Arachnid. Perhaps the most feared name in all of Equestria. An assassin of renowned infamy, Arachnid never failed to complete a contract killing. Anyone or anything unfortunate enough to become his target would be dead before the next sunrise, with proof of his success in hoof. Be it the severed ear of a haughty noble, or the freshly skinned flank of some wannabe criminal, Arachnid always delivered.

He was the stallion who made ponies fear to tread the streets at night, and even made Princess Celestia wary of the shadows. But at the height of his career, he vanished off the face of the planet. Never to be heard from ever again. Some speculated that he cashed out when the going was good and retired to live a long and happy life. Others say he went on to bigger and better things whilst hiding completely in plain sight.

While these explanation seem plausible, none mention even once about the legacy that he left behind. A legacy that he bestowed to his only kin and heir to his name. His daughter, Fluttershy.

One shot, not sure if I'm gonna expand on this

Celestia and Luna gaze at their old family portrait from long ago. Two smiling young fillies sitting beside their beautiful mother were painted upon the canvas with oil paints that have miraculously survived the onslaught of time. But part of the painting is torn, and for good reason. It was that portion of the painting that had their father on it.

They cannot stand to look at their father for even a second.

But he is coming once again for his yearly visit, much to their eternal dismay, to spend time with them, and to apologize for being what he is. Will they finally forgive him after so long, or will they only continue to distance themselves from him?

Water is the essence of all life, no living thing can survive without it. Vast oceans cover nearly three quarter of the planet and is inhabited by an insurmountable number of undersea flora and fauna. It could be described as a thing of beauty. However, underneath all that beauty one can always find something ugly hidden away.

For nearly a decade now, Equestria and all of its neighboring countries, once prideful kingdoms settled upon a massive continent, have been reduced to nothing more than a collections of islands in the big blue. Everyone found their way to adjust to this new world. Some encountering more hardships than most, others driven by a mad attempt to rebuild the society that once was. But one thing is for certain:

When the tide rolled in, no one knew that it would be forever...

Victini accidentally ends up in the magical world of Equestria after a small bout between Dialga and Palkia began causing temporal disturbances throughout the world. Now, stuck in a new world, he attempts to get used to his new surroundings. Unfortunately, after using his powers to help a certain pink pony win a bake off, it appears that Victini has become the center of attention for both the forces of good and evil.

Hopefully no one ends up being badly burned by the end of this tale.

>I understand that most if not all legendary pokemon are genderless. But for simplicity sake I will be referring to Victini as a male. But if you like you can swap all of the he with she and the him with her. It doesn't change much.
>Set after the Victini Reshiram/Zekrom movie

The Elements of Harmony; quite easily the single most mysterious, and powerful artifact in existence, but they are not without their own flaws. Despite its abilities to bring down villainous foes with ease, they have a fail safe that renders it completely useless unless all six bearers are present, but more importantly, alive and focused. Should one wielder pass away or fail to become in tune with their respective elements, evil shall waste no time in grasping this opportunity to try and conquer Equestria while it is vulnerable.

To combat this vulnerability, the three princesses of Equestria established the P.M.D. program; The Paramilitary Defence program. A separate division of the royal guards devoted completely to the defense of the nation should the elements and their bearers become compromised. However, all information regarding the program is on a strict need to know basis. Other than the princesses, only scientist and important individuals know of what goes on in the program.

Just what exactly is it that they do to the members of the program for everyone, royalty included, to stay hushed about everything?

For as long as the ponies of Equestria have known, the common conception of the diamond dogs are that they are nothing more than savage bipedal canine creature that have a penchant for causing mischief and scouring the rich earth for gems and minerals. However, that is not the truth.

When tasked with an objective that is far too difficult for the royal guards and even the elements of harmony to handle, Shining Armor turns to the princesses for guidance. What he receives for back up will end up surprising more than the stalwart captain.

If I said that this wasn't inspired by metal gear solid five: the phantom pain, then I'd be lying.

What does a hero truly need?

This is a question constantly being asked by the mighty heroes of DOTA. They can move as quick as the wind, shudder mountains with the flick of a wrist, and bend the very essence of nature itself to their will. Yet they still ponder what it is they need. Is it the divine rapier? a weapon so omnipotent that it possesses more then one wielder. Or maybe it is the Aghanim's scepter which grants the heroes knowledge and skill beyond mortal comprehension. Maybe what they are looking for is more metaphorical in nature rather then a weapon? perhaps they were never meant to know at all.

But they can try to at least. Especially when some of the heroes are pulled from their own world and thrusted into Equestria. What will they find in this mysterious and unknown world? and more importantly, how will the inhabitants react to them when they find out they are more violent then they look?
