The Conversion War was at a stalemate, but the deadlock was about to end. On the 12th hour of the 12th day of the 12th month of the 12th year of the war, around 13 days before Christmas, and 20 days before a New Year, humanity had waited for so long, the deadlock had lasted long enough, and with a unified agreement, everything could end.

Humanity was about to repeat history once more, but it won't be about money or power, that would mean nothing to them, their decision would affect everyone beyond the graves, a will to preserve what is just and not right, reasons, and justifications are needed and given, the final decision is that made with questions to bear and a single answer to give.

The Final Renegade as it is to be known to history, and the final moments of the nations and creatures who had fought for what they believed be right, but for what was needed. Deep down, these two worlds shared one thing in common, their own mortality, a morality in which they would relive their separate history, lest they forget.

This one was an idea I "think" was good, and I plan to make it count.

This was made with inspiration is and loosely based around Rated Ponystar's Negotiations-verse (Not part of it in any shape or form), and like it, it was also influenced by other Conversion Bureau stories and Fallout(NV), in this one, humanity and Equus (as a whole) are in a deadlock, the Conversion War had lasted longer than what both sides had anticipated and prepared for, with neither seemingly getting closer to victory nor defeat. But the need to break the deadlock is made.

(I'll probably edit some things without notice...)

Also, it would be nice for corrections and whatnot to be made, I made this out of fun, and see you soon!

A castle and a palace are far from the same thing. One is a symbol of absolute wealth and comfort while the other is that of a technical marvel in medieval warfare, but both are testament in their own fields.

Yet for all the integrability that the two would often find and be used for, Canterlot, a city forged with a “castle” as its centerpiece, a symbol of highlife, is nothing more than an amalgamation in its grand-design, a design flawed ever since its first conception.

But take it all away, everything, the civilian, the princesses, the guards, everyone. And you could see, in the city's grand design or centerpiece, it is neither a proper castle nor a full palace in the nature of its design.

Canterlot is a city, yes, what started as castle walls grew into something different, Canterlot, a city that lies in the middle of what it tries and fails to be and achieves, a split between being a safe haven from danger and a symbol of wealth and highlife, only ever leaning towards wealth that it could bear.

A Keepless Castle in its grand design.

Hi! :yay:

I made another story and I admittedly winged for the first part and didn't know where to stop, so the first chapter may seem a bit jumbled up or something, all that said I'll probably make an anticlimactic ending to this or something, throwing ideas here and there, we'll see...

As always, I ask that you guys tell me your thoughts and tell me any grammatical mistakes, constructive criticism, and if the story tags are incorrect, plus this was just for fun and nothing more, probably.
Thanks and till next time.

Warfare is a complicated subject for most. Like most things, it could be seen in different lenses, a righteous cause or a greedy excuse. But let us not forget, warfare is a combination of things, an ideal set in motion to its very core, to rewrite the map, to send a message through blood instead of ink.
Warfare is an art form to some, an extension of politics perhaps,
but in my eyes, warfare is the greater embodiment of what it means to gamble; to bet and deal in the hopes to receive more in return or to simply pay the price of your actions.

But I do know one thing that stays true in all wars;
it never decides the righteous side. It only leaves whatever is left after it.

This is a non-canon (Unless proven otherwise) anthology series heavily based on my reimagining of events based on the Negotiation-verse made by Rated Ponystar, focusing mostly during the years of the Conversion Wars and the battles and operations that were fought and done that changed/shaped the course of the war.

Take note that I will write chapters with the year added to them, so earlier events in the timeline could be written and published first and vice-versa.

Of course, some events in this story will possibly result in an AU or is inconsistent with canon, but for the most part, I will see to it that I, hopefully, am able to create a narrative that mostly fits canon, some help (maybe name suggestions?), and criticisms are greatly appreciated since I am doing all of this without any outside help when it comes to proofreading, tell me if ever the tags or anything else is wrong so that I could correct it.

Again, thank you to the reader or anyone else for that matter.

P.S. This is not meant to compete with zelkova48’s Story (you know which one) which this one is heavily influenced by, I plan to have this as a sort of "substitute" to it.
The cover art was made by a good friend of mine, they said they wanted to remain anonymous.

In the woods far away from Canterlot, an important member of the Lunar Guard has been killed. In a time when Equestria was still in confusion with the world around them, with Star Swirl the Bearded and his companions going missing, and foreign politics reaching a boiling point, another event like this, (excluding the countless problems they could face,) was sure to tip off the Equestrian public and taint the general image of the diarchy.
With this in mind, the Royal Sister made plans to recover the secrets that were lost by the death of this guard.

The only problem, everyone else was preoccupied with the chaos they were in. So it was decided, Shining Armor and Flash Sentry would try and find the secrets within the woods those woods, unexpectedly, they run into one of the most questionable sites that they would ever run into, finding out secrets not meant for the common ear.

I started this story back in June, not my first (written) story, but it is one of the very first stories that I had planned to be published, it was supposed to have a sister story, but I'm not sure if I'll continue that idea.

I would probably find time to continue it, but I’ll see what happens, but until then, I hope is nice, constructive criticism, and corrections are greatly appreciated. and I’d be interested in where you guys take this.

P.S. The cover image (I plan at least) to be temporary, and I think I did it write, do tell me please, thanks.
