. After getting over being burnt out, I've finally gotten a new wind and worked up the drive to continue and finish up the second part of chapter 3. Literally the only thing preventing me from doing so is that my PC mouse (which has for a long time been crapping out on me) finally up and refused to finally be accepted by my comiputer.

Hey people who... actually read this, just giving you an update on when the next chapters (yes plural) are coming out.

Resident Evil Game-athon isn't going as quickly as I had hoped, due to... certain circumstances (waste-oid of a boyfriend of my housemate using the living room all day EVERY DAY, & my work), so I've barely gotten started on 4, when I had hoped I'd be near done or finished with 5 (playing in chronological order, after all).

I'm gonna get neck deep into Resident Evil for a while, luckily I've got most of the games on Gamecube (0,REmake,2,3,CV:X), Wii (4:Wii Edition), 3DS (Revelations) and PS3 (5:Gold Edition). Hell, I even got the Blu-Ray of the Degeneration movie. Because, I say giddily, I've got 6 preordered and come the midnight release, I'll be playing that for days.

Oh, man I am glad it's done. Here's what happened: After I had to rewrite the whole thing, I was doing some editing. But as time went on, I wasn't satisfied with it. Originally the chapter ended before the final decision, but as I read it, I realized it was too much of a tease. So I added what WAS supposed to be the beginning of chapter 2 to the end and give some closure. By the time I'm done, I realize that it's like 10:15 and I just groan: "I was just supposed to edit it."
