...but not until I get a new mouse. After getting over being burnt out, I've finally gotten a new wind and worked up the drive to continue and finish up the second part of chapter 3. Literally the only thing preventing me from doing so is that my PC mouse (which has for a long time been crapping out on me) finally up and refused to finally be accepted by my comiputer.
Since I'm not suicidal enough to go shopping on freaking Black Friday, purchase of a new mouse will have to wait until Saturday or Sunday. As it is, I'm writing this on my parents' PC in their place.
For everyone who's been waiting patiently for a new update, I ask you wait a little longer.

Sorry for the MASSIVE delay. Answer: Real life and lack of confidence in my writing. There is some progress in the next chapter, but so far it's only around 400 words.
Don't worry, THE STORY IS NOT CANCELLED. I still have a lot of ideas for it. The tricky part is connecting them and writing the slow parts of the story. Hal Jordan without the ring is surprisingly difficult to write for, especially without it turning into a generic HiE story until he gets the uniform back on.
what canon are you going on with jordan comic, cartoon that weird movie? will the other corps be involved?

I will mostly be sticking close to the comics continuity, but will take some cues from the cartoon (which, BTW is BS how it & Young Justice was so unceremoniously cancelled for YET another Batman show [which might be good] and a lousy Teen Titans revival no one really asked for) and... yeah, maybe the movie if it fits into the plans. For example, the Red Lanterns I have planned are less feral than the original comics ones and more along the cartoon's ones but less restrained.
But the story is going to go in it's own way, what with 19 year old Hal Jordan & everything. As for the MLP side of things? I'm gonna try to go with the show & the IDW comic as close as I can. Magical Mystery Cure, I see happening in the future, but it will take the fic quite some time to reach. I find it funny how some writers here have IGNORES SEASON 3 on their stuff when, really, for the most part the show doesn't really follow a strict timeline. It's the DC stuff where the devil's in the details.

1004223 i just watched the new teen titans go series it not bad it has the original voice actors and theres even pony references if you take it as its own series and not as a sequel to the original then it stands on its own

Well that's good I guess, but it still doesn't change the fact that, instead of making for the program block two hours or such, they just cancelled two shows that everyone was enjoying to show two completely different ones without any forewarning or notice.
BTW. if you curious the next chapter should be up on Saturday or so.
