Just getting ready to/finishing publishing a new chapter to my new story, and I wanted to do a short little blog post, as well.

I want to thank everyone for the very, very unexpected amount of support I’ve gotten for on ‘We are our Habits.’ I wanted the world for that story, but to say I expected anything other than ridicule would be a blatant lie. Now, it’s almost up to 3,000 unique views, over 300 likes, and over 400 favs. It’s well and truly mind boggling.

So, I realised something recently. In the past, I generally wrote each chapter of my stories in one, or maybe two sittings. As time went on, I noticed that I have been using more of my free time trying to write, but not liking what has been coming out. So, I decided to take a few days off. As you might have noticed, I've released the first portion of the alternate ending of 'We are our Habits' and the first chapter of my new story, 'Luxury'.

Let's start with the first. I am leaving the story "complete" during this process because the true story is complete. The alternate is something that I had bouncing around in my head, and it just wouldn't go away. So, I decided to roll with it, and get it out of my head, the easy way. By putting it to paper.

I'm currently in the process of proofing the next chapter of We are our Habits as we speak. So, it looks like it should be out sometime tomorrow, but I may be wrong, after all, I do have to go through 12 full pages of text. That's right. Twelve pages. I know, that is 3x larger than my normal chapters and is by a margin the longest chapter I've done to date. That's the good news.
