All that changes when he meets Starry Night, a thestral mare whose wild mannerisms and unorthodox attitudes undoubtedly clash with his own ideals. As the two discuss and argue about the art of tea-drinking, Golden begins to learn that, sometimes, it's not about the perfection and standard that counts, but the heart that goes into it.

Nightbrewer is a inconspicuous pony surrounded by humans, running a small coffee shop, despite living in a society that doesn't accept coffee. But when a human suddenly demands for a cup, he is surprised, and, in the process of getting to know him, finds out just how much this human needs his help.

Kintarō is bored. Today is a day off, his wife has gone on a trip, and he is left alone in the big city of Edo. Taking a walk to calm himself, he stumbles upon two unworldly things: coffee, and ponies.

As it turns out, he might prefer the latter.

Izzie's having a hard time figuring out what to write. He's spent the whole day staring at a blank screen, frustrated that nothing creative can come out.

Twilight Sparkle helps with that.

Written as a result of a real-life scenario. Can be (nearly) considered a self-insert.

Tempest Shadow is bored. She only knows how to fight, but it's a skill which Equestria doesn't need at the moment. So, she's just been getting by with odd jobs and black, unsweetened coffee.

Making friends is difficult for Matilda, though she wants to try. Living life is harsh because she was a citizen of a disgraced nation, though she is proud of her heritage. Having ambitions is impossible because it would take a lifetime to earn her freedom, though she does not stop dreaming about it.

Until she begins to discover the power of Friendship and Harmony for herself.

Spring Creek is just a foreign pony who runs the small noodle shop in Ponyville. However, nopony knows how he came to Equestria, a fact which hides a deep and painful past from the faraway land of Neighpon.

But today, as he reveals that past to his long-time friend and business partner Bamboo Leaf, he also confesses deeper feelings for her, and finds the one thing that he had always sought for for twenty years - hope.

Although redeemed, Tempest Shadow was known for many things: commanding the Storm King's armies, spearheading the attacks of various nations, and generally just being a real jerk.

What she wasn't known for, however, was that she could actually play the piano...

It is highly recommended to listen to the music (URL provided) while reading the description of Tempest's performance, colored blue.

Twilight has not forgotten a particular crime she had committed against a certain seapony, and so does the one right thing: make amends.
