Yesterday, Horizon set up an AMA (Ask Me Anything) thread. Several writers have since followed his lead.
Now that the contest is well over, I have revised this story, which I hope will better express my vague intentions as I was composing it. The original version has been preserved, along with its comments.
I wrote recently about being on a diet and losing a lot of weight.
I mentioned that I had a digital scale that was only accurate up to 333 pounds. For any weight over that, it would read “EEEE.” I was on the diet for several weeks before I could even see a number on it, and that number was, of course, 333.0 pounds.
Due to hijinx and shenanigans yesterday, the notice may have gotten lost in the kerfuffle, but the next chapter is up, even though I technically had to split it in half. (I really need to learn the art of writing smaller chapters…)
(I’m kidding. I love it.)
Earlier today, I posted a cryptic joke chapter for April Fool’s day, consisting of one letter, in reference to a prior comment.
In doing so, I ran afoul of a board policy that prohibits making low-content chapters, as this may be abused to increase one’s visibility on the front page. The microchapter and its comments got deleted.
In light of the recent spate of stories on this topic, I feel obliged to weigh in.
