Rainbow Dash and Soarin have known each other for a long time, have been dating for a while, and have recently announced their engagement. Today, they are spending time with their friends Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich. Unfortunately for Rainbow, the moment is anything but romantic.

Hulda has run Whiterun's only tavern for a long time, and has seen many, strange things. She's dealt with drunkards, brawlers, politically-driven idiots who love wagging their tongues, and more. She believed she could handle about any situation that came her way. But...talking horses? How does anyone deal with crazy talking horses?

Understanding of the few Skyrim-named characters are not necessary, but it can make the story a little easier to follow.

A violent storm is heading towards Ponyville, one that the weather teams cannot control or affect. Everypony must now seek shelter. Rainbow Dash is about to do just that when she spots somepony being tossed about in the tumult. Without hesitation, she spurs herself into action to rescue the poor soul. But the rescue attempt will soon devolve into a struggle to avoid a fate worse than death, for the storm carries with it the substance of a terrible legend.

This story was inspired by the legend of the Flying Dutchman, a ghost ship that is doomed to sail forever, never reaching port, as well as other similar legends.

Princess Luna has had a...difficult life. The torment of memories such as these has resulted in a never-ending struggle to come to terms with her checkered past.

Tonight, Luna's struggle is especially difficult. Will she be able to endure the emotional onslaught of her grief and regrets? Or will she crumble under its weight, her heart torn asunder by the burden of self-condemnation?

It's Hearts and Hooves Day, and Mr. and Mrs. Cake are able to spend the day alone together. Reflecting on an event for next Hearts and Hooves Day involving Princess Cadance, Mrs. Cake, reflecting on the longevity of alicorns, wonders how her husband will see her in the future, whether or not he would still find her desirable. His response is both assuring and encouraging.

The title is from the lyrics of an 1808 song called "Believe me, if all those endearing young charms".

Anon, Ponyville's resident human, is enjoying another beautiful day. Well, he's trying to, anyway. Unfortunately, his efforts are thwarted by the actions of Ponyville's resident alligator, Gummy.

Everywhere he goes, Anon is constantly assaulted by the little green menace with a spirit of fury and persistence.

Why is Gummy attacking him? What are his motives? Why is he so hell-bent on Anon's demise? And will Anon's ankles possibly come out of this intact?

What starts off as a camping trip with the CMC ends in a catastrophe. An unexpected cave-in occurs, threatening the group. Everyone is able to escape to safety; well, almost everyone. Now, Lyra Heartstrings finds herself trapped underground, separated from her friends. Will she be able to escape? Will she see them again? Right now, however, Lyra has a bigger problem. Something is in the cave with her, and it's heading her way.
